Jade Schneider

The young girl was still trying to process the means by which somebody is suddenly made beautiful because their parent finally decided that they love them enough to be responsible. Yet it was one of many things in her life recently that made absolutely no sense, even with the friendly spirits trying to explain the whole claiming to her. It still struck Jade as completely strange, but something that she decided she would simply write off as odd magic Gods shit.

Then there was the sudden sounds of thunder, and Jade just about jumped fifty feet up into the air. There hadn't been any sounds of a storm rolling in mere moments ago, yet they were suddenly in the middle of one!? However the truth behind the sudden storm was soon revealed. It was Zeus, king of the Gods claiming his child. That was neat and all, but Jade was worried about why he had to be so flashy, and judging by the myths shouldn't there be at least five hundred Zeus kids around?

@BlueSky44@Morose "Oh yeah some shit is totally going to be coming down very soon, I think Gaia and Kronos were the last baddies in the last few years, I wonder who it is now." Theresa said, as she looked at the storm clouds once more just as they started to fade now, she was curious who the kids were, and then looked towards Leda for a moment and smirked slightly. "You forget i'm the daughter of Aphrodite so, I could just simply Charmspeak you to tell me if I wanted." Theresa said jokingly, she of course was also known for using it to get whatever she wanted from other campers from time to time as well, she then looked back at the camp. "Anyway i'm gonna go see what the whole commotion is about, I might have a half sister or something anyway."

@KazAlkemi "You can certainly have fun frolicking with all of the nymphs if you'd like i'd rather stay nice and dry." Rosie said as she shook her head slightly towards Zeke, as she went back to doing what she was doing now, as she looked out towards the cabins. She had decided to get up now and get ready for dinner as well. "Anyway going to go get changed, you have fun there." Rosie said as she waved goodbye towards Zeke as she started to make her way back towards the Cave of the Oracle, the nymphs though watched Zeke, they didn't do anything to him and left him alone pretty much.

Four Hours Later..

The last person to be claimed by their godly parent was Kiera as the symbol of Poseidon appeared over her head. Chiron was pretty troubled now that there were children of the Big Three were all there now, but he didn't show much as he helped everyone get situated in their cabins. And they were also shown all around the camp as well, he told them all the activities that the camp had, and what they would be able to learn from archery, sword fighting, military tactics, and some classes that were held at the camp as well.

Ash and Arthur were given Cabin Thirteen, Andy had Cabin One to herself, and Cabin Three was all to Kiera as well while Desdemona had been given to Cabin Ten, where her half brothers and sisters all seventeen of them greeted her, Theresa was there and helped Desdemona. She was of course given a clean set of clothes with the camp's orange T-shirt and logo on it, though the makeover was going to last for another day or so no matter what the makeup wouldn't be able to come off, Theresa was helping out with whatever Desdemona while trying to be friendly towards her. Jade was helped by Annabelle Rosario into Cabin Twenty, and greeted by ten of her half brothers and sisters, as they all took a liking to her rather quickly.

Dinner was at six thirty, and all of the campers were all there the mood in the dining pavilion was pretty weird, the rumors spreading around camp were mainly about the four children from the Big Three. But everyone seemed to be pretty friendly towards the five newcomers as well, as everyone was sitting by their cabin mates. While Arthur and Ash sat at the Hades table by themselves as well as Andy in Zeus's table and Kiera at Poseidon's table and Jade was seated at the Hecate table and Desdemona at the Aphrodite table. Chiron then started to stand up and started to get everyone's attention as everyone started to quiet down then he spoke. "I like to welcome our six new campers, Desdemona Pemberton, Athanasia Theroux, Arthur Stanford, Kiera Donovan, Jade Schneider and Andy Phillips to Camp Half-Blood." Chiron said, while the other campers started to applaud towards the six new campers.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood
Interacting With:

Kiera sat at the Poseidon table by herself as she looked at all the other two hundred twenty six campers at the dining pavilion she bit her bottom lip slightly as she started to eat a little bit of her food. She kind of felt alone sitting at the table by herself as she looked at the others, she didn't have any other siblings it seems as she adjusted her self a bit while she took a bite out of her dinner. Which was some of her favorite food which was really weird as well.

Then Chiron addressed everyone to the camp who was new, she didn't really like being in crowds to much either as she tried to avoid making eye contact with some of the people there. She enjoyed eating her dinner at the table by herself though since she didn't have to deal to much with these strangers as well, though she was really curious what Capture the Flag would actually be like.

Kristin sat at the Athena table with her half brothers and sisters, she had pretty much taken the last few hours and slept through some of the afternoon before it was time for dinner. She was pretty excited for the game of Capture the Flag tonight while she talked with her siblings what the game plan was. Since the two main teams were against the Ares and Athena cabins which was always fun to, while she looked at some of the newcomers as well.

She had gotten up to speed who was with who now, and four of them being from the Big Three was pretty bad as well, usually something big happened. As Kristin ate her dinner she listened to Chiron as he introduced the new campers to everyone else as well, and they would be doing capture the flag after dinner.

Andy

Location:Camp Half-Blood

Acknowledging Ash and Arthur, "My name is Andy." She then looked at the newly claimed Aphrodite girl. "Honestly, I don't want either. If there were a god of just disappearing that would make more sense." Well aside from the power to electrocute people. That made sense. She really didn't want to be the child of one of the big three, and especially not the daughter of the king of the gods. There was going to be a responsibility that came with that. A responsibility she was in no way qualified for.

That was clear when Chiron let them all check out their cabins and meet their siblings. She walked up to the giant white marble "cabin" and felt intimidated by it alone. She paused before it debating even going in. What would be the point? She didn't have any belongs to drop off. Everyone else was checking out theirs and meeting their siblings, well except for Kiera. Like Andy, she had no siblings. The "cabin" was massive and devoid of any furniture except for two alcoves with golden eagle statues and one intimidating statue of, who Andy assumed was her father, Zeus, in the middle. There was a constant rumble of thunder. Andy was thankful she wasn't afraid of it. If she had been she would certainly have to get over that. If Andy knew the word pretensions that is what she would have called the cabin. Pretensions show with no substance behind it.

In one corner of the room was an old dusty sleeping bag. Andy walked over to it, realizing that it was the only spot in the room that was safe from the gaze of Zeus. Some sibling of hers had pulled their sleeping bag into the corner of the room to gain some semblance of comfort. She noticed an old photo, that had once been stuck to the wall, on the ground. There were three kids in it. None of them were wearing the camp t-shirt. She wondered which of them, if any, was her sibling. Now long gone from this place. She left the picture where she found it to finish exploring the room. She found a bathroom, and that was all. Nothing else was in this place, and she felt more alone then she had before she had come to the camp.

Yeah, she knew who her father was now. Every orphan dreamed of knowing that. Dreamed of their long lost family finding them and whisking them away to some magical place where they were a princess. Andy had never quite dreamed of that. She had just wanted a place to call home, and family. This was more like a nightmare than a dream come true. She sighed and left the cabin to rejoin the group for the rest of the tour.

Her favorite part was when Chiron told them about the climbing wall. That looked like fun. Despite all the frustration and worry that the day had brought, she looked up at the climbing wall with excitement.

When dinner finally rolled around Andy was hungry. This wasn't something new for her, but the sugar from the soda Mr. D had given her had made her stomach extra twisty. She followed the motions of the other campers. Scraping a portion of her meal into a brazier. She didn't understand why, but she was good at copying people's motions. It helped when you were an outsider to learn the rules of a place as fast as possible. She could still feel eyes on her, especially when she sat at the table Chiron told her she would sit at. It was Zeus table. Sitting there marked her as his kid. Every other camper would know and there would be no way to hide from it.

She did share a glance at Ash and Arthur when they joined, giving them a half smile. She also nodded at Kiera, and would have given Jade the same if she could have seen it. Also, now that she knew Desdemona's name she tried to find her amongst her siblings to give her a nod too. There was no way she was happy. Andy wouldn't necessarily switch with her, but she could understand her plight and wanted her to know that in whatever non-verbal way she could communicate that to her.

She did hear bits of conversation. Either about how many big three kids there were, or about capture the flag. Andy didn't know what that was, but it sounded like it would be an adventure. Maybe Ash would ask what it was and someone would answer loudly enough that Andy would know the answer too. Out of the new campers Jade and Desdmona were the ones who were most likely to have learned what it was.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda clapped her hands a bit sarcastically, sitting at the Iris Table with nine of her brothers and sisters. They were evenly split - she had four sisters here and five brothers. Her sister, Tammy, was the Head Counselor and Leda glanced over at her for a moment. It was a bit disappointing that they hadn't gained any siblings but on the flip side, it meant that they didn't need to reconfigure the cabin space to account for them. Still though, part of her wondered if the little kids sleeping in the Zeus and Hades Cabins oughtn't to be placed with the Hermes campers for now - they seemed way too young to be left to their own devices.

"Gonna go flirt, don't plan anarchy without me," she told one of her brothers quietly enough that no one else could hear. She then got up and walked over to the Poseidon Table, bringing her plate and goblet along with her, and she sat down next to Kiera. Leda took a bite into her food, before smirking a bit at the daughter of Poseidon. "Pardon the pun - but you seem a bit like you're in a fishbowl at the moment, thought you could use some company." There was no strict rule as far as Leda knew that said tables couldn't be switched at dinner. If Chiron got on her case about it though, he could bloody well fight her.

Desdemona Pemberton

Location: Camp Half-Blood

In a whirlwind, she was swept up. First, she was brought to her cabin where she met her "siblings". It seemed her mother had gotten around. And the one girl, Theresa, was too peppy for her tastes. And she had the choice of her new pink, frilly dress or this ugly camp T-shirt. She took the camp clothes and went to change. Try as she might, the make-up would not come off. She put on the orange t-shirt and groaned. It was uglier than she imagined. She would have to change that later and before this Capture the Flag bull.

At the dining hall, she sat down and ate while everyone cheered as their names were called. This was fresh hell to her. She'd rather be at school with the Cyclops than this. What the hell was she to do? She could not accept this. Not yet. And yet, people were pushing her to participate and accept it all. Did no one understand her world had been rocked? It would take more than a camp sing-a-long to bring her to fully take part.

Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Lake ---> Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel chuckled, shaking his head before he went about his swimming adventure. It was as much as a work out as it was time to clear his head and reset. He swam about, doing laps and then would flip over and float around for awhile. The sun glowed over the water and warmed him completely whenever he decided to just float. After some time in the water, Ezekiel returned to his cabin to clean up for supper. There was much discussion about the newcomers and Ezekiel was bombarded with questions about the quest and what happened. He explained all of the kids, who the annoying ones were, who the ones with potential were and the fact that even though he was in charge, Kristen had taken over.
”I don’t care. I’m sick of always being over stepped by her. Leaders make mistakes but if I’m never given the opportunity to, how am I supposed to learn? Besides, there is always criticism and none of it is constructive or helpful by any means.” He grumbled along as he got ready and his siblings just smirked but attempted to lift his spirits. Conversation turned to the four kids who were chosen by the big three. Four of the new kids, all a child to one of the big three. Damn. Ezekiel pulled his camp t-shirt on and shook his head.
”What fresh hell this is going to be,” he commented before they all wandered from the cabin and headed to the dining pavilion.
Ezekiel dished up his food, starved and even made a bit of a sacrifice this time, uttering a small, private pray before he went and took his usual seat. They were all eating and relatively happy when Chiron started introducing the newbies. Ezekiel clapped along politely with everyone before he went back to his eating.

Marygold Isley

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion

Mary nodded at Theresa as she spoke about something big probably happening. It was the obvious thought, since there were a bunch of kids from the Big Three all in one place right now. That generally spelled some sort of messed up problem, and no one really knew what it was quite yet. Hearing that Theresa might have a half sibling wasn't all that surprising to her, she was the daughter of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty. It wasn't that surprising for her to have quite a few kids.

Later that night, at dinner she was sitting at the Demeter table with her siblings, eating her food quietly as she glanced over at the new campers, clapping her hands slightly along with everyone else when he introduced them. It still concerned her that 4 of them were children of the Big Three, but she didn't think anything of it really. Maybe nothing horrible would happen, who knew what could happen. She saw Leda wander over to the girl who was the daughter of Poseidon, and it made her wonder what she was going to talk to her about, but didn't move from where she was.

Athanasia Theroux & Arthur Stanford

Location Hades Cabin

The Hades Cabin was gloomy and Athanasia studied the black walls from her perch on a blood red coffin shaped bed. Her fingers absently tugging at her lower lip before she gave a sigh. This entire camp was odd, to say the least. With a climbing wall that spewed lava and falling rocks, a lake filled with naiads, satyrs, and dryads filling the hills between here and there to name a few of those oddities. For someone who had grown up trailing after a mother who enjoyed oddities, Athanasia had thought herself well acquainted with such. Apparently not, she was forced to admit. Considering her mother, Athanasia felt a good deal of ire that Ryssa had kept this information from her. How could she, when it was appearing to be so very important? Monsters were trying to kill her, now people were whispering. And not in a good way! Standing up, the tiny ten years old paced as she thought to herself before considering the other person within the cabin. "Did you know? Suspect?" Athanasia demanded shortly, a disapproving pout on her face. "Arthur." Now that they were alone Athanasia was shorter with her temper and less charming, but there was no hiding the confusion and slight fear in her dark eyes. She was only ten and had been chased by Cyclops, found out her father was the God of the Dead and now that she had a brother she had never known about. It would be a lot for anyone.

If there was one thing Arthur could appreciate about the Hades cabin, it was the shade. The place seemed to be much cooler than he would have expected his living quarters to be, something he assumed would make the summer months much more manageable. He too was processing still that, presumably, his mother had hidden from him that he was a demigod, or if she hadn't known of her partner's godhood, had at least cheated on his father. He had to get in contact with them at some point in the future and find out what on earth was the situation there. Giving a look back at Ash, he cocked an eyebrow. "Did I know? Of course not." He said evenly. He had to keep it together, one of them had to be stable through this, and as the older one, it was thus his responsibility. "How are you taking this? It's... Shocking to say the least." He asked, turning to face her, clearly perturbed.

The tiny Athanasia grimaced as she gave a pointed look towards the entrance/exit of the cabin where sunlight streamed in cheerful rays. "I don't know." Answered a small voice. It hadn't been what she meant to say but it was the honest truth and she needed to trust someone. Arthur had been a good ally back in the Crystal Rivers School for Troubled Youths. He was her second in command, and who could she possibly trust more? Kiera was having to deal with her own cabin, alone. Wincing at that thought she perched on the edge of the coffin bed and wrapped her arms about her knees. Her chin being propped up by them as she watched her half-sibling. "It's a lot, but it's what happens in the stories right? I mean, it was scary when the cyclops were trying to eat us." A flicker of anger slipped across the young girl's face. She would not soon forget Roman and his crew. If she ran into that Cyclops again, she would be ready. "But I have seen strange things before. My mom studies ancient things and likes to pick apart skeletons. She's an- anowhatisit?" Shaking her head, Ash tilted her head at Arthur. "What do you make of this?" She jerked her head to include the entire camp.

"Archaeologist?" Arthur asked, strolling over to her, and sitting on the bed across from her. He frowned and rested his hands in his palms. This was hard, probably harder than anything he'd done before. "I suppose it is, isn't it?" That stumbled on an interesting point. There were countless stories of Greek heroes, plenty of whom must've been demigods. Brushing up on them might be a worthwhile thing. "Maybe we should read up on some of the old myths. It'd be fun, and be good for us..." Realizing he hadn't answered her question, he laughed a little and said. "It's absolutely insane. And cool. And scary. And the stuff of fiction and legend." He said to her. "I think I'm scared, excited, and a million other feelings I haven't processed yet." He said, keeping his eyes on her. "We just gotta keep our heads up, and we'll make it through."

"Oh, la! Of course, we will. We dealt with Cyclops after all." Athanasia gave a shaker smile. Trying to appear calm and sure of herself. That is what was proper after all. "We will read up on the myths, though I think we ought to bring Andy with us". She, Andy, had seemed lonely.

Arthur gave her a sad smile, and stood back up, moving next to her, and sitting by her side. He knew she wasn't feeling okay, and he was now, of course, responsible for helping her out of that. He wrapped her arms around her and said. "Exactly, we got away from a Cyclops, after being thrown into this with no preparation." He told her, squeezing for a second, before letting go. "We're gonna make it out of this, ten times more awesome than we were before." He didn't know that of course, but he was trying to reassure and help her, and himself, however, he could.

Athanasia blinked as Arthur gave her a hug. Startled by the affection though grateful for it. Patting his shoulder awkwardly as she didn't feel quite right about hugging him after he had just hugged her. There was a certain amount of room for returning a hug and she had missed it. though she did scoot to her press her shoulder to his. "We already have a dagger to kill them next time and annoying skull I can spike off their heads." There was a muffled protest from within her backpack that Chatters was meant for more than being bounced about. Something about 'contenders' and 'could have been'. Ignoring the skull, she grinned weakly up at Arthur with that mischievous smile though it was a great deal shakier than usual. "There's two of us. I say we have it the best of the entire camp. Especially since I'm obviously in charge." She smirked with a 'Hades may care' tilt of her mouth and a challenging gleam to her dark eyes."I was efficient back in that school." Giving her half-brother a teasing nudge of her shoulder.

Arthur gave her a light tap on the back of the head. "Nope, it's my turn to be in charge." He said, smiling back at her, "Two excellent reasons why I should be." He started, turning to face her totally. "For one, I'm older than you." He nudged her back, stifling a laugh at her. "And for another, I effectively called dibs earlier. And I bet Chiron would have me in charge over you." He stood up and jerked his head towards the door. "We could go ask him if you wanted."

Ash squawked and covered her head as Arthur tapped it. Her black eyes giving a malicious glower at the older child of Hades. "One year-ish. You are older by one year-ish." She grumbled straightening her hair. "And that's three reasons! Not two! But you can be in charge- for the sake of appearances. But we discuss things before settling on anything!" She reasoned with a pointed look at Arthur. "Partners. My brother. Partners."

Arthur pressed his hand to his chin and pretended to think for a moment. He chuckled and nodded. "Partners then." He stretched his hands above his head, and said, "But if it's that easy to convince you, I might as well be God-King of the cabin." He said sarcastically. For the first time today, things seemed to finally be getting better.

'God-King' went a bit far as Ash struck poking her brother in his ribs and ruthlessly tickle him. "God-King? I think not!"

Arthur started laughing and pushed her away a bit. "Fine fine fine, just stoooopp." He said, smiling. "I'll be King Arthur. Plain and simple." He acquiesced.

"King of Plain and Simple minded." Athanasia jabbed as she stuck her tongue out. "And foolishness. Now shall we take a look about the camp? We have hours to-" She shrugged and gestured absently. In truth, she didn't know what to make of this. It was all so much.

"Let's." He agreed, trying very hard not to roll his eyes as he walked to the door, and opened it, stepping out, feeling a bit better about where this all seemed to be going.

It was four hours later and Athanasia found herself sitting at the table for Cabin 13. As if their cabin didn't just scream 'potential psychotic pipsqueaks' enough. Though the pale girl was more amused by that fact than anything else. Though seeing the number of campers assembled, she was a bit concerned. Two hundred was a very large number after all. Perhaps there was some relief in having only Arthur's face and name to remember and knowing him from before coming to this camp. When the time she had come, she had followed the others to scrap some food (The best of course) into the brazier and frowned slightly at the memory. So the gods enjoyed tasty smoke? It was bizarre. Though when Andy caught her eye, Ash gave the girl a wicked grin and wave, giving a less wicked grin and more friendly smile to Kiera and a quick wave before hurrying after Arthur. Though seeing one of their erstwhile rescuer join Kiera, Ash felt some relief. At least her ally wouldn't be alone. Though, it seemed Desdemona wanted exactly that. Surrounded by the children of the Goddess of beauty, the older girl looked like she would enjoy the solitude their cabin had offered. Nibbling at the food with a methodical pace that was slowly devouring everything within her reach as well as drinking iced tea from the magic cup, Ash studied Andy and nudged her brother under the table with a foot. Her eyes flickering between Kiera and Leda and then Andy. "Do you think we could kidnap her from that lonesome table?" She noted in an undertone as she considered the situation. If he wanted to play 'In Charge' then he could very well take a partner's concern and she was curious if her new found brother would step up to toe a line here in this new environment.

The feeding of smoke to the gods was certainly an odd thing for Arthur to accept, but he figured the nature of the truly divine was bound to be unlike his own. Taking a modest amount of food and drink, and looking at the group of people sitting, he nodded quietly at Ash. "Wouldn't be very hard at all, I say we go and grab her the first chance we get. Sound good?" He asked, giving her a small smile as he suggested that.

Jade Schneider

After their introduction, her day had really been quite a bit of a whirlwind from that point on. First, she was heading with the group, then led off to her own cabin. Inside, she could almost feel the magic hanging around the cabin. As if it were a heavy heat weighing down upon her shoulders. The girl was then introduced her cabin mates and helped around by one of her sisters. She learned where her bunk was, conveniently easy to get to for a girl who really couldn't see where the hell she was going. She spent the rest of the time sitting on her bunk and looking through her spellbook and talking to her sisters. The girl trying to really understand what exactly was going on in this camp.

After that, she was led out of the cabin to join her siblings for dinner at the dining pavilion. Which honestly, could not have come much sooner as she was starting to feel a bit starved. While they were sitting at their table, Chiron must have stood before speaking as she heard the hall go quiet before he welcomed the new campers. Looking down from the crowds as they applauded, she felt her cheeks color with an odd feeling of shyness that she really wasn't all that used to experiencing. Hopefully, they would all stop soon, so the girl could go back to eating peacefully with her new siblings.

After Chiron introduced the new campers, everyone had gone back to enjoying their dinner as everyone started to talk amongst themselves, some were still about the new campers, while others were talking about Capture the Flag that would be after dinner of course. While over at the Aphrodite table Theresa moved over to sit down next to Desdemona, knowing that the girl probably did want to be alone for the most part. But she of course did want to help her new half sister as well since it was a lot to take in within a single day, as the others at the Aphrodite table were talking about things like fashion and clothes. Or makeup and jewelry whatever that was really great and new in the fashion world.

"If you have any questions, feel free to ask them I've been at camp for awhile so feel free to ask at anytime." Theresa offered as she took another bite out of her dinner. "Oh, and I can show you the armory for tonight you might need to get geared up for the game tonight." Theresa told Desdemona. While over at the Zeus table Andy Alannah Benton the head counselor of the Athena cabin came over towards her, figuring that it was a lot to take in as well. "How are you? I'm Alannah, the head cabin counselor for the Athena cabin." She said extending her hand over towards the younger girl.

Bryan made his way over towards Ezekiel and gave his half brother a slight nudge and smiled towards him a bit, knowing that the little quest didn't really go to well for him, since Kristin decided to take his thunder after all. "Do you want me to prank her or something tonight I can get Juan in on it to if you'd like." Bryan said smirking a little bit, he had been at camp for awhile now and Juan the head counselor for the Hermes cabin were also from the same school before joining Camp Half-Blood. "Just say the word and we can mess with her a bit."

Eva over at the Demeter table sat down next to Marygold after she had given some portion of her food to their mother she eyed the tables of the big three, there was a lot of them it seems. She turned to look at her half sister as she took a bite out of her dinner, as their siblings talked a little bit. "So, what do you think of the new campers?" Eva asked Mary figuring as she also noticed Leda making her way towards the Poseidon table to talk to the redhead that was there. "Seems Leda likes the redhead there." She pointed out as well, as she took a drink from her goblet.

Annabelle had been helping Jade move around the camp wherever she needed to go if she asked for it, seeing that she had the spell book there with her as well. Though she didn't know a thing of brail at all, Annabelle was one of the smartest people in the camp aside from the Athena kids who were always the real smart ones. But she was really good with magic and controlling the Mist as well, that kept the normal mortals from seeing into the world that they all had pretty much knew. "So, find anything in that book?" Annabelle asked her half sister and smiled slightly towards her, while she occasionally looked over at the Hades table no one really approached their table.

Chiron then made another announcement as he went to get everyone's attention. "As you all know as well tonight like every Friday, is Capture the Flag tonight. "I would like someone to show our new campers the armory to help get suited up. The rules are standard, magical weapons are allowed, no killing and the leading cabins tonight are the Athena and Ares cabins. So, when you are done eating if Alannah and Jace will choose the cabins shortly." Chiron said, as he took his seat again.

Kiera was eating her dinner as she took a drink from the goblet that filled up whenever she wanted to with pepsi that she always did enjoy drinking, looking around at the kids once more. Her plate was filled with some seafood popcorn shrimp to be exact which was kind of funny since her father was actually the king of the sea. She also had a little bit of hotsauce on the side, as she dipped the shrimp in there and ate it.

It was still a lot for her to accept as she turned her attention as Leda came over and sat down next to her on the table and gave her a friendly smile and laughed slightly. "I certainly don't mind the company at all." Kiera said as she brushed a stray strand of hair away from her face, she was glad that she had some company at least which was pretty good. "Just a lot to take in." Kiera said as she rubbed the back of her neck slightly as Chiron made his second announcement for Capture the Flag and wondered what he meant by that.

Kristin sat at the table as she continued to eat her dinner as she watched Leda making her way over towards the Poseidon table, though there wasn't any specific rule that other campers couldn't leave the table to mingle with others. Seeing as her half sister also had gotten up and made her way towards the Zeus table to talk with Andy. She went back to eating her dinner as she ran a hand through her hair as she enjoyed her food which was always something from her favorite places she ate her or her mother made.

Though Kristin didn't leave her table as she watched Zeke from her table for a moment while he was talking with Bryan and shook her head slightly. She always didn't like him to much either since he always did try to find ways to annoy her or her siblings as well Kristin listened to Chiron again as he made his announcement again about Capture the Flag tonight which she enjoyed as well.

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Leda nodded, remembering when she had first come to Camp Half-Blood. It hadn't been too long after she discovered her speed, being able to run so fast that she would dart across the surface of water like it was just pavement. She hadn't known what she was until a group of Empousai nearly killed her. She had blasted them with beams of light, and a satyr found her, explaining that she was a demigod. "It always is at first, but you get used to it," she told her with a smile. "But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy Capture the Flag tonight. Basically we split up by cabins and have a good match... People don't usually die playing, since killing isn't allowed, but you can get rather hurt..."

She imagined that whoever picked Hermes, the opposite team would pick the Iris Cabin. Hermes and Iris were the messengers of the gods, meaning that their kids were especially quick on their feet. It made them excellent scouts for Capture the Flag, as well as (to Leda's eternal frustration) messengers between groups if the teams decided to split up scouting parties to cover more territory. She then took a bite into her food, having been craving pizza earlier that day and she washed it down with some of the Dr. Pepper in her goblet. "Oh, almost forgot," Leda then got up, making a bit of a sacrifice to her mom before heading back on over. "You put a bit of your food there, sacrifice it usually to your parent, maybe say a little prayer if you like."

Ezekiel Kel

Location: Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel had gone for seconds and just sat back down when Bryan joined him. He nudged his older half-brother back and smirked at his comment. He looked over at Kristen, meeting her eyes a moment and winked at her before he looked back at Bryan.
”I’m in. Let’s do it,” he said agreeing. Chiron stepped back up, announcing that Capture the Flag would begin after supper, as usual. Most often Ezekiel would try to sit out for the games and work in the tents set up for medical. There were always injuries and some that required immediate attention rather than waiting until the conclusion of the game. Today he thought he would play though. At least for as long as he could until they needed him or something.
He finished with his food and stretched out before he stood. They still needed to hear what side they would be on but Ezekiel was starting to feel a bit restless and was ready to go and get geared up for the game. He also wanted to talk to Juan and see what they could plan up for Kristen.

Desdemona Pemberton

Location: Camp Half-Blood

It was as if someone had seen into her mind and picked out the possibly worst things imaginable to her and laid them out for her to see. Not only was she in a summer camp, now forced to participate in such things like campouts and capture the flag, but now her half-siblings were talking incessantly about fashion and shopping and blah blah blah! She could pounce on any number of them. Who cared what designer you wore? You were at camp!

Theresa seemed nice enough, but she didn't want to be bothered much. If she had to be here, she would be an active non-participant when applicable. Before she could say though, Theresa mentioned an armory. That piqued her interest. She remembered that being called meant you got shit. "Yes, I'd like to go to the armory and see what there is." Who knows? Even though her mother was the goddess of fashion week, perhaps she had cool shit to offer.

Athanasia Theroux

Location Camp Half-Blood

Giving a victorious smile to Arthur, the pale girl slipped from the seat across from him. Noticing a rather bushy haired girl moving to the table for the child of Zeus. No doubt her brother would follow, he said he would and if anything they were partners. Partners according to Ash meant keeping your word to one another. It was trust and well-placed trust at that. Approaching the table she perched in a seat next to Andy with a grin. "Hope you don't mind? You seemed lonely!" Her voice only loud enough to be clearly heard by both girls and Arthur if he were to follow. Her attention switching to the older bushy haired Alannah. "Athanasia. Ash for short. A pleasure to meet you!" She grinned, turning her head quickly to Chiron when the centaur began speaking with a quirked brow.

This place had an armory? Ash's brows shot up slightly as she frowned at the word. Armory... Armory? She remembered her mother mentioning something like it in connection to warriors. "What's in the armory?" She turned her gaze back to Alannah with a slight frown. "And what did he mean, no killing? People get killed playing Capture the Flag?" It was a sobering and very serious thought when you had nearly been a cyclops's breakfast that morning. Though Ash had played various versions of Capture the Flag and King of the Hill this didn't seem quite the same with a camp full of the children of one godly parent.

Marygold Isley

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion

"I'm honestly not too sure what I think about the newcomers after all. There are quite a few that belong to the Big Three which is making me wonder a bit, but as of right now, they seem okay to me," she said to Eva with a bit of a shrug. Mary glanced over towards where Leda was, and she nodded her head somewhat in agreement with it seeming like Leda might have a thing or something for the daughter of Poseidon. It wouldn't surprise her, but maybe she'd find some way to tease her friend about it later.

Hearing Chiron talk about Capture the Flag, she looked over at Eva again. "So, what team do you want to be on? I personally would prefer us to be on the Athena side as opposed to the Ares team," she said with a slight smile. The Athena kids generally were some of the smartest people around, especially considering what Athena was the Goddess of. She half expected the Ares kids to come up with a strategy of just charging straight in and hoping for the best.

Andy

Location:Camp Half-Blood

Andy was startled slightly when a girl sat at her table. She introduced herself as Alannah, the head counselor for the Athena cabin. Andy had no idea who Athena was, none of the group that had arrived that day were children of Athena so she had no background on her. "I'm okay. My name is Andy." There was no reason to introduce herself since Chiron had done it for her already, but it felt right. She was vague about her feelings, there was a lot going on in her feelings, too much to explain.

She was contemplating asking Alannah who Athena was when Ash joined her table too. "I don't mind." A smile cracked across Andy's face as Ash started talking and asking questions saving her the trouble. Andy had never had a proper friend before, but she was getting the sneaky suspicion that Ash would become her first friend. A part of Andy wanted to pull away from that, the nervous frightened kid that she was, but it was hard to not like Ash. She was a whirlwind of energy. A pang of loneliness and a small wish that they had been siblings spent a moment dancing through Andy's heart and mind. It was swept away by fears and worries that took up too much space.

Were they really going to have them play whatever capture the flag was too? Sure, Andy had street smarts in spades, but her experience was humans or being attacked by monsters. Defeating monsters just required a good stab from her knife, and maybe a blast of electricity. She had no idea how she could contribute to capture the flag. Andy wished Ash would ask what capture the flag was about, but maybe Alannah would answer that question when she talked about the "no killing" rule. At least Ash had asked about the armory, that sounded interesting.

Jade Schneider

Jade was truly thankful to her half-siblings being so gracious as to lead her around the camp and make her truly welcome that day. As such, she was sitting particularly close to Annabelle, who had quickly become one of her better friends in the cabin during the day. As the girl had led her around the camp whenever she asked for help so that Jade didn't have any unfortunate accidents by walking into a wall. As she was asked about if she had found anything in the book, Jade nodded and snapped her fingers. When a little puff of smoke appeared above her fingers she waited a few seconds before speaking. "Uh, is there a fire? There should be a fire." Its supposed to be a fire above my hands.

Then she heard Chiron talking about capture the flag, and the injuries that could come with it. If her pale features could grow anymore pale, they did in that moment as she frantically grabbed Annabelle's arm. "I don't have to do that, r-right? I can't see! Nor fight! I would get hurt really, really bad!" She said in a panic, hoping that her friend would tell her that she did not in fact need to participate in the games that would be later that night. The very last thing that she really wants is to critically get wounded because some asshole decided to go and hit the blind girl.

Jace looked over towards his cabin mates as they started to discuss who they would want on their teams from the cabins, though it was an optional thing. Some kids did choose not to participate in Capture the Flag with the rest of the cabin, but usually there was a pretty good number of them who did end up joining the game. And then a few seconds later Jace had gotten up after he had written down the list he wanted for their team and made his way towards Chiron. And handed it over towards him before making his way back towards the rest of his cabin mates.

Theresa looked towards Desdemona and smiled a little bit seeing that the girl had a little more interest in the armory then the rest of their brothers and sister's did. "Of course, I can show you now." Theresa looked towards the others for a moment. "I'll be back let me know who is going to which team." She told her siblings before motioning for Desdemona to follow her, and left the dining pavilion since dinner was just about finished now. It wasn't to far from the dining pavilion and then unlocked the door to the armory allowing Desdemona to enter. "Feel free to take a look." Theresa said, inside there were various weapons of different kinds, from swords to bows, even some guns in there. (PM/DM me if you choose a magical item in the armory)

Bryan smirked and nodded towards Zeke. "Alright then what did you have in mind?" Bryan asked as he looked up watching as Jace walked over towards Chiron, as he made his list of who he wanted on the team. "I wonder which cabins he picked." Bryan asked as Juan sat down in front of Zeke and gave a slight shrug. "Dunno, but it will probably be interesting." He said, as he noticed the look Kristin had given them and laughed a bit when Zeke winked at her. "Looks like ya are flirting with her." Juan teased Zeke a little bit, before looking over at Bryan. "Just hit me up when you guys want to spring the prank on her and the details." He said before leaving to join the rest of the Hermes kids.

"It's nice to meet you Andy. And if you were curious my mother is the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy, Arts and Crafts, of Battle and Reason." Alannah said towards her and smiled as she looked towards Ash as she decided to join her as well and then started to ask about the armory. "It's filled with weapons for training, as well as combat against monsters and the event if the camp does get attacked." Alannah answered her, as she watched Jace getting up and shaking her head slightly and sighed a little bit, she didn't get a chance to pick who she wanted on her team. "And no one gets killed, we do have the best healers in the camp in the event someone does get injured. We also have nectar and ambrosia that help heal injuries rather quickly as well." Alannah answered Ash.

"I'm sure they are really cool." Eva said as she played with her hair a little bit as she ate a little bit of her dinner as she watched the two over at the Poseidon table, before turning her attention over towards Mary. "Personally I prefer working with the Athena cabin a bit more." She said, she was pretty good friends with Alannah and they always did get along pretty well together. "So doing anything after the game?" She asked her half sister as she watched Jace coming back from giving Chiron his list. "I really hate the Ares kids, they are real assholes sometimes."

Annabelle watched as the spell she tried to use just turned to a puff of smoke, she gently patted her on the shoulder she didn't even laugh either. "Don't worry magic takes time to learn. But i'm sure you will be able to pick things up very quickly." Annabelle said as she felt Jade grabbing onto her arm, and looked at her and shook her head. "No it's optional, though its a way of training but you don't have to participate in it if you do not want to. Though I will be participating in it though." She said smiling a little bit she did like the game whenever it was Friday.

Kiera Donovan

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Kiera listened to Leda as she explained the camps version of Capture the Flag, she of course had played it back when she was younger before being sent to the school. It certainly didn't have anything to do with demigods and using weapons either, but it did sound pretty fun. "As dangerous as this version of capture the flag is, it sounds like a lot of fun." Kiera said smiling a little bit, as she took another sip of her drink, and watched as Leda got up and went to the nearby brazier setting a small portion of it in the fire raising an eyebrow slightly. She thought it was a little bit of a weird thing to do, since she had never met her real father at all either but it was a camp and her father was a god which she didn't want to piss off either.

Kiera finished up eating the rest of her dinner, but left a portion of it still on her plate, and started to do the same thing as Leda had just done and dumped the remainder of her food into the brazier. Kiera didn't say a prayer or anything, before making her way back over towards Leda and sat back down, tucking a stray strand of her hair out of her face. "So, did you ever meet your mother before?" Kiera asked, and looked over towards Chiron. "And what is in the armory exactly?" Kiera asked.

Kristin Reynolds

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Kristin looked towards Zeke and glared at him, she felt really weirded out when he winked at her, she noticed that he was talking with Bryan and Juan as well. The two were the biggest pranksters in the camp which she didn't like the idea of, she turned back to eating her dinner, and leaving a small porition of her food on the plate still. And made her way over towards the brazier and dumped the remaining food off into the fire. Saying a small prayer to her mother, she then made her way back towards the table, and noticed Arthur there still by himself. She decided to make her way over towards the kid and smiled a little bit as Kristin sat down at the Hades table, even though it was kind of frowned on, but everyone else was still doing it.

"Hows it going?" Kristin asked Arthur as she looked towards Ash as she was at the Zeus table, seeing her talking with her half sister and Andy as well. "So, got any questions or anything?" Kristin asked him, figuring that he had a lot of questions for her as well, since it was still a lot to take in as well, she noticed as Jace had just left leaving the list to Chiron, figuring that he had chosen who he wanted.

Location: Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Juan ended up coming over to them, making Ezekiel’s job easier. He rolled his eyes at Juan’s comment and didn’t acknowledge Bryan’s. He didn’t really care what side they were on, it just mattered who was on the other side. He laughed at Juan’s comment at flirting with Kristin and shook his head. He was like that with every girl really. It didn’t much matter to him. He was a boy of fifteen after all.
”Keep your friends’ closer but your enemies closer. Isn’t that the saying?” He looked down the table, listening to the random conversations as he thought of potential ideas. ”Well you suggested it. I thought you might have had an idea.” He looked back at Bryan since Juan had wandered off again. He did that a lot, wander. Ezekiel was ready to start wandering as well. It was getting anxious to hear what teams they were on and wanted to get a move on already.

Arthur Stanford

"Thing's aren't bad." Arthur said quietly, looking over to Krisin and smiling at her as Ash walked away. "I mean, I'm still reeling from everything going on, but I think I'm going to be alright." He straightened himself, and stood up, looking at her. "I'm afraid I need to join my half-sister though, if you'd like to join me. I don't think I caught your name though?" As he said that, he started to stand up, and walk towards the Zeus table.

Following after Ash, he gave a curious look at the apparent daughter of Zeus. As he looked at her hair, an errant thought ran through his head that perhaps being the daughter of Zeus helped her hair stand up. This was, of course, not something he'd ver say out loud, so he kept his mouth shut as Ash introduced herself. Afterwards, he cleared his throat and said, "And I'm Arthur, it's a pleasure as well." He looked back towards Kristin, hoping she'd be following after him. "I certainly want to get a look at that armory, see what we can get." He smiled, nudging Ash gently.
