Quirk:Liquid Metal - Hie can create black pools of liquid metal that he has complete control over. Once produced Hie can freely manipulate the metal to his hearts content. Able to keep it liquid or condense it into a solid form. It's creative limits only held restricted by Hie's imagination. It takes time and energy to create the Liquid so Hie often kept a large jug of it on him at all times; allowing him to freely manipulate that saved liquid metal whenever he needed without exerted the time or energy creating it on the spot.
History:Early Years
Hie began his early years yearning for nothing more than to become a hero. Wanting to save lives and create a better world. With the coming entrance exam approaching Hie couldn't contain his furious excitement. He had full confidence in himself that he would ace the exams and start his track on becoming a world class hero.
This was not the case.
Hie barely scraped by in the entrance exams. He didn't realize how truly difficult they would be. But he barely made enough points to attend UA in class 1-B in their Hero Course. So not exactly as planned, but it was a start to his journey.
Early Career
Having barely graduating and attaining his Hero License Hie was finally stepping into the world. His capabilities far more in check and understood and vastly better than they had been. But he was no SUPER hero. He was just a hero. Middle rung and often flew under the radar of the true greats of his time. Often arriving onto a scene with most unsure who he was. But he hardly cared, he was able to save people. And that's all that truly mattered to Hie.
Through his early career Hie learned and grew in capabilities. Though his reputation hardly budged as the truly great kept a commanding hold on the public eye.
By this time Hie learned that not only could he pre-produce his liquid metal in large qualities that seemingly never decayed. But that he also had a mental connection to it over a great range.
Personal Life / Tragedy
During Hie's early career he found love. Noriko, a girl nearly his age in their later 20's. Their romance was quick and they married after only a year of dating. Being rather under the radar and wanting to focus on his personal life he decided to focus on his new wife and find a day job to support them.
After the next 10 years they lived a blissful life. Welcoming a beautiful baby girl to the world named Machiko, Chiko for short, and at this time she was seven years old. The two women in his life were his entire world. Hie counting the minutes at his corporate job before he could go home and spend his time with his family.
Though like any great Hero origin story, it always begins with tragedy.
One fateful day as Hie was at work a villain attacked his town with no other intent than to destroy and cause mayhem. Hie was blissfully unaware until in the background of the office he heard the news. Usually he tuned it out, but the name of his town caught his attention. Standing from his cubicle he headed towards the break room with the TV. His eyes grew wide in horror as he saw his neighborhood in ruin.
Without hesitation he nearly blasted down the stairs of the building and bolted in the direction of his home. By the time he arrived the Heroes had stopped the villain, but not before he had laid waste to a large quantities of buildings.
Hie made his way down the rubbled streets, pleading with whatever higher power that would listen that the Villain was stopped before he made it to his home. As he closed towards his home his heart began to sink. Seeing how far the devastation reached there was no way his home was spared. But his family could still be safe.
He finally made it to his home, his former home, seeing how several pieces of the home had been blasted and turned to rubble. Hie raced up the broken steps and through his surprisingly still intact door and searched the house, calling out for his family without a response in return. He eventually searched the kitchen and found an arm hangout out from some rubble.
From the coroners report Noriko and Machiko had gone to the kitchen and hid under their table. But a broken free piece of roof came crashing down, destroying the table and crushing the two beneath it all.
Creation of King Eternal.
Hie spent the following year in wallow. An important piece of him was ripped away and he felt hollow. Empty. The thought of 'Why weren't the heroes faster?' echoing insistently in his mind.
Eventually an idea sparked in his mind. Knowing he could connect to his Liquid Metal over vast distances and create a large quantity throughout the course of a day he formulated a plan. He would hide large reserves of his liquid metal hidden throughout the city.
With a determination never before seen he went to work. Looking through town maps and coming up with a strategic plan he was ready to set things in motion.
Nearly 30 years later
Hie's plan had reached it fruition. Over hundreds of miles Hie had hid away large reservoirs of his liquid metal. He had fine tuned his quirks creation, control, and manipulation. Able to more accurately control it over vast distances. This because he learned to mentally connect to the liquid itself, basically able to put his mind into the material he produced. At all times Hie is fed sensory information from all of his pools. Whenever he senses distress from one of the pools he delves his mind into the closest reservoir and create blades that would sense and seek out the target and attack. At first this was rather terrifying for those to witness. Just flying blades that attacked.
So Hie came up with the plan to create a body he could manipulate from his Liquid Metal. So came King Eternal. Putting a little more focus into details and manipulating clothes and faint colors in the clothes. He tried creating a face though he could never get it to look real. So instead he went for a mask. And so King Eternal became a physical manifestation to put a 'face' to Hie's acts of heroism.
