There's no getting around it. Even Ares himself calls his son an asshole. Course, he's pretty proud of it, but that's not the point. Brandon isn't the touchy-feely type, and definitely won't ask you if you're okay when you get hurt. He'll tell you to rub some dirt in the wound and get back on your feet. The young man takes things a bit too seriously in life, and most definitely at camp. Brandon finds himself constantly in arguments and bare knuckle brawls, or even in some cases full-on duels. Brandon knows he's good at what he does, and likes to show off for the ladies. Women seem to be this boy's weakness, especially the daughters of Aphrodite. Seems Ares handed down more than just some godly powers to Brandon. He can be very charming to get what he wants, you'd almost think he was the Son of Aphrodite with the way this guy's game is. Brandon is very militant in his own way but doesn't necessarily care to police others or be a leader of anyone. He lets others, typically his other siblings or the Athena kids, take charge in matters dealing with battle strategies and such. He's not too fond of 'teamwork' but will resort to it if it benefits his own personal gain. Brandon also is a bit of a poor sport, not taking losses too well, he will inevitably try to start a fight.. or in the least case, yell at the winning team after Cap the Flag matches.

Biography:

No, Brandon never knew his mom. Least he doesn't remember so, but she did have him with her for the first couple years of his life before she came to the confusion that she just couldn't take care of Brandon the way he needed and gave him up for adoption. Being flopped around from home to home only fueled the boy's anger, feeling unwanted and alone. When the boy reached 9-years-old he was taken in by a 'family', and they brought him to the camp to live full-time. Someone finally had enough watching the poor boy get thrown from family to family and made the decision to intervene. Brandon spent years in the camp before Ares claimed him as his, though plenty of people had their opinions about the young boy just as soon as he'd come to camp. Brandon's always been a hothead but he definitely isn't a son of Hephaestus, that's for sure.

Mai was completly swept off her feet as she saw Teresa win first place and continued to do so after the tournament. Both women continued to see each other after the tournament. The reflection in the mirror didn't match the vision she had for herself. The short hair, the flat chest, the way her voice kept dropping. Her family supported her through it all. During her last year in service she met a man who shone brighter than any other she had ever seen. They clicked instantly. Both of them had a passion for history, war strategies, and she even introduced him to war strategy games. About a year later Sofia was pregnant with Elias. By then, she had slowly come to realise the man she had fallen for wasn't a normal human. After Elias's birth, Sofia had moved into her family's home in Dresden, where she raised Elias along with her grandparents. From a young age, she taught him how to fend for himself and his friends, raising the young boy under her own principles. Always protect those you care about and never give up. The little Ares boy began to show promising results, that was until his mood swings began to show. Around the age of 13, Elias would have extreme mood swings. He'd have periods of extreme productivity then crash as bad with depressive periods that would last months. With the help of his mother, Elias was able to seek the help he needed. Adding Bipolar Disorder and ADHD, and Dyslexia made Elias's childhood just a bit harder than other kids his age. Of course, being his mother's son Elias didn't let that stop him. He continued with his studies and began to play sports. It wasn't until he turned 15 that Sofia and Elias moved to New York in the pretense of a new job. Just a month in living in the city when his mother told Elias was enough to know the truth about his father. Before that, Elias had always wondered but never brought it up. Whenever his mother tried to talk to him about his father, he would ignore her or just walk away. Why would he want to hear of the man that had left his mother? The truth hurt more than the idea of his father being some idiot that left them. Elias would have been happy not knowing who, or what, his father was.
