"Golden Age Collectibles in Pike Place? Alright... We can meet you there... And I'll let my brother know about that last bit you just said..." she said, turning to glance at her brother who was just staring at her, watching this entire conversation from the one end of the phone. It probably was bugging him, that much she could easily tell as she repeated the last part that Scott had said about kids.

"Seriously? I am not a kid! I'm an adult damn it!" Jason said instantly, glaring slightly still. He was starting to hate Scott even more than before, but he was kind of glad that the guy stuck to something, and glad that it meant his sister was probably perfectly safe if the guy ever got pissed off enough to start firing into a crowd or whatever.

Janelle shook her head, before turning her attention back to her conversation with Scott, "We'll meet you there then, see you in a little bit Scott," she said as she hung up the phone and turned to her brother. "Come on, we're going to Pike Place. That comic shop there, you remember the place I'm guessing?" she said, as she put her phone away and grabbed her cane.

"Alright fine... But just for the record, I still don't trust this guy, I mean we don't know much about him, so why should we just walk in blindly? But it is better than sitting around here doing nothing but wait for the serial killer to kill us or something, so let's go," he replied, grabbing his coat and handing Janelle hers as they headed out the door, heading for Pike Place Market.

@rivaan "Well i'll buy a book of yours whenever you get it published or something." She said giving a bit of a smile as she leaned back in the seat and looked out of the window and sighed for a little bit and ran a hand through her hair. Then she looked back over towards Claire when she asked where she was from. "Erie, Pennsylvania originally." The woman answered as the traffic started to clear up now and then Claire would be able to get to her precinct with ease. There was an underground garage where Claire would be able to park her car under where all of the other officer's cars were located as well. "I guess I should give you my number or something if something comes up?" She asked smiling slightly.

@FantasyChic In the taxie Quinn got into the driver was an elderly looking man who was in his early sixties by the looks of it. "Hey there miss." He said as he started to put in the address that Quinn had requested and quickly started to pull away from the curve, the drive was going to be a bit then the man started to speak up. "So you visiting a family member or a friend?" He asked, he seemed to be a pretty friendly man for the most part as he drove stopping by a red light before they were driving along Central Park now. Quinn may recognize two people from the dreams as he drove by.

@BlueSky44 Pike's Place wasn't that far about a fifteen minute walk or so from where they lived right now as they left the house there was a man walking his dog down the sidewalk, he turned to look at the two kids and gave them a slight nod as he walked by down the street. There wasn't anyone else there right now and Trevor wasn't seen either and left to go somewhere else it seemed.

@Morose Scott's apartment was fairly quiet, after Janelle had hung up on them there was a knock on the door and when he opened it was Trevor after he had just spoken to the siblings he was leaning his back against the door and looked up at Scott for a moment. "Does anyone by the name of Scott live here?" He asked looking up at the scary looking man for a moment, hoping to get someone to at least help he did look like a scrawny man Scott would easily just break apart of he wanted to.

Riley gave Amelia a friendly smile and nod as she watched her friend get up and made her way over towards her car to put her bag in, a few seconds later Riley started to follow Amelia and Fumiko to the clothing store, and once they were inside Riley could hear the music on the loud speakers in the store. It was a rock song that she listened to quiet often as Riley followed Fumiko to one of the shelves seeing her friend picking something out already and smiled. "It looks great fits your personality perfectly." Riley said giving her friend a smile before heading over to a random aisle.

Riley started to look at a few leather jackets and some torn up jeans that looked like something she could wear she did always enjoy clothes like that as Riley started to grab them and tried them on as well looking at herself in the mirror as she looked at it. Riley started to quietly hum to herself as she turned to look at some tshirts as well.

As Emmie leaned herself up against the wall looking across the street at Adalene when she was able to cross the street and shrugged a little bit. "Well we have powers somehow so I don't think it would be like some Dumbledore wannabe with magic powers giving it to everyone." Emmie said giving a slight shrug as she noticed a taxi driving by and then continued to the restaurant until they were there now as Emmie waited for Adalene to enter.

Inside the restaurant was fairly busy as people were slowly being seated or leaving now as Emmie looked over her shoulder waiting for her friend to go over. She did have the money after all and Emmie didn't so she'd be the one to mooch money off of Adalene at least for the time being unless she wanted to pick pocket someone out of their money as well.

Claire smiled when the woman said she might buy her book." I've already published 2 books. Mystery and supernatural novels, both are published under my name - Claire Ames Winters." The cop explained with a huge grin as the traffic had cleared up nicely enough and now she was nearing the police station and from there into the garage. It wasn't exactly end of shift time quite yet so the place wasn't going to be as crowded as it could have been, so she smiled while driving all the way to a nice place to park and drop off the girl.

"Probably going to be a really good idea, in case you run into trouble later." She nodded with wide grin, pulling out a business card." But I think you knowing my number would be faster, so why not exchange them numbers?" Claire asked and handed the girl her business card where there was her name and contact number. She then waited for the girl to say her number so she can save it into her phone for later use." Don't hesitate to call if something comes up, I will come over ASAP. Especially if that guy comes to cause you troubles again. You could also call if you want to hang out sometime though. My off duty days are written on the card." She winked.

Amelia felt a little bit out of place while her friend and Fumiko were picking up clothing. Both of them seemed to have a really good time, judging by the expressions on their faces and the fact that Riley was actually humming a tune. She guessed that shopping was fun and she did enjoy wearing clothing to her taste, she just wasn't used to actually shop for it. You had to have the spare income to do so and until recently and she'd dare say even now she didn't really have that much spare money to throw on fashion. Granted she did enjoy coming up with designs and superhero costumes, but those were only on paper.

Finally she sighed quietly and decided to might as well try to go with the flow even if she doesn't pick up anything. Amelia wasn't sure what to look for, she just enjoyed plain simple clothing without too much fancy stuff on it. For example a simple white shirt, plain jeans and the like. On occasion she'd wear maybe something nerdy like a tshirt with a game or anime character on it, but htat was rare. She felt too shy to wear fancy and eyecatching stuff. Thus she was currently slowly looking through different short sleeved shirts. There was a really nice white short sleeved shirt. The price was a lot bigger than what she was comfortable with spending, but since Riley had paid for her arts supplies, she probably had just enough to buy it. She placed it in front of herself and looked at herself in the mirror, seeing how it would suit her. She liked how it looked, she even had a nice knee long jet black skirt to wear with it if she buys it. Not really an everyday wear for her, but it would be nice to have it for special occasions. Thus she decided to buy it and went to try it out.

After she put it on, she looked at herself in the mirror. She wanted to ask if it suited her, but her shyness skyrocketed right away. Amelia just nodded to herself as she studied herself in the mirror. Yeah she was going to buy this one... and probably search for a better paying job than what she had right now.

Adalene laughed a bit at the idea of this somehow being magical, "I mean we can't really know can we?" She asked, stepping inside the restaurant. For all they knew, magic was real and they were some kind of new breed of wizards. They were really just children bumbling around in the dark, and no matter what they speculated, without some type of way to either study themselves, or somebody to explain to them what was going on, it would all be practically baseless. There was no way to rule out anything. She was surprised Emmie would be so quickly dismissive, given the astounding abilities she herself possessed.

Once in the restaurant, she quietly said to Emmie, "I should be able to cover you, this time." She didn't want to keep paying for Emmie forever, but as long as she still had questions, she didn't want Emmie to run off. She knew she didn't have any answers, but she figured that there being two of them doubled the chances of them getting some kind of answers. Maybe the math didn't work out that way, either way, she wanted to stay ahead of this. Knowledge was power, and she planned on dominating.

It was just her luck to get a friendly cab driver who wanted to talk. That was, in part, why she avoided Uber. "Visiting a friend." Satisfied that it would provide the answer he needed, Quinn returned to looking out the window towards Central Park. She couldn't quite remember the last time she visited it. She had been so busy.

With a glance, Quinn caught familiar faces. She placed them instantly in her dream. It seems more were in New York than she realized, though she had no possible way of contacting them short of renting a billboard or asking online. And that would paint a target on her, if there wasn't one already.

Scott had gone to pack a bag with some necessities for heading to pick up the kids when he heard the knock. He froze for a moment, listening, before he headed to the door and opened it a crack. "Yeah?" he said gruffly. It clearly wasn't a cop. That much was a relief. And he doubted it was anyone connected to his buddies - they were off getting ready for some job. That left one last reason as to who it could be. He nodded, opening the door more, before he grabbed Trevor and closed the door behind him, locking it.

In a matter of minutes, he had Trevor hogtied to a chair and he had one of his pistols in his hand, pointing it at the man. He didn't take kindly to door to door salesmen, but he sensed that Trevor was something else entirely. "What do you want, snot weasel?" Scott asked, ready to kill or at least injure the man at a second's notice. He had a feeling he was connected to this entire mess and he was going to keep those kids safe, damn it.

Fumiko seemed pretty pleased with herself as she made her way around the store, looking through various cute outfits and mixing and matching to decide what was cute. Though of course, she felt the need to bother Riley and Amelia while shopping. Her first victim being none other than Riley. Sneaking up behind her friend, Fumiko suddenly hopped into her view and held up two outfits. One darker colored and seemed like it would match well with Riley while they other was lighter colored and matched for Fumiko. Both consisted of off the shoulder tops and skirts that stopped above the knee. Each seemed like it would hug their form tightly, and Fumi had a bright grin on. "Try it Riles! You would look super cute and we would match! Though we could also put in a few tears and such to the top if you want or something..." She said as she started to brainstorm ways to make Riley look even cuter. "Try it on! I know you'll like it comeon!" She demanded, holding up the outfit with a slight beg in her eyes.

Then Fumiko made her way off to find Amelia, looking over at what she was choosing. "That looks super cute!" She said, before going off and suggesting some other stuff to add on to help make the outfit cute. "You should try it on! If Riley tries on the outfit I chose for her and I try this on, we might look super cute together. Then I would have to buy the outfits and we could all look super adorable tonight. Comeon~" She said happily, hoping her friends would indulge her for a bit.

Jason waved slightly at the man who was walking his dog, not too sure where Trevor had gone. The man had seemed a bit weird to him at the least, but he did seem to be trying to do his job or something. He didn't dwell on that thought too much, more interested with heading off with his sister to meet up with Scott in Pike's Place. Though the thought of meeting up with Scott in anyway was a little dumb and freaky to him, since he hated the guy's guts.

Janelle followed along with her brother, walking along with him closely to make sure that she didn't get lost or something. She wasn't too sure what was going to happen when they got to Pike Place, Or whether or not they'd have to wait around for a little while for Scott to show up. They didn't even know how far he lived from the Market, so she didn't know if they'd beat him there or not.

"So, any idea when he's going to show up? Since you know, we don't know where he is coming from... We might have a chance to look around the market before he shows up. Any place in particular you want to go? Or do you just want to wander a little bit before heading to the comic shop?" Jace asked his sister as they headed for the market.

"I wouldn't mind wandering for a little while... Though we need to make sure that we get to Golden Age rather quickly... Though we don't know how long it'll take to meet up with Scott, you are right about that. There is a chance that he'll beat us there or something... It is possible since it will take us a little while to get there..."

@rivaan The woman smiled a bit and nodded. "I'll go and buy them then." She said as she went and accepted the card given to her and then started to give Claire her number as well. "Call me when you are free then." She winked back as she was let out of her car by an officer, and then followed one of the officers inside. Then one of Claire's coworkers came over and knocked in the car door of Claire's car. "Chief wants to see ya whenever you are free." He said, as he went back inside the precinct.

@FantasyChic "Ah I see." He said as they continue to go along the way towards Olivia's house passing by Central Park, until a few minutes later they were now just pulling up at the street where Olivia stayed at currently. There were some pedestrians that were going on about their business. The apartment building itself was fairly large but old looking as well, once he parked the car, and then the amount of money appeared on the dashboard. "Did you want to pay in cash or credit?" The elderly man asked looking at her.

@BlueSky44 They would be able to get to Pike's Place with no problem at all, there were some people out there doing a little bit of shopping as well. There were a few people coming in and out of the comic shop, there was a group of teens blocking a smaller teen in front of a store front as they started to pick on the kid as well. "Just give us your wallet and we will be on our way." One of them said, as they pushed the kid's shoulder. A few seconds later they would be able to see Isley about to head into one of the stores it looked like she was going to do some shopping.

@Morose Trevor looked up at Scott for a moment when he allowed him to go inside, but only to suddenly be grabbed by the man causing him to scream out loudly as he was pushed into a chair and hogtied down onto the chair as he started to struggle and squirm in his seat. Then seeing the gun gave him the deer in the headlights look. "Please, please don't hurt me, I just wanted to ask you a few questions is all. I have a card it's in my pocket." He said gesturing towards his coat pocket there.

Riley was picking out some of the clothes that she was really interested in wearing, when Fumiko ended up coming out of nowhere of course showing her two outfits that she had picked out. "Damnit you scared me," Riley said as she glared at her friend for a moment, and then eyed the two outfits that her friend had picked up for her. Riley really hated the bright colored one, she preferred her punk look that she always had all the time.

"I'll take the black." Riley said towards Fumiko while she went to go and try it on, while she turned around and started to pick something out for Fumiko as well. She found a really nice looking dress in a bright purple color and then tossed it over towards Fumiko. "Go and try that on will ya?" Riley asked smiling a bit, then she spotted Amelia as well. "That looks really cute." Riley said and smiled a bit as she went to get changed in the changing room. A few seconds later Riley came out looking at her two friends. "So how do I look?" Riley asked smiling a bit.

Emmie looked at Adalene for a moment, and bit her bottom lip for a moment and gave a slight nod towards her, she figured that she should at least pull some weight around when she had to pay somethings now. "I'll pay next time." Emmie said towards her friend and gave her a little bit of a smile. As the waitress looked up at the two of them and smiled. "Follow me please." She said as she motioned for the two of them to follow her there was a booth seat by the window.

Emmie started to get a bit attached to Adalene even though they hadn't known each other very long at all, she allowed her to have a roof over her head and food as well. "So totally random question, maybe help me find a job or something?" Emmie asked looking up at her for a moment, she hadn't had a job before and she knew that stealing obviously would end up getting unwanted attention to them. A few seconds later their waiter came back looking at the two of them. "What can I get you guys?" He asked.

Fumiko stood there inspecting the bright purple dress that was handed to her by Riley. It was certainly her style, though maybe fit more for a club in Fumi's mind. No shoulders, instead being held up by clear straps. Form-fitting the whole way down, it stopped midway down her thigh. Fumiko whistled as she figured she would look absolutely smoking in the dress. Maybe she'd have to pick this as well as the matching outfits for her and Riley. Not long after she was looking at the dress, Riley stepped out and asked how she looked. The off the shoulder top still managed to cling to her form, the little skirt stopped short of her knees and flowed slightly. Overall she looked very cute, but Fumiko had a few thoughts on the outfit. Stepping forward, she pulled the bottom of the skirt slightly to straighten it. "Maybe if we gave you a little belt to go with it... boots perhaps as well? Likely taller ones or some simple converse or the likes." She said mumbling to herself as she fussed over the small outfit. "Also we need a different top for ya, Riles. Lower cut, show off these beauties!" She said before quickly groping her friend with a deviant smile. Before Riley could react, Fumiko dashed into one of the changing rooms with a small giggle.

Deciding she would try on the dress from Riley first, Fumiko hung up her outfit and held the dress against her body to admire in the mirror. "Yeah, should work." she muttered to herself. Before she put on the dress whoever, Fumiko made sure to snap two pictures of herself undressed to tease Riley with later. Not long after, the door to the changing room would open and the popstar would step out. The purple dress fit her form well enough to show off the rather curved and toned body she had. As well as the bright purple bringing out a slight glow to the girl. Also, as Riley was well aware at this point, it was pretty much her favorite color. She gave an elegant twirl and stopped with a hand on her hip as she flashed a smile at the two. "So, how do I look?" She asked with that bright smile still gracing her lips.

“Be sure that I will do so.” Claire replied with a smile as the woman moved away.” Well that was a good thing.” Her grin was wide as she was really pleased about the way everything went so far. Saving a girl from a douchebag boyfriend and possibly getting a date from it too. All was good when things ended well like this. Now she had to go bring her partner and probably settle for the day and then she had to go meet Olivia and see what was up.

Her perfect day so far was suddenly put to the test when a colleague informed her the chief wanted to see her. Well damn that was either good or very bad depending on what they were wanting of her. She shouldn't really have gotten into any trouble as far as she was aware. She wasn't pushing any rules to the limits or playing tricks or anything. She's been kind of by the book mostly, so she had no idea why her presence was required this time.” Guess I will go quickly meet with him first then...” She informed her partner that she was going to be a little late cause she had to meet the chief and quickly parked on the usual spot for her patrol car and headed into the station and for the Cheif.

Amelia was so focused on the shirt she was currently checking out that she almost jumped out of her skin when Fumiko showed up out of seemingly nowhere and complimented her choice. The startled Amelia could only look in shock as more clothing were piled in her hands to go try them out. Before she even knew what's what Fumiko was asking her to try them on.” Oh... ehh... okey...” She managed to reply as Riley chimed in too, calling it cute. She could try them on, though she more or less didn't notice the fact that Fumiko seemed to be planning to drag her out tonight.

She then entered the changing room with the pile of clothing she was handed along with her shirt. As she started putting them on, she realized a few things. Sure they were well suitable with the white shirt she chose. There was a black straight skirt that was a little above her knee, there was a nice cutesy short black demin jacket to go along. The jacket barely reached just under her chest. She looked at herself it was nice, but... too eye catching. She was also showing a little bit too much of her bare legs here.

“Ahmmm...” She started to say as she walked out of the changing room and just in time to see Fumiko grope Riley before running into a changing room. Her mind went short circuit for a while, in confusion and embarrassment, staring at Riley with slightly flushed face.” You look … ahmmm... beautiful like that.” She managed to bring herself say. Complimenting other people was taking a lot of confidence in yourself too it seemed. She just found it very embarrassing since she wasn't really confident in herself. How were other people complimenting with straight face as if it was nothing!? And then Fumiko showed up soon after too. Also looking really nice.” You... look great!” Amelia managed to say and then looked at herself, remembering her get up.” I'm going to go change back in what I wore... this probably doesn't suit me... yeah... change back....!” She stuttered, blushing up and running off to the changing room again.

Adalene pursed her lips for a moment, guilty at making Emmie say that. She was happy that Emily was willing to start putting up some money for them both, but she felt gross about having it come out like that. She followed after the waitress, and slid into the booth, sitting near the window, across from Emily. She smiled at Emmie and thought for a moment. Helping her get a job would eat up a bit of time, but it'd be worth it in the end. "I can try to lend a hand. Yeah." She said. Given what she knew about Emmie, it wouldn't surprise her if she'd have a pretty hard time finding one on her own.

As the waitress came back, she nodded at her waitress and said, "If I could get an order of nachos, and a coke, I'd appreciate that." She said, and turned to Emmie, waiting for her to order. She thought about job options for Emmie, and frowned. If she had to guess, she probably didn't have a copy of her birth certificate, or know her Social, and that'd mean they'd either need to find a way to get their hand son them, or she'd need to be working under that table, which would limit the jobs she could do considerably.

Quinn took out some cash, plus a decent tip, for the cabbie and handed it to him. "Thank you." She quickly got out before he continued to ask her questions about what she was doing. She didn't feel the need to entertain someone else about her goings-on. She looked up at the building and it appeared like your average apartment building.

She walked up the steps and looked for Olivia's name anywhere to find her room. She hoped she wasn't early, she didn't want to sit around again less she be transported somewhere else again.

Jason noticed Isley in the marketplace, and he had been about to wave at her, when he stopped and glanced over at the group of teens nearby. What the hell were those older kids doing? Picking on the other one like that! It reminded him of how sometimes people tended to pick on Janelle because she was considered weaker by many, and generally was in the smaller kid's situation. It bugged him insanely, and he started to head that direction.

She felt Jason heading towards that group, and she understood that he was likely going to try to stop them, but she wasn't so sure it was going to be a good idea. "Jace... I don't think that would be such a good idea..." she said softly, but knew that it was no use, her brother could be a bit stubborn, and she felt him walk away from her, heading straight for the kids. This was not going to end well, that much she did know.

"Hey you there! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!" Jason called to the group as he headed over there, and shoved on of them to the side slightly, and getting in between them and the younger kid. This was annoying him, and he wanted to help the younger one, whether he wanted his help or not. Sometimes people could just be so rude to one another, it made his blood boil.

Janelle let out a small sigh, hearing her brother's words. This entire situation could have been avoidable, but no, her brother just wanted to play the hero. "Come on Jace, don't do this..." she said as she kind of edged towards the group now, slowly to make sure that she didn't run into anyone. She hoped that Jason wouldn't get himself hurt or anything.

"I only hurt assholes who deserve it - or if the price is right," Scott snapped, staring at Trevor. He didn't like that this man had shown up out of nowhere, wanting to talk to him. He didn't move his gun away from Trevor, but he grabbed the car from Trevor's coat pocket and read it, before putting it inside of his own pocket. It might come in handy later. He figured there was a chance that he'd end up killing Trevor. But first, Scott needed answers.

"I got questions of my own. One - how'd you find me? Two - why the hell did you think it was a good idea to try and find me? Three - why did you want to find me? And four - got any next of kin? Might need to make a deposit. I'm sure they'd love to recover your body. But that doesn't have to happen if you explain your shit right now - I want the goddamn truth!"

@rivaan Once Claire was inside of the precinct there were a few offers that were there going on about their business some beat cops were heading out on patrol. And then there was a section where the detectives were as they were either doing some computer work or they were reading some files. A few of them were talking to one another, as one of them looked up and gave Claire a slight nod, then at the very end of the hall was the chief as he opened up the door and waved her in. "Claire, come on in." He said, he was a man who was in his early fifties with a gray set of hair. He then slid her a file and looked up at her, he was a fairly friendly person and always was fair to the other officers that were there. "Got a case for you, heard you wanted to work on becoming a detective. You will be tailing Travis here." He said gesturing to a detective around her age, who gave her a nod before heading to his desk. "So take time to read up, your dismissed."

@BlueSky44 One of the kids that Jason pushed turned around and started to glare at him, as the other two stopped what they were doing and stared at Jason as well. "None of your business kid." One of them said as the kid gave Jason a rather hard shove and glared at him, as the other two kids started to surround Jason. And then Janelle would hear Isley's voice as she spoke out to the group of kids, as the weather changed a bit and a loud clap of thunder occurred and started to rain hard. The kids then started to grumble and then stared at Jason directly. "We will see you later." He said as they turned off and made a run off down the road.

@Morose Trevor was starting to sweat nervously still staring at the gun, and then back up at Scott as he started to ask him some questions as he slipped the card into his pocket. "Of course, answers. I believe you and a group of others like you are special, you got some illness awhile ago and started seeing other people, and getting strange abilities or something correct?" He asked as he tried to remain as calm as possible. "I also believe you are in danger, and others like you." He said trying to be as calm as possible. "I don't have any family, but money I can help and try and figure what is going on."

"Thank you, and have a great day." The driver said, as he waved goodbye to Quinn and started to drive off away, once Quinn was at the door she could see the names of each of the tenants who occupied the building. And at the very bottom was the apartment number and name for Olivia. A few seconds later Olivia was at the door holding a bag of trash, and just as she opened it she stopped and saw Quinn there and gave her a bit of a smile and waved at her once she opened up the door. "Hey, didn't think you'd be here so quickly." Olivia said as she walked down the steps and dropped the trash into the dumpster on the side of the building.

"Lets head inside." Olivia said as she started to head inside and held open the door for Quinn once Quinn entered Olivia walked up a flight of stairs and then made a right down the hallway to the very end of the hallway as she opened the door and headed inside. "Can I get you anything by the way?" Olivia asked her giving her a slight smile.

Riley looked at Fumiko as she went over to grope her which made her jump a little bit and blushed a tad bit, she didn't really like the idea of suddenly being touched. But Fumiko was a friend, and she usually did that a lot of the time, as Riley rubbed the back of her neck slightly and smiled at Amelia. "Thanks." Riley said softly as Fumiko started to give suggestions, she of course had leather boots back at her apartment. "I already have some boots there." Riley said, as her friend headed inside to get changed.

Riley stood there, as Amelia went in and started to get changed as well, and gave her a bit of a smile once she stepped out and checked her out a little bit. "You really look nice, you should get it Amelia." Riley suggested, she really did look good in what she got as Fumiko came out after changing to and smiled a bit as well. "Should we get lunch next as well?" Riley asked looking at the two ladies.

Emmie brightened up a bit when Adalene said that she would be willing to do it for her which she was grateful for, as she rubbed the back of her neck a bit. "It gets a bit dangerous stealing after awhile." Emmie said softly, it wasn't the first time she had gotten jumped in the past for stealing. As Emmie looked up at the waitress as she asked what they would like first. "A coke as well, and nachos would be good." Emmie said as the waitress nodded and started to walk off to get their drinks.

Emmie looked around a bit as she ran a hand through her hair and bit her bottom lip a bit, she wasn't really sure what else they could talk about. "So what should we actually talk about?" Emmie asked as she turned her attention back towards Adalene for a second as she waited a bit, as the waitress came back with their drinks. "Your nachos will be up in a few minutes." She said as she handed them some menus for their entrées next.

Claire was rather suspicious as she entered the office of the captain. Being called like this was weird and she wasn't sure what to expect. The initial thoughts of possible administrative punishment or IA action quickly gave way to the fact she hadn't done anything bad really. Her captain's voice also didn't suggest something bad so she just complied and entered the office with a smile noticing another person there. She rose an eyebrow as she was handed over a case. Wait she was being assigned to tail a detective? This was damn weird actually... While she was happy for the chance, she wasn't sure of the intentions behind this. She gave her boss a look, trying to read anything from him and then glanced at the detective she was to shadow. He had nodded to her so she nodded to him also.

On that topic, she managed to reach and read some of her boss's thoughts. He appeared to be genuinly thinking this was a good chance for her and that she was going to turn into a good detective one day. She wasn't sure why this was happening and this didn't completely answer that question. Well as the old saying went, she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She smiled and took her folder." Thank you, Captain. I will go pick up my partner and settle in for the end of my shift. Thank you again, for the chance." She replied and quickly exited his office, heading for the detecive's desk." I'm looking forward to working with you, Detective." She said with a smile." I'm guessing tomorrow instead for patrol, I directly report to you?" She asked.

Amelia was flustered up as she quickly changed back into her clothing. Now that Riley had said that she had to take it, Amelia kind of didn't feel like she got a choice in the matter. Fumiko had expressed the desire for her to get them as well. This was just uncomfortable for her, but at the same time she wanted to please her friends even a little. Moving back into her previous clothing finally she took a deep breath and folded the new clothing pieces. She swore to herself that she was going to figure out a way to repay them at a later day somehow. Maybe in the future she was going to be the one to buy them something... but she had to find a new job. Alright she steeled herself to begin job hunting from tomorrow onward. It was a good thing to change her job anyways if there was someone hunting people like them with Riley, going to and back from work in the dead of night or early dawn, wasn't always the best idea.

"Alright... I will... take these..." She mumbled as she pulled out of the changing room and looked at her friends." I cannot afford them aside the shirt though..." Amelia said quietly filled with embarrassment over how she had to get other people buy her clothing." I will... return the money as soon as I get my paycheck... or 2 if I cannot afford them with one..." She forced herself to say and didn't dare looking Riley or Fumiko in the face.

"Some food might be good." She said with a quiet sigh at her own worthlessness. What was she even doing with Fumiko and Riley really? She was just some random girl that was almost completely broke. She had taken a year off college because she had to save up money for the tuition, but she was nowhere with that. In fact if she hadn't moved in with Riley who pratically didn't take her any rent, Amelia felt that she was going to eb on the street in couple of weeks unless she took another job. Now that she lived with Riley her finaces burden had lessened, but that just didn't make her feel good about it. It was nice living with her new friend, but she felt like a bad person living off her friend. Fumiko and Riley lived in a world of stars, where she was an ordinary person, but she still wanted to be friends.

Fumiko during the brief exchange between the two had slipped back into the changing room to change into the cute outfit she had chosen to match Riley. After a bit of inspecting herself in the mirror, she decided that she did, in fact, look suitably cute. Changing back into her previous attire, Fumiko popped back out to greet the two girls waiting. "Oh. Honey, no. I'm buying for everybody. Its a thank you gift for letting me stay with you guys while I am in town instead of in some hotel where I'm gonna be stalked by Paparazzi all the time." She explained with a pleasant smile, then started making her way over to pay for the outfits without really waiting to hear any objections to her plan.

Not long after having paid, she turned back towards her two friends as she thought about Riley's previous suggestion. Lunch. Lunch sounded absolutely wonderful. Fumiko didn't want to admit to it, but her stomach was starting to growl a bit at the offer of getting food. Thinking on it for a few more moments she nodded. "Sounds great, Riles. But I still wanna go dancing or to the bar tonight with you two! Girls night!" She declared happily, not even thinking for a moment that there could possibly be any objections to her absolutely wonderful plan for the night.

Adalene pursed her lips as she thought. Honestly, she wasn't even sure what they might have in common. Given what she knew about Emmie, Adalene assumed she hadn't much time for leisure, or access to it in the first place. "Um..." Adalene said, trying desperately to come up with something so they wouldn't be sitting in awkward silence. "Well what kind of stuff do you like to do for fun? Do you ever wanna get out of New York?" That seemed like a good enough place to start. It looked like it was time to get used to get to know her new roommate. She didn't want to hamper on too much about powers or stealing things, she wanted to actually be friends with Emmie.

Adalene smiled at the Waitress, and quickly thanked her, as she turned to pour over her menu. She'd be fine with something light, throwing up didn't put her in the mood to eat too much. An ice cold coke and nachos sounded great to her, and her wallet, right about now. She closed the menu, and picked up her drink with one hand, leaning back in her chair, and taking a slow sip, as she met Emmie's eyes, waiting for a response before saying anything else. She swallowed and smiled, glad to have the taste of vomit flushed out of her mouth completely.

Quinn was a bit embarrassed. She assumed Olivia would expect her quickly. "I'm sorry. I had nothing else to do today so I came as quickly as I could." She followed Olivia inside her apartment, taking it in. It was your typical New York apartment, much like her own.

"I'll have some water if you don't mind." She walked around the room a bit before she sat down on one of Olivia's chairs. Taking in the scene, she was eager to share the information she learned. Olivia said she was transported too, so it was hard to tell if Olivia knew what she knew as well.
