Lance Banner

Location: Galactus' Ship - Chitauri Room
Skills: N/A

The Chitauri just kept blasting at the group, and now one took notice of Carolina shooting at them through another one of them. A blast went flying and slammed into Carolina with enough force to send her back to her own body, and the alien she had possessed was completely annihilated, there wasn't anything left of it at all now. She probably would be glad that she wasn't there anymore or something like that. Another few blasts went flying out, hitting the others as well. This time the blasts were enough to break through the armor of the group for the most part, causing burns to appear on them somewhat.

Lance was really starting to not like the idea of not having one of the suits at the moment, as he got thrown backwards by one of the hits, and was really really trying not to shift again. His head was starting to pound, and he flew out of the way, using his powers to more or less get out of the way of the Chitauri so he wouldn't get blasted by them again. He saw that Elizabeth was over at the other end of the room near the door, one of the Chitauri would have been able to hit her, but that blast hadn't been too bad compared to the others, at least she was already against the wall.

Flying over, his hands started moving rather quickly as he managed to get the door to pop open, "Alright everyone let's get out of here!" he said as he glanced back at the others. He hadn't been paying much attention to what the others were doing, so he hadn't really seen the bright lights that Annie had caused, not to mention he was trying to keep himself surrounded by light, so he wasn't really paying much attention to them as he headed through the door. Anyone who walked through the door would find themselves in a very large circular room, with a door about 30 feet above them. "...So, guess we have to go up slightly again, fun."

Marygold Isley

Location: Galactus' Ship - Hallway

"I'm all for the not feeding the giant any sort of planet all things considering," Mary said, more or less snapping out of whatever it was that had taken her focus away from what was going on.

"Well I mean, that would be hilarious overall if you ask me... But also somewhat terrifying if there are more horror movie creatures on this ship... What is this, kind of Cabin in the Woods with all the creatures or whatever," Pietro said with a small laugh, looking over at Bethany and shaking his head ever so slightly at the thought. Still a bad joke Guina! And bad jokes are bad!

"Well... Self isn't too sure why they are all here... But yes, probably something like that. Self was on an abandoned planet of sorts when I ran into the big purple man and his silver friend. Self was brought here by Surfer and put into the menagerie."

"So... Essentially, yeah, what Allison said... He brings some people here from different planets and locks them up like some inter-galactic zoo from the sounds of it."

"Yes, self friend Allison is right. Not necessarily from the planet they were found on, but if they were on a planet he consumed some were brought up here."

"Alright, that's a good thing to know over all... But not sure if we should release them or help them out because some of them are most certainly not friendly as we've discovered..." With those last words, the group would come to a door, and Mary glanced back at Allison and nodded in response to her comment about her vision. "Okay, be careful and don't go rushing forward since he could try to kill us, that is definitely a good thing to know."

"Through door there will be a large computer room of sorts, almost to the device we are. Self knows for a fact, Surfer is sometimes nice and let's self wander around the ship." Warlock said matter of factly, nodding his head.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Galactus' Ship - Flora Colossi Room

"I am Groot!" one of the trees said towards Neil, sounding a little bit annoyed about something, before it made a motion for him to drink the water that was in the bowl. A few of the others gave each of the other three (Sara, Iris and Mira) bowls of the exact same stuff in it.

"...Guessing they want us to drink it," Mira said before she started coughing a lot from her throat being sore still. She wasn't all too sure about this, considering the fact that they had just run into the creatures, and considering the fact that they had run into a killer gorilla that was telepathic, things weren't always what they seemed. However, she figured that if the trees were being somewhat nice at the moment, she didn't want to really insult them regarding the water. Not to mention her throat really was starting to hurt a lot from all of the talking, and shrieking from earlier. She usually carried around a bottle of water or something to make it easier to deal with, but that was kind of difficult.

"I am Groot!" it said again, clearly wanting them to drink the water still.

Letting out a bit of a sigh, she decided to go with what the hell considering the fact that the trees might not let them through if they didn't show good will. "...Well bottoms up I guess," she somewhat croaked out, before she brought the bowl to her mouth and took a drink from it. It had a weird after taste to it, but she found the pain in her throat instantly start to fade away. "That is kind of weird, like, insanely weird..." she said to the others, her voice sounding a hell of a lot better. The trees were nodding their heads and clearly were glad that she had taken a drink of the water.

"I am Groot," one then said, pointing directly to the door, allowing them to be able to see the door more clearly, and nodding it's head, wanting to let them through now.

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1)
Skills: Telepathy, Electronics and Computers
"Or maybe you need psychic contacts?" Guin asked Allison. It definitely seemed that the Silver Surfer was some all powerful being that they had no chance of defeating - so it wasn't that surprising to hear that he could block out Allison's visions, yet it was still a huge blow to moral. Allison's visions allowed them to more or less preview what was going to happen. She liked having that advantage. Guin grimaced, wondering which one of them was going to be hit with a blast. She was pretty sure she'd be the one that the Surfer would react negatively to - Allison was too sweet, Bethany was quiet and moody, Pietro was... Pietro, and Mary tended to be quiet lately too.

Whereas Guin on the other hand was a Stark - mouthy snark and sarcasm was in her DNA. I'm definitely going to be the one the Surfer attacked in Allison's vision. Yay me.

No you won't be!

Have you met me? I'm definitely going to rub the Chrome Dome the wrong way, Guin pointed out to her fiancé. She hesitated for a moment, not wanting to go through the door and enter the computer room Warlock described. She was alive at the moment - in danger, but alive. She couldn't help but have a bad feeling about them all going off to face the Surfer. Against someone that powerful, she wondered if they'd all make it out in one piece. "We should try to free those imprisoned here - it's the right thing to do," Guin said, stalling slightly. "Maybe after we get the device, I can hack into the systems here, release them all."

I'd stop you from getting hurt.

She gave Pietro a smile. I know. She then pushed on the door, only to find it was locked. She couldn't help but be slightly relieved, it bought them a little more time. It didn't buy them too much time though, as it was relatively easy for Guin to reprogram the electronic lock and open the door.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: N/A
Neil had already taken a tentative sip of the water, causing him to be a bit flustered and confused as the ent insisted that he drink more of it. He didn't feel like he had been poisoned or anything of the sort, so he supposed that it was alright. "Okay, okay..." he then drank the rest of the water in his bowl. It tasted weird - and reminded him of something his aunties might have made to drink during the Hare Moon. The strange taste wasn't bad however, just unique. And he did feel a little better, as if he had just received a health pack in a video game.

His face then paled.

They had fought their way down here and now, all of the sudden, they were being given a chance to heal and rest. He had played enough games to know what was coming next. "Guys... I think whatever's through that door, it's gonna be a boss fight." If they had any real life equivalent of a save point, Neil was pretty sure that would have happened too. But since this was real life, if they died in the upcoming boss fight, then that was it. They were dead. They couldn't just walk that off to come back from it. "We're in a room of nice ents after being attacked by a killer gorilla of all things - and we're being offered healing items... That's video game 101 for a boss is next."

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship,
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany shrugged slightly at Mary, she wasn't going to actually suggest it though if she was Galactus she would just eat all of the uninhabited planets instead of ones much like Earth. "Pluto would give him a really nice brain freeze or something though just saying." Bethany said before dropping the subject all together. And followed behind Warlock towards the door, and turned towards Pietro and smirked a little bit at the reference. Though she didn't like the idea of being in Galactus' little petting zoo for the rest of her life if he did end up eating Earth completely.

"Cabin In The Woods is a really awesome movie to." Bethany said, as soon as they were in front of the door she looked towards the others, the Ultimate Nullifer should be on the other side. "I'll step through first." Bethany said as she shadow traveled herself through the other end of the room seeing The Silver Surfer there, just in time to see him blast something invisible. She had to assume that it was probably Carolina, no one else on the team had invisible powers, and astral projection was the closest thing. The vision that Allison saw had just happened. She quickly held up her hands in a non threatening manner, and then removed the faceplate of her helmet looking at The Silver Surfer. "I just want to talk before you blast me is all. We just want to save our planet before Galactus eats it." Bethany said calmly.

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina turned to see one of the Chitauri had seen her attacking the others, and instantly turned and attacked the one she had been controlling and instantly was pushed back into her normal body. Breathing heavily as Carolina felt it briefly and seeing where she had been the Chitauri that she controlled was completely gone now. She was just happy that it wasn't actually her own body, and quickly flew over using the suit to get to the other side of the room. She stopped and turned her head briefly seeing Annie's hands sparking with fireworks a bit which was really interesting to see. "I think that's a new power maybe." Carolina said to her, she was glad that her friend got something pretty cool.

As soon as the doors opened Carolina went on through and looked up at the door that was above them. "I think that's where we need to go to. Let me go and check whats on the other end first though." Carolina said as she astral projected herself again, and went through the next room. Seeing the Silver Surfer was standing right there what appeared to be a computer consoles of sorts scattered around the room with the Ultimate Nullifier right there as well. "I can see you." The Silver Surfer said, and then blasted her out of the room, and quickly went back to her body looking at the others. "So the Silver Surfer is on the other side, but the Nullifier is there with him to.." Carolina said softly, still surprised that he even saw her in the first place since no one ever saw her astral form at all.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills:

Antoinette’s eyes widened as she watched Elizabeth get hit as well but much worse than the others. Elizabeth didn’t let the injuries stop her though as she attacked the Chitauri and made for the door Lance had opened. Antoinette didn’t hesitate either and took the opportunity to run after the others into the hopeful safety of the next room. She looked up, seeing the next door on what would be the ceiling. She had the faintest recollection of Alice In Wonderland and smiled a little at the thought of thinking impossible things. Their whole lives were a bit like an impossible thing. Her face plate dropped and she looked at the others, unaware Carolina had left her body until she spoke up again.
They were close to the Nullifier now. So close but they had another major fight to get through. They had been warned about the Silver Surfer before being transported to Galactus’s ship and now they were about to face him. Antoinette looked down at her hands, twitching her fingers and wondered what type of new power she had developed. It was a gift to be given yet another power and she wasn't about to squander it. The only thing with a new power was it being unstable and not very controllable but in a situation such a this, something big and powerful as a new, untested power would be an asset Antoinette thought.
”Should we come up with a bit of a plan before we go on through?”

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills:

“Damn right, they’re adorable! They’re like, the cutest things I’ve seen, like, this whole week!” Iris exclaimed, wide adoring eyes glued on the Treeple™️ and the Treeple™️ alone. She moved the hand she used to wave over her chest, giving a small introductory bow. “I’m Iris. Good to meet you Groot! Or...Groots?” she said, a questioning tone taking over the second part of the statement. Her curious gaze turned downward to the bowl of strange water being presented to her, and her eyebrows crinkled together in confusion. She took it, gazing down into the water, strange herbs floating in it. She looked back to the tree things, her look of confusion replaced by one of skepticism and distrust, her lips curving into a frown. Often even cute things hid sharp teeth behind their adorable little kissable faces. Wolverines - the actual animal, not the mutton chop metal claw guy - had taught her that much. She cast an unsure side glance over at her team.

"I don't think this is a very good id-" she began, but stopped herself as Neil took the tiniest sip of his bowl of water. She watched hesitantly as Mira followed suit, drinking her entire bowl, which prompted Neil to finish his as well. Iris lifted the bowl up close to her lips, but the two didn't connect right away, instead waiting as Iris watched her teammates to see the effect it'd have on them. When Mira's voice came out clear, Iris' expression softened, a exhaling a breath she didn't know she was holding as a small smile returned to her face. She slammed back the drink, feeling the refreshing if slightly odd tasting water slide down her throat. As she pulled the empty bowl away from her mouth, she felt relief wash over her sore body. It felt good. She looked down at the herbs left in the bowl and, unsurprisingly, her mind only asked one question: could she smoke this stuff? It was something she definitely wanted to try. She wasn't sure exactly how she'd get more of the stuff, but she knew that, one way or another, she'd make a magical healing doobie. She lifted her head, about to ask the Treeple™️ for some more of the herb, when Neil started talking. She turned her head to him, tilting it slightly. "Why would we have to fight their boss? Wouldn't they not help us if their boss was evil?" she asked, before realization dawned on her. "Wait, is that a video game term? Because I've never played - Oh, wait, no, my dad made me play Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing when I was a kid, so there's one." she said, before looking back to the Treeple™️. "That was some dope tea! I don't mean to sound selfish, but do you got any more of those herbs?"

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Galactus' Ship (team 2)
Skills: N/A

Eliza shuddered as a blast hit her again. This wasn't her best day so far, even if things had been going pretty well beforehand. She supposed there was a learning curve to this whole x-woman thing, but acknowledging that didn't help mitigate the pain in any way. Scurrying through the door, she found the nearest spot that gave her total cover, and relaxed a bit. "Anybody have any tips on not getting hit?" She sputtered, rubbing her burns in an attempt to calm down the pain a bit. "Y'all make this stuff look easy, but it ain't." Looking around a bit, she hoped the Chitauri weren't following them, needing a break from dealing with those monsters.

As she took a short reprieve, she looked at Antoinette and said, "How on earth do we plan for something we know nothing about?" This Surfer character was a big question mark as far as she was concerned, and wasting time planning would only give him more time to prep for them, "I say we strike while the iron is hot, rush in there, and grab the nullifier as fast as we can. Best I understand it, our goal is that. Once we have it, we get out of there." That seemed like the best course of action to her, and short of the time it took her to regain her composure, she didn't want to waste a second.

Bethany
The Silver Surfer turned his head towards the sound of Bethany's voice, and he tiled his head to the side as he seemed to ponder her words. Suddenly in a flash, he was standing in front of her, "Unfortunately, that is not my choice to make. Sadly, it is my job to ensure that no one disrupts my master's plan. I apologize, but you may not interfere with that. I tend to try and lead him to uninhabited planets, but this time he would not be dissuaded from Earth, so once more, I apologize, but this is not something you can prevent, you have to get through me in order to do it." With those words, he put his hand on Bethany's shoulder, she'd feel a strange jolt of electricity almost, more like a static shock then anything, but that was it. He then moved his hands swiftly and she ended up getting thrown backwards, back through the door that she had entered the room from and ended up on the ground back where she started.

“Brace yourself, young warriors - we are nearing the belly of this intergalactic beast!”

"...So that is not a good thing, at all... Wait, if the Silver Surfer is here... Then what the hell is everyone on Earth doing? Weren't they supposed to draw him out hopefully or something? Unless he was able to take them all out easily, or clone himself or something, then why is he here if they were supposed to draw him out?" Lance asked, glancing back at the others now, not too sure what to think about all of that. This guy was not supposed to be there, he was supposed to be back on Earth, this certainly was going to cause some problems.

They at least knew that he was in there, so they could be prepared for the fact. Problem was that the instant that door opened, the Surfer would know that they were there, that was an unavoidable fact. They couldn't stop that, and they would need to proceed with caution through that door. "Alright, let's do this then, we can't put it off much longer, and we've got to deal with the Surfer, at least we know he's there, so brace yourself for a fight I guess. Let's hope for the best, and probably expect the worse..."

With those last words, he flew up to where the door was, looking at it, and after messing with it for a few moments, the door popped open. The instant that it did, he ducked inside behind a nearby console of sorts. Luckily for him, it didn't seem like the Surfer noticed him, as he seemed to be looking more directly at a different door now.

"I'm not sure that this is going to end well..." Mary muttered as Bethany more or less disappeared from view to try and scout out the room in front of them. This was not a good situation, and it could likely end up killing them or something if they weren't careful at this point. Her mind was racing to try and come up with something, before it seemed like just an instant later Bethany was being thrown back out into the hallway despite having gone onto the other side of the room. That wasn't concerning at all, as she looked into the room and saw that the Silver Surfer was staring right at them.

"You should leave while you have the chance to," he said simply, looking over at the group as he was partially floating on his silver surfboard (if it wasn't obvious as to how he got his name).

"Yup, you all are so completely screwed!" the voice in the back of her mind taunted, but Mary shook her head slightly to get it out of her mind, or to more or less try and ignore it. Right now they were stuck in a situation that could cause them a lot of trouble. Warlock had said that he could potentially be reasoned with, but based on the fact that Bethany was thrown back out of the room from the otherside over to where they were, that likely wasn't going to happen all too much.

"Are you okay Bethany?" Mary asked her, before turning her attention towards the Silver Surfer again. How the hell were you supposed to reason with him? This was not an easy situation to be in, but it seemed like Warlock had a few things to say.

"Self friend Surfer Man! New self friends need the device in the room!"

"Unfortunately Warlock, I cannot let that happen. No one is getting the device, it is much too powerful to be in any one person's hands. Especially humans, Galactus himself even stays far away from it."

"Oh."

"If they wish to obtain the device, then as I mentioned to their other companion, they will have to go through me."

"...You know I was really hoping we could avoid fighting or something, but it doesn't sound like we are going to be able to, but that was kind of predictable I suppose," Mary said, as she messed with the suit slightly, before she managed to get a few plant seeds out of her pocket, and the seeds turned into vines that wrapped around her right arm, and she looked at the Silver Surfer. "Guess we'll have to do this the hard way."

Anyone who drank the water would find that all of the injuries they had sustained by being thrown around by a telepathic gorilla would disappear, any pain that they had would suddenly be gone as if almost by some form of magic. Seemed like the trees were fairly nice, and one of them shook their head in response to what it was that Iris asked them, and if trees could look annoyed, the tree that seemed to be the leader of them definitely seem annoyed. "I am Grooooooooooooot," it responded to her.

"...Okay, never thought I'd ever see what would appear to be a tree of all things sounding annoyed, but that tree sounds annoyed," Mira commented, and she could not blame the tree. Iris was still getting on her nerves and needed to learn to be quiet, and not to ask for things when they clearly were already being helpful enough with giving them stuff for their injuries, and Iris decided to ask for more? She said she didn't mean to sound selfish, but that was exactly what seemed to be happening at this point in time.

Hearing Neil's comments, she thought for a moment, and knew that it did make sense. However what were the odds of that? Not to mention they couldn't get that lucky could they? The device couldn't be that close to where they had started, they hadn't even really moved too far through the ship at all. "...I mean, it would make our job a little easier if the Nullifier was on the other side of that door... But would really be that lucky? No idea... Anyway, guess we'll find out then won't we? Thank you for your help," she said, before nodding her head towards the trees.

The trees nodded their heads at the group, before they more or less disappeared among the non-moving trees in the jungle area. Mira instantly headed for the door, working at getting it opened. "Alright, going to be blunt, if we did luck out and the Nullifier is on the other side of this door, the instant this door pops open duck down off to the side, and be quick about it, since if there was anyone else in that room, they might notice us so do not hesitate to duck down... We don't know what's on the other side of this door, and knowing this entire team's luck it is something horrible," Mira said, the urgency in her words stuck out, despite the fact that she was partially whispering them so the others would barely be able to hear her as the door popped open, allowing them into the room.

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Telepathy, Mind Switch
Guin hadn't been entirely certain what the point was of having Bethany shadow travel across the room to go on ahead - it wasn't like the Silver Surfer couldn't see the gaggle of X-Men at the open door. It had evidently been futile too, as Bethany was thrown back through the door and ended up in the hallway with the rest of them. The Silver Geriatric himself was in front of them, floating on what looked like a Club Penguin unlockable surfboard. "It wouldn't be an X-Men mission if we didn't settle things with fists instead of words," Guin quipped.

From what Warlock had said, all they needed to do was give a convincing try - enough so that way if Galactus questioned the Surfer about how the device was stolen, the Prince of Chrome could save face in front of his boss. Here goes nothing, she whispered to Pietro, before making her first move in this match. She darted forward and put a hand on the Surfer, trying to switch bodies with him. It didn't work - his mind was incredibly powerful - and she was admittedly rusty. She didn't use this power as often as she should have. As much as she kept on pushing and pushing, pulling off the switch continued to elude her. She was about to give up when Guin gave it one last try - one last shot to try to make something useful out of her mutant powers.

For a split second, she was in control of the Silver Surfer's body. Her brain felt like it was on fire - like she was melting. The rush of power that he controlled was exhilarating. "You know not what you are dealing with," the Silver Surfer whispered in her mind, before another split second passed and she was thrown back into her own body. She let out a scream of pain, stumbling backwards as she opened up her face shield and put her hands on her head. She'd never felt pain quite like this before.

"Guina? What's wrong are you okay?" Pietro asked her instantly, it was clear from his tone of voice that he was worried and panicking from that scream of hers.

"I'm... fine..." she groaned, feeling like someone had just tossed a Molotov cocktail into her mind. "Just give me a breather...Maybe some ice for my brain..." she wheezed.

"...What happened?"

"Surfer," Guin managed to stay. She was still holding her head with her hands, trying to make the pounding stop and the heat die down.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship - Flora Colossi Room
Skills: Telekinesis
"...The boss is the big bad of the video game - or at least, that level," Neil explained to Iris, a little bit dumbfounded. It then dawned on him that she probably didn't understand what big bad meant either. "The big bad is the villain - usually the main one, the minions of the big bad don't count." He really hoped that she knew what a minion was and he certainly didn't mean the weird little yellow cartoon men that grandmas on Facebook adored. The ents seemed to be annoyed with Iris as well, something that Neil had no trouble relating to. She was nice and all, but also really seemed to lean into the entire pothead stoner aesthetic.

Otherwise known as the bard aesthetic, he supposed.

As soon as the door opened, Neil ducked down to the side just as Mira instructed. An idea then wormed its way into his brain. He usually used his telekinesis to destroy things, but he could use it to bring objects to him just as well. From his crouched position, he could see the device behind a security system of sorts in the middle of the room. The Silver Surfer was distracted by the others in the room already (namely Quicksilver, Guin, Allison, Marygold, and Bethany) so he figured that it was now or never - he had to take a leap of faith, take his shot.

Neil began to gently tug on the device with his mutant powers, triggering a very loud alarm. A case enclosed the device. The Silver Surfer noticed all of them now. His heart sank. That wasn't at all how he was hoping for things to go.

Allison Andrews

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 1) -> Central Room
Skills: Telekinesis

Allison was pleased she was right, but the feeling didn't last long. If all of these things were prisoners or "trophies" for Galactus, then that meant that once he consumed Earth, he would keep one there. What would it have been? It only solidified their purpose here of putting a stop to him which meant they had to deal with the Silver Surfer.

Bethany had tried and was thrown back out. It seemed he would not see reason. Which meant they would have to fight. Guin appeared to try to control him and swap, to no avail as she fell away in pain. Mental attacks would not work, it seemed. Which meant that they would have to use force. Allison scanned the room. There were plenty of things she could use on him, but bigger seemed better. She saw a terminal that, she figured, would be good and may help them in getting the device. She picked it up with relative ease and launched it at him as the alarm sounded, taking the opportunity.

Allison glanced out and saw one of the other teams there. But now the Surfer had her in her sights. She waved. "Yeah, that was me. If you won't back down, we have no choice. We need to save our planet. Surely you can see that!"

Sara Grey

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3) -> Flora Collosi Room -> Central Room
Skills: Power Intuition, Power Replication, Telekinesis (Copied)

Sara drank the water and felt better. She knew the talking tree people were good! "Hell yeah Groots! Thanks for that." She followed the others to the door, where hopefully the device they needed was. Once the door opened, she ducked along with Neil and glanced inside. There, she saw the first group and saw the Silver Surfer. It seemed they lucked out. Neil took it upon himself to try to get the device while the Surfer was distracted, but the alarm sounded. She sighed. It would be just their luck.

She thought about it. Force was best here. If she could get the Surfer off his board, it would be better for them. She copied Neil's telekinesis and launched forward into the room as Allison chucked a terminal at him. She picked up metal plates around and threw them, but it wasn't enough. Now the Surfer looked at her. "You're outnumbered now Surfer dude. Seriously, what's with the surfboard anyway?"

Allison and Sara glanced at each other and nodded. Both of them picked up the largest console in the room and slammed it on him. He still remained on his board, but they had to admit how cool that looked!

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship, Central Room
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany stared at The Silver Surfer as he suddenly appeared right in front of her, making her take a step back slightly as he spoke to her Earth was her home and she'd do anything to defend it as well. Then she felt him putting his hand on her shoulder, wincing slightly when she felt the slight shock. She wasn't even sure what that was about, before being thrown back out of the room and into the hallway again groaning slightly as she looked at Mary and nodded. "Yeah, tried talking to him and didn't work at all." Beth said as she stood up again. "Oh and the vision you saw earlier Allison, I think was Carolina coming into the room and Surfer hitting her." Beth said as she could see the Nullifier there so close but yet so far blocked by The Silver Surfer.

Bethany then winced when she heard the alarm going off, and the security shutters completely blocking the Ultimate Nullifier from view, she just needed to get in there and then they would be free to go back home. Bethany closed her eyes as she tried to use her powers, to shadow travel herself into the little containment unit for the device. But she couldn't even feel her powers at all, and opened her eyes again, and tried again but she couldn't at all. It was like her powers were suddenly turned off, which happened to her back when OMEN tried to take them all in. "What the hell? I cant use my powers at all it's like they are shut off somehow? I cant shadow travel into the containment cell thing." Bethany said, as the others started to attack the Silver Surfer.

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship, Central Room
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina turned to look at Elizabeth for a moment and gave her a slight smile. "You will get used to it, and I get hit all the time to." Carolina said, she'd been hit in the head quiet a few times now at this point, and she was still suffering from the two really bad head injuries. She moved back up into the central room again seeing one of the other teams there and gave a slight wave towards them, she was pretty much aware that the Silver Surfer knew about her powers now at this point.

Carolina decided to try again, while the others were busy fighting him and tried to possess him, but she was easily kicked out letting out a groan as Carolina tried to possess him again. But again she was forced out and returned to her body, she didn't really have a useful power if she couldn't really use anyone. When she heard the alarm going off, and the Ultimate Nullifier being put into some kind of lockdown.

Location: Galactus Ship - (Group 2) -- SPACE

Plans weren’t always a bad thing, they were a good tool to have, especially with so many powers working in one room, a plan could be to their advantage. But, as Antoinette watched Lance fly up to the door, she supposed the all or nothing approach did work out for them just as well. Antoinette followed up after Lance and entered a room full of people. It seemed all of them had made it to this room at just about the same time. She looked around at the people she hadn’t seen since being in Stark Tower and then she looked at Silver Surfer who was surrounded by people but he seemed to be faring well against them.
There was an alarm sounding and Antoinette watched the Nullifier become encased. That was going to prove to be a bit more difficult to get out. Antoinette focused on the Silver Surfer, trying to get into his head like so many others to see if he knew of a way to release the security of the Nullifier but she couldn’t get a read on him. She made her way over to Lance and the control panel next, looking it over for answers there but the panel was written out in an alien language she didn’t understand. Antoinette eyed the Nullifier and lifted her hand trying to use her new found power to blast open the case. She only managed a few sparks and sighed, dropping her hand. Her sparkling new power would have to wait until she got to train with it some more. For now, she focused on Silver Surfer again to see what sort of illusions she could create.

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills: Pyrokinesis

Iris' lips turned into a disappointed frown when she heard the clear disappointment in the lead tree-person's voice. The frown didn't appear because she was saddened at the thought of the Treeple™ not liking her. Sure, they were adorable, but she didn't really mind them disliking her. Her self-worth wasn't reliant on anyone but herself. No, she frowned because their answer was a negative, squashing any dreams of a magic joint with an annoyed-sounding 'I am Groot'.

"Aw man, that's a bummer," she said, before turning her gaze to Neil. She nodded in hesitant understanding at his words. "Gotcha. So, like, for the Hobbit, it'd be Smaug, and for The Great Gatsby, it'd be the inherently flawed idea of the American Dream," she reiterated in terms she understood. She liked updating her vocabulary, even if she wasn't sure she'd ever use some of the phrases. She turned her attention to Mira as she worked on the door. "So what's the pla-" Iris began, but before she could finish, the doors slid open, and she leaped to the side, taking cover as instructed. She peered into the room to evaluate the situation. She saw the Nullifier before she saw anything else. It didn't look like it'd be hard to get. Her eyes then turned to the people in the room. It appeared that a number of X-Men were arriving at around the same time they were, and luckily, they seemed to be distracting the Surfer enough for him not to notice her team's arrival. At least, they were, until a loud alarm began going off, and Iris saw the Nullifier get swallowed up in some sort of containment chamber. She frowned, and as Sara jumped into the fray, Iris turned her head away from the action to think. There, in front of her, she saw Upsilon, standing, seemingly staring at her expectantly, despite not actually having eyes. She let out a sigh.

"Alright. You're up, Upsilon. Torch the Nullifier case thing, but stay away from the people. Understand?" she said, her tone more serious than it had been the entire mission. The hallucination gave no reaction of affirmation, instead simply disappearing. She turned to look back in the room, seeing Upsilon standing in front of the containment chamber, but he did nothing, and Iris didn't feel the normal feeling she felt when Upsilon burned something. "Come on, you asshat! I thought burning shit was supposed to be your thing!" she hissed, pushing him to work his magic. With the extra verbal push, she felt a familiar feeling. It felt like there was IcyHot running through her veins, which was oddly both refreshing and exhilerating. A moment later, she saw a bright blue fire spark into existence around the containment chamber. It whirled around in a flaming tornado, encircling it. Iris couldn't see how effective it was, not until, a few seconds later, the flame decimated, leaving behind the containment chamber. It wasn't melted, but it wasn't in perfect shape either. It seemed like her fire did some damage, even if it didn't get rid of it completely. And most importantly, the fire hadn't gotten out of hand. She ducked back into place, letting out a sigh of relief. "I think that softened the container up. Hey Wizman, think you can use your blowy uppy brainy power to finish the job?" she asked, eyeing her two remaining allies in the room.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Pietro asked Guin again, still fairly concerned as to what had just happened to her. Luckily for Guin though, the melting feeling in her head seemed to go away as quickly as it came, it would be apparent that it likely was from her attempt to switch bodies with the Silver Surfer. Pietro however was not going to stand by and let the Surfer hurt anyone really, and he instantly charged straight at the Surfer, clearly pissed off.

"Pietro wait!" Mary called after him, since from what she could tell, it was going to take a lot in order to knock the Silver Surfer down considering how much people had been pounding on him already, and she seriously doubted that he'd be able to be taken down no matter how hard Pietro punched him.

The speedster didn't seem to hear her though, as he jumped up and slammed his fist with a loud boom straight into the Silver Surfer's face. The silver man seemed to recoil backwards, but that was about it. "You should have stayed on Earth to be with your family members and loved ones in your planet's final hours," the Silver Surfer said, almost with a hint of sadness to his words, as he turned to look over at Pietro now. "Apologies for this," he added, before Pietro essentially was frozen in place of sorts as his feet seemed to have been encased in rock or something. However Pietro could tell that it wasn't encased, nope, instead his feet actually were shifted into stone, preventing him from moving.

"Okay, that is so not fair!"

"I tried to warn you..." Mary muttered as she sent vines flying at the Silver Surfer, however in response he ended up sending a blast of energy at her, burning the vines entirely and throwing her backwards.

"I told you... You should not be here... And you should leave while you still can... Galactus can not be stopped... Not really. Give up now."

Mary hit the ground fairly hard, her head was spinning and she got up off the ground, stumbling slightly. "Okay, I'm more then annoyed with this guy," she snapped, before a large, black vine covered in thorns appeared out of nowhere almost near her, and she glared in the Silver Surfer's direction now. "How about you get the hell out of our way."

Lance Banner

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Light Manipulation

Lance wasn't all too sure what to really do at this point. People were trying to take down the Surfer, but it didn't seem to be working all too well. There had to be a way to fight him more easily, and his mind was racing to try and come up with something. His powers were typically energy blasts, or were considered that anyway, which based on what he was seeing meant that he probably wasn't going to be all too effect at fighting the Surfer. This really needed to not be a problem, but that's just it. You couldn't just blast away at him with light, so he needed to do something else instead.

Meanwhile, Thor threw his hammer towards the cage that housed the Nullifier, however it didn't seem to do much damage to the thing. Once the hammer rebounded and returned to him, he instantly charged lightning and sent a blast at the Silver Surfer. The lightning only seemed to confirm what Lance was thinking about energy blasts not really helping things, as it didn't even really seemed to phase the Surfer. It seemed more or less that he was absorbing it as opposed to actually taking damage from it.

"We need to try something else..." he muttered under his breath, still trying to think before another thought came to him. What would happen if he Hulked out? He wasn't sure that he'd be able to control it, but maybe it would distract the Silver Surfer long enough for them to be able to get the Nullifier out of where it was locked up. If he shifted back, he shifted back, if not then they'd have to see what would happen, but right now, they needed to do something.

"Hey Surfer!" Lance called out, moving from his hiding place as he sent a blast of light slamming into the silver man, but once again it only seemed to absorb the energy. In response, the Silver Surfer sent a blast of energy into Lance, knocking him into a wall with a loud crack. Now Lance was really starting to wish he still had one of the suits, but now his vision was starting to blur as his skin slowly started to shift to green as he managed to stand up off of the ground.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Hacking

Mira looked over at Neil when he caused the alarm to start blaring and the Nullifier to become enclosed in a casing of sorts. "I don't recognize that metal... But I don't know if just blasting it will work at getting it open," she said, shaking her head at the others as she moved to the nearest console and started to mess with it. Unfortunately, most of the keys and such was in a different language, but considering the fact that English wasn't even her first language really, it made for an interesting challenge. Now if only she could actually read what actually was on the screen.

Looking at the different keys and symbols, she took a deep breath as she pushed a button that caused a holographic display of sorts to suddenly pop up above the console. It appeared to be a diagram of the room that they were in at the moment, with certain consoles blinking red to indicate the consoles that Allison and Sara had ripped up. "Okay, now all I need to do is figure out which console to go to to disarm the alarm, or if I'm lucky it'll be this console. Worst case scenario they just destroyed the consoles to disarm the security system..."

The Silver Surfer wasn't done with everything yet though, as he instantly sent a blast of energy slamming into Allison, and another one right into Sara. They both would get a few burns on their bodies, even through the suits that they were wearing, and both would have some pretty bad headaches. "You all should just stop... You can't really win."

That struck a chord with Mira, as she had been told similar things to that for most of her life back home. However, she couldn't stop to think about that sort of thing, as she kept staring at the console in front of her. "...Okay, where the hell is the security system..." she mumbled, before tapping one of the consoles that were on the screen to see if it could help her, but unfortunately it didn't really do much. "Alright, we've got to find a way to actually shut that security system, since odds are that we aren't going to be able to just punch our way through."

Guin Stark

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Telepathy
Bethany's powers were shut off? Their situation went from bad to horrible in a second. But that wasn't the worst of it - Pietro's feet were turned to stone. Their speedster was crippled. Iris' schizophrenic fire power show didn't even really do anything at all to the casing around the Nullifier. Guin's head was still pounding, but it was to the point where she could finally think and feel again. Her primary emotion? Beyond the shock of seeing Lance start to go green? Rage. "Like hell are we just going to lie down and let your boss destroy the planet!" Guin shouted at the Silver Surfer.

"My whole damn life, I've been told what I can't do. You can't join SHIELD, you're too young. You can't fight the Brotherhood and go toe to toe with a hot speedster, you have no powers. You can't stop a sentinel, your powers are too lame. You can't stop Mesmero, his psychic powers are too much. You can't fucking fight, go hide in a closet! Well I've got news for your pal, I've done all of those things! I don't need powers to be a pain your ass! I never have! And I'm not going to stop because I'm with my fucking family right now and I swear, I'm going to beat you. I can do this all fucking day!" Guin screamed. "And once I'm done, I'm going to take my fiancé to the beach and we're gonna do it. Because we're not going to stop. And by the way, he pulls off silver waaaaay better than you, you piece of shit!"

...Wow that was an interesting rant Guina...

Guin quickly fiddled with her repulsors, charging them up to the max. They were glowing with energy, overflowing almost. She then used the propulsion system of her suit and flew straight at the Silver Surfer, a human cannonball, as she then reached her hands out as two fists and knocked him backwards, hard. There was a BOOM! when she connected with him, her repulsor gauntlets smoking from the power she had just used against him. "I don't need any powers to do that to you again and again and again, Chrome Dome!" Guin shouted. "We're not surrendering. So it's either you step aside or we go through you."

Guina please calm down a little bit, Pietro said to her mentally, starting to more or less use the mental link to try and calm her.

He turned your feet into stone! Guin argued. I think I'm entitled to using my rage. It worked for the Empire! The Sith!

Sith is bad! Bad bad bad!

Okay, but it works for the Hulk too!

...Not sure if Banner is a good example of that working either...

....Your sister?

Still not the best example either.

Harry Potter did it once! To defend McGonagall!

I feel like you are just looking for excuses...

Are your feet okay?

I mean yeah, considering the fact that I can't move, they are doing decently well.

This guy freaking sucks.

Oh yeah no, figured that out fairly quickly.

Neil Spellman

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Minor Molecular Combustion, Telekinesis
"It's Spellman," Neil corrected Iris. She was so confusing. But she also did seem to be fun - maybe he'd invite her to join the DnD group after this was all over. Every group did need a bard, after all. His eyes widened though, seeing that puny little Banner was turning green. There were two powerhouses in the world that scared Neil more than anything else - the Hulk and the Juggernaut. His nightmares usually consisted of a fusion between the two of them if he had eaten too much sugar during the day - the Hulkernaut.

Mira was talking about how they needed to disarm the security system. He tried to blow up the undamaged console, but nothing happened. And he was probably lucky that nothing happened. He didn't really want Mira to yell at him if that turned out to be the wrong choice. But then again, what else could they really do in this room? Neil then spotted the surfboard. His mind was going a mile a minute, especially since the Surfer had hurt Sara. He hated that. Maybe the only thing they could use to get to the device was going to be something else from this ship - like destroying like.

Using his telekinesis and the fact that Guin had knocked the Surfer back, Neil managed to fly the surfboard over to himself. He got up and sprinted to the case, hitting the case with the surfboard in an attempt to damage it enough to open it up, but it was futile. The surfboard flew out of his hands and went back over to the Surfer, like a lost puppy running to its owner. "Sara, you okay?"

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Galactus' Ship (team 2) (Central room)
Skills: Transmutation

As they entered the room, Elizabeth saw that this Surfer dude was seriously wrecking their shit. Needless to say, things weren't going according to plan, especially given that their speedster was knocked out of commission by having his feet turned to literal stone. That pissed her off more than anything, changing matter around was supposed to be her thing, and the Surfer stealing that felt like borderline copyright infringement. Rushing up to the man, she said, "Hey! let me show you how it's done!" She said, as she put her hand out, and tried to turn the Silver Surfer into the Iron Surfer. As a ripple pulsed through the man, she tried harder, and a grin broke out as she saw his form shift, but her expression turned to anger as he fixed himself.

"Ugh, fine. Be like that." She said, upset at her failure. Backing away from the Surfer, and over to Pietro. If she couldn't decommission the Surfer, maybe she could at least fix Quicksilver's feet. She figured that, if the Silver Surfer could do it, why couldn't she? Resting a hand on his feet, said, "I'm gonna be straight with you, I've never tried to turn anything to human flesh before, so uh... science time." And with that, she gripped hard, and to her surprise, the stone melted away, leaving Pietro with two normal feet again. "There we go, now get that Nullifer. I don't think this is a fight we can win." She said seriously, looking back towards the Surfer.

Antoinette smiled as Mirembe came over to the console and started talking about it needing to find the system to shut down. Antoinette couldn’t agree more but there was a problem with not being able to read and she didn’t want to just start pressing buttons and doing more damage. Mirembe didn’t seem to mind pressing buttons or she just knew what button to press and a hologram of the room popped up. She looked it over, trying to decipher anything from it but it just looked like the room on a hologram with blinking lights.
She heard Lance move and taunt the Silver Surfer who blasted him back. Antoinette gasped and then her eyes widened as she started to see his skin turn colours. ”Mirembe, this room is about to get a lot more crowded,” she noted. She seriously hoped Lance knew what he was doing and that they would have a better shot of getting Lance back down to Lance size at the end of this. Guin was closer with Lance, perhaps she would have the better chance than the rest of them had. Antoinette didn’t want to have to hurt Lance again.

Bethany Bell

Location: Galactus' Ship, Central Room
Skills: N/A

Bethany watched a little bit helpless as she watched the others fighting against the Silver Surfer, Guin managing to send the guy flying which was pretty impressive, she tried to close her eyes and focused on getting her powers back. When she looked down, just barely seeing her own shadow moving a bit, and felt it sparking back as it were. But still she couldn't do it at all, as she looked over at Sara for a moment. If she couldn't get her powers back then maybe Sara could replicate them, they were just here for the Nullifier and The Silver Surfer was just stalling them.

"Sara, try and replicate my power, and get through that security gate thing or whatever." Beth suggested, whether she wanted to do that or not though was up to her. The Silver Surfer was just simply there to distract them and keep them from getting the Nullifier, in the first place. "You know you are getting annoying suggesting that we should just go back home right?" Bethany said, towards him, while they continued to try and get the Nullifier out from the containment cell. She looked over at Mary who got hurt pretty badly. "Are you alright Mary?" She asked, noticing the rather large black vine coming out.

Carolina Reed

Location: Galactus' Ship, Central Room
Skills: Astral Projection

Carolina moved over towards Annie and knelt down next to her as she watched her try and use her new powers on the containment cell, only for it to just spark against it, and Iris as well only scorching it. Which was really annoying they couldn't get into it and grab what they needed from there. She watched The Silver Surfer getting attacked by Guin who went into a pretty big rant, she closed her eyes and then went out to try and possess him again, which was starting to get a little bit annoying that she couldn't and getting kicked out on the second try.

She watched Lance starting to go green and actually attempting to Hulk out, she hoped that he actually would but just focus on the Silver Surfer and not on either of them. Though if it did happen she would try that trick again that she did earlier which she hoped wouldn't happen and he'd turn back to normal on his own.

Allison Andrews

Location: Central Room
Skills: Precognition

Allison felt the hit hard as she backed up. Surfer wasn't playing games it seemed, especially when he managed to stop Pietro in his tracks. Allison knew from experience that it was a mistake to mess with him with Guin present and, sure enough, Guin proved her right by going after Surfer with her propulsion boots working overtime. A loud boom sounded and Surfer was hit. Still, it seemed the being would not back down and would not go down easily.

Allison called for a vision. She managed to grasp on to something, but it was hard to see. In it, Surfer was standing, despite force being launched at him again and again. Allison came back. Talking didn't seem to work either. They needed to get the nullified, it was the only thing they needed and Surfer was preventing them. Like he was distracting them.

Sara Grey

Location: Central Room
Skills: Power Intuition, Power Replication, Shadow Manipulation (Copied)

Sara felt the impact. She stepped away to assess the scene. Neil managed to get the guy's board away and use it on the glass to no avail. "Yeah, I'm ok." All their efforts were not working. That meant that they had to do something else. Sara took in the scene. Brute strength did not seem to work on the guy and neither did mental powers. She eyed the glass case and Bethany had a good idea. So Sara copied her powers. "Ok, here I go."

Sara used the shadow to slip inside the glass. Her hope was to break the glass as she materialized. However, as she manifested, she found herself stuck, and it was getting harder to breathe. Panic swept her as she fought hard, but her vision clouded. She felt herself going, but in a small blur of silver, she was saved. At first, Sara assumed that, with Elizabeth's help, Pietro saved her, but as her vision came back and she looked up she realized she was wrong. It was the Silver Surfer who saved her.

"No matter the fate of your planet, I can not allow you to potentially kill yourself here... Especially in a way that is far from a heroic sacrifice," the Surfer said, before he set her down on the ground again. She wanted to thank him and yell at him at the same time. She was unsure what to do.

Iris Rivers

Location: Galactus' Ship (Team 3)
Skills:

Iris' lips curved into a frown when Mira explained that physical force wasn't going to be enough to pop open the case and get the Nullifier. That was...inconvenient, to say the least. She followed Mira to the console, eyes shifting to Neil as he pulled the metal space wizard's surfboard to himself with his brain powers. Iris watched with wide eyes as the boy got the strange metallic artifact and...promptly smashed it into the case. It wasn't a bad plan, Iris figured. Given enough force, either the surfboard or the case would break, both of which were favorable outcomes. Unfortunately, the hit wasn't hard enough, as the surfboard flew back to its owner, leaving both items undamaged. Neil ran to the fallen Sara, leaving Iris alone behind Mira.

"Alright, looks like it's just us," Iris said, and she quickly positioned herself between Mira and the Silver Surfer as Mira tapped away on the console. She watched as Sara, in a shadowy display, slipped into the case. Inside, Iris saw some sort of struggle, and, before she could try to do anything, she saw the Surfer pull Sara out. Iris seemed confused, but quickly shook it off, bringing the suit's mask back up as she spoke to Mira. "Listen, as you've probably been able to guess, I'm not really a computer kinda gal, and I think Upsilon would do more harm than good here, so unless you've got a better idea, I'm gonna play human shield, okay?"

Marygold Isley

Location: Galactus' Ship - Central Room
Skills: Chlorokinesis

She glanced over towards Bethany, giving her a bit of a smile, "Oh I'm perfectly fine Bethany, just more then a little bit annoyed," she said towards her with a shrug, before she sent the vines flying. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't seem to land a hit on the Silver Surfer, as the vines seemingly went straight through him, similar to how he had more or less phased through the container to pull Sara out of that box "Of course, couldn't be distracted long enough to actually try and hurt him. No way we could ever be that lucky."

Yay Guina I'm not stuck in one place! Oh, wait, I've got an idea! Pietro said mentally to Guin, before he glanced over towards her. Maybe I can see about phasing through the casing or whatever and grab the thingy or whatever it's called. With those words, he raced forward, trying to phase through the case or whatever it was, however the instant he attempted it, he got blasted backwards and shocked with electricity. [i]Oww... Okay, that isn't going to work at all.../i]

It is futile to try and fight me, not many have succeeded in it," the Silver Surfer said calmly before he sent a shockwave that hit several people, blasting Mary, Guin, Allison, Bethany and Iris backwards, somehow missing Sara who was fairly close to him still. They'd hit the ground hard from the attack. Each one of them would end up with burns on their bodies despite the armor they were wearing. Bethany and Iris would also both have a sort of head injury, blood would be coming from their wounds.

"Okay... This is getting to be more then a little bit annoying," Mary muttered under her breath as she stood up off the ground again, a little bit unsteady on her feet, and the vines that she had shifted back to more of a standard green as opposed to the black. She hadn't really been paying much attention to the other side of the room, until she heard a bit of a roar coming from the other side.

Lance Banner

Location: Central Room
Skills: ???

The roar that could be heard came from Lance, as he didn't even try to fight off shifting this time around, and he started to grow in size before he completely shifted green, and his eyes glared at the Surfer, before he charged right at him. Lance wasn't exactly in control of his actions anymore, but at the very least he wasn't attacking anyone that they didn't want to be beaten up. Also known as it seemed like he was actually putting his strength to good use probably.

His fist instantly slammed into the Surfer with enough force to knock him off his surfboard and threw him backwards. The Silver Surfer instantly called his board back towards him, before he sent a blast of energy at Lance that threw him backwards, but fairly quickly he got up again, and still did not look too thrilled with the Surfer. "Once again, I reiterate, you likely can not win this fight. Dying here would be pointless, since your planet would still likely die anyway." Lance did not seem to keen on listening to anyone anymore, and he let out another roar, still glaring at the Silver Surfer.

Thor meanwhile charged up another bolt of lightning using his hammer, before he sent it slamming at the container. The bolt didn't seem to do much more of anything, and this container seemed to definitely be a lot tougher to break then it appeared. However Lance still wasn't paying much attention to all of that, before he threw another punch at the Silver Surfer, this time though, he was ready, and the Silver Surfer caught his fist, before he threw him backwards, knocking him off his feet yet again.

Mirembe Adebayo

Location: Central Room
Skills: Hacking

"Just keep quiet somewhat and I think we'll be fine, alright?" Mira muttered under her breath as she looked up at Annie who made a comment. The comment confused her, until she saw Lance more or less shift, and immediately started punching the Surfer. Well that definitely wasn't something you saw everyday. Now they had some time hopefully to see about getting to the Nullifier. Especially since as has so far been proven, just punching the thing or blasting at it didn't seem to be working. Unfortunately, the consoles were in alien languages and made things extremely confusing for her.

"...Trying to decipher this would be an interesting past time, problem is we don't exactly have the time to do that... So here goes nothing to try and figure out which buttons or computer systems or whatever actually work..." she muttered, looking at the console in front of her. There were a lot of buttons that were flashing with bright lights. Taking a deep breath, she figured what would likely be the button to push, and pressed it.

A shot of electricity blasted out of the console and instantly shocked her, knocking her backwards slightly, and she put a hand to her chest as she felt her chest was starting to not really feel the best. What was going on right now definitely would be on the list of things she shouldn't be doing with a pacemaker in her chest. She pushed the pain that she felt out of the way though and went back up towards the console, and glanced around it, taking into account everything that was there. Her vision was starting to blur, before she used everything she really could, before pushing a combination of buttons on the console. There was a blinking light over by the casing that the device was in, before the light went out. The device was still encased, however a small electrical field seemed to become visible for a split second, before disappearing, and this would allow someone to now grab the device and it's case if they wanted to. Since she disarmed the thing preventing Pietro from just grabbing it.

Unfortunately, Mira wasn't really paying all too much attention to things anymore, as she instantly slipped backwards and fell to the ground. The pain she was feeling was not going away, and it caused her to slip unconscious. If anyone nearby checked her vital signs, they'd be able to tell that at this point she was barely breathing.
