Yuzuriha: Geez...Both of you are being such a downers... (Maybe I'll lent them my smartphone...)

Theo: I mean...We're not really in a stargazing mood.

Kaori: Specially not in the middle of the street.

Theo: So...can you tell us what's the name of the In-Birth you've been looking for?

Yuzuriha: I think it was...Glyscor? No...Maybe it was Scyther? Something like that.

Theo: No...We don't know anyone by those names...

Then, Kaori remembers about the reunion they had a couple hours ago when everyone was catching up with what happened the day prior. After realizing that, she started coughing loudly.


Kaori: *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH* (If they only knew Xaizor isn't from this world.)

Theo: (Seems like she figured what's going on.)

Yuzuriha: Whoa...Are you okay?

Kaori: This is what remained of a flu I had a while ago...I'll be fine.

Kaori: (This just makes me even more curious on who wants to know about him...)

Rayla: No...I'm feeling like staying for a while. Not really in a hurry to go back home since we now live by ourselves.

Mina: Alright everyone. I believe is about time we started that party I promised. We need to unwind after this rough day we just had. So...who's willing to come?

Hyde leaves, The members of the student council heads back inside the building without another word. Sera and Lyna had already left the place, Daniella was heading towards the back of the school while reading a book about poems.

Nicholas: I was expecting something like this would happen.

Mina: Same...But didn't stop me from trying...I thought that maybe everyone could relax...but I guess this wasn't such a great idea.

Nicholas: No need to beat yourself up about it. We know you had good intentions.

Nancy: This has everything to do with her, That's reason enough. Even if the glaive somehow doesn't turn out to not be done by the DUST Organization, she was still being targetted by them. It's only natural that she fights back once she has the means to do so.

Touko: I guess I understand...

Nancy: Welcome to the World Crossers Guild Lilina! No need to worry about doing an entrance exam. There's no need for those right now.

Reimu: I suppose introductions will be necessary then. First of all, the man who left a few moments ago is named Jin Kaien Kamishirasawa. He is one of King Lumino's adjuntants from a long past.

Xaizor: Adjuntants?! You mean that dude fought alongside Dad?!

Reimu: Yes and he is really strong, if that answers your second question you haven't made yet.

Cookie: Perhaps I should introduce myself next. I'm Cookie Toadstool Hinanawi, another adjuntant of King Lumino Arcadia. It's a pleasure to meet you all.

Xaizor: You too?! Well, you do look really strong! I can't wait to see what you and that Jin guy can do!

Cookie: I'll do my best, Prince Xaizor.

Reimu: So as long as you don't destroy my shrine.

Soon, Marina and Alice joined the rest. Considering they heard about the chat from the kitchen, Alice was the next one to speak.


Alice: Well then, I am next. My name is Alice Margatroid. I come from the same world as Reimu. I've already met Xaizor and Marina, so that shortens introductions.

Reimu: First of all, I apologize for suddenly entering in your world but that was a request from King Lumino. We've been tasked to watch over Xaizor and Marina as they continue with their expedition in Unitia.

Xaizor: So Dad asked you four to watch over us two?

Reimu: Yes. About who lives here with me, Jin will be staying here. Cookie, you'll go with Alice to her house.

Cookie: Understood.

Alice: I certainly prefer this formation. I don't think Jin would like to stay at my house, after all.

Reimu: Regardless, we have no intentions of meddling with your business for as long as we can. Our mission and priority here is to watch over these two.

Cookie: Still, if we get the ability to help you all on your quests, we shall do it if we're permitted to.

Alice: We also have no intentions of becoming enemies of Unitia and its citizens. Believe me, the last thing we want to do is giving reasons for you to pick us off.

Reimu's team was there to protect the Prince and the Princess of Lacrima. They would give their all to see both of them safe and sound.


Marina: So Father sent you four to aid us. That leaves me a little relieved. Still, I hope I can learn more about another worlds.

Xaizor: All I care is that I'm going to have a blast with this expedition!

Reimu: Heh... these two are a little bit eccentric, but I hope they won't impose a problem to all of you. If they do, warn me and I'll give them a good beating.

Marina: I-I promise I will behave, ma'am!

Xaizor: Hmm...

Marina: Xaizor, you will behave as well, right?

Xaizor: Eh? You said something? I was thinking on a new technique.

Marina went to Xaizor and slapped him. She never liked how distracted he could be.


Xaizor: OWW!! Stop slapping me!!

Marina: Imbecile! Listen when other people are speaking with you!

Xaizor: If Reimu was actually talking with me, she would've said my name!

Marina: Then at least pay attention to the conversation! You are a prince, behave like one!

Alice: ... "Eccentric", Reimu?

Reimu: ... I better think of another word to use.

After a walk, Jin, Kaito, Lucent, Kiragi and the Sprites reached the orphanage. No one was awaiting at the entrance, so the coast seemed clear for now.


Jin: Alright, we're here. Now, you guys go get some food to eat and rest well too.

Kaito: Well, Kiragi's already sleeping, so...

Kiragi: Zzzzz...

Lucent: T-Thank you o-once more... s-sir...

Jin: No sir here. The name's Jin. And don't worry about it.

Jin: Well, I'm heading back. Good night, you five.

Jin left, heading back to the shrine. Kaito, Lucent, Kiragi and the Sprites went inside.


Lucent: I'll take Kiragi back to bed. Wait here for me and we'll see if there's dinner.

Kaito: Are you sure you can take him there?

Lucent: Don't worry. I still have energy for that.

Lucent carried Kiragi in his arms and left for the kid's room while Kaito stood at the living room.

5T: Well, this makes it a lot easier for us to analyze your Glaive. I had a feeling you wouldn't let us if we refused you.

Lilina: You are right in that. I certainly wouldn't leave it here and go home-

Lilina: Ah, I forgot to warn Masaru that I'm here! He must be pretty worried!

5T: I don't think you're going home right now. Even though there won't be an entrance exam, you still need to do your registration as a member. I also think Lady Serena might want to speak with you, as a new recruit.

Lilina: Well, that's...

5T: Besides, don't you want to see your mother before leaving?

Nancy: Hey Professor, We've got another one to hear about your story.

Makis: So I heard. It's nice to finally meet her.

Mana: I'll go get the briefing room ready.

Makis: No need to hurry. She just got here right? Why don't let her relax for a bit? If she wants to of course.

Reimu: Alright then, it's time for us to eat.

Xaizor: Great! I'm hungry as hell after all that fighting!

Marina: Xaizor, we have guests! Get back here!

Alice: Ah! Hey, don't mess up things in the kitchen!

Alice followed the hasty brothers as they went inside the kitchen, almost messing everything up.


Cookie: Those two will surely give us trouble.

Reimu: Get used to it. This is your life right now.

Reimu: Oh, right. Before I forget...

Reimu took out a letter and gave it to Rayla. It contained the royal emblem of Lacrima.


Reimu: King Lumino asked me to give you this letter. However, he said he'd like you all to read it whenever Marina and Xaizor aren't near you.

Cookie: Well then, shall we head inside?
Jin: Wait for me!!

Jin descended right from the sky and landed right next to them.


Jin: There's still some for me, right? Don't tell me you guys ate all the food already!

Cookie: We didn't even begin to eat.

Jin: Whew... I was worried I'd go to sleep hungry...

Reimu: OK, enough talk. Let's go inside and eat.

5T: I'll go check if she can receive your visit. She has been really stressed out.

Lilina: I can only imagine. Still, I'd like to see her, if only that.

5T: I'll send the confirmation. Stay here for a while.

5T left the lab and went to check on Lilina's mother since the girl wanted to see her. While the idea was for her to rest her mind, she also wanted to know what Makis had to tell her.


Lilina: In the meanwhile, I suppose I can hear what you have to tell me. It's important, so let's not leave for another time.

Makis: Indeed. Now then...much like before, I'll start from the beginning.

Music: Moment Before Dawn

This whole issue with Psychic Users has been happening even before our organization started working on glaives. There has been quite a few reports of them awakening to their powers, only to lose control of it right afterwards and cause some massive damage to their surroundings. Once they have settled down, some of them would either try to find a way to live a normal life again...or just cause terror with their new powers.

That's when a organization started to not only hunt, but also research for ways to harness their power...Or rather, it seemed like they already knew what they were doing...as if they were on the job for quite a while. The name of said organization was the Sumeragi Group. A place rumored to exist for many years, we aren't sure for how long.

After the civil war, we decided that we would start researching the recent appearance of Psychic Users in our city, even asking Sumeragi Group to share their research with us. They agreeded on the condition that we would also share our findings with them. That's pretty much their only involvement in this, just sharing of information....And thus, DUST Organization was born.

Then, 2 years ago, one of our head reseachers, his name being Graner Wakter, developed something that would be known as Compact Glaives, a derivate project from Sumeragi's own Glaives, but instead of controlling a Psychiccer's power, it would grant combat knowledge to its user once activated.

But, our then, current leader, a woman by the name of Tamari Leta, thought that project was too risky due to one flaw: The user was at risk of having their brain damaged upon the first activation, usually losing some body functions or just outright dying. The best results where only on people who were already strong, as they didn't get any sort of aparent damage.

One day, Graner went to her office. Nobody knows what happened there really, but once he came back from his visit, he announced that he was appointed the new leader and that Miss Tamari had left the group, aproving the Compact Glaive to begin mass production, and thus, DUST's approach to the issue with Psychic Users became what you see today.


Makis: Of course, I found this issue VERY suspicious. Granted, even before Graner became leader, we were still planning to control psychic users...However, Miss Tamari wanted to do this in a way were they could coexist with everyone, not turning them into weapons of war. (That would most certainly get us into a conflict with Sumeragi Group in the near future...)

Makis: I want to believe that Miss Tamari would still refuse such a project, no matter what. This is why I decided to learn the inner working of the glaive before defecting from the organization, teaching everything I knew to this Guild.

Makis: And...This is pretty much it. We have no ways of proving to the public that DUST Organization are behind these attacks...But we'll get there for sure.

Rayla: (A letter to read away from them? I wonder why is that...)

She keeps the letter in her pocket while getting up in order to head for the kitchen.


Tiane: Talk about lack of etiquete.

Rayla: You of all people saying that?

Tiane: The boss always made sure that we would get our plates in an ordely manner, something that would carry on when we would cook soup for the homeless.

Rayla: I...see.

Tiane: I still have the urges sure, but food is not something you should rush...

Rayla: (...Tiane really made a strong bond with the members of the Freelers Gang...I'm ashamed on not noticing that before...So much for someone who learned how to read people by fighting thugs daily...Maybe...I wouldn't be worried IF she decided to go back to them. Sure, she's still rude, but she also learned a couple of things that helped her not turn into a worse type of thug.)

Seimei Family Mansion - Entrance


Yuzuriha: This place never fails to impress me...Huh?

Theo: What's the matter?

Yuzuriha: I dunno...The heavy air around here is...gone?

Theo: Ah that? Well...Yes actually. At least until the one who managed to dispel it dies...which hopefully won't happen so soon.

Yuzuriha: I see. I guess this will be one of my go to spots when I go jogging around...but anyway, you guys are delivered.

Kaori: Thanks for making us company.

Yuzuriha: Mission more than complete! Again, sorry for being suspicious.

Theo: It's okay. I'm sure it will all clear up in the near future. And then, we can be friends.

Yuzuriha: Owch...Are you saying we weren't before friends before?

Theo: Oh...I mean...

Kaori: Bad choice of words darling...

The three started laughing out loud. Then, said their goodbyes. Theo and Kaori watched Yuzuriha dissapear into the distance, both heading back into the mansion soon after.

Lilina: I see. In short terms, DUST was created to research Psychics and allow their coexhistence with humans but the project went towards a different route from the initially planned.

Lilina: ... That goal... it's something I could definitely share. Peace between us and humanity...

Makis: I'm glad that you understand. Ah, one more thing: Don't ever mention my name out loud. The city has some nasty ears. If they find out that I'm here...I'm not sure what would happen to the guild. Not because that DUST is dangerous...more like, they aren't our only problem.

Theo: We're home!

Himika: Welcome back you two!

Kaori: Are you feeling better now?

Himika: Well, I'm going to have to rest for a while longer...but the timing couldn't have been better since...you know, I don't have to spend countless nights up late.

Hinamori: ....

Himika: D-Don't look at me like that Hina...You don't need to feel bad about it.

Hinamori: I wasn't...It's just...thinking how hard you worked for all these years...

Himika: And I would've done it a thousand times over!

Hinamori: Even if meant your health?

Himika: We're family right? I might just as well give up my soul for your sake.

Hinamori: You would become a rather overwhelming ghost...that's for sure.

Himika: Y-Yikes...I don't plan on going THAT far! I want to live as much as I can...With everyone by my side if possible...

Kaori: They seem to be getting along rather well.

Theo: Indeed. I'm happy for them.

Theo: Not really. Why?

Himika: Because I would like for us to take Hina on a trip around the city.

Theo: That would be nice. I guess I can skip class just this once. Count me in!

Kaori: I don't think I'll be coming with you three...don't want to get in the way of an important family outing.

Himika: Awww, You can come too if you want.

Kaori: Sorry...Maybe another time. I don't think I would be able to keep up with your pace.

Chizuru: Oh? The group seems to be in high spirits this time.

Sister Bell: Indeed we are.

Haken: In fact, we've hit quite the jackpot today.

Chizuru: That's great news!

Sister Bell: But first, do you still have that vacant room?

Chizuru: Not really. Someone just took it a while ago.

???: I told that it's fine, I'll just stay over at Marcia's home.

Suddenly, a man entered the place. Wearing a long coat, having silver hair...and a rather "unique" looking right arm.


Chizuru: I'm guessing you're also not from here.

Nero: Pretty much, name's Nero.

Chizuru: I'm Chizuru Kashiwagi. Pleased to meet you. As you've heard, we're out of rooms.

Nero: I don't really mind. I can handle stuff on my own. I appreciate the offer though.

Sister Bell: I guess it can't be helped...

Fear Mace: Had a feeling this would happen. Not everyone wants gratitude to be repayed.

Fear Mace: I'm just bored...Not like I have anything interesting to add...

Suddenly, a blonde girl wearing a white jacket entered the place.


Girl: Hmmm...I was expecting her to react to Nero's arm, but she looks pretty darn unfazed.

Nero: (Oh crap, I forgot to hide it.)

Haken: There you are Miss Traveler. Now that you mention it, our Innekeeper doesn't look all that surprised to see a demonic-looking arm up close.

Fear Mace: Maybe it's for the best...I can guess the kid has some issues displaying that thing around, so it's better if nobody comments on it.

Girl: Experience huh? (Still, that's pretty strange...Am I thinking too hard about it?)

Chizuru: I guess you must be their great lead.

Girl: Indeed I am! Let me introduce myself.

Marcia Comet: I am a traveler that comes from beyond the stars! Beyond the suns and even beyond the Galaxies! Travelling through this seemingly infinite cosmos, like a shining meteor, with not set destination in sight. The name's Marcia Comet, pleased to meet you Madam-

The room went silent after Marcia bowed to Chizuru after she was done with her speech. Sister Bell's body was trembling, feeling a bad omen. Fear and Haken however, were amused by the situation.


Haken: (No hesitation at all.)

Sister Bell: (Oh my Lord...)

Chizuru: ...You're certainly new here...Miss Comet, I must inform you that I'm still not that old...You may call me Chizu-

Marcia: Great talking to ya! I'm taking Nero now, see ya tomorrow!

Nero: Wha-Hey!

Marcia took Nero by the collar and took him out while he protested that he could walk by himself.


Chizuru: ...She's a bold one...Not caring about manners like that...

Sister Bell: I-I'm sure she didn't mean no harm...A-Anyway...L-Let's go eat something...

Haken: After you!

Fear Mace: (Seems like things will be slightly less boring with that blondie around.)

5T returned to the lab after checking on Lilina's mother.


5T: Your mother wants to see you. She's waiting on the lobby upstairs.

Lilina: T-Thank you!

Lilina ran upstairs and reached the lobby. She saw her mother standing right there, also surprised.


Lilina: Mom!!

Heather: Lilina?! You're safe!!

Heather ran and hugged Lilina as tightly as she could. Lilina hugged her back.


Heather: T-Thank goodness you're OK... I was so worried... after everything that happened, I...!

Lilina: I-I was so worried about you too! I'm sorry, it's all my fault! It's all because I'm-

Heather: Don't worry, Lilina. I... I understand.

Lilina: Y-You do?!

Heather: They've explained to me. About your... situation.

Lilina: Mom...

Heather: But the last thing I'll do is blaming my daughter for such an event. It's those ruffians fault for doing what they did!

Lilina: ...

Heather: What matters to me is that my daughter is safe and sound. I don't have anything else to care about this situation. Now, we can live our normal lives as we did before.

Lilina: That's not possible for me, Mom. Not anymore.

Lilina: I've joined the Guild, Mom. I'm going to fight too.

Heather: Lilina... no, what are you saying?! Are you really going to put yourself at such risk?!

Lilina: I don't have a choice, Mom! I can't stay a victim forever! I have the means to strike them back, all that's left is-

Heather: Retaliation isn't the best answer for all problems! We can go away from the city, flee and be free from this mess!

Lilina: Are you telling me to abandon my friends?! And the other victims?!

Lilina: I won't do that! I'd rather let myself be captured than just let them do whatever they want with the others!

Heather: Lilina, this is not your fight! You shouldn't throw yourself at what it doesn't matter to you!

Lilina: It became my fight in the first day I was attacked, Mom. You know they will come back, as many times as necessary until I'm captured and taken.

Lilina: I won't deny, I said to myself that I wouldn't go ahead... but that's just me running away. Ignoring everything thus far and... just turning a blind eye to the problem.

Heather: ...

Lilina: But I'm determined to end this. I want this to end, Mom. I can't just catch a plane and live as if nothing happened while others are here, being attacked nonstop. That's not what... that's not what Dad would expect of me, if he was here...

Lilina remembered her father. She never knew him well enough, but she loved him and lost him while she was young. Heather had to take care of their daughter alone, but rose Lilina as her husband would have also liked. As such, she now regretted it a little, but knew her daughter wouldn't step back.


Heather: ... Is there nothing I can do to change your mind?

Lilina: I'm sorry, but there isn't. I'm going to fight and that's final.

Heather: ...

Location: Glory Star Orphanage - Kiragi Starlight's Room

Lucent put the sleeping Kiragi on his bed. The young boy was sleeping soundly, as if nothing could wake him up. Lucent looked at the room's window, as the spirits talked with him.

BGM: Path of Repentance


Ictio: Lord Lucent, aren't you going to eat?

Lucent: I-I will... I just need a moment to... sort all of this.

Umbra: ...
Lucent: Why me? Why an I the one to save the Dream Realm? Why am I being chased? And by who?

Ictio: Lord Lucent...

Umbra: We don't have those answers. If we did, we would've told you from the beginning.

Lucent: I'm not blaming you, I just... I don't know what to do in this... situation.

Lucent: Everything is going too fast... is this what God prepared as my path of repentance?

Ictio: Path of... repentance? Why do you think like that?

Lucent: ... It's a long story...

Lucent shared his past with the twins. After hearing the story, both of them were shocked to their cores.


Umbra: Your powers... killed a child?

Ictio: T-That can't be! Y-You're so kind-looking and you don't look evil at all!

Lucent: That doesn't matter. It happened and it's real. My powers killed someone... that's why I always tried to create distance between me and other people...

Umbra: Distance won't take you anywhere near redemption. In fact, it'll just push you away.

Lucent: Y-You think so?

Umbra: Nothing good could ever come out of solitude. Lord Lucent, you need to keep those whom you care close to you. Make of them your pillar of support.

Lucent: B-But if I hurt them, I could never-
Umbra: But you're not doing that, right?

Lucent: N-N-No, I'm not. I don't want that to happen.

Umbra: Then grow outside of the shell you built. Only then you'll be free of the darkness that tortures you.

Ictio: Yeah! You have friends who support you all the way!

After hearing their words, Lucent reminded himself of the others. They were saying the same thing he said just now. Could there truly be hope for him, at the end of the road?


Lucent: ... I'll go to the kitchen. Best if you two rested as well.

Umbra: Alright then. Let's go, Ictio.

Ictio: Good night, Lord Lucent!

He got up and left the room. The spirits became orbs and went inside Kiragi's body, resting alongside his soul.

Time passed, Rayla and Tiane were ready to head back home after eating dinner.


Rayla: Thanks for having us today Reimu.

Tiane: Yep! The food was also really great.

Rayla: We'll see you next time, and take care.

Tiane: Bye-Bye everyone! Hope you enjoy your stay in this mess of a city.

Then, Rayla pulled the letter Reimu gave her.


Rayla: Lumino...right? I wonder what he wants with me.

The young man was already at bed. Looking at the ceiling with a melancholic expression. His brother prohibiting him of going to school just as Drake had predicted. He wouldn't be able to hang out with his friends any longer. From now on, he would study at home.


Drake: But after I'm done with them...then what? I'm probably still going to be stuck in this place...

Even though it was for love, Drake felt suffocated already. It was something that he would have to get used to for the rest of his life.


Drake: Maybe...

A thought that had been lingering in his mind resurfaced again. Something that he has been planning to do for a while now.


Drake: Does this means...that it is time for me to decided on it once and for all?

He didn't knew if he had the strenght to do so...but he knew he had to decide soon.


Drake: ...I guess...Tomorrow...I'll have my answer for sure.

Then, he pulled the bedsheets over himself, closed his eyes and waited for the dreams to take over his mind.

"Habitants of Unitia and friends of my children...

Good day, afternoon or evening to you. I'm Lumino Arcadia I, King of Lacrima. Before I can start, I'd like to apologize. I can't hold an audience with you right now, due to world connection circumstances. I've actually managed to send them over there by the luck of finding a crack in the barrier that separates your world and mine. Rest assured, I've already managed to fix it myself. The barrier is pretty strong. I'm impressed on how powerful Ancestor Magic is.

Rayla: Eh? The Barrier is made out of Ancestor Magic? (How? This implies someone out there created it...and who it might've been?)

The reason why I asked Reimu to give you this letter is because I want to explain myself nad my reasons, since this is something I must do. I can only imagine how you find me irresponsible for sending my own children into a world that's dangerous, to the point I'd lie to them about it. There are four reasons which I choose to send them: aid, growth, fate and fear.

Rayla: He had to remind me of that time when I called him exactly that...

Tiane: Back then, you didn't knew about their situation, so I guess there's no hard feelings.

Rayla: Hopefully not...

The first one is that I want to aid your world however I can. I used to be a Dimensional Traveler, so going through worlds to help whoever needed it was my task. Ever since I became king, though, that's not possible for me anymore. I wanted to be there, aiding you all, but I have a promise with my people. I created Lacrima to rescue and inhabit people from worlds which their doom was set, so their protection comes first and foremost. However, I don't want your world to fall under the same fate of many others whom are lost and unrecoverable. Thus, thanks to the opening on your barrier, I managed to send people there to help: Prince Xaizor and Princess Marina.

Rayla: This adds up with what Azura said...This world is truly in danger...

Tiane: And yet, we're not even close to know who's responsable for this.

Rayla: Yeah... (Wonder if we'll even get a clue...)

Then we come to the second part, which is growth. As you can see, my kids are... well, sort of an odd duo. Xaizor is completely reckless and Marina is completely cautious. I tried to grow them under different circumstances, but I think there's a limit of what I can do and what my world can do. Eventually, things started to get too comfortable and the fact that they're royalty here doesn't help much. So by sending them into a place where things work very differently and they're no prince or princess but just normal people, it may allow them to mature... or I do hope so. I know they are a bit of a troublemaker duo, but please bear with them. They mean no harm.

Rayla: On the bright side, I guess their personality is what makes them endearing. I can't be that mad.

Rayla: Though, I feel like Xaizor might be the first to end up in some real trouble if he doesn't change his attitude...

Tiane: ....

About the third reason... it's related to Marina and Xaizor. I found them when they were small children, but they came from your world, ages ago. I have no idea how or why, but the fact is that their fate is linked to your world. Currently, they hold no memories of Unitia but I want them to discover it. Painful or not, it has to be done.

Rayla: W-WHAT? T-They're aren't actually outsiders?

Tiane: Now that's something I didn't see coming.

Rayla: Same here... (Well, if I had to take a guess...)




Rayla: (It was when those monsters appeared. Maybe they got dragged somehow and the shock made them lose their memories...It's just a guess but...)

Tiane: Rayla?

Rayla: Oh...Right... (They might have an bigger personal stake in this than we first thought...)

And the last reason. I fear I don't have much time left. An enemy of mine, sealed at least a millenia ago, has escaped. I've sent my official Emissaries to investigate the cause, but my answers are few. I'm unsure of what she's planning, whether to attack Lacrima directly or to destroy countless worlds, taking the advantage of the fact that I cannot leave. This is why, if anything, I want my kids safe. I love those two, even if we're not connected by blood whatsoever.

Rayla: I understand...Family is family after all...

Rayla: Don't worry Lumino...I'll make sure they'll feel right at home...

For now, this is all that I can tell you. I hope that, one day, we can meet each other face to face. Reimu told me about you, based on what Xaizor and Marina tell about Unitia. It would make me happy to meet people from your world at last.

Then, they finally got home. Tiane headed straight for bed while Rayla cleaned the house. Once she got to her room, Rayla put the letter inside a drawer before heading to bed.


Rayla: I'll make sure the city is one piece before you get here...Until then, take care Lumino.

The girl closed her eyes, ready to be embraced by her dreams once more, waiting for the sun to rise once she wakes up from her slumber.

Xaizor and Marina: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Both of them woke up at the same time, screaming in equality. After that, only the birds were chirping as the sun radiated their room. Fast steps could be heard and soon the door of their room opened.


Jin: What happened?! Are you two alright?!

Marina: S-Sorry... I... just had a nightmare...

Xaizor: Me too... it was...

Jin: ...

Jin: Wait here. I'll bring you guys breakfast and see with Reimu if you can skip school today.

Xaizor: I-It's fine. We sorta need to go to school anyways.

Marina: Y-Yes. It will be fine, Mister Jin.

Jin: ... Alright, I won't insist. But just to be sure, I'm taking you two today.

They nodded in agreement. Jin went downstairs as they looked at each other, the nightmares haunting their minds.

Auror woke up at last. Everything was back to normal. He immediately put his hand in his heart as it began to beat fast.


Auror: A... nightmare. Shit... that was so...

Auror: ... I can't die. I won't die. Not until I do what I must.

Lilina: STOOOOOP!!

Heather: AAAAAAH!!

Her scream woke her mother up. They shared the room for the night, as Lilina wasn't permitted to leave.


Heather: Lilina, what happened?! Why did you scream like that?!

Lilina: S-Sorry, I... had a nightmare. It wasn't my intention.

Heather: I-I see... wow, I haven't heard you scream like this ever since you were just a young girl.

Lilina: Haha... is that so...

However, he was alone in the area. There was no one there.


Fuindor: A bad dream...? But... could this dream be...?

Rayla's phone was ringing. The girl quickly got up from her bed, startled with what had just happened, also trying to process what she just saw. However, the loud ringing of her cell phone was getting in the way.

Phone: **BRING**

Rayla: Sigh...Not one of my best nights...
Phone: **BRING**

Rayla: Alright already... (This early on the morning...it could be important.)

She answer the phone. On the other side of the line, was her cousin, Drake Celest Gold.

Music: Yasashii Oukoku

Drake: Hey...Good Morning Rayla...Been a while.

Rayla: T-That voice...Drake?
Drake: I take it you saw the news about my school.

Rayla: Y-Yeah...I saw a bit of TV when I was cleaning the house yesterday...What about it?
Drake: You see, I actually helped Barry with that incident...

Rayla knew where the conversation was going.


Rayla: Sigh...Bernard...I know you want to protect your younger brother...but you're taking it too far...
Drake: I knew you would understand...I'm glad you're not that mad at him.

Rayla: Drake...
Drake: This might be my last phone call...I had sure that it was for you.

Rayla: Why?
Drake: I want you to tell my friends that...it has been a blast...All those moments we had together were really fun.

Rayla: Hey...Why are you talking as if you're going to die...You're safe in there, remember?
Drake: You're right...but at the same time, I feel like I'm trapped in a cage that's too small for me. This feeling is...frankly worse than death for me.

The call ended. Rayla gritted her teeth as she stashes her phone in her pocket. Then, the girl left her room in a hurry, meeting Tiane on the corridor to the living room. She looked like she had the same nightmare as before.


Tiane: Hey...Bad night again?

Rayla: Kinda...but I'll tell you more later.

Tiane: Whoa! What's the hurry?

Rayla: Tell the others I'll be late for class.

Then, Rayla rushed towards the exit. Tiane tried to stop her, but the girl had already left home, running at full speed towards her Family's old home.


Rayla: (This is all my fault...It was because I was neglecting my duties for so long that this happened...)

Rayla: (I have to set my family back on track...Right now!)

Xaizor, Marina and Jin left the shrine and walked towards the school. Reimu agreed to have Jin accompany them, since having a nightmare could present some undesirable effect in the rest of the day.


Xaizor: ...

Marina: ...

Jin: Are you two really OK? I'm starting to get really worried...

Xaizor: Ah! Sorry, I was just distracted for a second...

Marina: As for me, the nightmare I had never left my mind even once.
Jin: Was it really horrible to let you guys down like this?

Marina: I would rather abstain from commenting it publically. We are not alone in the street, so we might tell you more back at the shrine.

Jin: Alright then, but you're telling me once we head back to the shrine, got it?

Xaizor: Fine... sheesh, I'm not even in the mood to train today...

Marina: I would do a sarcastic response, but I really need to rest my mind...

Both were completely lost in thought and were unable to think on anything else. However, out of nowhere, Jin kissed their foreheads, each at a time.


Xaizor: W-What the hell you're doing, dude?!

Jin: What? I always did this on Lumino when he was younger and it worked. He'd always calm down.

Xaizor: Ergh, c'mon! I'm not a kid anymore! Besides, that's a weird thing for you to be doing!

Jin: Uh... my bad. Instincts, I guess...

Marina: ... I have noticed that you do seem to be very fond of my father, Mister Jin. You were speaking his name quite a few times while you were sleeping.

Jin: No point in denying it. For me, your father was like a little brother I never had. I'd always play around and watch over him. His beaming smile and kindness are what always made my day.

Marina: I see. I believe Father will be very happy to see you again.

Xaizor: Still, that doesn't make us Dad and that was completely not cool!

Jin: I-I was just trying to help!

Marina: Well, it did help me. Thank you, Mister Jin. I feel a little calmer now.

Jin: It was nothing, Marina. I'm glad you're feeling less under the weather.

Xaizor: ... Well, it did distract me a bit, so I can't say it didn't work somehow. Still, that's not what's going to calm me down though.

Xaizor: I know! Since my mood's back a bit, you're training with me today, Jin!

Jin: Well, I got nothing against training, so it's fine for me! My regimen is hard, so I hope you can keep up!

Xaizor: I'll show you then! You'll be pale once we start!

Albeit weird, Jin's idea worked somehow. With Marina and Xaizor now distracted, the walk went far more calmer and they began talking about other topics.

Fuindor looked to the town at the very entrance of the Forbidden Forest. It was the home of many beastkin, but it's considered a haunted spot for the rest of the city. People who went inside were attacked by violent beastkin, all happening in secrecy and during the nighttime. With the number of disappearances growing, the town prohibited entrance to the forest, even to the authorities.


Fuindor: (Will there be a day where we can walk alongside humanity once more? If not, are we fated to live in secret until when?)
???: Hey, whatcha looking at?

Fuindor: GAH!! Get away!! *draws sword*

???: Whoa, whoa, calm down! Put that blade away, dude!

After a good night of sleep, Lizzy woke up and left the inn. She was rather tired of all the walking yesterday and rather bothered, but she still needed to do what she was instructed.


Lizzy: OK, so if I remember right, I need to go somewhere called "Hakurei Shrine"... right? I think that was the name but I'm hell as unsure as I can be.

Lizzy: But seriously, he could've explained more to me! I mean, for God's sake, throwing me into another world again?! I do owe him, but be more gentle! I'm a lady, not some sort of toy!

Lizzy: I don't even know where I am exactly in this town! ARGH, this is so FRUSTRATING!

She looked around to see if there was someone who could help her. However, there was no one at the street at the moment. She sighed and sat at one of the tables.


Lizzy: I hate my life... this is so annoyingly frustrating... all I want is to see Agni in peace. Is that so bad?

As she enters the room, she sees Theo conforting Kaori once more.


Himika: Y'know...If this keeps happening, I might actually thing you two really have something for each other.

Himika noticed the sorrowful expression in Kaori's face.


Himika: ...You guys aren't the only ones.

Himika: Some of our servants have been waking up in the same condition as you are right now.

Theo: (This can't be good. So there are more people being aflicted with nightmares.)

Himika: I'm not sure what's going on...but there's certainly a new incident going on.

Kaori: Even though we also had nightmares, we're still fine, so no need to sorry about us. (At least for now.)

Sheila lazily got up from her bed. She was allowed to stay at the mansion for one day, as she was worried with Kenneth's condition and wanted to be there in case something went wrong.


Sheila: (I get it stupid Nightmare, my past went down the ditch...can you play something else for me?)

She sighed heavily before picking up her coat as she left for the corridors, her destination being the room he in. Some of the maids that she passed through greeted her, which Sheila responded without much enthusiasm in her voice.


Marilee: Good Morning Sheila.

Sheila: Hi Lady Crimson.

Marilee: Wow...I thought sleeping in a bed after a long while would give you a better night, but I guess I was mistaken.

Sheila: The bed's got nothing to do with it...Just something else. Anyway, how is he doing?

Marilee: Same as yesterday. Even after we've managed to pump blood into him, he's still not reacting.

Sheila: ...

Marilee: Hopefully, it's just his body still recovering from the berserk state. Well, I won't bother you with reports right now, go an see how he is doing.

Jane wakes up to an unfamiliar ceiling. Getting up while inspecting the room, concluding that she was at a hospital. Then, she suddenly checked the area where she got shot, but couldn't feel any sort of bandages, or scars.


Jane: Wait...how...

Suzaku: Oh, good morning.

Jane: YAH!!!

She almost fell off her bed, startled with Suzaku's sudden appearance.


Suzaku: Whoops! Did you wake up just now? Sorry about that.

Jane: I-It's okay...

Suzaku: The name's Suzaku! I work with rehabilitation. I'm here to check out on someone and I'll be out in a minute, so don't mind me.

Jane: Okay.

The girl watched the doctor talking with someone who was reading a magazine, while at the same time, she was reflecting back on the events of the previous day, imagining Tsuya's reaction to her getting shot.


Jane: (He probably went on a nasty rampage...Tsuya...I hope you're okay...)

Miolina: Ah~! Another morning where the sun shines brighly!!!

Pairah: In my case, it's just sapping my health instead...

Miolina: This is the time where you have to lift up your spirits, or else you'll certainly won't enjoy the day.

Then, Pairah notices someone from afar, running at high speeds. It was Rayla. The mere sight of the girl was enough to Pairah to charge in at full power.

Rayla: Huh?

Pairah: THIS IS PAYBACK!

While initially startled, Rayla easily dodged Pairah's attacks and punched her away.


Rayla: (What was that all about? Her attack were so filled with so much blind anger, it is as if she was asking me to defeat her...Wait, haven't I met her before? She said something about payback.)

Miolina: Hey, if it isn't Rayla! You look like you're in a hurry. I apologize for the behavior of my friend.

Rayla: Yeah whatever, I don't have time to waste on you.

Miolina: Oh, in that case, talk to you la-

Rayla: Wait, you know Detective Hiagor right?

Miolina: Yes, what about him?

Rayla: Tell him to meet me at the Guild later on.

Rayla then, kept running. Meanwhile, Pairah had returned, but noticed that Rayla wasn't there anymore.

Miolina: (Now that I think about it, summer is going to be hell with her outbursts...)

As they walked to the school, a loud laughter could be heard from the distance. On a street going on a different direction, there was a strange man in the middle of the street, while people walked around.


Xaizor: What's with that laugh? And who's that dude right there?

Marina: Perhaps something is going on over there. We should check it out, just in case.

BGM: Team Skull Leader

Xaizor, Marina and Jin approached the man laughing at the street. He lookd at them and beamed an evil smile.


???: Whatcha lookin' at? Can't ya see I'm busy here?

Xaizor: What the hell are you doing, laughing like a maniac in the middle of a street?

???: Imma eatin' stuff here, brat. Now scram!

Marina: Eating? What do you mean "eating"?

Jin: Hold on a second... these people are all like this and this guy is here... are you a Nightmare?!

???: Crikes, got found out... shit, I wasn't expecting some nobody would know 'bout this?

Marina: Are you devouring people's dreams?! How dare you!
???: Gotta do what it takes to survive, girlie. I thrive on this shit, you get it?!

The small Nightmares that attacked the shrine yesterday rose from the street. The man grabbed his megaphone and screamed loud at their direction. Suddenly, the monsters all began to twist and twirl, growing berserk and charging at Xaizor, Marina and Jin with fierce attacks.


Xaizor: *defends attacks* What the hell?! How are they so strong?!

Jin: It must have something to do with that guy! He might have powered them up!

Marina: *casts Aeroga around them* We must do something and fast!

Location: Summer Area - Streets

Mia was doing a patrol before she could go to school. As she walked in the Summer Area, she noticed how hopeless people seemed.


Mia: No matter how much I walk, the people seem dread and without ebergy. What could be doing this state of affairs?

As she walked, distracted with the people, she bumped on someone.


Mia: Ah, my apologies!

Fuindor: N-No, it's fine! I wasn't looking where I was going anyway.

Mia: I see. Are you a high school student? Shouldn't you be in school now?

Fuindor: Y-Yes, I study on Kanzakai, but it's closed off today.

Mia: I've heard about the attack yesterday. I wish I've gone there to help, but I was unable to.

Fuindor: I-It's fine, I guess. Well, I should be going then.

However, before Fuindor could leave, Mia suddenly jumped on him and evaded an incoming danmaku bullet. When she saw, Doremy floated right at them.


Doremy: I thought walking in another area of the town would guarantee no one would interrupt me. Alas, I was wrong.

Mia: You... you are from the attack yesterday!

Doremy: I don't remember seeing you there, but I guess you do know about me somehow. Would you kindly let me eat that boy's dreams, please?

Fuindor: Eat my dreams?! What the hell are you talking about?!

Doremy: You see, I need to eat human dreams for survive. I've eaten quite a few for the morning, but you two were the only ones which I haven't feasted on yet.

Mia: Honestly, all that you have been saying makes no sense, but I will make up for the mistake and have you arrested for the attack yesterday!

Doremy: If you wish to disturb me, I will satisfy myself with your dream then!

Doremy shot danmaku at Mia and Fuindor once more. She activated Aegis and shielded both of them before the magical bullets could hit them.


Mia: You there. I sense aura flowing within you. You know how to fight, don't you?

Fuindor: M-Me? I do, but-

Mia: Then I'll request that you aid me. That, and I hardly believe she will not go after you as well.

Fuindor: Oh, right! If that's the case, let's go!

Fuindor transformed and took his blade out. Once the shots ceased for a moment and got out of cover.


Fuindor: I have something else to do, but if you want a fight, you have one, you freak!

Mia: As a knight, I shall not let you harm the civilians! Prepare yourself!

Reeta was heading towards the kitchen, being accompanied by four kids that were holding her hands and clinging close to her.


Amara: Good Morning everyone!

Reeta: Good Morning Lady Amara.

The kids also greeted Amara, but with way less enthusiasm.


Amara: My, my...Did something happen?

Reeta: Aparently, they had a nightmare. They were crying when I was passing by their room. I entered to see what's happened and comforted them for a while.

Amara: It was probably something nasty, judging by their mood.

Reeta: Yeah...Hey guys, Lady Amara with stay with you now. I need to hurry up or I'll be late for school.

The kids instead stays even close to Reeta.


Reeta: Um...

Amara: I'm guessing that right now, they feel safer by your side, since you've comforted them. I guess getting late for school just this once won't hurt.

Chizuru: She left a while ago, said that she was going to walk around the city.

Sister Bell: I see...Should've known as much. Well, knowing her, she didn't want to wait for Miss Marcia to come here and decided to pass the time somewhere else.

Chizuru: Are you going to Central Unitia today?

Sister Bell: Yes, but not at the usual time. Since Sister Fear isn't here, I guess I'll just go eat breakfast now while wait for Mister Haken to wake up.

Chizuru: Alright then. In that case, I hope you have a nice day.

As Kail entered the place, he saw Larissa heading towards the exit.

Rayla suddenly picks up the guard and throws him at his partner, knocking them both out.

Then, she runs up on the wall and goes over it, entering the place. Of course, she was received with a bunch of guards pointing guns, swords, knives and spears at her.


Rayla: I won't judge you guys for doing your job...But I'll be passing through!!!

The guards let out a battlecry, charging at Rayla. But then, someone suddenly "appeared" between them and Rayla.

???: STOP!

Guards: !!!

Rayla: Ah!

???: You won't stand a chance. Rayla is not someone you'll be able to take down. Leave this to me.
Guard: But...

???: Do you want me to make a demonstration of how this is going to go? Because I will if you don't...stay...BACK!

The guards decided to watch from afar, knowing how dangerous the fight that was about to begin.

Seila suddenly vanished from everyone's view. As an Ancestor Mage from the Lilly Yellow Family, Seila combines her extreme speed with a family style that uses two swords, attacking with precise and dance-like movements.

As Seila appeared behind Rayla however, she had to force herself to block an incoming punch, the force of the impact sending her to a nearby wall, although not quite reaching it, thanks to Seila blocking the attack.


Seila: Urgh...

Rayla: Owch...You've got some sturdy swords.

Seila: They have to be...otherwise, they would break easily the moment I had to use them. They are as unbreakable as my will to protect you. If you can't surpass me, then you have no hope of reaching Cousin Bernard.

Rayla: If I can't break it, then I'll just have to get around it. There are other ways to pierce a defense y'know.

Seila: I'm aware...

Rayla: Then stop with the boasting and give me actions instead! So far, your speed failed to impress me.

Knowing that sneak attacks wouldn't work anymore, Seila took a stance, then ran at Rayla with blinding speeds, throwing dozens upon dozens of slashes in an instant, while blocking and dodging Rayla's counterattacks. From an outsiders perspective, they could barely see what was going on, only the lound sounds of Rayla's fists clashing against Seila's swords in quick sucession. Some of the guards even decided that the distance they were from the fight still wasn't safe enough and left the area instead.

Kaito, Lucent and Kiragi reached Reeta, Lady Amara and the some of the kids. The rest of them were accompanying the trio.


Kiragi: Good morning, everyone!

Kaito: We went to fetch Kiragi and the rest of them said they had bad nightmares. We comforted them, so they're more calm now.

Lucent: (They're all being affected at a fast rate... the Nightmares are growing out of control. I need to do something...)

Kaito's cellphone started ringing. He picked it up and saw it was Xaizor calling him.


Kaito: Hey, Xaizor. What's up, man?
Xaizor: Dude, we need you and Lucent here. There's a Nightmare attacking us here!

Kaito: What?!
Xaizor: I'm not joking! He's calling a bunch of the smaller ones, but they're all powered up! I'm with Marina and Jin, but we need your help and fast!

Lucent: ...! Kaito, give me the cellphone!

Kaito: A-Alright! Hold one a bit, Xaizor!

Kaito quickly passed the cellphone to Lucent.


Lucent: X-Xaizor? I-It's me, Lucent!
Xaizor: Hey, man! I know you might not be all better yet, but we're in a pickle here!

Lucent: I-It's fine... listen, how does the Nightmare look? Can you tell me?
Xaizor: Eh?! Uh... tall guy! He's blonde and, uh... looks like some character! And he has a megaphone!

Lucent: (Blonde and a megaphone...? Could it be...?!)
Xaizor: Shit, they're coming! Come quick! We really need your help right now!

Xaizor turned the call off. Lucent looked at the phone and remembered his promise with the rest.

Lucent: Lady Amara, I promise I'll explain later, but I... I'm skipping breakfast!

Kiragi: W-Where are you going, Big Bro Lucent?

Lucent: There's a Nightmare attacking in the town. I'm going to stop it.

Kaito: You're not going alone! I can fight now, so I'm going too!

Lucent: ... I won't be able to do it alone. I was attacked yesterday and I didn't manage to heal entirely yet.

Lucent: And even if I said "no", you would come too, right?

Kaito nodded, with a proud smile. Kiragi was going to raise an idea of him going, but he remembered Lady Amara prohibited him from leaving the orphanage today because of his escape yesterday. At the very least, he could cheer on them.


Kiragi: Big Bros, do your best out there! I know you can do it!

Kaito: Thanks! Let's go, Lucent!

Kaito ran to the entrance. Lucent looked once more at Lady Amara.


Lucent: I... I know you didn't expect me doing this, but... it's something I need to do, Lady Amara. I'll explain everything, I swear. It's what I've been owing you ever since you took me in here and made this place my home. I'll ask that you wait just a little more, that's all!

After that, Lucent looked at Reeta.


Lucent: And I know that, deep inside, you don't want me fighting, Reeta. You and Kaito are the last people wanting me in danger. But you know my promise and that I need to fulfill it. I... I can't back out on my word with Rayla and the others.

Lucent: I'm sorry if I'm hurting you, but... I need to help them.

With those words said, Lucent ran after Kaito. He wanted to stop that Nightmare, or else things could get really dangerous.

After turning off the call, Marina's Aeroga dissipated and the fight kept going on. They returned to defend themselves, as the number of smalled Nightmares increased.


Xaizor: Goddamnit, they increased in number!

Marina: What are supposed to do now?! They are really strong!

???: You guys should call it quits and let me eat already. It's gonna be less painful.

BGM: Rumble Temple


Jin: Like hell I'm giving up! It'll take me a long time before I can ever call it!

???: Mate, no one likes the non-givers. They're such a pain in the ass.

Jin: Nice sob story, but I'm going to be a pain in the ass for as long as I can!

Jin: Magatama "Warding Blaze Circle"!!

Jin stood into meditating position as magatamas surrounded him and the Arcadia brothers. They began to spin quickly, forming a ring of blue flame around them. It expanded and burned every Nightmare currently surrounding them.


Xaizor: Whoa, nice!

???: The hell was that, dude?

Jin: There's more where that comes from!!

Jin shot the burning magatamas at the strange man, who jumped back in order to evade them. Soon, more Nightmares rose from the ground.


Marina: More of them are coming!

Xaizor: I've called Kaito and Lucent to help us. They might be on their way here!

Jin: If that's the case, we just need to hold them for a while. I'm game!

???: Nyeeeehahaha!! So, you guys just won't quit, huh? Fine! I'LL DEVOUR THE THREE OF YOU!!

The man screamed on his megaphone once more, powering up the Nightmares as they rushed on the trio. Jin, Xaizor and Marina returned to fight then, until Lucent and Kaito were to come.

Lilina and Heather went downstairs from their room to the main lobby. Kail was already there, so they decided to greet him.


Heather: Good morning, sir Kail. Are you doing well?

Lilina: G-Good morning, Kail... (I have a feeling Kail's a little angry with me for activating the Glaive when he said not to...)

Suddenly, electric bolts were shot at the nightmares, paralyzing them in place and gathering them in one point. Then, a explosive arrow was shot, destroying them.


Kalina: Brace yourselves, because the Thunderous Mama here and her valiant sidekick have arrived!

Tiane: W-What's with the intro?

They could hear the sound of someone cherring from the Kalina's car.


Tiane: Oh right...Erina.

Tiane: Anyway...wasn't expecting those creatures to show up on broad daylight...

Kalina: Meanwhile, I wasn't expecting to get into another fight so soon.

Tiane: I can already tell today is going to be intense. Actually, intense might be an understatement.

Kalina: I have the same feeling...which is why we need to keep pressing foward, no matter how intense it gets.

Intense electricity is made visible on Kalina's body while Tiane switches to her rapier, running foward to help the group.

Fear Mace makes herself known, annoyed that her passage was being blocked by Doremy's bullets.

Suddenly, Yoru Mizu shows up as well.


Yoru: I get a break from school and this happens...This is a sin punishiable by a merciless beating. Don't you agree, Sister?

Fear Mace: Hey Four Eyes, don't just assume I'm a nun because of the clothes...but yeah, we're bringing her down if she doesn't settle down.

Xaizor: He's powering up those things with his power. But now that we're together, we beat him and those Nightmares won't do a scratch!

???: Agito, what are you even doing...?

As the man, whose name was Agito, prepared to summon more demons, a portal appeared right next to him. A flying person came and looked at the group


???: I finished my portion already, shouldn't you be done with yours?

Veigas turned to the group. His prideful look made him feel as if victory was easy against them.


Xaizor: We're fighting a girl now? Damn...

Marina: You said you "ate your portion" earlier. What do you mean with it?

Veigas: I mean that humans lost their dreams to me. A lot of them!

Jin: You bastards!! Don't think you're getting away with this!

Veigas: This whole town is doomed to despair eternally. With the Vestal of Dreams gone, we can run rampart for as much as we want and nobody can stop us.

Marina: That is not true! We shall stop you, no matter what it takes!

Xaizor: We ain't letting you do as you goddamn please! You're getting beaten up right now!

Veigas: So you're saying you're opposing us. Is that it?

Jin: Yeah, that's the gist of it! Got a problem?!

Veigas' orb began to shine and it soon dispersed a lot of dark orbs around him. He shot them at the group's direction, but Marina casted a shield to protect them. Using the window of time given, Agito summoned another wave of smaller Nightmares.


Veigas: I. hate. people. who oppose me.

Agito: You guys are so damn screwed! We're beating you all to a pulp and then your dreams will be ours!

Agito screamed on his megaphone again, powering the Nightmares, Veigas and himself up. They all charged at Xaizor, Marina, Jin, Tiane and Kalina, with Veigas launching more dark orbs at them.

Location: Summer Area - Streets

BGM: Person who Conceives Frenzy

???: That is simple. It is only Nightmares doing what we must do to survive.

Doremy had already stopped shooting because of Fear and Yoru's arrival, but she didn't even answer the question. A burst of dark fire near her revealed someone else.


???: Good morning to you, Doremy. How has it been with your breakfast.

Doremy: Rather well, Rasel. I've managed to taste a lot of dreams this morning.

Rasel: That is good to hear. I have been tasting some delicacies myself and they were wonderful.

Rasel: But enough talk. We have enemies in front of us.

Rasel: Of course. Besides, facing resistant hosts are the best I could ever imagine for this morning. The thrills of it will please me even more when I devour their wishes away!

Fuindor: Another weirdo came in.

Mia: You both are being arrested here! Surrender or face the consequences!

Rasel: You have been shielding danmaku for the last minutes without attacking. Do you truly believe a puny human like yourself would ever be able to defeat us?

Fuindor: She's not alone in this. I'm here with her too, and with those other two as well!

Doremy: Pitiful, poor children. Any suggestions, Rasel?

Rasel: Let us devour and savor their dreams at once.

Rasel snapped her fingers and a wall of darkness separated the four of them. Doremy stood facing Fear and Fuindor while Rasel stood facing Mia and Yoru.


Rasel: Come then. Entertain me before I feast on your deepest hopes!

Doremy: I will swallow all of your dreams before you can even think of them!

Doremy dashed towards them, while summoning beds that flew at fast speeds towards Fear and Fuindor. Rasel called upon a fire rain and casted it above Mia and Yoru.
