I blame @Altered Tundra. Anyway, I'll rely on him to keep me up to date on this RP since it looks like you have a full slate as is. Best of luck with this!
@Ambra Quick question (last one I promise): when you wrote "short biography", how short did you want us to keep it? I'm figuring a novel of life history is out of the question but what exactly do you want to be included? Just the overall deal-eo with our characters and their life's story?
"Don't be scared, he's just sixteen-hundred pound friend!"
Name: Jason Flanagan
Nicknames: Big Red, Monster Mash
Aliases: The Kaiju King, Master of Monsters, Mr. Unova (5 years ago)
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Origin: Castelia City, Unova
Appearance: Jason is a truly massive man, head and shoulders taller than most people, and covered in thick slabs of muscle. He prefers athletic wear when acting as a trainer or member of the Elite, but in more casual settings will wear things like jeans, boots and flannel.
Personality: Jason is a boisterous character, full of emotion and a love for life. Everything he does he puts as much as himself into as possible, be it laughing, crying, training, or battling. He respects strength most of all, but understands that it comes in many forms. Though he can be overbearing, he is an inherently kind soul, and doesn't want to use his strength to hurt anyone.
Short Biography: Jason is from Castelia City, where he was an awkward youth due to his size compared to other children his age. However, around the time that most children start their Pokemon journey, a freak accident in the city took place. A trainer from far away lost control of their Tyranitar, who destroyed an entire skyscraper. No one was seriously hurt, but it was a serious shock to the city, and especially to Jason. He was awed by the Tyranitar's power, and became enamored with the strength of huge and monstrous Pokemon, who he found common kinship with. He found an egg when exploring in the rubble of the skyscraper, and the Larvitar that hatched from it became his first Pokemon. Jason spent his journey traveling to many different places and discovering what mighty and monstrous Pokemon lived there, and training with them to maximize both his and their own terrifying power. He became a member of Unova's Elite out of recognition for his strength after many years of training and dedication, and was loaned to Sinnoh's elite out of a desire to use his strength to help wherever he could.

Special Moves: Dragon Claw, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Superpower
Name: Jaeger Species: Golurk Gender: N/A Ability: Iron Fist Appearance: More grey-green compared to most Golurk, and the flames of its jet thruster are blue. Special Moves: Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Drain Punch, Ice Punch
Name: Princess Species: Feraligatr Gender: Female Ability: Sheer Force Appearance: Princess is hulking compared to most Feraligatr, with thick limbs, and huge claws and fangs. Personality: Duke is as lazy as most Slaking, but seeing his master or friend being harmed fills him with unquenchable fury. Move Set: Crush Claw, Dynamic Punch, Fire Punch, Gunk Shot
Summary: A kind-hearted master of massive, monstrous Pokemon.
Jax ⚡ The Crimson Bolt ⚡ 27, Male ⚡ Twinleaf Town, Sinnoh
Appearance:
Throughout his life, Jackson has always been criticized for his golden hair and eyes that tend to match it, if not a shade or two darker. But as he grew up he went from being too clean-cut to rocking a spiked style. When paired with a more muscular body, the scrawny kid from Twinleaf Town became a force to be reckoned with. And to say that he sprouted up is an understatement. As his best friend, fellow Twinleaf rival, and brother from another mother would vouch, in his teens, the then-4’11 Jax shot up nearly a foot and a half in one summer. Now a proud 6’3 and culminating over 250lbs of overall body mass, Jackson “Jax” Drake is not one to be trifled with, especially when it comes to hoodlums such as the now-defeated Team Plasma
There has always been a sense of comfort when it came to Jax’s approach to his outfits. As a new trainer, he usually sported a white T-shirt, red sweater hoodie, and black pants, but as the years went on, he matured his style until he was fairly certain what was his true identity. In addition to a muscular body, Jax became obsessed with showing off his goods. Something about pride and wanting to be complimented on it drove him to do away with the jacket altogether. He still wears black pants like he usually did, though he may be seen with blue jeans as a common substitute. As far as shirts are concerned, however, it’s sleeveless all day every day, babay! He also wears heavy-duty boots that are perfect for when he takes his summer vacations in the high alps of Mount Coronet.
During one of his training sessions, Jax’s Jolteon (on Jax's command to show he was one with his Pokemon), told Jolteon to shock him. It went as horribly wrong as one might imagine and the result of that was, at the time of this particular incident occurring, a nasty wound centered around his right eye. Surprisingly, he didn’t lose any permanent use of that eye. He was blind for about a year and his constant reminder of that fateful day is a lightning-shaped scar above and below his eye. Aside from that, he has a black tribal tattoo on his left arm.
Personality:
“Never judge people from how they appear.”
A sentiment that couldn’t be any truer than when thinking about Jax. He is the embodiment of there being more than the borderline-arrogant, confident man who favors over-the-top theatrics and passion than modesty. He is the sort of person who has always been high on energy, which has almost been at the point of being too much for people to handle. Whether it was the lightning bolt he took from his Luxray or the number of times he has been hit in the head, there’s no denying that Jax can make any melancholy situation light-hearted with his electric feels.
Now, don’t get anything twisted. His high energy doesn’t mean he is without compassion. In fact, since he has such a bold presence might indicate that he feels more than anyone else in the Elite Four, because it’s true! He might be the first to annoy his fellow Elitists but he is also the first one to be there when they need a friend. He, along with his childhood friend Bryan, is also the first one to be on the frontlines in any regionalized threat, such as the past problem with Team Plasma. This is just a sign of his hero complex. And sometimes that resulted in him missing out on getting badges before his friends/rivals. Nevertheless, he made it to where he was meant to be!
Short Biography:
From the moment he could muster up a single thought, Jax’s life had always centered around Pokemon. It was as predictable as one might assume: grow up in a world with pokemon and you’re gonna want to explore said world as much as possible. And that’s what Jax did, but he wasn’t alone in this. He had traveling companions but above all else, he had a childhood friend who always pushed him whenever he pushed just a little too hard. They fought, they went on pre-trainer adventures in the tall grass even though they shouldn’t have, and when the time came for them to venture off on their own adventures, they became Pokemon Trainers.
For a couple of years -- well, more or less seven years -- Jax was active in the Pokemon League scene. He went to the gyms, collected the badges, persued the dream like all did to become the Pokemon Champion. Though he never got the championship itself, his losses taught him a valuable lesson: he was never done being a student. So, at the advice of his mentor, a former Elite Four member from the Hoenn region, Jax decided to travel for a few years. He went anywhere and everywhere: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Unova. Anywhere he could to discover new things about himself, he did them; and he would say he was better for it.
Sometime in his early-20s, now a seasoned veteran and a second-place participant of the Silver Conference, Jax returned home a different man. Those who might remember him wouldn’t recognize him. He was skinny when he left to journey the other regions, but having fought foreign enemies, made foreign friends, and caught and seen Pokemon he only heard in stories, the man who returned home was ready to give it one final shot. With a team comprised of Pokemon from all over, Jax made one final attempt at the Pokemon League. Gym after Gym, he obtained the badges and fought whoever wanted to challenge him. Then came the time. At the prime age of twenty-four, he didn’t do it but experience and skill paved the way for Jackson Drake, the Bolt of Sinnoh, to be granted admission into the most Elite of the Sinnoh region: The Elite Four. With his powerhouse team that was equal parts power and speed, a new man was brought to the region.
Jax Drake had made it.

Pokemon:
Name: Blaze Species: Infernape Gender: Male Ability: Blaze - Enhances fire-type moves. Appearance: No unique features. Personality: Blaze is what you would call a pokemon who acts long before thinking, which Jax was the same when he had Blaze. Both are bold, both are impatient, and both will fight until they can't any longer. So obviously his oldest pokemon is the truest representation of Jax. Name: Elektra Species: Jolteon Gender: Female Ability: Volt Absorb - Absorbs all eletric-type moves that boost special attack and mildly heal overall health. Appearance: Has a dark yellow coat of fur instead of the yellow lighter shade most Jolteon has (but it's not a shiny). Personality: [Give a couple of adjectives that describe the Pokemon] Despite being an electric-type, Elektra is quite calm and mild-mannered. She also is quite timid and might not engage like most Jolteons. She's also pretty modest despite being one of Jax's strongest pokemon, but she's proud too. So there's that. Move Set: Agility - Learned through natural evolution as Jolteon Wild charge - Learned through natural evolution as Jolteon Double Team - Learned through TM Shadow Ball - Learned through TM
Name: Ripper Species: Skarmory Gender: Male Ability: Keen Eye - Prevents accuracy from being impaired and also ignores the foe's general evasiveness capabilities. Appearance: No unique features or changes from other Skarmory. Personality: Ripper is energetic and loud and quite brave. Move Set: Metal Sound - Learned through natural evolution. Steel Wing - Learned through TM Sandstorm - Learned through TM Night Slash - Learned through natural evolution.
Name: Raina Species: Gliscor Gender: Female Ability: Hyper Cutter - Pokemon is immune to strength/attack reduction. Appearance: Queen's armor is almost a lavender color as opposed to the male's deeper purple shade. Personality: To be quite frank, Queen is very lazy and rarely wants to do anything, though that doesn't mean she isn't capable. She's fiercely powerful and equally proud of her strength when she wants to be. She is definitely an extension of Jax's own pride in himself. As a result, there's a part of her who can act quite mischievous while bordering on impish. Move Set: Earthquake - Learned through TM Sky Uppercut - Learned through natural evolution as Gliscor Toxic - Learned through TM Taunt - Learned through TM
Name: Polo Species: Poliwrath Gender: Male Ability: Water Absorb - Absorbs all water-type moves and heals itself from damage taken. Appearance: No differences whatsoever from other Poliwrath. Personality: Polo is a bit of a loner and when approached, he can be a bit nasty to others. Jax is the only one it is calm near, but otherwise it will fight those it has been near for years. Unless given a command, it will stick to its own devices, but when in battle, Polo is hardy and refuses to give up. Some call it foolish but other might just say it's adamant on winning. Name: Thor Species: Electivire Gender: Male Ability: Motor Drive - Electric-type damage increases speed. Appearance:
Personality: Thor's somewhat of a comedian. He's very showy in that he takes after Jax in liking to gloat a bit. Safe to say, it's not very modest and quite proud of its own strength. In a fight, much like Blaze and Polo, it's quite brave and stubborn. It has the same light that refuses to go out that is a mutual trait that is shared with Jax and the rest of his team. Move Set: Thunder - Learned through natural evolution as Electibuzz Flamethrower - Learned through TM Ice Punch - Learned through TM Electric Terrain - Learned through natural Evolution as Electivire

Appearance: Ikkou is a slim, short young man at 5'6'' (170cm). He is as wimpy as he looks, and relies on his Pokémon for a lot of things during his travels. He usually wears loose, flowing clothes and robes in multiple layers. He often times appears with several cuts and bruises, but he will assure others it's nothing to worry about and just due to his medical condition.
Personality: Ikkou is a rather subdued person, but that doesn't mean he is shy by any means. He likes meeting new people and discovering new things, but he can take a hint and knows when to leave people alone. He is good natured, and goes out of his way to help others even if they don't want his help. Although he likes to be around others, at heart he is an introvert and a lot of excitement such as loud and crowded public events can fatigue him quickly. When overwhelmed, he can get a bit spacey. He wants to make up for his mostly sheltered childhood and volunteers for a lot of things. He loves with his whole heart and can't forgive people that hurt others. As one of the most recent editions to the Elites, he knows he has a lot to learn and tends to follow the leads of the more senior members. He is particularly interested to hear stories from the foreign Elites that have been visiting them.
Short Biography: Ikkou was born somewhere in the Sinnoh region and quickly brought to the "Foreign Building" where he was ultimately raised. The building was a place for the lost and needy, and like many other children and Pokémon Ikkou spent the majority of his life there and in Hearthome in general. The city's people were warm and kind, and Ikkou never felt unwanted or out of place there despite his mysterious infancy. Despite being a rather weak child with a rare medical disorder, he grew up loving and being loved in return by Hearthome's citizens and the Foreign Building's staff in particular. Because of Ikkou's weak constitution, the Building's staff raised him gently and intended for him to take over the management of the Building when he came of age, something that Ikkou consented to. Still, as he aged he felt a strange feeling well up within him whenever he looked at the various Pokémon Trainers going about their business. Eventually, he realized it was longing - not for them but for their lifestyle. Hearthome was the city where hearts touch each other, and people of various cultures and beliefs met and connected. Ikkou thought he was content to develop these connections in the safety of the city, but there was so much more out there in the world he wanted to learn about. Still, he didn't have the drive to leave, so he stayed at the Foreign Building for the remainder of his childhood. Then, he met someone who would change his life. That someone was a Chingling who had wandered into the Building one night. Ikkou heard it's soft chiming cry and found it wandering the pews of the main hall. He didn't know if it had been separated from it's family or abandoned by a trainer, but either way he took it up to his room to keep warm for the night. In the morning he was awoken by the Chingling's ringing as it run about the room, getting into every nook and cranny. They two bonded and he named her Rinrin. Rinrin was a hyperactive little thing, and it dragged him along to investigate pretty much everything within the city. Still, it had a clear desire to explore more of the region, just as he did. His heart broke over not being able to go with it, and he became depressed and lethargic as Rinrin grew more and more restless, thinking one day she would leave. The Foreign Building caretakers - the ones he'd come to know as family - noticed his change and behavior and talked to him about it. After an intense discussion, they told him that though they were worried about his safety, he was free to travel as he liked. Ikkou was ecstatic, and with a promise to return often he ran upstairs to pack what little material things he had right away. He found Rinrin there and hugged her as hard as he could, and his pure energy transformed Rinrin from a Chingling into a Chimecho. Since then, the pair have traveled around the majority of the Sinnoh Region, getting into and out of trouble as well as making a wealth of new friends. Growing up in Hearthome made him curious about all life, including regions outside of Sinnoh. He was particularly interested in fairy tales growing up, and that's extended now into his young adulthood as a fascination with mythologies in general. Ikkou discovered that he was actually a talented Pokémon trainer, something he never would have known if he hadn't gone on his journey. So talented in fact, that when he challenged the Elites after being recommended to do so, they offered him a spot! He still plans to eventually take over at the Foreign Building, but for now, all he wants is to travel with his partners and do his best as a member of the Elites.
Pokemon: Ikkou's Pokémon have a spiritual or mythological flair to them. Their battling style relies mostly on confusing the opponent with non-damaging moves such as status effects, weather changing, healing, obstruction, etc. They're quite the bunch, but sometimes they do manage to have some synergy with each other.
Name: Rinrin Species: Chimecho Type: Psychic Gender: Female Ability: Levitate Appearance: Rinrin is a Chimecho on the slightly smaller size for her species, at about 1'3'' long (40cm). Other than that, she's a perfect example of a normal Chimecho. Personality: Rinrin's nature is Hasty. She enjoys flitting everywhere and investigating every little thing. Her more excitable personality contrasts with Ikkou's more relaxed one, and in fact it was Rinrin that ultimately got Ikkou to leave his old life and pursue the adventurous one of a Pokémon trainer. The other implication was that said fans knew where to find him even when he was in public, but he doesn't seem very concerned about that. Back to Baku, it's mostly content to dream the day away, and in that way it's sort of like it's trainer, but it will gladly follow Ikkou on adventures too. Signature Moves:

Even though I just dropped my CS for review, can I ask exactly how many players there are before I 100% commit? I know you've already opened it up to more than just the Elite "4" and Champ, and I'm scared of a huge cast for this ^^; just curious, still interested though. Plus I know you wanted a more equal gender ratio anyway and just from peeking there are 3:1 males to females (and I planned a male too).
Edit: realized I left a few things out on the CS, will fix that asap
@Yankee I'm super glad for your excitement, but it would be nice if you join our Discord first. Our talk mostly occurs there, and we discuss things about sheets that don't happen OOC.
I'll PM you the link now. Please join so you can see the announcements, have any of your questions answered, and etc!
"Don't take me lightly, I can scream really, really loud!"
Name: Wren Delgado
Nicknames: Wren
Aliases: Sinnoh's Punk Rock Princess; Wren the Winning Warbling Warrior Woman
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Origin: Hearthome City
Appearance: Wren's hair used to be a nice, refined dark brown but after an incident involving hair coloring she's got faded red tips that she can't exactly be bothered to maintain which makes her short, oft unkempt, hair a unique blend of, as she puts it 'chocolate and cherry'. It works for her. Kind of. Mostly. She's rather short, which doesn't help her blend in as an actual adult, standing at just around 5'4" and that's with tiptoes. Her style tends to be black t-shirts (with cute characters on them that she swears aren't cute), skirts, and black boots (with pink laces...it's a look, shut up). Her style shies more towards 'chic punk for posers' than out and out punk as she claims but...again, it's a look.
Personality: First things first, no matter what someone might say Wren wants everyone to know that she is absolutely not 'cute'. She's 'cool'. She's 'punk'. She's 'tough'. Any other descriptor and she's likely to puff her cheeks, stomp her foot, pout her lips, and march off - often while plugging her ears - in order to sulk in her room until someone came in with an apology sweet (cake, specifically gateau, being her favorite). It's often difficult to take Wren seriously no matter how she tries to be taken as such, because, inadvertently or otherwise, she doesn't come off as 'cool, hip, punk rocker' but as 'teenager going through a phase but not really'. This makes her either incredibly annoying - particularly when she has to raise her voice (which is often, sometimes just for fun) - or too precious and adorable. It's the latter that Wren is trying, and failing, to do away with. She's cool, okay? She's the coolest and the punk rockiest and it shows in her style and her Pokemon!
Just because she might act like a little teenage rebel doesn't mean she is one. She's a little adult rebel!
Short Biography: Though Wren was born in Hearthome City she considers herself something of a world traveler, having been to many different regions which might be seen as remarkable only because of her comparatively young age. However, the reason for her travels was less a journey of discovery or traveling across the land, searching far and wide for the power that's inside but rather because she and some friends decided the best way to make it in the highly competitive industry of music and Pokemon was to do a world tour...to whichever venues would accept them! Wren, before becoming Elite, was a musician first and a trainer second. She was the vocalist and bassist for a very 'garage punk' band that called themselves 'Purrloin's Nasty Plot' up until they decided that 'Absol-ute Territories' was more fitting and slightly more clever.
The band was hardly an international hit, though they did manage to produce one album that charted...just barely, and radio play became a thing once Wren became more known as a trainer than a musician - but by that point the band had split over 'creative differences' which was a fancy way of saying 'everyone else wanted to mature their musical artistry while Wren still just wanted to play loud and fast'. It worked out well enough; having been in the band since she was fourteen and living the punk lifestyle, Wren focused her efforts to battling instead. Even when she was in a band, they would have battles between sets or before encores (not their encore, they were barely an opening act most times!), and Wren won far, far more often than she lost. She just had a weird knack for it, aided probably by her thinking of battles as concerts with her opponent being the crowd who wanted nothing more than to go home amped up. It made more sense in her head. Regardless, with her unique style and approach to both battling and team selection, Wren has proven herself to be a capable battler when she wants to be, enough so that, even with her young age, she is one of the newest members of Sinnoh's Elite.
And no, punk is not dead, it lives on in Wren who is absolutely sure it's not a phase.

Name: Robyn Marie Springs
Nicknames: Springs
Aliases: The Dancing Queen, Breaker of Souls, The Block-Rocker
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Origin: Castelia City, Unova
Appearance: Robyn stands at 5'9", and weighs 118 lbs. She is of African-American descent, her skin is a light brown, and she has light brown eyes that some swear shine gold in the moonlight. She wears her purple-sheened black hair pulled back in a ponytail that ends at her shoulder blades, but leaves the bangs hanging out front. She has tattoos of the Chinese symbols for determination and dance on the lower left and right sides of her back, and she has a large scar on her right leg, around the knee.
Her outfits consist of a variety of plain low-cut t-shirts, zipper up hooded sweatshirts with a variety of graffiti-styled designs on them, shorts that barely go halfway down her thighs and tights that cover up the rest of her lower body. The constants in her outfit are a bright orange scrunchie that she uses to keep her ponytail in place and a gold plated chain carrying a pendant with an aquamarine stone set inside of it.
Personality: Robyn has a tendency to be a little bit ditzy in social situations, but that doesn't hamper her energy levels. She's still willing to give as much as she can to whatever cause she sets her mind to, be it making a sandwich or being a Pokémon League champion. However, that raw passion can get it into a lot of trouble at times, as she tries to step beyond her limits or into situations she doesn't really understand. Luckily there isn't much that meets that criteria anymore.
The other side to her passion means that she is quick to learn whatever she can about the field she is in. It was how she was able to become so good at crew dancing in a relatively short amount of time, and why she is relatively knowledgeable on Pokémon in Unova and Alola. She is quick to share info with whoever is around, even if they don't ask for it. This also means that she is not very good at keeping secrets. In her blonder or drunker moments, she'll be blurting out confidential information without realizing it.
Short Biography: Robyn was a dancer for most of her life, starting in ballet as a child, before joining a street crew at the age of 13. She was good, able to do aerial moves that most of the other dancers could only dream. Her crew, Rock Steady, scored an audition for Unova's Got Talent. However, during the audition, Robyn was thrown incorrectly and landed hard on the concrete, shattering her right knee and breaking both her wrists. Her parents couldn't afford the proper surgery and as such, her dancing career was over at 18.
Rehab sucked, and Robyn repeatedly grew frustrated until one day she ran away from home into Pinwheel Forest. There she found a battered Petilil that she took back to Castelia to heal. She was going to bring it back to its home, but instead ended up keeping the newly-christened Nina. Her friends and family convinced her to take on the Unova League challenge to try and earn the money to pay for the necessary surgeries to fully fix her leg. Robyn had nothing to lose so she tried. She didn't lose. She won the championship with Nina dancing past the competition with ease. The Elite Four was no match for the Flowering Pokemon. Robyn had enough money for surgery and enough to take a trip after.
The Castelia City native headed to Alola after that, desiring a tropical paradise and a new challenge. She worked her way through the trials there and soon reached the summit of the Alola League as well. She was seemingly unstoppable. The Alolans wanted her to stay as champion, but she was only a tourist. She returned to Unova and was approached to become a member of their Elite Four, if not a Champion contender along with Iris. She accepted this offer and settled in as a daunting opponent for anyone looking to try and come for her throne. With Sinnoh looking for substitute members to rotate through it's Elite Four, Robyn is playing tourist again as she headed to the Northern lands.

She hates country and adult-alternative music. - She knows she can still dance. She just chooses not to anymore.
Appearance: Jirai's axilla-length hair is light blonde, marked by the occasional slightly darker strand. While her eyes are normally cloudish-grey, they seemingly grow darker when it rains. She never goes anywhere without her signature bluish-grey cloak, which is specially woven to prevent her from being soaked even in the heaviest of downpours - and she is rarely seen with the hood lowered.
Personality: If you were to examine each member of the Elite of the Sinnoh region, you would most definitely come to realize that Jirai is the least outgoing of them all. Usually donning a visage of solemnity, she is visibly unmarred by most other emotions. She takes each battle - each duty she is bestowed as an Elite - very seriously, refusing to allow herself any distractions. If there is a task unfinished, she will be finishing it - or planning its completion with mental vigor, should she not be in the position to do so physically. Despite being rather distant by normal social standards, Jirai is far from emotionless on her own time. She shows great affection to her Pokémon, sharing tight bonds with them, and is able to communicate well amongst them while forgoing most speech. Beyond her Pokémon, very few people see this less rigid side. This is because Jirai believes that many battles can be won before the Pokémon are ever even released from their ball. By being one of the most mysterious and potentially one of the most unpredictable Elite, she can sow fear - uncertainty - into the thoughts of those who would oppose her. This also has a second, more unintended effect of amassing her a weird following of individuals who want to try and see what's behind her stoic mask, or admire it. If she were to allow anyone to see her softer side though, it would definitely be one of the other Elite.
Short Biography: Jirai hails from the ancient, respected city of Eterna. A city connecting the past and the present, it sees a good deal of activity - especially considering it sits in between a number of other cities in the region. Having been orphaned to one of the older residents of the city, Jirai lived a fairly sheltered life. Her elderly guardian, Jessamine, was a strict woman - but still one of love and compassion. Throughout her childhood, Jirai grew up participating in and enjoying activities that one would usually attribute to an older person; sewing, knitting, watching soaps in a rocking chair, etc. Such...thrilling activities were what she grew up on - what she enjoyed - at least, until she grew a bit older. As she started reaching her mid teens, she grew mightily curious of the world of Pokémon. She'd had moments of fascination before, but those were just that - moments - and the only Pokémon she ever interacted with were a few of Jessamine's cats. Eventually she couldn't take it anymore. She begged and begged Jessamine to help her catch a Pokémon of her own. At first, the woman declined outright - but she couldn't say no to that cute little puppy-eyed face forever. Soon enough, Jirai had caught her first Pokémon. A Golduck that she named Kimi. After a couple years of growing curiosity and slow training, Jirai soon learned of a local team of villains known as Team Galactic. She'd never heard of such mean-spirited people. One day deciding to try and talk to one of the grunt of the group, she'd soon come to realize that not everybody in this world was as nice as Jessamine. The grunt and their Pokémon attacked and fainted her Golduck just for sport. Jirai sat on the ground and cried over her Golduck's unconscious body for hours, until Jessamine finally found her and dragged the both of them home. From that day forward, Jirai swore she would grow strong enough to teach Team Galactic a lesson - and not just them. She never wanted anyone to go through the pain she had that day of being mocked for her weakness - she would deter all evil-doers from imposing their mean-spirited ways on the innocent citizens of the Sinnoh league. After some years of training and making new Pokémon friends, Jirai was more than strong enough to teach those who had wronged her a lesson. But she knew it wouldn't be enough. She needed to help others, too. She enhanced her training, her new vigor bolstered by the love of her Pokémon. Her strength and that of her friends soared, finding themselves more than a match for any ne'er-do-wells within reach. After so many years of training, she decided to put herself to the test and challenge the gauntlet of Sinnoh's best trainers. Seeing as though she is a member of the Elite - she obviously succeeded, now using her position as an Elite to help her protect the people of Sinnoh.
