O'Ner Faister

O'Ner had a blank look on his face form Umber's statement towards him, He was fully aware of what the other demons and undead were capable of. But he didn't care as long as they served Aklenroth and were not incompetent, He would not have a issue with them or the others. Just nodding his head keeping quiet as he felt a argument was unproductive to their cause. Looking over at Azriel and nodding when he finished speaking, "I agree" He spoke as the amora landed in the Fairy River Kingdom. The tall skeleton stood up and touched Tu on the head, "It is time" He spoke in a whisper to her. Her face looking up at him acknowledgment of what he was saying.

The two of them left the air ship and out of the amora, He was not going to enjoy the carnage and pain he would deliver to his enemies. However he was going to inflict this pain to serve his master and further his plan to eradicate the humans. As he walked out he got up his horse to ride looking onward towards the land.

It was quite a beautiful sight, He wished he could live in this land but of course he felt he would not fit in. And that he was a undead general.

Time: Dawn
Location: Morteum (The Necropolis.)

Aklenroth left the war room, floating down the halls of his Necroplis to Shilo's room. He opened the door to see him lying there in a state of rest. "I have to do this." Aklenroth said emotionlessly as he put his hand on the boys head, absorbing his soul and body. Shilo faded from existence, dust replaced where he had once stayed. Muscles, flesh and skin began to spread from Aklenroth's hand up through his arm and around his body. It took quite some time to complete the process. The body was a strange, forgotten feeling to Aklenroth. He began to feel something else, something he had thought was but a memory. Aklenroth looked at the large mirror on the wall and stumbled towards it falling to his knees in front of it. "So this is who I am." He thought to himself as memories of his life began to go fill his mind rather viciously, causing him to grip his head. His eyes widened and the pain of so many sudden memories. Thoughts of his parents and friends he once had.

He was frozen, kneeled over as even more memories began continuously exploding in his mind. He began to remember when he was creating the DROMs with the other elven leaders. Times of joy, times of sadness... Everything that he could remember was coming in all at once overwhelming him with the pain of all these emotions at once. Aklenroth fell completely to the floor, lying there motionless and helpless to everything that was happening. It would be about twenty minutes before he was able to fully function and adapt to the body.

Time: Dawn
Location: Heart of the forest
Interaction:@Dezuel-Elthrael @Jamesyco-Jean-Luc

Elsea listened as Elthrael explained that he thought the other group had made it out alright. She was glad that he had felt that way, but also hoped that he was right. If they were to defeat this tyrant king then they were going to need all the allies they could get. She wasn’t a fighter by any means, but she was willing to learn what she could. She knew, however, that her biggest asset would be to learn how to control her magic. That was going to be her best way of fighting.

She continued to listen, focusing most of her attention on him though she would occasionally sneak a look down to the forest floor. She was still getting used to being so high up and she felt butterflies in her stomach every time she would look down. They were slowly starting to dissipate each time she stole a glance down, however, and soon she knew she could maybe help scan the forest floor for the other group.

He began explaining how he had once lived in the River Kingdom and why he no longer lived there. Her heart felt a twinge of pain as at the mention of how the other inhabitants of where they were going had wished for his parents to cast him aside because of his appearance. How cruel someone must be to suggest a parent do such a thing to their child. She found herself silently beginning to judge this River Kingdom and the people who lived there.

At the mention of his parents deaths her heart seemed to break even more. Elthrael truly hadn’t had an easy life and had been wronged by so many. She was impressed that he didn’t seek vengeance on the ones who’d wronged him as she certainly would have. In fact she did seek vengeance on the ones who tried to burn her at the stake. She had spit foul curses at them before she had been sucked into this world, hoping that someone would cause Scotland to fall. She hoped that something terrible happened to all of them. When he fell silent for a few moments she found herself moving just a bit so she could kiss him on his cheek. ”It sounds like you have been through Hell and back all for how you look. People may fear you for your appearance, but I don’t.” She told him as she gave him a kind smile.

Elthrael’s words helped put her a bit more at ease, helping her trust him on the fact that he wasn’t going to hand her over to Aklenroth. The skeleton man had made pretty promises, but there was something about it that she didn’t trust. That and she really didn’t want to be sent back home as she would just be put back in a situation where death was waiting for her. At least here she had some freedom.

She listened closely to the rest of his words, at how Avalia was in desperate need of a new ruler, how she and the others of her kind held magic unlike anything else in this world, how everyone was going to need to eventually make a choice. It was a lot to take in, but she he spoke true, especially the part about her magic. She could see the part of the forest ahead of them that had been damaged by her fire. She needed to be able to control her magic otherwise it could destroy hers and other innocent people.

”I still don’t understand exactly how I got here and I recognize that being here is dangerous for me, however, I don’t wish to go back to where I came from. Yes there is a possibility that I may die here, but if I were to go back death would be a certainty. So I think I wish to stay here in Avalia, to possibly make this my new home as it seems the better choice right now. So I will fight to protect this place, I will learn how to wield my magic so that I can help you. We’ll make Avalia the best place it could ever be, I promise you that.” She told him, giving him a smile back as she felt herself forming a bond with him. It was small right now, but she knew given time it would grow. She would stick by his side and help his cause.

After a few moments her attention was drawn by something else, something in the air. Some sort of magical structure flying towards their destination and she got a bad feeling about it. ”Elthrael, what is that?” She asked, fear obvious in her voice as she pointed at the Amora. ”Something isn’t right about that thing, there’s something...dark about it. I think we should land, I don’t think we should get closer to that thing.” She told him, almost sounding desperate to land. It almost felt like they were being watched by someone. Her eyes began scanning the forest floor quickly when she spotted something. She almost hadn’t noticed it as it was quite hidden, but at a second investigating glance it looked almost like a hut. "There, look! Doesn't that look like a nice place to land?" She suggested as she pointed at the hut, trying to convince him to land. There was also the slight glimmer of something and she looked to it. It appeared to be a person, but they were still too high up to make out enough details. She didn't know if they would be friend or foe, but she felt better about landing there than continuing towards that thing.

For the remainder of the ride Azriel stood staring out the window, watching things pass by underneath them. She remained quiet as well, funding no need to speak as she just hoped the ride would be over soon. She wanted out of the contraption despite the fact that the flight went smoothly. So when Umber commanded the Dark Elf to stop she was thrilled.

She was about to turn away from the window when something caught her eye. She used her keen eyesight to take a closer look. There appeared to be a fairy flying towards them and he was carrying something...no, someone. She could make out the red hair of the woman and she found it curious that she was being carried. If it had been any other day she wouldn't have thought much about it, perhaps thinking that the fairy was flying an elf somewhere, but as there was the report of humans being in the land she found it slightly suspicious.

Her first instinct would have been to exit the Amora early and head towards the flying figures, but her training told her it was better to wait. Never underestimate anyone, it would be foolish of her to go after them without at least Umber. So she noted where they were and turned away from the window, deciding to bring it up once they met with Xenelith.

Umber made mention that he could sense the Dark Elf nearby and she grinned. "This shall be interesting for sure." She told him as she made her way towards the exit of the Amora. She was aware that Umber may have picked up on what she had witnessed moments ago. She even allowed the image to play in her mind for a few moments so he could note where they were at as well. "Perhaps this will be more fun than we initially anticipated." She said quietly to her friend as she walked past him was a dark grin before she followed O'Ner and his horse out. They needed to find out what Xenelith knew.

Elthrael Vol'Kerno

Time: Morning
Location: The sky->The haven (The hut)

The kiss on his cheek given by Elsea caused his attention to turn to her, looking her over. Such boldness...

"Hell? What's that? Fear itself is not necessarily a bad thing, it keeps you from doing foolish things. But I see." He gave a soft smile, his golden eyes looking over Elsea in a curious manner, then setting his sight ahead again.

"Possibility that you may die? I will not let you die. Good to hear you be willing to bring this world to the future it deserves..." The fairy gave a confident smirk, then noticed a flying construct ahead. An Amora. About the same time that Elsea pointed it out and asked what it were.

"That is an Amora. A flying transport for those unwilling or unable to soar the skies. It be giving you ill feelings? Then we've certainly ought to go by your intuition, for such things are most often correct. And down there? Hmm..mm.. let us do so then." He gave a glance over towards the Amora, he too had felt something about it. A stench in the air. A stench of evil.

He decided to take Elsea up on her suggestion, so he began descending slowly. He didn't want to make any fancy air dashes or manuevers which could draw the Amora passengers attention, or had they've already seen them. Their interest. Elthrael held unto Elsea steadily as he began to descend, his wings acting almost like a parachute as he allowed himself to float midair on the way down towards the hut, his wings would begin to flap the closer it got to the ground, he stretched the dark wings widely, making his presence known to those by the hut.

Thus he descended, looking indeed like a demon with golden eyes, horns, sharp cornerteeth and mothlike wings. He landed softly, and immediately let go of Elsea, momentarily letting his left hand index finger caress her lips, then point up towards the sky, reminding her that there could be possible trouble so they had to not make a scene. So fire displays were obviously not wanted. Elthrael's golden eyes began to search the surrounding area, he stood still however, his blade sheathed. His arms now crossed over his chest.

Upon catching sight of the inter-dimensional immigrant, Kuroi stops in his tracks upon hearing, smelling, and seeing the patrol of guards that were talking to him. At this point, Kuroi wasn't sure what to do and merely froze in his tracks, watching the scene unfold from afar. Part of him was curious to continue pursuing this human, his curiosity was too great. The other, bigger part of him urged him to go back home and rest up for his journey tomorrow. He wanted nothing to do with human bounty hunting and the event unfolding before him had completely ruined his plans of wanting to do a small good deed.

With an exasperated sigh, Kuroi decided to stop creeping in the dark and walk out into plain sight as to pass by and make his actions more natural. After all, lurking this late after midnight could land him in trouble. Especially if humans were involved.

Once he got his bags of money, he was mounted his horse once again, and he saw a familiar figure out of the corner of his eyes and he rode up to the fox man, "money is something people need to live in a city... this is enough to own a small town maybe even a small garrison army." he said looking down at him, "You look disappointed, I know meeting your first human isn't that wondrous or exciting, but those men who I got these fine bags of coin from, well... they were my enemies either way, and I'd rather make a profit from it, and it seems protection... "

He leaned down to the mane of his horse, and smiled, speaking in a low tone, "now, I've got a few idea's, since I'd rather have the rest of those I call brethren in mankind alive. I've heard of these things from gypsies I've bedded, every once in a while a few will disappear, and not return, or they will return. Just kinda depends, they are gypsies after all, their sorcery and witchcraft can't be trusted...but I bet there aren't a lot of 'em out there in these lands, so we best be hunting for them if they are as dangerous as that bounty states."

Grzegorz looked down at the man, "And it seems like there will not be many that we can help, each one of those rifts brought a few with them. So... since you may know this land a bit better, and well I don't, I'd like to purchase you as a guide, maybe... After, I get a certificate of protection from the sheriff or lord residing of this town, the one who can give me a pardon for all future towns, and acknowledgement for my name!" he yelled out, the horse turning towards the guards, "Escort me to the one who gives pardons and writs, I require that I have a certificate of peace through all lands of this great sky talker."

Kyran watched Jean as he walked off and turned towards Risa. "That didn't go as planned but it will suffice, eh?" He smiled, laughing it off a little. He had a tendency to joke around. "One moment, I will be right back." Kyran said as he ran inside returning with plates of food for both him and Risa, "Here you go." He smiled at her, handing her one of the plates. "You need to eat, you had a rough night." Kyran sat beside Risa and began to dig in, practically shoving the food down his throat he was so hungry. "Mhmm! Oh yeah that's it!" He couldn't help but exclaim. He loved food. He was so pleased.

Kyran finished his food almost as quickly as he had gotten it. "Thank you Risa, that was great." He said, setting the plate beside him and getting up to stretch. Kyran looked to the sky to see an unknown fairy or demon with a human land near the hut. He grabbed his spear off his back and charged at them. He stopped ten feet before them and pointed it towards the two of them. "Who are you? State your name and reason for being here." Kyran called out to them, prepared for a fight if one should happen to arise.

Risa took the plate gratefully when Kyran brought it out. Her stomach rumbled at the sight of the colorful, sweet berries and delicious bread. The eggs were still warm. Taking the plate in her hands, she began to politely eat it, a stark contrast to Kyran's behavior. She giggled at his exclamation. She had been brought up with particular manners, but always found Kyran's animalistic behavior rather amusing and a nice change. "I wonder why Jean can't eat. I'd truly like him to enjoy some too." She said thoughtfully to Kyran.

She could guess it might have been some sort of religious thing. Her grandfather had told her that humans had been strange when it came to their worship. Risa wanted to insist he eat somehow without offending him. The poor man had been through so much. It did not feel right to eat without him. She placed her unfinished plate down as Kyran was still eating and moved inside to try to bring Jean's plate out.

Risa took this moment to glance over at Dionaea. She was still sleeping. It was best they let her get as much sleep as they need. Her gaze traveled back to the table where a slip of paper she had yet to notice caught her eye. She moved over to the table, the paper becoming more obviously a letter as she moved closer. Risa took it in her hands delicately as she began to read it:

She bit her lip and held the letter in shaking hands. There was no going back now and she had to commit to this. Risa moved over to the sack of clothes in the corner and began to dress herself in a white, off the shoulder dress that went down to her mid-thighs. The sleeves were long bell sleeves. It was a pretty dress but much more conservative than she preferred. She picked up the long cape and pulled it around her. It was a delicate lavender color that almost matched her eyes. She buttoned the blue-jeweled button over her chest. There was a hood that could be pulled over her head if need be. She moved outside to continue her meal but found Kyran was missing.

Risa moved closer towards behind the hut to see Kyran pointing his spear at two people. "Always so friendly." She muttered as she fluttered her wings to take flight. She hurried herself over. The two were recognizable even from afar. The pretty red-headed human and very particular-looking fairy were an interesting sight. Risa smiled and ran over to throw her arms around Elsea in a hug, " I'm so happy you're okay! You were so brave to aid us!"She let go of her, unsure if humans enjoyed affection. Risa gave the moth-like fairy a hug as well, "Thank you for keeping her safe and coming to find us again. I am very happy you two are alright. Don't mind Kyran, I think he had been too occupied to notice you last night."

The ground would shake some in a very unfashionable manner. The source of the tremor, the bathhouse and more specifically, a slightly pissed off Jean. Water would pool around the door out of it, and he came out in his armor and clothing. The only difference between when he entered and when he left being that he and his armor were covered in water.

"To hell with whomever placed a bath house on a natural spring, and to hell with it." he muttered before he realized that there were others out in the courtyard.

"What in the name of god is going..." the girl, the redhead, and she looked like a whore and harlot, she looked at least somewhat modest, she was still naked before. Nothing on her head and she looked cut to pieces while in fetters. Then he saw the demonic looking fairy, and his eyes grew hateful.

"Demon!" he yelled out, "You have no decency in taking a woman in need and who is in suffering to your own recourse to abuse the power of a savior! You a disgrace to all saviors before you, and you have no honor." his hand and finger pointed out towards the man, "Girl of red hair, no harm of any kind shall come to you for the word of god asks that slaves of the earth be released from fetter and shackles of any kind, and to march upon those who do not believe in the word or believe in the freedom of all!" he yelled out. His middle aged for the time period voice booming out as the earth shook more, mostly out of rage then out of control for new found power.

Elsea hadn’t entirely thought of the fact that Elthrael may not know what Hell was. She, herself, didn’t actually believe in such a place as Hell, but thanks to her father she knew what it was and it seemed a fitting description of what Elthrael had been through. ”Hell is a place many from my world believe that a soul who has sinned goes to be punished and tortured in an eternal fire. It’s not a place I truly believe it, but I thought it sounded fitting for what you’ve been through.” She decided to explain as they began to descend towards the hut she had seen.

She glanced back up at the Amora once more, still feeling quite uneasy about it. Was she always going to have to keep on her guard in this place? Was this going to be her new life? She supposed it was something she was going to need to get used to, but had a feeling that was going to take a little while.

They landed and Elsea gave him a quick nod of understanding before she looked around. She would do her best to keep her magic under control as she really didn’t want to alert any of the enemies to their location. She didn’t realize that it was going to be a challenge, however, until the man with fox like features came charging at them. She felt a hint of fear at first, but it was quickly consumed by rage. ”Oi! Don’t be pointing that thing at us, fox boy!” She yelled at him in irritation as she took an angry step forward. She was halted in her tracks as one of the female fairies from the night before ran up to her and embraced her.

The flames she’d felt building in her veins quickly dissipated at the friendliness of the woman. After the moment of shock faded, she found herself hugging her back before Risa went to hug Elthrael. ”I’m glad we’ve found you all again as well. I suppose I can forgive him this time.” She said as she shot Kyran another irritated glare before looking back to Risa with a look of concern. ”I fear we may not be safe for too terribly long. There was an...Amora I think is what Elthrael called it? It was landing not too far from here and it gave me an uneasy feeling. Almost like someone was watching us.” She explained to Risa and Kyran.

The ground rumbling caught Elsea’s attention and she spun around to see a man had now joined them and he seemed upset. She stared at him a bit dumbfounded as he began to yell at Elthrael. ”O feumaidh tu a bhith a ’magadh orm.*” She muttered in Gaelic as she sighed. He then began addressing her and her eyes flew back to him once more, irritation beginning to fill her once again. ”Ach, seriously?! You can take your godly talk and shove it! This man you are calling a demon saved me, rid me of my shackles, healed me, and gave me a place to rest. What have you done for me so far? Nothing other than yell and make a ruckus with your….ground tremors! Now shut up and focus more on the fact that all this shouting and shaking of the ground may be alerting the potential enemies that just landed not too far from her!” She shouted at the human man as she pointed in the direction she’d last seen the Amora. There was the faintest flicker of a flame wanting to erupt from her other hand that sat at her side. She knew her own shouting probably wasn’t helping matters, but she couldn’t contain it.

*"Oh you have got to be kidding me."

Elthrael Vol'Kerno

Time: Morning
Location: The haven

"Aren't you the rude one, demanding others to give their name before you give your own. Unless your name doesn't carry any weight ofcourse..." Elthrael got a smug look on his face, as he motioned with his arm towards Kyran.

"My name is Elthrael, my reason for being here is mere... curiousity." His eyes scanned Kyran's stance and weaponry, he figured that Kyran would be at least some years younger than himself, thus he would have to be refered as someone younger. The dark winged fairy had the perfect name.

"Such a stance, it tells me your skills with that is akin to that of a child. Is that the scent of fur coming from you or is it fear?" He casually assumed a pose with his hands at his waist, with a smirk on his lips.

'A boy like this ought certainly not wave a stick beyond their control in my direction. I might just chop it off.' That's when the previously so lightly dressed fairy girl appeared, rushing towards them with a smile on her lips. Elthrael didn't think she was faking it, and decided to not stop her, watching her hug Elsea and afterwards going for him aswell. This caught him slightly by surprise. 'Oh? Such boldness indeed...'

As Risa spoke and hugged him, he took the opportunity to look over her shoulder to Kyran who stood there armed with his spear. 'Kyran hm? Oh I am going to love you...' The dark winged fairy set his eyes on him, and then gave a big smirk, before he leaned in to try give Risa a quick kiss at her cheek. Saying softly to her ear.

"This is how you greet others where I live..."

His eyes quickly darting to Kyran moments after and to the human which labeled him a demon, speaking with a booming voice that somehow made the earth rumble. He allowed the hug to come to an end and heard the human speak about him. "No decency nor honor? My you do know me... somewhat. The rest however, unfittingly untrue." He grinned, watching Elsea take a stand aswell. This was good in drawing out her power, although this moment would be not be the ideal one. It was too early for her.

Being located where they now were, a fight would only draw unecessary attention. The dark winged fairy quietly hoped that Risa would be able to make her companions stand down. In the worst scenario he would have to subdue them, where the human would no doubt prove to be bothersome. The fox eared boy seemed about as frightening as abit of rain on a sunny day to him. But he did have spirit. Perhaps the lich lord would suck it out of him?

"Welcome to Avalia, Rei. It is the land that will always take your loved ones from you."

Her words were as true as the fact that grass was green, especially for Malachi. Fighting for what you believed in meant paying the cost of everyone you love. Loving someone would hurt them more than hating them. Unfortunately, that was a fine line to cross. He had lost the last friend he had and he only felt numb. Now he had nothing to lose.

Malachi waved Kenia off when she told him about the blankets, "This is fine. My clothing provides ample warmth."
Malachi had slept a lot in the day so that he could stay up a lot tonight. He leaned against the wall and watched over the three for the next two hours before getting some sleep himself. He had awoken early anyhow to go fetch them food. When he returned, Kenia started to speak to him. He was able to get a better look at her now as the sun lit up the cave. She was rather pretty, he'd admit.

"I suppose I should apologize and thank you for last night. I was incredibly on edge. I don't trust people easily and I won't lie, I still don't entirely trust you, however, you did save us. Thank you for that and I'm sorry about your friend."

"That's alright. I wasn't so friendly myself so I should apologize too. I don't trust anyone myself. Many species, even elves are often self-centered. Thank you for your condolence." They didn't get to say much since Mr. Show-Off Aklenroth started his obnoxious display in the sky. He might as well have added fireworks. His voice filled his mind and he sighed. He should have known the old bone man was going to offer compensation. "The first rule of Avalia, never trust the skeleton man in the sky promising riches." He announced to the now-probably-awake humans.

The show finally ended, only for there to be an encore. The sounds of a horse-carriage filled the air. He jumped to his feet, scooping up Corvina in his arms. He glanced at Kenia as she spoke. "Hide the humans quickly near the back of the cave, there should be a little alcove they can be decently hidden in. I'll go down at talk with Terneus. You're a hunter that came across me last night while you were trying to escape the fire that had come too close to your camp. I offered to let you camp with me. You're on your way to Roshmi City to trade or something."

This plan could work as long as Lord Terneus was dumb as he was arrogant. He was well-aware of him. Malachi nodded to Rei to follow as they moved to the back of the cave into the alcove, setting Corvina down. He began to string an arrow in his bow in case. They already had broken the law by hoarding humans so there was no reason to not assassinate a governor if need be.

Kyran growled, bearing his teeth at the sight of the fairy demon, who called himself Elthrael, kissing Risa's cheek. No doubt he was using her to try to annoy him. He did not trust him at all and did not want him to possibly hurt Risa, who would probably be all-too-trusting. "You dare talk down to me, you pathetic excuse of a fairy look at yourself! I am stronger and more trained in combat than you think. Kiss her again and you won't have a face." He growled in anger, looking ready to lunge. He had a large temper and it always came out when it came to his friends. He controlled himself for Risa and Jean's sake. He sighed after collecting himself. "Let's get this straight. I do not like you, I want to kill you but I will deal with your sleazy ass later right now we have other issues. If there was an Amora, it is likely sending some of Aklenroth's forces to each city or that would be my best guess." He said, agitatedly. "We should get out of here as soon as we can. Who knows how strong they are. If they are anything like that dark elf from last night, we are in trouble."

His two knights stopped and were about to draw their weapons when Kenia appeared out of the cave, as she seemingly went down to greet them. She offered courtesy appropriate to someone of his standing, at least that was what he thought.

"Sheathe your weapons." He quickly ordered his two knights and then listened to Kenia, his eyebrows high above his eyes as he assumed a pose, almost as if he would model for a statue. Though he had commissioned those in the past, and often the grew unpleased by their size not being sufficient.

The white clothed elf began to stroke his own shirt softly. "Ahh it is you..." He said in a exhaled manner, as he was searching his memory for her name. "Keniaya? Oh ofcourse it is, it is not often I happen to grace others with my presence. I have an image to uphold after all, I cannot myself with the commoners. Not that you are a common commoner ofcourse. Your appology has been delicately noted and pardoned." Terneus said in a calm, arrogant tone.

"That is quite not what I wanted to hear. His majesty's dragon should refrain from burning his majesty's land. It leaves behind ugliness which is going to take much slave labour to remove. Oh it is quite the strain to guide the thickheaded at times. But that is the nature of the weak to listen to the more enlightened and wise. If you do happen to come across a human or a DROM, you will bring it to me at once. It would certainly look bad if someone else would get it in -my- lands before -I- do." He raised his hand to his chin, looking to the cave behind Kenia.

"Ahh the cave of wonders, it has been a long time since I was here. I do recall the most extravagant reflections in those crystals in there. Since I am here, I might aswell spoil myself a little bit, to set aside the usual burden of governing the people who are in grave need of proper guidance." Terneus beckoned his knights forwards towards the cave, looking to Kenia. "Well then, I'll give you the task of being my guide. Not that I don't know the way, I know -all- the ways. Always. It is just so that I have a very soft spot in my back, which is telling me it would be a shame if you passed up this opportunity to scout ahead or whatever it is you do, it is ofcourse not negligable in skill, but rather a little bit above mediocre, I would hate if someone would sell your skills short. Oh did I say there will be much coin if you do happen to find a human. I have some arrangements made for any human which his majesty is going to receive." He chuckled in a hohoho manner, fanning his face with his left hand.

"Anything for our glorious race' achievements. There might even be a statue of you, albeit smaller than mine, if you do bring one or two my way. I am on route to the fairy kingdom, a dreadful place with all those buzzing sounds and people with no sense for buisness, holding on to some naive and misguided beliefs of good. When all the goodness they need to acknowledge is me. But I may be expecting too much out of those without manners and good sight. Unlike our elven keen senses." He said in a condescending way towards the fairies, not doubting for a moment of his elven superiority which Kenia shared. To a less degree in his eyes, but still.

Risa blushed when Elthrael had kissed her cheek. She giggled, not thinking much of it. "That's a funny way to greet people!" She planted a kiss on his cheek back and let go of him, not wanting to be rude and disrespect his culture.

Her eyes traveled back to the red-haired girl as she spoke about an Amora. "Oh no. That could be very bad. We should get far away from here. It could be anything I suppose but just in case." Risa replied to her. The ground started to rumble and Jean came over, looking less than pleased. He started raging on that the fairy was a demon and Elsea his victim. She awaited for Elsea to finish telling him off, but she nodded in agreement with her words. Risa took Jean's hand and tried to plead with him, "No, no Jean! Never judge people by their appearance! It's not nice. Remember you are in a different land, okay sweetie?"

Then Kyran began going off on Elthrael and she did not really understand why. Risa put her hands on her hips, fed up. "Honestly! This is childish! We must all be friends in this hard time. Humans and Kyran, please no more shouting. There are many foes we have to face and alerting them to our location will be so dangerous." She gave everyone a very unhappy pout to finish her statement.

He stared at the insolent redhead girl, do nothing, I stood there and fought, she ran away with that coward. She would be a coward if she was a man.

"He was no danger to us, common beasts and magic are nothing to stone and steel... if that girl can breath fire and I bend stone to my finger we are unstoppable." he said staring at them, "I say we attack, they are sitting ducks where they currently are... If I can break the stone and release a stone into that demonic creation in the sky then it will bring it down like an arrow to a water fowl."

He stared at them, "Or are the cowards going to run from something that can fly while being chased down by dogs? I have a way out, but I intend to fight. I intend to see what I am up against and drive them mad when they see me. As it seems you can lift a person... I bet they will be able to do the same."

"Kyran, get the girls behind the house, you will find a hole. Go into it, fire girl... you will be their light source, and find the pathway down into the aquifer which is the lakes source for it's water. Demon, you will prove your worth and stand beside me... Kyran, do not forget the girl in the house, she is hurt and will most likely need to be carried out if she is still under awaken."

He brought up a spear and pointed it at Elthreal, "Stand beside me, and how well do you know plays? You seem to have a good weapon and such, yet you live in a forest like a cowardly highway man trying to steal for his life and rob women of decency as you do not fight along side those who do right..." he stared at the man, "So... how well do you know everyman or mankind?" he asked as he expected the others to act as if his words were law.

Kyran's eyes widened as he caught on to Jean's plan. "I know what he wants us to do and we should trust Jean. There are usually cave systems in aquifers. Elsea, we are going to need you to ignite your hand as a torch when we go into the caves. I will get Dionaea from inside." Kyran said before he ran into the house to wake Dionaea up. "We need to go and fast." He told her as he shook her awake. Once she was awake, he grabbed her hand before she could reply and pulled her from the bed. Once outside, he yelled in a rushed tone. "Risa, Elsea lets go!" He beckoned him towards the back of the house.

So many things were happening at once and it all just fueled Elsea’s irritation, however she knew she needed to keep herself in control. She took a quick calming breath, but it didn’t keep her calm for too long. She glanced back at Elthrael who seemed to just be antagonizing Kyran and she rolled her eyes. Now was surely not the time to be playing such games. If there were enemies on the rise she did not feel prepared to face them as she had no idea how to control her magic. It responded to her emotions, yes, but it was unpredictable. She had just as much of a chance of hurting those around her than landing an actual blow on the enemy.

"Oh no. That could be very bad. We should get far away from here. It could be anything I suppose but just in case."

The female fairy spoke her thoughts exactly, she didn't like being so close to the Amora. She took another breath, knowing she needed to keep from shouting anymore. Her attention was turned back to Jean once more and rolled her eyes again. "Your words are doing wonders at inspiring anyone to listen to you. She said to Jean after he called them cowards, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Her eyes began to scan the area, watching for potential enemies along with searching for a direction to go or a place to safely hide.

Her eyes flicked back to Jean once more as he began ordering them around and she scoffed. "You must be completely daft if you think I'm going to leave you two alone with each other. You'll probably kill one another." She crossed her arms over her chest a bit defiantly. "Besides, who decided you were the one in charge? You have no knowledge of this land or the people that live here. You have no clue exactly what they're capable of. So why would I ever trust you in a land that is a stranger to both of us? I'd much rather listen to the natives." She exclaimed with a shake of her head.

Kyran began to speak, explaining some of what Jean was planning on doing and she was left with a decision. Perhaps they would have a better chance in a cave system, but who was to say that they enemy wouldn't find a way to follow? "And how, pray tell, do you expect me to light our way when I really have no control over my magic? Sure I understand that some of its connected to my emotions right now, but that is unpredictable. Perhaps I can create a small flame, yet again perhaps I create a massive eruption of flame that burns everyone. If that's a chance everyone really wants to take then fine. I'll go along with this plan, however, I still don't trust Jean and Elthrael alone together. So why does he need to stay here with Jean as well, someone explain that to me?" She knew she was being stubborn, but Elthrael was still the one she trusted the most at the moment and she couldn't justify leaving him behind without a good reason. Not unless he was okay with it all too. She realized the urgency, but she needed answers first before she followed Kyran.

Xenelith

Time: Dawn
Location: River Fairy Kingdom - Dark Elf camp
Interaction with: O'Ner@Eviledd1984, Azriel@Tae and Umber@FunnyGuy

Xenelith was hunched over a make-shift desk, observing the map of the River Kingdom. Special carved pieces denoted the presence of rebels, his own Dark Elf troops and various other possible forces. On the side rested a whole bucket of zombies. To be used to mark the coming hordes’ flow. Various reports laid around on the map. Rebel activity, resources, scout reports. There weren’t many of them but in the coming forty hours it’d grow to a mountain. From here he would lead the war and rule through the right of conquest. Such was the Dark Elf way. Behind him stood a more complex device of pulleys, gears, chains and hourglasses. One hourglass was marked with a particular piece and was the only one running. Through Xenelith knew Leandron wouldn’t be back in two hours.

He didn’t expect any important news to arrive before then. But it did in the form of a hurried Dark Elf and an unexpected Amoras, bearing Aklenroth’s crest. Xenelith sped out of his tent. Ferra and his other three wolves were quick to follow behind him. He instantly recognized Umber and Azriel. Them separated would’ve made it guesswork, but there were only so many dark angels and demons working together. The undead he did not recognize. “Gentlemen, my lady.” He greeted in the traditional Dark Elf fashion: slamming his fist against his chest. “I'm Commander Xenelith. I did not expect any of you, though your presence is greatly appreciated.” He stood at ease again. As far as he knew, none of them outranked him. And if they did, it couldn’t be by much. He bid them to walk with him towards the tent with the map. “I’ve found some rebels here last night. There were three fairies and a demi-human fox. There were also two humans with them. A terra- and pyromancer. I’ve got sketches in my tent.” Then he stopped talking, allowing the others to talk about their own mission.

Time: Morning
Location: A quiet stream, South of Orc Landing
Interaction with: Darius, Skar, and Myra @13org

"God I miss cars! I like a good workout, but how far is this place? You sure fast travel doesn't exist?" Darius whined as the three walked off the beaten path. Skar had mentioned that all roads lead to other people and the ragtag group needed to avoid as many people as possible. Darius had a high price on him and the group had a long way ahead of them.

"SHUT… the fuck… up?" Skar attempted to mimic Darius while trying to yell at him, but she was finding it hard to speak like him. To her, he spoke as freely as an orc did, but he used many words to express himself like an elf. Darius looked at Skar with a smile.

"Oooh! Shots fired!" Darius laughed before looking at Myra who was still holding her bleeding meat. He was worried that it could go bad on her if she held onto it for too long. "Skar you want to camp out real quick. Just to eat and maybe rest our feet?" Darius asked Skar who sighed before nodding her head forward.

"Stream ahead. We rest there." She wasn't from this area, but she knew it well in her travels to and from Orc Landing where weapons and drink were plenty.

Myra was notably less agitated than she was a while ago when she saw the Lich's image on the sky, but judging by her wary expression as they proceeded, she still didn't like the idea that much. That said, Myra was somewhat amused by Darius and Skar's conversation. While she didn't understand absolutely anything about Darius was saying as he used some weird words, the tone both of them were using and their expressions were indeed amusing. Especially how Skar changed tone as she spoke, she began yelling but it changed so much that it was rather curious for Myra.

After a while, Darius asked Skar if they could rest for a bit. Myra was already able to smell water when Skar mentioned it, but her having mentioned it was enough for Myra to understand that they would indeed rest there. While she knew Darius didn't eat meat, she wasn't so sure about Skar herself. Looking at the big pieces of meat she was holding, she extended one of them towards Skar, silently asking if she wanted to eat some when she got to the river. She had already seen a few of the green giants hunting, so that meant she surely could eat meat... right?

"Hmm…" Skar looked at the demon offering her meat. She questioned the demon's motives as demons always had their reasons for doing things. Why demon can't be simple like orc? Skar crouched down and hesitantly moved to smell the meat while Darius watched with a grin.

Finally! My girls are sharing! Darius wished he had a camera so he could take a picture of this moment. Their difference in size made things even funnier. Skar identified the meat as still being fresh, but it would need to be cooked before she could enjoy it. Orcs could eat raw meat when desperate or lazy, but it was normally better to cook things. Skar held a hand up to nonverbally tell Myra to wait.

"Wait, demon. I make fire and cook meat." Skar offered, which was a little out of the norm. Maybe she was just hungry or Darius was using some strange magic on Myra and herself. She suspected it for a while due to how the man could cooperate with an orc and a demon so easily. "Darius. Watch camp. Demon, watch Darius." Skar ordered as she walked from the stream and deeper into the forest to find wood to make a fire. Darius gave a quick thumbs up and placed a hand on Myra's head.

"Wait why are you making HER watch me?!" Darius called out, but Skar left unimpeded. He looked at Myra and then at the stream. "Skar will be gone for a bit and Myra is… she's something, but not like a regular person…" Darius raised his right arm and sniffed under it. He needed a shower before he arrived in Avalia, so the mild musty smell wasn't a surprise. It was time to take advantage of the stream before him. "Myra, watch… watch that tree. Don't look at me." Darius instructed, waiting on how the demon would respond to his words.

Despite her initial hesitation, Myra was glad that Skar accepted the meat she was offering her. It might be just a small thing, but it was already a step in the right direction in order for her and Skar to trust each other. Interestingly enough, judging by how happy Darius was upon seeing that, he also knew the importance of that small act.

With the meat in hands, Skar went deeper into the woods to do something, maybe she didn't want to eat in front of Darius or Myra? Or perhaps she didn't want to share... Either way, before she walked away, she told Myra to watch Darius. Even though Darius seemed to have something to complain over what Skar said, she was already gone.

Looking towards him with a curious expression, almost as if she was quite literally 'watching' Darius, just like Skar asked, she simply observed him as he looked at her and then to the river near them, with a thoughtful expression, mumbling something. Even though she didn't understand what he meant other than that Skar was gone and her name, the second he raised his arms and smelled himself, his intentions became clear to Myra.

Maybe Myra should have expected but when she got closer to Darius and sniffed the air, she quickly gave a step back, shaking her head due to the smell. While it wasn't particularly strong, it was still strange and unfamiliar to Myra. It tickled her nose in a rather unpleasant way.

When Darius pointed towards the tree, gesturing for her to turn around and look at that tree, she turned her head towards where Skar went and then to Darius again, looking at him with watchful eyes. Skar told Myra to keep looking at Darius, didn't she?
