Kayla

Lyss' tone was laced with venom, biting and cold and to the point as she had always been. Thankfully, she had done a great deal of the talking, which was a good thing, because she seemed to stick to explaining the basics of exactly how the supernatural worked. A topic that Kayla herself still had a good deal to learn about despite her competence with her own abilities. Furthermore it allowed Kayla to dissect and diagnose what kind of person they were dealing with.

Blake was a pretty easy to read person. He was the type who was used to getting what they wanted and fuck whatever or whoever it took to get there. His questions were telling, relating to power and what it took to gain that power without necessarily recognizing the implications or risks of doing so. He was a vain man, and unable to recognize that folly at this time, especially now that he was angry due to the compounded nature of his wife. Phillis was drunk, and awakened now too, apparently. Lasers of sort splintered off her body in odd offshoots and refractions of light. Kayla supposed that if heat bothered her, the spindles of the woman's ability might have burnt or even made her uncomfortable.

But he wanted her out, and Kayla was not intending on throwing a man off the roof of his own building today.

"I'M REDACTING THE OFFER! ALL OF YOU, GET OUT OF HERE!"

"Retracting." Kayla corrected, speaking low and quietly to herself and maybe Lyss. Things hadnt become violent yet and she intended to beat it before they did. Emily seemed ready to kill Izzy and Maya, but Kayla cleared her throat. Her silence having broken once again. "Izzy, Maya, Emily," she said, her tone dangerous as she spoke the last name. "Will you three please make the others aware that we'll be leaving shortly?" Because now is not the time for infighting.

She snapped her head back to Blake and Phillis, who seemed just as much at odds with one another as he did with her Coven. "Mr. Schmidt," she said, maintaining her icy tone. "I suspect you will be seeing more and more of us in the future. I hope that when we meet again, we will both be able to overlook and transgressions of this afternoon. If you change your mind in searching for supernatural enforcers or a trainer for your..." She nodded her head to Phillis "New supernatural body guard's abilities, that you will look me up."

Kayla stood, set her untouched drink down on the arm of the table, and waited for Lyss to be prepared to adjourn. Kayla was intent on guarding her rear. There was no telling if the man would lash out further, and if he did, Kayla would much rather be the one to take a bullet than any of her girls.

Izzy was startled as Emily yanked her away from the conversation and started chewing her out. Well apparently Phillis had noticed. Damn it Maya. Maybe it was her own mistake for trusting Maya to be distracting. Izzy only half listened to Emily’s rant, partially because the vodka she downed was hitting hard and partially because she was used to this kind of thing. Emily being explosively angry at someone was a daily thing. However, her ears perked up at the idea of finding Phillis. Time for step two of her rich sugar couple plan.

”Sure,” Izzy shrugged, flashing a grin to Emily. Girls being angry at Izzy for sleeping with their significant other was a common occurrence. It was a shame that most people flipped shit rather than offering a threesome. Something about ‘Commitment’ and ‘Trust’ with all these relationships. It was difficult for her to grasp.

Unfortunately, step two of Izzy’s plan was soon thrown out the window as soon as Phillis came back followed by Maya. Both were disheveled to a degree that Izzy was intimately familiar with. Whoops. Looks like Maya got to the punch before Izzy.

"Since you seem to love all these little whores!"
Phillis

The red head winked as Phillis shot a glare at her. Things were rolling downhill quickly, but that wouldn’t stop Izzy from trying until the very end. If she played her cards right there was always the option for hate sex. That always added a fun flavor to the bedroom. And… oop, Phillis has powers now. Nothing particularly interesting, but still the irony of Blake’s wife becoming awakened was not lost on her. Izzy had to cover her mouth to hide her silent laughter, instead acting like she was shocked.

Blake then got pissed. So pissed he crushed the wine glass in his hand and started bleeding. Yikes. But to be fair, he kinda had it coming. Everyone knew he was fucking his secretaries.

"I'M REDACTING THE OFFER! ALL OF YOU, GET OUT OF HERE!"
Blake

Fuck.

FUCK.

Well, this will be difficult to recover from.

“Are you sure you don’t want Izzy to heal you first?”
Maya

While Maya was most definitely throwing her under the bus, but Izzy just sighed. ”I mean, to be fair to me. I was hoping for a hot threesome.” She pouted, crossing her arms. ”But it sounds like you guys have some things to work out. Let me know if you ever want to take me up on that offer.” Izzy threw a peace sign and wink before turning and rapidly walking away from the situation. Mostly to avoid Emily who looked like she was about to throw her off the building.

Vashti dropped her shoulders and pouted as Taylor called her out. She was about to protest and say that she really didn’t mean to snap at Claudette, but it wouldn’t do her any good. The silent treatment from Claudette told her that no apologies would be taken anyway. She felt like she was going to be sick. She moved quickly as Herik got the door and dropped down to the eighth floor. Vashti turned back to the group and gave them a miserable smile.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be quick,” she said and jogged towards the stairwell. The door slammed shut behind her and she hesitated before deciding to head towards the lobby. The receptionist would help her, whereas interrupting the Coven’s meeting to tell them that she’d managed to fuck up her fast task would not. Actually, technically, she had succeeded in babysitting duty. She had taken care of Madison. Just, Vashti figured trapping her in the elevator wasn’t what Kayla had in mind. Still, it was something positive to hold on to, a light that burned away the worrisome thoughts of what the others would say about her once everything was settled.

Maybe if she was fast they’d be more merciful. She ran down the stairs, cutting the last third off of each flight by jumping to the landing. By the time Vashti hit the ground floor she was panting. Vashti didn’t waste a second and wiped the sweat from her forehead as she bursted through the door to the lobby. Her shoes echoed across the lobby as she bolted past some goth girl waiting for a lift that’d never arrive and skidded to a stop at the receptionist, just barely catching herself from slamming right into the desk. The receptionist looked visibly startled as Vashti fought to catch her breath, holding her chest with one hand and hanging up a finger as if to say one moment to the receptionist. She sucked up one big breath of air.

“Help the elevator has no power, people are stuck, oh my god, I’m never running again, I don’t know, do something,” said Vashti, releasing the words with her breath so they were all hurriedly strung together.

The receptionist gave Vashti a look, and then lifted up the phone to call maintenance. Vashti, having done her heroic deed for the day, let herself collapse against the desk as if she were Pheidippides running from Marathon and sunk to the marble floor of the lobby. The receptionist peered over the desk and, with her hand over the phone’s receiver, said, “They just had to flip a breaker. Also, you can’t sit there.”

Vashti groaned, got up, and made way over to one of the lobby's couches. Hopefully that call had actually fixed the elevator. It had taken, what, only a couple of minutes? That was pretty good. She mentally patted herself on the back. Claudette would have to forgive her then. The small, satisfied smile on Vashti's face soured. Claudette had broken the elevator, she better thank Vashti for fixing her mess.

Herik was used to fights in the group, even the harshest of things said didn't faze him like they used to, but he didn't expect something like that from Vashti. She seems so sweet. He knows she is. Hot elevator and Madison being difficult set her off. Claudette didn't deserve that and he knows it hurt her. At least Vashti apologized. It was rare anyone in the group did other than himself and Nina. It was unfortunate they didn't have more displays of remorse within the group. She wasn't easily forgiven, but maybe with time all will be well. Hopefully it didn't create a conflict they couldn't afford to have in the elevator.

“Sorry. This is my fault. Herik, if you can actually get that door open I’ll go.”
-Vashti

"Of course." He gripped his fingers between the doors, then pushed it open. The automatic mechanism that kept the door closed when it moved fought against him. It triggered the fail safe that only allowed the door to open the tiniest bit. No one other than Vashti and Taylor could fit. He didn't break a sweat holding it open. If anything it was the weather more than anything else. Vashti slid down to the eight floor. Once she cleared it and her feet touched the floor and she moved away from the door he let it go. The heat wasn't unbearable anymore. Claudette cooled them down. Fantastic.

"So, what are we doing with Madison once we're out of here?" He looked down at their inebriated friend. She wasn't moved or said a word in awhile. She didn't look unconscious. More drunk dazed when the drowsiness took over. Maybe she'd sleep it off, so they could send her home. The elevator lights came on, then moved again. It worked! He owes Vashti a hug once they get to the first floor. The elevator stopped, air conditioning hit them once the doors opened tot he lobby with Sin standing in front of it.

"Hello, Sin. The rest are upstairs. We're trying to take care of Madison. She had too many drinks." He easily lifted her off the floor, his arm under her legs and the other around her shoulders. He moved around Sin and set Madison down on the lobby couch across from Vashti, then he did just as he promised himself and lifted her off the couch, arms tight when he hugged her.

"Thank you! You're a life saver. How about I treat you to dinner, yes?" He asked jovially and set her down.

"I missed it all... Okay."

——————————————————
Emperor Hotel - Lobby

Quinn was just on her phone when a girl bolted passed her, she was definitely caught by surprise since it made her turn back to see who it was, no one she knew but she looked like she had just ran a marathon. She shook her head and turned back in front of her to see the only male member of the Coven: Herik. She looked at him up and down, he was holding Madison who seemed to be unconscious? No- From the smell, she was absolutely hammered. "Wow... I missed the fun, remind me to not be late next time." She said before Herik walked passed her. It took a few seconds for to process and she was still stood there, looking at the members inside the elevator. "What the..." She then turned right around to follow Herik since he was the least likely one to yell at her and call her stupid when it comes to these things.

"Hey! Henry- No wait fuck- Herik!" She called out as she jogged over to him, "Would you mind uh... Filling me with what happened?" she said, scratching the back of her head as she kept glancing over to the others in the elevator everytime she had the chance. "This was apparently the part where shit went down- I uh... Had a work thing." She said, rubbing her elbows as she let out a shrug.

That same girl who bolted passed her was actually the one he was talking to and Sin kinda just "Hi, I'm Sin, the best summoner in the world." She said already trying to make a good impression, she was definitely bragging but of course she really saw herself as the best summoner in the world, "So uh... You're one us yeah?" She asked.

She needed more friends, especially since she is not sure who hates her or not.

Lyss raised an eyebrow as Blake took some time to think. "I want all of the power in the world!" She could hear him thinking. The answer he gave her was different, of course. Lyss smirked lightly. Red lux? How dull. The idea of being Blake's dirty workers didn't sound appealing, but then she thought of the briefcase full of cash. She wasn't one to pass up a load of money to work for some scumbag again. Plus, the Coven wouldn't put up with Blake pushing them around.

She was just about to reconfirm their arranged contract write-up, but then she followed Blake's gaze towards his disarranged wife. Are you fucking kidding me? He'll really think we're sluts, now. Her disdain was evident across her face. It was the greatest expression of emotion she'd shown the entire meeting. Lyss uncrossed her legs. Things were about to get way too dramatic, and she was prepared to walk away before Blake awakened from his rage. Maybe you'll get your red lux after all.

She watched the exchange between Schmidty and his wife and knew immediately that it was time to go when his wife displayed her new abilities. She was like a walking rave. Lyss sighed and downed the whiskey in her glass. It's warmth filled her stomach and fueled her exit strategy. Down the stairs, out the back, and straight to the getaway bike.

"And it gave you powers?"

Lyss's frowned deepened. She's a human being, scumbag. She stood the moment Blake started shaking. It looked like the vein in his forehead was about to burst. The glass of wine he so smugly drank from shattered within his hand and Lyss grimaced. She didn't even flinch when Blake unleashed his anger upon them all. It was disappointing that the deal was off, but Lyss was glad that she wouldn't have to work for such a mess of a man.

"Retracting."

Lyss smirked and shot Kayla a knowing glance. She turned away from the steaming millionaire and stepped over to the fallen briefcase on the ground. Holding it in her hand she considered taking it as a reparation to their broken deal, but she knew better than to take an angry man's money. She held the handle with both hands as she turned to face the Schmidts again. At least Kayla was trying to regain some respect with her implied apology. Lyss doubted that Schmidty would want to see them again for a while. As pleasing as it sounded to never see this prick again, Lyss had an inkling that she should keep an eye on him from afar. He knew enough now to get what he wanted on his own.

When Kayla had finished speaking, Lyss made her way over to stand at the bar near Blake. She set the briefcase down between herself and Schmidt. "I would say it has been a pleasure to meet you, but I've been cursed to never tell a lie." She said before smiling. "Have a good evening, Mr. Schmidt."

Without bothering to see his reaction, Lyss grabbed her sunglasses from the bar and put them on before making her way towards the exit. She stopped by the door and looked back to make sure that the rest of the gang were following. She wasn't leaving anyone up here. Even Kayla. Blake was one order away from siccing security on them. The last thing she needed was to be thrown out of the building by some sweaty men.

"Oh, my fucking God, Maya, shut the fuck up!" Emily had grabbed a hand full of hair and damn near yanked it out. Not only did Maya fuck everything over, but she was bragging. Big whoop, Phillis Awakened from the sheer disappointment. Nobody gave a shit that Maya was a professional at slutting. Especially when it fucked them up. If this affected her job, then Emily was going to tear Maya's spine out through her ass. She couldn't help but relent when their maganimious leader gave her a command and Emily figured what she really meant. She sighed as she figured that now wasn't the time. Emily merely pulled out her phone and went to the Snapchat group and sent out a simple message (because like hell she was letting them have her number):

The deal went south and if you're still in the building get the fuck out.

Everything after that was on them, Emily would fucking jump off this building if she could survive it.

At the moment Blake was too blinded by his rage to honestly pay too much thought to the Coven. Still, he couldn't help but listen to the pretty Asian dime. All probably in a vain attempt to brown nose and salvage the situation that is beyond all salvaging. Still... "We'll bang, okay," Blake said to her. Their little leader started mocking him, and if he didn't already destroy the first wine glass he'd probably be destroying it now. Every word just enraged him further.

"I don't ever want to see any of you ever again, and if you knew what was good for you, you would focus less on talking and more on leaving," Blake returned, his word were sharp as knives, as he narrowed his eyes. Lyss had some comments of her own to make. Blah. Like Blake cares whether or not some harlot doesn't like him. There's a million more where she came from. And better looking. "Kiss my ass," Blake said to her.

As they left Phillis waved to Maya, saying, "... Call me."

Emily just shook her head as she took off down the stairs fast as she could. Like hell was she jeopardizing her job for this shit. Oh well. It was good while it lasted... and not even Emily could stay that angry for that long. Babylon disappeared as the rest of the Coven made their way to the bottom and she found comfort in her moped. Emily was certain that they were heading back to the home base. If not its not like Emily has the weekend to herself...

"So, what are we doing with Madison once we're out of here?"
Herik

"I will take Madison home," Claudette calmly said as Vashti left. There was a part of Claudette that wanted to make a snide comment about her leaving but she was worried that Coven's toxicity was starting to get to her. Well, better than their stupidity as a group. Claudette sighed as she looked down at Madison and realized how embarrassing this all had been for Claudette. Still, like Taylor, she was unable to take what she said to heart. She shook her head...

"Yeah, she had a bit too much to drink, sugar," Taylor said to Claudette. "At like Five o'clock, too." She chuckled. Still, she wondered how the negotiations were going upstairs, not that Taylor had much of a dog in that fight. Heh. Being in cahoots with a millionaire was interesting but Taylor wondered if he was looking for sugar bab-

The elevator came back to life and started moving again. "... Would you look at that." Taylor chuckled as she realized that Vashti did it. Not that it wasn't in doubt, she just seemed more than a little stirred by Madison. Hopefully, Taylor (and Vashti) will get a better impression of the chick, sober. The door opened and they caught sight of some tryhard chick. She looked like she was apart of their little Coven and Herik greeting her and engaging in conversation proved it. Not that Taylor cared since she was more interested in Vashti. She shrugged.

Maybe she wanted her, Taylor couldn't blame her for that.

Claudette sighed as Herik effortlessly picked Madison up and carried her over to the chair. Which was great because carrying Madison was a lot on her back. Still, he was talking to Vashti, and Claudette was still a bit sore about the insults. Still... "Thank you," Claudette said to Vashti before ignoring her existence. She was still polite, after all. Before their conversation went on, Claudette's phone buzzed and she looked at it...

The deal went south and if you're still in the building get the fuck out.

"Oh, dear..." Claudette forgot about the deal and now it went wrong? She didn't expect this, but to be honest, it wasn't all that unwelcomed. She, especially, didn't like the idea of working with Blake in the first place. This brought up a whole new host of concerns... Blake seemed enthusiastic about the deal, what broke the deal down? She hoped that they didn't do anything outstandingly stupid and made more problems for the Coven. With the FBI on their ass, they had enough problems.

"Ooooh boy," Taylor hissed as she looked at her phone before she looked at Claudette. Her thoughts were more or less the same as hers, but a bit more disappointed they fucked it up. No biggie. They had other opportunities... Still, it was time to make haste and get lost because knowing a rich fuck like Blake he probably called the cops. "Let's go." Taylor was quick to get up and run... because like hell she was going to jail for a bunch of thots she just meant.

"I'll take Madison home, Herik, get her to her car," Claudette said as she hoisted Madison to the car with the help of Herik as the rest of the Coven cut and run.

After the meeting gone wrong, so very wrong, the Coven went back to their lair, Fantasy Land. And did the usual.

Pissed around.

"... So what you're saying is you banged her so good that she awakened from it?" Taylor incredulously asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked at Maya in disbelief. Just not buying a word that came out of her mouth. "Sounds like bullshit, sugar." She shrugged.

"It is possible, I did it before," Babylon said, chuckling. "Except she did it with less screaming. And blood." She found herself chuckling again. Good times. Still, everyone looked a little gloom. Or at least her host did.

Emily was sitting with her briefcase at her side, wishing that she could handcuff it to herself. She sighed as she looked at the group bragging about their slutting. And it was sickening. Did Maya realize that there was a bit more at stake here than just getting off? Emily shook her head. It was annoying, and even more annoying that one brain cell having cancer cell probably didn't care. Not one bit. Emily narrowed her eyes at her wondering if Maya wanted to be a slut and have Babylon use her curse on her. Yet she knew that doing so would spell the end of the Coven. Part of her wanted to say something... but she kept her mouth shut.

"And I wouldn't worry too much about that whole deal nonsense..." Babylon trailed off, "I could tell it was going to go nowhere good... well, it went somewhere good for Maya but us? No."

Babylon shrugged.

"Blake will probably cross the wrong Apparition and get cursed and he'll be running straight to us begging us to help him find a cure," Babylon deviously chuckled. "Watch."

Emily shook her head as she could barely care. She just looked at Kayla as she just flatly asked, "... Is there anything else on the agenda for today?"

"How about we go to a strip club to blow off steam?" Taylor sarcastically said, "I want to get as drunk as Madison was."

It was nice to be back in their shitty lair, lounging in a chair riding off the high of what had happened and well away from the angry, rich asshole. If Maya was honest that was absolutely not what she’d planned to do. She’d just gone along to mess things up a little, wind Emily up and listen to the bullshit deal that Blake offered. It wasn’t her fault that Phillis was insanely attractive and her tiny amount of flirting had worked.

She wasn’t exactly going to turn down that, deal be damned. It was a stupid deal anyway.

"... So what you're saying is you banged her so good that she awakened from it? Sounds like bullshit, sugar."
Taylor

“That’s exactly what happened,” Maya smirked, sipping on a can of pepsi she’d picked up from a convenience store on the way back to Fantasy land as if it was some kind of fancy drink. “I know it’s hard to believe when you weren’t there but… we went and slept together, and she came back awakened so there’s no other explanation.”

She then raised an eyebrow at what Babylon said, but nodded. “See, it’s happened before. But there was no blood and only a certain kind of screaming, if you get what I mean.” Maya winked.

She knew she was being absolutely insufferable but if she was honest, she didn’t care. It had so long since she’d gotten laid and it had both been with fucking Blake Schmidt’s wife and she’d awakened. Ok so maybe it had been an asshole move to fuck up the deal that Babylon rightly pointed out was going nowhere and it wasn’t in the spirit of teamplay (something Maya was pretending to get better at). But it wasn’t like she’d planned to mess it up. It had just happened.

But she also really didn’t care.

"How about we go to a strip club to blow off steam? I want to get as drunk as Madison was."
Taylor

She’d completely zoned out of the conversation, but the mention of drinking had her right back to paying attention.

“That sounds like a great idea,” Maya commented even though she knew Taylor was saying it sarcastically. “Unless we have anything else to do why shouldn’t we have a bit of fun together? After all, part of the reason we’re all together is companionship… right?”

And it sounded like a hell of a lot more fun than hanging around Fantasy Land or, even worse, going home to spend her Friday evening alone. Still, she could understand if people weren’t too fussed about the idea. Maybe she’d offer an incentive even if it meant kinda admitting fault. But anything to not have to deal with boredom.

“Since the deal not working out was mostly my fault, if we do go somewhere, drinks are on me.”

"Would you mind uh... Filling me with what happened?"
- Quinn

"Of course. Emily's boss Mr Schmidt wanted to meet with us about something magic related, I think. I didn't stick around beyond that, but the man gave me bad vibes. Almost like Babylon, but not as bad. I don't trust him." His phone buzzed in his pocket. It wasn't the hospital or his job. His ringtone would've gone off, so that meant it was an app and probably wasn't important. Claudette's reaction tipped off it was Coven related and not good. He pulled out his phone and opened up snapchat.

"The deal went south and if you're still in the building get the fuck out." He read aloud for Vashti and Sin. This is the second best news all day, second to the new members and the best outcome he could hope for. Now they weren't in danger with a dangerous man and could perhaps move onto bonding. Bonding is always good. Claudette requested his help with Madison, so he helped her get her to the car

~.~

They met back at Fantasy Land. It's been decades since the park closed down. He remembered going as a child. He was maybe five last time he came. He and his mother hadn't gotten the chance to experience any fun when they first moved to Florida and it was cheaper than Disney World. No less fun for them. It closed down a few months after, so they hadn't gotten a chance to go back. To think this the new meeting place. A lot changed that's for sure. He didn't stay too long in his thoughts. Chompy didn't let him. It ran at him and nearly took him down, but Herik's reflexes were quick and he held the gentle beast under its front legs.

"Hello my scaly friend. You look well and did you gain weight? You're a litte heavier than last time." He didn't flinch from the scratches left by claws on his arms and chest. He'll take care of it later. A little bleeding wouldn't kill him. He set the gator down, rubbed under his chin, then sat around the table for the explanation of what went down. He couldn't have guessed it was because of Maya and Izzy. Kayla turning it down, yes, but sexual misconduct with the boss's wife was wild. He's not happy they bare partial responsibility for ending a marriage and causing someone emotional damage, but it still led to the offer being taken off the table. Best ending in his book.

"Instead of drinking to bond, how about we go for dinner? It's late, I'm sure we're all hungry and it's better than coming to the meeting with a hangover tomorrow."

Vashti perked up as she heard the ding of the elevator. She tilted her head, saw Madison being carried by Herik, dropped back against the couch with a thump, and stuck her lip out. Some girls had all of the luck. Vashti realized then that Madison was passed out and chided herself. It was stupid to get jealous of a drunk girl. Still, her self-awareness did nothing to cure her envy. Today was turning out to be a horrible day. She looked like an idiot at the meetup, acted like a total asshole to girls higher up in the pecking order, and now was being a total sourpuss for an utterly benign reason. She wished she could blame her behavior on the Leviathan, but even before it her emotions ran rampant. Vashti sighed and massaged the bridge of her nose. What a headache this was all be—

A cry of surprise escaped her throat as she was effortlessly lifted up out of her slump like a ragdoll and constricted between a massive pair of arms. Momentarily panic switched over to even more panic as Vashti realized Herik was hugging her. Words tried to form on her lips as her feet dangled uselessly off of the ground, but the only thing that came out was excited gibberish. Before she still fully comprehended the greatness of the moment she was in it was over as Herik gently set her back down on the couch.

"Thank you!” Ohmigod. “You're a lifesaver.”Ohmigod ohmigod. “How about I treat you to dinner, yes?" Ohmigodohmigodohmigod. Vashti felt her face flush as her eyes darted around the room. This was a prank. Revenge for her shit behavior. No, wait, he was serious? Really? Buy her dinner? Buying dinner was big. Buying dinner was really big. It was practically date territory. Wait, was it one? Holy shit. She needed to breathe. She needed to change outfits. She needed to not have a creepy alligator hybrid body. Most importantly, she needed to say something, because right now she was just staring at Herik in disbelief. She hopped up to her feet.

“D-dinner? Yes! Yeah! Awesome! That’d be great! Totally! I’m in!” How many ways could she give him an affirmative? Vashti never would know, because the goth waiting for the elevator came over.

"Hi, I'm Sin, the best summoner in the world." Vashti gave her a horrified look. The only sin here was that this girl had managed to summon up a total vibe killer by interrupting the chemistry that was clearly sparking between Vashti and Herik. "So uh... You're one us yeah?"

“Geez, I still hope so,” said Vashti. Wait, did the girl just assume she was in the Coven? Did that mean she walked up to everyone introducing herself as a summoner? Vasthi shook her head, wiped the ugly look from her face, and smiled. She didn’t need to butt heads with anymore of the Coven. “I’m Vashti, the best elevator repair-girl in the world.”

Meanwhile, the other girls were rushing around and Herik had checked his phone. Something had gone wrong. Before Vashti could even consolidate plans with Herik, she was whisked away into a different car.

Vashti might’ve been sullen on the way to the Coven’s lair, but nobody could ever be sad in Fantasy Land! Or so said the broken sign covered with dying spanish moss. It was an odd concept for a theme park. Most bragged about being the happiest place on Earth. Fantasy Land was content with just not being depressing and, unlike when it was open, it actually succeeded. There was a haunted house that probably had an actual murder in it, the unearthed dinosaur bones of rollercoaster tracks that were quickly degrading looming off in the distance, and a pet alligator too. Vashti couldn’t help but wonder if Chompy was someone who just had it worse than her.

The Coven was having a wrap-up meeting sans Claudette and Madison, which was fortunate for Vashti. The further removed from the incident the less likely that it would be brought up. Vashti sat on the trunk of a rogue bumper car that was hundreds of yards from its home. She had a look on her face that was somewhere between shocked and intrigued as Maya dished the dirty details to Taylor. Surely, Maya was joking about screwing Blake Schmidt’s wife. Dude didn’t accept the deal so I fucked his wife. It was mimicking business trash talk. Fake machismo, purely ironic. There was literally no way it had actually happened, just like there was literally no way they were actually going to go to a strip club. Right?

"Instead of drinking to bond, how about we go for dinner?” suggested Herik.

Vashti reeled back as if she’d been hit by a bullet and barely kept herself from sliding off of her bumper car. We. He had said we should get dinner. As in, we all should get dinner. Fucking A. She plopped down onto the dilapidated cushion in the cab of her makeshift seat and propped her head up with her hand. Whatever. She was still hungry, and the alternative plan sounded like the perfect way to make a bad day even worse. Besides, maybe the rest wouldn’t want to go. The thought of that made Vashti perk up.

“I’m in. Pretty sure I heard you say that it was gonna be your treat, too,” said Vashti, then she winked. “Just kidding.”

Even if the others came along it’d be fine. She just hoped that she and Herik would have a moment alone. Vashti had made up her mind. He was the one she was going to tell about the Leviathan.

Lyss took her exit at a much more casual pace than the rest. She was silent as she descended the stairs. The meeting had gone much differently than she'd planned. She thought over every question Blake had asked them, and thought of every answer she'd given to him. Yes, she'd revealed a few certain details that could have been left out, but in the game of business one had to woo the buyer a little. It was working, until Blake erupted because of his wife's tussle with Maya. The only action she'd taken that she actually regretted was removing her shades. Her identity was a secret, and she didn't like the idea that Blake's security cameras would have her face on recording. Yet, there was nothing she could do about that now. She could only hope that he'd want to forget everything about the meeting.

Ten minutes later, Lyss was pulling into the abandoned Fantasy Land. She parked right at their usual spot among the labyrinth of rollercoasters and remained on her speedster instead of standing. She leaned forwards, resting her elbows on the handlebars. As she listened to the girls, she couldn't help but frown at their comments. Is the whole meeting just a joke to them now?

Lyss's plans were to just go home and do research on their new acquaintance, but Maya's offer to pay for their drinks was enough to change her mind. Herik suggested dinner and Lyss wasn't against that either. Her eyes moved over the rest of the Coven to see who would agree to what, but then she caught sight of the briefcase in Emily's hands.

"How about Emily treats us to dinner and drinks? She can't keep all of that cash to herself, now can she?" Her voice was overall friendly, but had a bitter undertone to it. She nodded towards the briefcase in her hands. "It would only put a little dent into your savings."

"Bet I could make you Awaken four times, sugar," Taylor said, chuckling at Maya's claims. Which still sounded like bullshit. If Maya said Phillis or whoever the fuck was so disappointed that she Awakened then maybe Taylor would believe it. From her perspective, it sounded like she said or did something dumb and make up this lie. It probably would be better if she just owned up to it (and it in this context sounded like sexually harassing Phillis). She blew a strand of hair out of the way of her face, before she said, "No offense but I'll believe it when I hear it from her."

Then Maya actually entertained the idea of a strip club. To which Taylor had to flatly say, "I was joking, sugar." Not that Taylor was against the idea of going to a strip club. She figured that not all these little witches were ready for that kind of degeneracy. Or were, going off of what Maya just claimed. The big guy, Herik, suggested going out to dinner, and Taylor shrugged.

"Sure thing, sugar," She started, "Just don't go somewhere too crazy. Unless you wanna watch me dine and dash."

"How about Emily treats us to dinner and drinks? She can't keep all of that cash to herself, now can she? It would only put a little dent into your savings."
Lyss

Emily craned her neck in the direction of Lyss... this time making eye contact with her that would most likely give Lyss a spook. She stared at her, the eye only twitching slightly as she was silent. Maybe she got the point Emily was getting across. Maybe not, but she was going to get it because if Lyss was anything like the rest of the Coven; she was dumb as shit.

"... This money isn't for me," Emily stated, her tone was flat and her volume was pretty low. "None of it was. It was to help someone else. Which you never considered for a second - I bet none of you did."

Emily started, while she was strangely quiet and calm, one could probably infer the emotion that she was feeling. "Given that you're all laughing and playing it off as some kind of joke and bragging about it." Her gaze sharply went towards Maya for a second - making eye contact with her before looking off into the distance.

"But let me stop here - I would love some dinner, Herik," Emily said to Herik, awfully polite.

Was she being hypocritical? Maybe, but if they didn't care, neither did she anymore. They were probably going to ignore her and continue doing whatever it is that they're doing. When it goes wrong, then Emily was going to be there. Not saying a word. Maybe some fancy dinner would get her mind off things, yeah. The last place she wanted to go was a dirty strip club.

“If you don’t believe me, you don’t believe me,” Maya just shrugged at Taylor. She was pretty sure when Phillis had said to call her it was more like a booty call kinda thing than to prove a point and boost Maya’s ego. Also, not on the same day. She wasn’t going to turn around and backtrack from what she’d said either… which was entirely the truth.

"I was joking, sugar."
Taylor

Her lips turned downwards at that, away from a relaxed smirk and much closer to her normal resting bitch face. Of course she’d known that Taylor was joking… but it was actually a good idea, to her. Dinner sounded like a fucking bore.

“I’d much rather go to a strip club,” she muttered, folding her arms and leaning back where she was sitting. She could understand why everyone else would be reluctant but it didn’t mean she was happy about it. She tilted her head slightly as Emily talked, highkey creeped out by how different she was being to normal. Sure she hadn’t considered it… but why would she when Emily was always being a bitch? She shook her head. Whatever. It was her choice to try so hard to do something for someone else, which just seemed ridiculous to Maya.

"Given that you're all laughing and playing it off as some kind of joke and bragging about it."
Emily

Maya bit her lip to resist making a snide retort - there was something just not fun about kicking someone that was already down (or seemed it). Also, for once she didn’t want to go even further down in everyone’s estimations. Instead she just met Emily’s gaze with a narrowed one of her own, eyebrow raised.

Yeah, this was fucking weird. She almost preferred the normal Emily. Almost.

“I’ll pass on dinner,” Maya put her hands up in a half shrug. “If anyone’s up for drinks or going somewhere actually fun, I’d much rather that.”

Otherwise, she’d probably just go home. She’d never enjoyed sitting in stuffy restaurants forced to just talk to people… they already did it enough. And she couldn’t just lose it in a place like that. Well she could, but it was generally better not to. Either way it just didn’t appeal. She’d much rather go to a place were she could drink and make dumb decisions with alcohol as an excuse.

If nobody else wanted to that was their loss - she could just go alone, anyway.

"Tell me something new."

——————————————————
Emperor Hotel - Lobby

Sin did realise sooner than later that she was being a third wheel between Herik and that new girl: Vashti. And she could definitely tell that this new girl was annoyed at her when she went up and asked Herik. "Nice to meet ya', Hey if I forget your name... My bad. I ain't good with names." Sin did not have anything to prove right now, and since Herik is nice and this other girl also seems nice she did not want to overstay her welcome. "Well, looks like you guys are done here, I'll catch you two later." She said before waving goodbye, but everyone went the same direction since there was only one exit that was convenient.

They left and Sin was just stood in the sidewalk rubbing her right shoulder as she began going through her phone to call Rosa. She then clicked on the call button before putting it up to her ear, it was ringing which was a good sign, Rosa did not entirely hate her. "Hey Red, I know it's only been like 2 minutes-... Few blocks? Okay. See ya' then." She said before hanging up, she kinda just stood there for a little bit until the same SUV pulled up with the driver's seat window down. "You called quicker than anticipated." Sin Shrugged and smiled "Eh, change of plans, I'll tell you on the way there." Rosa just nodded before a click was heard, she unlocked the doors and Sin got in the back seat. "So where to?" She asked, Sin looked down at her phone to see where this meeting spot was, she was not exactly there but it would appear it was- "Fantasy land." Rosa chuckled and stepped on the gas, "That old place? Place is run down like crazy, you sure?" Sin looked her dead in the eye from the rear view mirror and Rosa immediately turned to the road, "Alright sheesh."

No more questions about Fantasy Land although there were questions about outfit choices.
——————————————————
Fantasy Land

Sin was on her phone the whole time when they were discussing, she had no say since she was not even at the place when it mattered, but she is here now and that is what matters right? Her eyes would jump to whoever was speaking when someone new spoke, just listening to whoever spoke since she really did not know what to say. They then started talking about going out as a group and Sin wanted to do something since she something deep inside her felt like she owed something since she missed everything. Her eyes then moved to Maya who did not want to part of a seemingly boring dinner.

"Actually, strip club sounds better than dinner." Said Sin, "Then again, who am I to say right?" She said with a smug shrug. "Unless this dinner has something special that we all don't know about." She continued, "I'm out till it's better than just dinner." Said Sin before stepping away from the main circle of members, though only standing a few feet away so she could pull out a cigarette. She lit one and started smoking right then and there, huffing and puffing smoke left and right.

Good grief.

Some of these sluts were entertaining the idea of going to a dirty strip club. Well, like attracts like, and whores attract whores. Emily rolled her eyes, but still, she couldn't afford the effort of really getting up and arms about it. There was a simple solution to this. One they were too stupid to even entertain. Emily craned her head around towards Quinn and shook her head at the chick.

"... How about you lot go to the strip club," Emily just shrugged as she said. "And we go to dinner? Or what you want to do. I don't care."

"Sounds good, sugar..." Taylor had no freaking clue what this girl's name was. She was more than certain she was going to find out later, but she wasn't going to be boring and go to dinner. They'd all stick out like a sore thumb and Taylor was the french fries and tenders girl. Not the steak min... something. Taylor shrugged. "I'm in."

Emily sighed, "How about we go to Ocean Prime? It's nice." And you people could use some class. Emily thought to herself.

"Sugar, if we go to Ocean Prime we're gonna dine and dash," Taylor blew a strand of hair out of the way of her face. To be honesty they couldn't afford a better place than this. Like a library. "Just go to Red Lobster."

She shrugged.

"Either way," Emily said as she got up with the briefcase. "... I'm going to go home and get changed. Meet you all where ever." She sighed as she walked off.

Taylor shrugged, "Give me a name and place and I'll be there."

There was a slight problem with Claudette's plan. Just a small one. She drove Madison's truck all the way home but when she got home, well... Madison was still passed out. And Claudette knew that she wasn't strong enough to carry her all the way there. Given that she was probably twice her body weight! Claudette got out of the car and went to the backseat of Madison's explorer. Good grief, today was rough. The only idea that Claudette had was waking up Madison, but she wondered what was the lesser evil here... Sure she was unconscious but that meant she wasn't talking, and waking her up meant that she had to deal with drunken antics.

Then again its Florida and Madison will instantly die if she leaves her in the car.

Claudette opened the door and placed her hand on Madison's shoulder and gave her a good hard shake. "Madam..." Claudette trailed off as she shook her a little harder. She was honestly hoping that Madison didn't die or go into some kind of coma, she was still breathing, however. After giving her a hard shake she started moving and Claudette sighed in relief as Madison got up...

... And immediately vomited off the side of the vehicle.

Wiping her mouth with her arm Madison shook her head, "Blehhh...." She groaned as she felt like she just ate rotten chicken. Or ass. She wasn't sure which was worse. Her head was spinning as somebody jammed her in the face with a brick. "The fuck? Like seriously, the fuck?" Madison slurred and confirmed that she hadn't slept off the alcohol.

Claudette merely walked around and offered Madison a hand with an affirming smile, "Come, let's get you something to eat."

Madison was eating some chicken and rice, sitting on the sofa with Claudette at her side. The social worker was explaining the whole deal with Blake... and how it fell through almost immediately. Shocker. What was really... embarrassing was Claudette reading back everything that she did. And it was not pretty. It was shitty actually. And Madison had to make sure that she apologized to everyone there.

"... Shit," Madison sighed as she rested a hand on the side of her head out of embarrassment. "... I need to find her and apologize." She slurred, she was still a little woozy. The food was helping.

Claudette doubted that Vashti would take her apology but who knows? Claudette just met the woman not too long ago. "We can save that for tomorrow, you need to get some rest."

"What I need to do is get ready for work," Madison was quick to answer. "My shift starts in a little bit..."

"You should call out-"

"... And miss out on big money?" Madison said as she narrowed her eyes at Claudette. "Sorry, but I got bills to pay, sis." It sucked being dismissive of Claudette, but it sucked more being put out of their house. It's not like the Coven will come to their aid... because she was more than certain a good chunk of them didn't even have jobs and still were dependant on their parent's money.

After finishing up her meal Madison went into her room and... actually, after taking a sniff she realized that she smelled terrible. She wasn't sure if it was the vomit, alcohol, or something else, but Madison took off all of her clothes as she just skipped to the shower. Well, it was only her and Claudette and they were both girls so...

... After her shower, Madison put on jeans, a t-shirt, and had on sandals... and then she walked to her room and grabbed the backpack that had her "outfit" in it. It was a pretty large black military-style backpack that was large enough for her to stuff all of her stuff into and more. As she walked into the living room she noticed that Claudette was asleep... which she thought was weird but Madison didn't have time to dissect the scene. Madison shrugged... she reached into her backpack and pulled out a protein bar or two and ate it. When she got drunk at the club she ate a protein bar or two and got all better...

As she got in her car she sped off towards Veni Vedi Veni.

Those whores, those sluts, those bitches!

They ruined a perfect deal and Blake was absolutely seething as he stormed his way back into his office... because Phillis kicked him out of the house and now he's stuck here. And he would rather be here than their fabulous beach house because at least this is where his brain juices start flowing. Blake sighed as she sat down in his chair with his elbows on his desk and his fingers together. He closed his eyes as he thought hard. The door open but he didn't even react until he was addressed with a simple:

"... Are you okay, sir?" He opened his eyes as he saw Jenna Lyons, the pretty little thing in front of him didn't even instantly induce arousal. Not like she usually does. "You seem a little tense, how did the meeting go?"

"They had sex with my wife."

"... What?"

"They had sex with my wife, Jenna!" Blake shouted as he pushed himself up with his hands in a dramatic display. "Even after I gave them a deal they couldn't refuse!"

"Well..." Jenna looked off to the side as she held a clipboard to her chest with both hands. "That's... rough."

"How do you think I feel getting cucked by women half my age?" Blake asked as he sat back down. "They've got a rude awakening coming!"

"Well, sir, how about..." Jenna awkwardly trailed off as she listened to her boss ramble... and she was certain he went off the deep end.

"Yes...?"

"... You let it go because I strongly believe this will go nowhere good."

"Nonsense!" Blake said, "I've already made plans with a certain vampire Coven..."

The door was thrown open again and Makoto Koda walked in... along with three members of the Greenwood Coven that Blake had tracked down. While he was having a meeting with the... regular Coven(?) he had his secretaries find the Vampire Coven and after the deal went south, Blake did the backup plan. The first person to walk in was a , the one after that was yet another shirtless man with shaggy hair, jorts, boots, and a cigarette in his mouth, and the last person to walk in was this abomination against God.

"How are you all doing?" Blake asked as he barely even made eye contact with them. "I see you have eschewed shirts. How...." Trashy.

"Good, good..." The first one to walk in said, as he pointed to himself, "I'm Frederick, he's James, and he's Jordan. We heard you were looking for some magic powers." He grabbed onto his belt with both hands as he nodded at Makoto.

"Sorry about ruining your theatrics, boss," Makoto chuckled. "But my shift ends in like ten minutes."

Blake shrugged as he too was tired of playing games and wanted to get to the point. "... To the point, I like that," He started, "So, what are you offering..."

"I'm offering this!" Frederick said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a music box and showed it to Blake. "It has an apparition or something in it called the Outsider! Or something!"

And that name clicked in Blake's head... it was an Apparition that the little lady Alyssa (Or Apissa) mentioned. One that was powerful. Dangerous... and probably the key that Blake needed to get revenge against the Coven for fucking his wife. He grinned.

"... And how did you find this? I thought they locked it up in a vault or something."

"Oh, that's easy!" Frederick said with a smile on his face. "I was robbing this old lady's house while naked-"

"Okay, why were you naked?" Jenna asked.

"Because I got high, like super high," Frederick proudly said as Jenna's eyes started twitching. "But I was going through her house and all that looking for stuff to steal, then I touched this and it started talking to me and shit and I realized: Aw damn! It's the Outsider!"

"Mind if I touch it?" Blake said as Frederick brought it over and offered it to Blake with both hands. Without a second thought, Blake reached over and put his hand on it. He was half-expecting it to be nothing.

"No."

"Give me two million dollars."

"I'll give you a hundred thousand dollars, and you'll have the opportunity to do some work for me," Blake said as he snapped his fingers and Makoto handed the briefcase to them... and it was not a hundred thousand dollars (it was hundreds on top and monopoly money on the bottom) but he was certain they couldn't count. They exchanged goods and Blake looked at it with a grin.

"Boss," Jenna looked at him as he stared at the weird thing. "I think this is a terrible idea. We should just give that back to where ever they got it and-"

And Blake ignored her as he tossed the music box on the ground hard as he could and it broke into a thousand pieces. And out came a greyish-blue smoke that eventually formed a a blue-skinned woman with black hair wearing a kimono. The Outsider smiled widely as she said,

Blake grinned as he looked at the vampires.

"... I'm certain we can arrange something."

The bass was bouncing and so were the asses.

The club reeked of cheap perfume and fish, but Taylor barely even cared because this was the only place that would let them in without paying a fee. If they came before nine there was no entry fee, which was nice. Taylor was sitting in one of the seats... watching some Hispanic chick with a fat ass work the pole... Taylor almost found herself mesmerized by it, still, she was missing something. Some fucking booze. The thing was they wouldn't let her drink because technically she was still nineteen. Taylor shook her head.

If only she told them that she was two people combined and they should combine their ages. Good grief. The woes of being some kinda freakshow... Taylor shook her head yet again as she went out to look for her fellow strip club mates. And Taylor had to say; it was pretty lit here. They were probably kicking themselves in the ass eating shitty food that some disgruntled wage slave pissed on. Eventually, Taylor found Maya and she smiled as she put a hand on her shoulder.

"... Hey wassup, sugar!" Taylor had to shout over the sounds of asscheeks clapping. "I bet the rest of the girls are just kickin' themselves right now! But, know what would make this night much better? Getting me some booze!"

She chuckled.

"Do any of ya' got the power to turn invisible or anything?!"

Fucking Red Lobster.

They told her that they were going somewhere even better than Ocean Prime. Emily knew that she should have examined the address they gave her! She got off the moped looking like a fucking idiot wearing a fancy white dress that showed lots of cleavage and high heels. Having her hair up into a bun and everything. Still... she wasn't going to chicken out yet. Emily's rage subsided from earlier... and it was replaced with a new type of disgust and revulsion towards the Coven. Mainly Izzy and Maya - because it was their fault everything fell through. If Izzy didn't imitate fellatio on Blake's finger, Phillis wouldn't have gotten pissed off. And if Maya didn't do whatever gross lesbian shit with her wife, well... they would be eating at Ocean Prime.

Either way, there were some things that Emily needed to discuss with the Coven. That was urgent. However, Emily was hoping that Izzy and Maya were off shaking their ass in a strip club and the adult members of the Coven were here. Heh. To be fair, they wouldn't be that out of place in a strip club. Emily chuckled as she walked inside and was promptly referred to the table where the Coven was.

"Oh why hellooooo there, friends?" Emily snidely said with a smile on her face. "So this is your idea of fine dining? Interesting."

To be fair, they probably thought Dairy Queen was the epitome of cuisine.

"Well, I think we have some things we need to discuss... is everyone here?"

Maya went straight home once they’d decided where to go, both to get changed and knock back some cheaper alcohol before heading to the club. The place wasn’t exactly classy but it was free entrance which meant more money for alcohol. Not to mention that the atmosphere of the place was buzzing. The first thing she did when she got in was head straight to the bar, ordering two drinks and leaning against it as she waited for them. She was dressed pretty different from normal, in a black tube top and shorts along with an iridescent, see through jacket (which she’d spent far too much on years ago) and platform boots that added at least three inches to her height. Far from her normal light coloured fashion but much better for the club. And she felt pretty good, either way.

She downed one of the drinks as soon as she got it before making her way past people to find somewhere with a good view. And damn, was it a good view as she found her gaze torn between the different girls working there. Definitely better than some stuffy ass dinner. Damn she was already enjoying herself and the night had barely started.

"... Hey wassup, sugar! I bet the rest of the girls are just kickin' themselves right now! But, know what would make this night much better? Getting me some booze!"
Taylor

“Heyyyyy,” Maya drawled as she easily smiled at Taylor, accent more noticeable even though she was hardly tipsy. She straight up slung an arm around Taylor’s shoulder. Just a little bit of alcohol in her and she was immediately more tactile, and personal boundaries weren’t even a thing that crossed her mind. “Of course they are, they chose a fucking meal over this.” She rolled her eyes.

“Here, take this,” she held out the second drink she’d bought, which she’d only taken a sip out of. She honestly couldn’t say what it was - she’d ordered whatever had the highest percentage. “I’ve hardly touched it. I don’t know about turning invisible but it won’t be hard for me to buy you drinks. Just gotta make sure nobody notices. I wasn’t joking about the drinks being on me.”

Considering the lack of workers that weren’t dancing around poles, it wouldn’t be hard at all to do it unnoticed. Maya had drunk plenty in clubs when underage too.

Then she grinned. “How about I buy us a round of shots to get this night going?”

After the unfortunate demise of the Coven's deal with Blake Schmidt, Lyss's stomach was still warm from the top notch whiskey. The group was splitting up. One to go to dinner, and one to go to a club for drinks. As much as Lyss worried that the girls going to the club would cause a scene if they were to drink, she had a feeling that going to dinner with the others would be a bore. If she was going to do anything with her free time, she would rather drink than sit and share pity stories. Her eyes followed Emily as she left Fantasy Land with the briefcase in tow, but she didn't feel like asking Emily what or who the money was really for. Lyss was just worried that Schmidt would want his money back. She already owed too much money to someone else. Why put her name on someone else's bounty list?

So, Lyss made sure to tell Maya that she would see them at the club before she made her way home. At her apartment, she ate some leftover chinese from the day before and dressed for the club. It had been a long while since she'd been to a club. In Miami, she used to frequent rooftop bars and the finest clubs in the city. It wasn't like she didn't have the clothes for it, but it was difficult to guess how a club in Tampa would look like. What was too much and what was too little? She tried on a few outfits before deciding on a body suit and black leather pants. On her feet she wore black heels to finish off the look without being uncomfortable. She even put on some smokey eyeshadow, eyeliner, and finished the look with her favorite dark red lipstick. She pulled her long, straight hair up into a sleek high ponytail and felt satisfied with herself.

When it was time to meet the girls, Lyss downed a few shots of whiskey to make her stomach warm again before calling the uber. She arrived at the club to see a small line outside. "I am not waiting in this." She muttered before she walked right up to the bouncer, flashed her prettiest smile, flirted a bit, and was immediately let inside. Inside it was thumping. She had to admit that the clubs in Tampa had some taste, but the smell of sex was in the air and it made Lyss uncomfortably thirsty.

She headed straight for the bar to quench it with another shot of whiskey before asking for a glass. She'd just turned around to look for her Coven girls when she heard Taylor's voice.

"Hey, wassup, sugar!"

Lyss smirked and headed towards the girls.

"If you want some drinks, I can distract the bartender." She said as she walked up, her red lips grinning. "Let's drink, dance, and give these girls the cash they deserve!" She looked towards the closest stripper, and while she wasn't interested in the dancing girls in any sexual way, she loved to see other women embracing their bodies. She pulled a ten from her wallet and made sure that the woman got it before turning back to Maya and Taylor. "Who else is here?"

“I’ve hardly touched it. I don’t know about turning invisible but it won’t be hard for me to buy you drinks. Just gotta make sure nobody notices. I wasn’t joking about the drinks being on me.”
Maya

"Thanks, Sugar!" Taylor said with a smug grin as she grabbed it and took a sip without a second thought. It looked like coke but she tasted something strong. It was cheeky as fuck; it was coke but it had vodka in it. Taylor was such an alcoholic that she could tell. Still, Taylor knew that these bars and types didn't fuck around with underaged drinking. If they saw her drinking that could spell the end of their night, but it wasn't like they couldn't haul ass to the next place. Not that the bartenders were paying attention to them; they were surrounded by so many sweaty, horny, alcoholics that they were going back and forth.

"I doubt they're gonna notice," Taylor shrugged. "And if they do, we can always cut n' run."

"Let's drink, dance, and give these girls the cash they deserve! Who else is here?"

"Hell yeah!" Though, Taylor was trying to leave out a snide comment. The girls deserved something for being so brave as to shake their asses on stage, but she could see herself up there. Heh. Taylor shrugged yet again because she hardly knew any of these girls. So she didn't have a clue who was with them and who wasn't. She just shrugged. "I think the other two chicks are 'round here somewhere!" Taylor took a sip of her booze and felt the alcohol content hit her.

However, the DJ's booming voice interrupted their conversation:

"Coming up on the stage is Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiberty!"

And who walked on the stage elicited a raised eyebrow and a smirk from Taylor.

"... And her."

[

At least she was already drunk.

Madison sat down on the stool staring at her reflection while trying to arrange her earrings properly - She shook her head as she just gave up. Well, Madison knew that, at the very least, with this outfit on they wouldn't pay attention to her ears. She felt like shit right now, a headache, nausea and she took every alcohol remedy known to man to avoid throwing up. It wasn't the first time nor was it going to be the last time she did this, however she had to make it through the night. Madison stared at herself in the mirror.

... I don't even know who I'm looking at.

Madison sighed as she looked down and tears were about to fall down her face.

"Hey, Muchacha!" Madison heard the heavily accented voice and turned her head to see her good friend Lupe Riveria. Wearing a see-through red outfit but not as nice as her own. "What's up with you, lately? You've been..."

"What?" Madison questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"... Down," Lupe answered.

"Shit happens, Lupe," Madison answered with a sigh. "... And I've had a lot to drink."

"Sistaaaaa!" Lupe extravagantly said, "You know you get drunk once you get here."

"Can I have some space please?" Madison asked.

"Sure, sure..." Lupe said with a cheeky smile on her face. "... It's just your turn to go on stage."

Shit. Madison thought to herself as she didn't want to go out on stage right now, but she sighed as she got up and walked down that hallway to the stage. "Go, Muchacha! Show 'em what you're made up!" Lupe laughed as Madison ignored her... but didn't notice her laughter suddenly being cut off. The only thing on her mind was the stage... and she walked through the curtains to her adoring crowd. Having a hardened and sultry look on her face as their eyes were all over here... and they didn't bother her in the slightest. Right now she couldn't feel anything other than an intense desire to get this over with.

Just shake her ass on stage for a few songs, make a few cute eyes, and call it good. She walked up to the pole as people already started throwing dollars on the stage, as she grabbed on with both hands and spun around. The people in front of her were merely faceless bodies. Though some looked kinda familiar, her head was not in the right place to care.

However, there was another insidious plot going on in the back of the club... in the basement of the club. Lupe, Madison's friend, was carried through the club with duct tape on her mouth and then thrown on the floor of the basement. She was violently thrashing around, but she was already bound and gagged... and not in a fun way. On the floor, she noticed various glowing symbols and other sigils, and then she looked up at her captors... three rednecks, more or less.

"Shit," Frederick said as he looked at the other two. "The fuck were we supposed to do again?"

"We capture a bunch of these bitches-" The one to his left, James, answered.

... Bitches?! Lupe seethed but she had a hard time doing it through the duct tape on her face. She raised her head.

"-And then we draw all these symbols." James shrugged.

"Should we call Blake again?" Jordan asked.

"And make him think we're stupid or something?" Frederick answered.

"How about we grab some more..." Frederick then started thinking, "Wait why it gotta be strippers?"

"They strippers," James answered, "Ain't no one gonna miss them!"

"No, but why specifically?"

James shrugged.

"The Outsider said, twenty women."

"... Are you sure that's a woman?" James answered. "I've seen some freaky stuff befo-"

That was when Lupe started angrily saying some very mean things but they were muffled underneath her face mask.

Jordan threw a thumb in her direction."... She looks a little pissed off."

"I'll keep watch," James said. "You two just grab some more girls."

They both nodded as they went on.

The DENS finished for the day and decided to get some R&R... And Meifeng found herself heading back to her nifty little hotel room. Like she usually found herself doing these nights, she was in a white bathrobe with nothing else on, lying down on her bed playing on her cellphone. Probably until she fell asleep... she wanted to get out there and find Annabelle but they needed rest. And maybe some relaxation. She was playing a slot machine app on her phone and was just... relaxed as they could get. Her family was probably asleep but given that they're young they're definitely up way later than she is. Meifeng sighed as she was all alone until her phone buzzed.

Maya grinned as Lyss walked up to them - she was also dressed up for the club, and she looked pretty good. It was pretty fucking nice to actually be out with some of the other girls without having to worry about all the serious nonsense. “Yes, let’s make the most of tonight!”

Speaking of drinks, Maya was without one now that she’d given it to Taylor. She’d have to fix that soon. She turned her head to Lyss as she asked who else was there. “Sin said she was coming, and Izzy too? They’ll be somewhere here.” She flung her free arm out to indicate the crowd of horny drunks around them.

Then her jaw dropped as her attention turned to the stage and just who walked out. “It that… Madison?”

Fucking hell, the last thing Maya had expected when going to a strip club was to see one of the coven member’s on stage. And she looked really, really hot in that outfit and with those moves. In a way that made Maya uncomfortable because the last thing she wanted was to look at the other girls that way. But when Madison was up there dancing? It was hard not to.

“I need a drink,” Maya coughed, shaking her head. “Or a few. I’m going to go get shots.”

She turned away without asking what they wanted and quickly pushed her way through the crowd to the bar, glad when she got quickly served. She ordered five of the strongest shots they did and downed two right there and then. Once she’d done this, she headed right back to Lyss and Taylor while precariously holding three shots. She handed one to each girl before holding hers up. “To a good night.”

Maya quickly knocked back her drink and sighed at the pleasant buzz she was feeling for everything she’d drunk. Her gaze quickly found its way back to Madison on stage. She moved closer to Lyss, meaning to just talk to her but ending up completely leaning against her. Being tipsy enough she just went for it and slung an arm around the other girl.

“We totally need to talk to her after this,” she nodded her head towards Madison. “She’s so good… Even if this isn’t what I expected.”

Like, couldn’t tear her gaze away kind of good. And she’d drank enough now to feel a bit less bad about it.

"Now this is my style."

——————————————————
Fantasy Land -> Channel Club Apartments

Now that everyone had decided where everyone was going, Quinn knew where she was headed, she just needed to get changed out of the dirty jumpsuit she was in since she came directly from work. There was barely any reason to stay here and it would appear everyone else was leaving so it was time to get with the program for once in her life. One quick text message to Rosa and she was on her way, did this girl not have anything else to do? No matter, she walked away from the crowd and it would appear she was not the only one doing so and soon that same SUV appeared at the drive way and entrance of a rundown Fantasy Land. The two shared their greetings before Quinn got in. "Back so soon, you must have missed me." Rosa laughed after acting all suave with Quinn, but Quinn just deflected it "Yeah, let's say I did, but you can't resist this face now can you Red?" She let out before they started driving, she gave a quick wink and the two just started joking and laughing on the way to Quinn's apartment.

Upon arrival, Quinn told Rosa that she was going to get changed and she asked Rosa if she wanted to wait for her in the car or follow her upstairs. Rosa, obviously not trying to be rude just asking Quinn, letting her decide. Quinn rolled her eyes and told Rosa to just follow her and wait in the living room while she went to do her business. Red parked the car and they left to go Quinn's apartment. One elevator ride later, they arrived at the apartment and Quinn offered her a drink but Rosa declined, Quinn also now realised how much shorter Rosa is, standing at 5'4". Quinn then told her to wait right there, before she had a quick shower and changed into something simple, gray shirt, black pants, army green bomber jacket, brown suede boots, and a pair of sunglasses that rest on top of her head. She checked her hair in the mirror and played with her hair a little(yes, wink included) before heading out to the club. Before heading out she modelled a little bit for Rosa, doing a quick turnaround and asked "Classic eh?" Rosa snorted and laughed, "Yeah, you look like you're the leader of the jocks in highschool." Quinn laughed before she took Rosa by the arm and dragged her out of the apartment; Quinn did not want Rosa to start questioning the feathers and her living choices.

As soon as they got back in the car, Quinn nonchalantly just said, "You know Veni Vedi Veni?" which surprised Rosa since she turned around to look at Quinn but she was just on her phone, "Seriously? A strip club?" She asked in a very surprised tone. Quinn nodded before turning to make eye contact with her, "Yes. I'm paying you so it should not be a big deal." Rosa then shook her head before facing forward and driving there.
——————————————————
Veni Vedi Veni

The thud of the door slamming from the SUV echoed as Quinn got out, Quinn brushed her hair back and before she could head in Rosa rolled down the window saying, "Hey, I'm heading home after this, so you're gonna have to call someone else to drive ya' home." Quinn then started pretending to look vulnerable, "Oh no, but what if the driver is a bad man who wants to do bad things to me?" She said sarcastically and in a condescending baby voice. "You can deal with it yourself, you look like someone who can." Quinn laughed before shrugging, "Respect. Alright I'll see you with I see you." And with that they said their goodbyes.

Quinn walked in the club, the music that was mostly bass, the weird smell of sweat and alcohol, and a bunch of horny guys surrounding the main stage; yup this is a strip club alright. The dimmed lights and amount of people made her not see where the others were immediately, but walking a bit more in she spotted people she actually knew, they were not exactly friends yet but at least they were people she knew. "Yo-!" She stopped herself as soon as she realised that some of them were already a little bit hammered. "Wow, I'm late again, next round's on me then." She said, tonight was- is going to be a fun night whether people did not like her or not. "What'd I miss this time?" She asked before ordering some shots for the girls, she ordered two extra for her since she was apparently late again; Quinn needs to fix her concept of time. As soon as the shots arrived, Quinn downed two in seconds before turning to the others. She turned to the stage only to be greeted with Madison working the pole.

Quinn was drunk- nope she was not even tipsy she was not seeing things, Madison is actually working that pole. She cheered for her and downed the third shot which definitely hit her, not enough for a bigger effect though. She turned back to the other girls to see this girl she had never met before (Taylor), "Hey! You're one of us right?" She exclaimed, she grabbed one of the shots and put it right in front of her, "Nice to meet you! Name's Quinn, best in the world, you'll remember my name." With that her attention was drawn to Maya who could not keep her eyes off the one on the pole and to be fair who could not. "Hey lovergirl! This one's on me." She said holding a shot for her to take as she downed another one.
