Full Name
Rob Goodson
Nickname/Alias
Puck (character he played in a show)
Communicator Of?
Cernunnos, the Horned One
Age
19
Gender
Male
Appearance
Rob has something of an androgynous look to him, standing at 5'9 with a slender albeit toned build and a smooth chin. He has a tanned complexion and something in his face gives him a mischievous vibe. His voice is a touch high-pitched with a slight petulant note to it.
Personality
Rob like probably the whole cast will certainly be very surprised and unsettled by the events in the rp, though experience with his particular god may leave him more wary and ill at ease among supernatural occurrences. A child star he's certainly a bit of a brat and has a habit of looking down on people unless he catches himself or dolling out orders without realising.
In groups he tends to be at the centre of attention and can come across as extroverted or even brash and impulsive, however he is an actor by trade and this is just that. At his heart Rob is quite insecure person who is slow to trust others. He has quite a dry, cutting humour that he likes to deploy to divert himself or others whenever things get too serious for him. And his thinks he's much cleverer than he really is.
Residence
England
Brief Bio
Life as a child actor isn't easy. Rob's mother was a textbook helicopter parent and he was always under pressure to succeed, pushing him further to live out her dream that she'd missed out on. After scoring a role at the age of ten as 'Puck' in a TV series adaption of Midsummer Night's Dream Rob was catapulted to fame and a slew of other shows soon followed. But the more his fame grew the more alone he really felt, everyone around him seemed to want something or be more interested in the characters he pretended to be than Rob himself.
Rob was 17 when he first experimented with drugs. It was a release, an escape from the pressure of his superficial life. For two years he managed to keep his habit under wraps from his family, the press and the world. It wasn't until mid-way through the production of his first feature film that he got too reckless needing a release and wound up caught in a police sting. Sat alone in a police cell, coming down from a high and contemplating his life collapsing around him, Rob prayed in desperation for a way out. With tear soaked eyes and a hoarse throat he eventually fell asleep.
When Rob awoke he was on a bed of roses, the air tasted sweet and he could hear merriment from somewhere in the distance. As he sat up he realised he was in a forrest and it was night. Unsure if he was in a dream or some drug induced hallucination Rob tentatively followed the sounds and the air grew almost sickly as he came upon a woodland feast. Upon a huge wooden table carved to the shape of a pentagram was set out succulent meats and berries and fruits. Children danced in the air naked and laughed and sang.
"Puck, Puck, oh he's in luck, a deal with the Holly-King will be struck!"
At the far end of the great table was a horned figure, Rob as he looked couldn't tell if he was a man or a goat or both. But he looked back at Rob for a long time and he smiled at him. The music churned and took a strange note as the pan pipes blared. There was great commotion among the faerie and an apple was presented to Rob. It was red and it shone, Rob thought it might be the most beautiful thing he'd ever set eyes on.
"Free, free yes you shall be! Oh, oh, what glee!" The children laughed as they frolicked above him. And the goat-man kept on looking at him and smiling. Something caught the corner or Rob's eye then, a fly. A few actually, he saw they were buzzing around the apple. As he looked around he started to see them all about the feast, zitting about and biting the children, he was no longer sure if they were actually dancing or squirming.
"Puck, Puck, a deal must be struck! Or he is going to eat your eyes."
The meat on the table he realised didn't look like any animal he'd ever eaten before, and the flies were everywhere now. It wasn't evening, they were blotting out the sun. Through it all Horned-God kept on smiling at him. Rob sank his teeth into the apple.
Reason For Choice
Perhaps because Rob played the character Puck on TV, a figure associated with Cernunnos. Or maybe the Horned One sought out a mortal as desperate of Rob was in order to make a deal. Or it's possible it's something else, Cernunnos may see some quality in Rob that he needs. It could be all of these or none.
Weapon
The Growth Spear. A wooden horn-tipped spear that, as the name implies, grows when Robin wills it and can be snapped to shorten it again. As with all gifts from the fair-folk though it comes with a cost...It feels somehow alive to the touch and the wielder is dimly aware of it having emotions, primarily of the excruciating pain of forcefully growing or snapping and it pleading not to be used.
Powers
The three powers your character was imbued with. They are three abilities of any kind, relating to their respective God's field and powers. Explain with some detail.
I. Control of flies
Pretty much what it says on the tin. Can control less flies the further away from him they are and with concentration he could also see and feel what a fly experiences, but it would be through a flies very limited senses and it's 200 odd short-sighted eyes so he'd only get a vague idea of what's happening.
II. Spring-heeled
Can jump a couple of metres into the air. He can also spring off things that wouldn't normally be able to take his weight and has a mean kick.
III. Flesh control
Able to manipulate the bones and organs inside his body. So he might be able to fit through a tight gap, or move an organ so a hit wouldn't do as much damage (not a quick process though, something he'd have to of done before hand). He might be able to adjust the bones in his face to bear a resemblance to someone else, though certainly a far-cry from shape-shifting. Or just really freak someone out.
Other
Whatever you want to put here, put it down. Theme song, hobbies, whatever fluff you need.
