System alerts are still going off and can be heard throughout the Playground. Goose is running around the legs of Tinley, Cass, and Conrad, meowing up at them as if going "Chop Chop, hoomans! It's go time!" The alarms in the Playground have to be manually deactivated from either Technology or Barton's office, which might be something you want to do, as the alarms are incredibly loud and will definitely give you a headache if they go on too much longer.

Agent Tinley Abercrombie is the ranking agent in charge right now at the Playground - so it's time to get your orders from her if you haven't already!

Novikova was nervous and for good reason. She was a mutant and the increased Purifier presence in the area was a large reason as to why she dyed her naturally silver hair. It made her stick out to them, caused them to go and harass her - and not all of them believed that she was dyed it silver. Some of them would figure out that was a lie, that she was one of the muties they hated so much, and attack her. It was easier to hide and keep a low profile. "There's ten of them," Novikova whispered to Maria.

She nodded a bit as Maria said to not engage, but thanks to the stealth suit it meant that Maria wouldn't see it and Novikova could have kicked herself. "Alright...," she said quietly. It made her uncomfortable, leaving the Purifiers on the doorstep of their fellow agents and sneaking away. Yes, she wanted to enact her plan to save Sparky and Raynor, but she had friends down in the bunker. They were counting on her. Leaving the Playground behind when an attack could be coming... That wasn't why she joined S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Alexander Jakobsen - the man who used to stand for SOMETHING," one of the Purifiers began, speaking into a megaphone, "has ABANDONED US. Our streets are terrorized with mutants - our children at schools are not SAFE! Since when is it legal to have a weapon of mass destruction in a classroom? Do you want them in your neighborhood? They are abominations and threats - threats we need to monitor and remove!"

"They seem hostile." She didn't say a word beyond that, before she reached her hand out and focused on the megaphone. It was made of metal and while it was a bit of a way away, she closed her eyes and could sense it. She could feel the particles that constructed it. And as Novikova clenched her fist, the megaphone crumpled into a wad of metal, cutting up the Purifier's hand who was holding it.

"They're here! Find them!" the Purifier snapped.

"You don't seem like you are alright..." Sparky muttered under her breath, looking at the spiders. It was like she was in her worst nightmare right now, and she could not wake up from it. That basically was everything for her that had happened while being stuck there, a living nightmare. Problem was that there wasn't a way out of this nightmare, at least not one that they could see, so they were basically stuck where they were, and having to deal with mobs and mobs of spiders.

She preferred the idea of being able to kill a spider with her foot, but no, that would be way too easy. These things of course had to be bigger than the typical house spider. Why couldn't they be easier to squish or something? This place was weird in her mind, but of course that was to be expected. When Janet had said to leave her behind, she knew that it was a really bad idea, since if they got separated, then they'd never find each other again. "No... We stick together..." she said softly, looking over at the Wasp.

Flynn was a bit annoyed by Tempest's interruption, and honestly was wondering just how much access the woman had to the security systems. He did wonder if it was a good thing for her to be able to look at the security cameras all of the time when she doesn't need to or wasn't asked to. Now he was thinking about going to ask her about that, she really needed to learn about privacy and spying on other people, maybe he'd smack her over the head while he was at it, not like she wouldn't deserve it.

Hearing Bonnie's words though, and that Tempest's words clearly had effected her made him really want to smack Tempest around. She did not need something like that, clearly the woman didn't know a damn thing about people. He'd purposefully been avoiding mentioning her previous marriage, and that was part of the reason why he'd held off asking her out, not sure how she'd react to it. "I know Bonnie... I really do, okay? I understand if you don't want to go out with me because of that, but I'd appreciate it if you reconsidered that... I'll wait if that is what you want, if you don't want to or whatever, it's your choice..." he said softly to her, giving her a smile.

These people were way too slow when it came to moving, obviously something was wrong, and they were being slower than snails moving! Hoomans need to learn to move much more quickly! Honestly, what are they doing? Fury would never approve of his agents moving this slow, really! I'll have to tell him about it later, since this is ridiculous. They need to learn to move quicker, otherwise who knows what could happen! Maybe I should claw at their ankles or something to get them to move more quickly... Would probably work out for the best.

They also need to turn off those blasted alarms! Do these hoomans not have any ears or something? Or do they just have really crappy hearing? The alarms are so loud, how could they NOT hear that? "MEOW!!!" I yell at them, trying to tell them to turn off the dumb thing before we all go deaf! Though it seems like the hoomans are already deaf if they can't hear that dumb alarm and haven't turned it off already!

Niah waited for orders from Tinley and when she was given none she looked at Tempest and said "I'll check my laptop and bring it to you if it was on and open." If there was anything for her to do after that she would step in as needed. Niah knew perfectly well she wasn't a great field agent. Her skills were best for aftermath, or as the infiltration into the bank had taught her getting information. Her gaze paused on the new guy and wondered if Tinely and her would ask him a few questions later, just in case.

She hurried to her room, saw that her laptop had indeed been open and on she sighed relieved and could only hope Tempest could pull something from it. Though the thought also made her a bit nervous and she would have to remember to cover the camera when she didn't want it on, like when she was changing. Niah grabbed it and the charger, just in case and went back to Tempest's room. "When you're ready. Focus on the Purifiers first. I appreciate your help." She told her offering it over.

Cassandra looked towards Tinley for a moment and gave her a nod. "Sure thing." She said, as she looked down at Goose who was meowing and going between her legs, Tinley's and Conrad's as well. She wasn't a vet or anything but she had a feeling that the alarms were really loud and painful for the cat's ears. "If you want any gear we have some in the tech labs if you want to help yourself. I'm Agent Reed by the way." She said, before turning around and started to make her way back towards Technology she sat down and pulled up a seat at the console with the cameras.

Cass then quickly found the button that would shutdown the rather loud and annoying alarm that went off, it was now quiet and closed her eyes and sighed a bit. She really did hate loud noises like the alarms that always went off, but she was the one to help set up the security systems with the help of Harry as well to. She then started to monitor the cameras rather closely and looked over her shoulder towards Harry as he was searching for a scanner.

Harry moved over towards a drawer where he had kept some of the things that he had been building, he spent a lot of his time here as well assembling weapons, and other little gadgets for the team and base as well. Harry set the file down at a nearby table as he started to search around a bit more. He was getting a little bit annoyed with the sounds of the alarm going off, as Harry concentrated on finding what he was needed. And eventually he found what he was looking for just as Cass came into the room, and gave her a slight nod as he picked up the scanner and made his way over towards the file.

He then closed his eyes when Cass finally shutdown the alarm, now it wasn't loud and annoying at all anymore as he looked back at her. "Thought it would never stop going off." Harry said jokingly as he then went back and started to scan the file for any kind of finger prints. He wasn't sure who would have snuck into Barton's office, but maybe he would be able to find out who had touched it recently other than him of course.

Maria took a moment to look at Novikova when she said she had counted about ten of them, which wasn't a lot but they would still be able to do a lot of harm to them as well as the team to. She of course listened to what the one on the megaphone was saying made her roll her eyes. They were all a bunch of haters, and they hated people like her as Maria started to think a little bit about what to do, now that she saw what weapons they were holding. She looked towards Novikova and then the one who was using the megaphone, seeing it suddenly just crumble up into a ball in his hand.

Maria quickly thought for a moment leading Novikova to a little bit of cover, she didn't want their team to get hurt either as well and thought of an idea. "Okay, scratch not engaging them. They are holding automatic rifles." She whispered. "See if you can do that again on their guns. I can help, if you want you know." Maria didn't want to use her powers on Novikova but she wanted to at least get permission first as well. And she wasn't sure which power she would end up having from Novi either, or she may make her really sick, take on her personality, or worse. "If we can take their guns, they will be easy pickings for the team and we can continue on."

Tinley really didn't need this now, but there was nothing else she could do at the moment other than to give orders. She trusted her team. "All right Agent Wu, follow me to get geared up. I believe we can scrap something together for you to use." She turned on the comms to address the entire facility once the alarms had turned off. "This is Agent Abercrombie. We have Purifier activity out there along with two members of our team. Agent Wu and I will be going out to retrieve Agents Novikova and Smith. While we are doing so, Agent Renroir, I want you monitoring security. If there are signs of Purifiers finding our base, alert the others and take care of them. Agent McCormick, you already have a task, but once done please help Agent Renroir monitor.

Agent Bautista, I want you on standby to receive Agents Smith and Novikova. Depending on how it goes out there, there may be injuries in which case I need you to bring them to Renroir for healing. Agent Reed I trust to figure out where help is needed. For those without assignments from me, find Agent Reed and see where she needs assistance. As a back-up team, Agent Flynn, be prepared in case things go South. Other than that, let's get our team back home where I can properly kick them in the arse for being so stupid."

She closed the comms and gestured for Agent Wu to follow her. They would head to get geared up.

Tempest nodded at Niah before Tinley sounded over the comms. "You heard the lady. Best get ready. I'll tackle your computer once we deal with our friends. If they are injured, just message me over comms and I'll run to them. Better to not move them too much if they are injured." With that, she turned back to the outside camera.

She observed the quiet until it seemed as if the Purifiers were agitated. And they quickly called for a search. It seemed they either knew about them or they knew Novikova and Smith were out. "Shoot, I think the jig is up. They know they are out there, I think. She turned on her comm with a direct message to Tinley. "Agent Abercrombie, I believe the Purifiers are aware that Novikova and Smith are outside. It may be harder to sneak around now." She was glad not to be in those shoes.

@Sanity43217: Agent Wu isn't the only newcomer to base it seems. Your character has arrived at the Playground a little later, heading inside just in time for the alarms to blare. He is due to report to Agent Cassandra Reed, as she'll be serving as his Supervising Officer until he has grown accustomed to the team. Agent Clint Barton is in charge of the team, with the second in command being Agent Tinley Abercrombie. Your character will emerge in the hallway outside of Technology and spot Agent Abercrombie heading out of the meeting room down the hall.

"...I'd rather you didn't. Most metal manipulators end up going insane and I don't want that to happen to you," Novikova said. She could feel the vibrations of the Earth and she reached out, putting a gloved hand over Maria's lips and she kissed her hand, effectively giving Maria a kiss. Maybe one day they'd be able to have a normal kiss again. There were some effective inhibitors out there but she didn't want to have to change Maria in order to be with her. That just didn't feel right to her. Novikova then ensured that her shades were on tightly, not wanting another incident like what had happened with Luminous - thankfully, that bitch was rotting in the Raft - and she turned to the Purifiers once more.

She tried to reach out and crumple the automatic rifles, but instead she just managed to tug them from their hands and they landed on the ground. The Purifiers hadn't had their safeties on and the guns fired on impact, a handful of the bullets heading towards Maria and Novikova. Novikova shoved Maria out of the way instinctively, narrowly managing to stop the metal bits before they hit the two of them.

"It's a metal manipulator!" one of the Purifiers shouted, staring directly at the two of them.

"...Our suits malfunctioned...Typical..." Novikova muttered under her breath. They no longer had the camouflage they were relying on. This entire excursion was turning into a huge mistake. "I can try to fix them on the fly, but I doubt that'll help," she said, as the Purifiers simply picked up their guns from the ground, ready to return fire.

The proximity alarm was going off, which usually meant that either a pack of teenagers had gotten too close to the secret entrance or there was trouble up above. Bonnie was too rattled to even remember the names of the most likely groups in the area and she sniffled, trying her best not to cry. It had been a long time since she buried James. She knew that she had feelings for Agent Flynn - strong feelings. He made her laugh. And he was certainly muscular... Bonnie bit her lip. She didn't know what to say or do.

"The um, the alarm..." Bonnie started to say, but then it was shut off. Although she did have experience when it came to fighting in the field, she generally wasn't sent out on combat missions. She specialized in anatomy and biochemistry, making her ideal to serve as a support agent. She'd patch up any injuries and then be sent to figure out any odd developments powers wise. She took another deep breath, but her eyes were still watering.

"I um - I really like you, Agent Flynn," Bonnie said. "You should probably go get ready or Abercrombie will kill you..." She was good friends with Tinley - not as close as she was with Cass but she really enjoyed working with Tinley and just being friends with her. Her eyes then went to look at Flynn's for a moment and Bonnie knew that she had a choice. She could live in the past and mourn for James forever. Or she could take a leap of faith. She had to be strong - she knew that she was strong, but Tempest's comment about marriage had shaken her.

Bonnie then took the leap and she kissed Flynn's cheek. "Now go - really, Tinley is scary when she's angry." Bonnie sniffled slightly but she was smiling a bit. She figured that she would essentially be told by Cass to be ready in medical, though Tempest did make her job a bit redundant at times.

"You can play healer later, okay Sparky? Right now we have bigger problems..." Raynor pointed out. He had no idea how to deal with the literal army of giant quantum beasts they were facing down. It was bad enough that they looked like spiders too, given Sparky's phobia of them. They didn't have much more time before they would be completely overwhelmed.

"Hold on, I have an idea!" the Wasp suddenly exclaimed. "Theresa, I'm going to need some electricity. We're going to lead the spiders into a time vortex. It'll suck them in and get them away from us." The Wasp put on what looked like binoculars, scanning the area around them. She then spotted the tell tale purple energy what seemed like a mile away.

"There!" the Wasp pointed. "If you can get the spiders to follow your electricity, we can make it out of here alive."

"Or get sucked into the time vortex ourselves..." Raynor pointed out, not all too happy with this idea. He didn't want Sparky to put herself at risk on a long shot, but they also didn't have much of a choice. The spider army was getting closer and closer, and his powers were weak. He only had about one good blast of light left in him.

He was going to regret this - he knew it. "You need more time," he said, before cupping Sparky's face and he gave her a kiss. "I love you," he said, before turning and he let out a blood curdling scream, unleashing as much light as he possibly could to create a barrier between them and the spiders. Raynor's eyes turned white and the blinding barrier was holding up for the moment, vaporizing a few hundred spiders who came into contact with it but there were still more.

"Theresa, now!" the Wasp instructed, as Raynor collapsed to the ground and the light faded.

Cassandra listened to Tinley's orders, as they were all given their marching orders for the Purifiers, she started to formulate how to help out. She remembered setting up security measures both inside and outside of the Playground with Harry and Renior as well, as she started to monitor the screens a bit more. She watched as their guns were snatched out of them, by Novikova she knew that they would still be a rather big problem. Cass then decided to bring up their security measures outside to help out their two agents that were outside right now. She also remembered she had a new agent coming in as well for her to supervise remembering her first time mentoring Guin Stark, smiling slightly remembering her friend.

Cassandra then started to try and activate the security outside, only for her to get an error message which made her groan a little bit as she started to try again. And nothing and decided to go through some of the coding that she had set up as well, and couldn't find the issue at all either. She took a moment and looked over towards Harry, seeing that he looked to be down with his task given by Agent Abercrombie. "Might need your help here if you can." Cassandra said towards him.

It didn't take long for him to get the results on the prints from the empty file as he took a moment to look at all of the names that were listed on them, H. McCormick, D. Novikova, G. the Cat, C. Barton, R. Banner, T. Stark ,H. Pym ,H. Stark ,P. Carter. He of course crossed off his name, as well as the damn cat's as well rather quickly. Since he touched it recently to find it as well as the cat because the damn cat rolls on just about anything it can find, he also crossed off Barton's as well. Since it was in his office, he would have seen it. Though he recognized Novikova's name rather quickly and circled it wondering why the file was important to her in the first place.

Harry of course saw both Tony and Howard's names on there which made Harry roll his eyes slightly he really didn't like them at all as Harry tried to figure out what was in the file. Harry then got his attention changed as Cass asked for a little bit of help, he had already finished his task for Tinley anyway as well. "Yep, sure thing." Harry said, as he got up and moved over towards the monitors and then the screen seeing the error. It took him a little bit, before just going for a complete shutdown of the security system briefly and brought it back up. He then went to activate the outer security system without any other issues and gave her a slight smile. "All yours." He said, before opening the radio to Tinley. "So, we got the outer security systems online boss, it should get their attention." Harry said to her.

Maria gave Novikova a slight smile and nodded towards her girlfriend, she would of course do anything to make sure that she was safe and okay. "Alright if you say so.." She said, Maria was glad that Novikova showed concern for her and smiled a bit at the little kiss that she had made for her as she made sure that they were ready for the Purifiers right now, as Novikova managed to rip the guns out of their hands. But then the guns started to go off, and stumbled to the ground when Novikova shoved her to the ground to protect her. Luckily non of the bullets hit them, but she quickly got up to her feet looking over towards Novi for a moment getting a dumb idea now running wouldn't help they would have to fight now.

"Cover me Novi." Maria said, as she quickly ran forward remembering a lot of her training she used the wall and used it as a jumping point, to get out of any fire that they had. Until she was face to face with the closest Purifier as she quickly punched him in the gut, and then ripped the rifle out of his hand. Maria then grabbed the man and brought him to a headlock, and used him as a human shield in case they decided to open fire again.

"Playing healer later is not a good thing you know! That would mean you'd be getting hurt!" she said, shaking her head at him. That was not a situation that she wanted to be in at all, one where she'd have to be a healer or something. Not to mention she didn't know how well she'd do at that sort of thing on the fly. Sparky was also really really hoping that it didn't come to that at all. Hearing what Janet was saying, she nodded her head in response, but hearing Raynor's comments she knew that it was likely not going to work at all.

That was fine with her, she was definitely willing to see about trying it out, even if it was a risk to herself. However, Raynor's reaction to things, and hearing his words it made her really worry about just what it was that he was going to do. "Ray?" she asked him softly, before he did the crazy blast of light. She was concerned about what was going to happen, that she almost didn't hear Janet telling her to shoot the electricity off. Sparky nodded her head, before she felt the crackle of energy along her skin and she shot it off in that direction, doing exactly what Janet had told her to do. The instant she did that though, she went to Raynor and pulled him into her arms, "Ray? Ray can you hear me?"

"Oh, I didn't even really notice the alarm, I was kind of more concerned if you were okay..." Flynn admitted, giving her a bit of a smile. That was very true, he was concerned about her and he figured that everyone else could wait for a few minutes longer. Sure, they likely would have to deal with everything eventually, but not like the situation was going anywhere. He just wanted to make sure that she was okay at the moment, not caring how long that might take.

He rolled his eyes slightly at her comment about Tinley probably getting pissed off if he didn't hurry, and honestly he couldn't care less about her opinion. Though it was clear that Bonnie somewhat did anyway, so he let out a small sigh and gave her another smile, "Alright, I'll get going then... You can come too Bonnie if you want to, if you don't see you in a little while," he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek and heading out of the room.

Thank god that those pesky hoomans learned how to listen and turned the damn alarms off! How could no one understand how sensitive a cats ears were? Or is it just that hoomans know absolutely nothing and are deaf to noises unless it is loud enough to shatter someone's eardrums? That is the question here! They really need to figure out how the world works, since they clearly know absolutely nothing about anything! Goose was basically just racing around trying to get the hoomans to pay attention to him. Namely he was still following Tinley around and rubbing up against her legs.

Though he was starting to think that these hoomans were deaf and dumb, since there was a simple solution to their problems, and that was to just go deal with whoever it was and take them all down! Any hoomans who were being stupid and attacking people randomly were horrible people and needed to be dealt with accordingly! Though now when he thought about it, one thing was obvious and needed to be mad top priority! That being that he was hungry and the hoomans needed to give him food!"MEOW!" he yelled at, pawing at Tinley's legs to try and get her to feed him food.

What a day. Get redeployed at The Playground to be part of some team, and not even two minutes after walking in the door, alarms are going off. The trip to the Playground wasn't much better than coming into a building just before alarms going off. It wasn't that SHIELD hadn't provided adiquite transport, just that, its only so much fun being couped up in SHIELD cargo plane for eighteen hours. He was looking forward to being on the ground, and seeing new faces, but alarms going off wasn't Dixon's idea of a great reception.

Dixon only had a vague idea of what was going on. He picked a bad day to skim the briefing. He vaguely recalled having to meet Agent Reed or Abercrombie. What made it harder was he didn't know what either actually looked like. Coming out into a hallway, he saw a woman who looked important. Dixon figured she would know where he could find Abercrombie of Reed. "Hey." He called out to her, lifting his arm in a wave to try and get her attention over the Alarm. The alarm shut off, so he could at least speak normally. "Afternoon." He began as a greeting now that the alarm was off. "Sorry to bother you, but I'm Agent Dixon. Just transferred here today. I'm supposed to check in with Agent Abercrombie or Reed." He said, introducing himself. "Do you happen to know where I can find either of them or tell me what's going on?"

The alarm was turned off. Niah's ears continued to ring for a moment longer, thankfully it stopped by the time Tinley gave her her orders. "Thanks Tempest. I'll let you know if I need you to come to us." She hoped the two above ground wouldn't get hurt, but it was unlikely. There was only two of them. Though with Tinley heading up they had a bit more hope. She wondered what they were thinking to even go up there without permission.

Niah took up a spot near the entrance that the pair of them if injured, would be most likely brought through. She checked her ICER real quick, just in case. Though she greatly hoped that she wouldn't need it. Things were weird right now. Between the postcard and the purifiers, Niah had a feeling things were about to get chaotic again, which while better than the uncomfortable silence of the last few weeks meant people would probably die.

Tinley moved around Goose, tired of the cat's antics at this moment. And as if the gods themselves decided to spit on her, she ran into a new face who seemed either presently unaware of their current predicament or was ignoring it. Not good signs. "Well Agent Dixon. You found Abercrombie, but we have a situation at present with Purifiers hounding two of our own. Me and Agent Wu here are about to go out to retrieve them so if you follow me, we'll head to technology to get geared up and you can talk to Agent Reed as to what she wants you to do." She fought hard to maintain her composure, but it was difficult.

She moved down the corridors quickly, hoping the two new agents kept pace. Eventually making her way to Technology where she saw Agents Reed and McCormick. "Oh perfect. Agent Reed, this is Agent Dixon. New recruit. Please tell him what you would like to do while we get geared up." Tinley motioned for Conrad to follow her. There, she gathered a stealth suit as well as an ICER and handed them to him. "This is a stealth suit. And an ICER. May have to use it but the primary goal is to get the two agents out and back. Now, gear up." She grabbed her own stuff and got suited.

Tempest had her eyes on the camera as Niah left. She had seen everything going on. Novikova and Maria were now fighting them and Tempest would not sit back and wait. Surely the security system was up? She checked and found it was working. Though it was not at full capacity, she browsed the selection of security measures and found one she liked. A high-pitched shriek that will knock out any who hear it. Hopefully, it wouldn't damage the agents too much.

She entered the key commands and summoned the sound. She did too good of a job though as the Purifiers heard it just fine. Enough to fall to hte ground, clutching their ears, dead. Novikova and Maria would hear the sound too. Thankfully, their stealth suits would prevent them from damage. Instead, the two would just be knocked out.

Tempest cringed a bit. She hadn't meant to kill them, but maybe the end justified the means? She opened the comms again to alert Tinley and Cassandra. "So I used a high-pitch siren to knock the Purifiers out. Good news, the bad men are dead. Bad news, Novikova and Smith are knocked out too."

Raynor isn't waking up. He's unconscious, having used the rest of his energy to help create that momentary diversion. Luckily, Sparky's work with the Wasp has paid off, as the quantum spider army ran in the direction of the lightning, before falling into a time vortex and vanishing. Let's just hope they don't turn up anywhere our team is in the future, shall we? That would be so unlucky... Mwahahaha...

"How is he?" Janet asked sympathetically, looking at the young S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Her chest was rising and falling rapidly at first, but then went back into a normal motion as the Wasp saw that they were safe. After that huge an encounter, she didn't anticipate that they would have any more problems for a while. These monsters tended to either travel alone or in large packs - and given that they just fought off an army, she doubted they'd see more for at least a few hours. "Get some rest," Janet told her. "I'll take first watch."

Even though the stealth suit wasn't functioning, it at least prevented Novikova from skinning her knees or anything like that as Maria shoved her to the ground in order to get her cover. Had Novikova been from Operations, she might have argued about it - but this really was Maria's area of expertise. If this had somehow been a matter of nuclear physics, then Novikova would have been the one in charge. Getting up from the ground, Novikova raised her hands up, her muscles straining as she made a wall of Earth, preventing the Purifiers from getting a clear shot at Maria.

"Covered!" she called out to her girlfriend. She wished that the security systems would have come online. Thankfully most of the civilians had the good sense to vacate the area, but others were standing on the sidewalk, pointing their phones at the shaking and changing ground. So much for keeping a low profile. Taking another breath, Novikova focused on the abandoned guns and she felt the metal in them, as if it was an extension of herself. The adrenaline was helping to keep her powers focused.

"Fucking muties..." one of them cursed, spitting on the ground. Tempest then activated the security system, sending out an awful screech. The Purifiers dropped to the ground, dead from the high frequency of the sound, blood having come out of their eyes and ears. Novikova and Maria dropped to the ground as well, falling unconscious. Her last thought?

"I have a feeling I might be needed in here," Bonnie admitted to Flynn. She grabbed a radio nearby and went on the general frequency. "Agent Chase here, on standby in bioengineering for any injured. Agent Flynn is on route," she then added, her Canadian accent coming out in full force on the last word. She set down the radio within arms reach, just in case there was a reply message. They had a few beds on the far side of bioengineering and research, prepped and ready to go for any medical procedure. There was even a quarantine vault of sorts, designed to prevent any serious pathogens from being released into the environment of the Playground.

However, she had to shake her head slightly at Flynn. It was a pretty impressive feat to be able to ignore that alarm. Hopefully no one else heard him say that, since otherwise one of the higher-ups at the Triskelion might say that they alarms would just have to be even louder then. But at the same time, it really sweet and she couldn't help but smile a bit at him. Not very man guys, in her experience, would have bothered to make sure that she was feeling alright. They also would have likely been turned off by the fact that she was a widow - as if that somehow made her "tainted goods" or something else ridiculous.

Bonnie went over and made sure that the beds in medical were ready. They had plenty of blood on hand for transfusions, as well as a drug that allowed for temporarily accelerated healing - S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists had developed it a few months back and it was already proving very useful in the fight against HYDRA. Of course, she knew that if there were any injuries, they'd like just ask Tempest to heal them up, making Bonnie with all of her training... unneeded.

She would have sighed, had Tempest's next message now came over the comms. Dead people? Those also fell under her area of expertise. "Bring them into biotechnology?" Bonnie requested over the comms.

Cassandra was monitoring the cameras as well, as she turned her attention over towards Tinley seeing her coming in with someone new she stood up and gave Agent Dixon a smile and a quick handshake. "It's nice to meet you." Cass said towards him, as her attention turned towards the cameras seeing the group of Purifiers suddenly collapsing onto the ground. And then a few seconds later Tempest spoke up into the radio announcing what she had just done. Which was both a good and bad thing as well, letting out a slight sigh as she rubbed her eyes two of their own agents were knocked out because of it. "Thank you Tempest." Cass said to her over the radio as Tinley started to get herself geared up.

"So, the Purifiers are down, but there could still be more out there as well or on their way possibly. Should I get the interrogation room ready once they are given the okay, and might want to prepare some inhibitors as well just to be on the safe side." Harry said and quickly turned around and handed over the results of the scans he had just taken off of the folder. "Also took these scans as well on who had recently touched them." Harry also said to Tinley as he looked over towards Agent Dixon and nodded towards him slightly as well as Agent Wu again.

Cassandra took a moment and reached over to take a look at the results as well, as she scanned the names on them, before looking back at Tinley, having a file going missing and one of their own agents who is also on those sets of results was really troubling as well. Which had brought back some memories during the HYDRA Uprising. "Novikova is on the results of those scans Harry took." Cassandra said towards Tinley for any further orders on how to proceed once they got Agents Smith and Novikova back.

Maria looked over her shoulder as Novikova got back up and created a stone barrier for her, and smiled towards her girlfriend she was glad that she could do that. As she ducked behind the cover Maria was about to get ready to take out the next Purifier as soon as she was about to get up she felt her ears starting to bring as if something was banging a trashcan over her head. As the noise made her head want to explode.

She watched as the Purifers all fell dead onto the ground as a result to the sound, and then she turned to look at Novikova seeing her girlfriend drop down as well. Maria suddenly collapsed down onto the ground as well, everything suddenly went black for her as she crumpled down on the ground, she knew that it was the defenses from the Playground. They made it so close to getting out of there to bring back their two agents out from the Quantum Realm. She just hoped that Novikova was alright as well, and she didn't end up dying because of the sound.

Sparky was panicking, she wasn't sure what else to do, since Raynor wasn't waking up or anything. They lucked out a bit too, with the spider things following that bit of electricity that she had shot off. None of this was preventing her from calming down though. Yes, her worst nightmare was the mob of spiders that had been there, but now she was panicking over Raynor not waking up, that was scaring her. The things he had said before, it almost sounded like to her that he wasn't planning on waking up at all.

"...I'm just scared that he won't end up waking up again..." she said softly, looking at Janet. That was currently the only thought running through her mind, and the thought wouldn't go away no matter what she did. It was not a happy thought, and she didn't know if she'd be able to get any sort of sleep with that running through her head. "...I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep at all..."

Alright, Flynn was more than slightly annoyed with the concept at being basically on stand by to do absolutely nothing. Why was he asked to stay back and wait for them to do whatever when he had the most experience with people who were like the Purifiers? From what he knew the Purifiers basically had taken in a lot of ex-OMEN agents to add to their membership. So why did she ask him to stay back or whatever? What sort of idiot does that? It didn't matter, once he heard over the comms that everyone outside was knocked out or dead, he didn't see any reason to actually listen to what Tinley had told him to do and went out of the Playground.

It wasn't too hard to locate Novikova and Smith, they weren't exactly too far away from the entrance. He glanced out at the group of people who were basically all just about dead. Though he didn't have much sympathy for them, and it also was not the first time he'd witnessed this sort of thing happening. Flynn picked up both Novikova and Smith rather easily, before he headed back inside of the Playground. He grabbed his radio and spoke on the general frequency to everyone, "Since you all were deciding to take your sweet time doing anything, I decided to go grab Novikova and Smith and bring them inside again, bringing them down to biotech," was all he said as he headed that way carrying the two.

Now Goose was getting more than slightly annoyed by Tinley. Why on Earth was she ignoring him? That was incredibly rude! Not to mention he was feeling incredibly hungry! "MEOW!!!!!!" he yowled at Tinley, racing around her legs, trying to get her to pay attention to him. Some hoomans never learned, they never learned that they were privileged to be in the presence of a cat! But no, they take it for granted and only think of trying to pet them or something when they find it convenient!

He was practically starving to death here and they didn't care! Now he was getting a bit tired and decided to screw the hooman who was being mean to him, and he flopped over right in front of her so she'd likely have to step over him. "MEOW!!!!!!!" he yowled at her again, doing the best that he could to look really pathetic. She had to get him food or he was going to die of starvation in the next half an hour! This hooman need to learn how things worked!

Tempest's announcement that the purifiers were dead was reassuring, though she knew there was going to be a lot of fall out from this. Someone was going to get into trouble and she hoped Tempest wouldn't bear too much of the brunt of that. They needed good agents and she was top notch. Niah wondered why Maria and Novikova had even left the playground. There were no active missions. She frowned the pair of them were going to get into trouble, and they hadn't gained anything from it. As far as Niah could tell nothing good had come from their actions, well she conceded a bit mentally there were a few fewer purifiers in the world.

Niah watched as Flynn left the playground and then just moments later came back with the two agents. They were both unconscious "Need help?" It felt like a hollow question, of course, he didn't need help Agent Flynn was perfectly capable of carrying both unconscious women. She followed along with him to Biotech giving whatever help he would allow her.

Tinley had quickly gotten ready when she heard Flynn over the comms. She fought hard not to unleash the torrent of curses she had in her head. "Is today 'Piss Tinley Off' day? Because I did not get the memo and had I known I would have gotten a fucking cake for everyone." Not to mention the fricken cat was rolling around her feet. "Can someone for the love of all that is good come take this cat? I think it's hungry but I don't know where Fury keeps its food."

For now, Tinley had other things on her mind. Novi's prints on the file were telling. That, and the fact she had appeared off once she got her metal bending powers and the fact she just tried to leave and it made sense. Novi was not handling Sparks in the Quantum Realm well. The next bit would be what Novikova planned to do. Tinley recalled her time at the academy hearing about Hank Pym and Howard Stark's fight over the Pym Particle. Given that Ultron was one of his projects, Tinley figured there stood a good chance Novikova was working with him.

Tinley did not have time to share this information as the side-effect of her power kicked in and she was able to hear the thoughts of two agents. The thoughts were telling, again. HYDRA among their ranks still. Agents Wu and Dixon. At least they hadn't been privy to anything major. Tinley charged at them, batons in hand, striking at Dixon first, but the agent backed up and turned his flames on. Wu was next with another uppercut, but he blocked her. Tinley flipped backward, batons outstretched. "They're HYDRA! Don't let them leave!"

Tempest kept an eye on the cameras, just in case, but it seems Flynn had jumped out to retrieve Novikova and Maria. Thankful they were all right at least, though she did not want to be at the end of that conversation with Tinley. Hell, she was already expecting to be chewed out for killing the Purifiers. In her head, though, they deserved it.

"I'll monitor the grounds in case anyone else shows up, but it looks like it's quiet out there. May want to handle the bodies though. Wouldn't want people poking around and seeing a grave site." She said over the comms. She took Niah's laptop and put it in front of her. Since she had some free time now that the threat was gone, she'd see about helping.

Inside the mainframe, she struggled a bit. At first, it seemed like she wouldn't be able to, but she managed to unlock some hidden files and opened the camera feed. Thankfully Niah had left her laptop open. However, what Tempest had not expected was the figure to come on screen, carrying the postcard.

It was fucking Goose.

Up in the square, no one had noticed Flynn go and retrieve the two agents. However, Washington D.C. police had shown up and were roping off the area, interviewing civilians and asking them what had happened. None of the eye witness testimonies made any sense. One of them insisted that they had seen Katniss Everdeen fight the Purifiers - another claimed that it had been Black Widow - and yet another swore up and down that Prophesy of the X-Men had broken up the fight. Handling the police in the area was a job that would fall to Barton - but unfortunately, he still hasn't returned back to base yet.

Agent Abercrombie's phone will get a message from him, however: ...Care explaining why you all just killed a bunch of Purifiers? Even though Barton wasn't there, S.H.I.E.L.D. had eyes and informants everywhere. It wasn't that shocking that he knew about this about fifteen minutes after the fact. In fact, it would have been disappointing if he hadn't. (And in case anyone does decide to feed Goose at any point, his food is kept in a cat proof shelf in the kitchen). Both Niah and Flynn will have reached the end of the hallway, about to enter biotechnology when Wu and Dixon were outed as HYDRA by Abercrombie.

"That way's the hangar, right?" Dixon asked cheekily. The door was plainly labeled and the fiery HYDRA agent melted off the handle and kicked it down, while Wu focused on Tinley and keeping her busy. He didn't have any powers, but Agent Wu's specialty was martial arts and his goal was to take her batons from her and use them for himself. "And they say blondes aren't smart," Wu quipped slightly. He attempted to kick Tinley in the head, only to miss by a mile and spin, nearly losing his balance at the very last second.

"...I'll come and get Goose," Bonnie said on the radio, hearing Tinley's cries of frustration from down the hallway. She could understand that having a cat underfoot wasn't ideal, especially in stressful situations. She knew that if Novikova hadn't been unconscious, the metal bending agent would have been fawning all over the cat, and then shooting death glares at Flynn for his dislike of the furry creatures. She grabbed her icer, hearing the commotion as well and Bonnie went out into the hallway. She was just in time to see Dixon run in towards the hangar and her eyes widened. She didn't need her PhD in Biochemistry to tell her that that was a horrible idea.

"Guys, there's fuel in there!" Bonnie exclaimed, going down the hallway at a run. Sure, she had left to go grab Goose but now they had a lot of things to freak out over. One of the Operations agents - Maria Smith - was out cold. Novikova, gifted with some pretty destructive powers, was also out cold. Scooping up Goose into her arms, she had her icer at the ready with her free hand. She knew that it was better to shoot with both hands on the gun, but Goose was getting in the way and she didn't want to know what Fury would do if his cat got hurt. "Please don't jump out of my arms or scratch me or anything, Goose..." she mumbled.

She wasn't able to get a clear shot on Wu, given that he was fighting with Abercrombie, and she knew that it was a horrible idea if she got directly involved in the fighting. Niah knew some medicine and Tempest was able to heal, but her job was essentially to be the doctor for the team. It was never a great idea to send the doctor into a fight - as who would help if the doctor was down for the count?

At any rate, they'd need to have someone go and stop Dixon, before the Playground exploded...

Flynn nodded slightly at Niah, giving her a bit of a smile. "I think I can handle them, they aren't too heavy... But thanks for the offer anyway," he said as he went into the Bio-Tech area and set Maria and Novikova down. He heard Tinley getting mad but rolled his eyes slightly at it, her own dang fault for wanting to literally do nothing which was literally the worst thing ever. Though odds were things would have ended badly for them anyway all things considering no matter what he had done or something. That's when he heard the second part of what she was saying, the part about Dixon and Wu being HYDRA. That changed the game somewhat.

After setting Novikova and Maria down, he bolted out of the Bio Tech area and caught a glimpse of what was going on and Dixon going into the hangar. He didn't care really what Tinley was saying very much, but Bonnie's words about there being fuel in there was not a promising start. Flynn went into the room and saw Dixon heading for the fuel tanks, and saw that he was essentially on fire. Well two could play at that game, and he tried to catch on fire too, but that didn't seem to be happening anytime soon. "Of course I can't catch on fire when I want to," he muttered, before he just thought screw it and tackled Dixon to the ground.

Goose started purring at Bonnie when she picked him up. This here was a nice hooman who was a kind one to him unlike that mean evil one that was yelling at him or trying to shove him out of the way! In his opinion Tinley deserved it if she got her ass kicked because she wouldn't feed him! "Meow?" he said, looking up at Bonnie and trying to look pathetic, hoping that maybe this was a good hooman who would feed him and give him attention. Since to him the other one was not a good person!

Then he noticed the commotion going on around him, and he glanced over at Tinley and Agent Wu. He tilted his head to the side, almost like he was thinking about something. "Meow!" he sort of hissed out at Wu, and unfortunately because of where Tinley was he didn't have the best shot, but he still had a pretty good aim. Goose was glaring at Wu before he opened his mouth and tentacles shot out of his mouth and wrapped around Agent Wu, he then proceeded to start flinging him around the room, banging into the walls of the hallway. After a moment he let him go, having him drop to the ground and the tentacles went back into his mouth and disappeared. Now he was looking perfectly normal. "Meow?" he said to Bonnie, still a bit on the hungry side.

Cassandra looked towards Tinley for a moment when she heard Flynn over the radio that he was getting both Agents Smith and Novikova out of the scene with the Purifiers. Which was either a good thing or bad thing, waiting may have been bad but also going against her orders was also pretty bad. But they had their agents]back which was a good thing for her, and what was more troubling that the newer agents Wu and Dixon were both HYDRA. HYDRA seemed to be really obsessed with trying to get into the team again, as Agent Wu went to attack Tinley, Dixon had the idea of going to the hangar and blowing up the fuel supply which was even worse.

And of course Goose was being a bit of a pain right now as well, meowing for attention for food, but what she wasn't expecting was the cat to sprout out tentacles and fling agent Wu around. Before being dropped down on the ground looking over towards her friend Bonnie for a moment, she didn't know much about Fury's cat but he was certainly not a normal cat at all. "I'll go after Dixon." Cassandra said as she got up and quickly made her way over towards the hangar and it seemed that Flynn had things covered now. "I swear you are just about everywhere today." She said, before finding two sets of handcuffs and quickly went over towards Dixon and cuffed him.

"Take him to the holding cells, i'll grab Agent Wu." Cassandra said, as she got up with the other set of handcuffs and made her way back to the scene looking over towards Bonnie. "Mind getting some inhibitors for Dixon and meet me at the holding cells?" Cassandra asked her friend as she cuffed Wu and hauled him up. "Flynn and I are going to take them to the holding cells." She said as started to make her way down towards the commons area and then down the stairs where the holding cells were.

Harry watched as Agent Wu was ratted out by Tinley for being a HYDRA agent, they seemed to be constantly popping up everywhere really now and Tinley's power was also really uncomfortable having someone in his head was pretty bad. Harry thought about activating his little hand canon he had made. Bonnie came into the room, and went to pick up the cat when he suddenly sprouted tentacles from his mouth and flung Agent Wu around for a bit before dropping him on the ground. "I'll uh, go and grab some food for the demon cat.." Harry said, as he got up and it seemed that they had everything under control now.

Harry started to make his way towards the kitchen finding the cat proof shelf and looked at it for a moment, and then just grabbed an random bowl as well as the bag of the cat's food and poured it in. Harry started to make his way back towards the group and set the bowl of cat food down before Goose as he watched Cassandra taking Agent Wu over towards the holding cells. "I hope that's the last of the snake heads." Harry said as he looked over at the others now. "So, what are we gonna do about Novikova and Smith?" Harry finally asked.

Maria slowly started to open her eyes again, letting out a groan as she could feel her ears starting to ring a bit more than she liked and started to look around the room. They were in Bio-Engineering & Research, which wasn't really good they were caught now and she wasn't sure if she would even be able to help Novikova get Sparky and Raynor back at all. She slowly started to get up and cracked her neck a little bit. As she started to get her baring's down and spotted Novikova who looked like she was unconscious still and made her way over towards her.

Maria gently gave her girlfriend a nudge she just hoped that she didn't die from the loud sound that was made by the base's defenses, as she tried to get her to wake up. "Hey love, wake up." Maria said as she nudged her again, as she thought about what the others would do to them and whether or not they would be punished, but she had a feeling that Tinley would end up punishing them right away as well.
