Despite the creepy atmosphere, it wasn't until the music started playing that Priya could feel herself grow tenser. "Oh you have got to be kidding me. Music doesn't start randomly playing. If that isn't a way to lead the group of unsuspecting teens into the basement to be killed off, I don't know what it is." She hated this, but she had a job to do.

She missed New York dammit. At least there the freaks were very open about their craziness.

She let Riley take the lead, but she would be damned if whoever was in the house got them. "Lead on then, but keep an eye out. We are not alone." She did not believe in ghosts. No, humans were much more terrifying than specters. Whoever was doing this was messed up.

"That so? I moved out to Justice to get closer to various gigs and opportunities. And it also felt like I'd fit in better. Well not fit in, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to see a freak like me in southern California. That seems to be one of the country's two nexus points for weirdos. That and Florida." In her head, Mali couldn't help but gripe about how much it sucked that she couldn't spend enough time in the city to even think about utilizing the reasons for moving house before everything went to hell. A broken hand was one of the worst injuries a bodybuilder could get, effectively smashing any hopes she had for any competitions for the rest of the year, and she couldn't even really get a head start for the off-season even factoring out the Juno business.

But then Zoie had to go and bring up a zombie apocalypse, snapping Mali out of her internal frustration. Nah, that ain't her. Go check and see if someone else would be down with that shit, because the validation for that fantasy did not exist in that truck.

"Funny thing about people who always have some post-apocalyptic fantasy." Mali began, going through a train of thought as it occurred to her. "They never think they're going to die. Every single time, you've got like what, 90% of the population dying? In big cities it's probably closer to like 99.99%. Even if your a colossal badass, you could just get hit at a bad time. Like if you're asleep, or holed up on the loo. The chances of you making it out of the initial fuckening are minuscule, let alone surviving any appreciable amount of time after the fact. Worst still, even if you do, that doesn't actually change the fact that you don't know who really has your back. Those other survivors you run into might want to team up and survive, or they might shank you and leave you bleeding as they take what little shit you have." Realizing she'd just been babbling at length, Mali looked away briefly and cleared her throat. A lot of the spiel was genuine critique of the romanticization of the post apocalypse, but really she was distracting herself from thing about zombies with their dead, deflated eyes and decaying flesh. The last time she got dragged to a zombie flick she had nightmares for a week. If possible, she'd prefer to leave them out of her life entirely.

Cecily couldn't help but giggle, looking at Roy's Wolverine impression. For what he had on him, it wasn't half bad. She could just see him pining after Jean Grey - though he needed to add on a pair of shades just like Hugh Jackman's. That would really bring the entire ensemble together. "Given your line of work... I think adamantium claws and regenerative healing would come in handy," she pointed out. "But then again, a mutant cop? That just sounds like you're asking for a redneck to try to beat you up," she then added with a bit of a grin. It was so much easier to talk and think about X-Men than anything else that was going on. Maybe she should have gone to work for Marvel Studios, be something there instead of a forensic tech. It certainly would have been safer.

"So... Good news is, American Horror Story can film their next season here and save on effects?" Cecily joked, looking at the haze over the city. It was incredibly unsettling. She couldn't imagine Riley growing up in a place like this. She knew that her childhood hadn't been the best - but this didn't seem like the hometown of a rockstar. It looked more like the location of John Wayne Gacy's vacation home. She then nodded a bit, curious as to what would make such a stark change like this. She wasn't a weather scientist, but Cecily knew that something had to have caused this. Her phone buzzed and she saw the reply from Keystone.

"Keystone said Roberts Security is huge in Europe and based in England. They started supplying security at Justice Memorial after Wentworth's contract ended - concurrently with Caesar's company starting to work at Queensguard... So that's not fishy at all."

Road To Grimm: Zoie looked over towards Mali and chuckled a bit. "Guess that is the magic three. Wonder if the Illuminati is at fault, or fucking Juno in this case," she said as she found an exit just south of Gary, Indiana and headed off the HWY. "Looks like we have a McDonald's, Burger King, White Castle, and Panera. Surprised there's no Starbucks," she contemplated as they pulled up to a light and waited at the red. "Which for you? Thinking Panera is out best bet for something that won't make us hate ourselves afterwards," she added.

Listening to Mali go on about a zombie apocalypse she nodded a bit. "Yeah, probably. Be nice to think that during something like that, there would be a place where people could go and work together. Not so much to rebuild society. I figure if there are zombies we're all eventually fucked, but at least places where people can live a little but fuck, people are assholes so god only fucking knows. Probably backwoods fuckers like friends of mine growing up would survive since their already used to living without shit like electricity and don't mind being alone."

Chicago, Illinois: Atticus's eyebrows rose sharply. "Seems you are deeper into this than I thought," he said a bit surprised by the words that were coming out of Caesars mouth right then. Granted he hadn't said a lot of words but what he did say was rather eye opening. "And to answer your question, apparently it is what God wants of you. Atonement comes in many forms and well He has a fucking twisted sense of humor," Atticus added as he pointed up towards the heavens. Shrugging he pushed the dice closer to Caesar before leaning back in his desk. "That is a Roman Dodecahedron and on it are the Twelve Zodiacs. Twelve sides. Many say three is a Holy Number, that seven is lucky, that thirteen is unlucky, and well sixty-nine is the ultimate lucky payout for some," he laughed before waving it off.

"If I were to call the number Twelve anything, I would call it the Perfect Number. It is the twelve full moons in a solar year, the twelve of months in our calendar. Twelve years in one full cycle of Jupiter, brightest of the ancients wandering stars. Twelve Olympian Principle Gods of Greece, twelve labors of Hercules. And so many more in the ancient religions. And then in our own, twelve, this is Gods most sacred if you take the text seriously. Ishmael had twelve sons. Jacob had twelve sons who became the heads of the twelve tribes of Israel. The twelve Apostles of Jesus fucking Christ. Twelve Days of Christmas. Twelve Great Feasts. Oh yes, twelve, is the fucking number of God, no matter what name you call him by."

Sitting up he pulled out his bible from his desk drawer. It was old and worn, much older than he probably was. It was tabbed and post-noted on pages through out. "And then we come to the book of Revelations. Do you know what the Book of Revelations is about?" he asked the senior member of the Gonzalez family.

Claire looked over at Keystone and smirked a bit. "Then get the boss to put in clearance for ya. Remember I gotta get going. Dead friend and all," she said as she lead him back to the garage and pointed to the vehicle she had brought him over in. Pulling out another set of keys from her pocket she gave the man a once over. "Stay safe out there man, GPS is programed, just go reverse the previous entry to get directions back to the church. See ya man, I gotta run," she said before making her way over to a black jeep and climbing in.

Adelaide looked over at Robert and shook her head. "No, I never asked. I knew Marc worked for the FBI and was a former Seal. Lawson was a Marine, special forces. I knew if they had to send me something it was probably something I didn't want to know. Though I never suspected them of doing anything wrong. I'm usually very curious about things and want answers but something about all this just made me go it's best if I should just act as a delivery girl. Figured maybe they were just covering their asses," she said as she found the brown unsuspecting package and brought it over to a table, sitting it down and pulling the string on it. "I think Marc got transferred recently but Lawson moved there not long after the whole returning from the dead thing," she said as she pulled a chair over and had a seat.

Slowly and carefully pulling the string away from the box she set it aside and then started unwrapping the brown paper wrapping from the package. Pulling the lid off the box and looking inside Adelaide quirked a brow. "Oh, this can't be legal..." she muttered before looking over towards Robert. Sighing slightly she reached into the box and pulled out a folder and dropped it on the table. The folder had print on it. FBI - Classified. Then she pulled out another and another and another. Twelve in all. All with the same black stamp for the FBI on them, all marked Classified. Some old, some newer. Turning the box over she made sure it was empty before pushing it aside. "Why the hell would he send me classified FBI cases?" she asked as she looked over towards Roberts. It wasn't that she was really expecting an answer. More asking herself why the hell she had these.

Grimm, Indiana (Grimaldi Manor): The basement door was just outside of the kitchen. There was a weird smell in the air. Sweet and artificial. Like one would imagine a candy factory might smell like. The door to the basement was open but the light on the stairs was off. There would be a switch on the side of the wall by the door. When the lights get flicked on, it will light up only to the bottom of the stairs. There would be another light switch at the bottom for the actual basement. The stairs, unlike the rest of the house, look unkempt and creak with every step taken.

Downstairs, things look very much like they had back when Riley and Adelaide were in high school. There was a pool table down there, dart board on the wall. Refrigerator in the corner that was usually stocked with various sodas and food for the kids to munch on. Couches were about, chairs, curtains hanging over all the walls, a tv, and then of course, the sound system. Chris had helped install it for Adelaide's parents, he was really into electronics and such back then. The smell was even stronger down there and there was an empty bottle of Strawberry Quick by the turn table at the sound system, the plastic was still cold.

Grimm, Indiana (Police Station): Roy chuckled a bit at the Wolverine reference. "Yeah but if I got claws and can heal, then fuck them," he chuckled. Looking over the town he nodded. "God damn, yeah. American Horror Story: Grimm - already fits," he mused as he drove through the town and headed for the police station. "Oh no, not at all. Seems perfectly normal. Does he know anything else?" Pulling up into an empty parking space he looked around. He didn't see the sherriff's car. "Oh this is great..." he muttered under his breath as he turned the car off. Opening the door, a bunch of chex mix fell out of the car and onto the ground. "Heh, oh well, food for squirrels," he added as he stood up and started brushing himself off.

Looking around he shut the door and moved to the trunk. Popping it open and pulling out Cecily's bag for her before slamming it shut. "Well, let's go inside and see what we can find out. Maybe someone else took Tim's car or maybe there know where he is if not," he added as he unfastened the clip over his gun. Something wasn't sitting right with him about all of this. "I really don't like this town." Hanging over the bag to Cecily he looked towards the Police Station and the light above the glass doors flickered. "Yeah, I really don't like this place. It's like I walked into a bad horror flick." Glancing towards Cecily he forced a bit of a smile before he continued. "Stay behind me, just in case." Patting her on the shoulder he headed towards the door of the police station.

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Chicago (Church)
Skills: N/A

"Revelations..." stated Caesar with the slightest rasp of voice. He stared at the dodecahedron on the desk in front of him, oddly curious at the possible connection to the final writings of the Bible. The expression upon his face did not change much, past the half smile/half sneer that reflexively leapt to the forefront, if but for a moment, when Father Pearson mentioned the significance of the most enigmatic and provocative of numbers; the fabled Sixty-Nine. Truly the meaning was universal among any such culture that utilized Arabic numerals, as it was apparently shared between the two men speaking. Also, despite being in the autumn years of his life, Caesar was still occasionally led by his vices - that being the more polite way of putting it.

But getting back to business, Caesar grunted a quick affirmation and responded further. "Juicio de Dios. The Judgement of God. Mi hermano if a priest, Father. I know of The Bible. Not as much as Benicio, but I have the basic idea." He continued to look at the die in front of him. Did he want Caesar to take it? If it was a thing of importance, was it trust or lunacy for him to even show it to him? Stranger things have happened in his lifetime. Like the events of that Indiana Jones movie that had Sean Connery in it. He had forgotten the name of it right then, but it was not the most important topic floating about in his brain at the time. How he came to be wrapped up in this odd sort of mission, now with holy undertones (or at least history) itself was almost secondary to what he needed to do next. Caesar had come to Chicago as simply a leg of the journey onward to Grimm, there in hopes of learning more about this Tinder guy who had the extremely suicidal idea of killing his daughter.

Now, though? In addition to revenge, the repetitive call for him to undertake some crusade HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE NAME OF THE MOVIE! THE LAST CRUSADE! INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE! HA! for the Lunillud Aleae was painfully undeniable. But the question remained. "What does this trinket have to do with the End of Days?"

J. Keystone

Location:
Chicago (MSS Chicago)
Skills: N/A

What began as fairly idle conversation among peers was turning into a more hurried, rushed endeavor. It was fully understandable, seeing as she had family to attend to and a funeral to attend. Keystone accepted the keys from Claire. He shrugged, tilting his head to the side just a little as he understood that the same vehicle that got them from the airport was the one he would be driving back out of the MSS offices. He had given consideration toward something just a hair less conspicuous from the motor pool, given that they were going to be in a small town in rural Indiana. Further consideration on the subject had him realizing that it wouldn't matter what they were driving, the second any of the locals got a look at either himself or Caesar, or God forbid hear them talk. And what he knew about Indiana could fit in a thimble. And the standard was an SUV. Big vehicle, but fairly nondescript as these things go. Hell, the vehicle would be the least conspicuous thing about them.

Further, Keystone thought that Claire had offered to get him clearance... or was that just a conversation that they had about him needing to get clearance to access the Chicago office? It was a little ambiguous of a talk, back in the armory. Well, no matter. It was a phone call back to the Justice branch for Maria - pardon, Ms. Santiago to push it through the system, or head guy Gonzalez to make his own call. But that shouldn't really be an issue, as he was about to leave the building anyway to attend to more pressing business. So the large man set his mind to the ask at hand, that being getting back to Caesar and leaving Chicago in their rearview mirror.

Before he did, Keystone looked to Claire, who had just entered her own jeep. He debated the idea of telling her that her friend Natasha was killed while in transit on her way back from Alicia's funeral. Maybe it was suspect, him having this knowledge and not sharing it, were she to gather these details later on. "Oi, Claire? Your friend... she was 'elpin' us out a bit. Never met her personal, but I did run a check on 'er. I dunno if she died 'cause she was with us, an' I'm right bloody sorry for your loss. We can talk details later, if'n you wanna be in touch. Stay sharp. Best of luck, you." Provided that she didn't have anything to add, and if hopefully he didn't just open a can of drama, Keystone radied to get back on the road, himself. "Thanks, Miss McManus. Bunch."

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Grimaldi Manor

"Yeah, it's like something out of a horror movie.." Riley said softly as she took a moment to look around the kitchen, it hadn't really changed at all since the last time she was in the house. "It's been awhile since I was here last." Riley said, as she took a moment before finding the door to the basement. Riley then spotted the light switch and flipped it on, so that she could get a better look down the stairs, and so she wouldn't fall down the stairs either. Riley unholstered the gun just in case someone was actually down at the bottom of the stairs. Hearing the steps creaking each and every time she took a step lower into the basement really felt like it was a scene out of a horror movie.

Once she was at the bottom Riley flipped the second switch that lit up the rest of the basement, and started to pick up the scent of Strawberry Quick that was down there. She looked around the room, seeing the pool table and the dartboard at the other end of the room, which did bring back a lot of memories of having a lot of parties down here. "Hello, anyone down here?" Riley yelled out as she cautiously made her way slowly towards where the sound system was located. Riley couldn't help but feel very paranoid what was going on around here, before speaking out again. "It's Riley." She said, hoping that it wasn't the freaky clown that was stalking around town earlier, and maybe it was someone that she would recognize.

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: Law, Research

What Adelaide made sense, even if Robert then and there wished she would have had more information. Not knowing what were in those packages could have saved her life from a very nasty end, where Marc and Lawson had met their deminse in more or less suspicious circumstances. Better to know little to know and act innocent, rather than knowing too much and having gone too deep into the rabbit hole. "And they never came here to pick them up? Not anyone else? And you didn't send any package further on?" Robert continued his inquiry into the mysterious case of the packages, reminding himself to come up with a different title of a book, just as Adelaide revealed the contents.

A box. "Oh boy, here we go. That can't be good." was Robert's response to Adelaide looking into the box, giving her a mixed look of curiosity, annoyance and tiredness. Of course it had to be a pile of FBI-files! As if things couldn't get any worse, they were now dealing with files from the Feds. God knows what kind of trouble they were getting themselves into? "Your guess is as good as mine. He could have decided to keep them safe with you either from the FBI, or someone else? Blackmail, security, bargaining chip? Now, let's see..." Robert picked up the newest looking of the FBI-files, opening it up on the first page.

"And just about who the hell is this guy...?" Robert sighed as he read the first page of the file, his eyes scanning quickly over the information. Christopher Wallace, county coroner of Justice, California? Nope, it didn't ring any bells in Robert's mind, even as he continued to read further down the page. That was until he read that last part at the very end; Member of the suspected underground organization known as Juno.

Juno. "Well fuck me..." God damnit, was there any logical sense to what Caesar and Keystone had been talking about?

Robert looked up from the file and up at Adelaide with a confused look. "Have you heard of this guy? Christopher Wallace? Your guys clearly thought he was connected to that Juno-group that Mexican guy rambled on about."

Priya could smell the sweetness in the air. Normally, she was a sweets kind of girl. But in this instance it only made her more unnerved. What had she expected anyway? So far, Grimm, Indiana was living up to its name. If this were a horror movie, would she be considered the final girl or would Riley? She shook her head, already knowing the answer to that question. The police did not live long enough in those movies. She followed Riley down the stairs, smelling something strawberry-like, but nothing like fresh cut. She quickly scanned it, taking it all in. She was being relied on after all.

Though she did not anticipate Riley calling out for whoever was down here. Even if it was someone she knew, it did not mean they weren’t dangerous. Hell, hadn’t Riley killed people she knew? “Riley, stay behind me and let me take the lead. If anything happens, I want you to get out of here and call for back-up. I don’t know what to expect, but I do not expect anything good.”

She pushed forward past the girl, eager to explore their environment. The manor itself may have once been a great place. Heck, maybe it still was, but now it served as a potential crime scene. She resolved herself and kept a hand on her service weapon, just in case. She knew better than to fire first and ask questions later. That was how issues with the police got started. If she could prevent injury, she would. But she had a feeling it would not be that easy.

Road To Grimm: Updating Next Round.

Chicago, Illinois: It seemed that Caesar at least knew some of his bible. The end of days spoken about in Revelations seemed the be one of the most common items of interest that even the general public knew about. They had made enough movies about it that was for sure. "Depends on how one wishes to interpret them. Many myths and legends are based in truth. Fuck, even Odin was a real man at one point," he said as he opened his bible. Taking a puff from his cigarette before blowing it out, he began reading. "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars." There was a pause as he looked over towards Caesar. Flipping a few pages he took another pull from his cigarette and flipped to another marked place in his bible. He started to read again. "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."

Motioning towards the item on his desk. "I figured that fucking thing was just some crude dice from a damn new age store until," he was saying as he pulled a folded piece of paper out of his bible. It looked to be a photo of a much older sheet of paper. Handing it over to Caesar there wouldn't be really anything the man could read as it was in old Latin and the photoed piece of paper seemed to be nearly as ancient as the words themselves. The thing that stood out on it was a drawing of a similar looking object to the one that Atticus had placed on his desk, just larger and looked as if it would be opened and the papal seal. "That is a copy of the order by Pope Urban II to start the First Crusade." Snuffing out the cigarette Atticus pulled a bottle of liquor from his desk and two glasses. Putting a shots worth in each and sliding one over to Caesar. "Orders from the Pope to conquer. Not only to conquer but to search. To find the fucking Sidera Iunonis, Juno's Stars." Downing his drink he hissed slightly.

Claire glanced back towards Keystone. So they had looked into Natasha. "She wouldn't 'ave done nothin' that weren't for the better," she said before giving a nod. "Yeah, we'll get together and have a brawl. Be nice to throw some fists," she added before starting the jeep and heading out of the underground parking lot. She needed to go pick up her brother and tend to some more things. She would check in later and they had her contact information. She had her phone. The parking garage was rather empty and quiet right then, one could hear a pin drop. Any noise would echo through the concrete structure easily. It seemed he was all alone now and ready to hit the street to go pick up Caesar.

Adelaide looked over towards Robert and shook her head. "Not this one. It came and then Lawson died. I figured Marc would come pick it up or at least call or something. Never heard from him, didn't know he was gone until now," she said in a bit of a shaky voice as she sat down and shook off the feeling. Listening to what Robert was reading up on she shook her head. "No, I.." she said before trailing off. Moving over to him she read over his shoulder and quirked a brow. "Wait a minute," she said pulling out her phone and doing a quick internet search. Christopher Wallace, son of Chris and Patty (Fisher) Wallace. Son of a bitch... His mom was Patty Fisher?" Shaking her head she looked at the files. Swallowing hard she looked back at Robert. "I gotta go to Grimm."

Grimm, Indiana (Grimaldi Manor): No one answered when Riley called out and asked if anyone was there. It was quiet. Save for the music that kept playing over and over again as if it was on some sort of loop. It was creepy down there, for anyone. The place had been a lot of fun back in the day but now it was just a reminder to how things were before Prom. Before the murder spree during the reunion. Before so many had died. Sure the actual room itself hadn't changed over time but that didn't matter. Circumstance easily changed things more than any redecorating could have down there.

It seemed that everything was calm but if that sound system had been turned on, it had to be turned on by someone. It was highly doubtful that it could turn on by itself. And it didn't seem like there was anywhere someone could hide down there. And with as quick as Riley and Priya had made it down there from the time the music started, anyone that had been down there couldn't have made it up the stairs and hidden themselves elsewhere in the house without being spotted. Looking around though they wouldn't really see any clues but! After a few minutes, Riley would hear a bit of a raspy laugh, echoing, off in the distance somewhere. Priya wouldn't hear it but she would feel a bit of a draft coming from somewhere.

Cecily Ashworth

"Please don't fuck anyone, we don't need a Daken running around," she told Roy, referring to one of the comic book characters known for both his sex appeal and being the son of Wolverine. Of course given that this was Cecily, she didn't care much about the former and instead focused on the latter. She nodded her head slightly as Roy asked her if Keystone knew anything else, typing out a message on her phone and texting it to the man in question: Interesting. Anything else you know? she replied. She then glanced up, just in time to see Roy spill food onto the ground and she sighed a bit.

"Has anyone ever told you you're a bit of a slob?" she pointed out. However, her mood quickly soured as she saw Roy take his gun out and her heart started pounding. They had gotten away from Justice. She had gotten away from Caesar's secret lair of a home in Mexico. Natasha had most likely been murdered in front of her. And now, here she was, in a completely new city and already the danger level was hitting the fan. The fun of talking comics and watching Roy act like a child was over. Her survival instinct was telling her to run away, to avoid all of this and just go to the safety of a university. But she wouldn't ever be safe again - she knew that, deep down. She knew too much probably - or had gotten into the way - or some other justification that a super villain would use for having to order her death.

She nodded slightly, her hands shaking a bit as she stayed behind Roy and followed him. She had a bad feeling about this.

Mali Anson

Location: Chicago

"It's like the Bermuda Triangle of the States," Mali added, her brain picking up on the integer and running with it. "But if it were purposefully constructed by some nefarious secret society, I'm pretty sure it'd be some other Illuminati. I'm not all that knowledgeable about the corporate culture, but from what I've seen, they're not a big fan of the number 3. Maybe there's a Catholic conspiracy out there where the Pope's setting up these kinds of celestial focuses to bring doomsday or something. Or it actually is the free masons."

It was easier on her psyche to think about fictional (at least it better be) conspiracies involving Clerical Superweapons than it did to worry about the reality of Juno or the horrid alternate reality where zombies were real. However, for some reason, the idea of the Vatican being in control of a WMD like a superlaser powered by Christ's divinity didn't sit right with her. At once it was absurd, but felt all too possible. And she couldn't help but get a bizarre sense of deja vu that she quickly shook off.

"Definitely going to say no to Burger King. I'd rather go without if it comes down to that or nothing." She'd rather eat food that didn't taste of lighter fluid and poor health standards. As for the other options, Mali ran a quick, if inaccurate assessment of their general macronutrient profiles. Panera would be a bunch of carbs. Considering she had been and would continue sitting all day, she didn't really need the short-term energy. White Castle would be a similar boat, but with a sliver of meat to go with their tiny sandwiches. Which surprisingly left McDonald's the last man standing.

"I'm actually thinking McDonalds if it's not too busy. But if you'd rather hit up Panera, I could live with that." Mali decided against going on about all the nutritional reasoning behind her choice and would just let Zoie come to her own conclusion as to why she made the suggestion she did. In the end it didn't matter too much where they went. This was supposed to be a get away of sorts, and it would only be a bad time if Mali was too difficult about choosing the most optimal places and dishes to eat at every meal. Nobody likes going out to eat with that one guy who's super picky about everything. She could undo any damage done or progress lost with a few weeks of hard work once (if) she managed to return to a steady routine. Right now it was best to just focus on striking a balance between not accruing more damage than necessary and being fun enough to hang around with for the next few days.

Riley gave Pyira a slight nod as she let her take the lead and gestured over towards the sound system. "There should be an off switch there to turn it off." Riley said towards her as she turned her attention towards the rest of the room, and closed her eyes letting out a slight sigh. She remembered having a lot of parties here with her sister and a bunch of other classmates even if some of them Riley had gotten into fights with at school. She was a kid back then but they were always really fun for her to go to, some of the faces she knew she would never be able to see again thanks to Chris. "Feels so weird to be back down here." Riley said, mostly to herself as she continued to scan around the room.

Riley then jumped slightly when she suddenly heard a raspy sounding laugh in the distance which made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. She looked over towards Pyira, wondering if she could have heard it as well she didn't like it down here anymore and just wanted to get back out of the house right now. "Did you hear that?" Riley asked her as she continued to scan around the room her hand still on the gun just in case something did come out and attack them. "Something is down here, no one could have gotten up stairs so quickly without being seen." Riley pointed out, but she just kept getting the major creepy vibe still. "I'm getting the creeps right now to."

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: Law, Research

"Great, looks like we'll have to do some dirt-digging then. I always researching people..." Robert said back to Adelaide at her answer, giving the Wallace-file one last quick glance before putting it down and looking for a new one. Damnit, who the hell was this Christopher Wallace guy? It annoyed Robert, but not enough for him to pick up another file and start reading. Like in a clichĂŠ crime-novel, a clue answered none of the questions, only added to them. Or perhaps? Adelaide seemed to react as she read over his shoulder, but said little.

"Alrighty then, who do we have here?" Robert opened the file that looked the oldest, figuring it was as good a file as any of the others. If he didn't recognize the newest guy, perhaps someone older would give a different result? Opening it up carefully, as Robert knew how to handle fragile paper from his work, he stared down at another face, text written down below it. "Nope, no dice here either." This one was an old photo, real old. "Margaret Sanger, political agitator slash radical. Connections to that Rockerfellah' and...you're shitting me. Juno again? Who the hell is Aqueduct?" Robert asked himself, clearly not pleased that none of these clues were adding up to him. Adelaide didn't help either.

"Wait, hold up! Hold up a minute here. What's so important in Grimm that you're leaving all of this? And who's Patty Fischer?" Robert put down the old file with less care than the previous one, his focus totally on Adelaide at this point and her sudden desire to up and leave. "What do you see that I'm clearly failing to see here? You're not just going to leave me here alone? We've got that tech-guy coming and all!"

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Chicago (Church)
Skills: N/A

Booze before lunch. And why not? It wasn't like Caesar had a upcoming business meeting or court case that required his presence, and being quite honest with himself, thinning his blood a little might do him a world of good, what with the way that the day had been going so far. Not altogether the most hectic few hours of his life; that honor was reserved for an incident back when he was still a Federale. Nevertheless, not a day that he would remember fondly. It took less than a second for the old man to deftly acquire the shot from the priest's desktop and bring it to his lips. "Gracias," he breathed, setting the empty glass back down.

Caesar took a moment to process everything that Father Pearson was saying. It had been a while since he had looked into the totality of the Bible, even though it was no stranger to him. And yes, when someone mentioned Revelations, his mind went to the bits of it that were most popular in movies first, like most people. It made for an entertaining watch. It also tended to make the other parts of the book fuzzier in one's memory. Caesar felt a little foolish, giving the situation some thought. He had the intellectual wherewithal to go to the Church for an assist, given their resources and antiquity, but not to connect another historically reaching organization to a passage in the Bible that mentions something fairly coincidental. Given the amount of that floating around, it should have been one of the first things he looked for.

Maybe it was a matter of hubris on his part, but Caesar considered for a second that, if they were in the middle of a Revelations-esque event, how would he be mentioned in the writings to follow? More importantly, who would play him when the movie came out? Hopefully Danny Trejo. He loved that guy.

"It has been a while since I gave La Biblia a good read, Father," he admitted. "Are you saying that this," he motioned to the dodecahedron between the two of them, "is one of the stars of Juno's crown?" He peered at it with a sense of inquiry, eyes narrowed and a light scowl decorating his face. This thing was one of the reasons his daughter got mixed up with Juno? Or merely an incidental mystery to the fuckery as a whole? "Is there a specific reason why people want these so badly, or is this just archaeology bullshit?" Unknown people wanted him on the quest for these things. The Church wanted him on this too, apparently, or a representative of it anyway. Fine, he was in. Tinder was going to pay, and horribly, if he was indeed still alive. The first sentence of his obituary (his real one this time) would include the words "anus" and "chainsaw", he swore, but if it was his fate to roll himself in the Lunillud Aleae hunt, so be it. "And here's another one: Where do I find more?" If the Padre didn't have a place in mind, perhaps he had a clue. There wouldn't be an ounce of surprise if the answer had something to do with the place that fate seemed to be herding him anyway - Grimm, Indiana.

Okay, Claire had stuff to do. Important stuff. Funereal stuff. He couldn't fault her for needing to get out of Dodge as soon as possible. Come to think of it, it was probably best if he and his boss followed suit and got on the road, themselves. Not that he couldn't spend a good amount of time here in sunny Chicago. He has always heard that this city was a culinary hub, and he was always ready to take a few notes and try new things so far as food was concerned. It was a trait that people unacquainted with the man generally didn't expect from him; a spot of artistry amid the rough edges and promises of intense violence. Maybe after all of this nonsense was over, he could request a temporary spot in the local branch of the company and take in the culture. Provided that he survived, anyway. So many people had died for whatever the hell was going on that he was not overly optimistic about his future. It would be nice, though.

These thoughts were getting him nowhere. He had someplace to be and the clock was ticking. Hopefully, bossman's meeting with the priest was going along swimmingly and they could hit the road soon. He had security and surveillance equipment, nonlethal means of dealing with assholes, several lethal means, a vehicle with a full tank of gas, and a full stomach. If he was very lucky, by the end of the day he would be greeted to the sight of a hotel room with cool air and crisp linen, somewhere other than Chicago. Step one was to get in his car and haul ass.

The departing jeep made him feel a little down. He was now alone in the middle of a parking structure with a duffel full of goodies and more questions than answers. Aside from standing there, the only thing left to do was get a move on. Keystone huffed a quick, "Right, then," and gave a quick jog back to the company SUV. He opened the door and got himself situated, settling the bag in the passenger seat. Quick check to mirrors, electronics, and the like, then he set his company cell in the handsfree mount and keyed up his music. A quick reverse of the last referenced directions of the GPS and he had his destination.

In no time at all, Keystone was cruising down the streets of Chicago, windows rolled snugly up and the sound system blaring "Set Fire To The Rain". It had been a while since he'd been to church. His adventure was taking him to the most curious places.

Chicago, Illinois: Adelaide looked over at Robert and sighed. "I'll leave after the tech gets here and you're coming with me," she said as she leaned back in her seat. "Patty Fisher, Fisher and Son's Funeral Home, Grimm Indiana. So yeah, this has to have to do with Grimm somehow. That family is the only funeral home in Grimm, has taken care of burials for nearly as long as my family has been in town. She's his," she said before tapping Wallace's file. "Mother. So yeah, it all goes back to Grimm. Always does.Like a fucking black hole of shit."

Standing up she went to a shelf. "I was always interested in history and reading growing up. Being in a small town where it seemed like nothing ever happened. I would go to the library a lot. We didn't exactly have a lot of books there. But we had a lot of news paper clippings," she said as her fingers went over what looked to be leather bound photo albums and scrapbooks. They seemed rather out of place considering all the old books she had. "So I started reading those, and photocopying them," she added as she pulled one out and started flipping through it.

Finding the page she was looking for she turned the thing around and tossed it onto the table in front of Robert. The headline read. "Patty Fisher, found guilty of Murder. Committed to Grimm Asylum." Sitting downs he pushed her hair out of her face. "We were always told nothing happened in Grimm. Thing was, it did, it was just that no one would talk about it."

The streets were fine and Keystone would get back to the Church without issue. In the church Atticus shrugged. "Could be but from what I have gathered, the church had four of these at one time and that was when it was at it's most powerful." Taking a long pull from his cigarette he looked down and picked at the edge of his desk. "Hitler was rumored to have four of them as well." He smirked a bit. "They're said to have some type of power. I doubt I believe that shit but you would be surprised what someone can do if they believe in something strong enough."

Looking back over at Caesar he shook his head a bit. "I don't know, this is the only one I have come across. Don't seem to give me any magical powers but who knows maybe I'm just not fucking using it right."

Road To Grimm: Zoie shrugged and turned on the blinker. "Works for me," she said as she waited for an opening in the traffic to turn. It didn't really matter to her. With everything that was going down and the fact that her main contact with Juno was now dead, not to mention her contact with the FBI had burned up in her barn, she was pretty sure she no longer had work with either of them. It might be a good idea to once she was done with this whole Tinder thing, to pack her shit and high tail it back to Leesburg Georgia and see if her dad needed help in the garden or if Master Seo wanted her to teach a few kid classes in the evening at his Tae Kwon Do school.

Finally an opening happened and she turned, heading for the McDonald's. It didn't look too busy, it was after lunch but before dinner. Pulling up and getting in line at the drive thru, there was only one car in front of her from what she could see and they were at the order speaker. Looking over the menu she glanced towards Mali. "What you want?" she asked as she looked things over. After a minute, the person in front of her pulled up and around to go pay and collect their food. It was her turn to order. Pulling up she leaned against the window slightly.

"What can I get ya?" some kid said through the speaker.

"Twenty nuggets, large coke, large fries and," she started before pausing and glancing over at Mali, waiting for her order.

Grimm, Indiana (Grimaldi Manor): Same thing. Layout same, smells and such the same. The noise that Riley heard seems to have faded away. As far as what Priya felt, draft wise, she is still feeling it. Wish I could give you more but can't right now. So go over what the characters are seeing and feeling or have heard and go from there.

Grimm, Indiana (Police Station): Roy cast a glance back over to Cecily and raised a brow. "Hey! It's been so long don't you try to cock block me!" he said before looking around again and muttering under his breath, "I seem to go enough of that myself." Taking a few steps towards the police station he chuckled. "Yeah, ex-wife said that too." He wasn't lying, there had been more than one occasion where she had told him he was a slob. Maybe he was but right then he didn't care. The lights flickered above the door that lead into the station and Roy pulled his gun as he couldn't see inside.

Reaching forward he pulled the door open slowly. It was dark inside, the red light from the exit sign at the back door the only real illumination in the place. Then the light flickered again and came on more steady. That painful office lighting. "Divine." It was the voice from the Candy Crush app on Grace's phone that she had been playing a while ago when Priya and Riley had been in there. Thing was, Roy didn't see Grace around. Walking over to the counter he shoved his gun over as he looked. No one was there but Graces phone was left there and there was a crack on it.

Priya Khurana

Location: Grimaldi Manor
Skills:N/A

Priya was not about to let the circumstances get the better of her. Whoever was down here was not playing with them. Priya kept a hand on her service weapon, unwilling to let Riley take the lead. She was the one with actual authority, such as it was. “I feel a draft. Someone is down here. I’m through playing games though.” Priya moved forward, keeping an eye out as best she could. Riley was right, there was no way for whoever this was to start the music and make it up the stairs in time to hide from them. So, whoever it was, they were down here.

“This is Detective Priya Khurana. We know you are down here. Come out with your hands up.” Priya inched forward to the sound system. If she couldn’t get whoever it was to come out without effort, she would at least stop the annoying music from playing. She looked at the system and pushed the button she hoped was the off switch.

“I’ve felt creeped out since I set foot in Grimm. This is merely the icing on the creepy cake that is my visit here. You know this place better than I do. Is there a place for someone to hide easily down here? I want to make sure I am not going in blind to…whoever this is.” Priya felt goosebumps along her arm, unable to hide the fact she was growing nervous, but her resolve did not shift. She was a police detective, damn it. She had seen worse, surely.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Grimm, Indiana (Police Station)
Skills: N/A

Cecily couldn't help but giggle, hearing Roy's cries about being cock blocked and his ex-wife. She wouldn't actually stand in the way of things if he met someone, of course - but it was fun to tease him about the possibility of Draken, given his new status as being Wolverine. Of course, if she was Rogue then that did raise a question - who was her Gambit? She didn't ship Rogue and Iceman together, no matter what the film franchise tried to do. Rogue and Gambit were meant to be together, period. Besides, Iceman had different love interests in the comics and so did Kitty Pryde. At least they had gotten Jean Grey and Cyclops together - though she did have a soft spot for Cyclops and Emma Frost.

Of course, she couldn't focus on the love dynamics of the X-Men for very long, as they went into something that Cecily instinctively compared to the game Five Nights at Freddie's. She jumped slightly, scared out of her skin as she heard the Candy Crush sound go off. It wasn't scary on its own but she was on edge so much lately that she couldn't help but be scared. Going up behind Roy, she peered around him and saw the phone, relaxing slightly. The crack she didn't think much of - lots of people had cracked phones. No one seemed to really be here, something that she felt was odd. Having only really lived in big cities, she was used to police stations being full of officers - but maybe this was just how things were in small towns?

"Roy... Any idea what the hell is going on here?" she whispered to him.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Grimaldi Manor
Skills: N/A

The sound seemed to have faded right now, Riley still couldn't help but be really freaked out by it all regardless as Pyira walked over to the sound system to turn it off. Despite all of the good memories that Riley had down here with some of her classmates the place was still really freaky to be down in here alone with just Pyira. Riley then turned towards her asking if there was some other place that someone could have hidden themselves in. Which Riley didn't even know she hadn't been to the Grimaldi's in a really long time even her last visit in town for the reunion Riley didn't visit the manor at all. "It's one of the main reasons why I have pushed this place as far back into my head as possible." Riley said softly as she tried to look around the room a little bit more, the family was pretty damn loaded as well and looked towards her.

"I mean the family is pretty fucking loaded, and maybe it's a really fucking crazy idea but maybe theres one of those really cheesy hidden rooms down here?" Riley suggested as that was probably the only thing she could think of since no one could simply just disappear down in the basement. "I mean if you want history of the town, I can probably think of a lot of stories growing up." Riley said as she started to run her hand along the wall. "But personally i'd rather just get the fuck out of here right now."

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: N/A

For a moment Robert thought that Adelaide was going show her reasonable adult side, when she reassured him she wouldn't be leaving before the tech guy arrived. Robert would have breathed out, but instead he breathed more in as she said that he would join her. What? This was not what he had expected. None of this he had expected! Not that he had any time to interrupt her, as she finally began explaining some of the connections he was missing. And apparently, it led to Grimm. Everything led to Grimm.

"Okay, so she's the mother of the now dead Wallace guy, and this all is wrapped up in a big bad ball of a conspiracy involving Juno...right? Fine, sure I think...But what's so important about..." Robert finally interjected into the conversation as Adelaide went for the photo album, his patience running thinner than what his hairline would be in a few years if he kept working in the same, crappy job. His words were turned to nothing as his eyes finally read over the photocopied page, and he silently mouthed the words he read. Now he was eating his owns words. "I'll be damned..."

Robert read the page once over, then the headline again and again as he tried to think rationally, logically and professionally about all of this, as hard as that was from the very start. "So...who did she put to the big sleep, and how long ago? Before your time I take it." Robert asked, his mind hard at work to figure out what to do. And then it hit him hard. "Hey, I can try to get some of her medical files from her old insurance company. That could be useful, perhaps find something that could explain her getting comitted to the looney-bind and what happened to her afterwards." Robert suggested himself, eyes now looking up from the photocopied page and onto Adelaide, now sitting in a chair. She wasn't being optimistic about this whole ordeal, and neither was Robert. "Jesus...just how far down does this rabbit hole go? Really doesn't make me jump in joy to visit Grimm..."

Mali Anson

Location: Road to Grimm (McDonalds)
Skills: N/A

Mali sat back and contemplated what she was going to eat. It'd been quite some time since she'd eaten at McDonald's, so she wasn't entirely sure what was it that they had, but it was probably safe to assume they hadn't gotten rid of any of the "classics" on their menu. They had a grilled chicken sandwich didn't they? She was probably going to end up defaulting to that, but it couldn't hurt to go over other potential options before going the safe route.

Anything fried was immediately out of the question. Potatoes, chicken, onions, fries, didn't matter what was being fried, she wasn't going to go down that road. Likewise, she wasn't going to get any dessert options. If she was going to get a burger of some kind, it'd be best to maximize the meat-to-bun ratio, but the issue would be that the burger would have a shit ton of fat too. Any fancy, specialty burgers would probably be smothered in some kind of special sauce that would just compound those issues further. Going along those lines, a double quarter pounder would be best. But did she actually want this? It was around this point in her thought process that she realized it was her time to order.

"Oh, um. Could I get two of your grilled chicken sandwiches. Just the sandwiches. And a cup of water." Put on the spot, the boring option won out from force of habit. Perhaps in greater quantities than she'd planned, but Mali had a feeling a single grilled chicken sandwich wouldn't have quite enough substance for one meal. And if by chance it was, she could just save the second for later. Maybe dinner or lunch tomorrow. The idea of leftover McDs wasn't the most appealing, but after years of forcing herself to eat far less appealing food items in the name of results, she wasn't too worried about it.
