Kyo was surprised to see another person in the room - he hadn't been paying a lot of attention when he had entered. Even more shocking to him was that the other person was Roxy. She didn't seem particularly murderous at the moment, though, so maybe they could actually talk. Closing the fans, he took out his paper, still slightly wary.
Thank you.

He was surprised yet again to find Marshal also in the room. How little attention had he been paying before?
It's something my mother used to do. He showed Roxy the paper, hoping she would translate.

Yeah, I suppose so. She mostly used it as a dance, but I saw her use it on people a few times. She taught me because she wanted to help me focus and relax.

"I get the focus part. Not sure about the relaxing part. But I suppose it could be. If you keep practicing you'll do better the next time we have a weapon fight." Roxy stated. She was jealous that Kyo had someone teach him such a beautiful style of fighting. The down side was Kyo could only effectively use the fans for close combat.

Kyo nodded, feeling encouraged by what Roxy said. If he could just get more practice in, perhaps he would do a lot better at defending himself in the future. He still wasn't sure how what he could do against something like Myra's whips, but he was sure he could figure it out eventually.

"I wonder if you could throw them." Roxy considered the fans. She had never seen anyone throw them, nor had she considered throwing anything like them. But if Kyo could get them to fly....it would be an amazing site.

Kyo thought about it. That would be pretty cool, and it could potentially solve any problems he would have with long-range attacks, but he didn't know exactly how that would work yet.
I could probably try. I doubt I would get any results for a while, though. I'll play around with it.
He opened one of the fans, examining it for a moment. Throwing them while closed would be easy enough to learn, if he could just improve his aim, but what if he could spin them through the air? That would probably be more effective, actually. Maybe if he threw it like a disk...

Marshal looked at roxy, everyone seemed afraid of her, he hoped she wasn't a bully he didn't want to have to fight but he wouldn't just stand around and watch someone get beat.

After placing Liz in her bed, Cenhelm decided to go to the gym to practice his powers. He thought of a way to win in the powers fight. He could trap the person in a water cube, and keep them in it until they pass out from lack of oxygen. He found a dummy that was around the size of most people here on the far side of the gym, where people probably couldn't see them. He could get the water cube, but the water cube wouldn't become big enough to fully trap the opponent. He then continued to practice.

As soon as the boys laid Liz down Katherin went into her room and made herself comfortable. She could already feel Liz's dreams reaching out to her. Katherin soothed the sleeping girls dreams making sure she would rest comfortably.
Roxy was satisfied with her work out. She still wished she had more then the little knife Jason gave her, but atleast her skills were still sharp. She wondered what time it was. Almost dinner time from the smell of it. So Roxy made her way down the stairs. Maybe if she could stay on the housekeepers good side she would get her knives back.

When marshal saw that the girl left he stood up and walked over to a heavy bag. He assumed a strage stance, his arms moving from covering his head to his mid section continuously, finally throwing a straight punch, his back leg pushed up and his forward one planted. The punching bag flew backwards a swung violently back and forth almost hitting marshal. Maybe he was strong then he thought.

Kyo was startled by the sound of the punching bag being hit. His eyes widened when he saw how far it flew and he stood still for a few seconds just watching it. He had seen that Marshal had quite a bit of muscle, but that hit still seemed disproportionately powerful. The thought of having to go up against that kind of strength was terrifying; surely he would be snapped like a twig. He made a mental note not to let him get too close in a fight.

Marshal swung wildly at the bag throwing kicks knees elbows and punches, he bounced around but planted his leading foot and pushed his back one when he hit, the bag seemed to go in a circle, his hands were red.

Cenhelm, after a few hours of non-stop training, could finally make a fairly big cube of water surrounding the opponent. After he was satisfied, he saw Roxy going downstairs. He looked out the window, and saw that it was getting somewhat dark, and was about dinner time. He went downstairs, and sat down at a table.

Kyo put away his fans and hurried to the dining room. The last thing he wanted was to make the housekeeper any more annoyed than she had been earlier today. Also, he had to admit that he was pretty hungry. Whatever was for dinner, he was certain he would be very happy with it.
