Bethany Bell

Location: New York City, Stark Tower, Upper Floor
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany looked towards Pietro for a moment, though she didn't remove the visor of her helmet to return the same glare, right now really wasn't the time to have a lovers spat either. She listened to Guin, and remembered that scene pretty well from news clips when the Chitauri invaded New York. "Sounds like a good place as any then, if you really want to be seen." Beth said, she felt bad that she didn't have time to grab Neil with the rest of them, since he took off to quickly. She turned her head when she noticed a blur of silver going past a nearby window, and quickly ran over towards it.

Bethany spotted Neil a couple of floors down still flying up to catch up to them, and the Silver Surfer closing in and attacking him while Lance went in and helped Neil as well. She used her powers and a shadow latched itself around the Silver Surfer's board and quickly yanked it away from him, it did feel really satisfying since he robbed her of her powers while back on the ship. "That's payback for taking my powers away from me earlier." Bethany called out to him, hopefully to get in distracted enough for Neil to get to the top of the building.

Carolina Reed

Location: New York City
Skills: N/A

Carolina looked at the man for a moment when he answered her question if there were some more people trapped inside of the building, she bit her bottom lip and looked up at the building. She wasn't sure how much longer the building would stand for, or how many people were actually inside of the building. "Thank you, see if you can try and get first responders here." Carolina said as she quickly ran into the building. Inside of the building Carolina couldn't really see with all of the smoke, and she could see bits of rubble strewn around the building as well.

She started to run down a hallway, and stopped when she started to hear someone, and looked around though she couldn't see where the voice was coming from at all either. "I'm here to help, just let me know where you are." Carolina said to the person inside, she really didnt want the building to end up falling on top of her.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Hospital -- New York City, New York
Skills:

Antoinette looked over at Carolina gratefully when she filled in a few more loose ends that Antoinette didn’t mention. She nodded to Carolina and hugged her friend before she disappeared. Antoinette would remain with Mirembe for as long as she could but hopefully she would wake soon but they would probably have to get her heart stabilized first but Antoinette wasn’t sure.
”Yes, I’ll stay,” Antoinette said and quickly followed the nurse and the people who took Mirembe away on a stretcher. She wasn’t completely sure why she was so attached with staying at the girls' side. They didn’t have the closest relationship out of all the X-Men but Antoinette felt a responsibility for some reason and she didn’t want Mirembe to have to wake up alone in a hospital full of chaos and people crying and screaming with pain.

Iris Rivers

Location: Flying Outside Stark Tower
Skills:

Iris looked down at the group as she floated in the air, seeing what appeared to be a heated discourse between the pair of fiances. She let out a deep sigh of disappointment. They had a world to save. If they didn't get the Nullifier to the top of the tower, every pine tree, every rhododendron bush, every overweight squirrel would be gone, never to be seen again. Iris didn't want to live in a universe without overweight squirrels. She opened her mouth to speak, to tell them to get their superpowered behinds in the air, but before she could, a darkness enveloped them, and they were gone from sight. Her eyes widened slightly, head bobbing back in surprise.

"Well if I'd known we could do that, I wouldn't have started flying," she said, eyes shifting to see Neil beside her. That...wasn't good. But she didn't say anything, instead toying with her suit, causing the helmet to pop over her head. Without further hesitation, she blasted further into the sky, following Neil. After a while of flying, Iris caught a glance of sliver, and before she could react, she felt it collide with her metal-clad body. The suit managed to stop any real damage to her body, but that didn't mean they were safe, as before them flew one Silver Surfer. Iris' eyes went wide, as the Surfer sent another barrage of shards at them. Luckily, it too wasn't fatal, though for Neil it very well might've been if not for the glowing young man flying from above. Iris was about to continue flying up, when, out of the corner of her eyes, she saw Neil drop out of the sky. Her head shot down, seeing his body plummeting down towards the ground. Without a moment's hesitation, she flipped herself around, launching herself downwards after him. With her suit's functioning thrusters, she managed to catch up to the boy rather quick. She grabbed onto him from behind, her arms under his armpits, holding onto him tightly as she flew him back upwards.

"Don't worry, Mama's got you," Iris said, before her nose crinkled in distaste of her own statement. She quickly shook her head. "Yeah, no, forget I said that. I'm too young to be a mama," she quickly corrected as they slowly worked their way up the building. By the time she was done speaking, she'd just managed to get them back to where they were before Neil's fall, smack dab in front of the Silver Surfer.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Flying Outside Stark Tower
Skills: Precognition (Allison)

Soon they were heading upwards, the conversation still fresh on her mind. Now wasn't the time for petty squabbles among them. After all, it wouldn't be much good if their world was eaten. However, as Neil surged forward along with the rest of them, his attempts were blocked by The Silver Surfer. Lance had managed to save him, but they were still blocked. And it was hard to know if this one was the real one. Allison tried to get a vision going to see if she could tell, but nothing came through.

Sara watched as Neil tried to thrust, but fell. She watched as he spun out of control. "Neil!" she screamed. Before she knew it, Iris had moved to catch him, bringing him back. She could kiss her if it wasn't awkward and if they didn't have other pressing matters. Guin was right if they could find the real one all of the others should fall.

How could they tell though? Didn't it stand to reason that the real one would ensure they could not reach the top with the Nullifier? Or would he be more observing? Overseeing everything? "This can't be the real one. The real one has to be somewhere else watching. Why risk it?" Sara could see that. "Doesn't matter either way. That one nearly got my boyfriend killed so that one will pay dearly."

Allison shook her head. "If we waste further time Galactus wins. We need to distract him or move on. Or someone stays behind to fend him off and the rest continue." She wasn't volunteering, mind you. She could aid in battle, but taking on The Silver Surfer by herself wasn't at the top.

Sara nodded. "I'll do it. Someone lend me your powers and I'll stop him while the rest go on."

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Stark Tower, Upper Floor
Skills: N/A

Watching the others throw themselves out the window, to engage in a fight with this Surfer again, Elizabeth knew she had to follow suit. Running up to the jumping off point, she found she lost her nerve. She never considered herself scared of heights by any means, but this was something else. For one, there was a person of unimaginable power that was very determined to stop them, zipping around out there. For another, they were high up, higher up than she'd ever been in her life, short of being in a plane, ans she could see the ground from here. It would take a kind of borderline insanity she simply did not possess to jump off, even knowing her suit would stop her from falling.

On one hand, she wanted to fly, who didn't, after all. But Christ all mighty, if this wasn't the scariest thing she'd ever done, even accounting for the other batshit things she did today. More than that, she knew that she couldn't abandon the mission now, she had had the choice to split off and go to the hospital earlier, and like an idiot, she choose this instead. The consequence of that choice, it seemed, would be her needing to jump out the window of a high rise. Nervously, she stood on the precipice, watching the battle beneath her play out, trying to work up the courage to get out there and do her job.

Marygold Isley and Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower
Skills: Light Manipulation

Lance was flying around somewhat, and seemed to have the Silver Surfer's attention (or at least this one, to say the least). That was step one, and he wasn't even sure what to do for the rest of the plan that he had yet to truly form. The main thing was to see about getting Neil, Iris, and the Nullifier up to the roof, and right now they were in plain view of the Silver Surfer, "Keep going up!" he called out to them, before Iris and Neil would see a light seem to shine around them. They'd notice once the light died away that there was some weird shimmering thing around them.

Everyone else would notice something entirely different, the pair had disappeared entirely.

The Silver Surfer seemed stunned by that sort of development, and Lance wasn't paying much attention to what was going on around him as he had been focusing on pulling a little trick of the light, something he had only done once on himself, that he wasn't seeing what the Surfer was doing. Unfortunately that meant that the Silver Surfer was able to essentially send a shard of metal that stab right into his shoulder, causing him to be knocked backwards into the building. "Ouch..." he muttered, before glancing back up towards where the others were, and instantly took off upwards, so that he was still outside of the building, but that the Surfer was coming closer to where they were so that they could potentially do something. His head was pounding as he was trying to avoid shifting, since he wasn't too sure about shifting while in the air.

"...What just happened?" Mary couldn't help but ask as Iris and Neil disappeared entirely from view, and she saw Lance getting stabbed by metal and flying upwards towards them again. "You wanted to fight against the Surfer Sara? Well I'm guessing you're about to get your shot, since he's heading our way now..." she commented as vines wrapped around her arms as she prepared for the Surfer to get closer to them. This was not a good thing, especially considering the fact that there still were a bunch of Surfers still flying about.

She sent vines wrapping around the Surfer, starting to somewhat try and hold him in place. It actually seemed to be working, even still when he started phasing through them, it definitely seemed slower then typical. "Okay, we definitely know what to do, we run into anymore of these guys, take away the surfboard, it definitely weakens him somewhat!" she said instantly, before the Surfer sent shards of metal flying at everyone, but they seemed to all miss.

Hospital
Annie would find herself alone for the most part, however outside she'd be able to hear a lot of commotion, and if she listened carefully, she'd be able to hear more then a few explosions. Suddenly, everyone by the entranceway scattered, and a car would come crashing through the front doors, taking out part of the wall as well.

Nearby Building
"Over here!" a woman's voice would call out in response, before she'd hear some coughing coming from her right. If she went in that direction, she'd find a young woman pinned to the ground by what looked like a large pillar. One thing was for certain, Carolina would know instantly that the pillar was way too heavy for her to easily move on her own. "Help me..." the woman responded somewhat weakly.

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - Top Floor
Skills: Electronics and Computers
"Keep the board away from him, I'm going to try to get us back up!" Guin told Bethany quickly. Allison was urging them to keep on moving, to not waste time at all. Her heart was pounding from the pure adrenaline of the situation, as Guin quickly went over to the nearest computer and started accessing the mainframe. Her hands were shaking so much that at first, she forgot to put in a needed semi-colon and it returned an error message to her. "Shit, keep it together, Stark," she admonished herself. The next time she typed in the command string, she had more luck - she hit all of the buttons correctly, used the right passwords, and granted herself access to the Iron Legion.

For a brief moment, her brain remembered a book she had read once where Manhattan ended up being protected by robots in order to save the Empire State Building.

"And entering in the parameters now..." Her fingers flew across the keyboard as she put in the specifics. She programmed the Iron Legion to defend Stark Tower and those on it from the Silver Surfer as their top priority. Her father had made them after the incident with Loki and she imagined he had just been too busy fighting the Surfer to activate them already. They probably wouldn't be able to do much, but the sheer number of them would hopefully overwhelm the Surfer. He could likely easily destroy one, but dozens of them, attacking him all at once? It might just buy them the time they needed.

"Okay, done. Iron Legion's on the job." Her eyes flickered over towards Pietro. She wondered if he was happier with her in here, programming robots. Fourteen robots then spurred to life, their eyes glowing as they flew out of the tower and joined the fray against the Surfer.

Neil Spellman

Location: Outside Stark Tower -> the Roof
Skills: Telekinesis
Neil had been in a perfect free fall, screaming in absolute terror when something yanked him. He jolted to a stop as his momentum decreased drastically. If it hadn't been for the suit, he likely would have gotten severe whiplash from the suddenness of it all. His hands still had a death grip on the Nullifier. He didn't know what he would have done with it if his fall hadn't been broken. It was more important than his own life, he knew that much. "...Mama?" Neil mumbled, confused by Iris' choice of words. His actual mother was likely at the New York Sanctum right now, probably even joining other sorcerers in defending the world from Galactus. His father had to be with her too. Maybe even his aunties and his cousin, Rebecca.

Banner shouted at them to keep on going and Neil tried to get the thrusters in his suit to work, but they were too damaged. They weren't giving him any lift. A bright light shined on them and Neil instinctively shut his eyes, turning his head away. When he dared to open them again, he noticed a shimmering force surrounding him and Iris. The Surfer continued to fight everyone else, but he didn't seem to see them. "Brace yourself," he told Iris, before Neil concentrated, imagining that he was grabbing both of them with a rope.

And then he telekinetically flung him and Iris up as hard as he could, sending them crashing into the roof of Stark Tower. He scrambled up to his feet, taking a quick moment to get his bearings. He hoped that Sara was okay. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman were there, fighting three clones of the Silver Surfer. Their hands were full. Neil wanted to give the Nullifier to them. He didn't want to be the one to threaten Galactus.

But he couldn't have nice things.

He didn't even know if this would work. He tried to use his telekinesis to disrupt the invisibility Lance gave them. Nothing. He tried again. Still nothing. Again. Nothing. "Mister Fantastic!" Neil called out, before he ran straight towards him, knowing it could get him killed with all the Silver Surfers there. He took the Nullifier and put it into Mister Fantastic's hands. "Go finish this."

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Hospital -- New York City, New York
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

It was mostly a lonely wait in the hospital, leaving Antoinette to pace back and forth, giving rushing nurses and doctors room as they ran past her while she waited for news on Mirembe. Part of her thought she should have gone off and helped Carolina but she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was supposed to be here. If only she knew for what reason. She watched the doors where they had taken Mirembe through so she didn’t notice anything until she heard screaming and shouting.
Antoinette turned her head in time to watch people running before a car came through one of the walls of the hospital. Antoinette dropped to the ground, covering her head from the debris and shielding her face from the dust that followed. She did not need another head injury today. She was stabilized herself and didn’t particularly like the earlier headaches.
With one last look back at the doors, Antoinette made for the new opening in the wall that led her outside the hospital. As she walked, she checked on passing people who had scattered, just to make sure they were okay. There wasn’t a whole lot medically Antoinette could do but another pair of hands in a crisis was always welcomed she thought.
As she stepped out, her blue eye started to glow as she scanned the chaos around her. Just in front of her, two people were locked in battle. It seemed one of them was another Silver Surfer clone and Dr. Strange was challenging him. Antoinette took another few careful steps before she called out.
”Dr. Strange, sir! Could you use an assist?” She knew Dr. Strange was a prideful man, one who usually liked to work alone. At least that’s what the media said.

Iris Rivers

Location: Flying Outside Stark Tower -> the Roof
Skills: Pyrokinesis

As Iris and Neil were enveloped by a bright, nigh divine light, Iris' face contorted, scrunching up, her nose wrinkling and her eyes squeezing shut. One could only guess what the source of the light could've been, but it wasn't exactly an enigma, with their light-manipulating teammate flying near, engaging the Silver Surfer. Iris peeled her eyes back open as she tried to figure out what the use of such a move could be, when her eyes caught glance of the shimmering surrounding her and Neil. Her blonde brows furrowed together in a quiet question at the sight; it looked kind of like what she imagined the inside of a bubble might look like. She didn't allow herself to ponder the strange trick of the light, however, instead readying herself to begin flying back upwards to the roof. Before she could, Neil spoke.

"Brace myself? For wh-" she started to ask, but before she could, she felt a strange force, far different from her suit's thrusters, launch her body into the air. Her eyes were wide as the two speedily flew up to the roof. Her landing was just as graceless as the flight itself, her body tumbling onto the roof, rolling for a few feet. As she got back to her feet, she saw a six forms on the roof, excluding Neil: three Surfers, the Fantastic guy and Invisible lady she'd met earlier, and Upsilon, standing eerily calm next to the fight going on beside him. Neil was gone. She couldn't make out where he was, though she heard him yell out for the elastic man fighting the three metal malefactors. She wasn't sure what Neil's plan was, but she knew anything she could do to help the two superheroes in their fight against the Surfers was something worth doing. Noticing that the titanium trio hadn't yet noticed her, she looked to Upsilon and lowered her voice.

"If you love any scrap of this world, Upsilon: light those motherfuckers up," she quietly hissed. Somewhat surprisingly to Iris, she didn't need to ask twice. She watched the demonic form raise a hand towards one of the Surfers, and she felt her fingers twitch as the familiar feeling of burning in her veins began to surface, signalling use of her power. She watched as the Surfer Upsilon aimed his hand at was engulfed in a ball of bright blue flame. When the flame dissipated, the Surfer was gone, leaving two remaining. Iris' lips curled upward into a smile, pumping her fist in celebration.

Bethany Bell

Location: New York City, Stark Tower, Upper Floor
Skills: Clairvoyance

Bethany was about to get ready to defend herself from the Silver Surfer clone as it launched some shards at them, she was grateful that they had missed them and the others. She looked towards Sara and Allison, she closed her eyes for a moment and tried to use her clairvoyance ability to find the real Silver Surfer, but she couldn't find the right one. And she started to try again a lot harder, but she still couldn't pinpoint him that well but saw that there were some on the roof of Stark Tower.

Beth turned towards the others seeing Guin had used the Iron Legion to attack the Silver Surfers. "I couldn't pinpoint where the real one is but i'm sure it's one of the ones at the roof of the building, lets head up there quickly now." Bethany said as she quickly started to make her way over towards the top floor of the building she hoped that she was actually right with what she saw as well.

Carolina Reed

Location: New York City
Skills: N/A

Carolina stopped when she heard the voice of a woman and quickly made her way down the hallway and quickly entered a room, seeing a young woman who was pinned by a very heavy pillar. "I'm here don't worry." Carolina said as she made her way a little bit closer and seeing the pillar was a lot heavier than she couldn't even try to move it on her own. Carolina tried to move the pillar a little bit letting out a loud groan as Carolina tried to. "I'm not going to leave you." Carolina said, as she looked around, everyone was to busy right now fighting outside, but she had to try and contact someone.

Carolina opened up the comms for her suit to anyone that would be able to hear her. "It's Carolina Reed, I need some help here with some civilians in the building i'm in." Carolina said, as she waited and it didn't take to long for her to finally get a response from none other than Captain America himself"Where are you?" the voice of Captain America answered, letting out a sigh of relief that she managed to contact someone. "I'm in a building near the hospital not to far from Stark Tower itself, i'm not sure how many people are in here right now." Carolina answered.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Stark Tower - Top Floor
Skills: Telepathic Flight (Allison), Power Mimic (Plant Manipulation), Plant Manipulation (Sara)

Sara was a bit miffed her call to action wasn't addressed (not really) and was pretty much shot down, but if what Bethany said was true, then the real Surfer was up on the roof. And with Guin calling for robots to aid them in battle, hopefully, the copies would be held back while they took care of it. Neil and Iris were quickly swept up with Lance and, in a blink, poofed. Sar immediately panicked. The Surfer saw through it and sent a shard at Lance, piercing him. He said to keep going up, so that's what they should do.

Sara noticed that Mary was able to hold the Surfer back nicely with her vines. She copied her powers, looking forward to using them. She summoned spikes and sent them flying towards the phasing Surfer. At first, they wouldn't launch, but then she was able to send them flying, hitting the Silver Surfer. After, The Surfer began to fall. Granted, it was most likely a copy, but they were able to continue going up.

Allison prepared herself for the fight to come. All it took was a trip to the roof. "We're coming up to the final battle. Everyone ready?" She wasn't ready herself, but she still had to do. She summoned her telekinesis to aid her in flight and began to ascend to the roof. Sara followed suit, with her Iron Man suit, and they rose up. Sara wanted to get up to the roof to see Neil.

Hopefully once on the roof, they would tackle Galactus and the Silver Surfer, but they were a small band versus the world eater. Nullifier or not, it was still a big task. And if they failed, that was it. But they faced world-ending situations before. Filled with newfound confidence, Allison spun a bit for flourish, laughing a bit as she did so. Ever the optimist, everyone began to make their way to the roof for the finale.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Stark Tower, Upper Floor
Skills: Flight, Arm gun

Closing her eyes, Elizabeth drew a deep breath. She could do this, she thought, it might even be a little fun, zipping through the air and all that jazz. Ripping the band-aid off, she kicked off the ground, and found herself in freefall for a short moment, before the flight kicked in, pushing her forward, and sending her flying up, instead of crashing down to her death. Taking a moment to take stock of the situation, she found herself ecstatic. This was cool, and if she had any say in the matter she'd be keeping this suit, wanting to be able to do this more in the future.

The roof was the goal once more. Get up there, threaten to use the nullifier on Galactus, and then Vegas. Easy as pie, the hitch, of course, was the Surfers trying to kill them on the way. That was something she could certainly deal with. Shifting her arm into a gun, finally seeming to get the hang of that, she took a shot at one of the surfers, and knocked them off their board. Grinning to herself, she punched the air in pride as she made it to the roof, and landed. "Alright, let's get this thing done, where do we point that nully thingy?" She asked. Things seemed simple enough, there's no way that, once this world eating threat saw it'd die if it tried to consume Earth, that it'd try to continue.

Marygold Isley and Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower Roof
Skills: Light Manipulation

"Wait what?" Reed questioned as he heard Neil and felt the Nullifier get placed in his hand (and it reappeared as well) but he actually seemed a bit confused as to who was talking.

"Reed," Sue responded with a bit of an eye roll, "It's one of the X-Men, they got up here since someone turned them invisible and it wasn't me." With those words she turned and looked right at Neil, able to clearly see him.

"I knew that Sue."

"Quit lying Reed!"

"Well I'm not exactly one to delay or anything," Mary said instantly before she kicked off into the air, taking off upwards to the roof, joining everyone else. Of course, she only really heard Neil and Iris (as well as saw their actions for the most part) but still wasn't able to see them. It was a bit weird, considering the fact that they were having a whole lot of problems amongst the chaos, namely the fact that the Surfers that had been knocked down unfortunately weren't the real Surfer, who was still flying there, and instantly more copies of himself appeared, replacing the two who had fallen, but with a whole lot more now, resulting in 6 of them in total now.

"Okay, that is so unfair... At least we know which one is the real one at the moment, and hopefully we can keep it that way..." With those last words, she flung vines upwards towards the Surfers, however one of them turned it's board on it's side and seemingly absorbed them. "And the unfairness continues. Just our luck. Then again, since when has anything ever gone our way?"

Lance flew upwards to help see about dealing with the Surfer. A small part of him wanted to see about having him try and shift, but considering everything else going on around him, he still wasn't even sure if he could control it. Not to mention his side was still hurting from getting hit by the Surfer's attacks the last time around. Shifting would probably be a really bad idea, considering the fact that the roof despite the size of the building was not exactly the biggest place to be fighting a battle on. Eventually making his way to the top and landing next to everyone else.

"So... What's the plan exactly?" he asked, before the Surfers turned onto the attack, throwing a few blasts towards their way. Luckily, Sue managed to throw up a force field right before the blast hit, giving them some leeway with how much damage it caused, though the floor on which they stood was clearly unstable.

"Not sure how long I can keep this up, just warning you," she said, her nose was bleeding because of just how much damage that had caused, and a bit of blood was also coming from her mouth as she started coughing a little bit. As if right on cue, the force field dissipated and Sue stumbled backwards.

Luckily for them though, someone had sent in the Iron Legion to help.

The 14 robots flew up to the roof and started firing off shots at a few of the Surfer clones, drawing two of them away, leaving the group now with only 4 to deal with. Right? 4 Silver Surfer clones, and given how bad everything had been regarding their fighting one up on Galactus' ship, how bad could it be?

"Well, plan currently is chop these guys down to size so that we can end this, considering the fact that Galactus might not be able to see us with all of the Surfers around trying to stop us!"

"So, attack Surfer clones? Got it," he said before he instantly sent a blast of light slamming into one of the remaining clones. Unfortunately, it only seemed to cause it to somewhat get knocked backwards. "Well this will be fun..."

Stark Tower - Top Floor
Pietro stuck close to Guin as she activated the Iron Legion. "...So, think we'll actually be able to pull this whole thing off?" he couldn't help but ask her as he glanced back outside and they'd be able to feel the rumble from the roof up above from the Surfers' attacks. "...Maybe we should see about getting up there and helping everyone else out..."

Outside of the Hospital
"Ah, thank you miss, I would be much obliged if you could do crowd control, evacuate the civilians as I-" Strange paused for a moment, as a swirling face of a demon seemed to push out of his stomach for a moment, before vanishing. "Apologies, I need to concentrate or Mephisto may enter the fray!" With those words the Surfer clone sent another car flying at Dr. Strange but it was deflected away.

Nearby Building
"I'm less then a block away, I'll see if I can get over there!" Captain America's voice said, before the comm went silent again.

"I-I-Is someone c-c-coming to help?" the woman asked Carolina, but it sounded painful for her to talk at all. She coughed a little bit, blood coming from her mouth, and her skin was deathly pale at this point. Her breathing was short and shallow, and she looked almost like she was fighting to stay awake.

Neil Spellman

Location: Stark Tower - the Roof
Skills: Telekinesis, Telekinetic Combat, Minor Molecular Combustion
Neil was insanely frustrated by all of this. He had given the Nullifier to Mister Fantastic, but the leader of the Fantastic Four hadn't used it against Galactus yet. They were still stuck fighting the stupid Silver Surfer. Everything the herald had said on the ship was a lie. If he didn't want Earth to die, he could have given up by now, told Galactus he was defeated in combat, and they'd be on their way. They had already proven themselves. He gritted his teeth, tempted to scream as the Surfer made even more clones of himself.

Everything else was white noise to him. He didn't see the others fly up to the roof (and since Lance was still making Iris and Neil invisible, the others weren't able to see him). His ears were ringing, not because his hearing aids had failed (they were working just fine), but out of pure rage. He let out a guttural scream as he telekinetically yanked on the board of the real Silver Surfer. The Surfer tried to call the board back to him, causing the silver weapon to be lifted in the air, straining between the two forces. Neil tried to tug it fully over to himself, to use his powers of combustion to damage it, but it was no use. The board returned to the Surfer.

"Why don't you just die?" he growled. He wasn't about to give up. He tugged on the board again and it shot off like a rocket, coming to Neil's call as he clasped his gloved hands on it tightly.

Guin Stark

Location: Stark Tower - Top Floor -> the Roof
Skills: N/A
Guin gave Pietro a bit of a quizzical look. He was a lot calmer now about the idea of her going up there and fighting with everyone else than he had been previously. "Yeah, come on, Silver Balls. The Iron Legion is pretty badass but we still gotta go save the world," she told him with a smirk. Guin then activated the thrusters on her suit and she flew out the window, through the already shattered glass. She shot up to the top of the tower, just in time to see one of the Silver Surfers fighting for his board with... the air? Figuring that Invisible Woman must have been hiding someone, Guin directed almost all of the power in her suits to her repulsor gauntlets she had crafted.

"Hey, Ugly!" Guin shouted, trying to catch the attention of the Silver Surfer. Her repulsors hit full charge and she sent off a massive blast at him, unaware that she had just hit the real Surfer and he was blown backwards. She flew forwards, hovering over the roof, as she repeated the same trick again two more times. The Silver Surfer was knocked to the ground and the clones flickered for a moment, causing her eyes to light up. That must have been the real one. The real one didn't have the surfboard. He was obviously in pain and hurting. "Babes, go after this one - it's the real piece of shit!" she informed Pietro (and everyone else within earshot, although they weren't Babes to her).

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Outside Hospital ---> Block from Hospital -- New York City, New York
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Antoinette jumped when a creature seemed to be coming out of Dr. Strange’s stomach and he merely pulled him back in. She blinked a few times as he finished talking to her. ”Right… she said. Nothing should surprise Antoinette, with the things she had seen since being a part of the X-Men but there was a certain shock value that came with the job that no one could really prepare for. The only ones she could see not reacting to Dr. Stranges’ friend would maybe be the other Avengers.
Antoinette turned around and scanned the area around her looking for any civilians and what the best route to get them to safety would be. She determined that the best route would be down a nearby street to a subway she remembered passing. It wouldn’t be street level, which was ideal but being underground had its own risks. Still, Antoinette saw nine civilians near her and immediately moved towards them, ensuring her face shield was down so they saw her clearly and she started to urge them away from the fighting and to follow her to the subway a block away.

Iris Rivers

Location: Stark Tower - The Roof
Skills: Pyrokinesis

Iris watched with annoyance as her destruction of a Surfer was quickly undone by the apparition of a few more, bringing the total up to six. Her thin lips turned into a frown as her forehead wrinkled in frustration. Her expression, still hidden behind a helmet and an unknown force keeping her invisible, softened as she took notice of those who began to land around her, her frown slowly shifting into a grin. It would appear the tables had turned. "That's right! You're not the only one who can multiply, you useless hunk of magic space metal!" she called out, though the taunt was perhaps ill-timed, as just when she had finished, the force field that had been protecting the team dropped. Iris raised her arms in front of her face defensively, casting a glance over at Mary as she gave the plan of action. It seemed to her that it leaned more heavily towards the 'action' part than the 'plan' part.

"Good to know that the X-Men contain only the most talented of strategists," Iris said, her smirk audible in her voice, sounding more playful than malicious. But even with Mary's clear instructions, Iris held back from attacking, waiting for something she couldn't quite place. She watched as one lost its board to an unknown force, before revving up to attack the boardless wonder. Before she could (or rather, ask Upsilon politely if he could) the Stark girl launched up from the side of the building. She let off a number of attacks that seemed to launch an adequate amount of damage at what turned out to be the right Surfer, before informing the others to do the same. Iris beamed. She'd always wanted friends who called her 'babes,' but she'd always assumed it was a thing they only did in the United Kingdom.

"You got it babes!" she replied, jutting an invisible thumbs up into the air, before looking to the fallen Surfer. Upsilon was already creeping towards him, his horrific face opening up to reveal blue flames. "You heard the lady, Upsilon." With that, Upsilon nodded, lifting up his arms. Another torrent of flame spewed from his hand, launching out towards the Surfer. Unfortunately, it missed, quickly fading. The same happened with the second arm, the flames disappearing without doing any damage. An awkward frown was painted on Iris' lips. "Uh, Upsilon, now's not the time for warning shots!" she called out, in response to which the hallucination glared back at her with as much annoyance as it could show on its featureless face.

Bethany Bell

Location: New York City, Stark Tower, Roof
Skills: Shadow Manipulation

Bethany watched as Sue brought up a shield to protect all of them from the Silver Surfer clones attacks on them, shielding her eyes slightly. She let out a slight sigh when none of them were hurt at all, as Guin came in and saw the Iron Legion coming in and started to attack all of the Silver Surfer clones. Neil managing to yank one of the clones surf boards away, and Guin attacking the other, for a moment she noticed that they all flickered. The one that Guin had attacked must have been the actual real one and started to smile a bit Bethany really didn't like him after blocking her powers back on Galactus' ship.

Iris started to try and attack him but failed. Which made her shake her head slightly as Bethany closed her eyes and started to use her powers again, though the first time it didn't work at all. Which made her even more angry and Bethany managed to latch her shadow onto Silver Surfer's this time. Getting a really firm grip on him, Bethany flung The Silver Surfer as hard as she could sending him into the closest wall, instantly knocking him out seeing The Silver Surfer laying down on the ground. "That's for blocking my powers earlier." Bethany said as she pulled the visor off of the helmet looking over at Sue and Mr. Fantastic. "So, since we just knocked him out can we send the giant purple space alien that eats planets away now?" She asked seeing all of the clones now disappeared.

Carolina Reed

Location: New York City
Skills: N/A

Carolina knelt down to the woman and gently held onto her hand and gave her a smile trying to be there for the woman she wasn't sure what she could do. She wasn't strong enough to lift the rubble off of her as she started to scan around the room, when she couldn't find anything at all which was really upsetting to her feeling useless at the moment. "Captain America is on his way, just stay with me a little bit longer." Carolina said trying to cheer the woman up some more, pulling off her helmet and gently laying it down on the ground and started to adjust her hair a little bit.

"Do you have a family or something? I'm Carolina, whats your name?" Carolina asked seeing the woman's face getting paler now and started to cough up some blood as well, she couldn't do anything at all to help, as she started to panic a little bit. Carolina hoped that she could keep her awake long enough and conscious to get the help that she needs, before putting the helmet back on to speak through the radio to Captain America. "I need medical assistance right away to."

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: Stark Tower - Roof
Skills: N/A

Once everyone had gathered on the roof, it was clear the battle was far from over as a multitude of Surfer clones flew around. Invisible Woman looked hurt and Allison felt a small kinship with the woman. They shared a similar powerset, after all. Still, everyone had managed to turn the tide. Someone had called forth a legion of robots to aid them. Allison assumed it was Guin, which meant she was back and, hopefully, managing herself with Pietro.

Sara came up and stood by Neil, aware that the boy was probably in a mood. She would have to talk to him later, but for now, they had some Surfers and a World Eater to deal with. Thankfully, people managed to bash clones and the robots helped a lot. Soon, the clones were being picked off one by one. Sara had to wonder just what Surfer's deal was. He hadn't seemed to really be a bad person. He saved her life after all.

Allison heard Guin. The real one was hurting, but soon the tide was in their favor. "The clones are taken care of for the most part and the real one is more or less stopped. Let's end the world ender." And that was the moral question. Did they destroy the giant who took planets, destroyed all but some life forms, and kept those forms in prison on his ship? Or did they let him go after striking a blow at him? And if they did destroy him, what of those aliens on the ship?

Sara didn't much care. The World Eater deserved any recompense given to him. "Just say the world faithful leader and let's get him." Sara had directed that to no one in particular, even though Mary was technically their leader, but it could just as easily be Mr. Fantastic. He was, after all, part of the team that sent them all on this suicide mission. Sara was just hankering for the final battle to commence.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: Stark Tower, Roof
Skills: Transmutation

Elizabeth looked over at Sue, and said, "Let's get you out of harms way, I'll let you out when this is all over." Before placing her hand on the ground around her. Elizabeth's power wasn't too good for combat, but it let her reshape the battlefield in useful and unique ways, that was what she had to leverage. Closing her eyes, she gritted her teeth for a moment, finding the roof to be unyielding. Pushing her hand more firmly into it, she made eye contact with Sue, and imagined what she wanted, the equivalent of an inverted, concrete culender surrounding her.

Erupting from the ground around her, Sue would soon be encased by a dome, which would hopefully keep her safe until this was all over. The help having a member of the Fantastic Four on their side could get them wasn't worth losing their lives forever. She wasn't a doctor, but Sue just didn't look good. Turning her attention towards the sky, Elizabeth said, "We're still hoping he'd rather leave than have one of us die and kill him. Let's pray he isn't the stubborn type." Elizabeth didn't want to have to lose one of their team members to this, but there wasn't a question in her mind that, if he didn't yield, they'd have to kill him.

Marygold Isley and Lance Banner

Location: Stark Tower Roof
Skills: N/A

Lance was a bit confused for a moment as to where the fire was coming from and what was really going on, but then remembered something and almost smacked himself in the head for forgetting about Iris and Neil. "Whoops... Forgot about you two," he said with a shrug, before he waved his hand and in a flash of light Iris and Neil reappeared in front of everyone. "Totally forgot you two were invisible, sorry about that."

"Remember not to piss you off Bethany," Mary said with a bit of a laugh as she had gotten rid of the Surfer clones who were no longer racing around. The Surfer wasn't even getting back up off of the ground anymore, meaning that they only had to deal with the actual purple planet eater. "So... Any idea on how to get his attention?" she then asked Mister Fantastic.

"Yeah, we essentially yell at him. Since you can see that he's up above the city."

"Well I mean, that's just a given truthfully..."

"Or you can flash a light of some kind to try and get his attention."

"Hold on, I've got this," Lance said, before he created a rather large ball of light and sent it flying upwards towards Galactus. "Now hopefully he doesn't think that is the sun or something like that."

Of course, luckily for them (or unluckily for them, depends on your perspective) they would be able to see the head of the Planet Eater turn towards them as the ball of light when flying by him, and now he was looking directly at them. Suddenly, he seemed to get closer, as in a lot closer to them, they'd actually be able to see more of his complete body, and of course they'd have to look more or less straight up now to see his face, as it was clear that now he was looking directly at them.

"What could you mortals want? The end is nigh, you can not win this fight. Your planet will be consumed, and all life on it will end."

"Well isn't this guy a bit full of himself..."

"Galactus! Leave, since despite what you may believe, we can stop you, and we can kill you!"

"Oh really?

Hey Guina, pretty sure this guy is trying to test to see if he's bluffing or not, since I'm pretty sure there are several people here who would use that device if need be... Still find it hard to believe that that small device is capable of destroying that giant guy.

Outside of the Hospital
Luckily for Annie, she wouldn't have too much difficulty racing towards the Subway station. Actually, the streets were somewhat calming down, and the sounds of fighting is starting to go away. She'll just barely avoid leading the group directly into the way of falling debris. Actually as she heads along, she'll see Captain America racing by, heading towards the direction that Carolina had gone off to. He looked like he was talking over the comms to someone.

Nearby Building
"I've called for a few people from the hospital nearby and told them that it was an emergency," his voice instantly responded, "I'm almost there."

"F-F-Flora, Flora Nichols," she responded, taking another raspy breath. Carolina would be able to tell from the sounds nearby that the fighting seemed to have either gone away, or had stopped all together. "M-M-My parents took my daughter out of town a few days ago. She's 6 years old... My little Jazzy, they are the only f-f-family I have..." She started coughing more blood up when Carolina would hear the sounds of rubble shifting nearby.

"I'm here," Cap's voice said instantly as he raced over and took a look at the situation. "Alright, here's what we're going to do, I'm going to lift the pillar, you pull her out, okay?" he told her, before looking at the woman. "Don't worry ma'am, we'll have you out of here real quick, alright? Then we're going to get you to the hospital... Just know that when I shift the pillar, this will probably hurt, okay?"

"A-A-Alright..."

"Good, okay, on the count of three, one, two, three!" when he said the last word, he lifted the pillar up, waiting for Carolina to pull the woman out, who let out a cry of pain from the pillar shifting.
