'Like a good member of the Alliance'. Everything about that phrase left a bad taste in Dremmick's mouth. He jerked his arm from the guard as he felt the tension start loosen, the bandages were red where the guard grabbed them, though they quickly faded back to white. He nodded a slight thanks to Eros as he was originally planning on skewering the guard's hand and going for an escape, though he could only imagine that it would be fairly tough to escape. "If you will excuse me," he said, irritation evident in his voice. He turned and walked off while Czi and Eros seemed to be exchanging 'pleasantries', leaving through another door into the same hallway. Dremmick had heard of Eros, even though he never took any interest in the man. He did however thumbed through one of his books that he found surprising in a library one time. Some of the sketches were admittedly captivating even though they were highly adult in nature, while others... still haunt him to this day.

He thought about the new tyro girl he ran into in both the hallway and the library. There was something about her that he just couldn't put his finger on, like he recognized her, though he was positive he had never seen her before. 'Maybe she was some royal in disguise,' he thought with a slight grin. It was an interesting concept, like that from a book, but hardly a reality. It could happen he supposed, though he had never heard of a royal throwing away their title and fortune to go and adventure with a bunch of misfits from across the land. His grin quickly faded as he was saw two women and a servant coming down the hall, especially when that servant pointed to him while talking to one of the women. It was then that he noticed that the one the servant was talking to was carrying a seeing orb. He let out an annoyed sigh, a faint bit of smoke escaping from his mouth as he turned and opened the door to his room, walking in. While he did ask for it, he was reluctant to start, as this would be something he wished he never had to relive, much less share with anyone. Especially someone he didn't actually know or trust. It was a risk to him, but if it answers his questions it will be well worth it.

Lynn woke up, realizing she had fallen asleep only the top half of her head above water. She looked around and noticed that Cerese wasn't in the washroom anymore. She liked Cerese, unlike a good number of the other Tearians in the escort. They seemed to think of her as a tool, a machine, but Lynn knew that there was a soul that was inside Cerese, and even though it was being used to run the machine that is her body, it should still somewhere be capable of feeling. Lynn blew bubbles in the water. She contemplated if doing this was the right decision. She didn't know many of the people in the escort, and though they were friendly enough towards her, she still felt a little alone. Back home, she had a few friends, though most of her time was taken up at the infirmary, she didn't have much time to do anything. Her head sunk under the water, now only the tip of her horn poking out. Maybe this was a bad idea. She would be leaving with a group of people that she had no idea how they were like. At least with the escort she knew that they were Tearian soldiers, now, who knows what kind of people they would be, especially with all the yelling that she heard not too long ago in another room. She curled up into a ball in the water much like how she was when she was siting outside on the crates. "What do I do now..." she thought solemnly out loud to what she thought was only herself, not knowing of Metis somewhere in the same bath.

Allard finished his pipe and stored it away with a sigh of contentment, "Its not very often I get ta enjoy that. First time in nearly eleven years I'd wager." He put the pipe back in the pouch and proceeded to get out of the water, feeling better than he ever had in years. "I may as well rest up, I would assume we are ta be put ta use in tha morn', so I may as well get a bit a shut-eye." He gathered his things, slinging the sword harness over his shoulder so the swords hung over his back as he held the belts with his left hand. Everything else he just carried tucked under his left arm as he went to the room he originally changed out of his clothes in. He opened the door and walked in, letting the door close behind him when he stepped inside. However, he froze for a moment when he noticed a young tyro woman sitting on his bed reading a book. "Oh! I am sorry lass, I must'a come into tha wrong room!" he said a bit sheepishly, especially since he was there in nothing but a wet loincloth and his ever present left arm cover. When he turned, he noticed his clothes neatly folded next to the door where he left them. "...or not... It is fine though! Tha room is yurs ta keep, I can find myself another. Sorry ta bother ya." He grabbed his clothes and started to head back out the door, admittedly a little embarrassed.

She smelled her as soon as she touched the water; a Tearian.

This one was different than the others, her scent carried many things to Metis’s position; she was a half breed. A powerful half breed.

She smelled like the one who made the water holy in the square, a creature of the All Mother, a being of life.

No sister held such power and even in the younger races it was a rare connection, one to be treasured and possed.

Rising silently the colors of her body shifting to a luminous green that give off flowing spots of light that travel from toes to belly, fingertips to breasts and from the outline of her face to lips Meti’s mind reaches out gently touching Lynn’s mind as light as fog.

The tentacles that ring her head in place of hair fan open extending 6 feet in all directions in a display of her age and size. Small for her kind her bioluminescence is brighter than what would be expected of her size a sign of greater physical and mental power than her mass would suggest.

It is a display as old as the remembered time and a ritual as old as the songs of the Singers of the Shoom, one that Metis would have never guessed in all her thoughts she’d give so far from the sea. But this is a valued bright one, a healer and worth all the pain in Metis’s life; one she knows must be guarded for it was the healers of the Tearian that begged the other bright ones to spare the Shoom and her death to protect Lynn a small price to pay

Nero Capital City

The bloody halls of the banquet room was closed off. Guards keeping people from entering even as the last of the royals sobbed over their dead loved ones who were being covered and transported. A distraught Royal cried to the chest of a Nero guard. "My son you have to find my son!" She cried. "We are searching for him now. Some have seen him go deeper into the castle with someone." The guard replied. Trying to console her with words while remaining a immovable wall even as her fair frame and tender hands pressed her chest and wet eyes against his black armored chest. "With who!?"

Anui gently rolled off of Lila. Covering her with her flowing dress. He gripped his own silk black cloth her wore as an undergarment and put it on. Standing up with his privates scarcely covered. "Whats to come will be a trial. One setup by my family and other royals no doubt. One to test your worth. They won't take my word for it." He sighed. Putting his furred coat over his shoulders. "They will be here soon Lila..."

Lila watched silently as Anui wore his clothes, covering her with her dress. She didn't knew how to react on that situation. First of all, Lila never had a 'mother' to raise her, so she didn't know how to act regarding Anui's mother. In the other hand, she wasn't a royal and wasn't accustumed in interacting with the nobility so she didn't know the etiquette and what was expected of her as a noblewoman.

Anui's eyes were gentle but his tone was serious as he talked with her. Upon hearing that they were going to be there soon, Lila realized that she was still naked, holding her dress in front of her as she looked to Anui with a confused expression. Hastily wearing herself, she looked at him again, searching for answers to that situation.

"W-what should I do...? What should I say to your... mother...?" Lila asked, worried about what could happen. What if his mother didn't approve her?

Anui looked at Lila with soft eyes and a gentle smile. "Do not worry. She is just a over worrisome hag. She will love you Lila. But she will show it in a very different way." He felt the air move, no it was the shadows. He knelt down and turned before Lila, facing the dark waters. "They're here my love." After speaking such words as if he had summoned them three heads emerged from the waters. They were three Nero elite guards standing with their shadow clad armor. "Love? Who is this girl Anui?" Asked one, but which spoke was not readable. Anui was silent, looking at them with cold eyes. "This is my bride, my life and my blood. Lila Moriarty."

Anui's words certainly made Lila a bit less nervous after she heard she would love her. Even though, she still had some doubts. Lila wasn't a noble, she wasn't created to be one... But it was Anui... He said for her to not worry. She would trust her beloved.

As Anui announced their arrival, Lila looked at her clothes again, quickly inspecting them to see if they were dirty or there was something wrong with them. Luckily, there was none other than her being without her high heels. There was no time to put them, seeing as she took a good while to put them on in the first place...

Three heads emerged from the water. Three Nero elite guards, looking at them within their shadow clad armor. It was... strange. Lila had killed many people, she saw many things, but their stares seemed to almost have a physical weight upon Lila... She had to behave herself like a proper noble. Any wrong action could give them a bad first impression...

As he presented her to them, Lila couldn't help but let out a discreet smile after hearing his words. His life and blood... His bride. She was genuinely happy. Even though she didn't want to even move while in the guards' presence or nearby Anui's mother, she allowed herself that little act of boldness as she held his hand as she looked down in a very discreet and delicate bow, imitating the other nobles she felt when she arrived in the ball. She didn't knew if it was the correct greeting or not, but a simple bow like the nobled did to each other should at least be better than doing and saying nothing.

"It's a pleasure to... meet you..." Lila said with a low voice.

The elite guards approached the two. They stood atop the waters not drenched by its darkness. They stepped before Lila and Anui, lining up side by side. "It is an honor to meet the bride of the Anui Mythue." They spoke. Kneeling down. "We humbly ask you return to the upper floors Anui. Your mother has summoned us to tell you her concern for where you are. We will inform her of your wellness and of your new bride if you wish not to return." They spoke in unison but softly as if one voice. Anui shook his head. "It's alright." He put on his black leggings and then covered himself in his ebony fur coat and closed it with its silk strings. "I suppose we should head back. Lila." He grasped her tender hands, still stained at the tips of her nails with crimson. No other would be allowed to mark his body but her. He gave her a warm smile before walking with her hand in hand to the water. He stepped on the water, the darkness on its surface solidified. The guards were before them, forming a circle in the middle of the water. Anui held Lila firmly before stepping into the circle of darkness in the middle of the guards.

Once they stepped in they would sink and emerge from whirling shadows within a hall lined with statues and lit flames to light the room. The night was falling and what little light shined into Nero from the gape above the city was now nearly all but dark. Anui and Lila were in this hall and standing at the end of it was Anui's mother. She turned, a white cloth in her hand as she wiped away her tears. She looked to see Anui and rose to her feet. "Anui!" He cried, nearly running over to him, but froze when she saw Lila. "Who.. is this?"

Lila sileltly heard as the guards spoke with Anui and herself, she was honestly a bit surprised to be treated like that by the elite guards... They said they were honored to meet her... She thought they would treat her much differently. It was a very pleasant susprise for Lila, enough to make her a bit less scared of the meeting with Anui's mother. Every second Lila spent near Anui it was clearer to her that Anui was really a noble... An existence that she thought it couldn't be more different and distant than hers and yet... There he was, looking at her with those kind eyes with that warm smile, gently grasping her hands like she was a delicate flower...

"Y-yes, we should." Lila replied after Anui said they should head back.

Leading her by her hands, Anui took her to the water. The second they stepped on it, the darkness on it's surface solidified, forming a circle surrounded by the guards. Sinking and emerging from whirling shadows, they found themselves into a big hall, lined with statues and lit by the light of flames. Near the end of this glamurous hall was Anui's mother.

Upon seeing Anui, the woman ran to him with a relieved expression. That was a... mother's love? Lila could feel how much she cared and loved Anui. But upon getting closer and seeing Lila, she froze.

At that moment, when Anui's mother asked who was she, Lila could feel her eyes analyzing her. Would it really go as Anui said? Would she approve Lila? A lot of questions passed through Lila's mind but she had no time to think about them. Every second she passed without saying anything, she could feel the woman's stare on her.

"I'm Lila Moriarty." Lila said, still thinking about that word that Anui used before. His bride. It still felt so weird for her to say that word... But was it ok? To introduce herself like that to Anui's mother?

"I-It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry for disappearing with your son like that." Lila said bowing down and apologizing. Stumbling on her own words she looked to Anui almost like if she was asking for help. She didn't knew how to talk to Anui's mother or even if she should have introduced herself like that at all... Probably she left a terrible first impression... Trying to avoid doing any more mistakes due to her ignorance regarding the social aspects and etiquette she should have when among nobles, she simply looked down.

Dextra crossed her arms. "I am pleased to meet you Lila. What business do you have with my son..?" Her foot began to tap, she was clearly distraught. Her black stone makeup smeared across her pale visage. Anui cut her with his glare. "Our business is ours mother. This is my bride. The piece I have been missing." After he said that he looked to Lila affectionately. Then returned a glare to his mother who was taken back by these news. She placed her hands on her hips now. "Bride!?" She stepped forward. Anui remained still, holding Lila's hand tighter. "I see." She said. Her eyes pupils nearly empty as if she were blind. Yet she walked with full sense, standing before Anui and looking up at her sons face. "This one. The Moriarty. We will see if she truly is a royal. The Moriarty bloodline has been wiped out by the Aion not too long ago. This is most suspicious wouldn't you say?"

As she spoke she walked slowly the opposite direction. Her back facing them. As she spoke the shadows began to move. Nero Elite guards emerged slowly with weapons drawn. "Until we can be sure of her history I cannot allow any possible harm to my son. You two will be separated." The Elites came in by numbers unknown. Their auras and sounds just whispers in the shadows yet the ones seen were real enough to command presence. Anui tensed but relented. He looked to Lila. "We will see each other again very soon. Believe in me." He caressed her cheek and gave her one final kiss before letting go of her hand and a shadow gate was opened beneath Lila's feet. "Don't fight it." He said as he stepped back. Lila would be dropped onto a bed in a bedroom. The door was made of stone and closed and the fires inside keeping the eerie items stored inside and chains hanging down visible.

Somewhere out in the world....

A group of bandits can be seen destroying a small town, their leader a rather large and intimidating Tyro.

"Aight boys! Let show the world what happens to fuckin deadbeats that don't pay their protection on time!!!" the leader exclaimed,  "KILL ALL THE MEN!!! Heheheh, the women and children have their... uses"

One of the bandits stood over a man that had been defending his wife and children. A vile smile spread across the bandit's face as he raised his blade for the finishing blow he was gonna get some action tonight.

Out of nowhere, a shadow passed over passed over the bandit, simultaneously hitting him with a powerful gust of wind. The man on the ground trembled in awe as he realized that the bandit standing over him had just been cut in half.  A hero had arrived to save the village.

The leader of the bandit crew witnessed the majority of his subordinates nigh-instantaneously suffer the same fate as the hero suddenly appeared before him.

A look of terror overtook the bandit leader's face as he stammered out a few words, ”You are more studious than I had thought.” This strange statement suddenly confused the hero, "Wha-" the hero began to respond before getting interrupted by the bandit leader lunging forward in an attempt to gut the hero.

Sidestepping the desperate attack, the hero sliced diagonally through the Tyro's head. The threat now neutralized, the hero began to slowly approach the village. Without warning, a blade suddenly sprouted from the Seraph's chest, the half headless bandits corpse leaned forward, whispering in the dying Hero's ear, "You're coming with us!"

The world around them began to spin, getting faster with

Mason awoke with a start, a book stuck to his face as he violently sat up.   He had no idea what had happened, or why there were so many people he didn't know crowding the library, with a pink-winged seraphim vouching for Dremmick over some unknown quarrel. As soon as the guards left, Mason looked around the room with a confused expression.

"The hell did Dremmick do??!?!"

Dremmick, Sophia, and Ilia collab. indented at each writer change.

Dremmick looked around the room, knowing she was headed this way. He saw two nicely upholstered chairs with a small table between the two and figured that would be a good place as any to talk. But before that, he quickly picked up any shards of wood from the dresser and tossed them under the two halves, then propped up the halves against each other so that the parts weren't sprawled out everywhere. It didn't hide the damage, but it did get it out of the way. He then moved over and waited next to one of the chairs, not yet taking a seat.

It wasn't long until the Seer was in the doorway of Dremmick. Her friend Sophia close by. The first alliance member to be paid a visit by their immensely graceful auras. She walked in slowly. "Ah. I see you've been making yourself at home here." She commented while her eyes searched around the room. "It is magnificent how the interior has yet to change in so long." She said, mostly to herself. "Now." She looked to Dremmick. "I hear you are in need of answers. Many seek answers in this world. Take solace in the fact you are one of the few who will get theirs." She held the orb in her hands, lifting it up for him to see clearly.

Dremmick nodded at the seer and extended his arm to the chairs for them to sit. "I am, if there was another way though, I would have gladly taken it." He was thinking it would just be the seer and himself, he didn't expect the other to join her, so instead he opted to stand and let the two sit. "My request is for two specific times in my memory. There were two incidents years ago, the Valswei indecent eleven years ago, where a couple were hung by a rioting mob, and the Mirindal massacre just five years after. I am trying to find out what happened and who was involved. My memories of these events are hazy, however I am hoping that being able to walk through these events that I will be able to find my answers."

"Hmm.. A terrible thing to revisit. But if you are certain." She approached him. Her dress smoothed over as she sat down with the orb in her lap. "May I see your hand." She asked. Staring at Dremmick with her youthful fair skin illuminated by the light in the orb and the bright candle flames erupting around the castle as the sun fell.

Sophia quietly heard as Ilia talked with the man in front of her.
Instead of revealing who she was, Sophia simply suppressed her aura, curiously looking at Dremmick, inspecting his reactions, the way he moved and talked. A member of the newformed alliance. Sophia didn't think that he knew how important his position was. To be a member of an alliance formed by many different kingdoms, each with it's own king and queen, with it's own goals and cultures. All of them very different from one another.

As Ilia and Dremmick continued talking, he mentioned that he wanted answers. Something about a massacre and something he called 'Valswei incident'. Unsurprisingly for those who knew exactly who Sophia was, she had no idea about those incidents. For her, everything that happened outside of the mountain regarding politics and the other descendants interacting with each other weren't things she should interfere with and as such, were deemed irrelevant.

"Some things are better to be left in the past, forgotten. Smile, child. You're still young." Sophia said, smiling kindly to the man, as she continued to carefully watch his reactions.

"You are be a member of the newformed alliance, right?" Sophia asked, her curiosity to know more about the man was clear in her tone of voice. Despite her exotic appearance, unlike any other he had seen in his life, she exuded an almost motherly air. It was almost like it was comfortable just being around her. But even though, he could still feel her eyes analyzing every reaction he made.

"Oh! I'm sorry for interrupting you. I'll wait until you both are finished." Sophia said as she saw Ilia approaching him with the orb on her lap.

"If I could find answers any other way I would have done it already. I just pray this is worth it," Dremmick said to Sophia. When she asked about being in the alliance he thought for a second. "I currently have no king, and I wish to keep it that way. I have experienced being in a group before, I can't say that i have any interest in the idea." When she apologized he shook his head and held up his hand. "It's fine....," he said as he refocused on what he was about to do. He nearly reached out with his right hand but then hesitated, holding out his left instead. He took a deep sigh, still a little nervous. "Alright... I am ready."

"The alliance I believe. Is not to command one as a knight under a king. But as a hero for us all. A truly noble path..." She slowly grasped his hand with her right. Within seconds he would feel his soul through a strange sensation. Then he would feel it expand around him and within the room. He was able to sense the auras in the room through a sixth sense. "I will guide you now." The world around Dremmick and Illia began to crumble and fade away, being replaced with a grassy forest with trees looming over outside a home. "Do you recognize this place?" She asked. Still sitting in the chair. However if he would turn around Sophia would be gone. Not coming with them to this trip. All she would see would be the two standing and sitting as they were.

Dremmick nodded, "This is my aunt and uncle's house, they made medicines here as it was rich with a variety of plant life.... Sylvia and Greymund Mirindal...." he said in a low tone. "This isn't the first stop I had in mind, or at least not on purpose anyway." They were behind the house as a loud knocking was heard at the door in the front, followed by a man yelling out in pain and a woman scream. Dremmick's eyes closed as he remembered the event very well. Soon a woman came running out with a young teenage Dremmick. At this time, Dremmick still had his horns and wings, and his tail wasn't hidden as it is now, clearly marking him as of dragon descent. She tried to get him to go on without her, but he refused and tried to help her on a horse when an arrow came flying past young Dremmick, hitting his aunt in the heart. The boy panicked and resorted to his necromancy to fight, his inability to control it had seen two men not only ripped of their life energy, but the soul itself crushed in his grasp, When the boy turned to the next few men slammed two arrows into his chest, and acting on impulse, the boy healed himself, which started the process of his cursed arm, turning. "My mind went black about here." he said, watching the events unfold. The boy seemed to go into an unyielding rage, his draconic blood going into overdrive even though he couldn't transform. Using anything at his disposal, talonned wings, teeth, and his necromancy, he tore into his attackers till none were standing, save for one straggler that was smart enough to run. The boy however succumbed to his own wounds and fell over. Time sped up and a fire that had apparently started in the house has spread. When time resumed normally the house was nearly completely burned down, young Dremmick started to stir. The current Dremmick however, was already checking the bodies for anything to identify them. For Ilia, she would see Dremmick desperately trying to revive his aunt only to spread the curse and fail, causing him to fall again. There was shouting heard in the distance as the Taxis finally reached the small secluded cabin, alerted by the smoke and tell of a necromancer attacking there from one straggler that escaped, claiming he was only visiting for medicine at the time. One large knight walked up to the boy who was clearly tainted by the evils of necromancy and shook his head, muttering to himself. He raised his broad battle axe as the young man lifted his hand, a vain attempt to stop it from coming down, chopping the boy into two in one fell swing.

"The Dolofon..." Dremmick said quietly, shaking his head as he got up from inspecting one of the dead assailants from earlier. He met back up with Ilia and looked to the Taxis warrior. "I don't blame him for what he did, arriving at such a site, I'm not sure what I would do myself. I guess it would seem right. He told me it was a sorry lot I drew, and may the afterlife be kinder to my tortured fate." he gave a wry grin and slightly chuckled solemnly. He turned as the other guards came in, in awe at the destruction before them. Though something else caught Dremmick's ear before he asked to end it.

"BY THE GODS, SHE'S MOVING!" The large man yelled. Dremmick quickly turned to see his aunt stand and grab her nephew, holding him together with her own plant magic that Dremmick never remembered her having. She was still pale as death, arrow in her chest as she picked young Dremmick up. "S...she lived!? But no... I couldn't have...", Dremmick stammered. He concentrated and used his eyes to stare at the souls of the people in the vision, surprised slightly that the vision could even emulate the souls of people. It was her, but how, it was so long ago that she had died, it didn't make any sense. She quickly ran off into the woods with Dremmick's body in tow, plants blocking the way for anyone to follow. Dremmick was stunned. It was almost too much to handle, but now he knew more than he ever did, and who exactly has been hunting him all these years, causing so much strife at every turn. He turned back to Ilia, "I'm done," he said simply.

When they exited the vision, apparently his breath had been heavy as the room was smoky, his right arm was seriously tense, and he was in a cold sweat. The multiple wounds on his body that never healed naturally were all slightly bleeding as well as the bandages on his arm and two spots where his wings had been were nearly completely turning the cloth a deep crimson. The stress of the vision and the events wore away his ever present control on his body while he was in the vision, and now that he was out he tried to regain his composure. Since he was in control of his own blood, it seemed to withdraw back into his body from where it came. He took a deep breath as he straightened himself out. and looked back up to the other two. "Thank you." he said flatly, eyes slightly aglow with either rage, sorrow, or determination, not even Dremmick was sure at the moment.

Sophia listened as Dremmick replied to her, still carefully analyzing his reactions. Whatever it was that happened in his past, whatever it was that he had forgotten, was very important to him, as it was clear by his tone of voice. Regarding his following statements, Sophia had mixed feelings about that... It was ok to follow one's own ideals and not following a king, but the way he said it made it look like he wasn't good with groups... And unity, especially within that newformed group, would be extremely important. To trust each other would prove to be fundamental for them to face the long journey ahead.

As Ilia held Dremmick's hand, Sophia simply waited. Whatever that man was going to see with Ilia was his business and his alone. Sophia had no right to interfere with that and as such, even being curious about that man, she was satisfied with simply studying his reactions outside the vision. Unfortunately, Dremmick's expression was hard to read... There were so many emotions that it was hard for Sophia to even try to say how he was feeling.

After the vision ended though, something interesting happened. Sophia had sat down in a chair, patiently waiting for both of them when suddenly, wounds all around Dremmick's body started to bleed out of nowhere. His expression, his eyes were filled with a mix of emotions. Rage, sorrow, sadness... It was hard to describe what exactly it was. Just a second later though, the big crimson spots coming from all over his body, especially two oddly shaped ones on his back, disappeared, almost like if his blood was sucked back to his body. His expression was almost blank as he visibly tried to regain his composure and hide his feelings.
Whatever he had seen on that vision was very impactful and important to him. As much as Sophia wanted to know more about the members of the alliance, in part to see who amongst them would be a better leader, it was probably a good idea to leave him with his own thoughts.

"I will understand if you don't want to talk about it but... are you ok?" Sophia asked, looking to Dremmick with a worried expression.

"I'm... alright..." Dremmick said as he looked at his right hand. He gripped it tight and his arm started to glow that eerie spectral silver color. It was the soft glow of his own soul and life energy. "It's been the Dolofon all this time," he stated, just above a whisper, shaking his head as he let go of the power, the glow fading away. He mentally kicked himself for not thinking of the Dolofon sooner, but trying to get information on them was no easy task. He had worked side by side with them a few times, knowing how they were, it should have been obvious. He looked back over to Sophia, "I'm sorry to disappoint, but however 'noble' this alliance is, I'm not sure I can go on with them. Our paths diverge too greatly and even if I went, the target that has been placed on me will do nothing but get them slaughtered.... I'm not living through that hell again." Dremmick breathed out heavily, some smoke coming from his mouth again. It was all frustrating, and he has already said too much. He would have to make himself scarce and soon. "Thank you," he said to the seer, "If you would excuse me," He said, nodding as he did for the king in a semi bow like way. He turned and opened the door to the balcony, walked out and leaned against the railing on his elbows.

Illia was silent as Dremmick took in what had happened. She could only watch as he walked to the balcony. She then got to her feet. Looking at Sophia with a worried expression. She then turned to Dremmick and approached the balcony. Standing behind Dremmick she spoke with a soft voice. "Your past is your own to bare and your choices you own to make. But as the one who has shown you your past I feel some what responsible for what path you take further on." She went on. "There is no greater ally when facing the dark than the King of light. My lord is a good King."

"With all that you have seen, all that you now know, a fraction of the darkness I've enveloped myself in... How do you know that I would be accepted here, should my true power be exposed? And how could I risk the very lives of those around me knowing full well what hunts me? Asking me that is akin to calling for me to risk their lives for something they are not even involved in." He was calm in his speech, collected. He turned to her looking for some sort of answer. It was the kind of troubles he had never shared with anyone, and with her being one of the few that knew about his past, he felt he could at least talk with her.

"Whatever happens the King will always be by the side of those who fight for truth and justice. As for whether you will find a place here that is uncertain... But this world has many places. Perhaps you can find one on your journey. Besides those who are with you in this alliance will be in quite a bit of trouble with what we are asking you all to do." She sighed. Turning to Sophia.

Sophia listened as Dremmick replied. She didn't know exactly what had happened, but something surely happened. But she choose to respect his wish to not talk about it. She curiously looked at him as he said that he wouldn't be able to be a part of the alliance, that the target that had been put on him was far too great... She silently watched as he went nodded with a small bow, going to the balcony.

Luckily, Ilia was fast to go after Dremmick, offering him comforting words. Sophia herself even considered trying to talk with him, but she was but an outsider. She had just arrived, just met that man whom she didn't even knew the name and above everything else, she felt like she didn't have the right to say anything, for her didn't know about his past or what he saw with Ilia. Even when the man said something about his true power being revealed, Sophia didn't know what to say. She even opened her mouth, but hesitated, choosing to simply stay quiet as she was naught but an observer. She wasn't directly involved like Ilia was.

When Ilia finished speaking, turning to Sophia, she looked at her with a kind smile, silently indicating her that she shouldn't worry about her and could go speak with him if she wanted to.

Dremmick was silent for a while as he weighed his options. He couldn't very well try to face the Dolofon alone, and it would seem that Vrondi's forces were working against those of the Therosi and the Dolofon as well, which if he did align himself with them it would be very advantageous. At the same time however, he would be risking everyone in his group around him to an attack by the Dolofon, should they find him again, which would be easier to be found if he was in some famed group that was put on a pedestal as an alliance of nations. This could however, help him become much stronger much faster than what he could on his own in the shadows.

After much consideration he turned to the two women, "Alright I'll join your alliance, but I do not wish to be publicized for it. I wish to keep as low a profile as possible. The less eyes on me the better, lest I want the Dolofon to be on my heels wherever I go." He was holding himself up a bit higher, like his spirits had been lifted, even if it was only just slightly. "So ask what you need to know, or what your king needs of us. For now, I, Dremmick Valswei, will be at your service."

{Lynn and Metis collab}

Lynn's eyes opened as she heard a voice quietly speak to her. She admittedly jumped a bit, when she saw Metis, her presence startling her as Lynn thought she was the only one there. Lynn stared in awe at the lights she cast out, a trait that Tearians from the deeper in the sea had where it was darker. While she had heard about it, she had never seen anything like it firsthand. "Y-You're so pretty!" she was finally able to say when she calmed down. "But please, you don't owe me any service," she started earnestly with sheepish smile, "I'm not even a royal or anything, just a commoner healer. My name is Lynn Meditrina, nice to meet you!" She sat up in the water, knees together and legs folded under her and hands together resting in her lap. "I'm sorry if I caused you any worry, I'm just....uneasy about this task. I've never left home before, and while I'm excited to see the world, I guess I'm anxious or something."

Metis sensed the surprise in the young Tearian healer and was so pleased and surprised that she saw her as….as pretty her chromatophores rippled with bands of electric blue veins that resembled lighting. Then she was almost crushed but what sounded like a refusal till Lynn followed it with the statement that she was not of the royal Tearian house and making Metis’s color patterns laugh with little rings of expanding yellow adding that she was but a common healer.

Then as Metis was considering a proper response the blessed healer offer her name saying it was “Lynn Meditrina” and how she was pleased to meet her and how her’s was an uneasy task.

Metis sent her thoughts and emotions bubbling with joy having found so caring a bright one.

Lynn's head tilted to the side in thought about how she called herself a 'low creature'. It didn't feel right, even if it was something the octo girl grew up being told. "You shouldn't speak so lowly of yourself. You are obviously very capable and should be proud of the strengths you were blessed with." Her tail started slowly swishing back and forth in the water. "Also, I would love to have you with us on the journey, having another Tearian with me makes me feel a lot better actually. I'll try to make sure you are safe as well," she said with a smile.

Metis was so pleased with the healer Lynn for her concern for her person and her assessment of her strengths though she was mildly concerned with the suggestion of pride.

She listened intently to the Tearian healer who said she was soon to journey and even considered her a Tearian.

Says Metis her mental communication as gentle as a whisper.

"Well if you are culled, how would you ever expect to become better? We can't always win every fight we come across. To fail doesn't always mean death, but sometimes it sheds a light upon where to improve. If you ever fall, I will be right there to pick you back up again, I promise. Besides, I'm not ever against running to live to fight another day," she said with a smile. "And, only if you are comfortable with it," she added, "I don't mind if you talk to me directly. I know its supposed to be some sort of rule, but it can't be easy on you to always have to use telepathy to talk. I have perfectly good ears, see?" Her happy smile still remained as she pointed to her ears as she wiggled them, reminiscent of fish flapping its fins. "I would like it if you were as comfortable around me as you would anyone else," she finished.

"Metis wishes to be of service, Metis is happy to make this offer. Metis if Metis must begs to be Lynn's bodyguard
Metis is confused but Metis is prepared, Metis is small but powerful, Metis wishes to prove her power as Breeder not Sport."

Says Metis in a sweet whispering that is in a very soothing tone.

"Metis honored Lynn wishes to hear her voice, Metis now knows Metis chooses wisely.

Metis knows flight tactic. Metis offers sight."

Metis leans closer to Lynn a perfect tone bathes the air as Metis cups her hands to hold water and not disappointed as a shimmering ball of water appears hovering there. Quickly the ball shows the gardens around them and the fountains outside of the Palace walls.

It is a scrying sphere only interrupted by powerful wards.

"Alright then, you win. If it's your choice to do so then I would be honored to have you along!" She noticed Metis dip her hands in the water and lift some out, hands cupped. Shortly after, it lifted from her hands and formed into a ball much like a seer's orb. "Oh wow! I've never actually seen this power in person before! I've only ever heard of it from time to time." She looked into the ball, taking in all the sights, especially of the garden. "It's beautiful!"

After a moment of looking at the images in the ball, Lynn had an idea. "That is an amazing ability! Here let me show you something! You may find it interesting." She waved her hand over the water in front of her and a small ball of water separated from the bath. She then touched it, letting it turn into a blue color. "I can enchant water to effect different physical and mental abilities. I can only make a few at a time, and this one here helps with concentration. Try drinking it, it should boost your magic capabilities, letting you see even farther with your scrying sphere."

Metis took the offered water but did not drink instead she took it into her palms infusing its life energy directly into the Scry Sphere causing it to expand in view which seems to hypnotize the Octo for about a minute.

Metis marvels on the clairity imparted to her scrying spell and takes advantage to remember the Gardens they are in, in fine 3D detail and even as she smiles at Lynn buoyed by the gift Metis's free thoughts begin mapping the area for attack vectors, blind spots, and natural fortification points.

Normally her thoughts would have only included her own safety but now she had to consciously add Lynn into the equation and remember her kind had bones so many squeeze points were now out.

"Metis is …... she bagan stalling at 2 words as her expression became the trope of Eureka!

"Metis honored Lynn thinks so highly of Metis

This Metis considers and discovering Metis and Lynn share same path for reasons important. Good that Lynn honor Metis Life highly; confusing Metis is finding this…..and strange but pleasant confusion Metis knows knowing Lynn."

Metis’s skin becomes an undulating color show her body rippling in indigo, turquoise, jade, and emerald as tiny spots of light outline her body. It is a display of openness among her kind because down where the sun don’t shine such a display is threat, warning, mating signal, or sign of trust.

Vrondi Guest Library

"I am curious as to why you were in such a unfortunate predicament. Such as our friend who trailed off now." He said as Dremmick closed the door behind him in a huff. Eros coolly waved his old presence off and looked to Mason who was stirring now while sitting. "I believe your friend gazed upon one of the Tearian royalties less elegant creatures. This one thought of young women as tools and made the lowest use of his slaves. I do thank that man for giving that one what he needs. Though it may put me in something of a royal feud it will be nothing money won't solve in the end." He spoke and turned his gaze to Czi when finishing up. He tilted his head up and looked down on her with an light step as he walked a few steps around her. "You have a interesting posture. Are you perhaps a practitioner of some kind?" He analyzed her with his gaze. Eros looked up though. Seeing behind the scenes of their little growing group were two Vrondi royals. To the foreign eye they simply seemed like the usual suspected people who roam the halls behind blessed walls. But Eros knew better.

Lucius briefly noticed his unique exterior. "I do believe that is Eros. I've read one of his books before. Apparently the act of love making can be a source of hidden potential." Lucius let a smirk slip as he flipped through the book before him and Ami. "The book of our history. Never have we faced such a threat in our generation. Earlier descendants battled world shaking dragons, devils from outer realms, and ghosts of old gods. What we face now is death itself it seems. So life is what we need. Perhaps with your help we can make this the generation of life." He wanted to grab her hand. But remained still, keeping the large books golden edged pages and etched wordings free of wrinkle.

"Hello young Lucius! The rare and beautiful Ami Lovegood!" Eros waved. He turned to Czi and Mason. "I know one of you are part of this Alliance. Please do come meet some of the rarest of creatures you'll ever find. I can introduce you." Eros confidently walked forward a few steps. He came before Lucius and Ami and immediately shook Lucius's hand. Lucius accepted and kept a hard stare into Eros's elegant eyes. Unwavering Eros smiled with a gentle grasp. "I don't believe we've met." Said Lucius looking up at Eros with a cold expression. Eros opened his arms. "It was quite some time ago. You both were small and one of your talents was just being realized." Eros looked to Ami. "It warms my heart to see you have grown so well. When I was a young Aion upstart I wanted to protect little Lovegood from harm the most. If Tearia did not call to me I would be a knight by your side. Much like young Lucius here." Eros tilted his head.

Lucius looked down and then up to Ami. "I apologize for not remembering you then." Lucius lowered his head and raised it back up in a slow gesture of apology. His eyes then looked at Mason and Czi. Mason notably being a seraphim like Eros. But also armored and unkempt and Czi was covered up. Neither were royalty it seemed from brief inspection. "I assume these are some of the Alliance members. Like the one you used as your muscle?" Lucius asked. Eros merely chuckled. "Ah yes. This alliance group is growing quite interesting. Unfortunately no royal has entered their ranks."

Lucius looked at Ami. Then back to Eros. "That may change.."

The Fotian continued to wonder just how she'd suddenly become wrapped up in all of the politics and intrigue circulating within Vrondi, and more currently, the castle’s library. Eros was a welcomed surprise, taking a lot of the awkwardness from the earlier situation with the guards, but it seemed he had his own reasons for being there. The hooded stranger -Dremmick?- had the right idea she supposed, to get out of the library before more happened that shouldn't involve her. It seemed this whole castle had its secrets, just like any royal estate.

The Seraphim who'd been asleep at the table awoke with a start, a book pressed against his face, which looked ridiculous enough. Czigani stifled a snicker, and at that moment, Lord Eros addressed the young girl as though he were staring at the latest choice meat at the royal market, looking her up and down. It was enough to cause the Tyro to punch the winged bastard in his beautifully ugly face, but obviously that wouldn't do much more than get her killed, or at the very least, thrown into a cell to rot. But before she even had a chance to react to his unnerving assessment of the Fotian’s physique and choice of wardrobe, his attention turned to the couple that entered earlier and greeted them in a most arrogant manner. Czigani felt very out of place at that moment, so much so in fact that she seriously hoped to slip out of the library unnoticed. But, she knew she was there for reasons beyond her own comprehension: Her mother’s wishes before their final goodbye down in the wine cellar, the letter at the door of the guest room and…

Suddenly the Tyro was put on the spot, as Eros pointed out something about an “alliance" -there’s that word again- and her possible involvement. And with that, she was for, all intents and purpose, introduced to the couple that were known as Lucius and Ami. Czigani could feel the eyes sizing her up, realizing that she probably appeared like any number of the palace servants, concubines, or lower class females. But that was precisely the idea. Without hesitation, Czi bowed her head in their direction, acknowledging them as royalty and following up with a smile. “I am pleased to meet you.”

Of course, the Fotian warrioress wasn't “pleased” with any of this. Humiliated, imprisoned, and then exiled from her homeland. It was enough to drive anyone mad with rage, but this had been her chance to fall in with a group which could potentially align their agenda with her own: A chance to liberate the suffering slave population who had been under the boots of the rich and powerful for far too long.

“I do hope that my presence within this alliance will prove useful.” She cracked a half smile as she again nodded toward Lucius and Ami.

So what happened to Bonnie after scaring off the only person to show him the slightest bit of kindness in the last decade or so? Well, if you can believe it, the little bugger had his hackles raised - more so than usual. He was scowling at every passerby, his eyes darting from figure to figure, trying to determine who would be the next to confront him. He had a knife, sure, but if someone pulled a sword on him, it would take more than his rusty old pocket knife to hold them back. Damn thing was more rust than iron.

His tummy rumbled still. One half-decent meal does not undo a lifetime of starvation, and he was loathe to steal from those like him. Satisfying his own hunger at the expense of someone else? That wasn't an option. Not if he knew it would starve them too.

But... There was someone he knew that would have plenty spares. Or rather, a group of someones. And they'd be having something to eat right about now.

But he couldn't just walk in, not dressed like he was. He needed something more substantial. He couldn't buy anything, but he might, might be able to secure a get up from someone already there.

The journey there was quick, though not because it was a short distance. Bonnie simply rushed along at breakneck pace, sidestepping, dodging, ducking and weaving around anyone who got in his way. At one point he even rolled over someone's back, and the poor sod barely felt him. Soon enough, the tall spires of the castle came into sight.

He stopped. He looked around. There was the usual detachment of guards roaming in the gloaming, but there was quite a few others with different liveries and uniforms. Even if he had been planning in going through the front door, it would be impossible with the new detachment. Fortunately, he had other ideas.

It's a good idea to build your castle on a steep cliff. Elevated position means greater sight of the area around you, solid foundation and a sheer cliff tougher than any wall. But there is one major weakness - you can't see anything down the sides. Bonnie looked down the sheer drop to the bottom of the cliff. He was gonna have to hurt himself all the way down there and all the way back up. Was it really worth the strain just for a bit of food?

He'd all but forgotten his hesitation by the time he was halfway back up.

Oh for fucks... Can't a girl just read a book without being constantly interrupted? She didn't spend all that time and effort learning literacy to NOT read! Fuck right off!

Is what Siiga would have said, if she hadn't recognised the person who so Dudley interrupted her private session. What she said instead was "GYAAAH!?"

Was that...? Yes, it was! She recognised that face! And that scar - almost lost her a fortune, that scar. It was good the old bastard was so resilient. He was pretty much a safe bet.

"Hold on a second. Aren't you..?"

What was his name again?

"Alu-card? From the arena?"

Allard stopped in his tracks when he heard Siiga ask if he was from the arena. It was inevitable, he guessed, that at the very least one of the tyro people here may recognize him from his time in the arenas. He couldn't blame her for getting his name wrong, as he was mostly called 'The Behemoth' in the arena. The fact that she had somewhat of an idea towards his name meant that she must have done some snooping on his personal life at one point, whether out of interest over recent events or for bets he wasn't sure. The scar she recognized was one in his side where there were a row of dotted scared flesh from a bite wound he received from when he had to fight a captured dragon in the arena. Everyone thought he was going to be done for, but he was able to hold on to his weapon and behead the dragon, saving his own life.

He sighed as he turned back around to reply to her. "Adelhard Baldewin is my name, but you can call me 'Allard'. I wish ta put those damned arenas far behind me, an' hopefully this is tha place ta do it." he said with a wide smile, though his grip subconsciously tightened on the belts he had slung over his shoulder, his mind drifting back to the last time he saw his daughter. "Again, I am sorry ta have interrupted ya. Guess I'll be seein' ya." His face was a bit more solemn then when he came in though he still tried to keep somewhat of a jolly demeanor to keep her from feeling uncomfortable about her question. Though him leaving so soon after she recognized him may have done that.

When he found a new and unoccupied room, he set his stuff down and got dressed saved for his boots. Then he leaned the weapons up against the wall next to the bed, their weight, especially his, a fair deterrent from anyone stealing them. Not to mention him being a light sleeper ever since he was in the arenas. He laid down on his back in the bed, not bothering to get under the covers, and rested his head in his hands, elbows up and one knee propped up. He started to think about where he would go from here. He knew his targets in general, but not who led them. though he was sure if at some point he could cause enough of a rukus that it would be easy to figure out. but it seemed that for now he needed do the bidding of this alliance first, and maybe then he could air his grievances to King Vrondi. As his mind wandered, it wasn't long before he found himself starting to fall asleep. He had to admit, this was much more comfortable a bed than he had ever slept on in his life, even if it was too small with his outstretched leg hanging off from the knee down.

Sophia couldn't help but smile after she saw Dremmick in better spirits. There were a lot of strange things with him. The cut horns, the blood and his blood magic... But Sophia wanted to respect his privacy. If he didn't want to tell her about himself, she wouldn't be the one to inquire about it.

"I'm glad that you choose to stay." Sophia said, nodding with a satisfied expression.

"Just remember, Dremmick. Yesterday is history, tomorrow, a mystery, but today... Today is a gift. That is why it's called the present, enjoy it!" Sophia said with a kind smile before she turned to Ilia.

"You don't mind if I wander around for a bit, do you? I would like to meet the other members and see the library." Sophia asked, looking to Ilia.

"Don't worry, I will be fine. You can stay here if you need to talk more with Dremmick or you can meet me at the library when you're done. Oh and don't say anything about who I really am to anyone. It wouldn't be fun if they knew." Sophia said, putting a finger over her mouth with a mischievous smile as she walked away.

After walking for a bit through the big hallways, a strange sight caught her attention. A bunch of guards walking out of a room, closing it's door behind them. Even though Sophia was still a bit far away when they closed the door, she couldn't help but to see a bit between the doors, just before the guards closed them. It was the library, finally she had found it.

"The library! Finally!" Sophia said to herself with a giggle as she walked in, not expecting that the library would be so crowded as it was.

Hearing Eros' explanation of what had happened, a slight grin formed on Mason's face.

"Sounds like some bastard got what he deserved" he mumbled.

Hearing the library door creak open, Mason turned to witness rather outlandish yet beautiful woman walk into the room. Her skin; white as snow, seemed to brim with energy, the longer the young seraphim stared at this newcomer, the more he felt a sort of.... kinship, one might say.

Blushing, he quickly peeled the book off his face and hurriedly threw it haphazardly atop his pile . Clearing his throat, Mason greeted the newcomer with a nervous chuckle, "uhh.... Hi! Wh-who might you be???"

“Rare and Beautiful Lord Eros?” said Ami her amber eyes resting on his ”You had a more clever tongue first we met” she smiles broadly stepping closer to the two males.

”I remember you when I was 10 years old and in the company of my Nanny Rashell, we met in the north garden.
I remember it because I was allowed the company of someone my age outside of Lucius and Ella. You tried to charm me even back then.

Then she locks eyes with Lucius before continuing.

”Not to be a nag my lords but it would be I think good manners to explain what it is I am getting myself into”

Sophia was honestly surprised when she realized how crowded the library was. With so many things happening such as the formation of the alliance group and the current crisis, she wasn't expecting to find many people there. Not that it was a bad thing, of course. It was recomforting to see that other people also knew how important knowledge was.

Taking a quick glance around, she noticed that it was a quite... diverse group. A seraphim noble with a exotic appearance and a bright pink hair who was talking with a sol royal wearing a finely decorated armor and having equally long and beautiful hair as the other noble but seemed to b and interestingly enough, a sol woman with bright platinum hair and a curvaceous body and a Tyro woman. Other than them, there was a seraphim that seemed to be a warrior of some type judging by his strong body. Ironically enough, the young seraphim warrior was the only one that was clearly reading. Just as he looked to him though, their eyes met. He apparently was the first one to notice her.

"I'm Sophia, pleased to meet you all." Sophia said, replying to the man who had asked her name, letting out a giggle as she saw him blushing and chuckling nervously. Such an adorable reaction. She didn't expect to see that from a warrior at all.
"Did I interrupt your nap?" She asked to the seraphim with burned wings, with a giggle. Even though he was clearly the only one reading, it was very obvious that he had fell asleep on top of the books.

"Am I interrupting something? I didn't expect the library to be so crowded..." Sophia said, as she walked past the nobles and the tyro woman, giving them discreet bow.

As she went closer though, she noticed the books that the hybrid man was reading... Books about a certain dragon temple atop the gaian mountains. A place which just happened to be where Sophia lived. It was a book about the Temple, the Great Library and Sophia herself. Upon seeing that, she couldn't help but let out a mischievous smile.

"I heard some stories about the dragon temple.." Sophia said, leaning above the table to read a bit about the books. She wondered what that book said about her. There were so few people who actually remembered who she was... And between those, even fewer who had ever seen her humanoid form. Even her own name wasn't all that known as she was mostly known just as the dragon of knowledge.

"I always thought that it was only a myth though." Sophia said, with a mischievous smile as she turned away her long braided hair almost making a spiral around her as she did so.

"Oh, pardon my rudeness... But are you all from the newformed alliance group I heard about? I was eager to meet them." Sophia said, looking to all in the room. Even though Sophia was hiding her aura, there was one thing she couldn't hide, and it was her exotic appearance. Her skin, both white as the snow and black as the night was unlike any other races' Her hair color, her horns... It was simply impossible to say from what race she was from.

As Sophia introduced herself and drew closer, Mason's blush began to deepen, becoming a fiery red, his eyes transfixed on the approaching stranger. However, as soon as the exotic woman inquired about the alliance group, the young knight jumped to his feet, "Yes!!! That would be us!" he excitedly exclaimed before giving a deep bow "Mason Drake; Aion knight, at your service my fair lady Sophia."

Lucius nodded to Czigani as she introduced herself. "I see." He said to her. Turning to Ami. "Yes lets discuss the details of what you may or may not be doing. After all a royal must be treated as such, even in the valley of death." He said plainly. Eros smiled and held back a chuckle. "I'm sorry. It is Ami here, not you Lucius that wishes to join this alliance? While I have no say in this matter I do think that is a very... bold choice. One that the King wont find appealing." Eros glanced to Sophia and Mason who were talking rather loudly in the Library. He nodded in respect to her presence before returning his gaze to Ami. "Ami is this your choice?"

”I am interested in the Alliance even if I don’t know its details; and yes I am sure my Guardian will resist my inclusion.

So I think it best for me to take a chance and say Yes it is my Choice”
said Ami with a smile looking between the two males most responsible for her current state of being.

Eros raised a curious brow. Studying Ami as she stood firmly before him in her conviction. He glanced to Lucius who was looking solemnly at the ground. "I am proud of you. To risk life and limb for others is a noble act not many royals can say they've accomplished." Eros turned to see Sophia and bowed. "I apologize for my rudeness but I must be going. I have to see someone for something rather interesting and I want to meet them before it gets too late. May the Divine will be with you all." He stepped off graciously. Heading for a particular Tyro's quarters.

Sophia couldn't help but laugh when she watched Mason's reaction. Although speaking that loudly in a library wasn't the... ideal... Mason was so adorable and his exaggerated reaction to her humanoid form were so curious that she couldn't help but to overlook that fact. Despite that, she still didn't understand why he was reacting that way. He didn't know who she really was... To him, she was but a stranger...

"Oh, please. Just Sophia is fine. 'Fair Lady' sounds like I'm some type of queen..." Sophia continued, laughing and that same mischievous smile on her face as she watched his reaction. She could feel that he was a kind and innocent man. Sophia saw no malice coming from that sweet boy. His love and thirst for knowledge were quite apparent as well, given the amount of books nearby the table he was.

But before she could even talk with the other nobles and the Tyro, one of them, more specifically the seraphim noble, the exotic looking one, turned to her, apologizing and saying he had to go.

"Gone so soon? I was hoping to know more about all the members of the alliance..." Sophia said, as the seraphim noble walked away, looking to Mason immediately after, hoping he had some information to her.

Lucius looked to Ami to see she was fine. He then turned to Sophia. "That man was Eros. A royal, not an alliance member." Lucius walked over to the shelves of books and searched their titles. He found one within sight a few meters away and to the left and harvested a book form the high shelf. A slow levitating aura surrounding the book and lowering the item delicately into his palms. It read on its title in velvet text. Book 1 The Art of Coupling by Lord Eros Lucius approached Sophia with it. "You may learn more about him through his writings than trying in person."

Mason's face turned a ghastly white as he saw the book Lucius was about to give Sophia. Such a fine lady had no business reading that sort of literature! Something had to be done!!!

Lunging forward, Mason tore the book from the Noble's hands, exclaiming,"I've been looking for this!" Before sprinting to the nearest window, jumping out of it, and flying back to his room.

Ami stood straight a smile lighting her face just before she erupted into laughter having witnessed what she had.

"How rude." Lucius said with a puzzled expression. He didn't have much else to say to Sophia as he did not know who she was. "I apologize for my own rudeness. But I must accompany this fair maiden on her travel to her quarters. Ami." He turned to her and frowned. Not amused by the antics but perhaps she was more kin to the rowdy alliance members than her blood.

"Lucius while I will not argue over your personal assessment of my being I protest the assumption of when I shall be ready to return to my rooms...... said Ami still wearing a bright smile.

"Fine." Upset over something Lucius turned to leave. His hair and attire flowing as he abruptly turned. "You're capable of making your own decisions. I bid you both farewell till the morning." He then began to approach the door opening it and disappearing behind its closing.

Just after the seraphim noble was gone, the sol noble turned to Sophia, explaining that he was Eros and he was a Royal, not an alliance member, going to the bookshelves and grabbing a book and handing it to her, saying that she could learn more about him by reading his books.

"Oh, Is he a writer? What a pleasant surprise!" Sophia said with a smile, slowly reaching to the book while reading the title.

"By Lord Eros... The Art of..." Sophia said to herself. She only had time to read the name of the author and part of the title before something quite unusual happened. Mason lunged forward, taking the book from the Sol noble's hands and exclaiming that he was looking for that book, proceeding to fly out of the window.

"Hey! W-what?" Sophia exclaimed, surprised by what had just happened. She wasn't irritated, just genuinely confused.

But the only one that seemed to be confused with what happened was Sophia. The sol noble didn't seem to be that affected by what happened, expressing only a minor reaction and the sol female erupted into laughter after what happened. Shortly after that, he apologized, saying he had to accompany the sol woman.

Sophia herself knew nothing about these two, but she could only speculate they had some kind of relationship seeing as how the noble wanted to escort her to her quarters. But much to her surprise, that assumption was almost immediately shattered as the woman spoke with a firm voice, making the noble walk away, upset.

"I... I am really confused..." Sophia said, blinking as she looked to the ones that were still in the library.
"W-well... Anyways, even though half of the people that were here previously are gone, I'm glad to know that at least there were some who choose to stay. I was almost thinking that they were running away from me." Sophia said, laughing.

"What about you? Are you a noble as well or you're also a member of the alliance, just like the Aion Knight, Dremmick?" She asked, looking to the sol woman, curious.

Ami's smile was turned on Sophia, her eyes bright and cheerful showing the young Vrondi woman's amusement
"I am Ami Lovegood Royal Ward of Vrondi, please call me Ami

Ami looks at the direction Lucius retreated briefly
"Lucius and Eros have both deserted me it seems and in some small way I am grateful they have, the males of the Royal lines are beginning their performances for my interest and eventual possession.

Am I a Noble? That is a question that is a yes but my rank not stated due to my father being unknown. I could be a daughter of Vrondi or any of the Princes of the royal court, my mother was a royal concubine her line extending into the house of Summer Moon granting me title dame…….buttt that’s all court stuff and we aren’t in court and I will be committing an infraction of the court by joining your group so lets be friends and equals.

I am a healer and my aura an anagathic effect, I wish to help your alliance with my talent, to prove I am more than window dressing.

Ami said to Sophia finishing with a playful smirk.

Sophia calmly heard what Ami said with a curious expression. When she heard the word 'concubine' her face blushed visibly for a second, before she regained her composure. Due to her incredibly white skin, it was simply impossible to even try to hide that she was blushing. Other than that, politics, or 'court stuff' as Ami said were something that Sophia wasn't all that knowledgeable about but she was happy that Ami didn't get offended by her assuming Ami was a part of the alliance. Maybe that's why the other sol noble was so upset when he left?

"A healer... A noble position. In times of uncertainty, being a healer requires strength. Both emotional, physical and mental. You are a strong woman, Ami." Sophia said, with a kind smile towards Ami.

"I'm afraid that I don't know much regarding all this 'court stuff' as you said, but I'm glad that you didn't take it as an offense when I mistook you for a member of the alliance. I wonder if the other noble... I think you called him Lucius, right? I wonder if he was that upset when he left because of what I said... Your kind sometimes complicate things far too much." Sophia said laughing.

"I wish I had more time to talk with you, but I'm afraid I still have many things to do before the ceremony that marks the beginning of the journey the Alliance group will have to go through. You are really a kind soul, with a pure heart." Sophia said, with a smile, looking to Ami.

"Our time together was short, but sweet. I hope we can meet again to talk a bit more. Maybe you can teach me the basics of how the court works?" Sophia said, laughing with a warm, kind expression.

"Oh! Are you going to the ceremony? I would like to see you there. I have quite a surprise planned for all of you. Don't miss it!" Sophia said with a mischievous smile as she walked away.

Lord Eros. The fair seraphim of Tearian royalty made his way down the halls of the many guest rooms. Tearians were filling up the rooms above. Some left their doors open and let the sounds of their pleasures spread through the halls as crying echoes of joy. In the lower more quiet halls where the alliance members rested he saw Siiga and a door closing, presumably another alliance member going in to rest for the night. "Ah I believe you are the one I am looking for. The one who had the swords drawn on her like a wild boar." He chuckled.

Oh, for the love of... Can't a girl get some privacy? It wasn't bad enough that Naked McLittledick had to barge in on her during one of the few occasions she got to study her books, but now this pillock too? Hellfire... "Whatever you're selling, I ain't buying" She muttered, without looking up from the pages of her spellbook.

"Do I look like a salesman? Please." He said with humor in his tone. "The King asked for me to help you in your experimentation. I believe it was specifically stated that you wanted a 'penis'" He said while looking to ceiling. Remaining nonchalant to the ridiculous conversation they were having.

Oh. Thats what he was here for.

WAIT, WHAT!?

The king had taken her seriously, apparently. Confusing crossed her face for all of a moment before she got to grips with what exactly was happening. By the look on his face, the newcomer didn't know how to take it either. Siiga grinned. Perfect~

"Oh, yeah, that. Well, you know, sometimes a girl wants a dick..."

"Perhaps. But achieving something like this is note worthy. I must study your conditions through out the process." He rubbed his chin in thought. "You will need to see me when you are free and it isn't so damn late. Here's a way to contact me." He handed her a palm sized orb. It was black and smooth yet its center hand a blue crystal reflecting within it. "This is a messenger orb, a fancy Tearian one. Try not to lose it. It may come in handy."

Siiga looked at Eros in confusion. "Thanks, I guess..?" Did it really require so much work? She thought it would just need a spell or a potion, not all this. Certainly not a study. What, was he taking it off a corpse or something?

Vrondi City

The mornings light set upon the castle of Vrondi. It glowed with a brilliant aura from its pure solid white high above the lower city of pride and wealth. It was only a few hours within the lights early rise. Yet many crowded before the main gates of the castle. Trumpets were sounding as the members of the alliance walked in line and stood with backs turned to the crowd and their faces turned to each King and Queen who sat before them. All but one individual stood and it was the King of this land. His bright aura contained a fixation on his person as he presented the diverse warriors and healers to the people both rich and poor who stood in the crowd with various applause.

It was mandatory each sign their names on papers which indicated their will to be a part of this group. They all were told to stand proudly with their new or old equipment on. Vrondi raised a hand to weaken the applause. He then motioned for Ami to come before them. She stood before them all with her own gifted attire. She was mounted on a great white steed. Its flowing mythical hairs moved like the breeze as it stood tall above the group and the onlooking crowd. Only the Kings and Queens lined up in their seats were above them all. Each one looking at the assorted group with natural expressions. Observing this team for the first time.

"This is the beginning of a new age. One that has already taken many sacrifices to obtain. What we have before us now is a unified force for all descendants. Ones here to protect our and their own way of life. They are you, the common and the rich. The high and low bloods all stand together. The lands may have been poisoned and decayed but with the will of the Divine's will we will replenish the soil and the lands. A treasured child of this kingdom has nobly come forth with her desire to restore the lands with her gift. The alliance will aid her in this. To every villager and nomad out beyond the walls most affected by the battles that took place I say to you help is on the way!" As his glowing form spoke the fires around the stage began to light up. Changing colors as it continued to burn. Red, Blue, Green, White, Then led by black smoke as it was put out.

It was now time. With their steeds they would ride out with applause coming form all districts of the city as they made their way to the east gate. The guards will let them through without issue and a path was clear for them to cross far down even to a bridge over a river. However long the path was though it ended within the jungle. Beaten paths still kept travel clear for the meek but only one led to a certain destination. A wooden sign pointing towards the locations that each path led. North East was Fotia their given destination. They had with them a simple yet strong ox which carried a wagon full of hay for their horses and other essentials for travel.

Their true motive though not spoken was all the more immediate. They would travel to Fotia and go beyond the mountain to its east where the Wyverns have been seen. There they will find the entrance to ancient ruins where they will be find deep within... The Divine smith's hammer. Once its location is confirmed the group can send a message to Fotia's capital city through one of its towns or whatever means available. It will be claimed by the Fotians to keep it safe. That will be all for their first mission.

Czigani -

A clever male horse that has quite the jump and agility when moving at its top speeds.

Ami -

A Unicorn that is wise and fairly old. Yet its blood flows eternally. It can regenerate its wounds over time. It never runs out of stamina. Its horn is a magical conduit and can cast purification spells on water and heal others of their wounds and purify them of poisons.

Lynn -
A strong horse with feathers in its hair. It has the ability to climb rocky mountain like terrain and has decent speed. However its stamina is only at its highest when in high altitudes.

Metis -
A wagon powered by steam to allow it to travel for a decent distance. However it is not ideal for travel for long distances and is light weight enough to be carried by horse.

Siiga -
A horse that has great speed and stamina. However it is a bit wild and reckless and can easily be injured.

Vrondi Jungle

After about twenty minutes inside the jungle the air would begin to fill with a horrid stench. It was only a matter of time before their eyes or noses would find the decaying and poisoned tree with flesh coated across its surface and hanging from the limbs. Something was strewn about this tree and not just one thing. The tree was dying and its decay was spreading to others. These atrocious signs of Nuxta's mark on the lands were known as Dark Effigies. Symbols of a likeness unknown to nature's Divine will. A tree of death others would begin to call them. Many consider burning them. But the risk to the rest of the forest is great.

The antithesis of a Unicorn, a Bicorn birthed from chaos incarnate, young but extremely sturdy; blood flowing within it's veins strengthened from those unlucky enough to be gored by it's sharpened horn. A monument to the sin of magics delving into blood and darkness, can utilize the blood of one being to recuperate another.

Along the pathway of the Vrondian Jungle, it would begin to seem more and more like an intoxicating swamp than a peaceful area for overgrowth in flora. Garrett eyed the canopy of the jungle trees, a hunter must first use the resources available to them. A hunting bird was a great companion to have in order to root out dangers that may lurk within immediate to wide-spanning areas adjacent to the individual. Of course, he could not see much above the trees, but the Hawk known as Sera still remained vigilant overhead; Garrett hoped so at least. That would put his mind at ease seeing as the bird was serving it's purpose.

Garrett was not at ease, however, as delving into the jungle just made the stench of a Blight grow as the retinue progressed. He would quickly make his way to the forefront of the party's convoy atop his steed, Acrid. In his attempt to stop the team to focus their attention toward the current matter at hand; not necessarily important for their mission, but a pressing matter in the wake of danger. Raising an armored hand to point at the Blighted Nuxtan tree whilst the other remained tight on the reigns controlling Acrid. It was a disgusting sight, flesh not attached to it's living host, rather attached to a dying tree, a very archaic symbol to discord and death.

He raised his voice to call out to the retinue to gauge them to feel the same way he did about the current situation.

"Hold!"

Of course he would continue once attention spans were reached by his words.

"Corruption. It's toying with nature as we speak. We've got two options you lot. Ignore this and pass this by, or deal with this Apostasy of nature. This is a sign from a poseur to the incarnation of death. Close to the capital yet devoid from the watchful eyes. Danger."

His field of view did not leave the tree and the extent of it's Blighting powers. He knew a decision would have to be made that was near unanimous within the retinue, but that did not keep himself from the unease of this obelisk of Nuxta. In fact, he was very uneasy, to the point where his sole grip on the reigns for Acrid were resolute.

Mason Drake

@Rai@Jollan@Verticus@Brithwyr@Dread

After an eventful night in the library, Mason was ecstatic to find a chest full of new gear awaiting him in his room when he returned. What was awaiting him inside the chest, filled his heart with joy; his very own set of Official Aion Knight light armor as well as a new sword that hummed with power at the young Seraph's touch.  However, due to the combination of overexcitement and fatigue, the poor boy passed out before he could try anything on.

As dawn began to break, Mason finally stirred from his slumber, his eyes still heavy with sleep.  Slowly, he began to equip his new armor, admiring each ornately decorated piece as he put it on.

As the alliance was getting sent out, Mason noticed that there appeared to be many new faces amoung the group, many of whom he did not recognise, including a peculiar octopus-like individual riding in a steam-powered carriage.

Traveling deep into the Vrondi jungle, a vile stench began to permeate the air, assaulting Mason's senses. At first he thought it would pass, but as the party trudged forward, the air seemed to only thicken with decay.  Before long, a vile effigy; the source of this putrid presence, sat before the group. As Sir Blight ordered everyone to hold up, Mason hopped down from Lulu's back, approaching the repulsive thing.
"I got this, stand back everyone..."

Drawing his new blade, Mason's wings burst into golden flame, equally golden energy leaking from the boy's eyes.  As the golden flames from his wings began to form on his sword, he plunged the blade directly into the ground, continuing to channel his energy through it.  Around the base of the tree formed a geyser of the golden flame, which Mason continued to maintain until the object of decay had been reduced to ash.

The fire fading as Mason pulled his sword from the ground, it could be seen that his wings had been horribly burned in the process of destroying the tree.  Grimacing in pain and sheathing his blade, the young seraph re- mounted his steed without a word, hoping that doing so would make the others think he was cool.

Dremmick admittedly hesitated when it came to signing his name as a member of the Alliance, opting to only write his first name and not his last. He was back in his leathers and Taxis bark armor. Hood and muffler up and in place, keeping his face either covered or hidden in its shadow. There were a number of new faces, but their numbers were still few. He noticed a particular girl that the king mentioned that they would be guiding around. She was told to have some gift that could heal the land. Whether he meant that literally of metaphorically, Dremmick was yet to see.

It wasn't that long of a wait either. Not long after riding into the woods around Vrondi, a caustic stench seemed to permeate the air. When they arrived to its source, Dremmick couldn't help but be curious, as this was unlike anything he had encountered before. He rode up to the front, but dismounted his horse before getting to close so that it could stay a safe distance away, just in case.

“Corruption. It's toying with nature as we speak. We've got two options you lot. Ignore this and pass this by, or deal with this Apostasy of nature. This is a sign from a poseur to the incarnation of death. Close to the capital yet devoid from the watchful eyes. Danger.”"

Dremmick moved forward, passing Garret and Ami to get a closer look. From under his hood, his eyes started to glow yellow and spectral wisps of energy came from them as he started to look to see any life energy of souls in the festering scar in the land. It was completely empty. Not an ounce of life energy save for the maggots and other insects. Even the foliage was devoid of the smallest scrap of life. His eyes faded to their normal hazel color before he turned around. ”I'm not sure what exactly is causing this, but the whole area is barren of any life.” He took another look around as he tried to figure the whole thing out. It was a grotesque sight, unsure of what creatures, or people, all the flesh was from, though it was obvious it was more than one. Was this some even more twisted form of blood magic? Before Dremmick could dwell on it further and formulate any sort of answer for Garret, Mason came in.

"I got this, stand back everyone..."

Dremmick's eyes shot over to Mason, ”Wait, Mason! Don't-,” but it was too late. The whole thing erupted in golden flames until it was burnt away, Mason's fire completely dissipating as he withdrew his attack, however, the fires it caused still seemed to burn. ”Dammit, Mason!” he cursed as he looked up at the black smoke and spreading fire. ”Besides the threat of burning the whole forest down, burning a diseased tree can potentially make the disease airborne and infect a larger number of plants in the area. And who knows what that thing had in it.” Dremmick went over to one of the fallen branches from the tree. He pulled a knife out and cut off a small piece of a twig and took out a small glass vial from his back pouch, placing it in and sealing it so nothing could contaminate it or vice versa. ”I'll keep this to take a look at this later, or have someone else do it. Either way, this need to be studied more before we go destroying every one we see. Speaking of which, we need to keep this fire from spreading any further.”

It was showtime and Lynn had that feeling in her gut again, wondering if this was the right decision. She signed her name, was a bit shy during the parade when they left, but she was able to calm down a bit once they were away from the castle. Lynn was so far seeming to enjoy the ride. She sat sidesaddle on Feather as he pulled the cart so she could guide him when needed, though he mostly seemed to follow the rest of the group fairly well. Every now and again lynn would fly off on her staff to look at something or bring back some interesting plant to show Metis, who she seemed to stay the closest to. It was an amazing adventure already for her as she saw one new thing after another. Eventually however, she started to smell something odd in the air.

The party arrived to the large grotesque tree shortly after, and Lynn's happy demeanor seemed to fade. Unlike the hooded man's curiosity, Lynn wanted no part of the disgusting tree, the very sight made Lynn feel a bit queasy. While she had seen and was able to deal with plenty of horrid injuries in her time, a whole tree filled and covered in flesh was nauseating. It didn't take long however for a young seraph, that she later learned was named 'Mason' as the hooded man yelled, ignited the tree in a spectacular golden fire. It seemed to spook some of the horses a bit but not enough to make them rear up or run. Lynn consoled her horse by petting the side of its neck and cooing at it, ”It's okay, don't worry,” She said softly in its ear. She noticed that some of the burning branches had caught others on fire. ”The other trees! I can help!”

She picked up her staff, which was mounted on the side of the horse, and used it to take flight, sitting up sidesaddle on it as well like usual. She undid the stopper on the water jar hanging behind her lower back, using the water rune inside to summon water and direct it onto the fires, and a small stream to her mouth, breathing the water instead of the tainted smoky air around her. While controlling the water would prove to be easy, summoning this much water proved to be taxing. It wasn't something she was used to doing and it tapped directly into her magic energy to summon it. She had to be wise with how she used it, so instead of spraying the fire down, she moved a large water bubble onto the fires, putting them out and then moving it to the next fire using the same water bubble. Each fire met the water with a good bit of steam, and wore down the water bubble's size slightly, but it still got the job done fairly efficiently. Once it was done, the bubble of water was blackened and she let it fall to the ground away from the group, and closed her jar. She slowly floated back over to her the carriage and sat next to Metis. It wasn't moving around the water that was strenuous, it was summoning that amount of water that she wasn't used to. She was a little tired as she relaxed in the chair. ”Summoning that much water was a bit tougher than I thought.” she said with a worn out smile and slight chuckle.

Allard was proud to sign his name on the list, though he admittedly had a hard time with the small writing utencil provided to do it. Not afraid to sign either as the slavers never asked for his name to begin with. He felt like this was a great new start for him, although he knew he couldn't escape his past or the vows he made, this felt like a step in the right direction. He was easily noticeable compared to the rest of the group as he towered over them. Also, unlike the others, he wasn't riding a horse as there wasn't one large enough for him. As it was, even when riding horses some of them were even or still a bit shorter than him. He stayed close to the ox, making sure it went the right way when needed, or simply holding the reins as he walked with it. There was one girl he could have swore he recognized, though she seemed to stay covered up with a hood, like that other fellow. He guessed it was none of his business to pry and kept walking with the group, every now and then whistling a jolly tune.

When the group arrived to the tree, Allard couldn't do much but watch the event unfold. It as a ghastly sight, for certain, though the group seemed to deal with it well enough. Truth be told, Allard thought that burning the tainted tree seemed like great way to deal with it, even if they had to put out a few fires afterwards. If the burned tree could spread the disease, however, that could end up being a problem. And what if the disease had an effect on people as well? They had been smelling this rot for a while now, which would mean that in essence that they were breathing in particles from this tree. He looked over to the one that the king introduced to the group as a 'healer of lands'. Wondering if it was literal, he went ahead came forward to ask Ami. “Young lass, there wouldn't be any chance that yur able ta remedy tha land itself from this creepin' evil taint, is there?”

With the burning of the dark effigy a fire was set alight. It burned with a terrible stench that climbed the sky in the form of black smoke. Its burning branches fell near its healthy kin. Though affected slightly by its brethren's decay due to proximity. The safe proximity that threatened to start a kindle on their fresh fruit baring branches.

The group successfully put out the flames. Water dripping from the branches and mist forming into rainbow light when hitting the beams piercing the tree tops. The ash of the tree was black and mushy once hit by the water. The surrounding smell was more toxic than before now. The burnt flesh now fused with decayed wood ash and mud. It was grotesque. Bubbles forming and popping around its mass. The black mud slowly spread around the ground. Hissing as it touched fresh grass and tree bark. Birds and insects left in droves as the stench spread further.

Ami had been having trouble all morning her mount unfamiliar to her and she to it, he was being affected by her healing aura enhancing his stamina thus making him a stud in his prime. It wasn’t as if she didn’t have her ways of dealing with such issues but to have a mount for such a journey that she had little skill...where Ami’s thoughts as she first became aware of the troubled tree.

The others had already committed attacks at the poor possessed tree when the one she’d heard called Allard walked up to her as she gazed aghast at the revealing violence.

“Young lass, there wouldn't be any chance that yur able ta remedy tha land itself from this creepin' evil taint, is there?” he asked snapping her from her shock.

”Oh, sorry” she says her face flushing with color

”I can try” she says as her wings erupt the flames without heat and intangible are made of Holy Light….”The Light of Vrondi”

Mosses near her become lush and inviting the trees bloom or fruit. When she swings her leg over to one side of her saddle she dismounts not by stepping down but is carried up with a single silent stroked of her glittering wings.

Then a rare song, a song only heard in holy ritual comes from Ami as she pushes her blood talent into her spell of Holy Light adding to the blessing of light. The veil between the worlds is burned by the source of life back into hiding to await the dark before able to return.
As she sings Ami touches down the tip of a toe striking a puddle of water her purification granting it holy nature as she creates a Warding Barrier Circle anchored by a nine pointed star circle flown in an invoking pattern.

Ami lands on the primary, the anchor point and begins to feed the spell with her life force unafraid, without hesitation. Patterns of golden light form complex circles that rotate like the cogs of a ghostly machine causing the ley line to be drawn over the corrupted place by forming a sort of lighting rod effect the shadow princess serving as the fuse.

The banishing takes a lot out of Ami as she pulled no stops to end the source of corruption with all her effort. (She used a Sledge hammer to kill a mouse)

The Vrondi Jungle

“Really?” The Fotian mumbled under her breath, while slowing her mount to a stop as the others did. “A tree?...” She continued, but this time the words overlaid with agitation at the thought.

We journeyed through the muck and mire of the thick Vrondi jungle to inspect trees? Czigani shook her head, recalling earlier in the day when she’d been brought into the Alliance -the “fellowship" as one of the royals had even put it- for whatever reasons they had. Even then the Tyro warrior questioned what good she could even be in whatever private war the ruling council had been waging. She didn’t need to be involved, nor was she all interested in becoming a pawn. But, as more information was given about the journey and tasks as hand, it was abundant that Czigani was in fact placed at just the right time. And despite whatever feelings she secretly harbored against the idea, her homeland, Fotia, had been the groups destination for the first leg of the mission.

K’eita Lysirus The Fotian girl signed under an alias, but of course she has to, if any records were being kept at all. The name itself? Just a close childhood friend who long passed from a terrible bone disease when they were still in their early adolescence. While they shared many interests, they both differed, as K’eita was a fighter, not with sword or fist, but with words. A true diplomat, and something Czigani admired in her late friend. Perhaps her name would still carry on in another capacity.

At the sudden protest from one of the group members, Czigani stirred out of her reverie, and noticed that one of the knights -Mason was it?- took it upon himself to set fire to the diseased tree, quickly rendering it to ashes. The Tyro warrioress cracked a smile, mentally applauding his boldness, while simultaneously feeling relieved that they could possibly move on. She tugged at the collar of her relatively new armor, gifted to her by the King of Vrondi prior to their departure. In addition, she was fashioned with a new rapier and parrying dagger, both of which had the resistance needed to withstand extreme heat and damage.

Jaku, the ebony horse gifted to her during the journey, had become quite skittish in the area, clearly the evil permeating that part of the jungle brought and uneasiness within its grasp. Removing the leather glove from her hand, Czigani stroked the stallion’s strong neck, bringing a bit of comfort to an otherwise agitated animal.

“Stand firm, boy.” She leaned in to whisper. “For there are far worse entities out there…”

Garrett sat atop his steed as he encountered a Fotian roller-coaster of activity within the group. The tree was annihilated through fire, but that just made the toxins airborne and easily spreadable, the water just made the blight seep into the mud and spread further beyond it's current reaches, and the purification spell seemed more suited for the likes of a global catastrophe rather than a sole tree used as a chaotic effigy. He sighed at this development within the party. He waved them to continue on their path onward through the forest.

"Let's move!"

In the consideration of the party's overtly anticlimactic response to the tree in terms of the powers they used to utterly destroy it Garrett knew they would either have to continue to show this type of force throughout their escapade, or tire themselves out and burn out on the side of the road at some point ahead on their journey. The latter seemed most likely. Garrett spurred the side of Acrid signalling the time to move onward. Garrett took a deep breath of the renewed smell of a fresh and clean forest. The one good upside is he didn't need to breathe through his teeth anymore. He stared at the path and the surrounding area adjacent to it, being the point-man of the formation he needed to be the most aware of where they were heading and what surrounded them, be it danger or not.

Soon after going forward the group would come across a crossroads. One that led to the left was towards the north east, going directly to Fotia. Another led to the east to Gaia. Another led to the South east to Tearia.

Garrett stopped the group once again with a wave of his arm to analyze the signs in order to guide the retinue in the proper direction to continue their journey. The team needed to head to Fotia if he recalled correctly from the lush sendoff at Vrondi.

"Take note of the signs, we may be coming here many times on our venture."

After gaining the bearings of a true sense of direction, he would start the group off with another wave, his own steed moving in kind, detouring towards the leftward path to Fotia. Despite any preconceived dealings within the group, the Fotian path was the most straightforward route to the mountain range past the area. Regardless, any complaints, claims, or quarrels can be had on the way to the city and detours will be made accordingly.
