I have a matter of utmost urgency to discuss. We must decide what sort of baths we have at the Chateau. Large, marble roman style? Open air onsen style? Or perhaps something more conventional like tubs and showers? We must discuss and decide for...reasons. Well mostly I was thinking of writing a scene in one but I'm not really sure which way to go with it, also I am sure everyone will find this topic extremely important.

Open air Onsen is the classic Japanese style, however as {| || || |_} is a very much American person, he's not familiar with such things. He prefers more of a communal showers, private saunas/hot tubs, and a co-ed swimming pool, more or less a very fancy YMCA sort of set up.

Conversely, M177013 is familiar with bath houses in Korea due to his family there, which has gendered hot-tub and washing facilities as well as these rooms with the warm rocks and calm ambiance. The baths should be a place of quiet relaxation with no noise but the flowing of water, not even music or loud scrubbing. The waters itself isn't just plain heated water, but both medicated and herbal, so you don't even need soap. Just soak and relax.

Graft's chapter probably just has cleansing vats filled with god-knows-what.

I spent a night in a Korean bathhouse once, quite a nice place to be sure. Even had its own little restaurant, mats you could just pull out to lie on, and all sorts of weird rooms with different stones and woods for various effects. That of course was on top of the baths and saunas down below, quite the wonderful experience. Afterward I went on a tour of the DMZ.

Anyway, either one would have to enter someone's territory to take a bath or else there is a more communal one for everyone else. Hmm, well I can also just put one in the barracks for all those non-affiliates. Otherwise need to know which areas are open for non-members.

the Beast Pen's arena, being Colosseum, defiantly has a roman style bath house attached to it for post training rinsing and relaxation

Mamoru likely has a private bath just for herself, and the bone Butlers do laundry for their equipment and clothing. As for the skeletons themselves, they usually wash by destroying themselves and later being reanimated from magic. Saves time and resources as each butler is renewable.

Y'know, this entire discussion makes me want to make new aquatic character whose primary job is to look after a communal bathhouse. Im imagining it would be kinda like Spirited Away, in that it has to cater to a variety of different monsters. Maybe even a healing springs? Hmm...

Please, vats are so unhygienic. The Factory has a singular decontamination pod that's like being in a power washer. Gets the job done.

Graft, Papillary, and Tabula would probably be amazed by normal baths.

You all talk about baths. Why not just make the dirt/germs/grime go insane and die at your touch? No need to bathe!

They are nice though, just you don't get many when you guard a vault for so many years xD.

On that note though, you would think that Deka_Ribbon would have added a hot spring or onsen to the shrine, but she didn't. The reason being limited space. As such, there is an old japanese-styled bath that can handle several people at once, but it's nowhere big enough to facilitate all the miko at once. Hence, bath-schedule.

Isolde has a self-cleaning program, so she doesn't need baths or showers. She does enjoy splashing around in a large pool though, preferbly with a dolphin-floatee....

Charme can turn the Wishing Well into a luxurious bath fit for a high-class lady such as herself. Of course, she's a selfish madame who is loathe to share this extravagance with the rest of you plebs.

As for communal baths for all the members of the Chateau. There's space in the cellars. Could have some shower rooms there, or a set of large communal tubs. I don't think a swimming pool is in the cards though, it seems rather arbitrary and something that the Bandersnatch guild wouldn't really add - considering they could just go to any beach in YGGDRASSIL if they wanted to horse around in swimsuits.
