What do you do when you're just an empty shell? When you feel so defeated and lost that you don't know what your living for anymore? Where do you go? Who do you turn to? Some might think you would talk to the people in your family, friends or someone you think can be trusted. But for some people that simply isn't an option, they feel like no one can be trusted enough for them to break the walls in their mind.
Spring Hill is a home for these troubled people, they open their doors to individuals who need to be built up. They provide a nurturing environment so that maybe, just maybe, you can find something worth living and continue on with your life. They claim they have the best program in the united states, and there is nothing to disprove that. With the world crumbling down around them people have made the decision to enter Spring Hill, to try and get the help that they need.
What do you do when you begin to realize that the place you thought was helping you is actually killing you? Feeding you pills and medicine claiming that they would "Help" in the healing process? Do you fight? Do you decide to run? For the people trapped at Spring hill this is their reality. They must make the choice of their lives: Live or Die?
Content; This is a mature roleplay, that means the themes listed can all be present; Violence, Abuse, Alcohol, Drugs. If you are uncomfortable with any of these, then this roleplay might not be for you. Characters; When creating a character keep this in mind: Nobody's perfect. I want flaws, I want tragedy, I want broken character's that need to be picked up off the floor. Give them personality, give them life! Pictures; We will be using animated/illustrated pictures. This roleplay might seem deceiving, but it is simple. A bunch of people have been stuck at Spring Hill unknowingly, lies have filled their heads. They think they will be cured of the mental and physical illnesses that plague them. In reality the government is using untested drugs on them in hopes to create modified humans, creations that they can use for warfare. Some will start to die, others will start to develop supernatural abilities. You get to choose whether your character lives or dies. The roleplay will start with everyone getting to know one another, then the discovery of whats really going on and so forth.

On days where her depression hits hard she prefers to wear sweaters and other comfy clothing.

【 Positive Effects 】 Influence over nature - Sienna has begun to notice that when she is around plants that they seem to spring to life, she can sometimes even hear them. Most of the time she thinks it's just her going insane, though little does she realize her power is only going to grow.

【 Biography 】 Sienna was born to Michael and Lilian Mackinly, she was their second child. As the first daughter she was spoiled and happy, by the age of 4 Sienna had two younger siblings. Unfortunately things wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows for Sienna. Around 5 her parents divorced and her mother pretty much abandoned them, leaving them in the care of their father. Things weren't so bad, that is until her father began to seek out women to marry so he wouldn't have to raise his four children alone. The first women was Karen, she was actually the mother of her eldest brother and had another older son and daughter with a different man. The older brother was abusive, sexually and mentally. He would force young Sienna to so things she didn't want to, and then force her half-brother to do things against his will to Sienna. She took it like a champ so as not to worry her own siblings.
The older daughter would throw things and threaten Sienna and her siblings, but most of it was directed at Sienna herself. She was the one that did all the chores and even had to take care of her siblings sometimes. The marriage didn't last but her father didn't stay single for long. The next women wasn't terrible, just strict. However one day when Sienna came home she found all of her step-mothers things cleared out. She was left alone at 12 with two younger children and couldn't get a hold of her father. Sienna was alone with her crying and confused siblings for two hours before her father finally called the house. That marriage didn't last long either.
The last woman was probably the worst. She was an ugly women with a terrible personality and her two children were just like her. They only wanted her father for the money he made and Sienna could see that. Her children were treated much better than Sienna and her siblings, even Sienna's friends could see that. Sienna was constantly dragged to do everything and if it wasn't done perfectly than she would get severe groundings. At age 19 Sienna finally had enough and began to rebel - sneaking out, smoking and failing her classes. The mother hated this and someone convinced her father to kick her out. At 19 she was homeless and had nothing. Luckily her best friend came through and her mother let her live at their place on their couch. They helped her find her first apartment and Sienna eventually got a stable job. But the damage was done and slowly Sienna began to lose herself. She was on the verge of a mental breakdown when she saw the ad for Spring Hill. She's hoping that the decision to go isn't the worst one of her life.

【 Why are you at Spring Hill? 】 Atsuko Suffers from Anxiety and Anger issues. Most of the time he is pretty tame but if his "Routine" gets interrupted or someone disturbs something he likes or enjoys he will have massive anger episodes. On more than one occasion he's gotten into fights - losing because he really isn't a large boy and it honestly bad at fighting.
【 Residency 】 Atsuko has been at Spring Hill for 8 months
【 Negative Effects 】 Because Atsuko has been at the rehab center for quite a bit the medicine he takes has taken quite the toll on him. He has begun to experience blood thinning, even a small cut will somehow bleed much more than it should. He has also begun to have extremely high and dangerous fevers out of nowhere.
【 Positive Effects 】 Atsuko hasn't noticed it yet but his "fevers" are a sign of him coming into his power. Atsuko will be able to heat and body temperature - if he so desires he'll be able to bring someones body heat up so high that their brain will boil. Of course he has no idea how to do this yet or what the consequences are.

【 Biography 】 Atsuko was born in Tokyo Japan, however his family moved to America when he was just a baby. Being the oldest of three a lot of responsibility with thrust upon him at a young age. If he wasn't the best or if it seemed he didn't try in anything then he would get punished, this caused Atsuko to grow paranoid and anxious. He felt like if he didn't study all the time or if he missed out on any tutoring opportunity then his grades would suffer. The punishment's he endured seemed innocent enough on the outside but for Atsuko they were taken to the extreme. Getting a B instead of an A meant being locked in his room after school for a week. His homework was consistently checked and he was forced to do study guides and exam prep worked made up by his father.
Once Atsuko got into high school it was clear that he had issues with keeping up with others. He just couldn't comprehend certain things and if something frustrated him he would get intensely angry. He had very specific things he liked and if they were taken away he would feel like he was being threatened. His parents didn't understand this and would take the things he enjoyed which only made him act out even more. Soon his angry fits caused him to start fighting. Atsuko was a small and lanky guy so he lost most of his fights - this caused him to turn to bullying the small nerds.
Atsuko barely graduated from High school and was rejected from the one college he applied to. His parents had pretty much given up on him. Atsuko spent most of his time playing video games in his bedroom. He would get angry and upset if he was given any chores. His parents soon just left him alone - they were defeated. Atsuko soon found a group of people he liked online and they asked him what he wanted to do with his life. This was when Atsuko realized he didn't know what he wanted out of life. He knew he couldn't play games forever. This scared him so much that he decided to get help. That's when his parents pushed him into going to Spring Hill.

and does Spring Hill consist of just a building, or is it a small town (or other sizable community)? More specifically, I am wondering if Spring Hill might be in close proximity to any town/individual not part of the conspiracy.
I would prefer anime or as close to as possible, i would accept illustrated if it's well done. If anyone need help with pictures i do enjoy picture hunting.
Spring Hill is like a large rehab center that's located away from anything large. It has a massive wooded area around it. I plan on making floor plans, i just need to find a good program to do it with. @Lurking Shadow
On a side note I have two characters. A female woth Genophoboa and depression. A male with Anxiety, paranoia and anger issues.
Ok, just asking as most of the art styles used in anime is something I prefer not to use, I like a more realistic style. I'll see if maybe I can find something I'd like to use for a appearance.
and on the second thing, I was trying to get an idea of how isolated this place is from the rest of the world, so I take it is at least several days of a walk away from any other sign of civilization?
and the idea I got in my head (as far as anything wrong mentally) is of a guy with an overactive imagination who has trouble which previous events was real and which he just imagined. think something like that'd fit in?

Walking, it would take at least two days to get to the nearest town. It's a government facility masking as a rehab center so it can't be close to anything in case something goes wrong.

kind of, though I was thinking more of having trouble distinguishing previous events he personally has experienced. like having multiple conflicting memories.
