A woman walked into the foyer of the Ministry of Military Affairs. When the receptionist looked up at the entrant, she expected someone official, perhaps wearing a uniform or a suit at least, but not anybody who looked so… Civilian. The woman worked a pair of tall black leather boots with heels, red skirt and a silver-white blouse underneath a black trench coat. She was a brunette, her hair trailing down and over her shoulders as it was tied behind her ears by a pink ribbon, and her face was notably young and pretty, as the receptionist noticed a beauty mark on her cheek.
She had an earbud in like a teenager who was listening to music on the go as she casually stepped up to the desk. When she approached, the receptionist realised upon closer inspection the beauty mark was, in fact, a small black tattoo of a heart below her chestnut-brown eyes. She immediately wondered what the woman, surely in her mid-twenties, could possibly be here for. “I’m Electra Heart, I’m here on behalf of these summons from Prince Nathaniel,” The woman introduced herself properly with the tone of a lady, despite her dress sense. She procured a folded letter from her satchel. The receptionist took the letter off her and to her surprise, she recognised the royal seal at the bottom with his signature.
“Ah yes, I see,” She replied as she investigated the letter. The rest of the summons simply stated the location and the time Electra was meant to arrive at. “Five minutes early, good. If you could wait just a moment, Ms. Heart…” Electra nodded with a smile. “Very well,” She replied, and she turned away as the receptionist picked up the phone. “You have a visitor here per your summons, sir; an Electra Heart?” The receptionist reported. She nodded. “Very well.” She put the phone down and looked to Electra. “He’s ready to see you, just head up the elevator to—” “The top floor, yes?” The receptionist looked surprised, so Electra clarified. “I imagine no less for the prince.” “Of course. The top floor, his office is straight ahead from the elevator.” Electra nodded her thanks and went on her way.
The elevator was a cased platform in a glass tube. Electra hit the VIP button and then leaned against the hand bar. She cast a gaze over her shoulder as the elevator ascended, looking over the city through the glass. She idly blew bubbles with her gum as the elevator hit stops along the way, picking up and dropping off military personnel and administrators every few floors. She focused her attention purely on the city, despite noticing the stares of others in the elevator reflected in the glass. Arsodus began to grow not distant, but smaller; as though Electra were moving up in the world. She smiled a little. Soon enough, as she neared the top floor, the last of the bystanders hopped off the elevator and it was just Electra now. The elevator dinged as it hit her destination, and Electra stepped through the opening doors.
Electra stepped straight ahead toward the prince’s office, further made obvious by the two bodyguards outside the door. Electra glanced to her left at the empty strategy room as she passed. When she neared the office, she slowed to a stop as the bodyguards eyed her down. “—This isn’t over, prince Nathaniel.” The door slid open and a military official stormed out of the office abruptly. He was a decorated general, evidenced by the high-ranking uniform and medals adorning his lapel. He stopped for a moment and looked Electra up and down, bewildered as to why she was here. Electra flashed a tiny smile, like a confident woman who knew where she was. The general scoffed and stomped past her, and Electra just shrugged smugly. After him, a richly dressed and rather handsome man stepped into the doorway and smiled at Electra. “Ms Heart I believe. Please, come in.” The prince beckoned.
As the door closed shut behind her and the prince took his seat, Electra took the seat in front of him without a prompt. “Let’s cut to the chase, shall we?” She began as she dug through her satchel. “Ah, a woman of business. I can appreciate—” “He’ll ruin everything we’ve built so far. We have to deal with general Roa immediately!” The voice of the general blared. The prince’s smile faded to a stern expression as he stared at the Electra’s phone as she held it out, a recording playing from a bug she had planted on the window. “I have a solution, but you must calm down general Isaacs.” The prince’s own voice joined in.
“Now… You probably wouldn’t want the rest of this conversation on the broadcasting network…” Electra spoke over the recording as it continued. “So, I think we should re-negotiate my fee before we talk about the contract; shall we?”
Without a doubt, Electra loved her job.
The Silvestia-Anavia War
Originating from its namesake capital Arsodus on the homeworld Paradicial, the Arsodian Empire was originally a federation of Paradicial's collective population. However, over the first century of the Arsodian Era, the Empire grew rapidly as it took to the stars. From one planet to another, colonising each star system and the next, the Arsodian Empire dominated the systems in the galaxy of Silvestia. As it explored the stellar frontier, the empire grew in its belief that it was a supreme force to be reckoned with.
This hubris took full root almost six centuries since the formation of the empire, when the first xenos were encountered in the neighboring galaxy of Anavia. When the Arsodian Empire encountered the Terran Republic, the current emperor, Arcturus Arsodian, considered the stellar nation to be notably smaller in dominion to that of the empire. Pairing that with their animal-like appearance, it was a foregone conclusion that the terrans were beneath humans. To that end, Emperor Arcturus submitted his demand for the republic to submit itself as a vassal to the empire.
The terrans refused. After all, they did not form a republic as their galactic government, just to be sworn in service to a power-hungry monarch. Seeing that they would not submit, Arcturus reflected and showed understanding for their sovereign independence. Instead, trade agreements were reached between the two powers, and for a time there was prosperity to be found. However, this amiable arrangement was violated, and the emperor's feint was revealed for what it was; despicable treachery.
He used the trade agreement to determine what planet served as a nexus for the republic's economy. And on the next shipment to that world, he ordered cataclysm bombs to be planted in the cargo. That world was Juvia VII, and in a sudden act of terror, the inhabitants of Juvia were obliterated by engineered earthquakes that unleashed fissures of fire. Barely a portion of the population survived. This was the beginning of the Silvestia-Anavia War.
Story
The year is 573 Arsodian Era (AE), two years since the beginning of the Silvestia-Anavia War. The Arsodian Empire of Man is embroiled still in its conflict with the xenos of the Terran Republic, with both sides engaged on all fronts over key star systems between the Silvestian and Anavian galaxies. It was believed that with their superior numbers and military command that the Arsodian Empire's Silver Legions would emerge victorious. But the battles rage on, with no end in sight.
Moreover, the stalemate has caused bursts of infighting among the Emperor's Silver Legions. The 7th Legion, under command of general Vincent Roa, has defected from the empire to become their own independent military faction. Using a Terran BlackOPs research complex as a hideout, general Roa has made his intent clear in a manifesto that the Emperor is weak, and only under Roa's command will the legions find victory. Rhetoric or not, there are signs of dissent among the higher ranks, and the Emperor has thin patience for treachery.
But all the other legions are engaged with the Terran armies currently, and no lost ground can be afforded. As a result, an Imperial Bounty has been placed on Vincent Roa; a rich reward of 200,000 credits for any who bring him in, alive. And, bonus payments for badges of the 7th Legion. It is with hope that, although the basest creatures of Arsodian society was to be trusted, Roa will be returned to face justice, and to secure the sensitive military intelligence from falling into Terran hands.
Unfortunately, the Emperor's concerns have not escaped the notice of the Terrans, as they in turn place their own bounty of equal reward, and hope, contrary to the Emperor's own, that Vincent Roa's intelligence will be in their possession and in turn victory over the Arsodian people.
Ironically, the thing both sides have in common are bounty hunters; the scum of the systems, whose moral compasses are only defined by the money lining their pockets. And what doesn't inspire cutthroat fanaticism than a really good payday? Because if you can count on a bounty hunter to be anything, you can count on them to understand that a reward is best enjoyed undivided.

I had it to my eyes in a past roleplay with a character having a mental breakdown/flashback marathon next to me for no reason when I just wanted to enjoy my coffee (honestly, I just glazed over it). Thinking about past sadness is fine, just don't dedicate more than a paragraph to it. But moreover, focus on what needs to be posted. Action over detail. If someone has already described something, don't repeat it in your post; notice it and just focus on your character's reaction. Essentially, just think about others you're roleplaying with when you write, yeah?
Races & Genetics
Humans The people of the Arsodian Empire are human, standing upright and speaking plainly as evolution had made them. No longer were they baser animals; they were sentient, and on top of the food chain. As a result, they had become a dominant force, and sought to hold their place as masters of the galaxy with their flat faces, firm limbs, and proper posture.
Terrans The people of a smaller but no less significant inter-stellar nation known as the Terran Republic, the terrans are xenos who come in all different forms as humans come in all different ethnicities. Terrans share in common that they are anthropomorphic; like humans, but not entirely so. Though they look like animals, they share a level of sentience and intelligence that humans thought were solely theirs to command. Terrans come in so many different forms, but the most common among their populace are equines, vulpines, lupines, felines and reptiles, even dragons who are the essence of human fables.
Naturals Naturals, named solely for their natural birth, have only the capabilities given to them by their parents and chance. However, this does not make them lesser, and only credits their perseverance and hard work when it pays off. That they can say they accomplished everything that they have without any amount of gene-modification or psionic treatment, and often are the more level-headed beings on the genetic spectrum.
Coordinators / Modtypes Always striving for more, to be better, to be stronger, to be faster; this is the dream. Genetic sciences had the answer to that dream. By genetically editing children before their birth, not only were parents able to control the child they had, but they were also able to enhance them. As a result, these beings were subject to superior strength, endurance, and reflexes, giving them a head start at a life that might throw much at them. As a result of messing with these genes, however, these genetically-enhanced individuals will often face stigmatisation from naturals, and are prone to intensified emotions such as anger or sadness in stressful situations.
Innovators / Newtypes Psi-potent individuals who have been treated through psi-rich gases or hallucinogens that induce a trance-like state. As a result, the individuals gain a grasp over psionic power, at the price of addiction to the gases that made them. And sometimes, they have to be conditioned to supress emotions, as it can cause their power to go out of control. However, with control they have nigh-limitless potential; reading minds, making liminal suggestions across distance, create shields of energy, or even subjecting others to designed illusions are among the more basic powers at their disposal. There are rumours and theories of the possibility of 'natural' born individuals with psionic powers. However, it is believed that while they might not need psionic gases to use their abilities, they would suffer if they were not taught how to tame their emotions and in turn, control their powers.
Bio-Weapons There is a point on the genetic spectrum where it is no longer just enhancement. It is at that point there are beings who have been twisted, shaped into instruments whose existence is for war. Whether they are made at birth in test tubes or forged from broken naturals or even gene or psi-enhanced individuals seeking more power: when they become more machine than organic; when they are cybernetically modified for inhuman strength or unreal psionic power; or even when they become something that no longer resembles human or terran, is when they become bio-weapons.

And-- You guessed it, a black leather-mesh vest, which I can clip on my front here to account for my wings, see? I don't like standing out much.
As for combat gear, I usually strap on bits and pieces of combat armour that are resistant to both ballistic and beam damage. I just carry my carbine on a strap that un-clips so it's easier to use. I also wear a belt which has spare magazines and batteries strapped to it, as well as my pistol holsters on both sides, with my short sword sheaths hanging over my tail in an x-shape. Just a whole lotta black and gray, really..."

Weapons: What weapons are you carrying? "I keep myself pretty armed... I normally carry a combat carbine with select fire for most combat situations, and two semi-automatic pistols as back-ups-- All of them customised, by the way! If I run out of ammo, or just get tangled in melee, I rely on my dual beam short swords, which I can use as ordinary blade weapons if I want to save on charge."
Physical Abilities: State your capabilities. "As you may know, sir, I'm genetically modified from birth. But it was supposed to be the process they offered to the public, so my parents didn't know that I was genetically enhanced. Put next to natural terrans, I'm physically stronger, faster, more durable and able to react to situations sooner. I can't say I feel like a genius, just that I can come up with a plan in less time and under pressure, so for the most part, my enhancement is mostly physical. Most of the enhancements aren't overt though, I can't exactly lift mountains, I can just do more than the average Terran. The only outright advantage I have is a… Spatial awareness, like a sixth sense. And it has kept me alive more than once.
But that's all just the stuff I am. My years with the military gave me plenty of combat training. I'm well-versed with my carbine and pistols, I'm accomplished both as a combat sniper and assault soldier, especially in urban combat scenarios. I've been in plenty of conflicts to be good at switching from one weapon to the next pretty quickly. I'm able to use two weapons at once, whether it's dual pistols or dual shortswords, pistol and shortsword, you name it, I got it. And, well… If I really need to, I can also breathe fire like any other dragon."

Well, I used to be anxious; a little worried about screwing up. My brother taught me though that it gets easier once you confront the problem and overcome it. Seven years on, I'd say I'm pretty laid back. Any jokes I make about dying are just black humour on my part, I'm past my depression at the moment, and I hope this hiatus on sadness lasts a long time. I guess you can say I'm pretty hopeful too, like… Positive? Yeah, danger doesn't 'really' phase me. All in all, I'm just happy lil' survivor, ya know?"
Background: Briefly tell us your story up to this point. "Briefly huh? Well, I was born to two loving parents who lived in the suburbs. I had a brother-- Axel, he was two years older than me. You know how genetic modification was offered to the public, right? My parents did that with me.
That's why my eyes have an amber glow. Mom really liked amber, and that's the most they wanted with me. They didn't want me to be too different from my brother, so that he wouldn't feel jealous. And, he always looked out for me, so I'm glad for that. But I guess I could've been the one looking out for him.
See, the scientists that handled my genes decided to play with physically enhancing me, as part of a military project. They obviously didn't ask for consent because my parents had no idea, maybe a clue when I ignored getting bonked on the head by a table that fell over.
Ah. But you wanted this to be brief. You also probably know about the terrorist movement, Terra-Natural, right? I was 14 when they rampaged through the residential areas, dragging out families who had kids who were like me. Our parents hid us in the attic when they came for us. If Axel hadn't held his arm around my mouth, they would've found us after they… After the gunshots.
We couldn't stay there after that day. A week after when we'd been to the funeral, we packed what we needed, locked up the house, and said goodbye to home. Axel signed up with the military looking to be a peacekeeper, and after a bit of hesitation, I did the same. I thought they'd think I was too young, and not enough. I was surprised when they let me in. I found out later about the project that made me, which was probably why they put me into the Black Ops division instead.
Before I left on deployment, I met up with my brother… I was so scared back then, I broke down in front of him, and maybe a few other people. But he just smiled and told me to give it my all. And that, when I turned 21, we could go to the bar together after deployment. He gave me the watch that day, before saying goodbye.
I'm 21 now, and I go to the bar from time to time whenever I manage 'not dying'. I still wish that he might show up, you know? But he was killed by the same terrorists that killed my parents, during that insurgency three years ago. I got back from a covert operation when I found out. Not the best news to get during a homecoming.
Anyways, five years with the military, doing clandestine ops just because I'm good at it, and I gave it up... Just before a full blown war. Good timing. Now I'm here, hunting bounties. That's my story, at least."
Roleplay Sample: We'll just need some verification. The bar was loud. Ear-splitting. Or maybe that was just because he had a bit to drink? No, no way. It was definitely ear-splitting. Xioxas looked up from his drink grumpily at the young adults in the pub. Sure he was only a year or two older, but he wasn't the one putting shit music on. That's what the ear-splitting. Not the screaming civilians on the dance floor, doing their club circuit on a Friday night, but the music: it was a horrifyingly gritty mess of beats, and it made Xioxas wish he had talent with a musical instrument to put those beats to shame. Or at least, for himself anyways. Everyone else in the pub probably have a different concept to what was 'good music'.
He leaned on the counter as he looked out at the dance floor, so filled with mist and flashing coloured lights. He took a sip of whiskey, judging what he saw out there. Terrans of all kinds, a dragon here, a wolf there, a couple of fox ladies sticking together. All of them drunk and probably high to be dancing the way they were, sweaty and unaware messes. But they looked happy. Like they were having fun. That's what Xioxas appreciated, and he bore the risk of going deaf for witnessing people happy while they still can be. War wasn't on their doorstep, and that was something enough to be pleased with. He stared back into his drink, and sighed.
It's not here yet, at least.

So I'm gonna sound like a bit of an asshole here... But you realize Terra is the Latin word for Earth, right? Calling an inter-stellar species Terrans makes no sense. It would be the humans that should be called Terrans.
I also had difficulties following the outlined plot, since you bombard us with names in the first few sentences without really setting up who or what they are. Might be a good idea to make a small section before the plot outlining who the factions are and what their goals are. Unless this is base on a franchise or something and I just missed that, in which case it probably makes sense to the fans.
And one final note, coming from a graphic designer, your signature text could really use some contrasting outline. Yellow on a white background isnt the easiest on the eyes.

Okay, I'll humour you. So am I supposed to also change 'bounty hunters' and call them 'morally bankrupt people finders' because bounty hunters is literally a profession in Star Wars? I'll confess, I'm being a little lazy in not coming up with a big alien name for these xenos. But I wanted to have human and terran feel remotely parallel, even if anything else physically about them are different.
Fine, it is weird. But I don't want to change it because I have decided on it for a reason, and I'll stick by it.

Still, to excel in the Emperors Legions and even live through the brutal shit show on Cavella you gotta be: -Resourceful and Cunning -Tough, strong and fit -And Highly proficient at the former bit of “Kill or be Killed”
Reaction time? Keep those numbers low rookie, heh. I sometimes wonder how so many un-moded soldiers got outa there alive. I’m officially classified as a Coordinator yes, though in my case as far as I can tell it seems to lend me more acuity. Particularly so in the middle of a battle, unsurprisingly when shit hits the fan if it hasn’t already. I’m far more fit than many I served alongside and commanded, also I’ve been quite good at long term deployments as far as metabolism goes so there might be something there.
For most of my life, I’d tell you that I got all the good bits for free. But ever since I recovered enough to strike out on my own, I feel like it may be my past that’ll do me in far sooner than any adversary I’ll have too face. Still trying to work out the pattern, but I’ll have to concentrate on my mind more so when things get stressful.
The docs had a lotta trouble with me before I left, but I guess I'll have to take care of myself from now on.

Personality: I’m a tough motherfucker! Though of course I’d say that aye? Erm, in all honesty I would describe myself as perhaps a bit of a reserved person, able to have a dig anyone and almost anything. That includes myself. You gotta be able to give yourself shit sometimes I think, loosen up and maybe see some humor in a bad situation, have a laugh too even? Prevents an ego too I suppose. Got a few odd or shocked looks from people who hear the shit I say about myself sometimes but it’s all in jest.
I don't take kindly to bullshit. Especially after what I've been through and what I've swallowed in my life. I'm talking about propaganda and lies...haha! Sniffing it out can be difficult, discerning fact from fiction and finding reality buried under layers of lies. But I'm learning, and if I find out I've been deceived...there is no second chance.
I’m someone who likes a close friend or few though I’ve had little chance to develop many close friendships my whole life. Yeah I have hobbies or passions sure but, those haven’t been important for a long time.
I reckon I’ll ride this out for awhile and find somewhere I belong. Maybe get away again, this time for good.
Background: An only child and born to a moderately successful mother and father, Leonardo (or Leo), like countless other youths was swept up and indoctrinated by the Arsodian Empires formidable propaganda machine at a young age and bought wholesale its ideals, supposed greatness and superiority. He dreamed of joining the Silver Legions and spent a significant portion of his youth preparing to join the military, usually at the expense of leisure and social activity.
Turning 20, Leo joined up and served loyally for 6 years with a high degree of patriotism and fanaticism that would rapidly draw the attention of his superiors. He enjoyed a number of promotions and medals, yet it was here that the first cracks began to form in his spirit and beliefs, though he suppressed them well. To him at least, military service wasn’t all it was cracked up to be and as he moved up through military command he began to gradually peek through the proud and shinning façade the Empire had sold him, revealing hints of corruption and cruelty.
It wasn’t long after receiving his 4th field promotion that the Silvestia-Anavia War broke out and they transferred him to the 7th Silver Legion, to serve under the command of General Vincent Roa. In the opening months the initial deployments and flurry of interstellar warfare settled down and began to slowly morph into the grinding and brutal slogfest that few could have predicted. However, he continued to serve loyally and effectively believing in the cause. The Arsodian Empire would make a breakthrough he knew, and the war would be won. Like countless others he was inspired by Roa’s cunning and tactical mind, by his decisiveness and at times, brutality. Over time that unwavering loyalty had secretly faltered and through his experiences in the 14 long months of large-scale intergalactic warfare suppressed feelings and doubts festered.
Now 26, he then took part in what would become known as the Cavellan massacre in a strategic Terran Rim system. Leo left that blasted and god-forsaken rock with the remnants of the 7th,8th and 13th Silver Legions a shattered and ruined man. He was removed from active duty while he recovered, though the day he returned to active duty would never come.
Near the end of his recovery General Roa and his legion along with any others loyal to his cause defected from the Arsodian Empire, fleeing to a then unknown corner of space as he released his damning manifesto. Though Leo’s body and mind would recover well enough to serve, but it was his faith and personal relationship with the Arsodian Empire that could never be restored. For Leo, the veil had been lifted from his eyes and he saw his life, the Arsodian Empire, the Terrans and their great war for all that it was.
As soon as he was able Leonardo too, disappeared.
Feeling broken and betrayed by his empire and with little sense of identity nor a feeling of place within Arsodian society Leo soon turned to a life of solo freelance crime, quickly finding his niche in either the protection or elimination of targets both of Arsodian and Terran descent across the stars.
Roleplay Sample: Leo took his first sip of whiskey for the evening without averting his gaze from the dull blue glow of a burner tablet, sifting through unending information streams like a fisherman trawling in an endless and lifeless ocean. “Work?” The barman inquired, briefly relieving Leo from his trance like state. “Light,” Leo replied slowly. He finished his whiskey and shunted the glass back across the bar.

Actually Ray, I’ve got work to do.” After overpaying he spun on his heels, catching a half-grin from Ray and then vanished in the evening night air.

Name: Feraî Amkar Age: 31 earth years Race: Netixel - A smaller humanoid with wide feathered wings, four horns and a griffin like tail. The feet are clawed like that of a dragonian/dragonborn(D&D) and their hands are three fingered one thumbed, equipped with sharp claws. Their face has a line of feathers lining the eyes (on the cheekbones) and on the nose ridge, fading in to the hair. Gray-skinned, usually very dark and in some cases black and yellow speckles on the face and horns. Genetics: Natural - She did go through 3 treatments, which enhanced her capabilities during a rage. However she's not fully a newtype. Appearance: Feraî is a small being. Her skin is brighter than that of the common Netixel,a fair ashy gray, and her eyes are a bright-nearly white yellow color. Her wings are a specklede bright gray- to darker gray color, as well as her tail-feathers. And her facial feathers are only slightly darker than her skin-tone. Her hair is tied back in to dreads, and her horns are long, however the right main one is broken. Her lean body has been marred in her short time of life and she has many scars, burns and marks from a troubled past. She carries herself with pride, and while she doesnt have tattoos, the brilliant golden speckles on her horns, face,hands and tail-tip make her a notable figure. Ominous yet vibrant.

Physical Abilities: Agile, Swift, yet still able to take a beating. She has high endurance and nimbleness. She can see in the dark, yet her weakness lies in daylight as her sensitive eyes take on too much light and in her muteness. Her silence is golden, but also a blade to her life, as deals seldom are brokered with those unable to communicate clearly. Feraî’s incredible tolerance for pain and her ability to stay cool in heated situations makes her the optimal Assassin. However, her temper, once aggravated is what leads her to get in to sticky situations.

Personality: She's cold, but proud. Feraî has been through a lot, and she is a pure survivor. When emotion overcomes her, it’s expressed in anger or violence rather than sobbing or apathy. In heated situations however, she appears to have calculated her movements beforehand, and she's a tough nut to break. Rarely has anyone ever come to call her a friend, and she has rarely ever considered another of equal worth enough to be considered friend. Perhaps this is a result of being a vagabond for so long, and in the profession of murder.
When on her own, and with time on her hands, she meditates. It seems contradictory for an explosive personality to be able to be seated in silence, but then again what sound could the mute one make? Better learn to like it, and appreciate the voices of her own mind.
Background: Feraî is the typically rumoured Netixel. Thievish, grim, and loud in action. Or so to speak, as she’s a mute, one of the reason she's been badly hurt multiple times in her past, mostly done to her by her own kind.
Born in the Netixel clan of Akren, in the temperate landscapes she was fostered to become a hunter, a warrior. However, the harsh treatment and exclusiveness made her turn isolated. This, not uncommon for netixels, made life harsh and her inability to communicate clearly made her choose to leave those lands.
Since then she’s been a vagabond, taking on jobs she can get in the shadier parts of towns, and slowly she built up a reputation as a most effective and entrusted assassin and thief. There was barely any place which Feraî couldn’t access, no person she couldn’t execute, and rarely any missions she declined.
A few times, she’s gotten in over her head. But still she’s completed her task, and then demanded double as the risk wasn’t fully disclosed by the employee. If they declined, she’d go after them too. It was such a case that landed her in one of the worse prisons she's experienced.
Through a couple of years of torture and with the ever looming threat of execution, Feraî was one of the lucky few who were chosen to undergo one of the testing treatments for Psionic enhancement. Against her will, but according to plan, she allowed herself to undergo one or two treatments with the intent of making them believe it worked, while she figured out a plan of escape. Not too long after the third treatment was started, Feraî's plan took action as one of the other subjects reacted badly (as she'd done the first time) to the toxin and caused a ruckus.
Utilizing the distraction she was quick to execute her plan of escape, and since then she's kept on the low side until the call for blood came to her once again. Back to the contracts she went, and now she's again an established Bounty-hunter playing for both sides.
Roleplay Sample:From Pandoras Ineritance (with HeySeuss) Having kept to herself during the ride for the most of the time, with the occasional checkup by Cutter, Daina thought about the development of the situation. It was true what they had been talking about from time to time, that their vehicle was becoming more of a target the more time they spent on it. What worried Daina the most was how to get on with her life now that she was free. She was hunted and she couldn't really trust anyone aside from the other Emergents in the same situation as her. So when they crossed into Utah, she knew that she had to bring the question up, and moved up to the others.
"When we dump the bus, is it wise to stick together, or should we split up again? Finding a vehicle for the 11 of us will definitely be difficult, and the crowd may be suspicious.." she said. Then it dawned upon her. Even if most of them could pretend not to be Emergents, Daina's talon feet, and Simon's horns and tusks were near impossible to hide. They would definitely not be able to pretend to be normal, because of their physical appearance. “Not that me and Simon won’t be suspicious anyway..”
She sighed. She was scared, like the others, and she still didn’t know what use her talons were, aside from the strong grip they provided her with. Her wound was still trying to heal, but it was slow and still hurt, and she had noticed lumps on her back. And now, she couldn’t even be guaranteed food, or some relative safety. Perhaps it had been better to stay at Nellis.
Cutter spoke up with a dry voice. “I believe that we should stick together. Daina and Simon can’t publically display themselves without being noticed, and if we ever get into a situation where we had to pretend to be normal, they would be the first ones taken out. “She paused then looked at Daina with a spark in her eye. “We could use that to our advantage. Depending on how the town looks, and if we have to take the resort of stealing another bus, they could act as an distraction, until we get what we want, and then we’d come after them.”
“A distraction!?” Daina was surprised to have even heard what she heard. To be a distraction would put her at risk, and perhaps even force her to death if unlucky! And here she had thought all the time that they were allies.
“I refuse to be a target” Simon joined her with his deep voice. “We just got out from prison and I don’t have any plans on going back any time soon.”
“Oh, no. Me neither. Nu-huh.” Daina said, frustrated and confused by the thought of being captured again. Only a few seconds earlier she had let the thought pass her that staying at Nellis was a Good idea. Now she felt the complete opposite.

Bounty hunters, like mercenaries, are actually "licensed" to break the law, so long as their illegal activities lead to the fulfillment of official bounties and contracts put out by the government. When they fulfill their obligations, the maximum fines applied to their crimes are subtracted from their final payout. Ideally, mercenaries and bounty hunters complete their jobs without breaking the law where they can so they get as much money back as possible, but when push comes to shove...
Okay after much agony and discussion with Andre, I have amended the sound of my Gauss Rifle after realizing the "Crack!" I initially put doesn't really capture what it would/should sound like very well.
I changed it too a "Pvew" in my post. Also threw in a clip that pretty much nails it. Except for how clunky and noisy the reloading sound is, ignore that part.
The Earth shakes and releases a spout of heated magma from a volcano, which forms into someone interested into this roleplay because of the fact it had been directed by @The Jest.
It was a bit dramatic of an entrance to this roleplay, but dramatic asides you can tell whom I got the knowledge of this existing. I will be working on my profile soon, since I have decided on the character I will be using. Therefore, that's always a good step in the right direction. My mind is full of so many things so its quite literally needed to think over that one little detail. I'll put my character sheet below this paragraph because that seems reasonable instead of using another OOC post to do that.
Hey @Landaus Five-One@Smike! Glad to have your interest! As for roles, it depends as since this is a PvP-encouraged roleplay (you're all competing against each other to score a payday). But, we have a fair share of Human and Terran/Other characters, mixed bag of Genetically-Enhanced / Psi-Potent, and I have a secret Bio-Weapon character I'm going to reveal when we reach the facility where our target is.
