You have been brought here because you are next in line for the immortal thrown. Your normal lives no longer exist, this is where you will be until you are ready. But there are no instructions... No guidance, you must do this on your own, or learn off the people around you. Some of you will know you are dieties, some of you will have no clue until you get here. This is your chance to become something greater than any adventure in your human-life. Make your own path, whether it be to save the worlds, or to destroy them.

Welcome young Dieties, to your new home.

The world is yours to enjoy, adventure. Connect with things you’ve never experienced before. Swim through the vast lagoons, get lost in the dense jungle. Learn how to be yourself, learn your own power, make your own destiny. But always stay cautious, this world isn’t only filled with beauty, but also terrors. Walk the wrong path, and you may be faced with death.

When you've fallen through the brush and have made your long journey trying to figure out where in the world-- or what world you're now on. In the distance the largest tree that sits with a temple like structure sitting on a cliff like branch that over looks large masses of waters and parts of the forest. You spend a days journey trying to reach the trunk of the tree. When it becomes visible, a golden figure of a young women stands with her royal like hair blowing in the wind. She holds out her hand where a small envelope with your name appears. It’s a letter from your God/Goddess who has sent you here.

“You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God/Goddess
Your own.”

You haven't realized yet that you are no longer by the trunk of the tree, you are standing on a platform that looks over from the highest point, when you look around a large temple like structure stares you in the face. This is your new home, a place to begin, and a place you can always return to. Temple of Thea, the greek goddess of heavenly light.

Blaze opened the envelope, reading thoroughly its contents. He read it once,twice...read it so many times, but its enigmatic words could make no sense to him. He clinged to one phrase..."my dear, you will understand everything when the day arrives". He averted his gaze from the letter, to once again look at the woman who gave it to her. However the sight before him surprised him.

Focusing on the letter too much, Blaze never noticed that the gigantic tree he just arrived at vanished, or, to be exact, was now underneath him. He was now surrounded by the endless blue of the sky, at a height he originally thought possible he could only reach on a dragons' back. What was even more surprising, was the fact that he was not flying, not even floating, just stepping on a transparent platform, from where even the large tree looked like a small dot. Grabbing his leg, Paco, his faithful friend and companion muttered:

"I am scared..."

Blazed looked at his little friend.

"Don't worry", he nodded with a warm smile.

Blaze focused on his surroundings. Before him was a temple, or so he thought. Even though he had yet to see a human-made structure, he was certain that this one was not made by mortal hands. It was beautiful, elegant, a true piece of art. As he looked around, he saw some more people around, all of them having their own, unique aura. He noticed that some of them were holding a letter as well.

"I guess I am not the only one clueless around here." he thought.

Xabiz scoffed at the note. Him? A God? He could barely see himself living past tomorrow, let alone becoming something greater than himself. However, his thoughts raced and showed him falling down to his death. He looked around seeing that he was now high above where he received the note. However, he was standing on... something with a temple in front of him, and there were others here as well.

Time to put on a 'happy' face, isn't it? Xabiz thought, his mind filling with visions of each of their multiple deaths and futures. This 'blessing', as most of his acquaintances called it, was extremely hard to live with and only ever helped a handful of times. It has even driven Xabiz to insanity and back. Just focus on the here and now. Let the visions become background noise like they normally are. He thought, composing himself before trying to determine if there was a path to the temple.

In the skies above a battlefield, a week ago...?

Through the cockpit of the F-16 Falcon fighter jet, the sun beat down on Alicia's face. Instinctively, she tapped the button on her flight-helmet to bring the sun-visor down. With a click, the darkened piece of transparent material had covered her eyes, reducing the fatigue from the sun. Alongside her own aircraft flew two other planes of the same type, both armed to the teeth. Below them, a harsh looking desert covered the landscape, dotted by occasional villages and settlements and above them, the clear blue skies stretched for as far as the eye could see. At the moment, all Alicia could hear was the low but noticeable sound of her plane's engine as the squadron flew towards their destination.

"Hey, Lieutenant-" A familiar voice came over the radio, but was quickly interrupted by another.

"Geez, Frank, how many times have I got to tell you that when we're on mission, it's TAC names only?" This voice was much more severe than the other, but it still had the same sense of familiarity as the other. Alicia couldn't help but smirk somewhat.

"Got ya, sir. As I was saying, Endless, I hear we're gonna get some leave time in a week. Whatcha plannin' on doing?" Alicia thought over her response for a moment before replying.

"I guess I'll just go for a walk or two? I really can't be bothered to find something more important to do and I'm most at home up here, so..." She trailed off somewhat, not really knowing what to say, but her comrade seemed to understand the sentiment well enough, and jokingly replied.

"Ha, you're such a workaholic, Endless. You need a hobby." The man's voice was full of cheer, he seemed more than reasonably excited for the leavetime. After making this remark, the radio fell silent again, so Alicia decided to look around. The desert scenery wasn't all that interesting and there weren't many clouds to decorate the sky today, so she decided to look over her friend's planes. They all flew F-16C Falcon jets, the mainstay of the United States Air Force and definitely a lethal looking plane at that. Despite its small size, it carried a large payload, rivaling that of gigantic bombers sixty years ago and its sharp, aerodynamic physique had earned it the nickname Viper. All of their planes were painted in the ordinary grey camouflage of the USAF, only decorated by individual logos and squadron symbols. The hot desert sun had a hard time reflecting off the paint, giving them a good amount of camouflage, even in the blue skies which contrasted greatly with their aircraft's colors.

Suddenly, she found herself interrupted by one of her allies. "Endless, we've got Flankers's, inbound towards here, bearing seventy. We should engage. They look like they've got K-100's." Immediately, she straightened herself up from her relaxed cruise position in her seat and began readying herself for combat.

"Roger that, Wasp." Alicia confirmed her wingman's suggestion and began to make necessary evasions to throw off any attempts at BVR combat. With a push on her stick, the Falcon began diving below the cloud-layer, in the direction of one of the towns. With her focusing on evading any locking attempts by the fighters, she didn't give any mind to possible SAM installations below her. She kept out any noise as she prepared for a dogfight, but suddenly a noise erupted in her cockpit. The warning beep, loud, obnoxious but noticeable was blaring, indicating the firing of a missile. Immediately, she evaded in a way that would throw off a missile shot by a plane, but she didn't realize until it was too late that missile fired was in fact a surface-to-air missile.

The plane shook and shuddered from the impact and immediately began losing speed. Based on her estimates, the engine had been hit the most and was no longer producing any thrust and thus went into a dive.

"Lieutenant, eject!" Her comrade yelled at her over the radio. Nodding, Alicia tried pulling the eject lever, but nothing happened. Trying again gave no results. She attempted to tell her fellow pilots that she couldn't eject, but the radio had already been "fried". Cursing, she tried again and again to pull on the lever, growing increasingly urgent as the plane dove at a frightening rate towards the ground. A plume of smoke followed the aircraft down and Alicia could smell the stench of burning fuel. Eventually, she gave up trying, her arms sore from repeated pulling and simply relaxed in her seat. Pulling off her oxygen mask and taking off her helmet, she sighed and looked out of the bubble cockpit at the ground's scenery as it grew closer. She opened her mouth to say something to no one in particular, however nothing but a sigh came out. Alicia smiled somewhat and closed her eyes, a solitary tear coming down her face. The pilot silently awaited the jolting moment when the crash would occur, when the candlelight of her life would be blown out.

But this moment never came.

Instead, upon forcing her eyes open, she was met utter black and only found herself drifting asleep...
Now.

A black haired, blue eyed girl found herself looking on the top of a hill at a large tree in the relatively close distance. Alicia found a smile coming to her face in satisfaction as she realized her journey was nearly over. One week ago, she had awoken far away in a pile of brush in an unknown land, with not another one of her kind in sight. For awhile, she wandered around in confusion, until deciding to journey towards a massive tree in the distance, feeling partially compelled to do so and partially wanting to visit it out of a new feeling of freedom that she had attained once she had awoken in the land. Over the one week journey on foot, she had mostly kept to walking, only resting for a few hours at a time, or sleeping for hours upon hours, taking full advantage of the freedom she now had. While she had been of course surprised by her arrival in this place, she eventually came to accept it. Perhaps this is the afterlife? She had remarked, before pushing that thought away with a laugh. In reality, the most likely explanation was that it was a dream, perhaps due to her being in a temporary coma after the crash. It was a dark thought, but she managed to stay cheery throughout her voyage.

Eventually, she had come to this hill. With her destination barely a kilometer away, she found a grin take over her features as she felt the accomplishment of finally reaching her destination. After taking in the view for a moment, she began to descend the hill, with a smile still on her face. Alicia descended the hill at a steady pace which suddenly turned into a jog. Then a run and suddenly she found herself dashing over foliage and brush and dodging trees at an incredible rate as she grew more and more excited to reach her destination. Hopping over roots and sidestepping rocks, the somewhat short girl advanced at speed that bested any professional athlete, without even breaking a sweat or losing her breath. While the outfit that she had awoken in; a dim sky blue blouse like shirt, a blackish skirt and some dress shoe-like loafers weren't the greatest peripherals for running, she didn't feel the slightest discomfort in her run.

The scenery turned into a blur as she picked up speed, a wide grin on her mouth and a spring in her every bound, and eventually she reached the tree. Crouching for a moment on her legs and breathing heavily, she laughed somewhat. Why is this so fun? Alicia asked herself. Am I going insane? The black haired girl smirked and shook the thought away as she brushed off her legs and stood up, when she was greeted by womanly figure clad in golden light. In its hands lied a letter and in the way she stood, it seemed she was offering it to Alicia. Tilting her head quizzically, she took the letter and indeed noticed her name on it. In a rather uneasy manner, she opened it and read the contents.

You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a Goddess
Your own.

The first thing she remarked was the almost poetic structure, reminding her almost of a strophic poem, just without rhymes. However, it seemed the more important idea was the fact that whoever had written it expected her to become a goddess at some point. At first, Alicia read it over and over just trying to make sense of the words, despite understanding it perfectly. It was what it mentioned that startled her. "A goddess? Me? What would I be a goddess of...?" She murmured to herself, but then the multiple ideas she had floating her head began to come together. An fascination with flight, great agility, an aptitude with flying, surviving a plane crash with no injuries... I can't be... "... A goddess of flight?"

Alicia found herself looking up in confusion, but now in her vision she could not see the weathered trunk of the tree. Now, as far as she could see, there was only an expanse of a fantasy-esque landscape, accentuated by the tree to which she had spent a week journeying. The high clouds were now only a few hundred meters away and she could hear the telltale sound of wind and gusts, telling her that she was now at a high altitude. Alicia shakingly took in the landscape for a moment, hoping it would calm her, but her hand continued to tremble at the though that this may not all be a dream. The girl was broken away from her trance by the sound of quiet activity behind her and daintily turned around. Her eyes were met by the sight of numerous individuals of differentiating appearances, feelings and general physiques all holding a similar letter to her own in their hands. Some were dressed exotically, others not so much. One man had a small humanoid creature at his side that looked like something out a TV show.

Her mouth gaping a little, her trembling hand accidentally let go of the letter, sending it off into the breeze, with a fluttering sound of paper. She made no attempt at trying to catch it, instead continuing to watch the group of other individuals, all trying to figure out things for themselves. Behind them lied an almost cliché looking temple adorned with a similar colored light to the figure who had given her the letter. One man looked to be heading towards it, but Alicia remained rooted to her spot, utterly unsure of what to do.

It was this uncertainty that scared her. Never before had she felt so lost, so unknowing as to what was happening. Her mind was ablaze with thoughts and she felt like screaming, but not a sound would escape her mouth and she could only watch the situation unfold around her...

The six-tailed fox stood before the temple of Thea with a tranquil look on his face, his long white hair and tails swaying gently in the breeze. He was not surprised to find himself in this strange new land; certainly he hadn't been expecting it, but surprise was reserved for things conceived as outside of the realm of possibility. Nor did his stoic expression falter as he read the short letter that had been handed to him. Curious words, but perhaps not so strange; was not the ultimate goal of knowledge and wisdom to obtain omniscience, and was not omniscience reserved for the domain of gods? No, "surprised" definitely wasn't the right word for what he felt... A small serene smile crept across his face as he took in his surroundings.

It immediately became apparent that he was not alone here. Several other strangers stood near him in various levels of disbelief. He had never seen their attire before. He took in a deep breath of air through his nose; their scents were foreign. Were they even from they same world? Well, it seemed that where they were from mattered little, and he soon stopped pondering too deeply about what was happening. After all, the letter assured him that he would understand everything in time.

"Here we go, down the rabbit hole..."

Silence.

It was too quiet.

Lethia enjoyed solitude, the quiet tranquility of being alone. It allowed her to organize her thoughts, to really find that inner peace within herself. Solitude over social interaction. It gained her many enemies, but she also gained self awareness as well. The busy noises of the city tended to distract her, more disruptive than comforting. Distracting, loud, a cacophony of sound.

This was different.

She couldn't hear the whisper of the leaves, or the call of the birds. She couldn't feel the grass rippling underneath her, or the caress of the wind on her skin. The scent of the fresh earth didn't reach her nose, or the fragrance of the flowers. She felt like crying out, grasping out to feel something--anything! She couldn't move, she couldn't utter a noise.

Lethia was suffocated. She couldn't feel her heartbeat--was it even beating?--she couldn't even breathe. Lethia was unable to move a limb, frozen in this sensory deprived state.

It terrified her.

If she had control over her body, she would most certainly be hyperventilating, crying, and freaking out in general. Her heart would be beating wildly, with no doubt. But she was unable to.

There was only darkness.
Falling.

Lethia was falling.

She awoke with a start, gasping and grasping at the grass. Her clear eyes immediately took in the blue sky. Why was she facing the sky? Oh, she was lying on her back. Lethia slowly regained control over her senses, and she pushed herself into a sitting position with a soft groan. She placed a hand on her forehead as she took several deep breaths. Where was she? What was going on?

Lethia squeezed her eyes shut as she struggled to recall her last memory. Everything was a haze, and it pained her head to try to force clarity. What was the last thing she did? Oh her head...

It was beginning to come back to her.

Lethia was hacking her lungs out, coughing her throat raw. The world seemed hazy, and her cheeks felt burning hot.

A fever. Did she have a fever?

Her throat was aching, it was so sore from coughing, and she was parched. When was the last time she drank? Her tongue felt like sandpaper and she could barely gather enough saliva to swallow. She blindly groped around for the cup of water that she had at her bedside, but her clumsy fingers knocked it over, causing water to spill over the floor.

No, no, no, no, no...

Desperately, Lethia tried to sit up, but only succeeded in falling out of bed. Struggling to sit up, but failing, Lethia fell onto the floor, the water soaking her body as she lost consciousness.

Yikes, not a good memory. She was sick, very sick. But that didn't explain why she was out here, in this unfamiliar place. One, she was sick, and fainted on her floor. Two, she lived out in the woods, all alone. She knew the area like the back of her hand. If this was anywhere around her home, she would know exactly where she was.

Lethia jumped to her feet, feeling no lingering affects of the dreadful fever she had before waking up here. There was nothing to be gained from staying in one place. It was time to explore.
Time is a very subjective concept. And Lethia completely lost track of it. How long has it been since she woke up? How many branches did she brush past?

After what seemed like an eternity, Lethia finally arrived at the large tree that commanded attention. She paused for a second, breath taken at the beauty. Was it even possible for trees to grow that big? It apparently was.

Lethia blinked a couple of times as a beautiful woman appeared in her field of vision. What was that in her hand? A letter with her name on it? How did she know her name...?

Curiosity overcame any suspicion as she opened the letter.

“You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God/Goddess
Your own.”

What?

A Goddess? Lethia? Really? Was this a joke?

She blinked some more as she read and reread the letter multiple times. But... It made sense in a crazy way. How in the world would she be here if it wasn't the work of a more powerful being?

She was stunned, speechless and confused. When she looked up to ask a question, she was somewhere else again. She was even more staggered now. What in the world was going on? Some people seemed to be walking towards the large building. Maybe they would know what was going on. Lethia gripped her letter, and started to head towards the temple as well.

He sat on the platform, holding the letter in his hand. Pursing his lips, he read it again.

“You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God/Goddess
Your own.”

"Well, that's one way to scare me shitless..." he murmured, a bit perturbed. One moment, he was sitting in his room, minding his own business, when bam, he was here. In... Well, whatever this place was called. For a mother, she needed to learn subtly. It wasn't exactly her strong suit. Well, at least the woman that had given him the letter was pretty. He chuckled at the thought. Still sitting on the platform, Ryko looked down at the others, others he assumed to be deities, like him. Though, he had no idea of what. He uncrossed his legs and let them dangle over the edge, smiling gleefully at the others down below. This aught to be fun. He jumped down from the platform, landing safely on the outer court of the temple. Well, on the tree it sat on anyway. Curious, he walked through the double doors into the temple. Temple of Thea, eh? He'd never met her, though he'd like to. She was the one that had blessed him with his light arrows after all.

As he walked the halls of the temple, he left his hand run over the cold stone walls, his mind already leaving him. His thoughts went to small girl in the heart of America. He sighed. The girl was struggling to survive, hiding on the streets. Probably an old memory of a live already lived. He closed his eyes and willed the memory to go away. This person was probably close to death and the memories were a way of telling him this. He sighed and found a small table to sit at in one of the smaller rooms. In it were bookshelves filled with miscellaneous texts. He put his elbow on the table and began rubbing his temple, trying to focus. The girl was now... an old man, about 65 or so. Cancer... Ryko sighed. He gave the command and the heart monitor in the hospital began to beep like crazy, doctors and nurses swarming the man. When Ryke opened his eyes again, there was a small soul sitting across from him, a little small blue orb floating. He smiled and took the soul in his hands. He'd always loved this part. The orb was warm to the touch and simple stunning. However, when Ryko picked it up, he could feel ever memory, good or bad. He sat for a few moments, shifting through them best he could and then decided on a reincarnation. He smiled at the orb and kissed it gently. As he did, the orb poofed and was gone, already inside the stomach of a human woman, ready to be born again.

He sighed, sitting at the table, a few minutes after the task had been completed. He glad to finally have a place where people might actually understand him. Plus, he didn't have to keep moving so that people wouldn't realize how immortal he really was. 119 wasn't exactly within the 'human' lifespan. Though, he still felt like a teenager. Maybe he always would. Who knew? He only knew one thing, his job was his life and despite it's difficulties, he enjoyed it. It gave him purpose and drive. It gave him reason. With it, he felt powerful and alive. Then again, maybe that wasn't a good thing. He chuckled at himself again and laid down on the table, staring up at the ceiling. Surely, the others would come soon.

As he wandered the endless halls of the Eternity Pass, the link between dimensions, worlds and universes. He remained silent, letting the cape hang down from his shoulders and the three inscribings on his left shoulder glow, they blazed in light simply because the power of the truth is unmatched by anything else. The reality of conflict is to not be spoken of, instead learned, people whom experienced conflict have learned, and are therefor allowed to bare witness the truth of conflict written on both his body and on the left of his shoulder, the shield arm, the arm of which protects. Millions of deaths spanning his mind at any given time from millions of different universes, one in particular found his interest, however. A fighter pilot, her gift from the allfather had been great, he'd seen her potential like he did himself. It was a surprisingly still time, for minutes he'd walked these halls without any interruption, was it finally time for his peace? The end of his Eternal Crusade?

Conquestus didn't think so highly of mortals, he knows their nature. There will always be war, crossing conflicts. Small arguments escelate into war, war escelates into destruction, the taking away of life. He'd done the process millions, if not trillions of times, he's killed countless numbers of any age group and he's demolished uncountable civilizations, some so advanced that they took to the stars. He's never found justice in doing so, he only finds guilt, forced to do what killed him even in the afterlife, however someone has to bare the burden and it is the sole reason he's still existant, to bare the heaviest burden of all, the death of a million souls every moment of every second.

Souls whisper in his ears of the unjustice of their death, they scream and shout at how they didn't deserve this type of faith, they tell him that it wasn't their fault, they swear of revenge and threaten even himself, Conquestus, a Deity of Conflict. The whispers hold familiairty, he knows the name of every voice which makes itself known in his head. He is like a reaper of sorts, however, he's supposed to be a just angel, an angel of conflict, but the only thing of which is angelic about him is the fact that occationally, he kills the evil-doers. A Dying Angel, A Falling Angel. He feels his body chackled to the white hall, unable to fly or even spread his wings if he wanted. His fate is to be locked to the ground, unable to feel what normal angels feel every day, he looks up to the sky in wishing for salvation but he knows that no one will bring it upon a killer of a million children, and their two million parents.

The chains and chakles keep him to work, ever slaughtering, ever punishing and taking. However, even for a simple minute he's free from such acts, His presence in the Eternity Pass is that of peace, not forced to flay, slaughter, maim or burn anything. It is tranquility, his paradise of which he wished to live forever. Suddenly he felt the watching eyes of the allfather pass through him for a brief moment and he swifly turned around, he knew that he was chosen for this task because he is the only one who truly knows it, thinking about another alternative is not something he is worthy of. ''Excuse me, allfather.'' He spoke out, his words echoed the white dimension which was the Eternity Pass.

As sudden as the gaze of the allfather pierced through him he found himself in a jungle, after a quick review of the environment he decided to wander to the tree, the pressence of the allfather ever with him, almost guiding him between the massive trees around him. Never was he lost, nor was he at peace, when he finally arrived he felt as if he'd been through this a thousand times, the familiarity of the massive tree felt curious, however he didn't think much of it, he was met by a female clad in a glorious robe, he was kindly given a letter, he didn't need this hospitality, he was a killer of millions, all he deserved was the cold glare of any normal person.

Nevertheless he opened the letter, his titanic body towering above the female, with the Vanquisher of Conflict on his back and the Protector against Unjustice in his left hand he was more then prepaired for his normal ordeal. The paper almost opened itself in the hand of Conquestus and he read the letter, from front to end, as perfectly as anyone could read it.

You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God.
Your own.

The rage boiled within him, A God of Conflict? The idea was of complete terror to him. Chackled to the ground, unable to spread to the skies of the world above for eternity? As a demi-god he knew that there would, in the end, be peace for him in death, he knew that Demi-gods are capable of death, no-matter how long they'd live, however a god is omnipotent, omniscient, unable of death. He wanted to smash this world apart, however his senses became clear and his simple stand infront of the woman would be terrifying to witness, suddenly he was located on a platform on the tree, a supposedly self grown one, in the center is the Temple of Thea, he's heard of it, a place of light. Even up here, a mere couple of meters above the ground, he felt his invisible chains pulling him to the ground. However a figure of Conquestus could impossibly enter it's sacred halls uncleansed. He simply stood there, titanic in nature and apearence he stood still, glaring with his blazing eyes the temple of Thea, he felt sick of his very presence this close to it's foundation. He didn't move, simply stood and took notice of the figures around him.

Demi-gods of all kinds and sizes, even the fighter pilot he'd seen visions of were here, present. He knew that the allfather would pick her for what she was, however he flet jealous of her capabilities, unchained, unchackled to the ground, capable of lifting up, flying as high into the sky as her imagination can bring her. He remained still, not because of uncertainty or unknowingness of the land, but because he was not worthy of enterance. His back body covered by the ripped black cloak, however the wind soon wished to bring it with them, and therefor the cape blew with the wind, stuck to Conquestus shoulders, however, magically the Signatum Conflictus remained unmoved, the three pieces of cloth like paper remained untouched or unaffected by the wind, on these cloths were almost eternal text's written in the language of the allfather himself, not anyone would be able to read it, however those who would, will know the truth of conflict.

So there he stood, before one of the holiest of all temples, unable or unwilling of entering it's sacred halls.

The darkness dissipates, leaving Innocentius face to face with a women of golden light. While he stood in awe, the women handed him a small piece of paper that said

You are here to learn how to take my place when the time comes.
You may be upset with me now, but my dear you will understand
Everything when the day arrives. You will become a God/Goddess
Your own.

After he read it, he looked up to ask the women what she meant, but she had disappeared, and so did the tree that she stood near. Instead, a building of magnificence stood before him. It was greek themed, kind of like the Parthinon, but... More. Others somewhat like him were all around, outside and in the building. He stood in awe at the place. No words came to his mind that could describe what he was feeling.

She had no initial reaction to the scenery that was cascaded around her. The vibrant hues of the odd colored jungle made her cringe. It was hard to understand something new, to be out of her own domain where she knew everything by heart, never having to worry about her own thoughts on top of others. She turned herself to the trunk of the tree, her eyes fixated on the golden figure in front of her. She studied her head to toe, learning each fragment on her self being from the different shades of gold that contoured her face and hips, her eyes being brighter than her locks of gold.

Jealousy, resentment against a rival, a person enjoying success or advantage. She repeated the definition in her head, to make sure that was the emotion she was truly feeling. But she was completely inaccurate. She was… Fascinated, to arouse the interest or curiosity of; allure. She felt herself smile as her body began to relax. She could never move on to something else until she had completely dissembled her emotions enough for her own self to understand. The woman held out a sealed envelope with ‘Evangeline’, she took the letter accordingly.

My star Evangeline,
This is your new beginning, spend more time hearing your own thoughts and living a life for yourself. Learn to love the simple things in life, learn that not knowing everything is the beauty of life. You are only to guide the minds of fatal thoughts, you will learn on your own my one and only that you have more control than you think. Now, take a look around. Explore. Live.
- Love, daddy

She felt her chest become tight, she wasn’t ready. She couldn’t be alone, to be all on her own with a million thoughts. She felt herself cave and thousands of voices at once began to rambled in her head, some whispered some screamed. She pulled the letter from her face and let herself become statue like until the voices finally calmed and soon faded. She was never allowed to seem weak, when she becomes vulnerable, her mind becomes open to the people who don’t belong there.

Opening her eyes to the world she looked over an edge, she looked as far as she could. Everything was so beautiful and serene. She felt captivated by it, she wanted to sink herself in to the soft grass and become part of the forest. She then turned to see a temple. They had similar buildings on her world, but she had never been inside one. She noticed some people stood in front of the temple, some were heading in to the large open doorway. She too hesitated before deciding that she would make her way in side also. She held on to the letter next to her side, and continued to make her way in. She spotted a few different faces, she had learned to study them quickly before they thought she was staring at them in some way. She stopped not knowing what way to go next, she stood close to a small fountain that was placed in the side of the room, sitting along the edge to look at the colorful fish that swam around each other. She began to study their patterns, matching one with the other. Something to occupy her mind.

Alicia's heartbeats eventually fell back into a normal rate and she had turned back around a while ago. Now, she only watched the scenery, letting herself calm down and let the situation sink in. However, no matter how hard she tried, the whole thing really couldn't soak in just right. What's happening... I'm normally more accepting of new things. She remarked as she watched the clouds tranquilly float by. Eventually, her eyes fell down and she took in just how high up she was. The platform seemed to be at least the same altitude as the giant tree's canopy. Further in the distance, a wide variety of different environments; lakes, mountains and plains, among others, painted a scene that reminded her of something out of a painting or perhaps even a video game. It seemed inviting, but Alicia still felt as if she shouldn't be there.

If I fell, I wonder what would happen? Would I survive? Would I be brought out of this dream? Would I die...? No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake the hurricane of thoughts and worries from her head. For a moment, she was tempted to just walk over the edge, just to see what would happen, but she refrained from doing so, out of a will not to bring any fear, worry or other negative feelings upon those with her, despite not knowing any of them. Perhaps it was a sentiment that she had come to harbor due to her being a fighter pilot. Was a fighter pilot Alicia corrected herself. She continued to stare out into the open skies, a deep yearning for her wings of metal growing inside her chest. This can't be real... can it? The girl continuously denied the situation, thinking it too unreal, but the evidence was there, which made her grow more angry by the second, angry with this new reality that couldn't be changed. A reality where she couldn't fly, where all she could do was look to the sky with a lamenting gaze.

Amazingly, she found herself missing her comrades, despite not knowing them all that well. She only had a year with them, but they had grown close. What I wouldn't give to return to that world, no matter how flawed it was. For a moment, her mind jumped through various ideas of what she could give to the powers that be in order to forsake this new life. A conclusion was quickly reached, however; any bargaining was for naught. Her usual cheer and energy left her body, a deep contrast to the elation she had felt when running through the woods. This quickly subsided however, as Alicia steeled herself. Unconsciously balling her fist, she turned around and faced the other new residents of this bizarre land. Painting a weak smile on her face, she began striding with determination towards the incredible construction, her features impeccable aside from her somewhat puffy eyes. In her way of walking, one could not even guess that she had been lost in distress only moments before.

Alicia marched through the doorway with relish before sighting a fountain. Figuring it would be a good place to start in gaining her bearings in the new environment, she tentatively entered into the room. Upon entry, she was met with an exotic looking girl who seemed to be close to her age observing fishes in the fountain. Alicia decided to speak in a slight tone as to not startle her, but kept a somewhat casual tone to give of an air of friendliness.

"I guess you're trapped here too?"

She could hear the voice of a gentle young woman, she processed the sound of it in her head only taking moments to memorize the sound until her eyes met with her in a gentle manner. She stood and smiled warmly, a new face. "Such blue eyes you have, you are truly beautiful young woman." Her words were never meant to be forward or out of line, she only wanted to speak truthful. She usually avoided complex indignation by simply saying the first thing that comes to mind when approached so abruptly. But the woman had not walked up in a abrupt matter and that she should be thankful for. She then stripped her eyes away and looked around the room to the few scattered people looking at the surroundings as they were. "I believe so, but I am not quite sure if it is a good or a bad thing."

She smiled once more to release any tension from her last reply. She wanted to enjoy this adventure as much as possible so she rather have the people around her try to become comfortable as well. She was glad that she was capable of giving off a somewhat confident tone as she replied back to her, but at the same time she questioned herself if she had said too much. She battled in her head without showing any remorse on her expression before finally reaching out her hand. "I am Evangeline." She said in her velvet like tone. One she would use to be gentle, alluring in the friendliest ways.

Having wondered around outside of the temple, Blaze concluded that it was aimless to stay out of the temple, since he was incapable of providing himself with even the slightest clue about what was the purpose of everyone being here. He sighed. He didn't even know the proper communication procedures humans follow in order to start a conversation. Not that he was sure if they were humans, either in appearance, or in powers and origin, since he never met any other living being apart from dragons, Paco and wild animals.

"I need to get the hang of socializing with others soon, or I don't think I will get any furhter from here..." he thought.

Paco now sat on his shoulder, his favorite place to sit. Blaze sneezed with Paco's tail on his nose. However, the sneeze sounded like more like a roar, that, unless the whole platform and temple were soundproof, he was sure that it was heard quite far, something that annoyed him. He blushed.

"Sorry, if I scared anyone!" he yelled.

A few seconds later, though, he regretted it.

"First I sneeze like a dragon, then I apologize to people out of the blue. Now that's a first impression..." he commented in sarcasm to his actions.

He decided to go inside the temple, to avoid being ridiculed in front of strangers. He always believed the first impression was the best one and he was sure he failed in that. He lowered his head, as to avoid eye contact and headed towards the stairs. However, he would know if anybody commented on his actions, because of his hearing, something that didn't want to happen because it would make him feel like a joker. Not something that would anger him, but it would certainly spoil his mood. Without realizing it, he was in front of the temple's door. Then he remained still. Worried, Paco asked:

"Is there something wrong, Blaze?"

"I do not know how to open a door..."

The other woman responded in a way that surprised Alicia. The compliment completely caught her off guard and she found herself blushing. M-me...? I'm nothing more than average, really... She even stammered in her thoughts as she attempted to come up with a response to such a novel way of responding to her entry into the scene and found no luck in responding, but thankfully she was saved when the girl continued on with the conversation. "I believe so, but I am not quite sure if it is a good or a bad thing." Alicia nodded, letting the surprise of the elegant woman's former words fade away.

"I guess I'm a bit more decided on the subject, then..." Unconsciously, she glanced away, somewhat out of shame when she considered the other's feelings. When she looked back, however, it seemed that she payed no mind to the quip, as she was smiling at her.

"I am Evangeline." The woman spoke with a soft, gentle tone as she introduced herself and Alicia responded in kind.

"Endless. Though, I prefer Alicia. It's prettier, you know?" She had to keep herself from saluting the woman, an annoying habit she had picked up after someone had mentioned upon introduction that she was cute when she saluted. Though it was only a few months ago, it felt like ages. Instead, she just smiled in return before continuing the conversation. "How long have you been here? This world, I mean. I think I've been here for a week now." Alicia looked around the area. As she expected from a place with such an ornate exterior, the atrium was lavishly decorated with various flowers and green-life. Even at the high altitude, Alicia could hear birds chirping in the garden and the fountain had a steady sound of streaming water emanating from it. A few different varieties of fish swam within its clear water, giving an impression of watching a living rainbow.

Suddenly, Alicia realized that there was an essential question that she must ask if she were to get anywhere in this world. She hesitated somewhat before asking it, however, wondering if it was a not too much of a nosy question to be asking. However, considering the situation, it was most likely an inevitable question, so she pushed it out. "Hey, since we're all deities, or something like that, in this place, who are you? If you know, that is. A-and, of course, if it's not too bothersome of a question." Alicia stammered somewhat as she gave a justification for her question, but she figured shortly afterward that this Evangeline seemed to be not the kind to be bothered by such a question.

Awaiting her response, Alicia decided to look over her features. She had what looked to be a sapphire on her forehead and comely features. To her own jealousy, Evangeline also wasn't at all lacking in curves, unlike herself. As she realized this, her spirits dropped ever so slightly, but she made a particular effort of keeping her amiable expression while she patiently awaited her new acquaintance's response.

She took the girl's hand lightly, shaking it in a respectful manner before returning her hand to her side. She mentioned her name, but something made Evageline frown as she mentioned another name. "I think Endless is a beautiful name, it says a lot about who you are if I may say." She smiled once more, returning the warmth to the conversation. "I shall call you Endless and your greatest victories, but I too love the name Alicia." She paused and looked around along with her, enjoying the view. She wished she had a definite answer on how she felt about this all but for the most part she could not complain. Wildlife, and new sites excited and calmed her.

She felt herself grow pale as she asked her how long she had been here, and that she had been here for a week. She paused and searched her thoughts, where did she spend the last couple of nights? It was as if she woke up here and spent only a day wandering around, but a week? That was a hard question to ask Evaline, she sometimes would be sucked in to people's day dreams and spend a day in their life. She could barely remember what's real and what's not. Her face brightened again as she strained all her thoughts to dissipate. "I believe I have only been here for a day but.." Her words trailed off as she looked away once more, back in to the fountain.

We were all deities, her calm face turned tense. What exactly was partaking in such a place? She finally came back to her senses, and blinked back until her face met to a smile again. "I am sorry. I am the Deity of Complexity. I can hear people's thoughts, wake up in others dreams, I am where all the world's curiosity comes from." She shrugged slightly, it wasn't a silver platter like she tried to make it sound. She actually had no idea what it meant to be the Deity of Complexity, what happened to her had nothing to do with complexity, or atleast that is what she felt like. "What about you?" She asked in full curiosity.

Ryko sat in the library for a long while, just... waiting for something to happen. I wonder... what the others will be like? He asked himself, curious. Maybe... He should go out and look. Seek them out. Being alone was never his forte, anyway. Too much time spent alone with his thoughts, he didn't need them. He sighed and sat up from the table, jumping off into a standing position. He smiled to himself and walked out into the hallway. He looked around but he couldn't see anyone in the building yet really.save for two girls he found sitting by a fountain in one of the many rooms. He blinked, oddly curious, yet glad to have found someone. Though... He stood just outside the doorway, weighing his options. Would the girls be upset with him if he barged into their conversation? Probably... Most people did. Though... He took in a deep breath and let it all out with a slow exhale. He peaked into the room again. No... harm in trying right?

He stepped into the doorway and smiled at the two girls. "I... uh... hope you don't mind me barging in. I'm Ryko." He projected to the two women. They both had black hair, one a bit taller than the other. The only difference he could spot between the two were their heights and their eyes. One had sparkling blue eyes like his and the other gray, almost black eyes. What sort of deities were they? He grinned at them before walking deeper into the room, inspecting it's walls. The room looked a bit like a lounge room, seats jutting out from the walls with decorative pillows. He sat down at one of the seats, his legs crossed as he watched the two girls.

Evangeline had an interesting way of shaking Alicia's hand. She did it in a way that seemed dainty, but it still felt wholesome and generous, somewhat comforting to her. On a contrasting note though, she frowned when Endless gave her preference for the name 'Alicia'. "I think Endless is a beautiful name, it says a lot about who you are if I may say." Evangeline said to her, smiling once again. She smiles a lot. She silently remarked as she listened. "I shall call you Endless and your greatest victories, but I too love the name Alicia." While she normally should have felt flattered by the compliment at the end, Alicia felt rather... chaffed by the use of her real name. No, really, I prefer Alicia. she wanted to say, but she kept her small annoyance in her head and away from her features, keeping a friendly smile.

Suddenly, her conversation-partner grew pale at her question regarding how long she had been there, seeming to be in the dark about the exact time. Alicia instantly regretted asking the question and thus bringing grief to her and was about to apologize when she responded. "I believe I have only been here for a day but.." Her voice trailed off and she broke eye-contact to look into the fountain. Alicia decided to leave her be for the moment and instead silently awaited her response to the last question, watching a bird hop around on the ground. She jumped somewhat when she responded, as she had fallen into something of a trance as she watched the small bird. I am sorry. I am the Deity of Complexity. I can hear people's thoughts, wake up in others dreams, I am where all the world's curiosity comes from."

"Uh... woah. That's really... important. Really impressive, compared to what I've got..." She couldn't help but immediately comment and she lightly scoffed at the end to keep a light feeling on the conversation.

"What about you?" Evangeline asked in a curious tone and Alicia uneasily smiled as she came up with a response.

"Promise not to laugh? I told you, it's nothing impressive like yours, so..." Observing her features, however, Alicia could see that Evangeline seemed decent enough not to laugh, no matter how insignificant it was. "Alright... So, get this; I'm apparently the deity of flight, but I can't even fly by myself. That's some harsh irony, huh?" She forced herself to chuckle to lighten it down, but it seemed it needed more explanation. "You see, I can run really fast, I'm as nimble as... some nimble thing, I have an affinity with flying things and I may or may not be able to survive really bad falls, but no flying. Pretty impressive, right?" She made an sarcastic comment, but just as she finished, a man entered the atrium. Tan and thin of build, he had a casual way of walking and as he opened his mouth, Alicia observed that he had an equally casual way of speaking too.

"I... uh... hope you don't mind me barging in. I'm Ryko."

Subtle.

"Endless, or preferably Alicia. A pleasure." She glared at him for ruining the delicate, fragile but comfortable atmosphere with his entry and even as he sat down and Alicia attempted to return to normal conversation, she couldn't shake the feeling of him being there, watching them. It was definitely not a comfortable feeling. The black haired girl quickly looked for a way to escape the situation and upon finding it, she began to head for the doorway, clearly speaking as she turned away. "I feel... peckish. Please excuse me." She curtly saluted (Old habits die hard...) before leaving the atrium and entering the hallway.

He blinked, watching the girl leave almost as soon as he had entered. "Seems I made the wrong decision..." He mumbled, slightly depressed by her reaction to his entry. his cheeks growing hot. He pursed his lips, his chest feeling uncomfortable. What? He looked down, putting his hand over his chest. Why? That was the only question he could ask himself. He'd never been like this with humans. They'd scorn him and attack him for ruining their lives. Someone had to have a easy going attitude, right? He turn to look at the taller female, his heart still squeezing tight, almost as if he were nervous. "Sorry... I didn't mean to make her... or you run off. I just..." He sighed and pulled his legs into his lap, looking towards the doorway where the girl, Alicia, had fled. "Seems I've made her angry..." He mumbled, his eyes showing his sadness.

He turned to the other female, sitting at the fountain. "You can leave and go catch her if you'd like. I'll be fine by myself. Promise." He told her, a big grin on his face, his cheeks still red hot from embarrassment. Maybe I'm not cut out for this... He thought, putting himself down. He let out a long sigh. He needed to stop being so emotional. Surely, they all wouldn't treat him like that, right? Surely one of them would be kind to him, the Deity of Rebirth. Someone, right?

Xabiz slowly made his way towards the temple. He saw others go by him from the corners of his eyes and run to be in the temple. He sighed, there wasn't any reason to try to get in first. What if the temple fell down on top of them? Or if there were traps within the corridors of the temple? Many different scenarios played out in the background of his mind, but none were silenced, only muffled by his want to not show his difference.

He reached the entrance of the temple as another entity sneezed... or roared loudly. It was quite an experience, hearing how loud someone else could be. Was that even human? He said entering the temple, not realizing that out of habit he shut the door behind him. A vision flashed to the front of his mind...

"Is there something wrong, Blaze?" A small... creature spoke to someone outside the temple door. Apparently, they were friends.

"I do not know how to open a door..."

Xabiz stopped halfway through the hall. Really? He doesn't know how to open a door? He thought, turning around and walking back to the door. When Xabiz got back to the door, he pulled on the door. It didn't have any locking mechanisms, or he didn't see any, and the door opened slightly.

"There. I think that will help Blaze." Xabiz said aloud, his thoughts becoming too much to just think things through and speaking aloud made it easier to 'hear himself think' as others had put it. He began to walk towards the Atrium as someone was walking towards him.

"Hello." Xabiz said as they walked towards each other. Although he didn't want to really interact with anyone, everyone deserves a friendly 'Hello' in passing.

Innocentius wondered about the greek mansion, exploring the rooms and hallways. It was a very large and interesting place, but he was more interested in the other people. According to the goddess, they were all Deities like himself, but what were they Deities of? He wanted so badly to walk up to every one and ask that question, but thought it might have been rude. Lots of them seemed like they had places to go, and others were chatting in groups. Suddenly, he felt very lonely. All alone in a building full of people.
