It's a natural effect caused by a magical spell. Regular elements, that aren't specified to be "arcane" or "magic" in nature are always 'natural'. ^^

Glum's defensive spell is still up, since it hasn't been mentioned going away yet.

Bardic charm is different from regular charm. It's a sort of magic manipulation, where you can sway the unaware towards a prefered result. of course, if the person being charmed is aware that something is wrong, or they're being influenced, the charm loses all effect. Think of it as subtle misdirection. If you don't notice it, it works, if you do notice, it's useless.

- Glum has just used his trump-card. It was a once-per-day ability. Of course, your characters don't know that.

- Cecilia is now "More Injured", but not quite "Badly Injured".

I left out what Krenna's up to, since I wanted to wait for a Ciel-response first.

Artemisia really needs to get her butt in gear and come help, I thinks... ;(

Depending on other people to post is always a bad idea when we're going zoom speeds, so posted again.

Just gonna do a quick clarification on Cecilia's throwing magic: everything that she throws returns to her at the speed which she physically threw it, taking the straightest path possible. Because you save ammunition this way, and her Accelerate buff gives her enough reaction speed to usually catch her own thrown shit. In this case, Glum just found himself in the path.

Just want to clear up that Cecilia used "Thunderer" on Norbert's shortsword, not "Storm's Boon". Which means she, technically, shouldn't be able to do a pull-back on the weapon. In addition, if this pull-back is able to be invoked at any time, regardless of time having passed, I'm gonna hafta slap a big fat 'nope' on that ability.

However, since I want the battle to be over and done with, there's no need to do any editing or changes. Just keep this in mind for the future, thanks. ^^

@Xaltwind Eyup, I was making the statement that all of Cecilia's throwing magic has that flyback effect, including Storm's Boon and Thunderer. For the timing of the pull-back effect itself, I was actually thinking that it would have been travelling turning Cecilia and Glum's whole exchange, cause it felt like not all that much time passed in their whole fight.

Though I did sorta also fudge the whole writing of the thing, because I wanted to end this encounter too. XD Funnily enough, if it wasn't for Locke doing his corrupting magic thing, what I did in this round is exactly what I would have done in the round before. I just delayed it because, y'know, wanted to have some of that teamwork going in.

For future cases, yes, weapons that are thrown will be rebounded back in the following round.

Though please add that to your Character Sheet as a passive or something, just for ease of reference, so I don't go scolding you in the futurue because I'm an idiot who forgets things 24 hours after they've been said... ^^;

There we go, the battle is over, unless any of you feel particularly vengeful and want to chase after the enemy. Yes, it was abrupt and yes it might not have been the "best" and most "organic" end to the fight, but honestly, the collab is already more than half the size of the permitted post-length, and it's been going for 2 weeks. I'd like your team to make some progress besides fighting mini-bosses for now. ^^

EDIT:

Oh! I almost forgot! The thing you're all most interested in:

Loot & Spoils:
- Norbert's shortsword: A finely made shortsword from polished steel. The pommel is made from fine bronze, as is the guard. The hilt is wrapped with some black, coarse leathery fabric, giving the weapon a good grip. However, other than this, there's nothing special about the weapon. It seems this truly was just a sidearm for the ranger.

- Norbert's (Shattered) Crossbow: This is a pile of junk. Whatever use and possible value this weapon might have had at some point, it's now nothing more than kindling for your next campfire.

- Krena's Fanged Club: This club, studded with the fangs and claws of various beasts, seems ordinary and crude at first glance. However, closer inspection reveals that it's actually got small glyphs carved into it, and some form of minor enchantment as well! The enchantment is a plain old durability-increasing one, but it's still magic! Maybe this would fetch some coins if sold to the right person?
