Right, initiative order has been established on the Characters tab as per usual. As the rules are, I will require The Harbinger of Ferocity and Ryonara to decide whose character goes first since they share the initiative count. If they have not done so by the time said spot in initiative rolls around, I will do so with a coinflip. Either way, it does seem like Orchid has found himself with the opportunity to act first.

I would prefer a coin flip personally, @Hekazu, that or setting the standard of whoever has the higher Dexerity score of the two. Either way both of those are fair and should not too radically alter the approach of our hunter-knight and what he well intends to do. If these men are intent on preventing their escape and all their work, as well as having been associated and complicit with the evils of the cult we have seen so far, only one reasonable thing to do.

A houserule governing the matter is naturally possible to be set. This is simply how WotC wrote the tiebreakers to be performed, but I am fine with adding an additional layer of randomness on top of it. Now personally I prefer giving the one who rolled higher on the die the chance to act first, but that may just be me. Nonetheless, before any decision is made, I would prefer to hear from @Ryonara just as well.

Given we wish to generally keep to the rules where we can I would like, emphasize like, to go first. However, if @Ryonara so wishes to go first I will allow them to, @Hekazu. It is close enough that I am indifferent and see no real reason to be greedy with it. We are all part of the same cohesive unit as it is.

There seems to be an issue in none of us being quite sure of who is in charge of Leosin at the present moment. It was described that Torus took him on bearback, as well as Orchid keeping him company. Now, what actually happened?

Either way, it should be @Norschtalen's turn.

When it's my turn I'll try to have Parum talk her way through these sentries. Hopefully we can get through without anyone else slowing us down.

Right, it seems I am the next to move. I may have forgotten to take my battlemap source files with me when I travelled, so if you could deal a few days with me not updating the map (until I can have them sent to me via e-mail) that would be appreciated. In the meantime, I shall prepare for the majority of the cult's turn.

That can be dealt with, it certainly is a livable issue fortunately in this edition over others where that might be more difficult to contend with. No need to feel too obligated there, Theater of Mind should do well enough even if combat spills over. This should not be too organized and orchestrated a fight if it comes to blows, but there are no assurances of that!

Brannor has cut down the commander. Him moving onward from there was confirmed in private communications, and it turns out he triggers a Readied Grapple attempt as he approaches the closest Cultist from there. Please roll STR(Athletics) or DEX(Acrobatics) to avoid being grappled.

The paladin will oppose the Strength (Athletics) check with a 16, @Hekazu. A decent roll, but we shall see in due time if that is equal to success.

Right, I should start by addressing any issues I can see on @Gordian Nought's map...

Kyra has moved more than her maximum movement. I suppose the tent they wanted to enter was the bottom left one, as they have enough moves to get there.

Brannor has not taken the spot of the felled commander and one opponent has moved. None of the opponents spent any movement.

Orchid has not moved forward what they said they would do on their last round. Well, they have now moved further forward anyway, so there is that.

With those out of the way, I'll say that Orchid has triggered a Readied Action. I will be typing up a quick in between and then passing the turn on to the next one in initiative order.

The foe is cut down @The Harbinger of Ferocity.

However, we remain in initiative order for the time being. Next up would be Parum @Ryonara.

Wonderful news for us, @Hekazu, and now is the time for us to escape, hopefully with the slaves being aware enough to flee on their own accord and provide a distraction. As it is, the camp should be in chaos and none of our group is too particularly slow or far behind. Regardless, no time to waste.

It has, @Hekazu

From Judgement's point of view, which exiting path is of the least resistance?
