Most of the RP won’t go over like this, it will write itself as more of a traditional RP. But I love a good thematic introduction. The idea I am going for is that none of you know this, but once you read the email it tied you to the DigiWorld. For your introductions you will all awake in your homes, a typical morning for you. It will begin to unravel that this is not the world you know soon after. As your homes will all be perfectly replicated and parts of your streets will be, but there will be slight oddities. Like the modern Japanese home which shouldn’t be in America [where Kei and Max would retrospectively live]. You will be tasked shortly after with a key to unlock your Digivices. Which I will be allowing you to customize.
Chaos has struck the Digiworld, as Yggdrasil was slain by Chaos itself. A new story begins, a new adventure begins. With a new set of individuals who wield the power to slay chaos and seal it forever into the abyss. Though that is always the hopeful choice is it not? For the Digi Destined hold the power of the Digiworld's fate within their Digi Device, within themselves. While one could always hope there is good inside. There is potential for corruption and potential for Chaos to burrow its way into the weak minded and ill fated. Those who were not prepared for the journey do not grow. Their souls become forever lost, wandering the meadow of digital evil.
You are one of the Digi Destined. Your fate lies before you. To stand by friends and Digi allies to save the Digit World from Chaos. Lucemon O has slain Yggdrasil and has plunged the Digiworld into disarray. No one knows what to do and so 8 chosen Humans from the Human World were chosen to wield the 8 different crest of the Digiworld in hopes to use their great powers of light, love and hope to restore the Digital World. However, this journey will not be so easy for the cast. They must overcome not only physical test, they must overcome their own demons or be succumbed by their own demons. Will you pick up the call? Will you pick up a crest to become a Digidestined?
You of 8, from different parts of the world, one day all receive a mysterious email. Compelled to open it, you have no idea how your life will change so drastically in the course of a single night.
Let's get down to business with some rules and then we'll go into the fun stuff.
I normally do not implement a posting speeds however, I believe 1 post a week is an acceptable speed of pace and ask that you try to maintain that minimum. Of course members can post more than 1 once a week. If you cannot make a post simply communicate with me and I will often try to find a way to work with you.
Next, if you sign up for this RP with a character and that character is accepted, then you are making a promise or at least you're saying that you'll make an effort to maintain a presence in this RP and make an effort to post per posting requirements. If you cannot make that commitment and continually leave RPs, then this RP will not be for you.
Lastly and this is the most Important Rule of them All. Is COMMUNICATE with me. If something comes up and you know that is please tell me. While I understand emergencies, I will not accept continual absences. Anyone who joins this RP will be looked through the same 3 criteria; reliability, quality, and creativity.
If you agree to these terms please write somewhere on your sheet; With my power I the DigiDestine will restore the Digiworld.
While Unofficially so, this CS has also been grandfathered in. Enjoy. ^^
Name: Tyler "Ty" Falcon
Nationality: American
Appearance & Physical Attributes/Picture:
Age & Birth Date: 12, 5/13/1999
Trait: Hope/Despair
Skills: Amateur Mixed Martial Artist- His eldest brother is a skilled MMA fighter, to a point where he would consider going into professional fighting, and made it a point to train all of his siblings in fighting almost every day so that they may be able to protect themselves if the time ever came when they needed to; this included Ty. Ty has considerable skill for someone his age, allowing him to use his size to his advantage when in a fight, however he is still simply an amateur and has yet to develop on those skills he was taught. A more experienced or veteran fighter would be able to beat the kid without much problem.
Agility- Being young and trained to be a combatant as he is, Ty is often shown to be quick on his feet, capable of parkour among other things. However, how quick is limited by both human limitations and his own age and stamina, of which, while more than a normal child of his age, is still considerably small compared to a normal adult's.
Wisdom- His greatest talent, above all others, is that he is unusually wise for someone his own age. Far more patient and well-mannered than his age would suggest, and very perceptive; able to see things in ways that others may not notice. To be clear, while he is "wise", he is not "intelligent". He can't exactly tell you the square root of a number, but he can notice elements in an environment or in someone's fighting styles that would be used to an advantage of him and his allies, and can effectively see how a person should go through something just from a quick look of their personalities in action. Often times he hides this sense of wisdom and perception over a silly and laid-back persona, essentially to ensure others underestimate him.
Improvising- Because of his perceptive talents, Ty is also able to quickly improvise tactics and essentially come up with plans on the spot just from looking at the situation around him. There are, of course, limits to this; it's not as if time can freeze around him and he can come up with plans literally in miliseconds. At his mind's fastest, it takes about 3-10 seconds to think of something, and even then he's essentially rushing matters.
Hobby: Culinary arts- His father sucks at cooking, and only his eldest brother was interested in cooking for the sake of his own health and the health of others. To help him out and to be able to do stuff on his own that may not involve healthy food in particular, Ty began cooking for himself with said brother's help. While his cooking is spit-out/poison awful, it's also not particularly great either, just mediocre. He still has a long ways to go as a chef, but he is getting there... slowly.
Personality: Before coming into the Digital World, Ty has been something of a little comedic goofball, always wanting to make a laugh in good fun. A mischevous, sly, and tricky little fellow who'd be willing to prank even the most powerful of authority men if he ever had the chance, and always with a big grin and a giggle. He seems to almost purposefully show himself off as clumsy and irresponsible just so others can get a good laugh at his expense. Comedy, after all, stems from misery, and laughter was the best medicine.
Perhaps because of this comical nature, he is often seen as somewhat annoying and obnoxious far more than the menacing demeanor of his status and his digimon. Often times, even his own partner gives him a fist to the top of his head like a hammer when Tai goes too far in his annoyance.
Once he enters the Digital World however, that mischevous nature takes center-fold as he essentially plays the role of bad guy and treating it as just that, a fun little role that he doesn't seem to take too seriously himself. As the Digimon Emperor, he depicts himself as an evil, but often comical and trickster playing overlord, one who shows a great respect to his minions while at the same time throwing them at the Digidestines to keep them busy while he attempts to "TAKE-OVER-TEH-WORLD!" via collecting the Crests before the rest of them.
Beyond that, Tai is a very laid-back and easy-going fellow. Ever the confident optimist, Ty doesn't show much in the way of worry for himself, and doesn't show much worry concerning the identity of his partner either. He has a firm belief in the good-will of his partner despite knowing who he is, in the quality of skill of the other digidestines and in their capability to do the right thing in the end. He's always been so fascinated by new environments and worlds, and perhaps it's because of that and his age that he seemed so unphased by the digimon, the digital world, and what had to happen to get him there.
Of course, this does not mean he is immune to disappointment when something doesn't go his way, or if someone dashes his expectations in the worst possible ways, nor is he immune to temper tantrums, especially if things goes wrong during his "emperor schemes". Most importantly, however, it's because he's so confident and hopeful that when something happens that induces a state of despair in him, it hits him hard. It puts him into a heavy state of depression and if left as is for long enough, potential insanity would follow.
Bio: Born the youngest son of Jacob Falcon, Tyler was often considered the runt of the proverbial litter compared to his other four siblings. He was not the fastest, not the strongest, and not the smartest of his brethren by far. But what he lacked in the traits of his brothers, he had gained in his eyesight and a perceptive, nearly philosophical mind.
Tyler could see things in ways none of the others have considered, the type of kid who got the wrong answers in class, but had a firm reason why he thinks they should be the right answers. But of course, they'd still be considered wrong regardless. Out of the six Falcon children, Tyler seemed fated to be a failure, as he hadn't the qualities of his brothers, and his own qualities wasn't considered much more than merely an oddity. Shrugging off their degradation of what he can and can't do, he simply accepted his own inferiority, which was what started his more laid-back and easygoing tendencies.
However, his eldest brother never abandoned him, even when he seemed to abandon himself and give up. Jordan Falcon, eldest and strongest of the siblings, put him through the ringer, teachning him how to fight, and finding ways to help put his own skill of perception to practical use. His confidence and belief in the little kid was enough to make the other siblings jealous of Ty, and Ty couldn't quite blame them, often wondering why Jordan would bother with a hopeless mess like him. Jordan answered this one day, stating he really had little reason to believe in him, and just that he did, that Tyler had a potential that he believed all humans have in one way or another, and was confident that it could be used to make him just as successful as any other member of his family, even when it doesn't seem like it.
Jordan's own confidence over time began to rub off on Ty, as he began to see what his brother saw in people both in the family and in his classes. As for himself, though he was still very young, and had little to no real use for his own gifts yet, he believes he'll find a place in life he could belong over time.
Little did he know that that sense of worth would come not from his daily life, but from another world altogether.
Some time before the others, Tyler was contacted by a digital entity known as Lucemon. With a Digivice in the tyrant's hand, Lucemon's hand reached out of the screen, grabbed the Digi-destine, and pulled him into the world beyond.
What happened between then and now is unknown to anyone but them. However, His hair color and his attire changed ever since he got there, and within days, he has gathered up a small army of Digimon and has wrecked havoc...well, more like simple mischef, across the Digital World, proclaiming himself its emperor and overlord, with an ultimate goal of its domination entire.
Attacks: (Due to his existence as a copy or a fragment of the Genuine Article, all attacks described here, from Child Lucemon onwards, are greatly degraded and diminished forms of the original attacks, to a degree where they are essentially equalized to the normal quality of other Digimon of his respective levels. For example: While the Original Lucemon's Grand Cross is stronger than most Mega-level attacks, including Seraphimon's Strike of the Seven Stars, Copy Lucemon's Grand Cross is about as strong and effective as any other attack from a Rookie level digimon.)
Puttimon:
Angel Dust- Calls forth a mysterious powder while flying about that places the opponent in a happy mood.
Kyupimon:
Angel Ring- Generates a ring of light from the protuberance on its calvaria and throws it at the opponent.
Lucemon:
Grand Cross- Fires ten super-heated spheres of light arranged in a cruciform syzygy.
Lucemon Mornstar Mode:
Divine Feat- Creates a great sword or spear of light.
Lucemon Chaos Mode:
Paradise Lost- Launches the opponent high into the air with a wild dance of blows, then holds their limbs fixed as it drives them back into the ground.
Dead or Alive- Produces a three-dimensional magic circle as a glowing orb of holiness (Light) and evilness (Darkness) combines and confines the opponent within, where it has a 50/50 chance of being either completely annihilated, or suffering great damage.
Terrible Dance- Attacks with a graceful roundhouse kick of Magic
Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode:
Purgatorial Flame: Exhales a flame of destruction which purifies everything.
Divine Atonement: Fires a light of annihilation from the seven Crowns.
Dimension Slasher: Attacks with sharp claws that can pierce dimensional walls.
Wrath of Darkness: Uses the orb, Gehenna, to emit a ray of destruction.
Lucemon Larva Mode:
Longinus Stinger- A small piercing beam of light fired from the Larva's tail, capable of piercing even the toughest of metals.
Misc. Skills: Flight- Being an Winged Digimon from Baby to Mega, Lucemon is capable of flying through the air with ease and agility to match some of the greatest of Avian Digimon
Ancient Experience- Lucemon has existed since the ancient days of the Digital World, Lucemon-C having a copy of Lucemon-O's memories and by extension those very experiences as well. He knows about the ancient legends and digimon of old, and should one ever rise up to stand against the digi-destines, he would know the ways of negotiating or defeating such threats.
Ancient Scripture Translation- As someone who has been there during those times, Lucemon is of the rare few left in the digital world who are able to read and dicipher any scriptures and writings found in ruins or tablets that existed during the ancient times.
Digital Enchantments- As a Celestial Digimon of the ancient world, Lucemon possesses the knowledge of digital enchantments, that is to say, particular coding within the system of the digital world that could modify the environment of the digital world and edit digital monsters in specific ways around him in the form of spells, hexes, and enchantments.
There are, of course, limitations to this. Specifically, while it may look like magic, in reality it's nothing of the sort. As the Digital world and all things is one giant program set upon a very massive and complicated coding, all Lucemon is doing is taking a fragment of that coding and slightly adding bits (literal bytes more like) to its algorithm to produce seemingly magical results. As such, there rules and methods that must be followed, or the enchantments simply won't work, and even there's no spell or enchantment for every occasion one can think of. In addition he is unable to access all of the coding, in particular the Core Programming and source codes of the digital world and its denizens. He can't modify a digimon to become another digimon, for instance, and of course the code for Digivolution is nigh impossible to find, let alone use. But he can add in particular code algorithms to paralyze, enhance, or enseal items or digimon.
Unfortunately, while Lucemon-O is still quite capable of using this talent at its finest, Lucemon-C lacks the power to wield the kind of code modifying that one would expect from a Virus Buster of his supposed calibur.
Personality: As a fragment of the Original Lucemon (or Lucemon-O for short), Lucemon-C inherited Lucemon-O's personality and memory data, and thus having a very similar personality to Lucemon-O with the exception of a contrasting difference amidst the similarities.
Much like Lucemon-O, Lucemon is a calm, calculative and manipulative entity, boasting a grandiose ego and narcissism worthy of the Sin of Pride. His arrogant nature has often led him to having a very condescending demeanor towards others, not that it seems to bother his partner in the slightest. Perhaps it is because of this superiority complex that he can be patient but aggravated by the constant antics of said partner, often times convinced he is merely babysitting him, despite knowledge of his qualities.
Often he takes advantage of his appearance and innocent demeanor to lower the guard of others and make them more susceptible to his control as a result. He is not above deception and leading others to disadvantageous situations and possibly their own demise if he finds it necessary to get what he wants, and him having the memories and experience, combined with a gift of the silver tongue, he has shown to be a very...convincing liar.
However, the difference between Lucemon-C and Lucemon-O stems from a moral conscience and boundaries. Unlike his tyranical other half, Lucemon-C is empathetic and respectful to those around him, his partner included. He cannot bring himself to show it to anyone, but he does truly care for others and has a great love for the digital and its inhabitants. While this contradicts his ability to lead digimon to destruction or deleting them himself, everything he does is for a greater and more benevolent cause; he is willing to sacrifice a few digimon, especially if they are cruel and corrupt, in order to save a greater whole of them. He sees what Lucemon-O and the other Demon Lords have done to the world and the Digimon that roamed it, and vows to gain the power to put a stop to it. Yet, he has memories of Yggdrasil and what he attempted to do, and cannot condone its actions or its existence in causing those actions, and so finds himself an enemy of both. His seeks in all of his actions to make his better half see the light once more, and to free the Digimon from the grip of Yggdrasil and Lucemon-O both.
Bio: Among all the angel digimon in the world, there was one above them all: Lucemon, the Morning Star, the leader of the Celestial Digimon, and often deemed the right hand of God. It was said that Lucemon was there in the beginning days of the Digital World, assisting God in its conception and solving some of its first and most precident problems of the time, such as sealing away the just as arrogant Digimon Sovereign of the Center, Huanglongmon, and stopping any early and destructive wars between the primative digimon of days long gone leading them to an era of order and harmony, with the assistance of six fellow celestial digimon that he led to assure the continued development and prosperity of the new Digital World.
As the story goes, when the world was created in seven days by seven angels, that God laid itself dormant, leaving the heavenly host in charge of overseeing and protecting all that it had made. With Lucemon taking charge of the heavens, they have done just that for an untold number of years. With no word from their heavenly father (ABC), nor his holy scribe (ENIAC), Lucemon's arrogance began to take hold, as he truly believed himself no longer simply the right hand of God, but a God in and of himself, of which all should give praise and gratitude for.
Perhaps in response to this ego, or simply out of coincidence, without warning, a great monolith from afar dropped to the ground from heavens unknown even to him, and from it sprouted a single tree, tall enough to touch the heavens, and wide enough to eclipse all stars of the morning and evening both. From underneath its branches, armored Digimon unknown to all angels, even Lucemon, appeared to the denizens of the world. They declared themselves as the Royal Knights, loyal to Yggdrasil, the World Tree and the newly declared King of the Digital World. Insulted by the very thought, Lucemon and his six followers descended upon this new king and his knights to establish themselves as their superiors. In response however, the Knights under the orders of the King, attacked and defeated the seven angels, and Yggdrasil himself, with its power as a server, stripped them of their light, their grace, and banished them to the Dark Zone as fallen angels, forever marking them with the crowns of sin so that others may look upon them and know the fate of all who follow in their paths.
This was how these angels came to be known, as the 7 Great Demon Lords.
Rather than fear Yggdrasil, or moarn the disgrace of the angels, the digimon below saw this power as proof, and praised Yggdrasil recognizing them as their king, which fed upon the frustrations of Lucemon and his cohorts. Even so, they chose to be silent, to be patient, to wait for the opportunity to gather the unjust and the unworthy of the deleted digimon to their side in the dark zone, and strike at Yggdrasil so as to reclaim authority from the Tree that stole it all from them.
While this was viewed as patiently gathering an army for a conquest, in truth, Lucemon wanted to gather power so as to fight Yggdrasil the fairly, and without bystanders of any kind in his way. For despite the dark taint that was forever shown outwards in the form of his black wings, there was still a part of him that could not bear to hate the world God created, nor the denizens within it. Even Yggdrasil himself, Lucemon eventually saw as less an enemy over time and more a rival to surpass, an equal worthy of his time and effort.
However, this changed when this Yggdrasil declared to do something Lucemon did not ever expect...Out of a lonliness for others that kin to him, he attempted to break open the walls of time and space, attempting to enter a separate dimension so as to meet with other Yggdrasil units in other universes...at the expense of this one, and the digimon below, perhaps unknowing or decieved by the Royal Knights, cheered on their king despite the sacrifices of his actions including them, and the same mindless masses when attempted to listen to reason, declared the naysayers as enemies of the state, as viruses that must be purged, and were casted into the Dark Sea along with them.
For Lucemon, this was the last straw. As he witnessed Yggdrasil about to destroy the world he loved just to satisfy its own selfishness, he felt as something within his very code snapped in twain. The love he once had was gone, and in its place was a seething hatred and wrath that could no longer be held back. He no longer concerned himself with the well-being of the Digimon below, for they all deserved the judgement that was about to befell them. With the roar of a mighty lion, the forces of darkness, the Nightmare Soldiers, and the 7 Demons that led them, attacked the Royal Knights and Yggdrasil in full force, deleting anything and everything that stood in their path, and from the data of the defeated, adding more soldiers to their cause. In the end, no longer holding back, The 7 Demon Lords were victorious as most of the Royal Knights were deleted, and Yggdrasil itself destroyed. Led by the now-tyrant Lucemon, the Seven Demon Lords now ruled over the Digital World.
However, That was not the end of it, for Lucemon's will and code were so powerful, that the part of him that was seemingly erased from the trauma of it all still existed. The coding that made up his moral consciousness, his love for the digital world, all of the emotions of kindness and respect no longer associated with the name of Lucemon, separated from him and manifested itself as a second Lucemon, Lucemon-C. A Benevolent copy model made from the data and memories of the original, a data anomaly that should not have existed, now wishing to make things right in the world. But as a small and inferior model of the Original Lucemon, or Lucemon-O for short, he did not stand a chance against the fellow demon lords, much less his original self. He was far weaker, and unlike his original, is unable to digivolve on his own.
Fortune is on his side, however, as he finds out about Dorumon's plan to bring Digi-destineds, humans with the capability of wielding the digivices and allow digivolution for specific digimon, to this world. To top things off in his favor, upon observing the area he was preparing for the summoning of these humans, he noticed that there eight tags, eight digivice, but only seven digi-eggs. For some reason he could not explain, he himself felt something when looking upon the digivice, a connection, a similar data algorithm to his own. As if by a prank of destiny, it seems he was the digimon partner of one of these humans, whether Dorumon is aware of this or not is unclear, but it would be odd of him to keep that digivice rather than destroying it if he knew Lucemon was the one tied to it.
However, he knew what Dorumon's objective was, and if there is even a slight chance that what he was feeling was true, and there was a digidestined that could partner with an anomaly like him, he knew Dorumon would never allow the human come forth, nor for a crest to be used upon him. Moreover, Lucemon-O's reputation as a Tyrant that rules with an iron fist further sullies Lucemon-C's reputation as a result. Should he attempt to tell them the truth of Dorumon's plans, they would never be able to believe him easily, as there are plenty of Digimon out there could vouch for whatever Dorumon tells them about him. Dorumon would no doubt use Lucemon-O's actions as an excuse to make Lucemon-C out to be a criminal so long as he was with them, and them being the perfect tools for Dorumon, of course he would not let them out of his sight.
This in mind, sometime before Dorumon was ready to gather and summon the digidestineds, Lucemon-C stole two digivices, two tags, and one of the digi-eggs, and left with them in hand.
Why the extra items? Because no matter how forunate it seemed, it also seemed very odd for one such as he to be destined to partner with a human, and so it's likely there was some mistake and he isn't the one that partners with a human. Should that be the case, he would be sending a human into danger without the protection of his partner and as such would useless to him until he could find the partner he was meant for. The second theft of a digivice, tag, and an egg, would serve as the backup plan in such a scenario so as to protect the digimon-less digidestined. In addition, should he be right about his suspicions, another digidestined helping his cause could be helpful as well.
As Lucemon-C held Lucemon-O's memories, he had knowledge of the Digivices, a creation of the days of old, and knew how they worked. He used the Digivice's power to open up a portal to the human world, and from it, brought out a human, his human, the young but wise Tyler Falcon.
Hypothetical Voice Actor: Shannon Emerick (Child/Larva), Ben Pronsky (Mornstar/Chaos)
Name: Michael (Mike) Fertar Nationality: British Appearance & Physical Attributes/Picture: Age & Birth Date: 19, 27/06/1992 Trait: Friendship Hobbies & Skills: Mike is a master hacker that goes under the name of Bloodwolf, he is also very good at programming codes. But he also enjoy jogging and keeping himself fit. Mike can fight having trained under master for Judo, Ju jitsu and Karate. Digimon Partner: Punimon> Tsunomon> Garurumon> WereGarurumon> MetalGarurumon> Omnimon> Omnimon Merciful Mode Quote & Personality: Mike is a calm, and kind guy who always puts other before himself. Mike also has an older brother like feel to him as he is the oldest of three siblings. Mike take family very seriously and he takes pride in his programming and hacking skills. Mike is also a believer in both fantasy and Supernatural things which explains his love for things like Dragon, Wolves, werewolves and Kitsune. Bio: Mike was born to Jarred and Mimi Fertar as their first child of three. Even from a very young age, the boy was gifted with a prodigal intelligence that has helped him throughout his years of education, graduating High School as the top valedictorian of the school and effectively deciding to not bother with college, seeing it as worthless and moot for one his mind, unlike Sasha and Ant, his two younger siblings, who always seemed unable to break from their brother's large and nearly overbearing shadow.
Of course that's not to say he was without problems. His parents was constantly praising him, constantly pushing their expectations on him knowing he had what it takes to meet them. His siblings induced an inferiority complex due to how gifted their older brother was compared to them. As his intelligence granted him an honor status, it was also unfortunately a focal point for those jealous of his mind to bully him without much relent. What he gained in honors was balanced with a relentless barrage of bullying to him, and anyone who associated with him. Not willing to put up with it, both for himself and his friends and family, he trained himself and went to several masters to teach him as much martial arts as he could learn, so that he may implement it in self-defense.
In the meantime, his mind was so focused on the scientific and logical throughout most of his life, that the world as it stood defined began to bore him to no end. He discovered the ideas of Fantasy, folklore - religious or otherwise - and the supernatural during his pre-teen days, and from then on it fascinated him to no end. The very idea that there could be things that logic and science could not explain, the possibility of such things existing and happening excited him to no end.
Alas, the closest things he could come across he only saw through computers and digital technology, and so to indulge in fantasies, need it be through stories, games, and so on, he became obsessed with digital technology, hoping it would be a sort of gateway to worlds of artistic magic and wonder beyond the logical world he was in since his toddler days. As he began learning about how computers and digital technology in general worked, he started to experiment, altering data, hijacking information, until eventually he self-taught himself to becoming a full-fledged Hacker, and becoming known world wide as "Bloodwolf", a name that summed up his liking for fantasy monsters in a nutshell, not to mention effectively intimidating.
When he was old enough to do so, his interests in computers and digital tech pointed him towards an island country in the far east, Japan. When he graduated and saved enough money, with the aid of his parents no less, he decided to leave his home of Great Britain, and went on a Plane to Japan to explore all of the wonders it has in store for him, hopefully getting a job working with them.
With my power, I the digidestined will restore the digiworld.
Name: Maxwell "Max" Hudson Age: 19 Gender: Male Nationality: American Crest: Love
Personality: Max is a cheerful, optimistic guy who doesn't like to be bogged down with unpleasant thoughts. He enjoys laughing and making jokes with others, even in inappropriate situations. He is easygoing and friendly, which makes it easy for him to befriend people. He is really good at understanding other people's emotions, and is an emotional guy himself. He is not embarrassed to show his feelings. He cries when he is sad, and is openly affectionate towards those he cares for. Even with people he is just friends with, he still expresses affection through handshakes, hugs, and other forms of touch. Max considers himself a hopeful romantic. He has an idealistic view of love, and is passionate about these views. He loves love, and enjoys romance of all sorts. Max has a lustful side to him as well. He is openly gay, and doesn't bother hiding it anymore, since he's spent too much time having to repress his sexuality already. He is often fawning over attractive men. He often makes teasing and flirty comments to other guys he finds attractive, as well as even outright touching them, even if he knows they're not gay. He just sees it as being friendly, and doesn't see any harm in it. If he is in a committed relationship, he won't do this as much if he knows it upsets the other person (at least not in front of them anyway.) He'll usually direct his behaviors towards his boyfriend instead. He truly believes in love, is driven more by his emotions than logic, and tends to act impulsively as a result. It is something he has always done. He sometimes does not think about how his actions affect others until it is too late, and winds up feeling bad about it afterwards if something goes wrong. When someone does become his friend. he gets attached to that person very easily, and can be clingy and overly dependent. He will always be in your business, will constantly call/text you, and do things for you whether you want it or not. He also doesn't take rejection very well, he'llusually deny the rejection, or come upwith excuses to avoid feeling heartbroken.
Max is very sensitive, and is willing to be a shoulder to cry on, and give you some words of encouragement when you are down. For him, hurt feelings hurt worse than a hurt body. It is very easy to get him to like you, and once he is your friend he will remain your friend for life. If there's one thing Max can't stand, it's being forced to do something he doesn't like. He can usually respect authority, but it becomes a problem when he feels that the authority is unfair. Trying to control him is the fastest way to get him upset. When he gets upset, he will lash out. Max also reacts with anger when being reminded of his abusive father. Max is the type of guy that lives in the moment, and isn't one for planning for the future, preferring to deal with things as they happen. He doesn't really like schedules or routines, finding them boring and restrictive.
Max has always been right brain dominant. It's partly the reason why he always struggled in school as a kid, and gravitates towards arts. It doesn't mean he's dumb, just that his way of thinking is different from a left brained person. Max is a creative individual. His favorite pastime is drawing and painting, and he often be found doodling in a sketch book when he has free time. He also knows how to sew and make clothes. He's not planning to be a designer or anything, he just likes making costumes, or just making things purple. In addition to his creative pursuits, he enjoys Video Games, Anime, Disney, and other things that most would consider geeky. He also has an affinity for cute things. Max doesn't care for sports that involve a ball all that much, after being forced to participate in them for so long. He's willing to play games with friends, but isn't super competitive. After spending years being scared of his father, and finally getting out of that situation, he has had enough of being concerned what other people thought about him. He is going to be himself, and if you don't like it, that's your problem not his. Max is able to empathize with others in a similar situations. He sees himself in them, and really wants to help them. This can drive some people nuts because of how overbearing he can be. He does genuinely care about people.
Max does not drink any kind of alcohol, at all. It has only caused him nothing but trouble in his life. He is also uneasy in situations where other people are drinking...
Appearance: Max is a tall and lean young man standing at 6'3". He is physically fit, and has a, toned, well muscled, physique that he enjoys showing off. At one point, his dad put him on a strict exercise program, and while he hated being forced to do it, he admits it's done wonders for his body. He still works out regularly to maintain it, just at his own pace, and not as intense. He has a fair complexion, and his face is free of blemishes and facial hair. His strawberry blonde hair looks messy, but he likes it that way, claiming that it adds character to his look. It appears to be longer on the top than it is on the sides, and it seems to go in many different directions. He doesn't wear any hair gel, since he doesn't like the feel of stiff hair. He has a round, boyish face with wide expressive eyes that are a deep shade of blue. He often has a smile on his face.
Max's choice in clothes changes with his mood. Some days, he dresses casually and wears a simple tank top and jeans. On other days, he wears fancier clothing. He does know how to sew and make clothes to suit his own tastes. He likes bright colors, but usually wears various shades of purple. His signature outfit consists of a light purple tight fitting tank top, and a dark purple cotton hoodie over it if it's cold enough. On the bottom, he wears a pair of blue jeans held up by a black belt with a metal buckle, and purple and white high top sneakers on his feet. He carries around a purple messenger bag to carry his things in.[/i]
History: Max Hudson was born and raised in New York, where he has spent most of his life. His father, Joseph "Joe" Hudson, is part of wealthy prominent family, as well as a retired athlete, while his mother, Kimberly, while not born into a wealthy family, made her own money the old fashioned way, by working hard. While Max grew up in wealth and luxury, he didn't have the best relationship with his father. Max's father was a strict man, and had high expectations for his son. He had a low tolerance for failure, and Max was disciplined harshly when the expectations were not met. His father had always wanted his boy to follow in his footsteps. He wanted his son to be an athlete like him, and act like the upper-class elite that he is. From the moment Max could walk and talk, he pushed that dream onto him. He was sent to elite private schools to study, and was encouraged (or rather forced) to join the football team. His mother didn't agree on what her husband was doing, saying Max should be able to make his own choices, but the man wouldn't have any of it. Claiming that football builds character, and would make him strong. Max hated football, but stayed with it in order to please his strict father. Over the years, he started to develop and get stronger. That still didn't change the fact that he hated what he was being forced to do something he didn't want to do for stupid reasons. He also didn't agree with his father's ideas about how a man should act. Still, he kept his mouth shut, but resentment slowly started to build.
Growing up, Max always had an interest in art. He was often doodling in his school notes when he should have been paying attention in class. While he excelled in art classes, he wasn't good in Math, and was average everywhere else. His mother encouraged his artistic talents, but his father chastised them. Claiming that art was for sissies, and that it would never do him any good. Naturally, Max was always closer to his mother than he was with his father. She was the one who told him bedtime stories as a kid, which is how his view of romantic love developed. She was also the one who encouraged his artistic goals where his father never did. His parents often disagreed on a lot of other things besides how to raise their child. It was not uncommon for the two to have very heated arguments on a regular basis.
One day, Joe came down on Max very hard for doodling on his school papers. He told him he would never make it as an artist, and that he was a disgrace to the family name. His anger got so bad, he slapped his son hard across his face. His wife returned home from work just in time to witness this. After seeing this, Kimberly decided that was the last straw for her. After a very loud argument, Max's mother filed for divorce. She got custody of her son, and they moved out of the home they shared with Joe. Max quit the football team, and spent time improving his art skills.
For some time, Max was happy. He lived a comfortable life at home with his mother. He was popular in school, and made a lot of friends due to his outgoing. He still practiced his painting, and his grades improved. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to last. When he was fourteen, his mother was involved in a serious car crash that left her severely wounded. She ultimately died from blood loss on the way to the hospital. He was forced to live with his father. Max barely had time to grieve for his mother's death. His father imposed his ideas just like before. He took away all his art supplies, and Max was disciplined much worse than before. Joe had started drinking after the divorce, and as Max found out, he was a violent, angry drunk, who would go berserk, and often yell, scream, and beat him over the slightest things. It is because of his father, that Max refuses to drink any type of alcohol.
Regardless of what was happening at home, Max still kept up a cheerful facade in front of others. He didn't dare tell anyone of his father's abuse for various ranging from thinking he won't be believed, making the situation worse. His father was very good at acting like a supportive parent in public, fueling Max's fears. Due to his resentment of his father, he tried to look for the affection he didn't get at home from others. He wanted people to like him, and tried very hard to please everyone. He constantly worried about what other people thought, and kept things secret from people that he felt would make them think negatively of him. (Such as the fact he likes cartoons like My Little Pony, or that he didn't have care to listen to the guys talking about girls. He didn't find himself interested in them.) Despite feeling miserable inside, he kept smiling through the pain. Every night he cried in his pillow, and swore he would get out of this one day.
He found any excuse he could think of to not have to come home and deal with his father, studying with friends, trying to find a job, whatever was plausible. He also did some rebellious things behind his father's back, like sneaking out after school to go to parties, and other popular hangouts. Not coming home until very late into the night. It was at one of these parties that he met a very special guy named Robert (better known as Robbie) that was close to his age. Max first laid eyes on him when he was playing his guitar, and singing for a crowd of people. Max noticed three things about him. The first thing, he had a beautiful singing voice, two he was very handsome even though he was embarrassed to be having that kind of thought at the time, and the third was that his guitar was covered in Hello Kitty stickers. After he was done performing, Max felt the urge to talk to him. The two of them started to hit it off very quickly. After Max found out they went to the same school, the two started spending a lot of time together. They had a lot of things in common, including the fact that they were both artists, although, Robbie was a musician and a poet rather than a traditional artist. It soon became clear that there relationship was more than just platonic. Max couldn't stop himself from thinking about how hot his friend was, and had feelings about him that he never felt about anyone before, let alone another guy. He found out the feeling was mutual, and started growing closer until they eventually had their first kiss.
After that, the two stared going steady. Max was excited about the status of his relationship, but also scared. He knew his father would never approve of him dating another guy. He definitely couldn't invite him over to his house. He kept his relationship a secret so his father wouldn't find out. It was exciting at first, but all the sneaking around had a negative effect on the relationship. Robbie was openly gay, but Max was still in the closet. He wanted to be able to be public with his boyfriend. Max was worried about the reaction people would have if people found out he was dating guys, particularly his dad. He occasionally would pretend to go out with girls so people wouldn't get suspicious, which upset Robbie more. Robbie gave Max an ultimatum to come out, or their relationship was over. Max couldn't do it, and Robbie left. Max was devastated.
Throughout all this, he was able to bring his grades up during his last year of high school, and managed to graduate. Now that he was an adult, Max could go to art college and pursue his passions. Max revealed these plans to his father, and of course, it did not go well. A loud argument ensued that night, which ended up with Max coming out as gay. Max's father was drunk at the time, and proceeded to punch him in the face a number of times, threaten to kill him, and use several gay slurs before passing out. After that, Max had enough, and ran away from home. He went to the only place he could think of to go, his ex-boyfriend's house. His dad had never met Robbie before, he would never know to go looking for him there. After knocking on the door, and explaining to Robbie's parents, and Robbie himself, what had happened, the family took the boy in for a while. Robbie felt bad for leaving Max after discovering the reason why he was in the closet. It didn't take very long for the two boys to rekindle their relationship. Max hadn't seen or heard from his dad since.
After he and Robbie publicly came out as a couple, he found out nearly everybody in school pretty much suspected Max wasn't straight. All of his friends were ok with it. After everything that had happened, Max stopped trying to hide parts of himself to please people. It just wasn't worth the effort. Now, he was going to live life the way he wanted, and no one was going to stop him. Max and Robbie had planned to go to attend the same college, and be roommates.
However, before they could go through with those plans, something bad happened. Robbie was involved in a fatal car accident with a drunk driver. Making the situation worse, was the fact that the drunk driver turned out to be his father, who survived the accident. It was as if that man couldn't resist making one more attempt at making his life miserable. Of course, his dad was arrested and put in prison for DUI as well as vehicular manslaughter, much to Max's relief. He also discovered that he had inherited a large sum of money from his deceased mother that his father had been keeping a secret for some time. Still, he had lost his boyfriend, in the exact same way he had lost his mother. He put off starting school, and spent a lot of nights crying alone. The sudden loss left a hole in his heart he was unable to fill. He took the next semester off to grieve, get therapy, and figure out what to do next.

Digimon: Gatomon
Nickname: Cinderella or Cindy
Personality: While Cinderella can come off as being silly and childish, she is a compassionate, nurturing Digimon. She is always there to help others, and is normally really sympathetic and empathetic with anyone who is in trouble. She cares deeply for others, and is also maternal. She sees her friends as her family and will do anything to protect them even putting herself in danger. She shares her tamer's view on love, and often flirts with male Digimon she likes. Also like her tamer, she also tends to run on emotion more than logic, and often acts rashly as a result.
Placeholder draft. I plan to expand on what's here now that I have another chance to.

Age & Birth Date: 16, born May 13, 1995
Trait: Sincerity

Quote & Personality: "I can't understand how it feels. I won't pretend to, but I also won't pretend to care or to not care. I won't pretend to accept your response to your pain. If you want something different than the world wants, then fight for it."
Attempts to describe her traditionally are generally met with failure, as she is eccentric to the point of being nearly non-understandable. The most obvious facets of her personality are her strange sense of humor and her tendency to either be extremely excitable and extroverted or extremely introverted and reflective, with seemingly no middle ground aside from her "jokes." She is incredibly intelligent and well educated; in a sense she is exactly what one would expect from the child of two highly intelligent parents, in that she is not only a prodigy in many regards, but has few social skills and many odd quirks. She has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with snakes and an equally unhealthy hatred of insects, both exacerbated by her rather severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Due to a separate disorder she does not fully experience the sensation of pain that a regular person would. That is not to say that pain is totally eliminated, rather that her body's nerves don't react as strongly to painful stimuli, resulting in her feeling less pain. This, in combination with her total lack of fear of death has resulted in several self-inflicted hospitalizations throughout her lifetime. Perhaps due to her disorder, or perhaps simply a quirk of her mind, she does not exhibit the usual reactions to injury. (Screaming, clutching the wound, etc.)
Bio: Born to a father who works for a large electronics company and a college-professor mother, Violet has never wanted for anything. Being home-schooled by her high-expectation mother, she spent her days sleeping and finding entertainment in cartoons and anime while her nights were spent cramming an entire public school education in semester sized chunks at a time. Having a nearly perfect memory made the process quick and relatively painless, leading her to develop a detached personality, as if life were just something to do for the sake of doing. Her father got her interested in anime at a young age, and it quickly became one of her regular interests. Coming from a family with money, she was able to experience nearly everything she wanted as soon as it came out, and went so far as to teach herself several languages just to be able to enjoy the more obscure (often fan-made) material and the original versions of various shows and manga. It was this fascination with that first sparked her desire to learn programming. Her dream of making true AI became so all-encompassing that she began ignoring her studies entirely despite her mother's insistence. At age 12, her mother made her a deal that she couldn't help but accept; if she could finish the rest of the schooling that her mother wanted from her in one year, her mother would use her position as a college professor to request an early taking of a GED test, allowing Violet to spend the entirety of her teenage years doing whatever she wanted. And so she consumed everything that she came across, getting not only the equivalent of a high school education, but quite a bit of a college education as well. The day after her thirteenth birthday, she completed the testing for a GED with a perfect score in four of the five categories. (Ironically, it was mathematics that wasn't up to snuff.) She's spent the months since then working under an alias as a "white hat hacker," working with companies to find weaknesses in their security for a fee in the hopes that she'll somehow find the inspiration and knowledge she needs to finally create an AI that could be considered truly "alive."

@AngelofOctober Hey. I'm tossing possible interest in here. But feel free to give to someone else. Looks like slots are actually going to fill up pretty fast. :P (I'm debating how much time I really have for roleplays. Ha ha.)
Edit:
@Landaus Five-One Oh shit. Didn't notice you were on the list too. *waves*
