Age

Rank
A-Rank
Physique
A stout yet muscular lizardman standing at 5'10" (1.8 Meters Tall), Dreadlin is more on the smaller side when compared to his kin. However, he's significantly stronger and much more durable then an actual human. His scales provide him with admirable protection against the elements and physical trauma, with his tall spikes acting as additional protection against arial threats. His claws on both his hands and feet can also unleash a great deal of damage if they connect to an attack.
His guild mark is located on his left shoulder.
Personality
Most of the lizardmen in Togesu village are rather antisocial and live solitarily from the outside world. Dreadlin, on the other hand, happens to have the opposite mindset. He's an open and cheerful lad who, while has major pride when regarding his kind, he also has an interest for mankind. Having been confined within his village, he'd always been curious about what lied beyond the dense jungles. Always seeking for adventure, Dreadlin loves to go on long expeditions just to see what the world will present him. He's very sociable towards the other guild mates and loves to chat up a storm. He often talks about his adventures or even stories regarding his village and their mythologies. When alone, he can be just fine in simply sunbathing, adventuring, fishing, or even fighting other monsters in the deep wilderness. Of course, he also finds time to visit his village at least twice a year if not more to check up on his friends and family.
At the same time, Dreadlin knows quite well that he is an outcast in a world that's unfamiliar and unforgiving. When he encounters racism regarding his own, he often tries to simply ignore it or calmly tell them to stop. Of course, if it reaches an unbearable boiling point, he wouldn't hesitate to bash their heads in to simply make them stop. Regardless, he is hopeful that one day the two species can live side-by-side in peaceful harmony instead of living apart from one another.

Brief Bio
Dreadlin Nauss was born to a lizardman tribe, known as Togesu Village, within the depths of the Eastern Jungles. He belonged to an ancient species of lizardmen who had been living in the same jungles for thousands of years, living out of sight from human interaction. It was a quiet and reserved location, hanging just next to a large jungle lake where they both fed and bathed in peace. They had little trust towards mankind, with some of their own having seen hostile persons deforest the outer portions of their beloved forest. This made them incredibly hostile towards mankind and killed any human being who dared to set foot within a mile radius of their home.
Dreadlin was one of the many lizardmen sheltered from the outside world, alongside his older brother Mylriak, as he was forced to stay within the forest boundaries. He was forbidden to go outside the forest under any circumstances, with the village elders telling stories of others leaving but never returning, as well as the scourge of mankind themselves. After all, he and his brother was blessed with an incredible power that only a selected bloodline of lizardmen could ever had. He had the power of the "Beast Soul", passed down via blood through generation to generation. He, along with Mylriak, were the village guardians, who defended the village from giant scaly monsters that threatened to destroy it. Yet for every monster they've slain, they've gained their soul essence and acquired them into themselves, allowing them to turn parts of or even their entire body into said monster. The two brothers created a powerful force to be reckoned with and proved to be too valuable to leave. This made the concept of leaving all the more forbidden for them.
However, this didn't stop the adventurous Dreadlin, who'd always been itching to explore what was beyond the forest. When he was a mere teenager, he braved through miles of woodland hills to get to the boarder of the jungle woodland. When he emerged, he saw a vast open plain stretching as far as the eye could see, revealing many possibilities at what could be out there. But before he could attempt to go further, a person saw the lizardman and ran away in fight, forcing Dreadlin to head back to the village.
Several decades later, a more matured Dreadlin chose to leave the confines of the forest and set out into the outside world alone. He told the village about his plans, yet never wishes to forget his heritage. He claims that he'll visit them at least once every year to check up on them. Mylrak was heavily disappointed his brother moving out of the safety of their village, yet he was forced to respect his ideals. After all, he was now the sole guardian of Togesu village and he'll do anything to uphold it's safety. The others also weren't happy for him leaving, but they too were forced to accept his request.
Dreadlin scoured the land for many years in his never ending adventure, having encountered both the major ups and down of mankind. He realized how mankind isn't as bad as his village claims they all are, while also recognizing that they aren't all truly innocent. Either way, he attempted to help as many people as he could for their benefit and had made several close friends down the line. Many welcomed his odd, yet charming, personality, while a good portion did not. Yet all of this eventually lead him to the Dragon Heart guild, where he could live his life as an official member of society with a group of friends to boot.

The Mage
Magic
"Beast Soul"
While Dreadlin's Beast Soul allows for him to transform into any monster he defeats in battle for an extended period of time, while gaining their elemental powers and abilities, as well as their weaknesses. He is capable of mimicking their move sets with near perfect accuracy and transform his limbs into various parts of the respected monster.
- Lizard Monster: Dreadlin's default Beast Soul is a giant lizard monster. Standing at 9 feet tall, it's rather small and fairly weak compared to some of his other forms, not even having a base element. However, this monster is fast and surprisingly agile, being able to climb up flat walls and even run on water. It's gut is enormous, allowing it to swallow creatures up to the size of a cow in one gulp.
- Fire Monster: Dreadlin's Fire Monster form allows him to wield the fire element, using his mouth to fire balls and beams of fire at his opponent, causing an explosion upon impact. His tail is as sharp as a blade and it can be sharpened not just to produce a cleaner cut, but it can also heat up to the point where it can cut straight through metal (although it takes roughly six scrapes on a rock to accomplish this). It is weak to water-based attacks.
- Water Monster: Dreadlin's Water Monster form allows him to wield the water element, using his mouth to fire high-pressured water beams at his opponent. While it's decently agile on land, the monster truly shines when underwater as it can swim through the water with relative ease. It is weak to ice-based attacks.
- Earth Monster: Dreadlin's Earth Monster form allows him to wield the earth element, using brute strength of his armored head to lift huge chunks of rock into the air or cause earthquakes. While it's a smaller monster compared to most of the others, he is decently mobile creature and also very sturdy, being able to take much punishment and burrow quickly into the ground below him. He can bathe in mud to release mud balls at his opponents, which can harden quickly to slowly lock them in place. It's weak to water-based attacks.
- Ice Monster: Dreadlin's Ice Monster form allows him to wield the ice element, allowing him to use his mouth to fire a freezing beam or to chomp up hard rocks and ice flow. Alongside his Fire Monster form, it's the largest creature currently in Deadlin's possession. It's large spines on the top of his back allow it to break through ice flows while underground and while mostly on the slow and sluggish side, it can go for sudden bursts of agility if needed. It's also known to jump for great distances. It's weak to fire-based attacks.
- Lightning Monster: Dreadlin's Lightning Monster form allows him to wield the lightning element, allowing it to charge up static-electricity in its fur and unleash it alongside multiple melee attacks. This creature is extremely fast and agile, infamous for it's acrobatic skill by issuing tail flips and is even known to glide using membranes attached to its limbs like a flying squirrel. If it charges enough electricity, whether naturally through its body or by someone charging him up with the lightning element, it can go into an enraged form where it's much faster and the attacks are more powerful thanks to said element. It's weak to earth-based attacks.
Items
- Village Amulet: Given to him personally by the lizard elder, in which he's granted as an eternal guardian and representative of Togesu Village.
- Monster Trophies: In his hut, Dreadlin has a collection of parts he's collected from the monsters he's defeated.
- Snacks: On missions, Dreadlin often brings a pack of berries and jerky meat with him as a light snack on the go.
- Toothy Necklace: Dreadlin wears a necklace of his own teeth that he had lost within the span of twenty years. He believes it brings him good luck.
Miscellaneous
Mylriak Nauss: Older brother (85) who works as Togesu Village's guardian and smithy. He has a rather harsh outlook on life and does not trust mankind, yet is undyingly loyal to his village and its culture.
