@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic@Bee
The Playground - Location Classified: August 30th, 2020 - 9:45 P.M.

@BlueSky44: The Wasp held up a hand, signaling for Sparky to wait for a moment. She then walked forward, looking at the broken Asgardian. The Wasp then reached into the bag she had attached to her armor, pulling out what looked to be straps of leather and she started wrapping Raynor with them. She tore his clothing and used it to supplement the strips, until she had stopped the bleeding for the most part. However, Raynor's pulse was slowing down and his heart was continuing to fail. He needed something to restart it - perhaps a spark.

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Playground - Dining
Skills: N/A

Hawkeye shook his head slightly, looking at Tempest for a moment. He felt she was selling herself a little short. "Even if they left a backdoor open for you, I doubt just anyone could have found it and used it - don't sell yourself short, Agent Renoir," he told her calmly. He gave her the slightest smile - in a way, her modesty reminded him a little bit of a friend of his, Dr. Banner. His other friend good with tech? Yeah, that guy was not modest at all. Tony always had to have applause.

Barton then nodded in agreement with Abercrombie. He was glad to have her as his second in command. She was capable and intelligent. "We need to clear out. We can secure the Playground and seal it off as we leave - but I think our best bet right now is the jet. It's been refueled and is ready to go - and since you're right, Kennedy probably knows about Creed Financial, the sooner we hit them, the better the chance we have."

Novikova bit her lip slightly. For someone who could see other realities and versions of a person, she had been pretty blind to the possibility that Jim had been the mole. "What about Sparky - Agent Sparks, I mean? If we abandon this base, we're abandoning the resources and tech here that could help us save them! They're trapped!"

Hawkeye looked at her in silence for a moment. "I'm sorry, Agent. We will bring them home - but right now, that's not our priority. Grab everything essential and let's meet on the jet. I'll have the base go into permanent lockdown."

"...We're doing everything we can, Novikova."

"No, we're not!" Novikova snapped. She then left the dining area, grabbing her things and she then headed to the hangar to get onto the jet as instructed.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Playground - Bio Engineering & Research
Skills:

Cassandra looked towards Flynn for a moment. "He's the mole I meant." Cass said sighing slightly as she rubbed the bridge of her nose, still she was surprised that Kennedy was HYDRA agent. She looked at Tempest for a moment, as she rubbed the back of her neck slightly. "It's information that you were still able to get, and information that we can use against them." Cass stated, looking towards Hawkeye and nodded towards him, they needed to get up and leave now. "I'll grab what equipment we can get then." Cassandra said listening to Novikova at her outburst, she knew the feeling all to well having a friend go missing.

"We will get them once we deal with HYDRA." Cassandra said, as she watched Novikova heading off to gather her things letting out a slight sigh. "I'll meet you guys on the Bus." Cassandra said as she turned around and started to make her way towards her room, and started to gather all of her personal belongings again. And then she left the room, and made her way over towards the Technology department and grabbed whatever she could before leaving and making her way over towards the hangar.

Harry McCormick

Location: The Playground
Skills: N/A

Harry looked towards Agent Abercrombie when she threatened him with her wrath later, which made him gulp ever so slightly, she did actually scare him a little bit, along with her power and control everyone's mind if needed. "I wont mention the song again." Harry said, he'd rather not piss her off right now either. Harry reached over and grabbed one last wing as well, his attention turned towards Hawkeye and nodded slightly towards him.

And quickly got up to his feet and started to make his way over towards his bedroom again and gathered everything that he had in his room. Once he had all of his things Harry started to make his way back out over towards the Hangar now he watched as Cassandra also came out and started to get her things as well and started to make his way over onto the jet as well.

Maria Smith

Location: The Playground
Skills: N/A

Maria shot Harry a look as well, the same one that Abercrombie had given him, and he shut up again, and went to grab his things as well as Cassandra left as well. She really wanted him to feel her wrath as well since Tinley had accused her of singing it in her head, she was surprised at Novikova's little outburst about Sparks. She wanted to help out her friend as much as she could, as she quickly followed after her since their rooms were right next to each other. Maria walked into her room and started to grab her things as well, and started to head out towards the hangar as well.

Maria quickly caught up to Novikova for a moment adjusting some of her things over her shoulder. "Hey, i'll help you out trying to find Sparky if you need it." Maria offered her, she hated to see her like that even if the others were also very much focused on taking the fight directly to HYDRA right now. Maria watched as some of the others started to meet up in the hangar as well, and started to make their way towards the jet.

Theresa Sparks

Location: The Quantum Realm
Skills: N/A

"Thank you..." she said to the Wasp when the woman seemed to help stop the bleeding that her own powers had not succeeded at doing. She was scared that Raynor was going to die, and was freaking out right now that he would leave her alone in the Quantum Realm. Sparky didn't want to lose him when they were trapped in a reality that they might not even be able to get out of. This was freaking her out, but she was doing her best to at least attempt to calm down, but that was when she noticed his heartbeat.

With his pulse slowing down, she knew that there wasn't much time before it stopped entirely. Taking a breath, she felt the electricity crackle along her hands, charging up. Maybe she could try to act as a defibrillator or something, that would hopefully fix him right? Sparky placed her hands on his chest, and there was a giant jolt of electricity as she shocked him, and she waited a moment to check his pulse, and was relieved to find that it was going more or less back to normal.

Frederick Flynn

Location: The Playground
Skills: N/A

Flynn just listened in on the comments made by the others involving Kennedy. There didn't seem to be another mole, at least in his eyes, though he didn't know anyone here very well. When Agent Bautista basically confirmed that suspicion that had been lying in the back of his mind, he nodded along. At least they didn't have to worry about having to deal with another mole at the moment, they did have more important things to do, like deal with HYDRA hopefully.

He could understand Novikova's wish to stay behind and try to rescue the ones stuck in the Quantum Realm of all places, but she did have to think about this completely through. They couldn't do anything for her until they had stopped HYDRA, and then they could put resources together to attempt to do it properly then, without interruptions. Surely she could understand that, since they ran the risk of HYDRA doing something stupid to mess with things again. "Well what are we waiting around for? Let's get going," he said simply, before heading off for the Bus as well.

There was no time to waste after these proceedings. They needed to get out of there as fast as they could -- every single asset that they had was more than likely compromised. The sooner they got back into the jet the better off they would be. Victoria wasn't going to waste any more time being in a place that was more than likely going to be the target of a HYDRA raid. However, there wasn't really much for Victoria to gather. All the weapons she could ever need were actually on the airplane, and Victoria didn't mind leaving things behind if it meant that she would be safe. Items could be replaced, but Victoria Thompson could not.

Getting off the wall she was leaning off of, Victoria made a bee-line for the jet. She didn't think twice about skipping the personal quarters. All that mattered was getting on board and making sure that everyone that was supposed to be on it, was actually on it. She really did wish that she had an ICER on her right now, though. It would've definitely came in handy if she were to run into someone that wasn't particularly friendly.

Niah Bautista

Location: Playground
Skills:Enhanced Hearing

Niah nodded, "I have one thing I need to do." She left the room, dropping her concentration on her powers. Her ears rang for a moment as they adjusted back to normal level of hearing. She found Sami's body and dug into his pocket to find his cell phone. "I am sorry friend, but someone has to call her." She searched through the contacts for a moment until she found a number listed "DO NOT ANSWER". Seemed likely. She wrote down the number and found a different phone. The chance that Sami's mom wouldn't answer the phone for him was high as well so she wanted a strange number and hoped the woman would answer that. Should she tell her that her son was dead? After she got the information she needed.

The phone rang, and when it was answered by a female voice, one Niah hopped was Sami's mom she said, "Hello, Esme Kanneh, I am Agent Niah Bautista. I was informed you had a message for Samuel Rhodes. Could you please pass the message to me?" It was straightforward and there was no technical lie. Though it was possible Mrs. Kanneh didn't know what the message was and that worried Niah. Not as much as the prospect of telling a woman her son was dead. Was Sami an only child? Would she be devastated? Niah knew they didn't get along but that didn't make the pain of losing a child any easier. Niah had seen first hand what that did to parents.

"... I don't know what you're talkin' about, sweetheart." Niah's heart dropped. Was she lying?

"Agent Rhodes said to contact you though. Do you know why he would do that then?"

"I haven't heard from Samuel in years, hun."

"Sorry for the confusion ma'am I mean Agent James Rhodes said to call you."

"Oh... Well, that's a surprise... I can't think of the last time I spoke to my brother in law either." Niah had no idea of this woman was lying, but there was a way she could check. She focused on her hearing. Maybe she could hear the woman's heartbeat through the phone? Seemed unlikely but she would give it a shot.

"Ah, so you don't know why he would want you to be contacted?" The woman's heart wasn't racing, she could hear it though, which was fascinating.

"I'm afraid not." Nothing changed. Niah frowned.

"Okay, thank you for your time ma'am." She couldn't bring herself to tell the woman her son was dead. Someone else would have to do it. "Have a lovely day." She added.

"You too hun." Niah cringed and hung up, leaving Sami's phone next to him. She quickly made it back to the bus, got a new clip of ammo for her ICER and curled up on the couch. That had been a dead end, and she still needed to talk to Abercombie about the other stuff she saw from Sami. She wasn't just going to talk about that in front of anyway though, not anymore.

Tinley Abercrombie

Location: The Playground -> Cargo Hold Trainng Ground
Skills: Hand-to-Hand Combat

Before she could stop her, Novikova stormed off and Tinley couldn't blame her. Her friend was stuck in the Quantum realm and everyone around her was talking about attacking a bank. Granted, Tinley knew the importance of this mission. It would significantly impair HYDRA's funding. What really irked her was that Kennedy had a head start. They would now have to go in quicker, meaning more room for errors.

"They're right Agent Renroir, your skills are invaluable. It would take the average person significantly longer to find that information, back door open or not. See if you can gather all relevant details and send them my, Hawkeye's and Cassandra's way. We'll get together in a bit and go over our plan of attack. If anyone needs me, I have a lot to vent out in the training area."

She left the group and changed into workout gear and attacked a training dummy. She was angry at how stupid she was to miss a mole. She was also angry at losing Sparky and Raynor to the Quantum Realm. And she felt guilty about Novikova. The last mission was horrendous, the next one had to be better.

Tempest Renroir

Location: The Playground
Skills: N/A

Tempest had never been complimented so many times before. She kind of liked it! She wiped an imaginary tear from her eye, "Golly gee, guys, you sure know how to make a gal feel needed. I'll have that information for you quickly. I'm going to root around some more and see if I can find anything else. Also, I'd like to keep an eye on it as I said. I'm going to attempt to track it on my phone so if these plans change, it will message me. Hopefully, we'll attack before then."

With that, Tempest got to work sending the info to the relevant parties and keeping an eye on Creed's plans, should they change due to Kennedy's influence. The amount of backstabbing that seemed to go around these parts worried her a bit, but most of the team seemed capable of dealing with it. Hell, they had a mind reader/influencer and someone who could read heartbeats. If another mole wanted to come through, they would have a hell of a time.

@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic@Bee
The Bus - U.S. Air Space: August 30th, 2020 - 10:00 P.M.

@BlueSky44:

Raynor woke up, coughing and looking weak. He had lost a lot of blood, something that even Asgardian physiology could not compensate for. "Lana?" he whispered, looking at her with confusion. His eyes widened a bit as he saw the Wasp, before realizing she was wearing a suit and was not some sort of alien (ironic, right?) there to eat him. "What... what happened?" he mumbled. He had short term memory loss from his ordeal.

"I'm Janet van Dyne," the Wasp finally said, breaking the silence. "What year is it?" she then asked, looking at Raynor and Sparky.

"Uh... 2020..."

"...Oh my god."

Bonnie Chase

Location: The Bus - Level One - Laboratory
Skills: N/A

The Bus' engines were humming away, happy to have been repaired at the Playground. When they left, they had shut the base down and armed it, hopefully strong enough to destroy any HYDRA operatives who went near it. Bonnie's mind had been on that briefly, but she was largely going through the laboratory and taking inventory on everything she could find there. They were critically short on medical supplies, having not been able to fully restock at the Playground. From her estimation, they only had enough to treat three gravely wounded agents - and that wasn't what she was comfortable with. She wanted enough to treat twenty.

However, what the laboratory lacked in medical supplies it more than made up for in experimental technology. There were more than just I.C.E.R.'s in these boxes. There was a gun that froze its target in solid ice. Two belts that were outfitted with antigravity devices, allowing the user to float and fly. There were suits that allowed for natural camouflage, adapting to the environment and general scenery to render the wearer invisible. Bonnie even found what looked like a tube of lipstick, but turned out to be a laser.

"Coulson would go nuts for this stuff..." Bonnie muttered, picking up a pair of what looked like roller skates, but they had small engines strapped onto them in order to allow for rocket like propulsion. There was a pair of sunglasses and when she put them on, she could see through walls. "Seriously this stuff is nuts..."

She then picked up her comm and turned it on. "Barton, Abercrombie, we're critically low on medical supplies - however, we hit the jackpot with experimental tech. It's like a Stark Industries going out of business sale in this lab."

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Bus - Level Two - Command Center
Skills: N/A

Novikova knew that she wasn't exactly being a happy camper. Sure, it made logical sense for them to go and hit Creed Financial now, while HYDRA was still relatively unaware of their plans. She knew that. But it also made logical sense to do everything she could for Sparky right now, before the probability fields changed and wave functions collapsed and her friend was lost forever. The tragic thing was deep down, Novikova knew that they had already lost their window - Sparky was as good as dead.

What was the point in saving the world if she couldn't even save her best friend?

Nikolai had given her some surprising words of encouragement in Russian. It was nice to be able to speak the language with someone, but at the same time, her mind was still just going over and over everything that had happened. There had to be some sort of way to rescue Sparky - to bring her home, even if it was just in a body bag...

"Copy that, Agent Chase," Hawkeye said. "Everyone, come to command center. Abercrombie's going to be going over the logistics of the mission." Tempest had managed to find the crucial details of the bank. It was defended with a mutant detection system, meaning the alarms would trip if most of their team entered the facility. Luminous was most likely inside as well on the prowl and the vault was reinforced with adamantium. They'd need to find a clever way to open it.

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Bus, Laboratory -> Command Center
Skills:

Cassandra had helped with getting the inventory set up as well, looking at all of the experimental tech that they managed to get lucky and have. She looked over towards Bonnie and smirked a slight bit, and nodded having worked with Coulson before a number of times before. "I'd have more of a hardon at this point." Cassandra said with a slight laugh as she looked up at the speaker came up, hearing hawkeye's voice on the other end. She was ready to take the fight directly to HYDRA now at this point, as she finished looking at the things that were there.

She then started to make her way up the set of stairs, and made her way towards the Command Center on the Bus, Cassandra then made her way towards her spot and sat down. Still the thought of Kennedy being the mole really did annoy her, the rest of the team was cleared though which was a very good thing. Cassandra started to look at those who were in the room, and towards Novikova again hoping that she would be okay enough to proceed with the mission, knowing that Sparky and Raynor were still both in her head as well.

Harry McCormick

Location: The Bus, Laboratory -> Command Center
Skills: N/A

"That's a little bit to much information." Harry said, rolling his eyes slightly, and shuddered at the thought of it as he looked and took the rest of the inventory of what gear that they had on the Bus. Which was a very nice set of weapons and gear that they had on the Bus as well. Harry shook his head ever so slightly, he really did not like Stark Industries for laying him off several years ago but he did assume that some of the tech before him was made by them as well.

Harry then heard Hawkeye's voice over the radio and started to make his way as well following shortly behind Agent Reed up to the Command Center, and pulled his seat up. He started to quietly hum Friday again in his head, as he leaned back in the chair eyeing Agent Reed for a second and then the others, he was ready to get the mission started they were after all in this together and wondered who they would be paired up with for the mission as well.

Maria Smith

Location: The Bus, Command Center
Skills: N/A

Once Maria had gotten up onto the Bus, she made her way towards her cabin and started to put her things away again, figuring that they would be calling the Bus home for awhile now as well until they could deal with HYDRA, she looked at some of her clothes again wondering which one would work best right now. Tinley had gone off to practice in the workout area in the cargo hold, she then stopped what she had been doing when she heard Hawkeye's voice over the radio.

Maria then left her cabin, and made her way over towards the Command Center, and entered the room seeing Novikova there along with Nikolai as well as Agents Reed and McCormick there sitting at their parts of the table. She decided to walk over and found a seat next to Novikova and gave her a slight smile before looking over at the rest who would be joining shortly.

Theresa Sparks

Location: The Quantum Realm
Skills: N/A

"...Whose Lana?" she couldn't help but ask, but she was relieved to hear that he was talking again at least. It meant that he was alive, for the moment anyway, but he'd lost quite a bit of blood, and she couldn't help but be worried about him still. Sure, he was from Asgard, but still, that didn't mean he couldn't get injured horribly or something. As long as he was okay, she didn't really care about where they were, even if they were stuck in a really bad place like the Quantum Realm. Which she still had no idea how to get out of.

Turning, she looked at the Wasp, and could understand her reaction. From what she knew, Van Dyne had been gone for a while, though the fact that she hadn't even realized how long she had been gone made her worry slightly about how it was to be stuck where they were. Who knew how long it had even been in reality, and they didn't even know it. "Uh, yeah... It's currently 2020, been a while... So from the sounds of things no real obvious way out of here then..."

Frederick Flynn

Location: The Bus - Command Center
Skills: N/A

Flynn headed up towards the command center, following Hawkeye's directions. Though he still was a bit annoyed with Barton flat out, it was really getting on his nerves how often the guy was teasing him for what he's done in the past. He's been trying to move past all of that, move on from the things that he's done, but certain people were making that hard for him. Honestly, sometimes it just made him slightly regret even joining SHIELD and not going with Demetria wherever the hell she had gone.

Entering the area, he glanced around at everyone else who had shown up so far. Not too many people, that was for sure, seemed like some were being a bit on the slow side. He gave a slight smile at Cass, not really letting on what he was thinking, and decided to say something. "So, what's the big bad plan to take them out? Or is this going to be an old fashioned charge right in and see what happens?" he asked, saying the last part with a hing of sarcasm in his voice.

Tinley Abercrombie and Tempest Renroir

Location: Command Center
Skills: N/A

The plan took some time to come up with, but Tinley felt confident in the team's abilities. It would be useful to have the entire team here, but they would tackle that issue once the time came. Tempest had done her best to acquire all relevant information and send it to them. She had monitored activity and it seemed like nothing changed. But Kennedy knew her so maybe they were warned ahead of time.

As everyone assembled into the Command Center, TInley took a few minutes to collect herself. Once everyone was there, she began. "First, I would like to say that I am confident in your abilities. This is going to be an intense mission and a lot could go wrong. We've seen in our last mission what could happen, but I believe in you all."

"To start, we are going to be sneaking into Creed Financial to do major damage to HYDRA. Do not let the end goal blind you though, this is going to be hard. Kennedy was a mole and he knew our plans so he may have tipped them off. From what Tempest has said, their current plans did not change, but that may be a smoke screen so prepare for worse case scenarios. We will be splitting off into three teams, each with their own leader. Team 1 will be handling the mutant detection system as that will throw a wrench into all other plans. Hawkeye will lead that team along with Tempest for computer skilsl and Flynn. Since none of them are mutants, it won't detect them. Team 2 will be handling Luminous. We know they are dangerous and they need to be taken care of. Cassandra will be leading that team along with Novikova, Victoria, and Nikolai. The last team will be going to the vault to empty it out. I will lead that with Maria and Niah. Now, Bonnie and Harry may have noticed they weren't on any team. That is because they will be our back-up and ace up our sleeve. I want you both monitoring everything from cameras to alarms to police calls, what have you. If anything seems sketchy, let us know and if we need help they can come in and provide back-up."

"I won't lie to you all. This could go wrong a number of ways. But if you go in with a clear head, we'll handle it. If anyone has questions, feel free to come find me or Hawkeye or Cassandra. Otherwise, prepare what you need to and get ready."
Tinley let the floor rest, feeling like she gave one of her best speeches.

@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic@Bee
The Bus - Washington D.C.: August 30th, 2020 - 10:15 P.M.

Case Name: Mission Impossible
Lead Reason: Sneak past security and disable the Mutant Security Detection System at Creed Financial.
Secondary Reason: Keep an eye out for anything suspicious
Player Characters: Agent Flynn, Agent Renoir
NPCs: Hawkeye
Time: 7 Days Real Life

Bonnie Chase

Location: The Bus - Level Two - Command Center
Skills: N/A

Bonnie nodded, putting her hair into a messy ponytail as she headed down to Command Center with Cass. It reminded her of the old days, when the two of them weren't very established yet as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. They had saved Cass' sister so many times that Bonnie was a bit impressed with Carolina's knack to find trouble. It was nice being able to work with her again. Bonnie herself had actually been considered for the Phase Three program, but she had been deemed unfit. Her history of depression made them worried she wouldn't be the ideal candidate.

It didn't bother Bonnie too much - she knew she wasn't perfect and she didn't want to be a lab rat. She grimaced slightly as the team orders were given out. She wasn't being sent into the field. Bonnie supposed it was to be expected - she didn't have powers and her specialty was autopsies and medicine. It made sense to keep her back, but her friends were about to go out and risk their lives. She wanted to help them.

The Bus landed at a hangar in Washington D.C. while Tinley was speaking. It was only a block or so away from Creed Financial and luckily, the owner of the hangar was an old friend of Barton's. Bonnie rolled her eyes slightly, realizing that it was a Stark Industries hangar. Of course.

"Renoir, Flynn, with me," Hawkeye said, as he grabbed his supplies and headed off of the plane, emerging into the night air. Fortunately it was late at night, so the humidity Washington D.C. was famous for wasn't nearly as strong as it could have been.

Flynn went to follow Hawkeye, before stopping for a second, and he turned towards Agent Chase. He walked over, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her. When he pulled away, he smirked slightly, before he turned and walked away, following after Hawkeye now. "So, let's get this show on the road," he said, walking off the plane.

Bonnie rocked back slightly on her heels, looking a little bit satisfied with herself. "And here I thought you were gay," Hawkeye muttered to Flynn outside.

Dominika Novikova

Location: the Bus - Level Two - Command Center
Skills: N/A

Novikova tilted her head, making a bit of a face at Maria. She did NOT see that one coming. Granted, they had only recently been absorbed into Hawkeye's team but Bonnie and Flynn? It hadn't even crossed her mind. It also reminded her of Sparky and Ray... Who else here was part of a couple that she didn't know about? Well, technically her and Maria were something - friends with benefits - but she honestly didn't know how much that label worked anymore.

"Good luck, guys," Novikova told the team that was leaving, before she turned to Cass. She had a bit of an idea come to mind. Luminous, from what they could gather, had the powers of both of her genetic donors: Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. Cass had the ability to change the seasons. "Agent Reed, if I might make a suggestion? When we go into Creed Financial, make it frosty. It's a known way to slow a speedster down," she explained.

Not to mention it had been a plot device on the Flash TV show and one of her Sci-Tech professors had actually lectured on it, but she wasn't going to bring up that she got the idea from TV.

Boarding the bus wasn't a very hard task to undertake, and neither was being on it and taking in the mission at hand. So, the heist (the best word Victoria could use to describe it) was really going to happen. She didn't know that she was going to be carrying out insane tasks like this, but in scenarios like this, in a world where HYDRA managed to infiltrate one of the world's most elusive agencies and take it down from the inside out, she supposed that everything was fair game and was no longer off limits. During the briefing, it was revealed that Victoria was going to be put on the same team as Agents Novikova, Hill, Reed, and Vasyutin.

It was going to be the first time she was going to work with the majority of these people -- but Victoria hoped that it wouldn't be the last. Other than that, she didn't really know how things were gonna go down. Getting out of her chair, she made her way over to who she assumed to Novikova, who was in the middle of conversation already. Victoria had to wait a little bit and make sure that her proceedings and conversations were over before she made her introduction. "So... it looks like we'll be working together." Victoria slowly studied the woman in front of her, before reaching out a hand to greet her, "I don't believe we've met before - I'm Agent Victoria Thompson, but you can call me Victoria."

Niah Bautista

Location: The Bus
Skills: N/A

Niah had joined the team and listened to Agent Abercrombie give orders. There had recently been a change in Niah's feelings toward Abercrombie. She had never liked the woman as she was too bitchy for Niah's taste, but at least she seemed to be a strong leader. When the meeting adjourned Niah was left with some downtime. Everything had felt so rushed in the days since Phase three she hadn't had time to wrap her head around all of it.

"Agent Abercrombie I need to speak with you about something I saw." The images from when she had touched Sami played through her head. The secret order from Fury, the cryptic phone call from Agent James Rhodes, and then, of course, the conversation she had had with Sami's mom. It didn't make sense. Niah wanted Abercrombie's opinion on it. Especially about Sami's failed secret mission, he hadn't killed von Bardas, instead, he was dead.

"You really need to learn to shut up or something Barton, and I do mean that, also, why would you think that? Anyway that is besides the point. What's the plan to disable the mutant detection system or whatever it is?" he asked, looking over at Hawkeye and Tempest, essentially ignoring what had just happened on the plane with Bonnie. He didn't think they needed to know, or understand, what the hell had just happened, so he went straight to thinking about the best course of action in this situation, but he was waiting to hear Hawkeye's suggestion since he was the leader of the group.

Barton just chuckled slightly to himself. He took out a pair of binoculars, looking through them as he examined the target building. "No guards on the exterior," Hawkeye commented. "And...let me take care of the cameras," he then said, drawing an arrow from his quiver. He knocked it in his bow and took the shot, hitting each camera one by one. The arrows were what he liked to call goober arrows - they caused security feeds to loop for fifteen minutes.

"Okay, I did my part. Renoir, your lead," he said, looking at the expert hacker. "We have fifteen minutes before the goober wears off."

Tempest, having now been fully equipped with the necessary tools, came out to overlook the scenario. She quickly made her way forward, scaling down the building, hoping the other two would be close behind. She snuck her way over, thankful that she was not a mutant. Guards would be patrolling on the inside if they weren't outside then, which made things a bit harder. "We'll need to keep an eye out for guards patrolling around." She made her way over to the side of the building.

The side door there would be accessible, but Tempest pulled up her watch and the digital keyboard in it. She scanned the door, and saw it was connected to an alarm. After a few inputs, the alarm was disabled. "We're in boys. After you."

Flynn edged quietly through the door, not even really waiting for the other two behind him. He did a quick scan of the immediate area, and seeing no one, made his way along a little ways. After a few moments of looking at the area, he went back to where the other two were, "Coast is clear it seems, but we should still move quickly, quietly, and with caution, so let's go find the way to disable that mutant detection system then," he said softly to the two of them, before he started heading back down the hallway slowly.

Once Flynn confirmed the coast was clear, Tempest brought up the building's schematics on her watch. It showed the whereabouts of the system. She took the lead again, glancing around to be sure no guards showed up to surprise them, but it was relatively quiet. "Far be it from me to complain, but doesn't this seem a bit too unguarded? I was expecting more security than cameras and an alarm." Either way, she managed to get to the front offices.

"All right, it should be in here. Keep a lookout as it may take me a bit to disable it." She entered the door and took out her digital keyboard again, hooking into the network. She would have to be careful. She could trigger the alarm if she was careless.

Flynn glanced down the hallway, noticing a pair of guards heading their way. "Back in a moment," he whispered, before he made his way towards them quietly. They seemed to notice him when he reached them, but that didn't matter, he easily took them out, knocking them out. With the help of Hawkeye, they managed to restrain the pair and put them in a closet.

Tempest tried, but the system was a tough one. Luminous wasn't there to allow her access this time. "Going to need more time boys. This system is acting like a bitch."

He saw two more guards heading their way, "Great, more people coming... Might want to hurry up a bit," he mumbled, before he tried to knock the two out the same way. He only managed to knock one of them out easily, before the other one managed to pin him, a night stick to his throat. Well, this definitely could be going better for him.

Tempest could hear the sounds of a scuffle out of the office so she knew Flynn and Hawkeye had company. She attempted again to get into the system, hearing a soft *bing* as soon as she did. "I'm in! Give me a few more minutes to shut it down and I'll come help." She also knew that if they were injured, at least she was a healer. The other teams would not fair so well.

Luckily for him, his strength went in his favor. He used to play sports in school, he was used to people tackling him or something, so he managed to flip things around and get out of the pin. Another moment later he had knocked the guy out, and went about doing the same thing as before, restrain and lock them up somewhere, anywhere really. Flynn didn't care too much at this point where they stuck the guy.

And then she was booted out. A fricken failsafe? These bastards were paranoid. "Son of a bitch! Knocked out again." However, she had already gotten in the first time, so the second go around was easier. Once inside, she knew about the failsafe. "Sorry boys, almost done."

Flynn overheard one of the radios go off, sounded like someone was asking where they were and why they weren't responding. That was going to be a problem, since it meant that if they didn't hear something or get a response it, more guards were going to head their way. He picked up one of the radios, and spoke into it. "Yeah, sorry about that, got a little sidetracked," he said, trying to sound somewhat convincing, but knowing fully well that he had failed miserably. Setting the radio down, he looked at the other two, "Damn it! Pretty sure Han Solo would sound more convincing than I did... So you might want to hurry up, pretty sure we're going to have some company in a few minutes."

"Don't worry about it, Harrison Ford," Hawkeye said, shaking his head slightly as he put his hood up. His arrows were at the ready in his quiver. He spotted a guard come down the hallway, likely to respond to Flynn's obvious lie, and Hawkeye let his arrow fly. It connected with the guard and he was zapped with electricity until he passed out. Hawkeye then grabbed the radio. "All clear," he said, informing any other guards in the facility. He then crushed the radio under his foot on the ground. "Renoir, you ready for us to radio back to base and say the next wave can come in?"

Tempest worked quickly, knowing the teams had to get in soon and they needed to skedaddle before reinforcements showed up. She bypassed the stupid failsafe and went to work shutting it all down. "Almost there....almost....got it!" The detection system was off. "It's off, but I can't turn it off indefinitely. It will reboot in an hour. Relay that to the others and let's get out of here." She pulled the keyboard away and left the office to join the other two.

Hawkeye nodded. "Brava Team, Charlie Team, you are a go," he said into his comm.

Battle Nurses!

Harry leaned back in the seat as he started to bring up the team's vitals as, he then looked over towards Bonnie. "So you and Agent Flynn a thing now?" Harry asked as he rubbed the back of his neck looking over towards the nearby window seeing the Stark Industries logo of the hangar that they were in and shook his head slightly.

"What?" Bonnie said, setting down two energy drinks in between them on the console. She had prepped the laboratory as best as she could for any emergency medical procedures and she had her comm dialed in to listen on all available frequencies. "Oh, that. No, we're not a thing," Bonnie said, looking at the readouts on the screen. There wasn't anything abnormal - a few elevated pulses but that was normal for this sort of thing. Everyone was nervous. She then tapped the dog tags she wore around her neck - they had belonged to her deceased husband, James. He had been a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent too, working in Operations.

Harry reached over and opened the engery drink can and started to take a sip from it, he then looked over at Bonnie as she answered his question. "Well he kissed ya so he obviously does like you." Harry said as he started to bring up the communications, managing to find the channel HYDRA was using. "So, happen to know any Morse Code by any chance?" Harry could tell what it was, but never had the time nor the chance to really learn it.

Bonnie shook her head. "I was supposed to take a seminar on it sophomore year at Sci-Tech, but the professor ended up canceling it," she said. "However, I have two ideas on how we can get around this. First one is that maybe there's a program that'll decipher it for us on the server," Bonnie suggested. "And all else fails... WikiHow can be shockingly helpful at times," she said, pulling up Google and typing in Understand Morse Code. She figured Harry would have the easiest time getting the program from the server if it existed, he was from Communications after all.

"Something I should have taken while in the academy as well, but i'll see if there is a program of some kind." Harry said, as he started to search through some of the programs that they had, doing everything that he could think of and even rewording what he was looking for before setting it down. "Looks like we have to use Google, since it has just about everything."

"Fantastic - if this goes horribly, we'll just have to give them only two stars," Bonnie said, pulling up the article on WikiHow. She read through the instructions and then started explaining them to Harry. It didn't seem too hard - they just needed to write down the dots and dashes, and then match them up in order to read the message.

"A half star would be a better response." Harry said, as he took out a pen and paper and started to look at the google page as well, writing down what he could at least understand. "What I am getting right now. 'FENRIS, RESPOND. ASSET IS ROGUE.'." Harry said, as he looked over towards Bonnie.

"Fenris..." Bonnie thought for a moment. "Did you go to Professor Kettleburn's seminar on enhanced terrorism last summer?" Bonnie asked Harry, putting in a quick search into the S.H.I.E.L.D. files. She pulled up information on Andrea and Andreas Von Strucker. Their family owned Creed Financial, but the twin terrorists themselves had died in the 80's. "Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have nothing on Fenris... I hope it's just a codename they're using for the baron. If not... We could be in trouble."

"Yes I did, the twins have a pretty disturbing power when they are together." Harry said, as he started to bring up all of the camera feeds throughout the facility. "Lets just hope that they didn't clone them or anything." Harry said seeing the teams and then the silver blur on a few of the screens. "Luminous is on the move by the looks of it."

Bonnie grimaced slightly. "I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that not very many mutant siblings know how to combine their powers like that..." She then saw the silver blur as well. "Can you pinpoint her location? So we can route the Luminous team to her?"

Harry sat there as he continued to watch the cameras the silver blur was going way to fast for him to track. “She’s going way to fast right now for me to even see, unless there was a way to slow her down from here.”

"...Is there any way you can turn the AC on full blast in the building?" Bonnie suggested. The metabolism of speedsters made it so that way they didn't do well in the cold - though Bonnie wasn't too sure whether she believed that. She more believed that they just had a harder time accelerating their molecules and atoms as temperatures dropped. "Maybe we can slow her down a bit."

”I’ll see if I can try to.” Harry said as he started to bring up a hacking program and tried to get into the buildings climate control. Harry groaned loudly as he rubbed the bridge of his nose, getting locked out. ”Can’t really from here.”

"Well that's annoying then," Bonnie said, feeling a bit frustrated. She wanted to be able to help the team more than they currently were.

"Well i'm up for other ideas." Harry said, knowing the same feeling as well as he looked up at the screen again, as he tried to think of something else.

"Hey kids, did you miss me?" Agent Kennedy said, as he walked into view. He was in his rock form and most of his damage had been healed. Tempest and Bonnie had done too good of a job healing him. Bonnie went to hit the distress signal, only for Kennedy to grab her arm. "Both of you, out of the seats, now," he said, before looking at Harry. "Or I'll turn you into statues."

Harry jumped slightly when he heard Agent Kennedy's voice as he quickly turned and came into view, he was about to get up when Bonnie tried to hit the distress signal, only to be grabbed by him. "Alright, alright." Harry said, as he stood up holding his hands up in the air, and looked towards him. "Just don't Medusa us or anything, or take us to Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium."

"What?" Jim asked, shaking his head slightly. His charismatic and charming personality was largely gone. It had been a manipulative act apparently - either that or he was just incredibly stressed. He then prodded Harry away from the console, forcing Bonnie backwards as well.

"You won't get away with this," Bonnie couldn't help but say, despite how cliché it was. Jim chuckled slightly, yanking the dog tags off of Bonnie's neck. "I miss James," Jim said, before he turned the dog tags to stone and crushed them in his grip. He let the gravel drop to the ground and tears welled up in Bonnie's eyes.

"Asshole," she cursed at him.

"What? You've never read the books before? You should read them, they are pretty good." Harry asked, as he felt Kennedy prodding his back and simply moved forward looking over at Bonnie for a moment as he took the dog tags off of her neck and crushed them easily once they were stone. Feeling bad for Bonnie, as he thought of ways to distract him. "I mean you can watch the two movies, but they are complete and utter shit. So do they call you Medusa in HYDRA? If so that is a pretty lame name."

Jim looked at Harry, shaking his head slightly. Bits of dust hit the ground from the motion. Rock heads weren't exactly supposed to move like that. "We don't pick stupid names like the Avengers - it's honestly not that different from S.H.I.E.L.D. We're just willing to do what it takes to help people," Jim said, thinking of his nephew for a moment. Something about what Jim said gave Bonnie an idea. She remembered the circumstances of how he had gotten his abilities - he was given Isotope E during a classified mission in Serbia.

He was a mutate. There were terrigen crystals on the Bus, right? There had to be some in research. She then remembered with a jolt seeing a box in the lab. If they could expose Kennedy to those crystals, his rock form wouldn't be able to save him. They were toxic to anyone but inhumans. "Too bad you're a coward," Bonnie said, spitting at Jim.

"So, helping people and being former Nazis helps people and betraying people who are suppose to be your friends? Or are you still planning World War Three. And do you all still scream Hail HYDRA?" Harry asked, he wasn't liking Kennedy at all, as he continued to move.

Jim smacked Bonnie across the face, cutting her cheek. He then threw her into Harry, sending them both sprawling to the ground like bowling pins. However, they were both practically near the exit and Bonnie saw their chance. "Lab - Terrigen," Bonnie whispered to Harry, as she jumped to her feet and took off at a run, zigzagging as she went for cover.

Harry turned around as he watched him smack Bonnie across the face, wincing slightly as he felt Bonnie being thrown onto him and knocked him down onto the floor. Groaning slightly, as he rolled over onto his side looking over at Bonnie as she whispered to him, he wasn't sure what Terrigen would do but she was the medical expert. Harry simply nodded as he got up as quickly as he could and made a straight run towards the lab following right behind her eventually making it to the lab.

"We can't touch them directly," Bonnie mumbled. They didn't have a lot of time. They'd need to find something - a glove maybe - so that way they could avoid skin contact with the crystals. And then they'd need to make sure only Kennedy was hit with it and not them. "Can you get it? I'll hold him off," Bonnie said quickly. She grabbed the gravity belt she had seen before and put it on, hitting the dial and her feet drifted off of the ground.

Just in time, Jim burst into the lab, completely livid. "A Periodic Table won't save you."

"No touching the crystal got it.." Harry said as he started to search around the lab for a pair of gloves, opening drawers and cabinets groaning loudly as he couldn't find one at all. He watched Bonnie grabbing one of the antigravity belts that were there, seeing Kennedy bursting through the lab. "Fuck it." Harry said to himself as he took off his shirt and opened up the case of Terrigen crystals he started to wrap it around in his shirt and threw it directly towards Kennedy, feeling part of the crystal touching his arm ever so slightly as it left his hand.

Harry's hand instantly hardened up, looking like solid concrete. It was spreading up his arm and if he didn't act soon, it would cover his entire body and he would die. Terrigen crystals were toxic to humans, mutates, and mutants. But Bonnie's eyes followed the arc of the crystal from above, seeing it hit Kennedy. By reflex, the HYDRA agent caught the projectile and started at it for a moment. His skin seemed to ripple, attempting to stay in the rock form but he was forced out of it.

Back in the body of a normal man, the crystal transformed Kennedy's body rapidly, until he collapsed to the ground in a pile of ash, dead. The crystal dropped to the ground and by some miracle, it didn't shatter. It rolled around and stopped once it hit a cabinet, just lying there. "Damn it, Harry, hold on, this is going to hurt!" Bonnie cursed, undoing the belt. She dropped to the ground and glanced around, trying to locate a bone saw. Instead, she found something better.

It was essentially a knife sized lightsaber. "What's your favorite color?" Bonnie asked, kneeling down next to him.

Harry stared down at his left hand, seeing it quickly starting to turn into a rock like substance he wasn't even sure what to do looking over towards Bonnie, getting really nervous now. He looked at the pile of ash that was now Kennedy, he really didn't want to become like that. Watching Bonnie grabbing what looked like a knife, feeling the weird sensation continue. "Uh, green I guess? Just do it quick." Harry said.

Once Harry told her his favorite color, Bonnie sliced through him with the mini lightsaber, severing his left hand from the rest of his body. The hand hit the ground and shattered into a thousand pieces, and since it was a lightsaber of sorts she cut it off with, the wound instantly cauterized. Bonnie let out a slight sigh of relief. "Let's get you some morphine," she told Harry, getting up and going to find what painkillers they had on hand.

The moment the lightsaber knife cut into his left hand Harry let out an extremely loud scream and yell of pain, and started to curse like a really bad drunken sailor. He looked down at the burnt off stump now, the entire left side of his body felt like it was on fire he felt his legs shaking rather badly. "Beer would be good to.." Harry said between heavy breathes he felt like he wanted to vomit all over the place as well.

"Alcohol thins the blood - we want to make sure that your blood clots normally... Though admittedly, that isn't as much of a concern since the wound was cauterized," Bonnie said, giving him some morphine for the pain. "I'll radio in, let the others know... Just rest, okay?"

Cassandra looked towards Novikova as she made her suggestion and smiled a bit and nodded towards her. "That I can do." She said while Agent Thompson came up to introduce herself to the team and shook the agent's hand as she stood up. "Nice to meet you Agent Thompson." Cassandra said and then looked towards Bonnie surprised that Flynn had kissed her, as she looked at Novikova, feeling it getting warmer outside. "I saw an Ice Ray gun prototype my ability isn't working right now. I'll keep trying but bring it just as a backup for the time being." Cass said as she headed out and made her way towards Creed Financial.

Novikova nodded, grabbing the gun and she put it on her. She had changed into a suit as well that allowed her to be more in tune with the vibrations of the Earth, and she still wore the ruby red sunglasses that Marygold Isley had given her. "You got it, boss," Novikova said, following Cass. She had been a bit surprised as well that Flynn had kissed Bonnie - and it had caused her thoughts to go briefly towards Maria.

Flynn had no idea what it was that the other two were planning on doing, or where they were planning on going, but he thought that he might as well check to see if the others were coming, and from what direction. Glancing over at Hawkeye and Tempest, he headed that way, eventually noticing the group as he walked over, and luckily not running into anyone for the moment. He gave them a slight wave, not really sure what else they were to do.

Victoria, in the meantime, had taken the greeting of her fellow agent before being informed that there was an ice ray gun prototype nearby. The prospect of being able to handle such a weapon was incredibly tempting to her, but she had to take a backseat since there were agents who were more than likely more qualified to handle such a tool. She wasn't sure what else she was to do for the time being. All the preparations were being made and Victoria wasn't exactly sure what her role at the moment was. She looked just as lost as fellow Agent Flynn.

As the team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents continue to walk, Barton paused for a moment. Parts of the floor looked as if they had been worn away by friction. "The enhanced has been here," Barton said. Nikolai, for some reason unknown to anyone with a sane mind, bent down and licked the surface. "Recently," Nikolai said. Barton gave him a look, a clear ~what the hell~ and Nikolai just shrugged. "I have gift," he said. "Sure you do..."

Tempest followed along with the others. She scanned the area for guards, but it seems as though they handled things. "Remember guys, the mutant detection system will only be down for so long so we need to get in and out quickly or we'll have a huge mess on our hands." Hopefully with all of them Luminous would be handled easily, though judging based on what happened with von Bardas' place, it wouldn't be.

Cassandra looked at Hawkeye, Flynn, and Renior as the three of them caught up to them, as she started to think of a plan to go against Luminous now she turned to look at Novikova, and Thompson. "Novikova, I want you to use Dimensional Energy Perception, once we find Luminous if theres any other weaknesses relay it to us and use the ice ray on her. Thompson, watch Novikova's back in case something happens." Cass told them, and nodded towards Renior for a moment they didn't have to much time then. "Flynn, and Renior you are on support duty, if either of us gets injured get them out of the line of fire. Hawkeye, use your arrows find other ways to possibly distract her, Nikolai you are with me, we can try and take her down, or at least keep her busy." Cassandra said, as she looked around there wasn't a sign of her yet, until she felt a tap on her shoulder, and turned around to see that it was Luminous herself.

"Aren't you just adorable?!" Luminous said with a smirk. She had Novikova's glasses in her hands and she crushed them under her feet. The Sci-Tech agent took a deep breath and looked in the direction of Luminous voice, managing to catch a glimpse of the silver speedster. She saw flashes of another world - of Luminous on something called Counter Earth, of a synthetic being phasing through Luminous and putting her into submission.

Novikova saw Luminous standing over Maria's body, holding her heart in her hand before squeezing it and it burst. The images were going faster and faster - and Luminous just smirked, staying in Novikova's line of sight and the mutant couldn't look away. The alternate realities were becoming more and more overwhelming, as Novikova slowly stopped breathing, her functions shutting down.

"Go on, try and stop me," Luminous said, holding her hands up. "I'll even give you a free shot!"

"Yeah, pretty any sort of plan is right out the window Reed, no offense or anything," Flynn said towards Cass when Luminous showed up. They weren't prepared to run into her yet, so as far as he knew, they were likely going to all end up dead or something at this rate. So, figuring that odds were that they were all going to die anyway, he might as well get a shot off. He grabbed the shotgun he had and fired it off, and now he was wondering if potentially shooting at her would have been better if she had been moving around. It just grazed her shoulder, punching a small hole in her suit. Well, this was going to end horribly.

Tempest was hardly paying attention until the others started going crazy as Luminous appeared in front of them, taunting them. Tempest kneeled down quickly, thinking at a speed faster than she thought possible. "All right you speedy twatface, you want a shot, I'll give you one." She pulled out her watch (which was becoming ever more handy with each use) and scanned the woman for devices. She had a communicator on her as well as a pedometer (how on point) that was Pokemon themed. Points to that, but Tempest still got to work, latching onto the pedometer and was able to track Luminous as she moved. She didn't want to show her hand though so she stood up and pulled out her gun and pointed it at the speedster, making a threatening face as she did so.

Cassandra watched as Luminous snatched Novikova's glasses, and breaking them and then Flynn took a shot at her, only grazing her by the looks of it, Cassandra looked towards Flynn and rolled her eyes slightly, they needed to do something.. She started to try and concentrate on changing the season around them, but noticed that there wasn't any real change at all seeing Novikova wasn't looking to well as she attempted to try and get her to respond.

Novikova was still stuck, staring at Luminous as more and more images pushed their way into her head. However, the speedster just smirked a bit. There was a blur of silver and then Nikolai dropped to the ground. His heart had been ripped from his chest and Luminous dropped it to the ground, crushing it underneath her heel. "I'm so scared," Luminous quipped. "I'm quivering, whatever will I do?!"

"Guys, don't know about you, but I'm running out of ideas, fast on what to do," he muttered, before he decided to hell with it and just attack her. They were running out of options, they were up against a speedster, so odds were, after what she had done to Nikolai, they were all going to end up dead. He whirled the ax end of the shotgun around and tried to hit her with it. Luminous was a lot faster though, and managed to grab it from him, snapping it over her knee. He stumbled backwards, feeling a bit feverish for some reason, and he had no clue why. Maybe it was from the nerves of fighting when he knew that they were likely going to end up dead?

Watching Luminous get close to Novikova and Nikolai, Victoria could only watch as Luminous just eliminated Nikolai like it was nothing. Tearing his heart out, it was like she was watching a scene straight out of Mortal Kombat. It was gruesome, but she didn't have any time to mourn the sudden loss of Agent Nikolai before it started to come for her and Novikova. Victoria raised her ICER, trying to aim for center mass. She needed to land the best shots that she could, otherwise the duo were going to be in some trouble that was going to be a difficult time to dig themselves out of.

As Victoria pulled the trigger, however, she only heard the sound of a cartridge being jammed in the slide. Tilting her gun, it seemed that the shell didn't eject properly and had lodged itself against the next round in the magazine. Cursing to herself, she pulled out the magazine in her gun. Clearing this jam was going to take a while, and with Luminous slowly coming toward them, Victoria had to get this jam cleared as fast as possible. Pulling the slide back, the jammed round ejected itself from the gun, falling to the ground as Victoria reloaded the gun. Chambering yet another round, Victoria trained her sights on Luminous as quickly as she could and fired a couple of shots -- both of which, missed.

"Shit!"

Tempest had every intention of ensuring Luminous would be caught and taken into custody, but she had not anticipated the actual threat and maybe that was on her. The speedster, though she tracked her, surprised them all by literally taking out Nikolai's heart. Tempest felt sick, not because of the gore, but because someone she cared about had died so quickly and mercilessly. She had enough. She ran over to Novikova, attempting to break the girl from whatever spell she was under. She managed to move her from the line of sight, but she was still out of it.

So Tempest did what she thought best, she took out her watch keyboard again and faced her opponent. "All right bitch, my turn to take a shot." She knew guns would be useless, so she opted for what every person had on them. Electronics. She knew where the communicator and pedometer were and she knew electronics like the back of her hand. So she latched on to them both and typed in the command. It was a command she had used before, usually to wipe things away if she were ever caught or to cover her tracks, but she knew it was effective.

Luminous would too as both her communicator and pedometer exploded while she had them on. It would hopefully damage her enough to prevent further attacks or bring her down entirely.

Cassandra just stared as Nikolai dropped dead, seeing the hole where his heart was, and the rest of her fellow agents were having a dark time. Except for Tempest as she used her computer skills and watched the earpiece Luminous was wearing exploded, as well as the pedometer that was on her. She gently took the ice ray gun from Novikova's hand and quickly aimed it directly at Luminous and fired off a round at her, but didn't aim correctly hitting the mutant's hand, turning it to ice. "Rude!"

The ground around them shook slightly as Novikova gasped and she shut her eyes tightly. Barton handed her a piece of fabric and wrapped it around her face, tying it like a blindfold so that way Novikova wouldn't be in danger of getting trapped in her powers again. "You'll have to BirdBox this, Agent," he advised her and Novikova nodded. It was probably a bit of a shame that she couldn't see Luminous anymore. The genetic experiment's hair had been half burned off from the explosions, there was a nasty gash in her side, and her hand was encased in ice.

"Okay, enough going easy on you idiots," Luminous muttered. Normally, speedsters healed incredibly quickly but her gash wasn't showing any signs of healing. It must have been the ice, slowing down her cells. Luminous' eyes went red as she switched into using her other skill set: Chaos Magic. The red glow then transferred into Novikova and Victoria's heads, plunging both of them into nightmares. They wouldn't be able to tell that the nightmares weren't real and it was all just inside their heads.

Inside Novikova's head, she heard the sound of sirens, warning of an incoming nuclear strike. She forgot all about Luminous and S.H.I.E.L.D. and was instead filled with a huge sense of terror. "... Got to get to the shelter..." she mumbled under her breath, as if asleep and merely muttering during a nightmare.

Flynn was still feeling feverish, and he was starting to sweat a lot, and he hadn't even really done anything yet. This was so confusing for him, but a moment later, everything seemed to make some sense as he was completely engulfed in flames. A second later, the flames seemed to die away, and he had no idea what the hell even just happened. He looked down at his hands, before noticing that his entire shirt he'd been wearing was basically gone, having been burned away. Well that was certainly comforting, "...What the hell?" he muttered, before he decided to try and create fire to attack Luminous with, but only caused a few harmless sparks.

Tempest noted that her teammates were slowly being picked off. If they wanted to turn the tables on Luminous, she needed more than just herself. She moved over ot Novikova, who had falled into a deamlike (or nightmarelike) state. Tempest didn't know if it would work, but she had to try. So she put her hands on Novi's temples and imbued her with her healing power. She could feel the light combatting the darkness within and, soon, the fog cleared. Novi should begin to feel better. "We need you now more than ever girl."

Cassandra took a few more steps back and aimed the ice ray gun at Luminous again. She fired five times at her, the first three missed her as she fired the last two, one hit Luminous in the right knee as well as her left ankle.

"Thanks," Novikova told Tempest. She figured it had to have been Tempest, even though the blindfold kept her from seeing. Cassandra's ice blasts had slowed Luminous down and Novikova, feeling through the Earth like it was an extension of herself, was able to feel the movements of the speedster. She clenched her fist and the floor started to fold around Luminous' feet, trapping her into place.

"...Is it hot in here?" Novikova then asked.

"That's just Flynn," Hawkeye explained.

"Is now really the time to be cracking jokes Barton?" Flynn snapped, and he felt really weird, his body feeling like it was on fire. He knew he had to do something, that was for sure, and he decided to channel his annoyance with Hawkeye, and see if he could do something more than a few sparks. There was a blast of flames that circled his arm and hand, and the fire slammed into Luminous, causing severe burns to her chest. Finally he could do something useful.

Suddenly, Victoria's world went dark right after she fired off some shots at Luminous. There was nothing but darkness, until the light showed up again, to reveal an unfortunately very familiar scene. It was Afghanistan, and there were insurgents about to point their gun at her. She was aware she had a weapon in her nightmare, and it was something that she turned to use very quickly. Taking the dream rifle and using it, she dispatched all of the insurgents rather cleanly. Three round bursts into them, and they were deader than a bag of bricks.

Unfortunately, however, the figures were then consumed by a cloud of darkness, before lifting away to reveal something that Victoria was more than horrified to see. All of the dead bodies were now dressed in ACU camo, just like Victoria was. Their bodies resembled American soldiers' bodies, before more American soldiers caught up, weapons raised at her. Before they could shoot at her for blatant blue-on-blue action, Victoria was yanked back to reality, once again face-to-face with the mutant that had put her into this. But, she was quickly incapacitated by her rather strong migraine, struggling to raise her weapon once again to take some more shots at the mutant.

With both Novikova and Victoria back in action, all that was left was Luminous herself. Any attempt to get the girl to be incapacitated went out the window with Nikolai's death and the use of Chaos Magic to bring two of their own into nightmare states. She pointed her gun at Luminous and fired, but the girl dodged it merely by gyrating her hip. They needed to cool her off more. Her speed could be monitored, but her magic maybe not so they needed to get her down quickly.

Cassandra figured that with Luminous' ankle and thigh frozen she wouldn't be able to move as fast, as she quickly slung the ice ray over her shoulder. She then charged forward as she got up close and personal to her and tried to punch her, only to see the speedster simply moved her hips to the side away from her punch, groaning in frustration.

"These hips don't lie," Luminous said with a bit of a smirk.

Novikova gritted her teeth and moved her hands upwards. The earth used in the foundation of the floor came up and then gripped onto Luminous by her knees, adding a little bit to the immobilization of the speedster. Hawkeye attempted to fire an inhibitor arrow at Luminous, only for the speedster to catch it and snap it into two. At least for the moment, Luminous didn't seem to be able to move from where she was - her feet were stuck and the cold was preventing her from phasing through.

He suddenly thought about how heat generally was a good thing for speedsters, since it let their body move quickly. Figuring trying to hit her again would be bad, but his eyes fell on the arrow Hawkeye had shot at her. Flynn charged at her, she moved to try to keep the arrow tip away from him, but he just barely managed to grab it. She moved again when he made his first attempt to hit her with it, causing him to miss, but the second time around he got lucky. Hitting her with the arrow tip, he injected her with the inhibitor. "Maybe now your speed will be less annoying..." he muttered.

"Good work Flynn." Cassandra said towards Luminous as she took and aimed the ice ray gun again, as Flynn hit her with the inhibitor, as soon as Flynn was out of the way. She took a deep breath again, and shot the gun again aimed directly at Luminous' chest which was spot on, seeing her chest area freeze up quickly.

Luminous' eyes were wide, realizing that she was close to defeat. She never had been put into a situation like this before in her (admittedly short) life. No one had managed to beat her - not even the Fenris twins despite their best efforts. Large patches of her body were covered in ice, she had an open wound, her hair was ruined, and an inhibitor was pumping through her system. Something in her brain snapped and she just started to laugh like a crazy person. "You guys are awesome!" she said through her laughter.

Novikova shifted, a bit uncomfortable with all of this. She continued to try to push upwards with the earth to further restrain her, managing to encase Luminous in rock up to her neck. "Let's book her, before our luck turns," Hawkeye told the team.

"Hey Barton, you wouldn't by chance have like a grappling arrow or whatever with a rope that we could use to restrain her? And any more arrows with inhibitors that would be useful too..." Flynn said, feeling a little bad that his past with OMEN actually was useful in situations like this, and made him play a little more on the cautious side when it came to dealing with people with powers.

"Knock yourself out," he responded, handing him both arrows he asked for. Flynn hit Luminous with another inhibitor, before he took the arrow in his hand and let the rope out, pulling at it. No one really had anything useful to restrain her with, so he had to go with what they had. He nodded towards Novikova who allowed him to get to Luminous' hands, and he proceeded to restrain her, making it so that they could move her.

"Let's get out of here," he said, nodding to the others, still a bit weird since he was standing there shirtless, but that didn't really matter now, they had to finish the job that they had set out to do.

Vault 613

Agents Smith, Abercrombie, & Bautista

Maria had made her way into Creed Financial and then waited for Tinley and Niah to come over, she started to feel a little bit nervous if she ran into Luminous again, also a part of her did worry about Novikova who would be facing her as well. "So what happens if we run into Luminous again?" Maria asked Tinley as she took out her collapsible bow just in case there was any guards that had found them yet.

Niah joined Maria, she frowned at Maria's question. Niah would happily fill Luminous full of ICER rounds if she could. She knew she had gotten lucky before and she probably wouldn't get the chance to do it again, but she really wanted to. She looked to Abercrombie for her opinion on the matter.

Tinley finished her preparations, checking her gear. "Hopefully the other team will take care of her and it won't be a problem, but if she does show up we will take her down. But our mission is the vault and I want that as priority number 1." Tinley walked over to the door of Creed. "Keep an eye out for guards. Incapacitate and move on. We don't want to light up our position before we even reach the lower level. Ready?"

Maria nodded towards Tinley as she took out her collapsible bow, she took a moment and took a deep breath as she gave their team leader the thumbs up. "Ready to go then." Maria said as she made sure that her suit was in working condition now and then made her way inside notching a regular arrow just in case.

Thankfully, Barton, Renoir, and Flynn had managed to clear out a majority of the security on this floor. As the team walks, they'll be able to see stray arrowheads every now and then. There are small signs of a struggle, but all of it points to fighting on the part of their fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agents so there is nothing to be too concerned about. There are two options to get down to the level where the vault is: a staircase that indicates it goes down to sub-basement 2 and an elevator that requires a 16 digit passcode to be entered to unlock it.

"Let me see if I can see what the code might be." Niah pulled off her glove and reached forward touching the buttons. She could see in her mind Baron von Strucker typing a passcode, as they typed she copied their input. There was a ding as the elevator was summoned. Niah pulled her glove back on. "That's a handy power." She said under her breath.

Tinley waited as Bautista worked, wondering if the girl could, in fact, see the code. Sure enough, she managed to summon the elevator. "Nice work Agent Bautista." She stepped inside the elevator and waited for the other two and hit the button for the lower floor and the vault. "The others took care of the guards up here, but there may and most likely is more resistance down below, so be ready."

"Awesome work." Maria said to Niah as soon as they stepped into the elevator and then Tinley pressed the elevator button, and felt it lurch downwards towards the bottom floor. As soon as the elevator opened Maria poked her head out and counted out three guards, doing their patrol rounds. "I count three of them, how do you want to take them out?" Maria whispered back as she moved back in looking towards Tinley.

Niah smiled and nodded in thank you to Maria. Considering there being hostiles she didn't want to make a noise before they were ready. She drew her ICER and waited for Tinley's command. She might be able to tell if there were more than the three guards but if she turned on her enhanced listening she would be in danger of messing up her ears if bullets started flying. If Tinley asked her to she would though.

Tinley cursed under her breath. Three guards and all three of them together. She thought a minute and came up with a plan. "Ok here's what I want to happen. Maria, shoot an arrow and make noise. I'm hoping only one will break away and you can knock him out when he does. I can take out two in one and Niah can back me up just in case. Worse comes to worse, I have shock batons with their name on it and we all go charging at them. Sound good?"

"Sure thing." Maria said as she took out an arrow from her quiver, she wasn't even paying attention to which one she was grabbing for really. Maria then quickly stepped out from the elevator again and shot it at one of the guard by the time it was released Maria silently smacked herself as she picked out the wrong arrow.

"Jerry, go check that out!"

"Why's it always my turn to check it out?"

"Because Jerry Gergich is a dumbass name, now GO!" one of the guards scolded.

The guard named Jerry sighed, splitting off from the other two as he went to go investigate the source of the arrow.

Niah facepalmed almost at the exact same time as Maria. She held back a snort of laughter but looked to Tinley waiting for her to take point. Somehow the ploy had worked even though Maria had grabbed a grappling arrow instead of a normal one. It was nice to smile even if it was for a brief second. Niah had her ICER ready and waited to see if Tinley would need her assistance.

The rule of threes followed as Tinley facepalmed too. However, it seemed to still do the job as one of the guards was sent to check. And, really, Jerry Gergich was a dumbass name. Tinley motioned for the two to follow the plan still as she made her way over to the two guards. As soon as she was able to, she sprang forward, batons at the ready as she set them to stun and smacked the both of them at the same time. It did, in fact, shock them, but they did not go down.

In fact, quite the opposite, it seemed to piss them off as one managed to punch Tinley in the chest and the other grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. "Listen, boys, a girl likes to be wooed before we get to this point." She hoped the others could manage to get these clowns down, and quickly.

Maria watched as the guards turned their attention towards Tinley, one of them then pinned Tinley against the wall looking over towards Niah. "Take out the other one." She told her, as she drew out the correct arrow this time as she watched rather closely as she took a deep breath and fired the arrow, watching as it pierced the guard and fell dead and gave Tinley a slight nod.

Niah took aim and shot off three ICER rounds in quick succession. The first missed, but thankfully it didn't hit anyone else. "Shit," She said under her breath and took the other two shots. One grazing the man and then the third finding its new home in the man's stomach. He was down for the count. She sighed relieved with the man down.

Baron Von Strucker, codename Fenris, stepped into view. He took his gun and emptied the chamber into the fallen guards. It didn't matter that most of them had already been taken out - they were weak and HYDRA could not tolerate weakness. He then took in the three and gave them a twisted smile. "Welcome home, children," he said to the three. He stared at each of them in turn, knowing their files and what they were capable of. "Oh, forgive me," he said, putting in what looked like earbuds. "I can't have you reading my mind, Agent Abercrombie."

Though she did not recognize the voice, once she got a look at him she knew who he was and it made her skin crawl. HYDRA was bad enough, and now they had this twat to deal with. "Wolfgang von Strucker. Still not tolerating weakness, I see. And don't worry, I don't need to read your mind to know you and what you think. Well Fenris, are we doing this the easy way or the hard way?" She cracked her knuckles and held on to her batons. She knew the answer and she was desperate to kick his ass.

Maria jumped slightly when she heard the gunshots go off, when she looked up she saw Baron von Strucker himself feeling very uneasy right now as she got an arrow out ready. She wasn't really sure what to do right now, and looked towards Tinley she was ready to attack him, she made sure that she had her bow trained at him. "So, are you here to kill us or something?

Yeah, Antonie had been right. This had been a terrible idea. She should have stuck with the lab job, he wouldn't be dead and neither would several of her other friends. Now she faced someone who as far as she knew was literally unkillable. What caught her as odd though was that he had said "welcome home" to them. As if this location was their home. She had no place in HYDRA, she was too gay and non-white for that. She shifted on her feet slightly anticipating an attack. She did not want to get within hand-to-hand combat range with him. Niah was ready to dodge, and her ICER was still in her hand from shooting the now dead guard.

Von Strucker laughed, shaking his head slightly. "Why would I kill you after all of the resources HYDRA invested into your creation?"

Tinley shook her head a bit. What had he just said? HYDRA invested in them? No, that was not possible. It was a SHIELD project. "Nice try von Strucker. Mind games don't work. So, again, do we need to kick your ass or will you let us go without violence?" Truth be told, Tinley was wavering. The news hit her, but it could not be true, could it?

Maria glared directly at Von Strucker when he revealed that HYDRA had invested into their creation, she was getting angrier as she felt her hands shake slightly she aimed for his heart. "I'm not going to be HYDRA's puppet." Maria said just as she was about to aim, Tinley spoke. "No! Don't kill him! Not yet. I want answers first and I will have them." Which made her lose her aim, as the arrow flew lodging itself into his thigh.

That was fine Niah thought, filling him full of ICER bullets wouldn't kill him. She unloaded her magazine. Anger and resentment that had been building in her was being cooled with each pull of the trigger and when she was done he was on the floor. She blinked. Seriously? She had taken out the Fenris with ICER bullets?

She had accounted for Maria shooting him, but she had not accounted for Niah ICING him. Still, he wasn't dead, just out cold. "All right, Maria, tie him up really good. Niah, use medical tape to tape his mouth. Priority is still the vault and we will empty that. And once done we will leave and I expect answers to all the questions I have. Ever single one. And they better be damn good answers or someone is going to get hurt."

Maria stared at Von Strucker laying on the ground unconscious, shaking her head slightly as she looked over towards Tinley and nodded slightly, as much as she wanted to kill the guy they did need to get some answers right now. "Alright then." Maria said as she slung her bow over her shoulder, seeing the grapple arrow she had used earlier and walked over towards it easily tearing off the cord attached to it. She then sat up the unconscious HYDRA leader and started to tie him up and she made sure that they were as tight as possible.

Niah pulled from the medkit she had grabbed the roll of medical tape. And started taping up his mouth. She paused and pulled the earbuds he had put in earlier out and then continued the process. She decided to just use the whole roll, she had another in the bag if she needed it for a medical reason. As she did that she considered what to do with the earbuds, it wasn't mistrust in Abercombie that made her consider putting it in her pocket and keeping them. It was mistrust in HYDRA. Everything that had happened so far was making her paranoid. If Abercombie wasn't the only person with mind control powers she did not want to be on the receiving end of it. She looked at Abercrombie and put the earbuds in her pocket. "Just in case HYDRA gets to you and you need me to slap it out of you."

Tinley allowed her team to tie up von Strucker, noticing Niah pocket the ear pods. It made her feel weird and a bit ticked off, though it was a smart move and, like she said, who knows what would happen now. "Smart." Once done, Tinley made her way down the hall towards the vault. As she did so, she was unaware of the laster near her foot as it passed through it. She heard the telltale sound of bullets being shot before she moved her head back, just in time to see them hit the wall.

She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing how close that was to the end. "All right, seems we are not out of this yet. Traps ahead. Proceed with caution."

Maria held Von Strucker for a moment, as she dragged the unconscious guy a little bit further, and then she started to notice something, and quickly held out her hand towards Tinley and Niah. "Hold on, watch him for a moment." As Maria noticed there was another series of traps in front of them. She took a few steps backwards and took a deep breath, as Maria then ran forward and started to jump, and hop, skip and did a backflip towards the end deactivating the traps that were there. "It should be safe to continue now."

Tinley didn't stop Niah from pocketing the earbuds, she was thankful for that, even though she had seen a flash of anger cross her face. She had agreed with the potential necessity for it. Tinley turned the corner and a barrage of bullets caused Niah to duck out of instinct. Everyone was safe though. Maria then took point and handed Niah the unconscious body of von Strucker, in an amazing display of acrobatics that Niah would never have been able to pull off and reminded Niah that Maria had been an athlete before joining SHIELD (and accidentally HYDRA). With the all-clear Niah started dragging von Strucker's body forward down the hall after Maria and toward their goal of the vault.

Tinley proceeded onwards, she would deal with Niah later. For now, Maria managed to get all of the traps disarmed. She clopped her way down the hallway, unaware as her thoughts raced due to recent events. Eventually, she landed in front of the vault. Reinforced and with a code. "Don't suppose you can figure out this code Agent Bautista?"

Maria stood in front of the vault, and then made her way over towards Niah. "I got him again, go ahead and see if you can find out the code." She told her friend as she took Von Sturcker again, holding him firmly against her, while looking over her shoulder so far there weren't any guards yet from earlier. But she remained alert as well.

Niah removed her glove after handing over von Strucker and reached to touch the panel. As before she could see the code being typed and she copied the movements for it. There was a click as the door was disarmed and unlocked. She put her glove back on with a smile. HYDRA may have paid for her powers to be made but she was going to use them to tear them down and destroy them.

She knew having Niah with her was a good call, even if the girl didn't seem to trust her. Once the vault had opened she got a view inside. Gold the likes of which only Harry Potter would know (yeah she read Harry Potter. She IS British after all!). And one unconscious Rhodes. Tinley quickly ran over to make sure he was alive. Once she confirmed she faced the others. "All right, he is alive. Continue the plan as normal. Empty as much as you can carry because I am not leaving HYDRA with a cent left. After that, we take Rhodes and von Strucker and we head back. If possible, we make a quick return trip to gather more, but we get what we can now." She began to empty the vault, carrying roughly 18% of its contents.

The moment the vault door opened she looked around seeing all of the gold that was inside of the vault itself, then she stared at the ground seeing Coronel Rhodes there on the floor. She looked towards Niah for a moment and wondered how he would take the news that his nephew was killed she then spotted there was a cart inside of the vault as well. "We can use the cart, it would make the trip much easier." She suggested, as Maria moved over and started to slowly move the gold onto it.

Niah let out a low whistle when the door opened to reveal PILES of gold. Tinley went to Rhodes. He was okay, that was good, but now they had a TON of gold to move and two unconscious people. An extra hand or two would have been nice, but at least Maria noticed a cart. Niah started help load the gold onto the cart. Between the two of them they were able to get about 75% of the gold onto the cart. There was no way she could carry both the gold and one of the people. She frowned. There was still a good amount of money left in the vault. "Okay, what do we do with the rest?"

Tinley was not about to let HYDRA have anything, either von Strucker, Rhodes, or their gold. She quickly radioed for help. "When able, Cassandra, can you help us clean the vault out? We found Colonel Rhodes locked in the vault and we have a prisoner for transport too. Once done the vault will be cleared and we can evacuate." She signaled to the others to get ready to leave. They needed to exit soon.

Cassandra looked towards the Luminous team for a moment after hearing the message from Tinley. ”I’m on my way now be there shortly. She said as she turned around and made her way towards the elevator, and went down to the bottom floor. Eventually catching up to the others seeing the gold, as well as von Strucker, and Colonel Rhodes. ”Looks like you guys did a good job down here.” Cassandra said, as Maria looked towards her and smiled slightly adjusting her weight a bit holding von Strucker.

"I can carry Colonel Rhodes if you take the rest of the gold." Niah said to Cassandra after a small nod about the situation. Niah didn't feel like she had done a terrible lot, though she supposed she had been useful. She had gotten both codes and had ICED von Strucker. She picked up her friend's uncle and knew she would have to tell him soon what happened to Sami, and that she hadn't been able to figure out his cryptic message. She nodded to Tinley once Rhodes was secure, Niah was ready. She hoped Cassandra would be able to get the last of the gold.

Tinley met Cassandra and walked to the vault with her. Once inside, they were able to get both bodies and the remainder of the gold. Tinley would not let HYDRA have the satisfaction of money, their prisoner, or one of their leaders. So she took them all. "Good work team. Now let's get out of here. I have a lot of questions that need answers."

Pym Technologies: October 22nd, 2020 - 6:28 P.M.

Seven weeks. Four Days. Two Hours. Twenty Eight Minutes. Eight Seconds.

That was how long it had been since the team, now under the new codename of the Secret Warriors, had been a whole unit. The war between HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D. was at a stalemate, with each side holding onto key facilities and largely keeping the public unaware of the conflict. Yet there was a price to all of the constant fighting and secrecy - the agents they had lost were still trapped in the quantum realm. Theresa Sparks and Raynor Blake had been listed as missing at first.

Death certificates were issued three weeks ago. Director Fury spoke at their joint funeral. Theresa had had family and friends in attendance - but the same was not true for Raynor. No matter how hard S.H.I.E.L.D. staff tried, no one was able to reach his family. His empty casket was buried along with the agents lost to HYDRA who were unclaimed - Sparky was buried in Florida.

Luminous had been imprisoned in the Raft, along with Baron von Strucker. Agent Abercrombie tried her very best in the interrogation, but the HYDRA leader hadn't given too much information that S.H.I.E.L.D. could work with. He did however allude to the fact that HYDRA had two more enhanced in the field - the Fenris twins - and that there were still those in S.H.I.E.L.D. loyal to HYDRA and its cause. Tempest had managed to find that most of HYDRA's financial activity seems to now be focused in Germany.

Colonel Rhodes spent a few days in recovery with the team, before he went to stay with his friend, Tony Stark. Every time Sami was mentioned, he seemed a bit freaked out almost, but he never explained what was going on with him. On the bright side, Cass and Harry ended up giving the Playground some much needed upgrades once it was secured, giving the team a place to call home again.

"Dominika - it's good to see you," Hank Pym, founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. and owner of the distinguished Pym Industries, greeted her as she came into the room. Her hair was an even darker brown this time and she wore a thick pair of shades. She took them off however, wearing blue contacts - not only did they help with disguises for this unauthorized project she was undertaking, but they blocked out her powers.

"How's Hope?" Novikova asked, pulling two flash drives from her pocket. One of them was labelled as P.H.I.L., Gen III and the other contained the plans for Project Ultron. Although the project was technically Stark Industries property, the idea itself didn't belong to the Starks. Hank Pym had come up with it ages ago and Howard Stark had stolen it from him, claiming credit - and with a final insult, Howard shut the project down. Hank's work would never see the light of day. There had been a brief period in which Howard's son, Tony, had been working on it again with his friend, Banner, but they hadn't managed to get it to work.

"She's good - still with that idiot," Hank mused, taking the devices from Novikova. "Did anyone see you?"

"The Starks were all out for the day," she answered smoothly. "Head of Security - Hogan - was with them as well. I think the CEO too. No one important was home - certainly not the Avengers, they all moved upstate."

"Good, good...Now, how familiar are you with a device owned by the X-Men called Cerebro?"

"We studied it at the academy in one of my courses," Novikova responded calmly. She knew what Hank was getting at, but she decided she'd let him have his moment. He was a legend in her field of work and when she came across this idea of his, she couldn't pass it up. It was a concrete way to save their people from a fate worse than death. The rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. was too busy fighting HYDRA to care or even wonder if it was possible they could have survived.

"I think that we can exploit your mutation to get a message through to them - and if you can get me the coordinates before the probability fields change alignment, we can use Ultron for its true purpose. The damned Starks wasted it, claiming it could be a peacekeeping protocol...But the original idea behind Ultron was in order to probe the quantum realm - to tunnel into it and collect data and information about the microverse."

"Assuming the probability fields don't collapse when we observe them," Novikova pointed out. Quantum things had a nasty habit of vanishing as soon as they were seen. The entire realm was a universe filled with ghostly action, violating the laws of locality and every scientific principle that had been established in classical physics.

"My hypothesis is that if you yourself are on that quantum scale, your observations will not cause the collapse of any wavefunction," Pym argued. "Your friends are Schrodinger's cat - we just need to send another cat in to find them."

"Einstein would be rolling in his grave..." Novikova said, eyeing the helmet like device Hank had built. She then nodded and sat down, putting it on her head. "Let's do this, then."

The Quantum Realm: October 24th, 2020 - 1:00 P.M.

It was hard to really keep track of time in the Quantum Realm. Had they been there for weeks? Months? Years? The Wasp had been trapped in the Quantum Realm since the late 70's and she had had no idea that about fifty years had gone by. The world had forgotten her and continued to move on, while she was forced to stay still. She taught Raynor and Sparky how to survive in the Quantum Realm, their minds adapting over time so that way they could function and survive. Did they have food, water, shelter? Not really. But somehow, they managed to survive anyways - the realm sustaining them just as it imprisoned them.

"We need to move," the Wasp told her companions. She frowned. Janet always seemed to have a special sort of sixth sense, telling her when one of the creatures inhabiting the Quantum Realm was near. "Come on, now," the Wasp added.

Raynor was looking a little weaker with each day that passed in the Quantum Realm. He wasn't human - his body was adapting differently. It seemed that humans took to the Quantum Realm better than Asgardians did, as his complexion was like ash. "Come on, Lana," he mumbled to Sparky. He had gotten into a habit of calling her the name at times. He rubbed his wrists, hoping that they wouldn't need to fight. He felt so tired, as if all of his cells were on the point of complete exhaustion, but he wasn't going to tell the others that he was dying.

They had other things to worry about. He gave Sparky a slight smile. "You can zap things."

The Playground - Location Classified: October 24th, 2020 - 1:00 P.M.

Hawkeye was off-site for the day, having a meeting with Fury and other members of S.H.I.E.L.D. leadership in regards to new intel that Agent Renoir had managed to obtain for them. He had asked Agent Abercrombie and Agent Reed to look after the base while he was gone and ensure that no one was going out without a buddy. HYDRA was still a threat, even with their diminished funds, and he didn't want to lose another teammate.

Novikova was in the shooting range, her newly dyed dirty blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. She wasn't wearing her glasses since it was just her in the room and she held out her hand. Instead of having various pistols by her, Novikova had small little metal rods. She had discovered that not only could she control earth, but she could bend and manipulate metal as well. It was harder considerably and gave her massive headaches, but sometimes it was nice to focus on something entirely.

She tried to summon the rod into her hand, but instead it rolled and fell off of the table. "I should have expected that..." she said with a sigh.

Meanwhile, Bonnie was in bio-engineering and research. After Tinley had gone through Secondary Terringenesis, and especially given Harry's loss of his hand, she was attempting to study the crystals. She had had them crushed up into a fine powder and kept it inside of a glove box, in order to prevent anyone from coming into contact with them. Slipping her hands into the gloves, she reached into the small fridge and unlocked it, taking out the little jar of fine terrigen powder. "Alright, let's try something new with you today..." Bonnie mumbled, measuring out a little bit.

Putting the main jar back into the fridge, she placed the sample she had taken into the antechamber and shut it. Walking around to the outside opening, she opened the antechamber up and grabbed the powder, before placing the small sample on a microscope slide and she slid it underneath what looked like a glorified microscope. "Raman, come on baby, work with me here..."

Cassandra Reed

Location: The Playground - Technology -> Dining/kitchen
Skills:

Cassandra leaned back in her seat as she started to look at some of the computers going over through some of the coding as she did a little bit of maintenance to the system and made sure that the security was still working perfectly. She leaned back and rubbed the back of her neck slightly. Cass reached over and grabbed her cup of coffee that she had been drinking, which was a little bit cold now at this point. When Cassandra was satisfied that everything was completely fine Cass got up and stretched slightly looking down at her phone as she heard it going off.

She smiled slightly seeing that it was a text from her sister, seeing how she was doing and she quickly sent a reply back as well. Feeling her stomach growling slightly Cassandra decided to get up and find something to eat. Right now things seemed to be fairly quiet as well, still she was alert in case there was anything that HYDRA had done as well. She left the Technology department and made her way over towards the kitchen and started to look through the fridge, finding some left overs she turned around seeing Harry walking down the hall into the Research & Bio Engineering part of the base.

Harry McCormick

Location: The Playground - Bio Engineering & Research
Skills: N/A

Harry had just left the kitchen area, as he watched Cass entering the kitchen and gave her a slight nod before heading over to Bio Engineering. Harry had a burrito in his hands, and entered the room seeing Bonnie at work on the terrigen stuff as he walked in he set the food down on the counter. "Still working on that terrigen dust stuff?" Harry asked, as he went over and sat down on one of the chairs seeing her looking at a microscope.

Harry then started to unwrap the burrito and started to eat it as he leaned back in his seat looking over at his hand, which looked just like his old hand before it got chopped off. He was glad that they made their own little project and it was now functioning like a normal one. With his own little upgrades as well.

Maria Smith

Location: The Playground - Maria's Bunk -> Shooting Range
Skills: N/A

Maria had been already up and about this morning, she had just left her bunk to get a little bit of shooting practice in as well, as Maria walked down the hallway until she made it to the shooting range. She opened the door, and spotted Novikova there and smiled towards her girlfriend for a moment as she went over and reached down to pick up the metal rod she had been trying to use. "How are you today?" Maria asked, as much as she did want to kiss Novikova right now, her ability couldn't really be turned off one of the downsides she would have to use an inhibitor if she ever did want to make any kind of skin contact, she then looked up at her seeing her hair was dirty blond now and smiled. "I like the hair color by the way."

Maria then walked over to grab her bow on one of the weapons racks and started to think of something for a moment and then grabbed a single arrow and removed the arrow head. "Maybe try something smaller?" Maria suggested as she set the arrow head down on the table and looked over towards her, she then started to wonder how she was holding up and all, as well. "How are you holding up? You know with Sparky and Raynor?" She asked.
