Hair: Blonde | He usually styles it with gel and keeps it longer on top.
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5’11”
Body Type: Athletic. He is quite toned and fit.
Clothing Style: Aiden has an acquired high taste level (not to mention a high budget), so you'll always find him dressing neatly and in style. He doesn't necessarily dress "fancy", but his clothes are always well tailored and fit him to a tee from the best brands. Whether it's sweaters in the winter, tee shirts in the summer, or the perfect pair of jeans, he makes casual look classy.
Personality Traits
Aiden is a risk taker through and through. He's never afraid to shy away from a new adventure or challenge, and always is searching for his next adrenaline rush.
Though he might dumb himself down at times, he actually has quite a keen intellect and is clever when it comes to things that he's passionate about. Especially Lacrosse- he's calculating on the field and is always ten steps ahead of his opponent.
Aiden bases his opinions and actions heavily in realism. He sees everything for what it is, and doesn't try to over exaggerate or romanticize situations.
A practical thinker, the blonde will always be completely honest with you, even if it is to your own detriment.
Due to his upbringing he is extremely independent, and that shows in his thought process. In Aiden's mind, it's every man for himself.
He's very strong willed and assertive- it's either his way or the highway.
He can be quite the smooth talker and is really good at persuading others to get what he wants.
Surprisingly, Aiden is very observant and perceptive. He has the ability to see how someone else is feeling and empathize, which you wouldn't expect. Especially for those that he cares about, he's very protective and will keep their best interest in mind.
Despite all of his negative traits, at his core Aiden means well.
Biography
Denise and James Howard were a match made in heaven. They met in college- a private and fancy institution- and fell in love. The two were completely in sync, almost the same soul, and aligned on every need and want. It didn't take long for them to get engaged and married, moving to New York City shortly after to start their careers. They amassed a large amount of money in a short period of time, James earning a hefty sum from his growing role at an advertising firm, and Denise selling some of the most lucrative properties in the tri-state area. This afforded them the position to move away from the city after a few years in order to start a family of their own. They settled in Columbus, a middle ground between Chicago and New York so that James could easily travel for work, and they had three children, Aiden coming in at the middle of the pack.
When he was young, Aiden had a happy childhood. Even though they had a nanny during the day, the blonde and his siblings loved spending evenings with their parents when they got home from work. But as time went on, things turned into more of a routine- evenings together grew shorter and shorter, turning into only weekends or an hour or two during the week. His father traveled and his mother went from one open house to another. As a middle child both literally and metaphorically, this lack of face to face with his mom and dad caused Aiden to feel unseen. Livvy was the baby of the family who always got what she wanted; her mother's angel and father's little girl. Spencer was the eldest and the wisest; had excellent grades and always made his parents so proud. And as for the blonde boy, it didn't matter what he did- his mom and dad were too busy to care.
It was in middle school that he began acting out. It started in small ways, like messing with his uniform or speaking out of turn in class, the attention he received from faculty and peers alike fueling his actions. It slowly but surely turned into him getting into fights and skipping lessons. Like everything else, his parents tried to throw money at the problem: promising him material incentives for good behavior and stellar grades. But it made things worse, their middle child ending up in detention, getting suspended, and even in the hospital on some occasions. Denise and James thought they had been doing right for their children by enrolling them in the best schools and giving them everything in the world and more. Even though they spoiled Spencer, Aiden, and Livvy rotten, they failed to realize that more is not always better. And that was the case for Aiden: money couldn't buy his happiness. All he wanted was the attention and approval of his parents.
One would hope that with time that things would get better, but Aiden still couldn't hide from the sickening feeling at the pit of his stomach that he wasn't good enough. Plus, his mom and dad didn't exactly make the effort for him to think any differently. Especially when his older brother went off to a prestigious Ivy League, Aiden continued to find new ways to be reckless and impulsive. It was a silent cry for help. The reputation he created for himself at Liberty was one not to be misunderstood. Although he had a good heart, he used his popularity to distract from his sad reality. Drugs and alcohol helped him escape for just a few hours at a time and to be honest, the only thing that kept him in school was Lacrosse and he only maintained the minimum GPA required to be on the team. But now, with transferring to Rosefell, who knows what stunt he'll pull next.

Aiden drives a Jeep Wrangler, gifted to him by his parents for his 16th birthday.
He also has full reign over his older brother's motorcycle since he's off at college and unable to use it.
Halloween is my favorite holiday in general, but I love dressing up! Some of my favorites costumes from college include Power Rangers with a group friends (I was obvs Pink), Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy with my roommate, and a 60's housewife.
And I've always lived like this Keeping a comfortable distance And up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content With loneliness Because none of it was ever worth the risk But you are... The only exception ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

When Mariano Giannulli accepted courtesy tickets to the opening night and consequent banquet of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, he’d been expecting to indulge in a lavish meal and simply enjoy the timeless sounds of beautiful classical music. What he hadn’t anticipated was to find himself captivated by the long, flaming red hair and outstanding talent of the orchestra’s star cellist: a 25 year-old Scottish beauty by the name of Catriona McAlister.
To say that it was love at first sight for Mariano was putting it mildly. He took it upon himself to, like the gentleman that he was, court the unsuspecting Catriona, who was both flattered and curious to get to know the man she’d made such a long-lasting impression on. One dinner date later, and it was clear to the both of them that they had found their soulmate. Their engagement was announced by the end of the year, the marriage taking place exactly a year later, and the welcoming of their first and only daughter Fiamma Catriona a year after that. And deciding that New York was too busy for their new chapter as a family, the Giannullis packed up and made the move to Columbus, Ohio.
The red-haired girl was raised in the picture-perfect, exemplary, upper class suburban family: with the electronic-free tableside dinners every night, attending Catholic church every Sunday and taking memorable vacations a few times a year. Growing up loved, adored and doted on was certainly no hardship for Fiamma. She was grateful to have been blessed with such a wonderful family and home life-- and she showed it by keeping up outstanding grades, excelling daily in her talents as a violinist, and overall just being the best well-behaved girl and young lady any parent could ever ask for. But as the years went by, the expectations Catriona and Mariano had for their baby girl and her future skyrocketed. There would be no time for boys, they said, or for anything that could derail the path they had all chosen she would follow. And for the longest time, Fiamma had been more than happy to play along. Juilliard and the Orchestra were her goals. Anything else would arrive later, with time.
Molly Quinn | B75EB3 🎻 Has been playing the violin since she was three years old, taking two-hour private lessons four times a week. 🎻 Her star sign is Pisces. 🎻 Dreams of traveling the globe by playing in one of the five top-rated orchestras in the world. 🎻 She was named Fiamma-- the Italian word for flame-- because of her hair color. 🎻 Is fluent in English, Italian and French. 🎻 Adores to listen to and practice violin covers of popular songs, with Daniel Jang being her favorite. 🎻 Only uses profanity when she’s in the heat of intimate moments. 🎻 Made the “True Love Waits” abstinence pledge, with the adjoining purity ring, at age thirteen; though these days she uses the ring out of habit and to avoid suspicion more than anything else…
Hair: Black | Straight and Thin | Often gelled back and styled to the side since it's too short to do anything else with and too long to let it hang in his face.
Eyes: Brown
Height: 6'1"
Body Type: Tall and athletically blessed despite being a theatre kid. He got enough muscle to be intimidating, plus his height, he could make a convincing Batman.
Clothing Style: Merch, Weeb, Casual | He has a lot of hoodies and graphic tees themed from one of the many animes he watches, otherwise he just wears old flannels and v-necks with some sneakers or vans he has hidden in his closet. Sometimes he wears a beanie and sunglasses, along with some jewelry again from anime or inspired off of musicals or plays. Sometimes he'll come to school in pieces of his cosplays, or a wig. It really depends on the day. It's not like the dress code can really stop him, but riding his bike or the bus to school does.
Makeup Wise: He does the bare minimum when his skin breaks out. Otherwise, he avoids it unless he's cosplaying. But some days, it really do be like that and he gotta slay. Those days he'll come to school with contour on point and a natural subtle look to put some of them makeup-less clowns in line.
Scars, Tattoos and/or Piercings: He has his ears pierced but that's about it. A surgery scar on his front from having his appendix removed. He has a few tattoos; a mint green fairytail symbol on the inside of his hip on the right side, the deathly hallows symbol on the inside of his left wrist, and the outline of Sailor Moon looking into a moon on the inner, upper arm.
Personality Traits
Completely comfortable in his skin, Sean is the most shameless guy you will probably ever meet. Not that he does things that would require shame, it's just that he doesn't fully confide to the societal rules of being entirely masculine or feminine since it's all a spectrum anyway. Incredibly supportive to practically everyone with only the worst of people to really earn his spite and attitude. Which on his good days it's just him being the sassy theatre kid who goes deep to achieve the authenticity of the roles given to him. He is a bit on the emotional side and part of that is from him being empathetic to others, which is why he can easily bring out the right mindset for each scene. Genuinely advocating the emotions with only his imagination and the script if need be.
Showing ones emotions are not something to be afriad of doing, and it's a way of life he has adopted in earnest alongside his honesty. Almost to the point of being blunt, when he talks to another person, it isn't ever intentionally hurtful unless they press too close for their own good and the niceties have to be dropped in order to tell the truth that they need to hear. His compliments are well picked when given, and none of them lies, as he believes everything he says to another person. Which can come off as flirty but his flirting is much more of the little actions he does. His mother didn't raise a hooligan, she raised a polite young man to treat anyone he loved with care and respect, even if they don't share the same type of love for him because their choice is as important as his feelings.
That doesn't mean he can't be upset with people's dumber choices, like cat-calling people when they shouldn't be. It is his biggest pet peeve after years of watching his sister's go through that he now has fully taken on the mantle of making people regret it. Through his second favorite hobby, cosplaying is the biggest indicator of how little he cares about gender roles. He'll rock a female character with makeup done to perfection and his wig styled delicately in place just as much as he'll flex his muscles as a haughty male one. He is assured in his looks and confidence with no room for doubt. Just his sense of humor and forthright declaritions of how great his legs look in thigh highs.
Biography
When Sean was born, his father was already one foot in the grave, and passed shortly after peacefully. So he had no real father figure in his life, or memories of his dad outside of the few photos and videos his mother and older sisters took while he was still alive. That didn't mean that he grew up with no one to keep him in check. His mother was woman who kept his father in check, and in turn kept him from getting too rowdy or mischievous, but allowed him to experience the world on his own still. Safe under her watch and the watch of his older sisters with no pressure to be anything but himself, he got the unbaised taste of everything to form an opinion of his own. Except for the sports, specifically football where a boy had tackled him so hard the trauma kickstarted his appendix bursting, which was not the funnest way to get out of PE for a few months.
He liked braiding his sisters hair, and having his own styled when it used to be long enough. The boys and girls in his class that said otherwise often met with the wombo-combo of his sister's fists and harsh words. Makeup was but a new medium of creativity that his sisters hate to admit that he was better at than them. Though he never minded them asking for him to do theirs before a date or an important event, cause he loved them and they would eventually help him learn how to sew clothes with the old, rickety sewing machine their grandmother had left to their mother by being his model test dummies. Especially when he found his deep love for acting in the school plays, since he wanted everyone to look their best and stuff the school was making was god-awful. You can't take a Romeo serious if he's wearing cardboard, why would you expect Juliet too.
She isn't gonna die for him. Laugh in his face, but not die for their cursed love and reckless planning.
So he set up a lemonade stand and bake sale to get the money for fabric to make new, better costumes that young miss thang could fake a death for. His first attempt at baking was... A huge mistake, but his sister's swooped in and helped before he almost burned down the house trying to make brownies. They got the money solely thanks to them helping him finish the amount of baked goodies he needed to sell.
And them holding signs to get people to come by them wearing the two costumes he could make on out of his own allowance he donated to the cause of good theatre. They attracted the wrong kind of attention and switched out with one of them, dawning a wig and making any of the more awful adults who came by uncomfortably unsure what gender they were, and by responding back to their unwanted comments with quotes from various Shakespeare plays, citing them in full with gusto. So much so that he word spread fairly quick and the local theatre came by to support them.
They got their money for costumes, they had an awesome play for middleschoolers, and he found out he enjoyed uno reversing cat calls on people while wearing thigh highs. Over all, a huge win that got even bigger when a friend of his introduce him to the great world of anime. From there, his cosplaying career on Instagram and Tiktok was started cause he went ham the instant he realized he could make his favorite character's costumes. It took some time, and a lot of patience since his wallet wasn't overflowing with riches, but his budget cosplays got him noticed. People he didn't know started fund him enough to continue since soon his normal money went to helping save up for his sisters' college funds, as he did pick up job during the summer helping at a family friend's construction company which bulked him up.
He made them the belle of both their proms from their hair to their dress, and the looks on their faces when they got to see themselves in a full length mirror is something he will never forget. They didn't either, since their gifts was using their old rooms as his new sewing / cosplay storage and a gym membership for him to use to stay in shape since he loved being able to be tackled in a hug just like a loveable little anime brother, and not fall and be crushed by them.
When he got into highschool, he really stepped up his game as a cosplayer and has been perfecting his skills and has started revamping his old ones since they no longer fit him anymore. He is ambilivant to the Liberty High School shutting down, well he's curious as to why it happened, but not enough to warrant him getting suspended for looking for answers. He'll just settle for conspiracy theories and chilling senior year.

Emily's bronzed skin is complemented very well with her gentle facial features. Alluring brown eyes, a charming slender nose and plump, luscious lips, all come together to form a comely appearance most would appreciate and consider pleasant. Apart from several healed cuts and scrapes from her careless youth and other sports injuries, her complexion is free of any major scars or blemishes. Her chocolate brown eyes are just as expressive as they are alluring. Often carrying a message that words do not, one can often tell how she feels when words fail her. While she does apply make-up, she never goes over-the-top in its application. It is often very basic and usually no more than simple eyeliner, concealer, a touch of eye shadow and lip gloss or lip balm. As for piercings, the only ones she has are her ear lobes pierced for the sake of occasionally wearing earrings. Her long curly black hair is usually worn free, only tied up into a bun or ponytail when she engages in highly physical activity that require increased agility and more freedom of movement.
She eats well, and leads a highly physical lifestyle with frequent involvement in ice hockey from a young age. Standing at 5'6" and weighing around 140lbs, the life she leads allows her to maintain a fit and toned figure despite being a big eater. She can often be seen in branded sports wear such as tank tops, leggings and other related sports apparel one can find in a Nike/Adidas or Puma store. In colder climates, she can be seen throwing over an equally branded leather jacket, scarf and a warm pair of jeans. In terms of colors, she prefers darker shades, but can still be occasionally seen in white or pastel shades when the mood strikes.
Personality Traits
Highly passionate about what she believes and armed with a fighting spirit, Emily has a whole lot of spunk and is as feisty as most say. Not one to turn down a challenge, she is extremely brave and possesses a determined mind along with a never-say-die attitude. She also believes in the need to stand up for one's beliefs. She can be loud when she needs to be, and equally fierce when the occasion calls for it. Highly persistent, she does not give up once she sets her sights on something. She tries her best to stay calm and level-headed in crises in attempts to harness the situation and turn the odds into her favor, but these attempts often fail as the impulsive side of her often takes over. A highly emotional individual, she is also known to be incredibly passionate about what she believes in.
Quick witted and intelligent, she’s rarely fazed by anything, be it letting loose a string of insults and obscenities or terms and actions of affection. She’s also not one to mince or sugarcoat words, and just simply says what’s on her mind. Unafraid of trying new things, she is both equal parts brave and adventurous. Life without any fun in it would make her feel horribly bored and miserable. Once one gains her trust and loyalty, she is stunningly loyal to them to the end of times, unless something drastic happens that changes her mind. She likes to tease people with snarky remarks or comebacks and is unafraid of acting goofy or doing silly things and appearing mischievous in the eye of others. She gets surprisingly protective of her friends and loved ones, unafraid of standing up for them and would go to great lengths to protect them. Despite being brought up with a silver spoon in her mouth, she is anything but a spoiled brat.
Biography
Despite his parent's disagreement, Peter Jordan began his career as a professional hockey player after graduating from college, playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. He put in all the hard work and determination into the sport with his team and allowed his passion to shine through to prove to all of his detractors to show that this wasn't a phase and he wasn't simply taking this up to pass time. Ice Hockey was more than just a hobby to him, and he did not give up even after breaking ties from his wealthy upper-class parents to accept his choice of career. He played well and earned scored a number of key wins and accomplished a great deal of accomplishments, becoming one of their star players and enjoyed many successes with the team. It was also during his sporting career that he met his best friend and team mate Andrew Baxter. The two of them hit it off right away and became best buddies and stuck through thick and thin together over the years. When Andrew got married, Peter was right there as his best man, capturing the best moments with his brother from another mother. Peter remained single, and one day he woke up to find a baby warmly wrapped up in a basket outside his door. Along with the baby came a letter from one of his exes, informing him of his responsibilities as a father.
Unable to contact the mother, Peter was left with the choice of taking care of the baby himself or taking it to an orphanage. He eventually decided with the former. He took care of the baby girl as best as he could, even taking time off from his hockey career to focus on taking care of the girl, along with the help of the Baxters whenever they were free to do so. Despite the couple's love for each other, the Baxters were unable to conceive any natural children of their own. When Emily was just ten, her father died in a car accident. With no family here in Ohio, and estranged with his own family, the girl was set to be placed into an orphanage. The Baxters took it upon themselves to adopt young Emily into their family. Despite being brought into a wealthy family, her adoptive parents did not neglect to teach her the values of humility, modesty and respect. Raised in a healthy and loving family with a dedicated and upright upbringing, she avoided the common pitfalls of many wealthy children becoming spoilt brats.
Her adoptive father retired from his hockey career at the age of 35, and took over the family business as the CEO of an American global service provider that provides a large variety of services, including security, logistics and management of operations, with its key client being the US Federal Government. When she was twelve, Amelia passed away from heart complications after an operation. The entire family grieved for the lost of a kind soul and one of the best mothers the world has ever known. It was also when Emily began to earnestly play hockey as well. She started as soon as she was ready enough to, and hasn't stopped since. She continued playing competitively as part of Liberty High's school girl's team and enjoyed every moment of it. The announcement that Liberty High was closing and that they would all be transferred to Rosefell High nearly sent her into a state of depression. She had heard plenty about the poorer school and knew that they were lacking in many different areas and she was pretty sure they did not have a hockey team.
She felt absolutely gutted that she wouldn't be able to continue playing hockey in school once they moved over to Rosehell. Her father eventually cheered up with a phrase that would forever remain lodged in her mind. "Smile baby, you're alive. You've got options." She didn't have many sports team to choose from, but she eventually agreed with her father. She did have some options after all.
Baseball wouldn't be a bad choice, right?

Biography
Richard Samuel Diedrikson came to this world a freezing January night as the only son of Warren and Nikole Diedrikson a prominent defense lawyer and an editor of a prestigious fashion magazine respectively. The boy grew up getting treated to everything he ever needed or wanted as he was the long-awaited son that his father so craved. This bringing with it a whole lot of pressure to be the picture-perfect son his father wanted and carrying on his legacy of being a high school golden boy.
Richie is the youngest of three following his two sisters: Charlotte and Francesca. Being the baby of the siblings his sisters will say that he has it easier than they did because their parents are more lenient on the rules that were enforced with them. But Richie just thinks that he is better at following rules, or at least better at hiding the breaking of them. See because to his parents Richie is the perfect son. A great student that excels in athletics and always lets them know where he is at all times. When in reality he spends his free time out with his boys speeding around in his vintage car that he begged his father to get him.
Something that he keeps secret from his parents is that he actually dreams of being the owner of his own cocktail bar. An industry Richie is convinced his father wouldn’t want his son to get into. But ever since he used his fake ID to get a job as a bartender at the swanky uptown bar “The Spirit” he just fell in love with the culture and the power of a great old fashion.
His time at Liberty High he spent as a king among men. He and his friends ruled that school, and he would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy the attention he got roaming the halls. He knows he is good looking and he is not afraid of using it to his advantage like getting a grade he actually didn’t deserve or getting out of detention. But now that he is being forced to go to this new school, who knows how his senior year will turn out. From what he has heard this new school has a less than savory reputation. But there is nothing a Diedrikson man can’t do when he sets his mind to it.

“Look… I love the guy but sometimes Leon annoys me more than anyone. It’s like he plays up the dumb because he thinks that gets him further with some people. And I guess what annoys me most of all is that is fucking always works. He doesn’t have to try most of the time he just glides smoothly through life. And it’s always been like that ever since he moved in next door. It just feels like when we were 10 we were on equal footing but as we’ve grown up side by side he has gotten so much further than me. I don’t know I’m probably being silly and anxious as always. He is like a brother to me and he is a little older than me so maybe it’s just another case of middle child syndrome.”

↳ Hybrid comic style drawing, mostly western with some manga style influences. Think Jorge Jimenez DC comics exclusive artist. ↳ Has many hobbies that would put him in the 'geek' category easily. ↳ When people talk about cliques they usually mention things like this: oh there's the rebels, and the goths, and the bitches, then there's Spike.
Appearance Details
Hair: Blonde | If left long, his hair is straight unless stylized | Undercut with small tousled top
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5'10"
Body Type: Average
Clothing Style: Outside of school, there's nothing remarkable about his style. He wears tees, hoodies, jeans, flannel shirts, and sneaks. Basically hand-me-downs from his cousins out of state or thrift store clothing his grandfather got for a steal a few years back. Thankfully, he hasn't outgrown his clothes too much. Sure, he'd love more Superhero Merch but he'd rather save his money so he'd be able to afford going out to eat with friends throughout the week, surprising them with a present that's something they've wanted for weeks, or buying groceries for him and his gramps. At school, Spike's created his own form of a uniform, even if it isn't necessary. It just makes his mornings easy having a couple of button up shirts to wear throughout the week. Plus, his papa likes to tell him to dress for success. While he doesn't have a suit, or some high fashion brand trousers, he does have a tie! A green tie. So, like a cartoon, he comes in with dark denim jeans (he has a couple to coordinate throughout the week, but they're all dark shades), low-top black canvas shoes that look like Converse (but aren't), his father's dress shirts, the tie his grandfather made him wear for a middle school dance, and his own touch, a flannel. Flannels are more 'professional' than hoodies, right?
Scars, Tattoos and/or Piercings: Long shiny scars on his right leg and ankle. Being dumb and young, he had made (unsafe) traps to protect the boys' clubhouse from unwanted trespassers. This led to him forgetting where he put all the traps and falling straight into a cluster of barbed wire. Fucked up his leg and tore up his ankle. Don't do this shit at home, kids.
Spike lived a peaceful childhood as the only son of Calvin and Holly Langley, who weren't the most fortunate people in the world, but made due. They doted on their one child, providing for him as a receptionist (father) and a teacher (mother). The biggest support in their life was Paw-Paw Langley, who would become the most important person to Spike to this day for everything he's done for him and his father. Sadly, Spike can't remember much of his mother besides the pictures he sees, the stories that have been told to him, and the lingering feelings buried inside of him. If asked, he could dig down deep and say she loved hugs, Christmas, and his drawings, which she praised him for constantly. Since she had passed away when he was three, she's become a distant, distant dream and it's hard for Spike to say he knew his mother, because he was too young to know her.
Her death was a turning point to Spike's relationship with his father because Spike began to blame her for his father's neglect. She had gone to an education conference, her first and only one, and caught a severe case of the flu, soon after succumbing to her sickness. After her funeral, where none of her family attended, a darkness fell over Calvin that Spike was too young to understand. Holly's family never agreed to her marriage with Calvin, a poor, cursed Langley that would never have anything to his name besides, maybe, his father's rundown mechanic shop. It was signing up for failure, but Holly believed in Calvin, who wanted to one day become a writer, having written thousands of manuscripts at work, but never actually publishing them. She loved Calvin and didn't care if she was giving up everything for him, and for that, Calvin blamed himself for her death.
While Calvin fell into a deep, near-suicidal depression, failing to hold a job, keep it together, and be there to care for his son, Spike was learning to fend for himself and figure out ways to get his father to see him again, to love him like his father loved his mother. Calvin was gone, a ghost, and Spike did his best to remember his mother and adopt some of her mannerisms. He wanted to be a beacon of light, just like her. His solution was smiling widely, being lighthearted, and drawing for his father like he did for his mother. She was such an optimistic and hopeful person, she was exuberant and energetic, full of life, and to Spike, that was the solution to get his father back.
At the same time, Paw-Paw Langley intervened and that snapped Calvin back to reality, causing him to want to make things right, raise Spike well, with love, and never make him feel alone again. After packing things up in their small house, they moved in with Paw-Paw, in his trailer, who provided for his son and grandson until Calvin was able to secure a night job as a janitor. Calvin spent as much time during the day with Spike as he could and the two of them became inseparable. The manuscripts that his father once cared so much about continued to collect dust because his main priority was Spike, and repaying his father for his kindness. Calvin was able to give Spike wisdom beyond his years in everything but the romance department. When it came to sex and love, that was all self taught, which makes sense because Calvin wasn't thinking about his son getting in romantic relationships, he was thinking about never abandoning him like he did after Holly died.
Just when life was going right, and the Langley family felt at peace, nearing Spike's eighth grade graduation, Calvin got into an accident. A hit-and-run. He had bought his son a couple of comics from Page Turners, as a graduation gift, and as he was crossing the street to get to his car, a clear red light for drivers, he was hit. Hard. Spike never did go to his graduation. Rather than shutdown, he drew. A lot.
Fortunately, he was able to become a class clown at Rosefell, which kept people from digging too deep into his life. His family was never important to anyone, aside for those that loved his grandfather's mechanic work. His old man is now retired, having given the business to his friend's son, knowing well enough Spike would never be a mechanic. Now, as a senior, Spike has made a promise to his old man to enjoy his last year at school, but also go to a weekly therapy session that they can barely afford. Spike doesn't think therapy does much for him, but his grandfather is taking a precaution to avoid repeating the past (having failed to put Calvin in therapy). Spike doesn't really see much for himself after he graduates. At most, he'll get a stable job, like a janitor or something, and take care of his grandfather until his old man's dying day. Other than that? Like his father, Spike doesn't believe in himself enough to make his art a profession. He's a Langley and karma seems to never be on their side. He'll be a fool for his friends, to make them laugh, be part of their happiness, but for him? Who knows.
He'll take it day by day.

Jo stands at 165cm or 5'4" with a very fit body frame with all her training as a player. Soft, hazel eyes, a well-designed nose, dimples and soft, supple lips, that complete this soft-spoken look even though she is quite the athlete. Besides the large burn scar on her left arm, her skin seems to be flawless. Joanne has this look on her face that shows her genuine feeling while also ready to be mischievous whenever. She wears heavy makeup only when she has to but most of the time it is light or none at all especially when she has practice or something. Dirty blonde hair is what people see immediately upon looking at her, tied into ponytail most of time when she is writing or making music or anything basketball related.
For her diet she keeps herself very much in shape, her being a basketball player makes it almost a necessity to be well in shape just to be in the team. She does go to the gym all the time and has maintained her muscles and abs very well. She wears a lot of sports wear but with her situation she often repeats her clothes. She does keep herself fashionable, keeping a keen eye to Japanese and Korean fashion and copying what she can.
Jo would die for you. Maybe not but she will do anything for those she cares about, always making sure they are having an amazing time even forgetting about herself sometimes. Though she may be the competitive kid that wants to win over anything, she would rarely trade winning over what her friends and family feel. She always sees the good in people, and she is that person who is willing to miss out a play-off game to come talk to you if you need help or feeling sad. As a song writer, singer, and basketball player, she has gotten some creativity mixed in her, and with how fearless she is, who knows where you'll go when Jo's around.
Although, Jo would never miss out an amazing opportunity, if she was offered to leave and pursue her dreams, she would. She would only wish for her friends and family to support her. Jo is the definition of an emotional support adventure, she will always guarantee someone a good time or die trying. Maybe not die, but she will try her absolute hardest.
Jo is willing to do anything, please do not abuse her trust, she has been through a lot.
Biography
Joanne was born September 19, 2002 in Portland, Oregon. She had parents who supported her and loved her unconventionally, it is something she would never forget. But around the age of 10 her mother got diagnosed with cancer, and has been bedridden ever since. Her father worked as a fireman but was soon laid off for unknown reasons and slowly got worse financially and being the dad to the young Joanne, who was only getting into music at this time. With her father always looking for a job, it was Jo's duty to look after her mother and make sure they would not spend any money on unnecessary things. For a 10 year old, this was definitely not something she had expected to be doing at time.
Joanne thought that it was best to go for basketball instead of music for now since, athletic scholarships always help with money situations. Boy did they need the financial help because her father was losing it, snapping at the littlest things, drinking, gambling, the whole shabang. Her mother was aware of her father losing it especially after he was never happy to see Joanne anymore nor did he care that much about her. Her mother saw that it was not healthy for someone to be growing up like this so she made the call to her sister that she Joanne move in with them for highschool in Columbus, Ohio. Of course when Joanne heard this idea she was unsure since she did not know if her father could take care of her mother. The 15 year old was then told that she was going to be alright and that Joanne had her future ahead of her.
Joanne reluctantly agreed, only because it was her mother wishes, and well that aunt Gianna is really nice.
She did not bring a lot of stuff with her when she moved to Columbus to live with her aunt, since Rosefell did not accept scholarships and it was the only thing the combined effort of her aunt and mom could afford, that is where she is ending up. Her aunt was already taking care of her son who was doing well in college and only came home on weekends so she does not even get to see him often.
Rosefell is weird since she joined the team almost immediately, it was one of the first things she did, and people immediately took notice since... Well... She is not a male, and with her skill in the court it was like she was some sort of prodigy. Even though deep down this was not what she wanted to pursue, she kept going. Her social status grew as one of the best basketball players this school had ever known, going against toe-to-toe with the boys and always coming up on top. She was not exactly untouchable as the guy players in school but with their respect, no one would even attempt touching her. She had this weird protection going on from the guy players that respect her or maybe they just wanted to bang her who knows. The basketball team for men and women were not as big as the football team but it definitely put her up there on the list of people not to get in the way of because well, jocks are pretty scary. She did not want that status, so she made herself very approachable and kind to everyone that she just became this nice student who could kick ass if she wanted to.
Whatever happens now, high school is one hell of a journey to get through, and sure it might be a little easier with her status but that could change at any moment in time.

Richard Kingsley had a problem with authority. A problem with dogma. A problem with his father. As a rebellious teen going into his young adult years, he hated how his life was planned out for him. He was told how to sit, how to act, how to talk in the public eye, because one day his father's diversified conglomerate holding company in New York City, Kingsley Enterprises (a company that has investments in various industries such as: auto parts, energy, metals, rail cars, casinos, food packaging, real estate, and home fashion), would go to him. Or should go to him. Richard made sure to convince his father to give his brother his inheritance, that he had other things in mind for himself. To pave his own path and live his own life — the way he wanted to.
During a rare, quiet night in college, when he wasn't at a rager or caught up fucking some easy piece of meat, he came back to his apartment to see his roommate watching the Winter Olympics. There he saw the person he knew would be his wife. Isabel Espinoza. A captivating Latina woman who danced on the ice with her soul. Something about the movements, the artistry, and the discipline drew him in. He couldn't look away. Call it love at first sight, or an audacious boy eager to get into the chase of his life, Richard wanted Isabel and he would go out of his way to make that happen.
You see, the one thing about a Kingsley is once they want something, they fight for it. A Kingsley gets what they want, one way or another. They never lose. So, a twenty year old boy, pursuing politics to make a statement to his father, more out of spite than anything, strategically planned his pursuit and made his move. Fast forward two years later, it's clear Richard got what he wanted, with intense ambition and leaving her no room to think about anyone else, because Isabel got knocked up and had to close one chapter, for another.
Willingly, Isabel left her twin sister, and her twin sister's family, in Los Angeles, where they thrived, and settled in Ohio, at Richard's request. He still had to finish school, and he promised her that this would be a place they both can prosper, away from their parents' bullshit. A place where Richard had a soft spot for because of rock n' roll and football, but also because he did his research prior, and knew it would provide Isabel a platform to really progress her skills and unique set of skating experience, both figure and hockey.
Richard would invest all his money into her because he believed she was inspiring and those who gained her as a mentor would only be blessed by her presence. As a lawyer, he could work just about anywhere, so the place wasn't too big of a deal. Then again, his father had this irrational hatred toward the state of Ohio because a woman had bruised his poor, fragile ego there, In conclusion, Richard knew they absolutely had to settle there.
Fast forward to present day, Richard and Isabel are filthy rich and influential powerhouses. He for the government, showing where he stands at times of challenge and controversy, and she as a 'guardian' agent of the ice, pushing those who want to become elite in their craft, above and beyond. They have five beautiful children, all stubborn due to who their parents are, but all with a purpose of their own. Richard tries his best to not be like his father, but part of him can't help feel the urge to make one of his children follow his footsteps, not only for ease, but for his legacy.
Now, as he grows older, Richard understands his father a little more each day. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten lucky with his children (yet) in terms of 'what they want to do when they grow up'. Tristan, one of his middle sons, while still following politics, would never have the charisma to be a policy maker and a leader. He's smart, but his temperament would get the better of him. Tristan's twin? Noah? Yeah, no. Noah holds the same prodigal intelligence as his counterpart, however, his apathy has no bounds and a politician must be passionate and willing to compromise for a greater cause. His eldest, Leonel, could've, but Isabel made it clear that the moment Leonel showed strong interest in hockey, there was no room for distractions and to her, forcing their eldest son in a box of law and order was a distraction to optimizing his skating abilities and becoming one of the greats in the NHL.
Lastly, there's their two youngest children, Marcos and Beatrix. Beatrix is Richard's one and only princess, so although she is the most susceptible to his influence, he would give her absolutely anything she wanted. That leaves the youngest son, Marcos. Marcos seems to have the whole package and could do something more than sports. At last, it seems soccer and hockey is all his son cares about. Perhaps, Richard needs to accept that his children are very much like him and will go out of their way to do what they want regardless of what he, or his wife, thinks. That doesn't mean he won't test the waters. He has two more children left to help guide — let's see what he can do.
As you can see, Marcos has two, intimidating parents that mean well, especially his father, but can be intense when it comes to their children's successes. As the golden boy out of all his siblings, having not stepped out of the line of perfection aside from the couple times he made girls cry, Marcos is decisive, calculative, and has his life lined out for himself. His father's plan is a back up plan just in case. He leaves no room for royally fucking up. Although he has partied with his friends, he's never truly let loose. Losing complete inhibitions means possibly ruining everything he's ever built on his own and proving his father's point, that he will just settle like his brothers. Not letting his ambition take him to great heights.
At a young age, all of his siblings were taught how to skate, put in little leagues, and local scrimmages. They were also taught how to be role models in high-class society, giving people little to no room to find dirt on them. Sometimes, wearing a mask was necessary to protect what's important to you, and that takes years to truly understand. Don't trust everyone, because not everyone is there because they care.
While his mother invested in his athletic abilities, his father groomed him to be smart and devilishly charming. A witty devil, like a politician. If the Kingsley Five were each triple threats, with beauty, brains, and a likeable personality, they'd have an impressive starting hand to success. Of course, this was Richard and Isabel's way of looking out for their babies because in comparison to other kids, their hand was already FANTASTIC. They were born in fortune which meant most things they got in life would not take struggle, unless their parents chose to withhold money, which only happened if they did something so shockingly disappointing. Fortunately and unfortunately, Richard and Isabel are too prideful to think their parenting is slightly flawed, therefore not finding it necessary to take their kids' allowances unless absolutely necessary.
Marcos fights between falling into his stereotype of privilege and growing into his own independence, finding humility. Part of him wants to make his father proud, which his older brothers seemed to have failed at, or that's what they assume because poor communication with their father. The other part of him clings to soccer for dear life because it's something he found without his father and without his mother. Soccer's something he could make his own. It isn't guaranteed that he'd become a legendary player. If anything, his skills are slightly above average but not epic. He has a higher success rate pursuing what his father sees fit for him, yet this stubbornness makes him want to fight for this, no matter the obstacles.
With the pressure of his future on his shoulders, Marcos tends to feel above the whole high school scene and would like to pursue his career sooner, rather than later, to prove something to himself. His mother won't allow him to rush through high school. It's his senior year and he needs to enjoy being a kid while he is still young. To Marcos' distaste, an unpredicted factor has come into play: Liberty closing down. He immediately thought this wouldn't be the end-all-be-all because his father would surely move him to an equally great school or better.
To the whole family's surprise, Richard did not uproot Marcos' and Trixie's lives so that they could go to a school of higher caliber. No, Richard sat down with his children and told them: this will build character and teach them a few things. In shock, Marcos looked at his mom to see if she was in full agreement and there she was, at his father's side, nodding. If there was one thing Marcos hated, it was things not going according to plan and this would be the first step of him learning that 'shit happens' in life that can't be fought and there's more to his father than he realizes.
Well, if he has his friends, he should be fine. Right?

Hair: Naturally dark brown, occasionally streaked with blonde | Straight | Usually worn down and cut to varying lengths. It is a perpetual experiment.
Eyes: Grey
Height: 5'2"
Body Type: Alina's body has slimmed as she's grown into it. It was more athletic when she was younger, but she's let it waste away. It's a slight build that's grown slighter with worry.
Clothing Style: Alina dressed a lot like a tomboy in the lower grades. She still liked girly outfits, but she felt more herself in comfier clothes. As she entered high school, she felt more pressure to conform to norms, but always ended up happiest in her jean jacket, her baseball cap and her collection of oversized t-shirts. She did her best to blend in, if only to try and make it easier for Niki, but it didn't work. Now, she's not sure what to do as a new school looms.
Makeup Wise: Alina's learned how to do makeup very well. Of course, she had a more-than-willing test subject to practice on. She favors bold mascara, soft contouring and neutral lip shades.
Scars, Tattoos and/or Piercings: Alina has a couple of small scars on the knuckles of her right hand from the scraps of her youth. She has multiple piercings in both lobes, as well as a right orbital piercing.
Personality Traits
If you asked Alina to describe herself in three words, you probably wouldn't get an answer. Not because of rebellious attitudes. Mostly because she doesn't know the answer herself.
For years, Alina has thought of herself as a protector. Someone that those in positions of weakness could turn to a find an ally, should they prove worthy. It was a position that Alina relished. It gave her purpose, and she was good at it. When her younger sibling started getting bullied, it allowed her to find her place. From then on, she was not to be trifled with on the playgrounds of Cleveland. But Columbus was a different story.
Alina became more withdrawn, choosing to spend more time in the house, with Niki. It was safe there, at least she thought. She couldn't protect with her size advantage anymore, so this was another way to do so. But it wasn't enough. And now Alina has no clue what that means. What she can do. What she can offer. She's in a bit of a broken state, and has been for almost all of her junior year. She withdrew from sports, from clubs, from everything. There was nothing she could do after what happened. And it ate her alive.
Now, with the move to Rosefell, Alina has a chance to potentially establish a new direction for herself. Niki seems to be doing better, so maybe it's time to work on herself and try to be someone who doesn't need others to feel useful and wanted. Maybe it's time to try and figure out how she's going to interact with the world for her own gains.
Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows.
Biography
Alina Lily Zabrecky was the first child born to Anna and Bernard Zabrecky on March 29, 2003 in Cleveland, Ohio, and she was blessed with the names of both her grandmothers. Her early life was a happy one, even as her little sibling Nik came into the world a year later. They bonded very quickly, especially as Nik showed an interested in the same things Alina did. She was happy to share. However, as they progressed through grade school, it became clear that other people were not as accepting as Nik started to push the envelope more in public. It didn't make sense to Alina. Why shouldn't her kin get to express themselves as they saw fit? It wasn't fair that Nik was punished for being themself.
So Alina stood up for Nik. Stood up in violent ways. Ways that ended with her in the principal's office and the offending bully often being taken out with her. That was the cycle. If they messed with Nik, they got the Alinattack. It worked on that end, but her parents became concerned with all the suspensions and missed school days alongside the consistent bullying that Nik received when Alina wasn't there to play defense. Plus, it didn't seem to help Nik solve their own issues of self-identity. Eventually, the bullying got so bad that the family departed the Mistake on the Lake and headed inland, to the state capital in Columbus.
Things didn't improve though. Niki became more withdrawn and spent more time in their room. Alina did her best to make sure Niki knew that they were still tight. She tried to do the crafts and projects that Niki was interested in, and as they seemed to progress through school, Alina did her best to set a path to follow, actually focusing on schoolwork as opposed to focusing on who the next target was. Besides, she couldn't be that kind of physical protector for Niki anymore. But she tried so hard to be there mentally. Which is why when she found Niki in their room, razor blades having done terrible work to their arms, blood pooling on the floor, all she could think to do was scream.
Alina wasn't in the room when Niki awoke. She couldn't bear to look at them. She felt like a failure, like she couldn't stop the pain from overwhelming them. What kind of sibling would let that happen? It was unbearable. Alina spent most of her junior year locked away in her room, wracked with guilt over what happened. Her grades plummeted. She managed to pass, but nowhere near the levels she showed she was capable of before. When word came through the grapevine that Liberty was being shutdown and that all students were being transferred to Rosefell, Alina didn't know what to make of it. It was another chance for her and Niki to make a fresh go of things and find a path that both of them could walk down. But Niki was starting to grow distant, more invested in Instagram than anything else. Sure, they still did things together, but she could see the glances at the phone. So what was Alina to do? What would Rosefell represent? What did she want?
She doesn't say. She doesn't know. There is a way to find out, but how ready Alina is for the answers is unknown.
Alina has one dog, a tiny Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Taco that she got as a rescue.
The puppy is so named because Alina's favorite meal is three-meat tacos, with ground beef, chicken and turkey cooked together and served in a soft tortilla. The secret is in the spices.
Alina has dabbled in online gaming, something that allows her to stay close to home, but she's an unranked Overwatch player. Stardew Valley is a favorite, though.
Given her tendency to get into fights while younger, Alina was put into boxing classes as a child. However, as other girls caught up to her, she quickly lost the ability to fight competently against them, and she stopped at age 13.
Her favorite Netflix series used to be 13 Reasons Why, but for obvious reasons, it has dropped from the rankings.
My favorite thing about Halloween is being enjoyed right now, because my roommate got Jolly Ranchers and Reese's Cups on the discount.
The Conception of Samara Sierra Steward-Ellison Kimberly Steward is the daughter of Telcobuy co-founder and the chairman and founder of World Wide Technology's David Steward and his wife Thelma Steward. David Ellison is the son of Larry Ellison the co-founder, executive chairman, and chief technology officer of Oracle Corporation and his third of four ex-wives Barbara Boothe. The chance meeting of these two was one of happenstance as nothing short of coincidence or possible divination intervention could better explain how these two came together to create the miracle that would be Samara Sierra Steward Ellison. The story begins in March of 2001. Kimberly was nineteen at the time and a full-time student attending the Webster University School of Communications pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism whilst in conjunction being a first-time business owner as she had recently started her own bridal planning service. David, who had just recently turned eighteen years old two months prior was a high school senior primed to attend Pepperdine University in the fall for business and on a first-class flight returning home to California after a weekend spent in NYC. Due to a tornado warning grounding his flight home, David found himself having to buckle down in Missouri of all places. The best hotel he could find capable of accommodating him that he could find on such short notice was situated within walking distance of Webster and while a reasonably-minded person would have stayed cooped up in their hotel for the night—a restless David found himself exploring the university's campus as his own impending future had enflamed his curiosity on what college life looked like in person.
While appearing mostly abandoned at first glance due to most of the university's students confining themselves to their rooms with the approaching tornado sending most sensible people indoors, David had managed to come across a small group of students traveling through the wind and dust on their way to a small dorm party that they gifted him an invite to as David had admittedly been walking about like a lost puppy dog not quite sure where to turn to next. It was at this party that the paths of Kim and David converged and after some good conversation and a little more than a little bit of liquor—the two found themselves entangled in Kimberly's bedsheets. In the morning after with the weather now as clear as could be, David boarded a flight and the two parted ways not even thinking to exchange contact information as they both knew what happened between them was a one-time deal that was never going to be repeated again. David returned to school. Kimberly went back to being the multi-talented boss bitch that she was, and for a time, it seemed like everything had just gone back to normal. Although that normalcy didn't last long as in a matter of weeks Kimberly came to realize that she was . . . late.
Initially, Kim wrote it off as stress, which wasn't exactly an outlandish theory as she was both a full-time college student as well as a businesswoman running her own company. However, it would soon become clear that stress was not the cause of her missing cycle as the weeks passed with no visit from mother nature. With a pit in her stomach, Kimberly inevitably found herself taking a test that did indeed confirm that she was pregnant with her one-night stand's baby. The Stewards as a familial unit were heavily indoctrinated in the Christian faith and having sex before marriage was already considered a sin within itself but having a baby out of wedlock was the epitome of shameful. Kimberly had had a plan for her life and while it included having children down the line, it was intended to be far further down the line. Making a deliberate choice to not think about the predicament she had gotten herself into, Kimberly focused on her studies and business pushing the prospect of motherhood to the deepest-darkest crevice of her mind. Inescapably, time moved forward, and as the end of the school year approached Kim was out of excuses to use to occupy her mind. At this point, she was ten weeks along in her gestation, and with her second trimester on the horizon, it was only a matter of time before she would start to show. Kimberly had been doing everything in her power to put off having to think about her situtation but she was going to be returning home to stay with her parents over the summer and she knew she wouldn't be able to hide her pregnancy forever. Deciding to get it over with as soon as possible, Kimberly found the courage to disclose her secret to her parents and brother, David Steward II, over family dinner her first night back. A shock that had rendered the family speechless had fallen over the room for what felt like hours before David Sr.'s shock turned to rage that bubbled over like an erupting volcano. Her brother David had swiftly ushered Kimberly out of their father's presence as he left their mother Thelma to tend to her husband and his outburst.
David Steward was far from a simple man. Born in Chicago but raised in Clinton, Missouri, David faced poverty and discrimination as an African-American during his childhood. He had lived through the times of segregation and prided himself on being a man of great work ethic which he credited to his father and perseverance. An entrepreneur since the mid-‘80s, David had worked relentlessly over the span of decades to provide of life of stability and opportunity for his family and for his only daughter to come to him and tell him that she had gotten herself impregnated by a man who was more or less a stranger to her had been the biggest slap in the face he had ever received to date. For all the sacrifices he had made in the name of providing for his family, he'd felt betrayed by his daughter who seemed to be showing so little regard for both her future and her own personal autonomy. Life in the Steward household was at the pinnacle of tension for weeks after that dinner. David Jr. had supported his sister instantaneously. Thelma after taking a few weeks' time to ingest the news and pray on the matter had come to the conclusion that the life her daughter carried was to be seen as a blessing as opposed to a burden and cautioned her husband to temper his rage. Regardless of his feeling on the matter, a new addition to their family was fast approaching and would be here sooner rather than later and she was not about to abandon the daughter which she had carried or the baby that her baby was carrying.
As September rolled around, Kimberly who was coming to the end of her second trimester and at the point where hiding her pregnancy was no longer an option geared up to return to school. She knew what her father thought her pregnancy meant for her future but she was going to let the next chapter of her life rewrite her whole story. Kimberly had a plan for her life and she wasn't about to let one massive bump in the road derail the outcome she envisioned for herself. Before leaving for college, David came to his daughter and told her that she would have the support of her entire family going forward and while the summer had been rough the future was looking bright for the whole Steward clan. Finding it easier to attend her classes being on campus, Kimberly had lived at Webster until her water broke in the middle of her giving a class presentation. Four days into December, Kimberly gave birth to her daughter who she named Samara Sierra Steward.
Infancy and Toddlerhood (Age 0-2) Returning back to school in time to cram out her finals, Kimberly was thankful that Samara had come when she had as she now had the entirety of the break to adjust to her new role of motherhood before the start of the spring semester. To think she was now a full-time college student, entrepreneur, and single mother to a sweet bundle of joy — oh' how much her life had changed in the span of a year. Throughout her gestation, Kimberly had considered seeking out David on multiple occasions but every time ended up talking herself out of it. On a selfish level, there was a large part of herself that wouldn't admit that she just didn't want to share her daughter with him, and then there was the logical part of herself that tugged at her emotionally that knew that father-and-daughter had the right to get to know one another. Regardless of her feelings, the fact of the matter was that she reasonably wouldn't have even known where to begin when it came to tracking David down as her memory of the man was murky at best and she didn't even have any contact information on the guy. So, she chose not to think about it or him. Turning her sole focus to being the best mother she could to her newborn.
It had been decided whilst she and her family were in the delivery room after Samara was born that Kimberly would move back in with her parents so she could receive their full support while when she went back to school. Thelma would watch baby Samara while Kim attended school and although she wasn't exactly struggling financially due to her own steady stream of business, David made it clear that he would provide all monetary support for both mother and baby for the foreseeable future — or at the very least until his daughter graduated from college. Kimberly while grateful for her parents' willingness to be her shoulder to lean on in her time of need couldn't help feeling like a burden. However, with no father in the picture and her schedule and list of responsibilities being beyond stacked, she was in no position to not accept every speck of help that was being afforded to her. For all of her parents' reservations in regards to their little girl getting knocked up so early in life, they were the best damn grandparents Kimberly could have asked of them to be. Always there for both their daughter and grandchild at a moment's notice whenever Kim found herself being overwhelmed and buried by all the weighted responsibilities she held on her shoulders.
By May of 2003, before Samara was even a year and a half, Kimberly was walking down an aisle receiving her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism. The wedding company that she had started when she was nineteen had staged more than 200 events in the Midwest and her family couldn't be prouder of her successes. Offered an internship in New York City working for W Magazine, Kimberly sold her company and in the fall of that year, she and her daughter moved to the Big Apple. While her father had offered to continue supporting through their adjustment phase as that got accustomed to the fast-paced life of New York, Kimberly refused feeling it was time for her to officially cut the dependant tether she had to her parents. She herself was a mother and she felt the time had come for her to be one without her parents waiting in the wing to swoop in and coddle her at the first sign of a struggle. That sense of security was the first thing Kimberly instantly missed once the hardships started in. Working an internship at a bustling magazine whilst tiring to be an attentive single-mother to an energizer bunny in pampers was more than the struggling nearing twenty-two-year-old had bargained for it to be.
After one massive meltdown that saw her on the phone crying to her mother about what a failure she felt she was because of how hard it all felt had Thelma boarding a flight to help her daughter get her life in order. Thelma stayed in New York with Kimberly and Samara for over a month until Kim had a full grasp of her bearings. When the time inevitably came for her mother to return home to St.Louis, she convinced Kimberly that hiring a full-time would be in the best interest of both her and her daughter. Kim had admittedly considered the thought before, but the fact that her parents had never needed the assistance of paid help to raise her and her brother had kept her from hiring one. But, Thelma reminded her hardheaded child that unlike herself and her father who had each other along with the support of the church to help them raise their unruly children — Kimberly was a single mother, and her village lived states away in Missouri. Unless she was willing to leave New York and build a life for herself and her daughter closer to home, she would need to buy what support was readily available to her. Craving under the weight of her mother's superior level of sense, Kimberly did hire a nanny to aid her in attending to Mara's needs. It had been a bitter pill to swallow, but it had been a necessary one that she didn't come to regret making.
Early Childhood (Age 2-6) The employment of a full-time nanny made a world of difference for Kimberly as she was better able to split her time between her child and her career. She by no means became an absentee parent but having the added help in the house meant that everything didn't always fall on her to do — at least not where Samara was concerned. As the years passed, life for the mother-daughter pair became more seamless and routine. During the major holidays along with birthdays that rolled around, they would go back to St.Louis to spend them with family. Occasionally, Kim's parents, brother, or all three would visit her and Mara periodically whenever they had the first time to do so. Life was more or less as balanced and streamline as things could be. Kimberly was steadily adding a variety of names to the repertoire of magazines under her belt and had transitioned from the advertising and marketing side of the magazines that she worked on to the editorial side.
In September of 06, although Samara was only two months shy of turning five, the private school that Kimberly had her heart set on enrolling her into would not accept Samara into the school as her December birthday prevented her from making the hitting the required age requirement for enrollment. While Kim could have placed her into a different school for the time being and transferred her the following year for the first grade, because most of the new students that entered the Trinity School did so in kindergarten, spaces for grades one to four were far more limited and harder to get. The Trinity School being one of the top-rated, private, Christian schools in all of New York made it one that Kimberly was deadset on having Samara attend, and to guarantee that she did Kim held off on enrolling Samara into school. While Samara's nanny didn't disagree with Kim's thought process or decision when it came to keeping Mara out of school for another year, the woman did feel that it was important for Samara to get involved in some activities as she felt the four-year-old needed to start socializing with peers in her age group. Adhering to the nanny's discernment, Kimberly enrolled Samara into various recreational classes; swimming, dancing, singing, and a theater company that accepted kids her age.
The Atlantic Acting School is where Samara first discovered her love of theater. Kimberly herself, as well as her mother, were huge film buffs as in her own childhood Thelma had introduced Kimberly to master moviemakers such as Ingmar Bergman, Stanley Kubrick, and Alfred Hitchcock; which imprinted Kimberly with an appreciation for films. Mara was at this age too young to comprehend the works of those men, but what she did understand was that she greatly enjoyed the craft of acting and all that it entailed. Her mentors at the school were blown away by Samara's innate talent and encouraged her mother to consider letting Mara really pursue acting as the child clearly had a gift for the trade. Taking the critiques of these experts seriously, Kimberly broached the subject with Samara a short while after her fifth birthday. Overjoyed by the prospect of getting to be a real-life movie star, Samara pleaded with her mother to let her try. Putting her plans of enrolling Samara into Trinity on the backburner, after New Years, Kimberly moved to California with Samara to allow her child to try her hand at acting.
Middle Childhood (Age 7-11) As the New Year of 09' came and went, a seven-year-old Samara had taken Hollywood by storm and was said to be the best and hottest child star on the scene. In the years that had passed since she and her mother had arrived in California, Samara had played a guest-starring role on four television shows one of which was Barney and Friends which had been a big deal for Samara personally, starred in a series from 07' to 08' that had just recently come to end and been aired on Disney Channel, and got to star in eight separate movies, playing minor roles in two, a supporting role in three, one of which was her first animated movie and time voice acting ever, and lead roles in the other three and had her acting alongside Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. Things couldn't have been any more idyllic. While Samara had never gotten to go to Trinity or any other school for that matter, her mother had hired a governess to homeschool her as it was more conducive to her Mara's work schedule. While Samara had been prospering in her career as a blossoming starlet, Kimberly was once again in a transitional stage as she was in the process of developing a new creative agency with another former editorial stylist that she had worked with in the past.
As much as Samara was enjoying her career and happy with her life in California, she was ready to slow down with her acting as she was starting to miss just being a regular girl. Her acting career had hit the ground running which hadn't allowed a lot of time for adjusting to all the things that came along with overnight notoriety. Now she had an agent that always seemed to be constantly booking her for the next venture. If she wasn't on the set for a movie or show, she was on a press junket being interviewed, hosting a meet and greet to crazed fanfare, or signing autographs for those same fans, or she was at a photoshoot for one teen magazine or another, there was also the carpet walks and annoying paparazzi that stalked her to get whatever photos she didn't take willing for the magazines that already had her picture on it. While she was an actress, she was also still a child, and while there were still definitely enjoyable parts about stardom; she was getting burned out by all the other requirements that came along with it. Over the course of that entire year, the only acting she had done was the voice acting of two characters on two episodes of a children's show called Special Agent Oso. Samara was tired. As she prepared to broach the subject about taking a break from acting to focus on attending an actual school for the first time in her life, a bomb was dropped on her mother just as the year was coming to a close; David Ellison had had her served with custody papers.
The now twenty-six-year-old David Ellison had lived something of an eventful life since last seeing Kimberly all those years ago. While he had ended up going to Pepperdine University as he had intended, he'd quickly transferred from that school to the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Ultimately he ended dropping out of college altogether in favor of launching his own production company called, Skydance Media. The company's first film that they had ever financed had flopped horrendously in 06'. This had sent David down a deep hole of depression that had taken himself some time to pull himself out of. However, David and his company were now on the verge of making quite the ironic Hollywood comeback. His company had just finished signing a five-year co-financing, production, and distribution agreement, with Paramount Pictures and was about to start production on a new movie. He was in a happy relationship with a woman he was planning to build a future with and all of a sudden his world stopped when one of his casting directors mentioned a role he thought could be filled by a child actress by the name of Samara Steward. The last name had seemed familiar enough that David had looked into it to find out that the child's mother was a woman he had slept with nine months before her birthday. When he had dug deeper he had found no information on Samara having a father or her mother ever being married . . . the wheels became to turn in his head as he drew his own conclusions. While he couldn't prove it, the timing was just too coincidental for him to dismiss. He had a daughter.
Neither the Ellisons nor Kimberly wanted to make this private matter a public spectacle as it would have only served to harm all parties involved — specifically and most importantly Samara which no one wanted. The discovery that she had a father who Kimberly knew was out there and was actually fighting to be a part of her life cause a massive rift to be wedged in between the mother and daughter. Samara was irate with angry and Kimberly for all her explaining just kept coming off as the bad guy in Samara's eyes. Kimberly offered to send her to stay with her grandparent in Missouri while she and David worked things out behind the scenes but Samara rejected her proposal. Samara wanted to go to school and she didn't want to do it in California. Samara couldn't remember a time in her life that she had ever been as angry with her mother as she currently was. The prospect of getting the opportunity to know her father had her feeling too many ways to process and she just didn't want to deal with anything anymore. It had been a tricky process as the time of year made things difficult, but Kimberly did end up being able to send Samara away to a boarding school in Switerzland called Le Rosey.
From 2010 to 2013, Samara cut off all communication with her mother safe for whatever limited words were passed through them via her uncle or grandparents' lips. Pushing her mother away had meant she subsequential had always ended up having to push her mother's family away as it was the only way to guarantee full avoidance. But, she kept in contact with them through a phone call, occasionally mailed gifts, and birthday Skype sessions. Due to her age at the time and her being able to vocalize her own thoughts and opinions, Mara had been brought in during her parents' discreet custody battle and told the lawyers involved that she wanted to get to know her father. Taking it a step further she had said that she had wanted to live with him. Whether or not she had said that more out of a genuine desire to what to get to know the man or more so because she just wanted to hurt her mother was hard to say, but in the end, her mother hadn't fought anymore after Samara said that. Samara hadn't actually expected her mother to relinquish her into her father's care but she had. And along with that, David's name had been added to her birth certificate and Samara's last name was legally hyphenated to include the surname of her father, thus Samara became . . . Samara Sierra Steward-Ellison.
This all and all hadn't been too big of a deal on one hand as with Samara enrolled in boarding school she wasn't going to be living with him full-time. However, that within itself didn't make things any less awkward when she did inevitably have to go home to California for the first time. Incredibly uncomfortable all around for Samara, David, and his girlfriend Sandra; things did get progressively better as the days turned to weeks. Samara would hadn't wanted to put his career on the shelf entirely did film a Christmas at this time which gave her a viable excuse to get out of the house whenever things hit that point of uneasy silence. In 2011, David and his girlfriend tied the knot and Samara had gotten to be a bridesmaid in the wedding, which was . . . nice. Eventually, things got easier and Samara found herself getting really attached to her father, stepmom, and the rest of the Ellison clan. If she allowed herself to think about it too much, there was an ache in her heart for the determination of her relationship with her mother. But, like her mother, Samara was stubborn and couldn't bring herself to be the one to mend the wedge between them. So, Mara didn't deal with it. She focused on the new projects that found their way to her, her education at Le Rosey, and bonding with the family that she'd been kept from for the better part of her life due to her mother's selfish decisions.
Adolescence (Age 12-18) In the years that followed, Samara's career didn't slow down even with her attending her boarding school for a good chunk of the year. Every break no matter how big or small she found herself either guest-starring in popular television series or filming movies. She couldn't work on series anymore as her schedule didn't allow her the time, but even so, she was able to keep her name relevant in Hollywood. In Switerzland, she still wasn't on speaking terms with her mother but spoke to her father and grandpa Larry almost every day. Along with frequent chats, they'd constantly send her care packages full of her favorite treats and designer goods that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to the envy of her peers. The thing about Rosey was that the majority of the children that attended came from money, status, or a combination of the two; but none came from the kind of wealth or status that Samara did. This is why, by the time she was a high school sophomore she was officially running things — the crowned Queen of Le Rosey. Far from being a standard occurrence, it didn't matter if the people in her vicinity were in grades below or above her, they all wanted the privileged and esteem of being able to say that not only did they know but that she was someone they could call a friend.
As a Queen, Samara wasn't exactly an outright "mean girl", but she definitely knew how to manipulate people and situations to her will. The fact of the matter was that the student body at Rosey craved her approval, attention, and affection and she knew how to weaponize their need for validation. Letting the power and notoriety go to her head, Mara ruled that school with a silver-tongue and a smile. Which was all fine and well until tragedy struck at the end of the year. A scholarship kid who for whatever reason thought it was wise to let it slipped that he had a crush on Samara ended up on the receiving end of relentless harassment and on most days some level of assault. Did Samara have the power to step in and rectify what was going on in her school? Of course, she did. But, she didn't. This being mainly due to the fact that the main person leading the charge in all the foulness was her boyfriend and she ultimately allowed herself to write it off as "guys being guys". It was her problem.
As the school year came to a close and parents and other family members alike came to collect their children for the summer. Word spread through the campus like wildfire of a suicide that had taken place on campus that turned out was of the boy who had had a crush on her. Rumors that a really cruel "prank" had been played on the boy days earlier and while Samara hadn't been there personally she had gotten the full rundown on what had occurred. Her now, ex-boyfriend had been the main culprit and Samara had felt guilty for having not gotten involved sooner, although if she had known what the end result would have been she'd definitely felt she would have. The whole ordeal was traumatizing to say the less and once she was off that campus she made it clear to her father that she wouldn't be returning to it in the fall. She cut off all communication with her former classmates and peers blocking anyone who attended the school from her social media accounts and contacts. Her family could tell she had been incredibly shaken by the whole experience but no one could get her to open up to them. Her father had offered to get her a therapist but she had shut him down saying she didn't want to discuss it and so he dropped it. David and Samara had never had to endure any real strife before and outside of buying her things and spending time with her just hanging out, he had no real experience being a dad — to Samara, her dad was a friend, not an authority figure.
Over the duration of that summer, Samara began having nightmares and as a way to cope with the stress and guilt, she felt turned to popping pills and alcohol. She was careful when it came to how she explored her vices as she had heard of the share of horror tales revolving around child stars like her who would just end up derailing their lives for one reason or another. During the day she'd go to set and do her work but at night she'd end up drinking until she either got drunk enough that she wouldn't dream or stayed up all night by taking Adderall or caffeine pills. As the fall approached and her father began to bring up new schools in California that she could attend, Samara outright told her father that she was done with school. She didn't need it. Her dad was a college dropout. As was his sister and father and they'd all turned out just fine. Plus, people went to school to get an education so that they could get a career; Samara already had a career. One that she had been working for almost a decade and won several awards for. She didn't need college. She didn't need high school. Fuck it all!
David was understandably at a loss and unsure of how to handle the situation. He had attempted to talk Samara into doing homeschool again but she all but gave him the finger on the matter. The situation was a tricky one for David as he was never the type of parent to chastise his daughter nor did he think she would listen to him if he tried. Samara was two years shy of being eighteen and while her father currently provided for her in all actuality she didn't need him. Having been working in the industry for as long as she had, Samara while not wealthy was rich in her own right. She could walk out of his house on any day of the week and be just fine. With his back against the wall and no other options at his disposal, David called Kimberly as she was the only person he thought could get their daughter back on the right track. Unfortunately for David, Mara found out what he was up to before her mother could arrive in California from where she now lived in Ohio and she took off.
Samara went country-hopping. Just traveling across the globe of her own accord. In the end, her grandfather Larry tracked her down in Bermuda, and while David had qualms about reprimanding his daughter Larry had no such issue. This led to Samara being brought to tears. Larry being the ultimate softy when it came to Samara didn't make her return to California with him as he'd originally been set to do when he boarded his jet to go and find his wayward grandchild. Instead, the two talked, and by the end of their discussion, he was having her flown to his island resort in Hawaii under the agreement that Mara engaged in therapy four times to week to help her get herself back in order. Therapy had been a tremendous help for Samara and it was also what led to her and her mother being brought back together again. As it was her therapist that felt that after almost a decade spent apart it was time for the mother and daughter pair to come together. In July of 2019, for the first time in nine years, the two sat down together to hash out things between them. There was some screaming involved. A lot of apologizing done and said on both sides. And enough tears to flood the whole damn island. But, when everything was said and done, Samara had her mother back and she couldn't have been more relieved to have her back in her life.
Instead of returning back to California, Samara felt that she needed to take time to repair her relationship with her mother and decided to move in her with her in Columbus, Ohio. Kimberly had settled down in Ohio, a year after Samara had decided to go live with father and she'd realized her daughter wouldn't be coming back to her any time soon. While she flew back in forth from Ohio to California for work purposes, she was far happier living far away from the bustling cities of both Manhattan and LA and she felt that a slower pace of life would be as beneficial for Mara as it had been for her. One of the first things that had to be hashed out between mother and daughter once Samara had gotten herself situated in her new home was the topic of her education. Due to the year that she had taken off, she was now behind, and while everyone on her father's side of the family safe for her grandmother were college dropouts, a two-time dropout in the case of her grandpa Larry, the Steward side of her family took education seriously and her not getting a diploma was not going to be an option if she was going to be living under her mother's roof. The first thought was for Samara to take up homeschooling again, she'd done it in her youth and was accustomed to the way that things worked. But, Mara didn't want to go that route. Homeschooling made since when she was acting because of the flexibility it allowed during filming. Now though, she was currently taking a hiatus from her work and if she didn't have a physical school to go to she feared she become a hermit never leaving the house.
Kimberly offered to enroll her into Liberty High, but Samara once again refused. Liberty had a reputation for being a more . . . high caliber kind of school and it gave off Le Rosey vibes for Samara which she was highly against getting involved with again. Doing her own research into schools in the vicinity of her area, Samara found and told her mother she wanted to go to Rosefell. Kimberly was somewhat apprehensive given that the school didn't have the most stellar of reputations as Liberty had had, but she didn't outwardly voice her concerns as she was just happy that Mara was getting back on the right track. Starting her junior year at Rosefell, Samara went into the school year with the mindset of keeping as low of a profile as possible. Of course, having a face as recognizable as hers, by the end of the first day the whole school was well aware of her existence at the school. Hearing all of the whispers of excitement and feeling all the eyes that now seemed fixated on her; Samara got home and almost ended up having an anxiety attack over it all. She didn't want the attention. It just reminded her of boarding school and that poor kid who ended up taking his own life because of her. Fortunately for Mara, her mother as a precaution had reached out to Samara's therapist from Hawaii and had the woman waiting for Samara when she got home that day. After guiding her through her anxiety, they'd talked about Samara's very apparent residual paranoia and PTSD leftover from her time at Rosey. Samara was suddenly reconsidering the idea of homeschool as she felt like turmoil was the only evitable outcome, but her therapist assured her that along as she carried and approached Rosefell differently than she had her time at boarding school history would not end up repeating itself.
So, when the following day came, Samara, taking her therapist's words to heart, walked back into Rosefell with the mindset of no longer wanting to be invisible but just better than she had been in the past. Learning from her past mistakes, she humbled herself and not carrying herself as if she was bigger or more superior to anyone else. She engaged with and opened herself up to any and everyone who approached her and at times put herself out there to others when she could tell they were interested in getting to know her but were too hesitant to approach. She got involved in the school theater and even joined cheerleading as she was no longer afraid of what being in the social mix would cause as long as she continued to carry herself with modesty. In the end, her junior year had been overall pretty amazing and when school let out for the summer she was looking forward to returning in the fall. That was until she returned to Ohio from summer breaking in California with her dad and the rest of the Ellison brood and her mother informed her the student body of Liberty would be attending Rosefell as for reasons unknown their school had been closed down.
Mara was pissed. She'd consciously gone out of her way last year to avoid going to Liberty because she didn't want to attend a school with the kind of kids that went to a school like Liberty. She admittedly began considering her options. Possibly returning to California and attending a school out there, finding a different school in her current area, or just say the hell with it and do homeschooling. But, in the end, she ultimately knew she didn't want to leave Rosefell. It was senior year, and she wanted to go through it with the friends she had made the year before. So, while she is not happy about the situation at hand; she's decided to stick out and just pray for the best.

@fyeahmarvel Hey there! At this time, this RP is not accepting anymore female Liberty students. If you would like to somehow switch it up in Samara's history for her to be a Rosefell student heading into this school year, then I will accept her. Otherwise, I can put you on a waiting list if someone drops.
