Responding to people is always acceptable, just be aware of how far or fast you move your character in relation to others, don't move on from someone or somewhere without giving others around you a chance to respond.

At this point I would say no, maybe later on in the story we could pick up another robin.

@Metronome Absolutely. Could have Steve getting ready to make his grand escape then suddenly everything get cold and the grim reaper himself passes straight through him. That'd be great.
