Yeshua Sands - Terrorkeet

Yeshua neglected a great many things in the frantic escape from the MFF base. Her own morals chief among them, so easily misplaced when her sister was threatened, but second to that was the critical eye an avian would normally value above all else. In that regard, she had left herself blind to Kusanagi's actions, thinking the commander a paper tiger now de-fanged with no one to guard her.

The shock- Literal and figurative- struck Yeshua out of the blue and lost the bird her prize while only just sparing the bird her life. Stricken immobile in her ascent, it was by the grace of inertia and Setsuna's own protective drive that kept Terrorkeat from plummeting back down the hole, instead being dragged clear while an occasional spasm had her limbs jerking outwards and her diaphragm warbled, unable to draw a full breath.

Yet still she could think through the pain, helped in some part by the bite of distraught fangs trying to haul her further away, Yeshua knowing that her giant bulk would make that rather difficult. Useless as she was, the bird could only focus and shrink down to human size, hoping Setsuna would adjust her hold to better make her escape with a twitching, curled up human dangling from her maw.

Utena Soriyu

Their ascent through the ceiling was turbulent to say the least, each jolt and swing sending red hot spikes into her injured leg as Utena held onto Schrodinger for dear life. Things were a bit blurry for her right now, probably the shock from the bullet wound settling in. The screech of a giant cat, electricity screaming through metal, a blur of green flying through the roof before shrinking and falling into Schrodinger's mouth. Did Terrorkeat get hurt somehow? She was hurt too, maybe they could bond in the hospital... NO! No hospitals, not an option! The first thing the MFF would do is send soldiers out to every hospital in the city, they wouldn't even have five minutes of freedom before they were all thrown back in cages. "No hospitals..." Utena mumbled, unsure if Schrodinger even realized she was there as she went towards... somewhere. Maybe they were going to that place Terrorkeat said they could go? Did Schrodinger even know where that place was?

All these questions tumbled about her mind with no answer as she fell into the throes of unconsciousness, blood loss, exhaustion, and shock finally taking their toll on the now fugitive MFF member. When she next awoke she would either be dead, behind bars, or in the hands of whoever was helping the GMGs. Things were not looking good for her in any of those cases, but such was the price of betrayal. Hopefully they'd be gentle... and GMGs.

"I know I'm the one at a disadvantage here but, tell me why do I have to wear such humiliating clothes, again?" Akari asked as she was brought from her cell to a blank, featureless room wearing some rather conspicuous clothes. She didn't even know how much time passed since the raid on Goomie's island, where she was or how she got here. The only thing Akari was sure of is that whoever they were, they must be in league with the girl who kidnapped her.

Well, that and the fact that her "jailor" had one too many loose screws.

※ ※ ※

"Don't worry too much about that," Haruka said with a smile in her lips as she looked at Akari from the door. "It seems like the people running this place wanna send a message to your friends. So, we are going to record a little film and you are gonna be the star. Isn't that amazing? Of course, I couldn't let you wear that suit of yours and prisoner clothes are a no go. Getting clothes for your size is pretty hard so that's the best I could get my hands on right now. It's either that or a swimsuit. Your pick..." Haruka flashed another smile and pointed at Akari's outfit and then to a shopping bag beside her.

"No, thank you. I think I prefer this one after all," Akari answered, shuddering at the thought of changing into an even more humiliating outfit for the entertainment of the sick people running this place. "What do you even have in mind anyway? If you wanna ransom me for money, I'll tell you that ain't gonna work. The MFF doesn't make deals with terrorists," she added, trying to keep a brave front, despite being at her captors' mercy.

Well wasn’t this just perfect. Schrödinger would have cursed by the merit she had two dead weights to drag around if she weren’t still on the run from MFF troops. Terrorkeat had since shrunk down into human size, nestled among her jaws, and judging from Utena’s lack of order giving or noise, she could only assume she was passed out too. That only left the cat to bring the both to safety and she almost considered dropping Utena outright. Wouldn’t the MFF jump at the chance to capture the traitor? At least, Schrödinger thought so.

But she didn’t want to hear the bird squawking in her ear for leaving their little human helper for dead, so she continued onwards instead. Once more Schrödinger activated her ability, turning completely invisible, as well as extending her reach to Terrorkeat and Utena as well. Slowly, cautiously like a predatory cat, she stalked up and through until she breached the opening that led into the lower segments that was this MFF base. Unseen and unheard for the most part, she swiftly exited their prison and made her way into the city.

Only when she was at the bordered edge did she shrink down as well- “Ooof.” -only to immediately regret it as she was left with two girls that were heavier than they looked. “You two owe me,” she grumbled, wondering where the hell she was supposed to go now. Terrorkeat mentioned something about allies in high places, but she wasn’t the one who could fly. She’d either have to wait for the bird to get to her senses or look for herself. Or…

With a sigh, she dragged both human and GMG into a dark corner of an alleyway. Then, slowly, carefully, and just making sure both were unconscious…she purred. It was a low, vibrating, but relatively unheard sound that only other GMGs could pick up, so thin was its wavelength. If they truly had allies, then surely friendly GMGs would pick up on her signal? If not, she could and would always blame it on Terrorkeat or something.

Back in the ruined MFF base, the good doctor was less than pleased with the results. By the time all personnel were accounted for, she was already stalking up to McNair with an unamused look on her face, dusting off her coat. “No need to bring me a status report Commander, I’m aware both the GMG specimens and our turncoat have run rogue and escaped. I want MFF troops in the streets looking for Utena. As for our monster problem, it’s not that hard to find such big girls now is it.”

“I have no idea about that. I’m not the one who calls the shots here. But I doubt whoever runs this place needs money so badly they would be resorting to ransom now,” Haruka answered Akari’s question as she adjusted a headset on herself. “You are lucky, you know? I’m taking care of you the best I can, if it wasn’t for me, you would be wearing a straitjacket or something like this,” she added as she knelt by the red-haired girl and helped her dress.

“I think I’d be safer if I had one,” Akari replied as she pulled away from Haruka, trying to preserve her personal space. “If you aren’t part of their organization why are you even here?”

“You could say I’m a freeloader or something like this. But—” Haruka interrupted herself before she finished speaking. Her head turned away and attention focused elsewhere, almost as if she heard something or someone calling for her.

“I’m sorry, Cutie, I gotta leave now. Be a good girl and I promise to bring a treat when I’m back,” Haruka said as she left Akari at HART’s mercy.

“Hey, where are you going? I couldn’t be that you are one of the GMGs, right?” Akari tried to follow the retreating girl until she found that she was held in place by energy shackles.

※ ※ ※

It didn’t take long for Haruka to make her way out of HART’s mothership and find the source of the distress call. Though she couldn’t say that she was surprised by it, she found it hard to hold her apprehension back when she laid her eyes on them.

“Setsu—What are you two doing here?” Haruka asked as she ran to her friend’s side. “Actually, forget it, we have to get the two of you somewhere safe and treat those wounds before anything else,” she said as she called Tomoko to get them back ASAP. As she did so, she produced a small first aid kit and tried to at least alleviate their suffering.

It was only when she was trying to help Yeshua that Haruka noticed they had another person with them. “Who’s she? Are you guys trying to make prisoners too?” she asked as the rescue ship picked them up and made its way back to the Silencia.

Yeshua Sands - Terrorkeet

Waking up in a hospital would be a novel experience for a GMG, as they would rather avoid exposing themselves to any testing that might possibly expose them, it would have been interesting under better circumstances.

For Yeshua, the metal walls and ceiling of an airship only succeeded in provoking a rush of panic that had her flying out of bed and well on her way to hyper ventilating in a panic that usually preceded sharp feathers raining everywhere. Only the presence of Schrodinger in the bed beside hers curtailed Yeshua outburst, instead morphing it into teary sobs as she flung herself atop the feline GMG, crying out repeatedly, "Setsu!"

Utena Soriyu

It was a slow awakening, as they tend to be. People didn't really awake with a start, not unless it was from a nightmare or they had been poked with something particularly sharp. Utena blinked the sleep out of her eyes and groaned as she tried to move her arm to block the sunlight streaming into her face. Tried being the keyword. The sound of metal on metal rattling accompanied her attempted movement as her arm jerked to a halt, cold metal pressing into her wrist tightly and restricting her. She blinked once, twice more as she tried to move her arm again. Rattle rattle.

This definitely woke her up as she looked over at her arm, firmly handcuffed to the frame of the bed she lay on. It was at this moment she noticed the dull ache of her leg, covered by blankets and definitely surrounded by something firm. She kicked her other leg, thankfully free for the moment, and removed the sheets, revealing her firmly bandaged right leg. Right. Gunshot wound.

Ok, time to get thoughts in order. She was definitely in a hospital, or at least a medical area of some sort. She was handcuffed to prevent movement, both arms too. So she was being detained. However it was unclear who by. There was a more than zero chance that the police had caught them, Terrorkeat and Schrodinger were both back in cages, and Utena was about to be charged for treason and several other fabricated crimes. However there was also the chance that maybe Schrodinger had managed to get Utena and Terrorkeat back to their mysterious GMG benefactors, who had also decided to cuff her and try her for whatever crimes they deigned to charge her with. Hopefully her punishment would be light considering she committed treason to get the GMGs out of captivity, but Utena wouldn't complain. She was fully capable of recognizing how she had been complicit with these things for a long time, so she deserved at least some kind of punishment.

"Hey! Hello!? Anyone in the room!?" Utena called out, rattling her handcuffs to try and get some kind of attention. If she strained her ears than she could hear someone calling out "Setsu" waaaaaaaay on the other side of the room, but that could be anyone.

“What the hell actually took you so long.” Schrödinger, or rather, Setsu as Haruka called her, looked non too pleased with the sorry situation she was in, let alone Haruka’s apparent tardiness. Truth be told, the other GMG had left the SS Silencia in a hurry without much word to HART’s staff or crew. Thus, there was little time between her contacting the ship to the aircraft appearing from the thin sky. As it turned out, Tomoko had followed her after all with perhaps some concern to her well-being.

“Oh this? Yeah don’t worry about it. Just some stray we ended up picking along with us,” Setsu answered, hoisting Utena up briefly to show off her load. “We can dump her off any time when we want.” Of course, she had a feeling that wasn’t going to happen under Haruka’s care. And indeed, by the time Yeshua was rousing herself awake in HART’s medical bay, Utena was following a similar pattern. But for now, Setsu bothered herself with staring at the squawking bird’s rampant reaction before staring more deadpan as she was bombarded by her.

“Are you sure you’re the older one,” she grumbled from being buried by the whining bird. It was very tempting to shove her off or claw into her, but she figured the bird could have her heartworn reunion. For now. “….ok, that’s enough. Get off.” It lasted as long as it could. It was a good thing too because without Yeshua crushing her face with her chest, the feline GMG could hear another occupant in the medical bay. She immediately frowned.

“There's your pet human if you were worried. I wanted to shove her overboard so bad, but Cie-I mean, uh…Haruka. Stupid covert names…Haruka wouldn’t let me,” she grumbled. She flicked her glance away to the opposite side of the room where Utena was calling out for any signs of life at all. “We can hear you human. No need to blast our ears out just because you can’t move,” she called right back. At this point she was just waiting for Haruka or one of the HART personnel to come in and explain what this place even was; or Yeshua, she supposed, since she seemed to be in the know of things.

Akane Yurei

Interaction: @TheWendil@Lonewolf685@KoL@Flood

Hiding behind her own veil of illusion, Akane trailed the fleeing group. Schrödinger's invisibility made it tricky, but being burdened with the unconscious Yeshua and Utena, made her less stealthy than normal. The kitsune slid her mask into place, and it's various sensors helped her keep up with her invisible prey. She followed then until they stopped, then she hunkered down, waiting patiently for the right opportunity. She barely twitched at the high-pitched whistle the catlike GMG let out. That was a signal, she thought triumphantly. Or I'm a rabbit. Sure enough, an airship materialized out of nowhere and landed nearby. This was her chance. She hesitated, recognizing the extent of the risk she was about to take. That moment of indecision nearly cost her, as the trio was quickly bundled aboard. Leaping forward, and transforming into a fox with a burst of power, she abandoned all attempt at stealth and raced across the open ground to the airship, just slipping inside as the door closed.

The red-and white fox leapt up on the nearest empty seat and sat, curling her tail around her paws in a self-satisfied manner. That power, with speed with which she had moved, undoubtable announced her as a fellow GMG, but she said nothing as she regarded everyone inside the craft with haughty nonchalance. It was up to them how they would take the sudden appearance of the Kitsune.

She made no other movements as the aircraft brought them to the HART base, the Silencia.

Yeshua Sands - Terrorkeet

Setsu being the darling sister that she was let Yeshua have her hugs as long as a prickly feline could, the bonds of blood keeping the claws sheathed till Yeshua released the feline from her buxom. Yeshua's eyes shone with un-shed tears, restrained by the happiness of holding the feline close without the bonds of captivity looming over them. The primal rage that had fueled her escape was entirely absent, leaving the warmth of Setsuna's presence and a nagging regret for how barbaric she had treated the humans.

Except one. No thought of her passed through the avian's head without stirring a simmering need for retribution, but it was a revenge best differed as she realized they were still among company. Pulling back the curtain to an infirmary bed beside her, she found Utena had made the journey with them intact. "You didn't leave her behind. Aww, I'm so proud of you, Setsu."

Pulling the feline GMG along with an arm across her shoulder they hovered over Utena's bed, flashing her a bright, chirpy smile to counter Setsuna's perpetual scowl. "Don't worry, human, you're among like minded people. These HART folks all seem real friendly, and you aren't even hand cuffed to the bed so they must see you as the same. My real name is Yeshua, and this is Setsuna. Thanks for getting us out of there. I might have done some things I regretted if they'd tried to touch my baby sis."

"Hey, is that how you greet a friend after so long?" Haruka said as HART's troops took Setsuna and the others into their ship. "Also, yeah, I guess we can't do that right now. Not that I feel pity for that one or something like this. But we have no way of knowing what will happen if we let her go."

The extra passenger following them didn't escape Haruka's perception either. It was only natural that the Diva would have a better hearing than most at the very least. Nevertheless, she chose not to do anything about that for now. She had more pressing matters to take care of at the moment.

Even so, she made a point of telling Tomoko about their stowaway as soon as they were all aboard the ship. She supposed the blonde could deal with that on her own.

※ ※ ※

"Well, sometimes I would like if my own sister were a little sweeter like that," Haruka said as she entered the infirmary, wearing an all-too-conspicuous outfit. "All she does is come and go and barely stops to say hello, even a fish can get sad sometimes, you know?" she added in a melodramatic voice.

"You guys should get some new names of your own. It makes you feel like a spy or something like this," Haruka said after Setsuna complained about her pseudonym. They couldn't do a secret mission if they wore their true identities on their sleeves, could they? "I don't know about that like-minded part. It was hard to convince Tomoko to not throw her into a cell despite her injuries, but I guess having the two of you here was enough to change her mind for now."

"By the way, I wouldn't try anything funny if I were you," she said as she walked to Utena's bed. "Without those toys of yours, you probably can't even break these, but even if you could, it would be better not," Haruka said as she pointed to the restraints keeping Utena pinned to the bed. "You aren't in your best condition now, overexerting yourself will probably be bad for your health."

Utena Soriyu

An unfamiliar voice called to Utena from the other side of the room, most notably calling her "human" rather than something more generic like "lady" or "bitch." Her hopes rose a little, but it wasn't until Terrorkeat pulled back the curtain that she finally let out a sign of relief. They were safe. They being the GMGs of course, she was still very much in danger. "Actually about that..." Utena smiled sheepishly as she rattled around the handcuff holding her right arm to the bed, showing how she was very much being kept as a prisoner. But hey! On the bright side, she finally got to learn these gal's names rather than the codenames she had assigned to them! "Awesome! This means I can finally say, it's a pleasure to meet you two cuties~" Utena winked at Yeshua and Setsuna, pretty much the best she could do considering the restraints. "I'm Utena Soriyu, MFF-" She paused, her smile shrinking a bit before she shook her head. "Former, MFF Captain. All I am now is just another girl I guess!" Utena laughed as she said this, a way to cover up the hurt.

She had really joined the MFF with the best of intentions, everyone did. Everyone wanted to defend their homes, save lives, stop the giant monsters. Utena may have had the added incentive of really liking the GMGs, but she did still wanna do her best for the people too. But now she was just a prisoner of war, a war between the race she betrayed and the giant "monsters". "You don't need to thank me or anything, I was just doing the right thing... Unless you wanna thank me with a date~" Gotta take your shot when you can. A new voice entered the room, grabbing Utena's attention as she did her best to peer around Yeshua at the new GMG. Was everyone here a GMG? Oh that would be heaven~

"No need to worry about me miss. I'm probably wanted all over the city by now, don't really have anywhere to run away to even if I wasn't completely bedridden." She responded with a shrug, before asking another question. "I know it's a bit much to ask considering I'm a prisoner and all, but could I get some water? My mouth feels like it's stuffed with cotton."

“Shut up.” Setsuna had no real choice in the matter of being dragged along by the other greenette. She tried to, of course, digging her heels into the ground, but for the sake of not cutting the ship in half from the opposite pull of motions, she allowed the bird to bring her closer to Utena’s bed. “Oh great, she’s one of the flirty types, with or without water,” was Setsuna’s initial growl as Yeshua and Utena seemed more than happy to talk with each other. Again, since it seemed, no, was outright confirmed they had some point of contact beforehand.

“What the hell is that outfit?” The appearance of Haruka didn’t help matters with Setsuna’s mood, especially when she looked like a cosplaying nurse of all things. “Fitting of a role, huh. That’s not too far from your usual job,” she commented from the other GMG’s looks. “Besides, having a side name is kind of lame. Unless you want to magically come up with ones for me and bird brain here? Then by all means.” Setsuna crossed her arms but jabbed a thumb in Yeshua’s direction. All the same, it didn’t seem like either of the GMGs were entirely hostile towards Utena, and so far, no HART staff had swooped in dragging her out of bed.

Maybe that was because the majority of HART were focused on Akane instead. Naturally with all the commotion going about and the panic of the injured, the fox’s presence had gone unnoticed. That is, until Haruka personally informed Tomoko of their stowaway; even now she was speaking to the foxy GMG. “She’s definitely not like us,” Setsuna mused, regarding the fox as if she was thinking about her now. It was true enough, in more ways than one, but sadly couldn’t be elaborated on when something harsh and blaring filled the medical ward. “Do you people just have that playing 24/7?” Setsuna grumbled, already covering her ears at the loud and shrill wailing.

“Only for rampant GMG attacks,” came her answer. Tomoko entered the medical ward with none other than the foxlike Akane in her arms. She cradled the fox in her arms like any carried pet, and if she was bothered by the loud sounds of alarms, she didn’t show it. That was because her features expressed serious concern in looking over the girls. “Sorry to interrupt the pow wow, but we have an emergency on our hands. Ex-MFF, right? Your name and rank no longer matter around here, but I think you’ll have a chance to redeem yourself very soon,” Tomoko said right to Utena before looking straight into Haruka now.

“It’s your sister. She’s made her move.”

The fox was quiet for the airship ride. She studied each occupant in turn with an unnerving intelligence, as if she was pulling their deepest secrets from the way they wore their clothes. Her silence remained in place as the airship arrived and her former captives, plus one turncoat, were rushed to a medical bay for treatment. She dismissed them for now, and followed the one called Haruka around, like a stray looking for food.

Haruka had lead the kitsune to another, whom Haruka had termed 'Tomoko'. This one took one look at the fox and immediately scooped the GMG up in her arms and insisted on carrying her around.

Which was fine. It was only natural to be pampered, especially when one's fur was as soft and gorgeous as her's.

She listened in on the conversation, biding her time, up until an alarm went off. She bit back a curse. Just what she needed, another attack. Every moment she spent away from her post was dangerous, and her absence would be noted if there was a GMG attack. Yet, she also needed time to integrate herself as a GMG to HART, in hopes of gaining their trust. But it seemed the universe was out to foil her plans.

She sat up from her warm arm nest, and faced Setsuna. You are quite right, my dear. I am different from most. She projected her cheerful voice into the minds off all nearby. She sprang out of Tomoko's arms, her form blurring and changing.

She hit the floor as a young girl with white-hair and golden eyes, clad in a sky blue kimono. A kitsune mask sat on her head, offset to the side. The markings were different from her normal mask as an MFF operative. She smiled warmly at all of them and put a finger to her lips. "You may call me Mako." She said.

Mako

The newly identified GMG pursed her lips in a pout. "Circumstances must make my introduction short, so in the interest of brevity, I'll just say I'm an enemy of the Monster Federation Force, and I hope to find an ally in HART." She passed her eyes across to each of them. "To be more precise, I intend to observe HART's...mmh...capabilities to decide if they, you, are worth supporting. If you have a chance against the might of the MFF, or if you will be ground to dust beneath them, like so many have before."

Yeshua Sands - Terrorkeet

The avian GMG laughed in a stilted fashion, finding herself uncomfortable being propositioned by someone who- by all accounts- she owed both Setsuna and her own freedom to. Not that she was surprised by the interest, but the timing was rather poor, all things considered. Perhaps this was Utena's response to stress? Made as much sense any other response.

Taking the escape when she saw it, Yeshua darted to pick up the bottle of water with it's considerably bendy straw from her own bedside table- No surprise that the chained former-MFF officer wasn't provided one- and held it for Utena to drink while a newcomer carrying a familiar psychic fox walked in alongside a friendly face. "Oh, hey there, Fishcake. Agent Mulder. Umm, new person. Should I just go with Skully?"

The matter of nicknames for strangers was shelved with word of a new GMG attack, leaving the bird to quirk her head, struck by how oddly active everything was all of a sudden. She also recalled quite clearly how her last attempt to help went and found her heart quickening with dread to go out there again. "We wouldn't be so lucky as to have this sister show up faaaaaar away from where the MFF can deploy, would we?"

Utena Soriyu

Utena's smile faded a little as Yeshua laughed awkwardly, was she coming on to her too hard? She had never actually been in this kind of relationship before, flirting was all very new to her. Or maybe it was the fact that she was currently handcuffed to a hospital bed and a prisoner. "Sorry, I think I might still be a little woozy from the whole, gunshot thing." Utena backpedaled smoothly with an embarrassed laugh, leaning forward as much as she could to take the cute little bendy straw between her lips and suck up some water. Oh released the straw with a satisfied sigh as she leaned back into the bed, that already made her feel so much better.

Suddenly a harsh alarm began sounding throughout the ship, Utena reflexively attempting to get out of bed to get suited up only to pull at the handcuffs holding her as they dug into her limbs. "OW OW OW!" She fell back into bed with a loud cry of pain, eyes tearing up as her bullet wound was aggravated once more. Another new girl entered the room, this one carrying a fox, before looking at Utena and declaring she might have a chance to redeem herself. "As much as I'd love to help out with whatever you guys are about to do, I don't think I'm really combat ready..." Utena motioned to her injured leg with her head as she said this, still very much wounded and in the process of healing.

And then the little fox jumped out of Tomoko's arms and turned into another cute girl! Man, if she wasn't literally being held down by chains she'd be giving all these girls so many hugs! "I'd clap for your entrance, but you're gonna have to settle for an appreciative rattle of chains." Rattle rattle.

"What, did you like it?" Haruka replied to Setsuna's provocation in a matching tone. A faint trace of smugness could be seen in her face as she flashed her new outfit for all to see. "If you insist," she continued, "I think that Nya would be fine for a smug cat like you. As for Yeshua here, how about Fuuko? You can thank me for the names later once we—" Nevertheless, she was cut short a few moments later, by a certain telepath.

"Someone likes to feel special," Haruka commented snidely after the fact. "If that's your intention, I guess that you'll have plenty of chances to do that now," she added, following Tomoko's explanation of the imminent attack coming from no one other than Haruka's own flesh and blood.

"I should have expected she was up to something when she disappeared for days like that, after dumping a 'hostage' on our laps," Haruka said as she treated the situation with an uncommon degree of nonchalance. "Also, I don't think that's the case. Knowing my sister, she's likely going to cause as big of a ruckus as she's able to. MFF being involved or not," came a reply to Yeshua's question.

"Someone's thirstier than a fish in the desert," Haruka said after Utena spoke.

"Anyway, do you even know where my sister is, Tomoko? It would be better if we could go there now and stop her before the body count gets higher—I mean, anyone else gets hurt," she said as she got ready to leave at a moment's notice.

"Come to think of it, what happened to our other hostage?"

“Woo, well isn’t that a fancy trick you have on hand,” Setsuna commented once the fox finally made her move. The one now calling herself Mako transformed fully from fox to girl in one fluid motion like parting water, standing before them as proof she was a GMG. Tomoko only nodded, grinning and having a feeling this was no ordinary stray that followed them on their ship. “Well so far they’re more competent than the MFF, so that’s my two cents,” Setsuna said in reference to HART after Mako made her intent known. And the blaring of the alarms still didn’t drop. Wonderful. At least it distracted her from clawing into “Haruka’s” smug little face.

All the same, it was clear by Tomoko’s strained expression this was no ordinary attack. “I’m afraid Haruka’s right, Yeshua. Hyper Fang isn’t stupid. In fact, intelligence believes she’s waited for just a chance like this, to destroy the MFF when they’re weakest. And what’s more tempting than a recent containment breach?” She cast a knowing look on the trio responsible while moving to uncuff Utena at the same time. “Sorry Ex-Aerial Diver, but I don’t think you have a choice in the matter. With the MFF in shambles due to your escape party, they’ll be wiped out with half the city under Hyper Fang, if not more of the populace.”

Her expression darkened now. “As much as we disagree with the MFF’s tactics, they’re still human beings. I don’t think your sister can be reasoned with without some extra force Haruka. Frankly, this is more a matter of protecting the populace than the MFF. If they go down, so does the city.” This time a ringing boom large enough to rock the medical ward followed her words. Already the MFF were engaging in what little they could though under Hyper Fang’s dominion but at their current strength, it was undoubtedly a losing battle.

“As far as I know, Akari is still in her holding cell. But I may approach her to assist all the same, just as I’m asking you to help now, Utena. This is becoming a fight about everyone’s survival, not just sides now.” Another boom, another mini-quake, and this time Tomoko was leaving them. “If you can’t fight, act as support on the ship. But if you can, I suggest you do it soon,” she called out to the GMGs, already making her way to Akari’s cell. Notably, the sound of scrambling forces and footsteps foot falling filled the air as everyone moved to their stations.

But the one completely calm throughout the matter was Hyper Fang herself, who even now relished in decimating large chunks of buildings. Claws glowing a sickly hue, she slashed and hacked at anything in her path before detonating several blocks with more hellish energy shot out from her maw. Although the city had already been put on lockdown, it was all the MFF could do as one by one their frontline initial forces were blown out the sky by Hyper Fang’s beams. “Hey Sis, I know you’re watching. Tell me again, why should I hold back on this place,” she snarled to the air, dense enough for any and all GMG to pick up.

“Let’s go wild and enjoy ourselves~!”

Mako

Mako smiled all mysterious like as she stepped back and watched the scene unfold. These members of HART seemed to be a lively bunch. An attack was underway and they were trading jibs and discussing nicknames. She nodded appreciatively as Tomoko spoke. She seemed to have the right idea, minimalized casualties and work with the MFF, if necessary. It was like a breath of fresh air from the bureaucratic nightmare that was the MFF. Her interest sharped when Tomoko's spoke of Akari, her missing subordinate. They were holding her, it seemed. But why was she here?

Meanwhile the ship continued to shake as Hyper Fang's rampage continued. During a larger-than-normal tremor, the newly freed Utena stumbled a little and Mako pounced on the opportunity for some mischief. She used the desire leaking off the ex-MFF to send her a little daydream of Yeshua reaching out and grabbing her hand to steady Utena. The contact in the illusion lasted just long enough to be awkward...before the dream popped like a soap bubble, leaving confusion and a little arousal in it's wake.

The fox silently tittered to herself at her prank as she turned tail and followed Tamoko out of the room. She wanted to check on Akari, too.

She quickly caught up with the blonde and began to prance beside her, while studying her playfully. "So...do you HART guys enjoy randomly kidnapping people? What is it, like two already? Any more I should know about?" She teased.

Utena Soriyu

Utena felt like Haruka's little comment was a double entendre, but she was too busy gulping down water to really note it. God water tasted so good right now.

Well, this wouldn't be the first time she went out while recovering from an injury. It'd definitely be the first time she went out with a bullet wound, but as long as she stayed in the air she should be fine right? Just don't land, easy peasy! "R-right. Guess I gotta take responsibility haha- wait you're actually just gonna uncuff me? Seriously, you're gonna trust me that easily?" Utena asked with a hint of shock, the handcuffs falling from her wrists and ankles as she rubbed them just to confirm she was actually free. She pushed herself off of her bed slowly as she tentatively set her feet down on the ground, wincing a little as a spike of pain shot through her injured leg. But she wasn't buckling entirely, which was really odd. Did they have some kind of medical technology she didn't know about? Or was it a GMG ability?

Whatever it was, she wouldn't have time to dwell on it for long as a sudden tremor rocked the ship, shaking Utena up just a little. Utena blushed as Yeshua reached out to grab her shoulder, looking the bird in the eyes and- blinking as she stared at what the bird was actually doing. Which was definitely not grabbing Utena. God, she really was thirsty... for water! She was dehydrated! Yeah! "I'm gonna need more water... and my equipment..." She mumbled as she limped towards the door, hoping that either Yeshua or someone would lead the way.
