@KuroyomihimeI don't have a problem with Atalante stat wise but she's an alter. Alters are not natural holy spirits they are beings created as perversions of the holy grail, and are unnatural which is unlikely to happen in a summoning in Black Faction's corner.

Do you realize that the Alter on her name has nothing to do with the Grail, right? That's just a title increase her desirability, since Berserker was always on of Atalanta's alternative classes.

She's not corrupted, she's just using Agrius Metamorphosis as her base form
Just give back proper read of her description and you'll see that.

Apologies if my answer sounded ride, that wasn't intention. I was just trying to say that even the article that you've looked doesn't mention Atalanta being altered by the Grail, just that she's an Alternative and that term kind of lost its meaning thanks to FGO's lack of consistency.

Actually, neither the 4th, nor the 5th HGW (i.e.: the ones of F/Z and F/SN, respectively) happened on the Apocrypha time line. They broke away from the common continuity during the the 3rd HGW when the Einzbern summoned Amakusa instead of Angra Mainyu (meaning that the Apocrypha Grail wasn't polluted) and, ultimately ended with Darnic stealing the Greater Grail, leading to the Apocrypha events while the Fuyuki HGW was destroyed forever.

Those two timelines simply can't mesh with one another.

Alright well I'm going with unlimited blade works I guess. Simpler, and easier to follow the greater grail being destroyed, or not is irregardless as long as we're not in Chaldea.

@Kuroyomihime I'm a bit wary of having an A level mage but I'll let it through if you can compromise on Counter Magic only being on touch.

Also, just to be sure, but any educated magi is still able to use the knowledge listed under general magecraft in the wiki, right? Those are just the basic principles of magecraft education. It would be really hard to do a Master that can't heal their own Servant, or even properly cast a Summon Servant ritual, after all.

@KuroyomihimeAll basic magic principles that aren't strictly put under a specific type of magic such as say resurrect dead for mook purposes, you'd need to be a dedicated necromancers, should be usable to anyone with a basic magecraft education.

Actually, I've been reading the CS tab and a few things came to my mind. The biggest being the kind of thing that raises concern regarding a GM's intentions.

Why is that there are so many restrictions to PC Servants when you are using one of the most powerful Sabers in lore? Especially considering that you used his capabilities as a justification to ban one or two other apps.

We all know that at the end of a Great HGW, the surviving Masters still have to fight a normal HGW, to claim a victor. Are just making sure that Lancelot can't lose the 2nd round of the conflict?

I mean, it's not funny to play the role of a pawn on someone else's story without even being aware of it. I just want to be sure that this isn't the case since I put a deal of effort on my characters.

1. Look at Lancelot closely. What are his skills at saber? Knight of the Lake has no canon description I turned it into bravery A because its the least impactful thing. Eternal Arms mastership does very little for him as Saber. And Knight of Owner will do him little good in a castle setting seeing as the majority of the fighting will be in open fields, and the town will be restricted in combat due to mage law. His magic resistance is good but not to much better than some sabers. Riding is irrelevant. His stats are in full display he gains a boost when wielding arondight which is his primary weapon, and beyond that he's a stronger statwise against artoria but lacks Instinct, Mana burst, and her invisible blade. Arondight can produce a beam but that can be said for more sabers, and its locked behind its oath. Enemy Saber will have similar stats without the downside of Arondight. If for some reason you insist on going down this line what do you want me to do? Replace Lancelot with Mordred? Jeanne? Some other mid tier saber? I'll do it but I fail too see the problem when assassin is our best counter to the enemy's strongest servant.

2.The ending will not result in a second mini holy grail war. The ending will be a sequential big fight which will end the roleplay off without any players fighting unnecessarily. I'm not sure what type of asshole you're pinning me for but you're seriously stepping on my toes with that accusation. Why would I make the rule where no one fights unless they want to, and advertise the rp as a PvP roleplay with some secret jackass story intending to make it into some self fanfic where Leon, and Lancelot win the grail war.

3. The heavy restrictions are in place to prevent people I don't know from power playing, and making the enemy servants, who have the handy cap of not being able to effect plot armor against the player characters unless they do something stupid, from being wiped out quickly. More over I don't know how everyone of my people roleplay fights so giving someone a big advantage at my expense as a gm to keep the story going means I'm risking the state of the rp and would need to include more gm fiats to protect characters that I shouldn't need to for the sake of story progression.

If you think that I'm just trying to make lancelot stronger than the others I can show you a post of Mordred in another roleplay getting speed blitzed, and kicked through a wall getting dazed after which Leon also gets blitz and has his hand almost crushed because Edmond Dantes was getting amp'd by an NPC Rider Prince Charming. And before that she was fighting Diarmuid who was holding his own just as he was against Artoria.

Hey, I wasn't accusing you, or trying to get you to change your picks.

I was just asking questions that are relevant considering the situation. It's fair that you as the leader have to make sure that your intentions come across clearly and reply truthfully to a question asked by a player, is it not?

The most that can happen is the players holding you to your word, if this game reaches a late stage. That shouldn't be a problem, right?
