Silence. The #1 Hero of Jigokuraku was met with complete and utter silence. Many of his peers fell quiet at his outburst, some commenting from afar, and others just watching in disbelief. There were a few snickers here and there, though with the crowd becoming more dense in the ever-growing front courtyard, it was hard to place a what to a who. However, before he could storm off and threaten to blow each and every one of them off the mountain, a glimmer of silver from beyond the doorway, as well as fast-paced running, signalled the arrival of someone.

And as soon as he had a look at that hair, Sakimoto would know exactly who it was.

In a huff, the pragmatic prodigy panted down the hallway, looking like she had been running a marathon. In her one hand, she had a key, and in the other a towel, more than likely for herself. One would think she would use her quirk to cool off in a situation like this, but alas that was technically not allowed, especially inside the school. Cooling down was one thing, but freezing an entire hallway in the process was a guaranteed expulsion for malpractice of quirk usage, and it wouldn't be hard to hunt down the culprit. She stopped by the glass door, where her bag was sitting against the nearby wall, quickly gulping down a litre of water at least. It may very well have felt like those mere moments were exaggerated to hours for the both of them, albeit for different reasons. Something was odd about her uniform, though. It wasn't the same as during the exam. Was this the new uniform they were supposed to be getting?

She didn't give him much time to think on it, as Cookies-and-Cream wasted no further time in unlocking the front doors, quickly poking her head through. "You're too loud. And early." Her bluntness was a testament to her (frankly shallow) social life, but it wasn't like Sakimoto would get angry over something like that, least in her mind he wouldn't. "They're done setting up. We're merely waiting on two more teachers. I know that Uranishi-sensei will be late, but not by much, we're just waiting on Tanifuji-sensei now."
There was a pause. She had to clarify.
"The Shadow will be late, we're just waiting on The Dragon. But from the looks of things, she's already here..."

Thinking ahead that the students would all herd into the halls the moment the doors opened, she waved over Tanifuji, hoping to get her attention. It would probably feel wrong having a student guide everyone through the place and not a teacher, especially one as equipped to deal with problem children as she was. That kind of supervision was damn-near required with kids at this age. She took the moment to congratulate her fellow classmate:

"It's good to see you also made it, Sakimoto. I was confident you would make it."

Checkers poked her head around the side of him to get a look at some of the many students assembled. Some were pretty familiar, and she could recall by name, but others she didn't recognise at all. Odd. "For some reason I didn't expect so many new faces..."
But if there was one face that was easy to pick out from the crowd that wasn't Hiroki Sakimoto, it was Haruishi Mari. Though the two were at odds during the start of the exam, Yomodachi didn't seem to particularly mind the other girl's presence, raising an eyebrow and offering a brief smile should she notice.

Soga was amazed by the situation at hand, not by whatever was going on around him, but simply because nobody had noticed the tall black dragon man standing around in the courtyard, nobody had as much as thrown his a sideways glance to even see who this new suspicious looking person was. What was worse was that he had been among the first people to arrive here and yet, they still ignored him. While something like this would usually not bother him since he always avoided socializing with people in general, but now, now it actually did bother him a bit.

But not enough in order for him to actually do anything about it, he simply stared at the situation unfolding before him with disinterest. Just the usual, people talking with one another, making friends, arguing, all the typical teenager stuff one would do. Once more, he shut himself from the outside world and made his plans for the rest of the day, for the rest of week, for the rest of...

His mental planning however was interrupted by one of the students simply shouting, calling himself the number one hero, showing his absolute need for attention... and his recklessness. He frowned and began walking towards him in an attempt to quiet him down, however as he got next to the brash young student, another figure popped out, a girl with both white and black hair, he was entranced for a moment as he looked at her. His brain instantly moved to its default setting when meeting new people and that was trying to guess their quirk and how it might affect him in the future.

However, he stopped himself from doing that as he realized that he was now in the middle of the crowd as well, in the middle of attention. He might have mentally accused Turbine for being reckless in his actions, but he himself had been reckless in attempting to stop his actions. Still, he calmed himself down and decided to proceed with his actions as he had wished to do, but with a more collected and calm state of mind. He placed a hand on Turbine's shoulder and looked at him.

"I understand that you hold a very high opinion of yourself, my friend, but if I were you I would calm down, you're only making a fool out of yourself." Though Soga meant to sound friendly towards Turbine, the fact that he quite literally towered over him made his sentence seem much more condescending than it actually was meant to be.

Haruishi Mari

Quirk: Born to Run (Thunder Road)

@ShwiggityShwah @Scribe of Thoth @AdmrlStalfos19 @Delta44

Mari looked up in relief and straightened herself up at having her apology be accepted. "Haruishi Mari!" she introduced herself, but before the smile from having made a comrade fully forms on her face, she saw Hiroki's eyes and the condescension in them. He was looking down on her. This was the smug, confident face of privilege. The realization stung, but maybe this is what Mari deserved for having picked a fight with someone with advantages built into their upbringing. "What is someone like you even doing at Jigokuraku? Shouldn't someone like you be at UA or Shikoku? Leave some space at the bottom of the barrel for the rest of us!" Mari thought to herself, not believing for a second that such prominent schools would reject an applicant based on bad attitude alone, since she regarded hero society in-general quite poorly. Hiding her rage, Mari instead offered a weak smile and stuttered, "Yeah, w-we could have taken him down. And then you'd have, what? Two villains under your belt for the entrance exam? A-amazing!" Mari didn't expect to have to reign it in in hero school as well, so she was out of practice. With the homeless, you were allowed to be yourself. At school, her good grades and the fact that her fellow students could tell she was being abused at home made her a target of bullying, and she had learned to grin and bear it. At home... Mari closed her eyes slowly as the feeling of being submerged slowly receded from her face. She let Hiroki turn his attention to other things though she glared daggers at the back of his head as he left.

Her fake smile turned into a sincere one when she noticed Shun waving at her. She remembered him as the most amicable and cooperative during the entrance exam, and noted how Hiroki failed to mention Shun in the effort to take down the bus-hijacking villain. After all, it was Shun's act of skill and daring that had disarmed the gun-wielding villain. But before Mari could interact with Shun, she felt a tap and a shock on her shoulder. Looking over, Mari saw Umi, though didn't remember her name. A passing offensive remark from Hiroki directed at Umi made Mari glare at Hiroki some more, and feel protective of Umi. But the electric shock from their contact worried Mari. Was her trek up the mountain to the school enough to elicit her lightning generation? Mari decided to shelve that thought and reply to Umi's question. "Thank you for your concern. My foot is fine, just cuts, nothing too deep. The school patched me up after the exam." She decided not to mention that it was still bothering her slightly, as one does not generally get to engage in much bed-rest when one was homeless. "My name is Haruishi Mari, what's yours?"

As Hiroki began to yell, Mari's negative opinion of him began to solidify, though there was some relief in knowing openly the kind of person someone was instead of having to guess. This honestly made him fairly easy for Mari to deal with in the future, since she was accustomed to cocky, self-important men throwing their weight around. Soon, Azukina would approach, surprising Mari with the fact that she was already wearing what might be the school's uniform, that she already knew some of the teachers' names, and that she was even given the keys with which to open the building. "Was this special treatment? Had they already picked Azukina as class representative?" Mari thought to herself, thinking again with some spite of the privileged upbringing that she suspected Hiroki and Azukina of having. Still, while Hiroki had been belligerent and antagonistic, Azukina had maintained rationality and had disagreed with Mari on pragmatic grounds, so when Azukina smiled at Mari, Mari smiled back with no hidden thoughts, shouldering her duffel bag, and following the tall teacher into the building.

Shun's mouth dipped into the beginnings of a frown as - what did Mari call Turbine-kun? Sakimoto? - pointedly turned away from him. Guess the eye contact was a mistake. This was really not turning out to be a good morning for the pixel boy, he was pretty much zero-for-two in the social interaction department. Speaking of social blunders, Shiki sounded annoyed now. Or maybe that was his normal voice, Shun really didn't know how to gauge quiet people.

"I don't mean to boast...but I was technically the first one to complete the objective before the uh...incident. That had to account for something, at the very least."

"Oh yeah, good job! I didn't even get a single rescue point." The sentiment was genuine, but the cheeriness felt forced. Shun felt hyperaware that anything he said could come off as patronizing now. What a mess. He should probably stop talking; Shiki wasn't even paying attention to him anymore, he looked like he was watching Airplane Arms.

The pasty spaz let out a deep exhale, resolved to finally shut his mouth and wait until he stopped feeling so on edge before approaching anyone else. A rare occasion! He shifted his weight from foot to foot uncomfortably; he felt tingly. The edges of his body were sporadically dissociating into cuboid bits before reforming into skin as if nothing had happened, possibly to the displeasure of any particularly squeamish onlookers. It was a pretty obvious nervous tick, but at least his body wasn't outright flickering yet. He was pretty sure this was his punishment for not getting enough sleep - awake-Shun would never have been this awkward.

This was promptly cut short as he got distracted by Hiroki's yelling - or rather, he started giggling like an idiot at the Magical Miracle Purity Light joke that someone responded with. At least, he thought it was a joke.

"This'll be great." He snickered, fully prepared for Hiroki to start hunting down the offender who dared to question his status in the loudest and possibly windiest manner possible.

It seems he wouldn't get the chance, however, as the two-toned girl from the exam busted through the front door. How'd she get inside so fast? Was she a teacher in disguise or something? Nevertheless, he flailed his arm over his head in an enthusiastic wave of greeting before he caught her flagging someone down and followed her gaze. A teacher? That must be the Tanifuji-sensei that she mentioned. The earlier excitement he felt envigorated him back to his usual energy as the realization of this being a hero school that he was now a hero-in-training at hit him.

He snapped his head back toward Shiki for lack of a better target, stupid grin now back in its rightful place decorating Shun's face. "This is so cool! I feel like I'm dreaming! Except it's cold and not UA," He beamed before he started bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet, not even pausing to take a breath inbetween his words, "C'mon-c'mon-c'mon-let's-go-inside!"

Yasu just had to cringe when she saw the turbine kid smirking at her. She didn't know what was going through his head, but she was sure she wouldn't like it. Fortunately she didn't have to think about him for very long because someone decided to come up to her of their own volition. She hadn't planned on making idle chatter, but if someone was going to engage her, she wasn't going object. Her parents had told her she needed to 'try and make friends' while she was here. She didn't really consider making friends one of her problems, but it was better to placate them than try to argue with them. This girl would make as good a 'friend' as any. From her name and greeting, the obvious guess was she had Italian ancestry. Her mixed racial heritage was plain on her face too. None of that mattered much to Yasu. She was no xenophobe.

"Hayakawa Yasu." She replied nonchalantly as she took Kiko's hand. She was worried for a minute that she would have to be the one to come up with some banal point of conversation, but turbine boy's ego provided that for her. It appeared that Yasu's initial summary of him was entirely on the money. She wasn't entirely sure if he just considered himself number one at this school, or for the whole country, maybe even the world, but he sure as hell had his head up his ass. Listening to him, Yasu had to wonder how anyone ever thought it was her that had a problem with authority. She was quite delighted to hear someone taking the piss out of him by proclaiming the arrival of the country's actual number one hero. It was like poetry.

"I'll say." She remarked to Kiko's commentary. Shortly after plane dude's little scene, someone actually came out of the school. Looked like just another student, but at least they opened the door. That was progress. It looked like a teacher was arriving too. "I think they're getting ready to start." Yasu began to move towards the doors, with the vague implication that Kiko should too. "Wanna bet how long dipshit lasts? I reckon he won't last the year." It might be hypocritical of her to be making judgements on how problematic others would be, but if this guy planned on pulling any more stunts like this, she was pretty sure he'd be ten times the trouble she could ever be. At least she planned on trying to fit in here.

Me? A hero? I guess Japan is getting desperate.

The messy haired boy let out a condescending chuckle as took a seat on his questioning how far society has fallen. There were plenty of candidates that were much more capable then he was, candidates that actually WANTED to be a hero, so why did they take him?

The boy sunk into his bed with a frustrated sigh, the only reason he even took the exam was because of a promise that he had made. Ryota laid in his bed clueless for a few minutes before rising up and picking up the crumpled mess that was his acceptance letter, unraveling it and reading its contents for the umpteenth time.

β€œPlease make your way to the school hall at 8:00 A.M.”
As he read over this line, his phone almost simultaneously, the device vibrating on his pocket.

β€œHey Yuna...yeah I got accepted...”

Ryota Kiyoshi

Ryota had walked up the steps to Jigokuaraku academy going his own pace, dreading the start of the school year at this piece of shit school. He wished that the walk up wasn't so damn tedious, the school probably thought it'd be a great way to start the day...what a load of garbage. Despite not even making it up to the summit, he could hear the large commotion coming from the top. In response he let out a painful sigh, why’d I even think it would be that simple, this is a school for the undesirables after all.

After taking a few more steps, Ryota had reached the summit as well as acquired a visual on the group of students crowded around the school gates. He took a moment to evaluate his surroundings, scanning the courtyard from left to right. One look over the area and he could already had a good idea of the student demographics, even so that he could decipher the main culprit causing the noise that he heard on his trek up. Ryota rolled his eyes as he saw the students near the gate shifting themselves closer to the entrance and getting louder, school was probably going to start soon and instead of speeding up his pace he slowed it down even further. Ryota wasn't inclined to befriend anybody here, in fact he saw them as a nuisance, all of them. It would be much less of a hassle to let them all just trample each other once the gate opens all the way.

Yoshia Toya

So this was the place huh?

Toya had pretty quiet since she had arrived, having smuggled in a precooked burger and eating it out of it's wrapping as she silently watched the others mingle. The ascent had almost made her legs give up so she was taking a well deserved rest, eating and drinking to sustain herself, as Darwin once said. The red haired girl had a smirk and a glint in her eye as she recognised some people from the entrance exams and tried to give as many people a once over as she could and trying her hardest to remember names.

Making friends was gonna be fun. Everyone here was like her, unnaccpeted to any other academies which means she might have one of the coolest quirks here. She looked at her burger which had gone cold and sneakily exuded some hot steam from your hand to give it a quick burst of heat before continuing to finish it. As she did this her eyes scanned the crowd again, eyeing up everyone and looking at that "turbine" boy with a look of awe and also fear. He could be...difficult, she could see how he could counter her like immensely.

She sighed and looked around again when finally someone to tease appeared. Some guy sauntered up the stairs and she eyed him up, having a hard time remembering seeing him at the exam and walking over to him with a big grin.

"Yo! Don't worry slow poke you arnet gonna be late, well unless something else weird happens!" She let out some laughter and finished off her burger, still looking at him, smiling with glee still. God she was being insufferable. "Don't think i saw ya at the exam, you sure you're fit for this elite school heh?" She grinned wide and looked at everyone else, throwing some finger guns out before looking back to him, the steam girl acting like she was the coolest comedian with the biggest audience.

"Magical Miracle Purity Light?! Where?!"

"WHAT THE CRAP!"

Hiroki self aggrandizement and declaration of war against the school was interrupted suddenly by some fat kid. It can almost be construed that Hiroki was mistaken for that fairy princess and that earned the kid a death glare that would burn a whole through paper. It was almost as if Hiroki's yellow eyes had completely lost any sense of humanity in them. He was just a raging beast. "WHAT YOU SAY FATASS!?"

Hiroki sized up the guy, taking in some of his features, seeing anteanae, nerdy glasses, and a creepy sweaty face. Just like everyone else, it pissed him off.

It was only then that Kenji saw the culprit of the shouting, whose gaze alone might have cracked his shell, he had realized his mistake. His antennae fell flat over his head, now blending with the rest of his hair. He felt his stomach tie up in a knot with embarrassment as he stared back at the blue-toned wave of anger crashing over him. He never intended to start a conflict with anybody, especially on the first day here.

"Ah! I uh, didn't mean that you-- You said the number one hero was here so I thought that--." Kenji sputtered, waving his hands in front of his chest as if to surrender.

"DO I LOOK LIKE A FAIRY PRINCESS!?" He held his fist towards him, and Kenji could see... his wrists were huge cylinders. Like, the megaman power buster, save inside of the cylinders were what looked like... fan blades. Then there was a soft hum, and the blades started spinning...

The moment Hiroki lifted his wrists Kenji was less worried about social conflict and started to panic over what might turn into a very violent physical altercation. After all, he had no idea what that quirk could do. He decided the best course of action would be to try to calm him down.

"No! Of course not! You look very manly, like a video game protag!" Kenji praised with a nervous smile.

"Are you coming onto me!?" The wind picked up from his wrist, a growing wind that went from a mild breeze to a full blow hair dryer being blasted squarely in someones face. Enough to makes cheeks flap around.

He turned it off though with a little. Tsss... sound. The kid atleast knew how to praise which kind of was Hiroki's krypotnite. He closed his teeth and looked back at the door. Beside it was hard to hate someone with a shared interest. "Whatever. Its your first time so I'll let it slide Roach. But make sure you remember the na-" he was interrupted when a hand went over his shoulder.

Was everyone going to be an asshole today?

The hand, the smug words of some punk that just thought they could tell him to calm down.

"I understand that you hold a very high opinion of yourself, my friend, but if I were you I would calm down, you're only making a fool out of yourself."

This made Hiroki visibly seize up, he saw red. Hateful unbridled rage at the audacity. "Hmm... Funny. Maybe you should follow your own damn advice!" Opening your mouth to him, made you the fool, mostly because he made the motion to knock the interlopers teeth out. He took the hand and spun around, his arm spinning with the noticeably sound of an engine firing off. He aimed at head level but noticed that not only was the guy taller then him, he was a big friggin lizard!

He got flashbacks of the Croc back at the exam. He stopped himself before making contact, but Soga could see the same thing Kenji did, a fist surrounded by whirling blades, a wind passing through it blowing the dust around him.

"It's good to see you also made it, Sakimoto. I was confident you would make it."

He stopped himself, looking back towards the door he heard the prim and familiar voice and even he was thrown off, like when he saw Mari for the first time. "Checkers?" He let Sogas arm go directing his attention towards the girl of white and black. Another thing about Hiroki, either he gets distracted easily or he doesn't hold his rage very well. "What are you doing here? I mean what are you doing in the school?"

"Well she was the first person to show up." And ANOTHER hand went on Hiroki's shoulder.

Hiroki once again was triggered, thinking it was the guy from before, and he was asking for it! He turned raised fist in anger to take a swipe. "Listen here FRODO I'm not your fri-"

The smile that shown upon the deliquent was only described as... angelic. Perfect. Awe inspiring. The white light that came from this man's mouth was a spotlight almost all its own, and it caused the belligerent blue student to essentially stop in his tracks. He was paralyzed to onlookers, couldnt move and just frozen, his arm raised in a punch.

The man seemed to appear out of nowhere. Standing about six foot even. He wore pretty regular clothes, jeans, brown jacket, T shirt with a baseball team logo. He didnt even flinch when Hiroki made his move. "Sakimoto Hiroki. Are you causing trouble already?" He said casually.

The student didnt move...

The teacher laughed. "I thought not." He looked at the other students. A face of complete contentment and cheer on his face along with a brilliant smile. "Good to see you all got accepted! My name is Ohto Goudo! I'll be your home room teacher! You can call me Guodo Sensei!"

The name would be familiar to movie and tv buffs. Goudo was an actor. Not A list but definitely with a bunch of action movies under his belt, mostly playing spy thrillers as the good guy or charismatic bad guy. He apparently retired in order to do hero work, Goudo the Smiling Hero and has been in and out of the limelight over the last five years. He was voted one of the sexiest men alive in Japan two years ago as well and he has been a model for commercials a couple of times. What the heck he was doing at this school was anyone's guess.

Looking at those nearby. "Datari Shun.@Scribe of Thoth Haruishi Mari."@Stern Algorithm They would recognize him as the one who had held the bus of hostages' well, hostage. He was alot less scary now. "Great work, you three almost got me. And to see you three here as friends, well... Makes me proud to be your teacher." Hiroki still wasn't moving, though he was shaking. The teacher even noticed- "Tetsumi Shiki you recovered too. Much much tougher than I thought. Fantastic!"@Animal

He looked past them. "In fact I see alot of familiar faces!" he held up a thumbs up as if striking a heroing modeling pose. His big perfect shining teeth for all to see. "Great work out there everyone! I look forward to this new year! We have alot to do starting today! I hope you're all ready! Any stragglers can catch up. I'm sure they'll learn the merits of being on time soon enough." He was just... charming.

He turned and stood by the door holding it open. "Thank you Ms. Azukina Yomodachi, please bring all the students from Class 1 A to the assembly hall. Shall we Ms. Tanifuji Egao? holding the door for her. @AdmrlStalfos19

Hiroki suddenly moved again, his arm moving and he took a step, nearly falling over. His eyes wide. he had no idea what happened to him. nor for a second even who he was or where. "Wha... what the hell?" He was dumb founded for a second, looking straight ahead.

What’s this guy’s problem?

As she and Kenji approached the school and the growing crowd of students, following on the heels on the abnormally tall teacher, a single voice from among the many could be heard even from a distance. A student with blue skin, one she didn’t recognise from the entrance exam, was yelling something about the β€˜number one hero’ up at the second floor of the school; he was certainly full of himself if he was already giving himself that title, especially since anyone with any real claim to that title was probably attending one of the four pillars right now.

Well, a little confidence never hurt anyone, as long as didn’t exceed a person’s ability to back it up.

Beside her, Kenji made a comment about Magical Miracle Purity Light that had Akeno giving him a strange look out of the corner of her eye. The guy really didn’t seem like the type to make that kind of sarcastic remake, and especially didn’t seem confident enough to say it loud enough for everyone to here; she was starting to think she had misjudged the guy until she noticed the look on his face. Either he was a very good actor or he legitimately thought the guy was talking about the current number one hero showing up at this school of all places.

Unfortunately it seemed like the outburst hadn’t escaped the notice of blue boy, who immediately turned his attention to Kenji and began another round of yelling. Akeno sighed as the boy beside her dug himself deeper and deeper while airplane arms got angrier and more aggressive, even going so far as to activate his quirk and aim it at Kenji. The situation was escalating and it didn’t look like anyone was about to step in any time soon, herself included; she contemplated the idea of stepping between them and trying to defuse things, but if the situation did turn violent then between them was the last place she wanted to be.

Kenji was definitely able to take a beating better than she could, not that she’d just let him be attacked over a simple, albeit fairly dumb misunderstanding, but if a fight did break out she was better off staying where she was so she could try and take out airplane arms before he had a chance to do too much.

Luckily it seemed that, for now at least, he was willing to let it go and deactivate his quirk. After that another student finally arrived to try and defuse the situation, or at least take the heat onto himself, and Akeno took the chance to slip away from the blast zone. Hopefully Kenji was smart enough to do the same.

Approaching a group of students she didn’t recognise on the assumption that they were part of the other entrance exam, Akeno stopped in front of them before pointing a thumb over her shoulder towards the troublesome student who was now being reprimanded by what looked to be one of the teachers. β€œHey, were you in the same exam as that guy? Is he always like that, or does he just have first day nerves or something?”

"Thank you for your concern. My foot is fine, just cuts, nothing too deep. The school patched me up after the exam."

"G-good to hear..." Umi nodded as she said this, waiting for the dark-skinned girl to introduce herself as Haruishi Mari before saying anything further, "Er... m-my name? S-Suguro U-Umi. N-Nice to meet y-you."

After having reacted so weirdly to her own tap of the shoulder, Umi decided that a simple wave of hello would be suffice. She was never very good with social situations; that much was evident from her constant stuttering every time she opened her mouth. Still, Mari seemed like a nice enough person. Suddenly, missing the allies Umi teamed up with in the exam didn't feel so bad after all.

...

Someone would later ask what the deal was with a certain blue-skinned boy within the group, and now that she thought of it, Umi did recall him from the day of the exam as well... if only barely. He reminded her of one of the bullies that turned her Human Sponge Quirk against her after having done their homework on it, forcefully making her body grow out of her own clothes by dumping buckets of water on her and humiliating her in the process. Umi made certain to stay away from the boy out of that reminder alone.

The blue-skinned boy made a highly arrogant boast about being the number 1 hero, only to go berserk when someone had mistaken him for the real deal. Another student had tried to put a stop to the outrage, only to face his own threat of being attacked. Things were getting too far out of hand too quickly; it was enough to make Umi want to cry out in anguish...

Tanifuji threw everything she was carrying to the floor of the gymnasium that she was taking it to, and bolted towards the scene with all the might in her legs. As she ran, her thoughts lead her to wonder what the hell the principal was thinking when she allowed Sakimoto Hiroki to be admitted into Jigokuraku Academy. His abrasive nature knew no bounds, and to say that'd be a problem would be the understatement of the year. By the sound of it, he already made a scene right on the first day of school. True, one of the students had put a valiant effort to stop it from escalating, but that was something only a teacher would be able to successfully diffuse in the end.

Thankfully, Ohto Goudo had accomplished that very thing by the time Tanifuji arrived.
The normally excitable giantess breathed a sigh of relief; if it were up to her, she would probably have ultimately decided that the best course of action was to kick Hiroki so hard he'd have to redo the climb up the mountain path all over again. No doubt she'd get into trouble over acting so rashly. Once again, Goudo proved to be the lifesaver that he always was. It was enough bring a smile to Tanifuji's face.

"Shall we Ms. Tanifuji Egao?"

"Right," Tanifuji moved to hold the other door, and ushered the other students inside, "To the hall, everyone; assembly's just about to start!"

...

As the students moved inside, Tanifuji caught a glimpse of the boy that Hiroki had originally confronted. He had shoulder-length black hair, thick black-rimmed glasses and a couple of antennae on his head, and he looked to be rather plump as well. It was rare for a Japanese person to become heavyset, but so was the off-chance that a woman would reach anywhere near Tanifuji's height. Tanifuji rested a hand on the boy's shoulder, just as he was about to pass her by and join everyone else in the assembly.

"You OK, there? Sakimoto-kun didn't lay it on you too thick, did he?" she asked, with a friendly smile on her face.

The distorted reflection of the mountain flickered within the immaculate, jet-black body of an entirely too-expensive car, slowing to a still-image as the car found the end of its path. With a mechanic click, the doors opened, and Yachiyo jumped onto the earth with a little leap, instantly dirtying her previously-spotless shoes.

"That's it!"

The driver, hovering in between offering encouraging words and letting the moment be, nodded sagely, his eyes closed as if appreciative of the surrounding nature. "Quite so." He handed Yachiyo a small bag, which the girl strapped over her shoulder without hesitation, bucking up to reposition the strap into a more comfortable position, a bright smile fixed upon the rocky structure that loomed above her. "I assume the rest of your luggage will be accomodated shortly, Miss Adachihara?"

Yachiyo shrugged, and began to her pilgrimage upwards.

"No clue; let-me-know-how-it went,-please-and-thank-youuu!"

Graciously ignoring her chauffeurs evidently shook facade, the dark-haired girl marched on, registering every little pebble underneath her shoes with

She was late. She knew. Her bags were the least of her concern. How would she scale this path in time?!

The gentle pink that seemed to have made Yachiyo’s face a permanent residence had grown into a deep shade of red, her face flushed and laboured; her teeth were clenched, sucking in air through the lethargically-opened lips, knuckles pressed white against the leather straps of her bag, her shoes hopelessly smudged with caked layers of dirt.

"β€œI… I’m here," she croaked, observing the scenery through heavy-lidded eyes. So many faces and different types. A guy with machine arms, a flower girl, a boy with an antenna, and a whole lot of other peeps, seemingly of all backgrounds and creeds. A small flame of excitement flickered inside her chest, but quickly chilled into a sad little dimmer upon witnessing the blue-skinned guy’s display.

Just charming. Heh.

Yachiyo’s posture relaxed into a state of permissible exhaustion; she hadn’t been too late. Her lungs expanded with a direly needed deep breath, her grip loosened, her shoulders slumped just a tad and…

I AM TOO LATE!

Immediately returning to her militant stiffness, she hurried towards the lonesome teacher, beckoned by the two-tone-haired student, bowing feverously.

β€œI’m-very-sorry-for-this-disastrous-first-impression-please-do-forgive-me-I-promise-I-shall-not-disappoint-the-institution-after-such-a-humbling-recognition-it-is-an-honor-to-meet-and-study-under-you-I-assure-this-even-if-this-blue-skinned-hooligan-does-not-express-it-we-are-all-honored!”

She rattered her apology into the ground, loud enough to rival Hiroki, and uncomfortably out of space among her relaxed and confident future-classmates. The red cheeks flared into a sea of crimson as she realized her position, and quickly, Yachiyo straightened into a stiff nothing, forcing her face to turn into a smile that screamed a mute scream for help

β€œUhm… Ahem, I mean, it’s a pleasure to make… everyone’s acquaintance.”

Then, finally, the awkwardly-touched girl allowed her eyes to leer away from the crowd, and wander across the unfamiliar faces of her fellow students.

It wasn’t until her gaze met Guodo’s face that the crimson was exchanged for straight-up neon glow, steam piping through her ear canal to match her racing heartbeat.

β€œAN ABSOLUTE PUH-LEASURE, SENSEIII!”

Ryota Kiyoshi

Interacting with: Yoshia Toya@Scallop

Ryota was trudging along at the speed of molasses, watching the blue skinned neanderthal continue his tantrum. Ryota made sure to take a mental note this guys short temper as the boy blew high speed wind into some chubby kids face causing the boys hair and cheeks to flap vigorously out loud. A wind based quirk user would definitely be troublesome if they were ever to get into an altercation. It seemed as though the large boy didn't want any problems, quickly surrendering and even kissing ass in order to get out of the situation he didn't even start, the guy was utterly spineless.

Interesting

Soon enough the teachers defused the situation, thus bringing an end to Ryotas slight bit of morning entertainment...or so he thought. A girl, slightly shorter than himself had to courage to walk up to him and try to make small talk. She was way to cheerful for someone on the top of a mountain in cold weather at 8 A.M. and it was pretty offsetting. Ryota wasn't all that interesting in making conversation with her, when the girl tried joke with him his face was straight. Ryota gave her a cold stare, not even showing off a glimpse of amusement from the joke that she cracked, he prayed that she'd take the social cue and end the conversation but nope that would've been too easy for Ryota. She went on to inquire about his whereabouts during the exam before questioning whether he fits into Jigokuraku.

Ryota took a look at all the students attending this 'elite school' before turning back to the girl who was now pointing finger guns at him"Nah, even someone like me isn't this close to the bottom of the barrel." He gave the girl an apathetic look as he decided to put an end to this conversation, hopefully this would be enough to keep her away.

"You don't have any friends, do you?"

Ryota's attention then shifted to a restless late comer who just made their to the top of the summit, he watched silently as he watched her desperately catch her breath. While she rested for a bit, the boy let out a subtle chuckle at the thought of even caring so much as to work himself half to dead just to make it here on time, she looked a complete mess. Her shoes and socks were soiled with mud and her clothes were wrinkled. Just when he thought the morning entertainment was over he watched as the girl made a fool out of herself as she apologized anxiously and loudly to the teacher near the gate in which Ryota took another mental note.

Ryota began to pick up his pace as the gates invited the students in, hopefully he would be able to lose her in the crowd. Originally he was going to straggle behind the mob of students but he'd rather get trampled than continue to converse with that girl, people like her make themselves comfortable if you don't shut them down right out of the gates.

Quirk: USB (Tail)

Watching the altercation between Turbine-Kun and the other students from afar, certainly didn't make Shiki any less concerned. All of his attention was focused on them, until he quickly realized something. If a fight were to break out involving their quirks, he didn't want to be caught up in it. He was well aware of how powerful Sakimoto gusts were during the entrance exam, as demonstrated during the very beginning. So, he made an attempt to break away from his group, only to be interrupted by Shun before he even had a chance.

"C'mon-c'mon-c'mon-let's-go-inside!"

"Y-Yeah..." Was all he could mutter, but it wasn't because he wanted to get Shun off his back. Shiki's eyes were locked on one particular individual beyond the gate.

It was her...Tanifuji-Sensei, otherwise known as 'The Dragon'. The person who effortlessly threw him across multiple zones during the entrance exam, causing Shiki to suffer several injuries as a result. She was nothing more than a heartless villain to Shiki and the very reason why he cannot peacefully sleep at night. The sight of her caused Shiki to lose grip of his coffee cup, spilling its contents by his feet. Yet, his posture remained the same albeit frozen in fear with his heartbeat racing. The unsettling memory of that day was replaying in his head. He paid no attention to the Smiling Hero's compliment or anyone else for that matter, though it probably would've helped if he listened. But, it was too late...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SHE CAME BACK TO FINISH THE JOB!" He shrieked, having his hands placed on top of his head while he shouted. His outburst was just as loud and echoing as Hiroki earlier.

Without much hesitation, Shiki attempted to flee away from Tanifuji-Sensei much like before. Once again, he was surprisingly fast with the rush of adrenaline and all. Only this time, he had plenty of human obstacles to maneuver around, assuming it would deter Tanifuji from pursuing him. His eyes were locked onto the staircase descending down the mountain, screw the first day, he thought. However, he miscalculated and noticed the newly arrived tardy student walking into his path. He was running way too fast to stop himself and the collision was imminent.

Kenji Ito

Quirk: Beetle!

The encounter, thankfully, was over. The blast of wind in Kenji’s face came as a bit of a surprise, but if it wasn’t for the tension of the situation he might have laughed. The cold air suddenly going from slight breeze to a short gust pushing on his exoskeleton at most gave him a shiver. He understood that the fiery student hadn’t intended on hurting him, but he might have equated it to a warning shot.

β€œHis quirk is so cool…” Kenji thought to himself as Akeno wordlessly left his side and windboy was carted off by more confrontational students. Now that he had thought about it, he had been so wrapped up by the school and the one-sided screaming match that he hadn’t at all scoped out the other students save for someone he had already met at the exam. He hoped that soon he would get to meet all sorts of interesting people.

Then, finally, the teachers intervened in the situation. As if by magic the previously aggressive student was completely pacified by the smiling man. He didn’t recognize him exactly, but something about him was oddly familiar. It was finally starting to calm down outside as people were being let into the building. Kenji shuffled in with the rest of the students, keeping his distance from denser parts of the crowd.

He was stopped by a taller woman, much taller. The very same that called the students into the building. Not to his surprise, she very kindly checked up on him after witnessing the event preceding. Very teacher-like.

β€œHeh. I’ll admit he gave me a jump, b-but I don’t think he’s all that bad. I think he’s just as excited as I am, and he just has a different way of showing it than I do. I’m-- I’m sure we’ll get along eventually.” Kenji smiled, his antennae re-positioned themselves in a slightly upward angle.

I hope.

β€œYou’re a teacher, right? I’m Ito Kenji, I look forward to attending this academy.” Kenji bowed briefly before standing up straight and heaved his hiking pack higher up to adjust it once again before marching inside with the rest of the students.

Yutsuko Soga

Interaction/Mention: @ShwiggityShwah@Sunbather@Animal

"Hmm... Funny. Maybe you should follow your own damn advice!" Was all that Hiroki replied to to Soga's attempt at defusing the situation, turning towards him and aiming the same cylinders he had aimed towards Kenji releasing a similar blast of air towards him, though it did little to him except make Soga frown as the student seemingly wanted to start another fight, now with him instead of Kenji.

If a fight were to start, Soga was unsure if he would be able to win against Hiroki, after all, he had never focused on physical activities in the past, much less actual combat training as all he needed to do in the past was simply intimidate someone and they would simply stand back, it clearly did not work now. So, Soga's mind was working as fast as it could to think of something to do in this case to either avoid further conflict, or something that would help him in case an all out fight started between the two of them.

Thankfully enough, a teacher intervened before the situation got out of hand. The teacher had a broad smile and did seem vaguely familiar, though he could not exactly place it when he had seen him, maybe a movie, or commercial or something of the sort. Either way, this teacher had calmed the situation down, with Hiroki being left completely wordless. Soga straightened himself out and was about to thank the teacher for his timely intervention when another student arrived and promptly and quite loudly apologized.

Soga was left a bit surprised by the girl's demeanor and look in general, what with her now crimson cheeks. Soga could easily guess that it was because of exhaustion mixed in with some embarrassment. For a few moments, he simply stared at her as she looked everyone over, including himself. He felt his heart skip a beat as she did so and was about to open his mouth to greet her as well, until he saw her staring at the smiling teacher with lover struck eyes and could not help but lightly growl towards the teacher as she did so, shooting him a brief glare as for the first time in his life, jealousy took him over.

He quickly calmed himself down before speaking to Goudo in his usual serious, stoic tone, perhaps with a bit of resentment mixed in between that. "Thank you for intervening, Sensei, it his highly appreciated." Saying that, he turned towards and approached Yachiyo to say something to her with a smile, however, before he could say anything he heard a shriek coming from the crowd and another student running from another teacher for whatever reason. It took Soga only a moment to see that this new student would collide straight into the one he was about to talk to. So, once more, before he could even properly think of the consequences of the situation, he rushed to intercept this new student before the collision would take place, interposing himself between Shiki and Yachiyo.

Only when Shiki had finally collided with him, would he be able to realize the mistake he had done in intercepting him.

For one Takahashi Seijin slowly making the trek up the steps leading to Jigokuraku, 'getting on time' seemed more like a suggestion if anything. He woke up late this morning, as usual, took his sweet time getting dressed, kissing Ma goodbye and getting wished good luck for the day, before leaving the house and making way to the Academy without any sense of urgency. The fur-collared heavy parka he wore felt particularly soft and warm for the winter cold setting upon Kirisama, the many metal zippers adorning the jacket made clinking noises with each step taken up. His tall, lean body took a deep breathe in of the chilly wind whilst walking up.

The young teen had an aloof expression on his face, the last dozen or so steps till the mountain summit, he shifts his gaze back down and grimaces inwardly as he came to realize how high up he was. It's a reaaaal bother that they had to have the school all the way up here. Build a ski lift up the mountain why don't cha. For convenience's sake. With that, if anyone was present to noticed how Seijin hurried the rest of the way up, well they wouldn't have been wrong to assume a fear of heights. But that wouldn't do at all, he might be apathetic about most things but it wouldn't do for people to get the wrong idea about him with first impressions.

Seijin reached the summit and walked in onto the sight of a crowd of students and a lone teacher and so far, most of which who were mingling outside the open gates leading into Jigokuraku Academy. His half-lidded eyes, that betrayed his lack of any real motivation, scanned through the group of people who he guessed he had to get to know following the next couple of years. A blue windbag, chunky with antennas, pretty boy teacher, and what could only be someone's pet plant that sprouted arms and legs, only to name the few who caught his attention, also can't forget the black humanoid dragon in pants.

He shuffled over amongst those who began to head through the gates, trying not to draw any attention to himself as he did. The blonde had no qualms about throwing his weight around and putting people in their places to establish top position over the students but it was only the first day and he really didn't feel up for it on the get go. Seems like a lot of work to do in the future...

Shun's eager grin scrunched up into a face of perplexion as Shiki abruptly dropped his coffee. To the casual observer, it may have looked like Shun's body distorted and blurred while he took a step back to avoid any splashing beverage; but a more focused eye would note that his feet never actually moved. He was in one spot, he flickered a little, and then he was a few inches behind where he was previously standing. He barely got out a "Um, are you alri-" before the other boy was screaming and running for the stairs, leaving Shun frowning and utterly confused.

The sudden outburst from the quiet boy left him pretty much stunned. Was this a running - ha, running - joke that he wasn't getting? Was Shun really that unpleasant to talk to that people had to run in fear of his conversations? Was Shiki just weird?

When Shun managed to collect himself afterward, his first instinct was to pursue, but he'd just finished recomposing himself from his last warp - if the few inches he'd teleported could even be called a full pixelation - and he wasn't about to subject himself to a double jump if there was no immediate danger. He'd just have to let someone else handle it... or wait until the tailed boy toppled into some new kid. Ouch.

He looked over to the newly arrived Akeno at last, perking up a bit but not quite reaching his usual level of enthusiasm. She was tall. Not Mari-tall, but pretty close.

"Huh? Airplane Arms? He was like that at our exam too. And after it got called off early he yelled at me for... I'm not even sure!" The spaz chirped amicably in response to her earlier inquiry about Hiroki's behavior without skipping a beat; he seemed content to just pretend Shiki's... freak out had never occurred at all.

Shun barely gave her a chance to respond before diverting his attention toward Guodo at the mention of his name. He was the homeroom teacher? How was Shun supposed to kick him in the face now? Although, to be fair, he didn't act much like the villain they'd fought on the bus. In fact, Shun was positively starstruck throughout most of the teacher's speech. The teacher even complemented him! Now he definitely had an issue with kicking him in the face. When he finally came to, he blinked rapidly before returning his attention to Akeno.

"Oh, uh, sorry. That was my name," he thumbed toward Colgate-sensei, "Datari Shun, nice to meet you." He bowed formally toward the taller girl after his disjointed introduction.

Sun was lightly shining between the branches of the trees, onto the snowy path that trailed up the mountain. It wasn't ordinary to be climbing up the mountain this time of year but, it was a must for the new students of Jigokuraku academy. There first day was about to start and they shouldn't arrive later then requested.

Snow was burning from the path at a fast pace, trailing down the mountain side in small streams of water. The path had been cleared for a large amount, from the bottom towards about halfway had the gravel revealed its colors once more. Was it magic? An automated heating path? At the blink of an eye the snow dissapeared without cause. Or was it?

Softly panting her way up the mountain was a teenage girl named Elina. The walk up wasn't nothing and certainly raised a sweat yet she was determined that she could do it! With her brown school shoes already on, white socks, a brown miniskirt and a white short sleeved blouse she was facing the challenge. Not any normal girl would be wearing such an attire, especially for a wintery day up the mountain towards the school, but she certainly was. Her firey red hair blazing in the wind as it flikkered, small embers flying off towards the sky. Yes, this girl her hair was on fire. She had it nicely formed in a coupe so that it would sit like normal hair, only a bit brighter.

The path before her was softly burning away while under her the path had been completely cleaned of snow leaving only her shoes slightly wet. The students under her must have avalanches and water streams down their faces by now yet, she paid no heed to it. With a coffee in her hand softly sipping it she was further scalling the mountain untill...

"Huff! I made it!"

A tired sigh exclaimed as she held her hands to her knees! It had been a journey of two hours long but she finally made it. Her fellow students were gathered in front of her near the enterance of the door likely waiting for it to be sesam opened. Elina approached them and startled some of them. Her fire was fully blazing to keep her from getting cold in this summer clothing getup. Even her coffee stayed completely hot this way. Excessive snow was melting around them in a clear circle that led to her and her hair. She had been waiting for it to cool down for two hours down and was left clueless on why it wouldn't cool down. She took yet another sip as she glanced around her. So many teens with all fighting quirks. Heck, she even choked once she spotted that dragon next to her.

Closest to her was a small girl with blue hair that looked like she could break any minute, Elina found her to be cute, she must be careful with her. A blue skinned boy stood out among the rest of the group claiming to be the number one hero. He was however talked down by this teacher or something, poor guy. She didn't bother looking at the cool guy though, his looks were to bright.

"do you turn blue when you become the number one hero."

She bluntly asked towards Hiroki after he was taken out of the paralysis. He was only proclaiming her was the number one hero, some wannabe. She gave a teasing look before seeing what interesting people there were furthermore.

Furthermore close to her was a blonde haired man which she didn't see untill she turned towards him. Just like any anime trope she will accidently bump against Seijin. With her head she accidently bumped against Seijin his back. She squinted and was generally taken off guard as she stumbled back. Elina looked of to the side while unconspicuosly sipping her coffee. Did she do that? He might not notice. Her head had caused his clothes to burn through just slightly, it left a big black burn mark on the back of his clothes. She awkwardly looked around and bowed.

"I am very sorry. That happens a lot. Umm, can I pay you for this..."

β€œHeh. I’ll admit he gave me a jump, b-but I don’t think he’s all that bad. I think he’s just as excited as I am, and he just has a different way of showing it than I do. I’m-- I’m sure we’ll get along eventually.”

Well... Hiroki must've had a different way of showing it, alright. Still, judging by what he was saying, Ito Kenji seemed to have taken the aggression that was forced upon him like a champ. Either that, he was simply being modest... for Hiroki's sake, funnily enough. Regardless, it was good to hear that Kenji came out the other end in one piece. He even expressed in looking forward to attending the academy.

"That's great, I look forward to have you here too!" Tanifuji exclaimed, letting her excitement known, "Oh, and if Sakimoto-kun happens to give you any more trouble, don't be afraid to let young Tanifuji-senpai here or any of the other teachers know. We'll set him straight; even if we have to..."

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! SHE CAME BACK TO FINISH THE JOB!"

Tanifuji recognized that voice all to well, and as she whipped around back to the other students, it wasn't hard to put a face to the name. That beanie. Those glasses. That strange tail with an end that seemed to resemble a USB port. Tanifuji's smile had vanished completely.

"Hold on; this isn't the exam any more, Tetsumi-kun!" Tanifuji called out in desperation, "I'm really a nice girl deep down, I promise!"

But it was too late. Tanifuji could only watch as Tetsumi Shiki charged the opposing direction with reckless abandon, weaving his way passed the other students and even looking to head straight into a girl with a ponytail that happened to be late in arrival. Tanifuji's thoughts drifted back to the day of the exam. She was supposed to have caught Shiki after she kicked him over to that other zone but, despite her best efforts, she wasn't fast enough to catch up to him, leaving him to crash into that mailbox and be put out of commission. True, failing to keep an eye on how strong her Quirk had gotten didn't help, but the real kicker was the idea of Tanifuji playing the part of a deranged psychopath for the exams. It was supposed to be a fun role to take up; she had no idea that it could scar anyone so badly...

She'd have to apologize to Shiki for leading him to think she was a sadist, but for now, she tried to re-establish the smile she had earlier as she returned her attention to Kenji. She didn't want him to think that something went so wrong that she couldn't fix it.

"Go on inside," she instructed in a soft tone.

The girl's response was helpful at least, even if it took her a while to get it out. She was clearly a bit socially inept, so Souta wasn't going to follow after her when she took off. He wasn't going to force himself on anyone, he just wanted directions, that's the long and short of it.

Her eyes were still weird though. Oh well, it wasn't important, if it had anything to do with her quirk, he'd find out soon enough.

The group over there seemed to be getting loud, real loud. One voice in specific actually. Souta didn't know any of the other students' names, but that one over there, the blue one, he didn't need a name to stick in Souta's mind the instant he saw him, roaring arrogantly and only being quelled by a teacher's intervention.

Souta hated him already.

Some UA wannabe who thought he was better than everyone else. Souta immediately felt the warmth of anger fill the vacuum that had taken hold of him ever since the breaking of his arm. He was shocked. Somehow he felt... passionate again. Just from seeing some asshole being an asshole. Huh. He'd have to think on that more, but right now he'd rather dwell on how he'd knock the blue kid down a peg rather than be happy that he felt alive again.

He had managed to antagonize a good portion of the class already, so the lot of them probably wouldn't mind if he tried to deal some sweet justice.

Wait, okay, so the teacher that just intervened was apparently their homeroom teacher, and he had said that they needed to head to the assembly hall, which another of the teachers had repeated. Okay. Souta had lost himself a bit there. He should probably start heading in, he didn't wanna be the one guy who didn't show.

He started walking in, but the path that he was taking didn't seem right, it wasn't close enough. He needed to move over just a bit, juuuust a bit.

In the effort of doing so, he bumbled into the bulky fellow, and it felt like he'd knocked his elbow off of a rock. People were usually soft, not solid stone as this guy seemed to be. He probably would have fallen if not for his quirk balancing him.

"Oh uh, sorry," he said simply, offering a slightly softened scowl to the larger boy, before continuing on his way.

As he passed by the blue-skinned student, he slowed to a stop and rubbed the back of his neck in faux-introspection. He loudly sighed.

"All these students, and none of them impress me," he said. Another sigh came out of his mouth. "Guess I'm just gonna be the stand-out. I thought I'd at least have to try. How disappointing."

He offered a pointed look at the boy with the turbines for arms.

This was going to be fun.
