The co-gm and me reached a decision and we'd love to have you join the team!
You can post your sheets in the CS tab. We are finishing up interactions on the trip back to HQ. That will end episode two. There will be a timeskip of one week between episode two and three to ease your character's intro into the story. I'll make a OOC post detailing some important notes about that timeskip, after which episode three will immediately kick off.

In the meantime I can invite you to the discord if you send me your handle through pm.
You can chat up the other players to establish rapport between your characters, some key interactions that may have happened during that week etc. If you have any questions feel free to contact the co-gm and me at any time.
Looking forward to having you two be part of the YJ initiative!

EPISODE 3 GUYS!

Some important notes
❁ The team is dealing with the simultaneous loss of both Hex and Gold Rush.
❁ Black Canary has offered therapy sessions for those who need the mental support (spoiler Daphne was the first to apply)
❁ The League has recruited new recruits who are on a trial period to unofficially replace Hex and Gold Rush, in the event that they don’t return to the initiative.
❁ Batman was far from pleased at the way Brightheart engaged Kobra at La Hoya; both her and the entire squad B (including Rain) have received a tough love speech. Kobra is all but ensured they were attacked by a Tamaranian, warning them of hero involvement in their business. As a result they’ve gone even further under the radar.
❁ Metamorph wanted to help Nymph and taught her some meditation techniques to take back control whenever her powers act out.
❁ We're going for even more immersion and adding birthdays to the sheets too! You can add the birthday in the notes section of the CS

Also the co-gm has given us al a designation for use with the Zeta Tubes. If everyone could add these to their CS shortly that would be great. I'll add it to the template too, so you know where it's supposed to go.

Updated the OOC with some new information about posting turns/inactivity. We've set up a system to make sure we don't slow down too much as a group. These aren't any harsh rules or threats to kick you out, just a reminder to communciate.

Hi guys!

There is a second update on the posting turns. Since we've been slowing down a little recently I adjusted the rules some. It might seem harsh, but it's necessary to make sure we can keep the story going. I won't start with keeping tabs until this weekend, so everyone can start of with a blank slate.

Courtaud / Talon is currently inactive. His character will be controlled by the gm's, and will either remain as an NPC or exit the story at an appropriate time.

Update for the next episode. Episode 4 guys!!
There is a timeskip of two weeks between last episode and episode 4. Starting Monday I´ll give everyone a week to work on a collab to detail character development/scenes which have happened during the timeskip. After that I'll start episode 4 with a briefing and then it's go time!

Some additional story details to keep in mind going forward.
Talon's brainwashing reversed itself shortly after returning to HQ. He recovered his memories and was able to identify the supplier. Where at first it seemed like the Team failed the mission, it turned into a semi success. Batman was able to indentify a chemical responsible for Talon's strange behavior. A powerful modified pheromone harvested from a rare breed of orchid. He's tracking it to the source, in case the Team encounters it again.

Maya and Bex left the initiative. The Team didn't have much opportunity to build a relationship with either of them and they occupied themselves with life at HQ. Batman didn't inform the Team why they left but there was a heated discussion with both of their mentors. As of currently they have not been replaced.

Squid Game

Halfway into the season guys! Episode 5 has just started. First things first, I apologize for dropping the cliffhanger on you guys. If there any issues concerning your character/storylines you know you can always send us a message. I'm confident we can work things out.

Some important story details.
- I changed the date of the post to give us a bit more room to recover from last missions events.
- After the mission, an investigation was conducted in order to outline the events of the mission due to Dr. Bingley's controversial actions. He is currently detained in Atlantis.
- Most of the Team members went through potential traumatizing ordeals and were both physically and mentally hurt. Canary scheduled mandatory meetings for everyone to talk through the mission events/anything else that may come up.
- The more physically hurt heroes spent some time in the infirmary.
- Casper returned from the Spirit World about five days before the current IC post. (It would be June 18th)
- Talon left the initiative. A combination of his own perceived failures and potentially losing his first friend made him decide to take some time out of hero work.
- Daphne has been in a comatose state for a few days. The League along with the Martian Manhunter are looking for a way to free her. She is kept at the HQ in a small greenhouse.
