"You should really learn when to quit." Renji laughed as the two he knocked down approached him, "I'm dropping you guys like flies!" With a tight spin, he stepped fluidly over to the pair of goblins and laughed a flurry of blows into one of their chest before spinning again and letting the back of his fist connect with the other's face. He continued the spin, widening the movement so he turned neatly to the side of the goblins as he launched another flurry of blows into them.
"I think I may need that dagger after all. To be safe you know?" just as soon as the danger seemed over two more kobolds came rushing towards the pair. Magi attempted to dodge the couple, aiming at the legs of the closest Kobold and blasting it with a burst of electricity in the Hope's to either make it trip or kill it all together.Soon after his first shot Magi attempted to get in between the second Kobold and Misha, pressing his palm against the Kobolds sternum and allowing his magic to flow through him and into the chest cavity of the Kobold. "Just die already."

Klou sputtered a cough as she fell to the floor, trying to pull in as much air as she could. Blearily, her gaze wandered up to the retreating skeleton, then past it to see May clutching her dagger.
"No!" she coughed, pushing herself to her feet and steadying herself. She wouldn't let this thing hurt anybody else, not while she still lived. Taking a moment to orient herself, Klou backed up a few paces, then crouched down and coiled her legs, pushing forward and up as she leaped into the air. Raising both fists above her head, she brought them down together on the already weakened skull of her foe, aiming to completely shatter it with one blow. She put all of her strength into the hit, not thinking of defense or even landing afterward. If she didn't end it here, it was almost certain she wouldn't get another chance like this. Sending her heart out in a wordless prayer to Isis, she closed her eyes at the moment of impact and let herself fall.

Perfect... and then there was one.
Noctis thought to himself as his second green-fleshed assailant disintegrated, leaving not more than another gleaming nugget of his victory. This was it, he was really doing it! He'd never felt more alive than he had now, and the completion of his first victory was at hand. Just one more Goblin and his first battle would be won. Not to mention that the monster was still under the effects of Doom Call, in essence, Noctis had already won.
Flashing a grin back to the still observing Winter Maiden before turning towards the last foe of this batch, before darting towards it and exclaiming. "Checkmate!" The werewolf swung both of his blades across the monster's chest before bringing them down just above the goblin's collarbones on either side of its bright green head.

May quickly struck the skeleton several times in the head, the dagger making a rather poor bashing weapon compared to the other options... The futility of the slashing weapon made her regret only bringing a single weapon with her. After the second or third hit, the skeleton's screaming rose in volume, and cracks rapidly began to splinter from the center. She would have even seen the chip fall from the skull, had the skeleton not knocked her feet away in a single hit.
The blow landed May on the ground prone, and the air in her lungs was completely gone, leaving her gasping for air as she rose to her feet. The skeleton itself was slowly dragging itself towards her, in the same unbecoming speed that it had when it approached the pair earlier. May held her dagger in front of her, her attempting to assert some sort of defense against the skeleton's surprising strength.
Until Klou immediately attempted to bash the creature's skull in, her fists smashing into the skeleton's skull with heavy force
The tactic worked well in Kurvia's favor. The weakened state of the goblins meant they could not get within the arc of the katana as Kurvia moved, making them short work of them. A sharp snapping resounded through the halls as Amrec cracked his knuckles, the normally pale skin drenched now in splashes of red. Casually he walked back to his axes and yanked them from their dirt sheathe and made his way back over to Kurviva with a smile on his face "I'm suprised you simply want to be a supporter Kurvia. With the skills I have seen, you would make it just fine as an adventurer." He seemed almost proud in his tone of voice
"Well then, there are more monsters just waiting to get a taste of our blades. We shouldn't keep'em waiting, eh?" He spoke eagerly as he patted Kurvia's shoulder then took the lead once more down the lit up stone halls of the dungeon. It appeared as though the first day in the dungeon would go off without a hitch. The small pouch that had started out empty was now filling up with monster stones, at this rate it would fill up before long

The bright sun struck your eyes as you left the dungeon alongside Amrec, the bag used to hold the stones filled to the brim. With Amrec at the helm, nothing you came across posed any threat. You are virtually unharmed save for few scratches which no longer bled. Amrec seemed pretty happy as you made it into the courtyard "Hah! That sure was a good little bit of exercise." For how easily he took care of the level 1 monsters, he never once broke a sweat. A hard pat struck your back as Amrec congratulated you "You did well lass! I see some great potential in ya!" The scene around was a little different from earlier as adventurers exited out of the dungeon in mass and others walked in to replace them. "Now, let's turn these in. Afterwards, I'll treat you to a meal at the Tilted Orc. Sounds good, doesn't it?" He laughed heartily
The pair of goblins responded only with screeches, seemingly ignorant of the beating they were being given. This time Renji's strikes were too much for their bodies to handle and at last they fell to join the other stones that littered the ground now. To your left Mare and Misha were finishing up with a pair of kobolds, but it seemed like this fight was over.
Lighting shot out from your hand and struck the first kobold, annihilating its leg causing it to smash head first into the ground and skid a few feet towards you. Misha finished it off by piercing its hide with her spear, though her movements seemed far more sluggish than before. You managed to catch the other Kobold in time before it reached Misha. A sharp pain spread across your right shoulder as the kobold dug its claws in before disintegrating from your spell. Blood trickled down your arm but at last your were victorious.
The three of you continued to take down monsters in the dungeon together after Misha gave the dagger to Mare. Mare's magic, Misha's skill with a spear, and Renji's striking power made easy work of any challenge. However, the two of you began to notice that with each battle Misha seemed to slow down more and more. After gathering plenty of stones for the three of you, you finally left the dungeon. Misha at this point was using her spear to balance "We did so well together! I can't wait to trade these in and go get fo-" Before she could finish, she collapsed on the ground, the spear falling besides her.
The skeleton lumbered forward and released an unearthly screech only a twisted creature such as itself could. A tainted spear raised ready to strike just as Klou brought down everything she had on the Skeleton's skull, its slow speed making it an easy target. Shards of white bone shot from the monster's skull and with the hard hit so did the stone. The bones of the skeleton first crumbled into a small mass before turning into dust along with the deadly spear it held. Along with the stone were two arm bones, a drop from this particular monstrosity. Skeletons like this are hardly found alone, so it was lucky this one appeared to have been separated from its pack.

The two of you worked together from that point on throughout the dungeon and did not encounter anything more than goblins and kobolds in the rest of your battles. After a successful run through the first floor, your bags were nearly filled with stones. With a hefty first haul, you both head back up to the surface back to the courtyard in which you first saw each other. Now the option was left to accompany each other the guild house to cash these stones in or go your separate ways. Isis would likely be eager to hear how her two new adventures did.
A small smile shown on Priscilla's lips as you turned briefly back to her. The effects of Doom Call seemed to be wearing off just as you made your move, but it was too late for the goblin. It fell without giving too much of a fight back, now nothing remained of your targets except for the stones that they dropped. Soft footsteps behind was your first indication the Winter Maiden had closed in "You handled your first fight quite well. It seems like you may have enjoyed yourself too." A soft giggle escaped her at the last sentence "Now, collect the stones and let's move on. I wish to see how you fight a few more times.."

After a few battles with kobolds and goblins, the Winter Maiden left you to delve deep into the dungeon where you could not yet follow. However, she left you with the acknowledgement that your skills had impressed her. It was not too long that you were able to fill your pouch with stones and thus moved back to the surface to receive your first reward. The sun was bright as you exited the Dungeon, many other first time adventures seemed to be celebrating their first day in the dungeon as well.
Out of the corner of your eye, sitting against the fountain in the center, was another Anubis member called Selene. She had only been an adventurer for a month at this point, so she was still pretty new herself. The features of a weretiger were pretty obvious, the color of her fur a gorgeous white on her ears and tail. Sharp blue eyes like sapphires were looking lazily to the sky, her right arm propped on her right knee as she sat on the ground. It was clear she just left the dungeon by the traces of sweat on her skin and the exhaustion expressed in her face.
Her eyes brightened up when she managed to take down the two injured goblins without getting hurt herself. She was getting better at this. Though her mind did wander to any other first time adventurers out there. Her thoughts were snapped when Amrec commented on how she only wanted to be a supporter despite having the skills to be an adventurer. She let out a nervous laugh. "I... think I should train more before I try delving in by myself." Of course, Via had her reasons aside from that. She didn't exactly want to actually go alone and being a supporter meant she'd be lagging behind another person. "But I think I'll change to an adventurer once I get more experience."
Via nodded and followed Amrec as they delved further into the dungeon. It had been relatively easier than before once she got the hang of it. It was fun! Really, it was! Aside from the dangers of death looming over you, it was actually rather nice to be fighting these monsters and getting something in return. It was... addicting. She could really get used to this, but then again, she was already stuck in this. Via wasn't planning on quitting any time soon.
When they filled up the pouch, they had proceeded out and she followed Amrec. She took off her hat and then began fanning herself. That was tiring, but she had a grin on her face. "Ha, exercise." Well, she guessed that for a Level 3 adventurer, that was nothing more than child's play. "Thanks Amrec. I'll be sure to train more from now on." She replied with a grin, not very bothered by his hard pat on the back. She placed her hat back on her head as the two of them headed back to their family's house.
She then stretched her arms as they walked. "The Tilted Orc sounds great~" She said. Via wasn't a cheap person and would have simply wanted to just go there later, but since Amrec was offering, she planned on taking it up with him. "Do you think Kagu-Tsuchi would allow me to play supporter for members of other families?" She questioned. Not that she was happy to be with her own family, she just wondered what it would be like to be with other competitors. It wasn't like she would suddenly betray them.
Renji panted as they called it a day and did his victory dance excitedly. "We crushed this floor!" He shouted, jumping up and down excitedly. He nudged Mare with his shoulder and beamed at the pair he had been coupled with. "Pretty sure I killed more than you though, slacker!" He teased. His first day in the dungeon had been as exciting as he imagined for all those years and now that he had made it through, he was filled with the determination to go even further. And he'd made some friends on the way! Maybe they'd be willing to go into the dungeon together again tomorrow. He was just about to ask when he heard a thud and a clatter. Confused, he looked around and paled at the sight of Misha sprawled out on the ground. He flew to her side immediately. "Shit, Mare what family are you again?" He asked, already picking the unconscious girl up.
"Poseidon. We aren't to far from my household. Let's get moving quick." worry was plastered all over Magis face as he hurried towards his family's house. "By the way Renji, you may of beaten more monsters but that's only because I took on the big ones for you." Magi turned his face to look at Renji, sticking out his tongue
"Transcend mine mortal limitations and cast me hurtling forward, O Turbulent Wind!" Renji felt the familiar flood of magic wrap around him and he step lightened. He adjusted his grip on Misha. "Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess. Now grab her weapon and lets get moving." He bolted off towards the Poseidon family house.
The group arrived at a large marble mansion with ornate wooden doors. The handles were made of gold leafed metals in the shape of trident's. Columns surrounded the building in a magnificent display. Upon opening the door they are met with a vast open room, large marble hippocampus statues stood on either side of the set of stairs that led up to higher floors. These statues spewed water from their mouths, filling large baths pooled at the ends. Down the center of the stairs was a large blue fabric draped all the way down and held in place by several golden bars. The trim on the tops of the mansion had carvings of Poseidon and his many deeds done as a god, telling his story.
Renji stumbled through the ornate doors with little attention to its details. He panted, out of breath after darting through the crowds and around stalls. If he pushed a few people along the way, he wasn't going to say anything. He was carrying an unconscious girl after all. "Hello? I need help, please!" He yelled as he slid to a halt. He was freaking out. He was worried beyond belief. Was there something in the dungeon they hadn't noticed? Poison, a trap? Shit, was this his fault for not paying attention?
An elven woman appeared with hair kissed by the sun. She wore a blue dress that draped on her much like a toga would, began held together by a gold emblem with a trident on it. "Hey Calaise, Misha needs to be healed up. She may have over did it this time..." regret washed over Magi as he watched Calaise take Misha away from them to a pool in which they tended to heal. He began to blame himself for not watching her as closely as he should've been. " Don't worry shes in good hands now. The waters here have a bit of a healing property much like how spas are known to contain healing properties. Calaise is a regular healer here in Poseidons temple and if shes working on Misha it shouldnt be too long before she wakes. I promised her some potatoe snacks when we left the dungeon, hows about we pick them up for her so that she can wake up to a warm snack?"
Renji nodded. "We should probably wait for her to wake up before we go get our Valis huh? How long does this take usually?" Renji shot Misha a worried look before heading out, deciding to put it out of his mind for now. "Also, let's wait til she wakes up for the snacks. She'd probably like them fresh after you know, nearly dying and all that." He paused and blanched. "I should probably check in with my Goddess actually. She was real fussy before I left so I'mma hop on over. I can meet you at the tilted irc in a bit for dinner though. Bring Misha if she's up so we can get our Valis!" He waved goodbye and bolted to his family's house.

The skeleton himself fell quickly, decaying into the same black matter as the rest of the dungeon's inhabitants as Klou delivered the killing blow. The skeleton dropped three items - a crystal, similar to the ones that the goblins had previously dropped, albeit significantly larger, and two arm bones. Leaving the division of loot to Klou, the pair chatted temporarily, before they continued throughout the dungeon.
By the time they left, the pair were laden with bagfuls of crystals, which May was positively beaming over. This much was sure to afford a decent meal! If she had some left over, she could even start saving some in case she got sick and couldn't go into the dungeon. May quickly glanced at Klou, before deciding to head straight to the guildhouse. It had been a long day, and the faster she cashed in the crystals and had her status updated, the faster she could get home and spend time with Mom and Dad. If Klou came, she would probably make decent company.
Klou was too busy counting her crystals to really make good talk either way.
Laughter from a group of playing kids nearby delayed Amrec response, the streets were coming more alive as the sun rose higher in the sky "For an extra fee, of course!" He joked before replying seriously "I don't see it being an issue, other familias usually employ our blacksmiths on expeditions. You would have to talk to the captain or Kagu-Tsuchi himself to get permission however." The two of you were on your way to the Guild Hall, to quickly turn in your magic stones for the day.
The two of you spot Shihon as you enter the illustrious and open lobby of the Guild Hall at the magic stone exchange counter. He is youthful in appearance but is rather mature otherwise "I see you've completed your first day Kurvia...and look at that full bag of magic stones! Here, let me trade those in for you." He takes the bag underneath the metal bars above the counter. It is clear that as your personal guild advisor, he seems rather happy. Soon he returns with a similar bag filled with valis along with the original bag "Looks like you made quite a good haul. Your magic stones were worth 30,000 valis. Normally you'd need a five-person party of level 1 adventuers to earn that much but it looks Amrec here was enough." He smiled upon sliding the money back through.
Amrec took the bag with a grin "Kurvia here more than earned her share." A proud laugh left him as the two of you went outside. He turned towards you holding out a hand "Here, give me your bag.." After receiving it, he would count the valis with surprising speed. When he finished, it was clear he had some more that Kurvia but it looked to be almost a third of the money "This 10,000 Valis is all yours. You definitely earned it." He stated with a smile. The amount was quite a lot for a first time adventurer, let alone a supporter.
With Misha left in the care of Mare and his familia, you maneuver through the streets and alleys of Rezion with ease until you reach your familia's house after trading in your share of the stones. The total amount came to 10,000 valis, an impressive first day and one the goddess would likely give praise for. It wasn't as large as the Anubis or Athena mansions, but it was a beautiful home. Vines with white flower splashed with pink stretched across the white fence that surrounded its perimeter. The building itself was a work of art itself, with engraved stone lining the edges and heroic-looking statues appearing to hold up the entrance. A large garden was located in the back, including a hot spring, that was Aphrodite's favorite part of the house. After not finding her in the house, you decide to check there.
Flowers of different kinds and colors formed an almost maze-like puzzle, but you we able to find her rather easily. The goddess sat on the edge of the natural hot-spring, soaking her feet in the soothing water. Her body filled out a short white dress completely, allowing her silky black hair and striking golden eyes to stand out "Renji? Oh you made it home!" She turned her head as you approached, pulling her legs up from the water. Without warning, she pratically tackled you at the chest and immediately began fixing your hair "I just knew you were going to be mess. Honestly the dungeon is so filthy sometimes..." Her deft fingers moving in and out of your hair as she spoke with ferocity "So, please tell me about how it went." Her voice changed instantly to that of a caring mother as she stood on her toes.
You decide to trade in your share of the magic stones while Misha got treated, hoping that she would be awake by the time you got back. The amount you received was 10,000 Valis, a great haul for just three adventures on their first day. Just as you were finished collecting the money, a familiar voice called out to you "Mare!"
She quickly bounces over, looking excited to see you "You're still alive! I'm so glad!" Her name is Aki Tsunoko, a recent addition to staff of guild advisors with Mare and Misha being the first adventurers put under her care. The tone of voice sounds more like she is surprised than worried "Tell me how your first time went! You don't look too hurt. Um, where is Misha?" She asked appearing a bit confused. From your first impression, she tends to get excitable when in actuality she is worried.
Inside the Guild Hall there were a few other adventures, some trading in their magic stone like May was and some seeking advice from the Guild Advisors. It was the job of the Guild Advisors to collect information about the dungeon and exchange it with adventurers under their care. You trade your magic stones at the exchange counter, a black-haired girl leaving with a stout red-haired dwarf leaving as you came up to it. The elven boy smiles softly as you hand him your magic stones and examines them before putting them away and filling a bag with valis "You must've had a good day to get this much magic stones. Here is your Valis, 10,000 in total." He says sliding the bag through the slot in the metal bars that stretch across the counter.
Off to your side, you spot a striking person with a lovely blue skin. He seems to be speaking with a guild advisor. Regardless, you have your reward for the work you put in today and can go back to your familia's household with pride. A day such as that would surely boost your stats up a bit!
Your speed allowed you to reach the Guild Hall before May and trade in your magic stones. Adventures seem to be in a constant flow in and out of the building. That is when you spot the captain of your familia, a Chientrope by the name of Arissa , carrying a large package leaving the building. She has also been your mentor since they took you in, training you how to fight and in many way acting like a pseudo-parent. Her knowledge of potions and alchemy is beyond anyone besides the goddess herself. Rumors have been circulating that she is close to perfecting a new serum with some saying it can even revive those who fall in the dungeon.
Whatever she is carrying seems to be quite important as she doesn't seem to notice you, appearing to move with extra care. Isis would be expecting you to return with news of your success as soon as possible and hopefully you would soon before other adventurers of the familia took up her time updating their falna.
You are just outside the Guild Hall when you see Priscilla leaving out its front doors. She must have left the dungeon sometime before you did, probably having finished what she came there for. Her movement as you noticed, seem to be less precise than in the dungeon but only just. Despite the fact you are standing well within her field of vision, she doesn't seem to see you. However, as you get close to the doors she turns your way "Ah Noctics, I didn't notice you. How did the rest of your time go?" She asks.
You notice that there a few cuts in the arms of her clothing, as well as healed wounds underneath the white fabric. Wherever she was, there must have been some powerful monsters down there.

The Guild Hall was filled with far more adventurers than May had initially expected - she knew it was a place that was constantly brimming with activity, but not to the point where people would be flooding it this late in the day. Dozens of Guild advisors littered the hall, and most of the adventurers were either talking among each other, with their guild advisors, or exchanging stones. May quickly followed suit, making her way to the nearest teller, a younger elf boy. He quickly weighed the stones, examining several before putting the stones away and handing May the appropriate amount of Valis - a staggering quantity, more than she had ever held in her life at one time.
May only needed 300 for her and her families food, every day, leaving a large chunk of savings - which she was already thinking of ways to hide with no one getting to it. The bag was held in an iron tight grip, and May resigned to head straight home and then to her familia to update her stats. The thought of mentioning the skeleton to one of the guild advisors crossed May's mind, but there was no point in doing so - it had done no real harm, and she was alright in the end.
The trip home was uneventful - her mother and father were asleep, seemingly gone to bed without eating. May dropped off the Valis, and then left just as quickly and quietly, promising to make them a larger than normal breakfast in the morning. She made her way to her familia, eager to update her stats and see the progress she made today - perhaps she even might see Klou on the way there!
