@Lmpkio

But what is your definition of heresy?

*Takes a shot*

Hyperion: Admiral Algorithm, it is said that heresy is like a tree. It's roots lie in darkness while it's leaves wave in the sun. You can prune away its branches, even cut the tree to the ground but it will grow again, ever stronger. Such is the nature of heresy and why it is so difficult to destroy. Some may question my right to purify a world of ten billion souls, but those who truly understand realize I have no right to let them suffer. No sacrifice is too great; no treachery too small.

*Takes two shots*

<Snipped quote by ReusableSword>

Yes that is true, but lest we not forget that one of the Gods, AKA Sommler, is literally making entire villages disappear as well.

We'll see if Hyperion can get something out of him. Otherwise, in the word's of Kai, "DESTROY WHAT WE CANNOT UNDERSTAND!"

<Snipped quote by Lmpkio>

I implore you to be very careful, Anu does not take kindly to siblings who meddle in her affairs. Though I am curious what you will come up with.

And Hyperion doesn't take kindly to citizens who meddle with heresy.

*Takes another shot*

Anu is heresy.

*Takes another shot*

Her demons, heresy.

*Another one*

Devilry is the highest form of heresy.

*And another*

And thus must she be either purified or purged. The choice is her's.

*Take a shot for every time the word "heresy/heretic/heretical" in mentioned in this post*

Ah, Hyperion.

Another god Iva isn't going to like.

I'm fairly certain Hyperion isn't going to like them either, once some of their more heinous experiments come to light. Humans make for great test subjects. Even more so when they're willing.

So far, Hyperion only respects Iva due to his vast knowledge, he is still keeping a VERY good eye on her sanity (as stated within his relationship quote). But he's also very hopeful of humanity's potential to rise too, provided they are guided into his divine religion and that he doesn't get corrupted on his ambitions and aspirations.

@Legion02 - Apologies for the delayed response. As far as details regarding such an event goes I'll be holding onto a fair few of them until the event transpires. When the event transpires how the gods respond is largely up to their respective players.

Speaking of which I have come up with an idea for this introduction to the mechanics behind the birth of a Divine Cord. Hopefully it should serve as an insightful introduction of events to come. It may strike as a tad close to Oao's territory in terms of theme and locations but other gods are certainly welcome to participate. I simply set it up in a manner that ensures I won't be stuck with unnecessary baggage in the scenario that
no one investigates it.

Hey, I'm going to retcon the existence of a magical item. "The Mortal Guise", a magical cloak that allows a god to take on the form of a mortal creature (sentient or non-sentient). Gammaton would have commissioned it from Iarus. Let me know if this is not something you can condone.

@Stern Algorithm I don't have a problem with you using something that Iarus would have commissioned, like the post said though it comes with a price that he will exact later lol

Part of me wants Hyperion to investigate it... but then there's also Anu's demons going about.

Either way, he's most likely going to investigate, considering its in the realm of his nemesis.

The only reason I have not been posting is that I do not have a lot to do right now, but if nothing happens to do with Ferron, I will do some world-building stuff in my next post.

Although Gammaton isn't the type to leave a debt hanging, he'd probably try to pay upon acquiring it, or establish the maximum extent such a later payment would have. If there's anything you would retroactively like Gammton to have paid for the cloak, let me know. Perhaps I can share the knowledge Gammaton intends to use to bargain with Iva'Krorh.

This is a question for the players as a whole, has anyone other than Ferron @Leotamer created any of the classic fantasy creatures i.e. elves, halflings and the sort?

@Archangel89 - Aside from dragons and Ferron's dwarves I've seen no mention of other fantasy races created as of yet.

Cool...as bad as it sounds I have 2 more races that I'm working on all of which seem to fall on the lawful-chaotic evil side of the spectrum, spider-people and ratfolk lol as well I had plans to "persuade" elves to join me in being "evil"

I realize now that I spend a great deal of time thinking about stuff and creatures to add to Iarus' menagerie of sneaky things

Pfft, not really bad.

I still have a buncha' good ol' lovecraft proxies in the works, and some things more uniquely tailored to this setting. Probably gonna get to work on something similar to a nightgaunt soon.

yeah I was also thinking of filling the world with rare/legendary/leviathan kind of creatures. not too many of course and some would need help from other gods. just something Naswaru may regret making and setting free into the world.
