Pietro luckily had quick enough reflexes to set Guin down on the ground again before Cass hugged her a bit. "Woooooow a bit rude don't ya think?" he asked with a smirk, waving slightly at Cass. "Maybe in a little bit Guina, I'm really hungry. I will be back in a few moments," Pietro said, before waving slightly at Elizabeth and taking off in a large gust of wind. He wasn't gone for very long though, as he was soon back, but this time he had a plate of food in his hands and was munching away. "Sometimes having a speedsters metabolism gets really annoying," he mumbled, just eating the food.

Mary had more or less just been happy to be there for her best friend's wedding, and she truly was happy for her. She also understood entirely the idea of there not being all too many people being around, considering the fact that Guin had grown up somewhat in the spotlight. The stories about her horror show of a mother definitely made her extremely glad that Maddie was nowhere in sight. Walking over to Guin and Pietro, seeing the others there, she just gave her friend a smile. "Glad to see you seem to be enjoying yourself Guin, though never thought I'd ever see you burst into tears like that," Mary teased her friend with a smile.

Pietro chuckled slightly at that comment, before he put his free arm around Guin's shoulders. Still my Guina.

Lance was more of standing off by himself, not really sure what to even say or do, he didn't care much for parties of any sort, but he was there mainly because he wanted to be there for Guin. She was a sister to him, having grown up together since they were 11 or so. He had found a spot to stand off to the side, just watching what was going on around him, not really caring to just drop in on any conversations. Guin was swarmed by people fairly quickly, so he figured that he'd talk to her a little bit afterwards.

"So Guin, question for you, a sort of serious one. How does it feel to be a married woman? Since not all too sure when I first met you you ever thought of being married now did you?" Mary then asked with a bit of a giggle, smiling somewhat still. This was a sort of interesting question, since she didn't know at all if Guin ever imagined herself as someone who would get married, especially considering who her father sort of was.

"...Congrats Guin," Mira said softly having walked over to at least say that to Guin, before she wandered a bit away from the crowd that had gathered around the newlyweds. She ended up wandering over to where Allison was and waved at her slightly. "...So how are you doing Allison?" she asked her.

The other guests were more of scattered about the whole reception area. Hawkeye and his family, along with Black Widow had found a table off to the side and were sitting there talking. About what? Who knows really. Pepper and Happy were talking about something, sort of quietly it seemed, but they weren't too far away from where Tony and Rhodey were talking, though it looked like Tony might soon walk over towards where Guin and everyone over there was. Cap was talking to Banner at another table (after Cap had let Elizabeth take a bit of a look at his shield which he carried around with him everywhere) not too far from where Bethany and Iris were. A few of Guin's high school friends weren't too far from Carolina and Annie, and were talking a bit about some random stuff, superheroes could be heard popping up in the conversation but of course, they were at a wedding with a bunch of superheroes at it. Wanda and Vision were not too far away from Neil and Sara talking, and there was one person who oddly was off by himself, not too far away from where Allison and Mira were. Thor was sitting at a table by himself, almost like he was thinking about something, his hammer Mjolnir was sitting on the table in front of him.

"...What's up with Thor? I thought Asgardians were all for some sort of parties or something like that," Mira commented quietly to Allison glancing over at the Asgardian.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: The Reception
Skills: N/A

Allison, drink in hand, glanced over at Guin and Pietro as a small crowd surrounded them. She wanted to go and check on Guin herself, but she figured there were enough people surrounding her, and she didn't want to add to anything. There was plenty of time during the night to check on the blushing bride. Or bawling bride as it appeared to be. Allison had not seen Guin let out so many tears before. Allison was a crier, but Guin was usually more stoic. Guess weddings made almost everyone a romantic.

Sara checked Wanda and the red being with her as Neil pointed them out. She did a double-take, as she figured Neil was right. She had made sure she was close to Neil, knowing the guy was not comfortable with lots of people around him. He was putting on a brave front, and she wondered if it was for Guin or for her. Or both, perhaps. "It does look like that, yes. I wonder what his deal is. Wonder what her deal is also." Sara wasn't surprised to see Wanda here, even though she had caused problems in the past. Didn't everyone deserve redemption?

Allison spun as she heard her name called and saw Mira striding forward, looking beautiful. "Hey Mira! Enjoying the reception?" Mira and her hadn't talked too much before, but Allison felt bad at how things played out during Guin's bachelorette party and Allison aimed to make it up to her. "I'm a straight-up mess of emotions if I am being honest. Weddings always get to me, but it's worse when you know and care about the people. You should see me watching proposal videos on YouTube. I'm a wreck." She giggled a bit.

Mira then pointed out Thor and Allison turned to look at the Asgardian. Mira was right, Thor was looking particularly dour right now with his hammer in front of him. "You're right. He doesn't look like he's in a party mood. Perhaps it has to do with his hammer thingy?" Sara had noticed him too. "What's his deal, do you reckon?" she asked Neil. Allison wondered what was up. "Should we go check on him? Everyone should be up in spirits." That and Allison wanted to talk to Thor a bit too. Her obsession with Iron Man died out as she got to know him better through Guin, but that did not mean she still didn't have her girlish dreams about the other Avengers.

Guin Stark

Location: the Reception
Skills: N/A
Guin was pretty used to being the center of attention at this point. It came with the territory when you were the daughter of Iron Man, a famous X-Men in your own right - and now the wife of Quicksilver as well. She had grown up with cameras flashing in her eyes incessantly, so the little swarm of people gathering around her didn't bother her all too much. Her mother wasn't there and that was all that mattered. "Thanks Cass," she told her former mentor, returning her hug.

That was another thing Guin was glad about - Mary and Cass seemed to have finally buried the hatchet. It had been a few years since Guin worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. and at this point, she had been a member of the X-Men far longer than she had ever been an agent, but she still felt a connection to her former S.H.I.E.L.D. family. Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, had been a mother figure to her, teaching her how to fight and defend herself. She had occasionally spent the night with the Bartons place out in the country, exposing their children to the wonders/horrors of technology.

"Thanks, Elizabeth," she told one of the youngest and newest members of the X-Men with a smile. "You know, I bet you'd get along great with my friend Peter Parker," she then added, before pointing out where Peter and some of her other high school friends were. "Also... If you want to drink, go for it," she finished, her voice lowered so that way only Elizabeth could hear. Pietro returned a split second later with a large platter of food and Guin rolled her eyes. She playfully punched his shoulder. "You're unbelievable sometimes," she said, shaking her head.

Mary came on over to them next, of course electing to tease her about bursting into tears. "I'm human, sue me," she quipped back. Strictly speaking Guin was a mutant, but she still considered the term human to apply, at least in that sort of context. Mary's question caught her off guard for a moment. She was right. Guin hadn't ever imagined herself getting married, tying the knot and settling down. "I mean I don't really feel different?" Guin admitted. "Like I'm not going to turn my body into an incubator and start cranking out babies, or quit the X-Men and become a stay at home mom or anything... That's just not my style. I feel like marriage for me is more like... telling the world mine. No one else is going to get a shot at Piet. No one else is going to get a shot at me. Everyone who had dreams of marrying me to inherit the Stark family fortune, well, sucks to suck y'know? And I'm not changing my name either. I'm no one's property. Plus I always get free stuff whenever I drop my surname in conversation. Can't pass that up."

She smiled and waved at Mira. She still felt guilty for what had happened at the O.M.E.N. facility. If she hadn't told Mira to use her powers like that, then Mira wouldn't have killed all of those people. Their blood was on Guin's hands too. She was glad though to see that Mira seemed relatively sane and normal after that - and not a crazy psychopath.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Reception
Skills: N/A
Neil couldn't help but stare at Vision and the Scarlet Witch. It was weird enough to see the Scarlet Witch in a context where they weren't fighting her - but with a robot laughing and holding her like they were in a relationship? He had no idea what to think about that. Had Guin or her father made a robot boyfriend for Wanda? Shouldn't there be some sort of law against creating a lifelike robot - albeit with magenta skin - and giving them as a gift to an (ex)-super villain? His eyes darted around the reception area and none of the Avengers seemed to be concerned, so he guessed that it was okay - still though, it was weird.

Sara seemed to be gravitating over towards Mira and Allison, so Neil followed. He liked Mira - she was in his Dungeons and Dragons group, so he ended up spending a fair bit of time with her. Allison though he didn't know as well. She was easily one of the most popular people at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Conversely, Neil was pretty sure he ranked somewhere in the bottom ten, if not the outright bottom. He thought quietly for a moment, looking over at Thor. He did seem pretty sad and lonely. Maybe he was homesick, missing Asgard and their wedding rituals. Maybe they didn't have the sort of alcohol or food that he liked here. "I have an idea," Neil said quietly, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a travel sized game he had smuggled into the wedding. He didn't know how long the reception was going to last and he figured it was best to be prepared.

"Hey, uh, Thor?" Neil greeted. "We were going to play Cards Against Humanity, do you want to join?" he asked. Neil took a seat down at Thor's table and placed the game next to Thor's hammer.

Cassandra Reed

Location: - The Reception

"Well i'm really happy to see you and Pietro together, you two are a really cute couple." Cassandra said towards Guin, as she looked over her shoulder as Mary came up to them to greet the bride and smiled a little bit. Mary seemed to be better now with her being around and not beating her up. "So does this mean i'm welcome back at the mansion now Mary?" Cassandra asked looking over at her, before the whole bachelorette party Mary didn't hurt her or anything, but she genuinely did have a lot of fun back there. Cass looked towards Mira for a moment before she went off to go and talk to Allison by the looks of it.

"So whats next for the two of you anyway, if you aren't ready to settle down and have kids?" Cass asked looking at the two of them as Pietro managed to grab a bowel of food nearby complaining about the metabolism that he had. It did remind her of Oliver as well a member of her own team who turned out to be an inhuman as well. She looked back towards Guin and nodded she agreed with her, and was still happy and proud of her as well.

Carolina Reed

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

Carolina felt Annie grabbing her hand and smiled a little bit, and followed her friend, though she noticed that Guin and Pietro were kind of preoccupied with several people including her sister. She was really happy that Guin had invited her sister to the wedding as well, she looked towards Annie. "Lets give them a little bit of space." Carolina said to Annie as she looked around seeing a few kids around their age talking and picking up a small bit of conversation mentioning superheroes. Carolina looked over and noticed that Lance was by himself at the moment and gently nudged Annie.

"Lets see how Lance is doing." Carolina said as she turned and led Annie over towards Lance and smiled towards him for a moment. "How are you doing Lance, having fun?" Carolina asked him, since he was by himself at the moment she thought it was nice to give him a little bit of company as well. She was still surprised that Lance had turned into a Hulk during the whole thing with Galactus and all, as she watched everyone else doing their own thing.

Bethany Bell

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

Bethany looked over at the table with Captain America and Bruce Banner there talking amongst themselves wondering what they were talking about. As Bethany watched everyone rather closely and took another sip of her drink and leaned back slightly when Iris came over to her seeing the girl dancing and drinking already. The girl was certainly really weird in her own opinion, as Bethany watched Guin and Pietro getting bombarded with some of the others. "Don't get to drunk and blackout now." Bethany said looking up at Iris, as much as she preferred to be alone she didn't really mind of care if someone decided to join her. Though she noticed Thor by himself looking a little down or something and some of the other members of the team going over to check up on him.

She was a little bit interested in Scarlet Witch and Vision who seemed to be talking, she didn't remember the whole House of M reality that she had made, but decided to see what the two of them were up to anyway. "I'm going to go and talk to the two of them." Bethany said to Iris before getting up and made her way towards Vision and Scarlet Witch, whether Iris wanted to come with her or not was up to her. "Hi there, how are the two of you, enjoying the wedding?" Bethany asked.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Antoinette nodded in agreement with Carolina. Those two would soon be bombarded with well wishers and they had gotten Guin all to themselves for a fair bit of the time, being a part of the wedding party and all. Antoinette was watching guests mingle and people drink too much and dance like no one was watching. It was a beautiful thing to behold and Antoinette was suddenly inspired by the idea for a painting.
She followed Carolina’s lead over to Lance, who was standing by himself for the time being and Antoinette gave a small wave once they were near him. ”Would you like a drink, water or perhaps something else?” Antoinette offered. Antoinette’s blue eye started to glow faintly, out of habit more than anything as she tried to gage if Lance wanted to be left alone or not. Some people just prefered their own company at large gatherings like these. It could become a bit overwhelming, even when among friends. From what she could gather though, he didn’t mind the two of them, or a small gathering, just not the large gathering like Antoinette had assumed.

Mary rolled her eyes a little bit at Cass, especially considering the fact that now was not the time to be bringing something like that up, when they were at a wedding. Was right now really the time to be advocating for yourself like that? It put another notch in her mind as to why she hated SHIELD and everyone with them, since apparently they thought it was all about them even while at an event that clearly wasn't. "How about we don't talk about that right now, okay? No use bringing up something that happened a while ago. We can talk about it later."

At least that is what she said outloud, however she dropped her voice low enough (and made it so that no one could notice her adding anything else) so that only Cass could hear her. "At least I was nice enough to not try and start anything at the wedding, you know how I feel about SHIELD so how about you drop it, since currently sounds like you are trying to make this day about you and not them."

Hearing Guin's response to her question and it made her laugh somewhat. "I don't think anyone would be able to succeed in ever telling you what to do Guin." Mentally in her head, Guin would be able to hear Pietro somewhat chuckling, since he clearly found her choice of words to be mildly amusing.

That is an interesting way to put it, also you sound a bit possessive there, he said to her, still somewhat laughing at her word choice.

Lance glanced over at Carolina and Annie as they walked over and he just sort of shrugged in response, "Eh, fun is an interesting way to put it considering the fact that now there is literally nothing going on or whatever. I'm not typically one for being around these sort of things..." he told her, not really sure what else to say at all. He glanced over at Annie when she asked about getting a drink or something. "Uh, no, I'm fine thanks..."

Mira wasn't entirely sure what Neil was doing when he wandered over to Thor, but she had to stop herself from giggling somewhat when he pulled out a game and asked Thor if he wanted to play. The reason she had to stop herself from laughing was because the game was Cards Against Humanity, and playing that card game with the god of thunder would probably be hilarious, and she wandered over to that area to see what was going to happen now.

Thor looked at Neil for a moment, wearing a pair of sunglasses even though it was late in the evening. His beard had grown out and he had braided it, with various beads placed inside of it. Otherwise, he looked much as he did in the news - a long red cape, Asgardian armor that gleamed in the light, and a winged helmet (although this was down on the table). "What, pray tell, might this be?" Thor asked Neil. "My brother Loki and I, we used to play games all the time. Although they usually ended in him turning into a snake and biting me...."

"Yes, it is rather.... what's the word...." Vision paused for a moment. "Beautiful, there it is. I apologize, my verbal processor seems to have been impacted by the events. I will need to edit my code to ensure a correction."

Wanda rolled her eyes at Vision. "Who thought you were a hopeless romantic? And it was fine, I guess. My brother seems happy... for now."

Iris Rivers

Location: The Reception

"What are you, my mom?" Iris said with a laugh when Bethany attempted to warn her against drinking too heavily. In all honesty, it wasn't exactly an accurate jest, considering her mother was all for celebratory drinking. When the dark-haired girl stood to leave, Iris wasn't exactly surprised. In the time she'd been in the 'civilized' world, she had become used to people making up reasons to excuse themselves from her presence. She suspected it was because she didn't exactly fit what they'd been conditioned to think of as normal. So when Bethany announced her intentions to go talk to Wanda and Vision, leaving out an invitation, Iris assumed it was one of those times, and simply raised her bottle in acknowledgement.

"The robot and the mechaniphile? Have fun with that," Iris said, before pulling the bottle up to her lips for a sip, never breaking from her dance moves. She didn't really have any need to go talk to the pair of them. They didn't exactly seem like her kind of fun, and there wasn't any piece of very important, crucial question she absolutely needed to kno- Her eyes widened as a very important, crucial question regarding the two came to mind. She looked over to Bethany, walking away, and, before she got out of earshot, she called, "Yo, ask if he has a dick!"

Guin Stark

Location: the Reception
Skills: N/A
Guin smiled a bit uneasily as Cass asked Mary whether or not she would be welcome at the Xavier Institute again. The ending of the partnership between the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. had been messy to say the least, further complicated by the top secret program Cass had been recruited for shortly afterwards. Guin's memories of that time were a bit cloudy, consisting of a blur of grieving over the death of Muscles, the future counterpart of Pietro. Her smile fell as she remembered the way his corpse looked, covered in all of that blood... Her eyes darted over towards her husband. Would he be killed by anti-mutant extremists in less than a decade? Her chest felt a bit tight, the amount of air she drew in with each breath decreasing.

"Y-yeah..." Guin told Mary absentmindedly, before shaking her head a little bit. It was her wedding day and she was determined to enjoy herself. Her fingers were shaking slightly and her head felt light in spite of her best efforts to remain calm. "I mean... I'm not sure if I ever want kids," she answered Cass, trying to focus on the question and not think more about how the ruby red blood had contrasted with Muscles' silver hair. "I don't think we're going to do things really any different. Probably just stick with the X-Men, save the world from annoying villains who need to be defeated by finding some sort of MacGuffin, and then be called menaces to society on the nightly news."

Pietro sent a soothing sensation through their mental link, clearly picking up on the slight PTSD flashback Guin was having. It's okay Guina.

"You know, actually, my dad looks like he wants to come talk to me and he paid for all of this, so I ought to go do that," Guin said, excusing herself. She squeezed Pietro's hand. Guin then gave a smile to everyone there before walking over to her father where he was talking with Rhodey. "Hey, Daddy."

Neil Spellman

Location: the Reception
Skills: N/A
For a brief moment, Neil realized how surreal speaking to Thor really was. He had been raised by witches, celebrating holidays such as Yule, the Hare Moon, Lupercalia, and Feast of Feasts. His aunties prayed to various pagan deities and he was pretty sure that they had prayed to Thor from time to time. Neil's beliefs were more on the agnostic side - maybe his aunties were right about everything, maybe they weren't. He hadn't made up his mind yet, though he supposed he believed in Thor since... well, he was standing right there in front of them, looking like someone on a bender. Had Ragnarok happened or something?

"It's a card game," Neil explained, opening up the box. "Basically, the black cards are questions or statements. Players pick a white card to answer the question or complete the phrase. The judge then reads all of the cards and decides which one they like best, usually what's the most demented or funniest..." He was suddenly nervous that he had forgotten something important when explaining the basics of the game. For some reason, Neil really wanted to make a good impression on the God of Thunder. "And, uh, you determine the first judge by who.... who pooped last." Neil then turned bright red. He wished that some deity would blast him out of existence.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills:

Antoinette smiled a little at Lance’s response and the idea of having fun. ”I’ve never been to a wedding before,” she said, sitting down. ”It seems to be quite eccentric. Everyone having their own brand of fun.” She watched the people move and had to admit, Lance had a good vantage point over here to watch the inner workings of a party. ”This is an excellent place to observe such a thing but I do find partaking in the events to be much more educational. How about a dance then? Just one and then we will leave you to your observations,” Antoinette suggested, looking over at Lance.
The atmosphere of the event was a rather powerful one and nearly intoxicating itself. Antoinette wasn’t sure how much drinking would occur tonight but perhaps there wouldn’t be a need for a lot with everyone feeding off of each other. She stood back up, taking Carolina’s hand before offering her’s out to Lance, hoping he would join them but knew she couldn’t force him into it. Lance was a friend to Antoinette and when Wanda changed the world, a lot of things changed within the both of them. What used to be more for Antoinette, faded into the lighthearted way of friendship and Antoinette felt much more relaxed around Lance then in the past.

Cassandra Reed

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

Cassandra looked towards Mary for a moment when she whispered back towards her, she was only joking when she said that and turned towards Guin for a moment, it did make it look like she was making it about her now that she thought about it. "Alright then lets talk about it later." Cass said back to Mary quietly staring at her for a moment, they were friendly during Guin's bachelorette party, but she wasn't going to say anything else and took a step back and nodded towards Guin giving her friend a slight smile when she answered her question. And then making her way over towards Tony.

She didn't really want to be anywhere near Mary right now at the moment, though she noticed Hawkeye and Blackwidow with his family and decided to check up with them. "If you need me i'll be nearby." Cassandra said, she didn't really feel like talking to Mary right then and there in the middle of Guin's wedding reception which is all about her and Pietro after all as well. "How are you all doing?" Cassandra asked when she stepped over towards them, figuring that it would be nice to talk with her fellow SHIELD agents.

Carolina Reed

Location: - The Reception

Carolina smiled a little bit feeling Annie grabbing her hand and trying to get her a little bit closer to Lance, though she did think that he was cute. And they did bond together over their time in the medical area of the mansion after getting their head injuries from the whole Mesmero thing. She mostly saw him as a close friend, but dancing with friends wasn't a bad thing either as Carolina blushed a little bit. She wasn't really to much of a dancer in her own mind either though, she did remember the whole dancing in Magneto's massive home in House of M with October as well.

"I mean that's if you want to dance either way or we can just stand and chat or something to and watch everything." Carolina said shrugging slightly, while looking over at Annie and gently messed with her friend's hair a little bit. Carolina did enjoy the wedding and being apart of Guin's bridesmaid as well she noticed her sister walking away and going to talk with Hawkeye by the looks of it as well and Guin going to see her father.

Bethany turned to look over her shoulder at Iris when she spoke, her face instantly turning red when Iris wanted her to ask Vision if he had a dick or not. She certainly didn't roll that way at all really either and she was sure as hell wasn't going to ask that at all, Bethany shook her head a little bit. She wasn't even sure if Vision or Wanda heard Iris yell that out which was really just embarrassing as well. The girl was certainly really strange in her own opinion and Beth wasn't going to ask that at all as she turned her attention back towards Wanda and Vision.

"I'm really sorry if you heard her ask that." Beth said shaking her head slightly, she wasn't really sure what to actually say while looking over at the couple. "Glad you guys are having fun, how did you guys meet anyway?" Beth asked as she watched some of the others going over to Thor and Neil was holding a deck of cards by the looks of it.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: The Reception
Skills: N/A

Allison noticed Neil and Sara make their way to Thor and Mira followed. Allison followed closely after to see what was up. As she approached, she heard Neil speak up about a card game and asked Thor if he wanted to join. Allison found it kind of cute that Neil seemed to be breaking out of his shell, even just a little bit. Sara must be rubbing off on him. Or his time with them was helping. Either way, she was happy to see the growth.

Sara held in her laughter hearing Neil ask Thor to play and especially when he mentioned that whoever took a dump last went first. She coughed, clearing her throat. "Yeah, it's pretty fun. It's also very...wrong. Like not that kind of wrong, more like the 'we shouldn't talk or joke about that but we do anyway and laugh because we are most likely going to hell or whatever your damned afterlife is' kind of wrong. Totally fun though!"

Allison had heard of the game but had never played. She was by no means a prude, but she didn't relish too much in that kind of humor. But it seemed Thor could use some cheering up. "Got room for one more? Maybe two if Mira wants to join?" She looked at Mira. She knew Mira played D&D with the crew but didn't know if she would be into this sort of thing. "And I guarantee no one will turn into a snake and bite you. Well...I guess that's a possibility? I don't know everyone here."

Sara also decided to join as she took a seat at the table. "Ok so who pooped last? Own up. We all do it." Allison blushed a little. "Umm, I relieved myself this morning." Sara smirked, hearing Barbie doll admit to defecating. "Well that beats me. How about the rest of you?" She was getting a kick out of this alone. Forget the game, making people mildly uncomfortable was amusing in and of itself.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: The Reception

Rubbing her metallic arm, Elizabeth smiled at Guin's attempt to make her feel more comfortable. That was nice of her, and Elizabeth really did appreciate it. She gave a small laugh when Guin told her she could drink and said, "I might take you up on that... Thanks Guin." Stepping away from the bride, she decided that talking to somebody closer to her own did sound like it would be nice, and started walking towards Peter Parker and his marry band of kids. She wondered why he was here, if he were perhaps a fellow new mutant to the X-men, or just a personal friend of Guin's. Feeling that might be a bad thing to lead with, she instead opted to let him bring it up, if he wanted.

As she closed the distance between herself and the other highschoolers, she lost her voice for a moment. She knew people'd be looking at her arm, but it wasn't exactly the kind of thing she could hide. Deciding to just hope they wouldn't make fun of her for it, she waited for a natural point to break into the conversation, and said, "Pretty awesome party huh? Where're y'all from?" Her southern dialect started to come out again, as it tended to when she was nervous, but she powered through, "Name's Elizabeth, by the way." Tacking that on, she shut up for the moment, hoping that they'd receive her kindly.

Mary didn't say anything, at least Cass didn't seem to want to start any sort of drama relating to that sort of thing at the wedding. She didn't really know what was going through her head to even somewhat mention it right now. However, she was open to talking about it, but bringing it up at a wedding? That just made you seem like a self-centered person of all things, and sure, Mary knew that Cass wasn't that bad of a person. Actually, she had somewhat gotten over the whole situation a while ago, since that group she had joined did do some good, it just did not reflect well on her to ask about that.

Black Widow was drinking a beer and she raised the glass up at Cass. "I'm fine, Cassandra."

Hawkeye gave Cass a friendly smiled. He missed the Secret Warriors, but his current assignment worked a lot better for the family. He wanted to be there for his kids and wife. "Good, you, Reed?" he asked.

Lance looked at Annie and shook his head at her, "Uh... I don't dance, like, at all Annie... No offense, it's just not something that I do... Especially if I can avoid it. Nope once a wallflower always a wallflower, just ask Guin, I never liked dancing despite the several times she's tried to get me to play different dancing video games." he responded to her, then another thought came to his mind. "Also typically you don't want to start dancing before the bride and groom, who are currently talking with other people..." He glanced over at the group of kids from high school that Elizabeth had gone over towards. Of course, they really were mainly Guin's friends, but there was one person he did actually know and got along well with. "Looks like Elizabeth is talking to the one person I actually recognize from that group of kids from high school..."

Over in that area, Peter Parker looked over at Elizabeth when she spoke to him. "Oh, hey there! I'm Peter," he said, giving her a smile, before glancing at the others. "They are having a bit of an argument and a fan girl moment over the big name superheroes who are here... I personally still think Spider-Man is the coolest superhero and all, he takes care of the neighborhood that we grew up in, in Queens in New York City, so that makes him alright in my book... So, are you enjoying yourself?" he asked her.

"Wanda became a member of the Avengers' West Coast team under the direction of Ant Man and the Wasp," Vision explained.

"It's community service," Wanda said with an eye roll. "But saving the world is... different from trying to destroy it."

Thor chuckled for a moment. "I pooped yesterday eve last, I am afraid, so I shall not be the thane of these cards."

Mira just shook her head slightly, "It wouldn't be me going first," she said softly, taking an empty seat at the table and looking around at the others as everyone else seemingly spoke up. "...So it seems like it might be you going first Allison..." she added with a slight shrug, not really too sure what all to say regarding this entire conversation. It definitely was a strange one in her mind, and not typically one you would really hear at a wedding.

Tony glanced up at Guin when she came over and he gave her a smile. "Hey there Penguin, how are you doing?" he said with a smile, before he gave her a hug. "Are you enjoying yourself at the least? Cause I would hate for you not to be enjoying your own wedding..."

"Well she did just excuse us from a very awkward conversation that seemed about to turn into drama," Pietro commented.

"Was it drama caused by you?" Tony asked, raising an eyebrow at the speedster. "Cause do you remember our conversation before the wedding Pietro?"

Pietro's already pale face somehow went paler, and he shook his head, "Nope, I did not cause it, and yup I do remember that conversation and I seriously doubt I'd forget it so no worries there."

Guin Stark

Location: the Reception
Skills: N/A
"Yeah, I'm enjoying myself," Guin told her father with a smile. It was nice to see her family and friends here, even if it wasn't the usual party setting Guin preferred. She was more of a video games and Jell-O shots kind of girl than dancing and champagne, but she was enjoying herself and having fun. The X-Men were assembled and the world wasn't burning, that was at least something to be grateful for. "Not a huge fan of wearing a dress, but eh," she added, shrugging. "So... What did you threaten to do to Pietro? Since it clearly sounds like you've been terrifying him, Dad."

"Eh, it wasn't that bad, just namely regarding if he hurts you in anyway I'll kill him, nothing too bad. There might have been a few other things thrown in there too," Tony responded with a bit of a shrug.

"So... Can we not talk about your dad threatening me Guina?" Pietro asked.

Guin was a bit surprised that her father hadn't gone for a more creative threat - maybe he was finally getting soft with regard to Pietro. "Sure, what else do you want to talk about then, babe?" she asked him with a smirk.

"Anything else preferably. I don't know."

Over on the stage, Dazzler struck up a new song. "I think that's our cue for the dance? Please don't spin me like a top, I really don't wanna feel like I'm on a tilt-a-whirl," she joked. Pietro had spun her a little too fast during some of their practice dances, though she figured it had been from nerves. "Unless you're still busy inhaling food?"

"Now why would I spin you too fast?" he responded to her, chuckling slightly as he took her hand and led her over to the dance floor area with a smile.

"Umm, because you're Speedy McSpeedFace, the fastest man alive?" Guin teased.

"Wow so nice to me Guina!"

She giggled, kissing him on the cheek. "I am being nice, I just said you're the fastest man alive - so are you going to lead this dance or what?"

"Of course I'm going to lead, I'm waaaaay better than you are Guina at dancing and you know it," he said, before he started leading her around, dancing to the music with her.

"Ugh, as if," Guin replied, rolling her eyes as they danced along to Dazzler's rendition of Uptown Girl by Billy Joel.

Neil Spellman

Neil rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I think you've got me beat too," he told Allison. He had woken up around four in the morning to go use the restroom - he only knew the time since he had brought his phone in there with him and played some Hogwarts Mystery while he sat on the toilet. It was something that had strangely became normal - bringing a phone for entertainment while relieving oneself.

He dealt out the cards to everyone - Thor, Allison, Sara, Mira, and himself. No one else had come over to play, but this was plenty enough people for a good game. He set two stacks of cards for drawing from, and then another stack of black cards right in the middle. "Erm, Thor? Would you mind?" he asked, nodding at the hammer. "It's a bit in the way and... Well, I don't think any of us could lift it." From what he had heard, only Thor could wield the hammer. Neil had been raised by Satanic witches more or less - he doubted that sort of dark energy in his past wouldn't prevent him from lifting the hammer.

"But um, so since Allison is the first card czar, she judges who wins this round. The black card is..." Neil paused, picking a black card up from the draw pile and placing it face up in front of Allison. "Bitches be ___. So, um, everyone then picks a card from their hand to complete that phrase and you give the card you like best face down to Allison. Once everyone gives her their cards, she reads them all to everyone and then says who wins."

Neil glanced through the cards in his own hand, a tiny smirk appearing on his face as he picked out his white card and slid it over to Allison - Putting an entire peanut butter and jelly sandwich into the VCR. His hand didn't have a lot of great cards, but at least that one was mildly funny.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills:

Antoinette’s smile remained and she nodded to Lance’s no to dancing with the pair of them. She looked around to see if Guin and Peitro were dancing yet but they were just heading onto the dance floor. ”Seems like they are just about to have their first dance,” she noted. She released Carolina’s hand so that she could go to the edge of the dance floor and watch the newly married couple dance. She held her hands in front of her and smiled as she watched them dance and speak quietly to each other.
This had to be her favourite part of the wedding so far and there had been so many wonderful parts so far. As she watched them dance, her eyes wandered to the various groups of people and how everyone mingled with those they knew. It seemed to be a bit of a reunion for a lot of famous mutants. Antoinette returned her attention to the dance couple and wiggled her fingers along to the beat of the older song.

Iris Rivers

Location: The Reception
Skills: People-Reading

Iris' lips jutted out into a pout as she watched the dark-haired girl blush and walk away. Her dancing slowed slightly, but never stopping completely. It wasn't hard for her to tell that Bethany had no intention of actually doing as Iris had suggested. "She's not gonna ask the question, is she?" she said to no one in particular. She took a small sip from her beer, before lifting her head up, smile back on her lips, as she began to dance faster once again, following a decent distance behind Bethany. "Whelp, if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself." With that, she dance-sauntered her way towards Bethany and the happy couple. Once she got there, she stopped next to Bethany, her eyes on Wanda and Vision.

"Hellooooooo, my lovely collections of space dust!" she said, raising her bottle in greeting. A big, all-too genuine smile was on her face, as she brought the bottle to her lips. "Iris Rivers, I'm with the X-Men. I don't think we've met," she stated, giving a small, clumsy curtsy, before turning slightly to face Wanda, a look of recognition in her eyes. "You're the witch lady, right? You know, my mom's actually a pagan! And I guess I'm sort of a pagan? I think some of the celebrations and philosophies are cool, but, I dunno, I'm not really into joining any religion. I mean, no one else will ever think exactly like me, so what's the point in throwing myself into a same-minded mob, y'know? Though I guess there are all sorts of different types of paganism, and you can sort of make it your own. At least, that's what my mom always said. But really, any religion is what you make it. Maybe I should get more into religion? Oh, you should come to the X-Mansion to celebrate Yule with me next December! I don't think the others would be into it...actually, Neil might. Beth, remind me to ask Neil if he celebrates Yule." Iris' words came out fast an excited, always up for discussing aspects of her life with her mother. But as she stopped talking, she raised a finger to her chin, turning her eyes to look at Bethany. "I came over here for a reason. Bethany, why did I come over here?"

Cassandra Reed

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

"I'm doing pretty well thanks." Cass said giving both Hawkeye and Blackwidow a friendly smile before sitting down at the table with them, it was actually really nice to see Hawkeye again. "So, hows the new assignment going anyway?" She asked turning towards him, all she knew was that he wanted to spend more time with his family, which was completely understandable working for SHIELD was always really dangerous as well. "The team does miss you by the way." She said.

Cassandra turned her attention towards the dance floor seeing both Guin and Pietro starting their first dance together which reminded her a little bit of her and Matt a little bit. They hadn't been dating to long and started to make her wonder what their future would look like. She watched her sister for a moment seeing her talking with Lance, and her best friend Annie from what she remembered her mentioning and seeing her in the House of M reality that Wanda had made.

Carolina Reed

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

Carolina looked towards Lance and nodded towards him a little bit, she could understand dancing really wasn't for everyone at all really. "That's totally understandable." Carolina said, she wasn't much of a dancer herself, though she did have fun whenever she did dance in her free time. Carolina looked toward her sister and waved at her and Cass smiled and returned the wave as she watched her talking to both Hawkeye and Blackwidow. Annie made her way towards the edge of the dance floor, she watched Guin and Pietro a little bit longer when Lance spoke up again pointing out who Elizabeth was talking to.

"So, whos Elizabeth talking to anyway?" Carolina asked Lance looking over at him for a moment, she assumed that they were his high school friends though she didn't know them since she had never gone to their school in the first place either. She could see some of the others as they were getting ready to play some sort of card game though Carolina couldn't see what it actually was though.

Bethany Bell

Location: - The Reception
Skills: N/A

"I didn't know that there was a West Coast Avengers team." Bethany said, she was curious since she knew that all of the Avengers were here right now. She looked over her shoulder as Iris came dancing on over towards her, rolling her eyes a little bit and groaning a little bit in annoyance. Beth wasn't sure what to think of the girl really as Iris started to go on a little bit of a weird rant over religion and whatnot. Though Bethany didn't think it was a really smart idea about talking about that sort of stuff at a wedding and in front of Wanda of all people as well.

Bethany's face turned a little bit red again when Iris asked her why she came over here in the first place, she certainly WAS never going to ask that. "I don't know, what were you going to ask?" Bethany asked feigning innocence, and turned towards Vision and Wanda, rubbing the bridge of her nose slightly. "I'm really sorry about her, she doesn't really have much of a filter I don't think." Bethany said sarcastically at Iris, in her own opinion it really wasn't a smart idea to essentially antagonize the former villain either.

Allison Andrews and Sara Grey

Location: The Reception
Skills: N/A

Allison was mildly embarrassed she just admitted the last time she pooped, but it could be worse. Everyone had admitted it to some form. She sat at the table as Neil set the game up, drawing the first black card. [i]Bitches be...[/b] She kind of wished she could play this round rather than judge, she had some decent cards. She looked over her companions for the game, eager to see what they would play. Her sense of humor wasn't well known, but she enjoyed something dark.

Not as much as Sara did though as she scoured her cards. There was one she particularly liked but wanted to save since it was so perfect. Mutants with actual medical conditions and no powers. It fit here, but she didn't know if Allison would appreciate the humor. Barbie seemed like she might enjoy something else. Instead, Sara opted for Natural Selection. It was kind of funny, she figured Allison would get it and enjoy it. She took the card and set it down.

Allison wondered if Thor would get the humor on some of these cards. He tended to be literal, though his time in the Avengers did get him acquainted with life here and not on Asgard. She stared at the hammer, the thing that Thor seemed to be transfixed to before. Maybe this would get him to open up more and enjoy himself? He did a stellar job officiating the wedding. Allison also wondered how Guin was doing. She would check on her friend later.

Sara, after playing her card, reached over and squeezed Neil's hands. She was proud of him and how open he was being. This wasn't D&D, this was human interaction on a pretty intense level. This game showed you how people thought, what they thought was funny, and what they might be uncomfortable with. No one threw their cards away in a huff, so it seemed people were, more or less, inclined to continue plying despite how dirty and raunchy this game could get. Thor especially. She was chomping at the bit wondering what he would play.

Elizabeth Flame

Location: The Reception
Skills: N/A

Elizabeth smiled at Peter, he seemed nice, and she felt a bit of a surreal moment. Was she technically a superhero now? That was an odd thought, wondering if people would, at some point know her name, and have her as their favorite. She wasn't totally sure how she felt about that. However, she quickly continued to answer his question, "I'm doing pretty good, I've never been at a wedding before, but this is great." She smiled, and then said, "Spiderman's pretty cool, but I gotta go Iron Man." He had to be her favorite, he gave her a kickass new arm, after all.

Hesitating for a moment, she decided to continue to say, "He actually, um." Her mouth felt dry, wanting to back out of her sentence, but finding it too late to do so. She didn't want to address her own amputee status, but she was already all in, and her voice quieted a bit, "He gave me this." And she held her arm out, showing it off shyly. "That makes Mr. Stark pretty cool in my book, you know?" Clearing her throat, she said, "But um, what about you? How're you enjoying yourself?" She shifted topics a bit abruptly, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and shame at showing that off. She didn't mean to make this all about her.

"Well I am a better dancer. Honestly you'd think no one ever taught you about ballroom dancing," he said with a small laugh to Guin. It was a well-known fact that Pietro had a bit of an odd skill set, and somethings were just beyond random. Like who in their right mind would actually keep up somewhat with ballroom dance training? Most people wouldn't, but he managed to remember that sort of thing somehow. The song wound down after a little while, and soon it was over. "So Guina... What do you want to do now?" he asked her with a smile.

Lance glanced over at Carolina when she asked who Elizabeth was talking to. "Oh, that's Peter Parker, one of the few kids back in high school who was actually nice to me. He's alright and a pretty cool guy overall," he responded, though he and Guin at one point were partially convinced at least that Parker was Spider-Man, namely since whenever Spider-Man showed up at a place that Peter was at, he'd mysteriously disappear without explanation. Though he wasn't going to mention that one to the two of them.

"Yeah, Stark is pretty cool. That's awesome that he built you something like that," Peter responded with a slight smile to Elizabeth. "Yeah, this is pretty cool party, and I'm glad Guin seems to be pretty happy. Though if you saw her in high school her being in any sort of long term relationship seemed really weeeeeeird. But eh, sometimes people will surprise you."

"Nice try, classified," Hawkeye said, winking at Cass. "The kids are happy - the wife is beyond happy. And yes, I definitely miss Abercrombie and Flynn screaming at each other. So many good memories."

"This game is strange but... I think I may have you all best!" Thor bragged, playing his card - a really cool hat.

"I mean... Allison is the one who gets to decide that sort of thing," Mira said softly, before she glanced through her own cards to try and find something to play. She couldn't figure out what card would fit best in this situation, so she just went with the card that would just be somewhat funny since it was somewhat random - A Bop It.

Wanda blinked for a moment, her eyes shifting a dark red as energy swirled in her hands. A second later though, it stopped. "I'm the Scarlet Witch. And I'm not actually pagan, I'm Jewish. I don't celebrate Yule."

"And I celebrate neither," the Vision interjected, smiling kindly at Iris. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I am the Vision. I must inform you that you have a 58% chance of drinking yourself unconscious at tonight's events if you continue to consume alcohol."

Wanda shook her head. "No one knows there's a West Coast Avengers team," she complained.

Wanda stiffened, recognizing the two newcomers to the party. "Sranje," she cursed under her breath, before running over to her brother and breaking him away from his bride. "Otac je ovdje."

Pietro was a bit surprised that Wanda rushed over to them and pulled him off to the side somewhat to talk to him. It was a bit sudden, but even though Guin wouldn't be able to hear what Wanda had said to him, she would be able to see his already pale complexion go even paler. "Da li ste sigurni?"

"Da, naravno da sam siguran!" Wanda snapped.

"Dobro, shvatam... Izvini što sumnjam u tebe. Samo sam se nadao da grešite..."
