Alright starting now Rocks Fall everyone dies is in effect. Death is death. Any complaints ends up with a 'Nope don't care'. No more bitching at me this all has put me in one hell of a foul mood. I'll edit the post, and have Skull's boys help Verd out.
Zelosse said they were going to post, and Stern should post because otherwise Shade Walker just went through a whole speech on the ethics of the organization for no reason.
Alright I'm not feelin' all that great atm so I'll try to post something by tomorrow I doubt I can today. I'm planning on having a slug fest with the Yakuza next scenario if anyone has a problem with that, or another idea they're free to say so.
I may have fucked with the Character Sheet too much. Sorry about that. This is my attempt at a character. Hopefully she's acceptable. The name's a pun.
Name: Terubi Musen Nicknames: TV Face Villain Name: Connector Age: 21 Gender: Female -- Equipment
Weapons: None Hero(Villain) Equipment: Carries a set of mobile phones to act as 'nodes' for her power. She also carries a can of pepper spray and a taser, to surprise anyone who catches her in melee.
-- Combat Section:
Strength: About as strong as an average Japanese girl.
Endurance: Can stay awake almost indefinitely as a side effect of her quirk, and devours electricity instead of food or drink. Other than that, she's quite average.
Willpower: Terubi's quirk allows her to process a very large amount of information. It also allows her to set aside her own emotions quite easily when focused, relying on computer-like logical processing. This makes her somewhat resistant to emotion-manipulating effects, and telepaths can be overwhelmed by the 'processing power' of Terubi's mind. But other than that, quite average.
Speed: Quicker and more acrobatic than average, but still below most heroes.
Reaction Speed: Decent, but not amazing. She hasn't had much combat training, but she's naturally quick.
-- Quirk Section:
Name of Quirk: Interceptor
Ability of Quirk: Fundamentally, Interceptor is the ability to sense, alter and project wireless messages. It allows Terubi to remotely detect and manipulate all wireless transmissions. She can sense any wireless signal with a Start or End point within 1 km of her. She can decrypt, alter, or send signals, too. She's a living computer, in many ways.
Qualities of Quirk: Modern society is built on wireless communication. Terubi can intercept phone calls, access bank accounts, log in to secured websites, steal personal information, and more. Not only is she astonishingly skilled at acquiring and disseminating all kinds of information, but her ability allow her to notice your login details the moment you log in. This allows her to break into bank accounts just by being near you when you log into yours. She can also send faked signals, making it look as if you received a text, email or even phone call from an ally. Or just disrupt enemy devices. It's an incredibly versatile and powerful Quirk, in modern society.
Strengths of Quirk: It's practically unbeatable, when it comes to technology manipulation. And as a side effect, Terubi has access to an astonishing amount of processing power. She can easily perform immense calculations by relying on the computers she's connected to.
Weaknesses of Quirk: Computers that don't send or receive wireless signals are invulnerable to her. This quirk is also not very useful in direct combat, and as such doesn't help her much when she's in a fight. At best she could try and distract an opponent with a flood of text messages, or screech into their ears if they're using headphones of some kind.
Limits of Quirk: The 1km range limit means that she has to be fairly close to her targets. And considering how easy she is to take out for a trained hero, any amount of 'close' is too close. Any material that's thick enough to block signals can also block her power, such as a thick wall of lead or a much thicker wall of earth. Anywhere your phone can't connect is probably immune, unless she's inside that area.
---- About Section
Biography: Terubi is a new recruit. Her quirk made her a troublemaker from the get go, as she hacked into school computers in order to fake her grades. For a while, she got away with it too. Knowing how much she could get away with she pretended her ability was weak and infiltrated more and more systems, draining people's bank accounts and destroying them on social media. The people she disliked would find their private information shared all over the world, or have their internet destroyed. Or she just stole all their money. It took quite some time before they caught her, and the escalating crimes caused her to be sent straight to jail.
Of course, being a child, her jail time was relatively low. But when she stepped out she was scouted by various nefarious organisations. Her power made her absolutely ideal for various criminal syndicates. Her greedy and arrogant personality led her to accept several criminal jobs until she was known as a full-fledged supervillain. After a few years she was invited into the Black Tree organisation, and happily decided to join.
Personality: Terubi's power constantly grants her access to whatever the people around her are doing on the internet. Even at a young age she was exposed to whatever sick stuff her classmates, parents, and teachers were googling. Whether it be their creepy fetish or their dumb questions, or their ridiculous fandoms. She grew up realising firsthand just how sick, twisted and stupid the people around her were. Needless to say, her worldview is a rather cynical one. She sees other people as mostly beneath her, nothing more than sheep to be exploited and used by those more powerful than them. And while she may not have much in the way of combat ability, she sees herself as one of the most powerful around. An arrogance built on her experiences with minor villains and heroes. She's snarky, witty, superior and a bit of a coward. But more than anything, she's greedy. Greedy for glory, fame, and power. She'll do anything in order to get her hands on more of it. And she can do quite a lot.
Other: Due to her Quirk, Terubi can't speak. She instead communicates via phone calls, which is one of the reasons she keeps a phone with her at all times. She also needs to be 'plugged in' when going to sleep, as she otherwise starves to death.
The bio is a bit lack luster in terms of detail than what I prefer but I'll pass the character sheet as I'm sure most here want more players.
However I feel I must warn you due to a snafu regarding the previous captain in the second chapter, and some very indiscriminate ally slaughter the players are currently in a 'rocks fall, everyone dies' type situation where I/we made a deal (in exchange for breaking continuity) that if someone fucks up really bad there will be no more do overs. If you're fine with that you're cleared to join.
