Kazue's fashion sense is very Americanized due to constantly being exposed to American culture back when she lived in Japan. She ditches kimonos and Harajuku for Levi's Jeans and Ralph Lauren. She passes for an American student very well appearance wise, to speak in a general sense. Shoulder length hair, winged eyeliner, and matte lipstick are the name of her game. Unfortunately for her, that's the best thing she can do to be American right now.

- Despite her obsession with American culture, Kazue still maintains and does a lot of Japanese mannerisms such as bowing or preferring chopsticks for everything.
- Kazue rarely actually speaks English to avoid embarrassing herself with her accent. Instead, she points if she wants something.
- She spends a lot of her time watching American shows and dramas which are subtitled in Japanese, of course.

Kazue is MOST scared of being buried alive. Nothing freaks her out more than that.

Kazue was born in Tokyo, Japan to a nurse and a company president. She was the only successful pregnancy that her mother was able to have. Every pregnancy before and after Kazue came along had ended with less than desirable results. As a result, she was coddled and spoiled as a child, which included access to pretty much all the TV she wanted as a result of her parents being so busy all the time. She was raised on the television, and soon she discovered the magic of American television. First it was Spongebob, then it was onto Friends, then finally it was on Game of Thrones.
She grew up the same way most American kids did, except with dubs and subs. She was always looked at as weird or bizzare for her weird American show references. Naruto? Bleach? One Piece? Nah. Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Seinfeld. She had no shame. She was proud of who she was. She started to see America as a place she'd really like to be, and after countless begging her parents had finally decided to let her go and attend BHHS as a transfer student.
