Silver Carrot Wow I've been here a while

XIII is underrated and and X is a bit overrated, but I still prefer X to XIII because I'm a sucker for classic Final Fantasy gameplay.

XIII is better than X-2. If an open world to explore and lots to do is so important, you should love X-2. XIII is actually somewhat focused.

Post-game for all three games is bull, though.

@Silver Carrot I actually like XIII-2 more than any of them. X is overrated. But XIII is just crap.

@fer1323 I would imagine so since they are video games.

@Altered Tundra thanks for confirmation

Well, Anthem is an unfixable royal mess that gets worse with each patch.

Destiny is an expensive and fustrating but playable piece of work.

Division seems to been in a good place and hands. Crossing the fingers and toes.

Warframe, despite some rough edges and a steep beginner's learning curve, is the most rewarding and best shooter looter out there.

Critisim and discussuion is welcome as these are my opionon based on my experiences. Your opoinons might differ as you might have a different experience than mine.

The best thing about Anthem is as a former SWTOR player (as in, the last time BioWare tried to do an online co-op experience thing) is that I can sit back and be all "Hah, told you so" because if there's one thing BioWare's been good at for years it's bungling their way towards minor profitability.

Anthem is great because I can just run into enemies with Colossus shield.

Why use gun for small projectile when man is big projectile.

That alone gave me 40+ hours of enjoyment and is why I like it over warframe atm other than I don't really care to feel like a ninja.

Except for borderlands, I don't really care for any other looter shooter and do not have much else to say on the topic.

Though I can (and will) talk anyone's ear off on why I think Iron Harvest is looking to be the best RTS game in nearly 2 decades. Everything since Tiberian Sun has failed to meet the standard that I feel TS set, though I did quite enjoy Tiberium Wars competitively and SupCom came really close.

I'm playing Final Fantasy 7 on the switch.

I would say this game hasn't aged well, but then it wasn't aged well in 1997 either.

MK11 is so goddamn mediocre. The neatherealm studios formula is really wearing thin.

The Jax ending controversy is a laugh though.

Blood finally has an official source port in the form of Blood: Fresh Supply released by Nightdive Studios. If you're a fan of the game or just 90's fps in general, get on GOG or Steam and grab it.
Alongside Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior, it is one of the best Build Engine games ever produced and one of Monolith Software's finest hours.

Here's a question. How does the latest Blood release pan up to fan versions that have been developed?

Not to take anything away from the fan versions (big fan of BloodGDX personally), but Fresh Supply is the best release you'll find. It seems like Nightdive have reverse engineered their port and are using the KEX engine, rather than creating it from the original source code, but from my time playing it I've found it to be very smooth and functional. I have encountered zero glitches and no engine weirdness at all.

1,5 hours into YIIK. I love this game for every reason I shouldn't. Its terribly written, gaudy, full of minor graphical errors that add up, nonsensical use of present and past tense, the combat is inconsistent and terrible and overall it's a really terrible time to be had with a videogame. Everyone should play this game, it's so fun to tear it apart while being so little fun to play.

I mean, seriously, I still don't get whether this is happening as a flashback or in real-time as the game's contradicting itself at every step. Also random shit just happens with no explanation sometimes, other times with no reaction but most of the time with both. Seriously, I still don't know why Panda was where he was, how he can talk, where the fuck he's being stored or who he even is. He just shows up randomly as an item and I'm doubtful the game's ever going to explain him at the rate we're going.

Everyone should play YIIK. It's so bad it's good.

YIIK is like someone who read Haruki Murakami and played Earthbound and didn't understand the appeal of either but wanted to make something that was inspired by both to the point of plagiarism at times. It's pretty much the closest we've legit come to a The Room for video games except unlike Tommy Wiseau, the dude what wrote and made YIIK had a melty.
