Cause I too am working on a post. But I can just adapt if your post doesn't fundamentally change the entire fight.

I'm going to set up this splinter cell and go into what motivates them and introduce their leader based on the version from the YJ cartoon.

Hey, @Omega Man and @Afro Samurai, might I offer a suggestion.
In order to avoid confusion, maybe we shouldn't refer to the top leader as King Kobra. Knight is already fighting a "King Kobra", and now it's been revealed that King Kobra's leader is called King Kobra. What's gonna happen if our heroes loose sight of both of them? And then suddenly King Kobra shows up again ... but which one?
Might I suggest we refer to the top chief as something else? Maybe all the generals are kings and their leader is "Emperor Kobra", "The God Kobra" or something like that? They have had other leaders through time, I think.

It's all in the adjectives and what I used for visual reference in the post. You mentioned the guy Knight was fighting looking more scaly and larger than the others, and mentioned him having claws. So I found images of the Cult's brutes and used them there. I don't think you mentioned anything about the clothes any of them were wearing so I went ahead and clarified there are currently three types of snake men. The average one's clad in green, the orange guys who're generals, and then a few of those 7 ft tall brutes that look more like dinosaurs.

And the version of King Kobra that leads them is basically the one from the YJ cartoon. Knight could've simply just been calling the big guy she was facing the wrong name. Not the first time that's happened to a hero after all. You could have him actually tell Knight his name before their battle is over and give him some cool sounding tribal style name like Torad or Aliff.

Side Note: I almost went with an image of Serpentor from GI Joe, but rather than that I just had Robotman reference the show by calling King Kobra 'Cobra Commander'.

Well, I already had the first King Kobra react to that name, as if it was his name she made fun of instead of making any attempt at correcting her. Then I described him several times as King Kobra in two separate posts.
And hey, you are the GM, and your words goes. It would just have been a lot easier to make me change the name 4 days ago, when I made the first post. Instead another King Kobra was introduced into the mix with no further explanation and no way to differentiate them unless you described the physical differences.
I'm generally all for editing, just not a fan of going back and retconning. That was why I originally wanted to wait until you had set the stage, before I made a post. I wanted to have an idea of what to expect so I didn't set something up that you would then fundamentally change afterwards.

I can come up with a different name if it's a big deal or you just don't have a lot of time to go back and edit a couple words. Did you not know 'King Kobra' was the actual name of their leader though? I posted visual reference for the minions in both green and orange and just didn't figure somebody would actually wanna go straight for the big bad.

My work schedule prevents me from doing much Tues-Fri most weeks but we've been working a lot of Mondays the last few weeks as well. May go ahead and let anyone who's been posting begin developing secondaries.

No, I had absolutely no knowledge of the cult of Kobra before this. Zero. I found out later the actual leader was called King Kobra. Or maybe I heard it and forgot, and then my subconscious wanted him to be called that (since I did watch a clip on Youtube in order to prepare.). Who knows.
I'll name my "King Kobra" something else, since yours' probably closer to the comic books anyway (and had I known about him, I might have named my King something else).

In case you did notice on beforehand that I already had a King Kobra in the story, and simply brushed over that fact in your post then: Please, I'm humbly asking that you just pm me next time. Just write me as soon as you discover it and ask me to change it, and I will. No problem. I feel it would really be easier than this (where we either have 2 character with the same name. Or one has to go back and change more than one post.)
That been said, I think it's great we've kick this rp off, and I can't wait to see where it goes.

I didn't plan to go strait for the leader, but I did accidentally name the current commander the same name as the top leader from the comics. Didn't plan to fight the guy either, but with my second post I was like: Hmmm why not.
And alright, I can see now that I kinda missed the small description, where you address that the first King wasn't the true one. And having had a bit of time to reflect, I can see this was mostly just a case of bad luck. It's not like I can't accept you making a few tweaks to our posts and what we describe in them. And it's not like I feel you should stay away from doing similar stuff in the future. It was just this particular kind of retcon that didn't sit well with me. Especially when I thought you hardly noticed there had been another character named King Kobra before that.

We could always use SB to wrap up the titans boss just saying

before I Kitty it up lol jk
