Giancarlo Esposito sure is good at acting.

The characters have more personality (protag included) than the past Far Cry games.

So the story so far is like...fine? I care enough about the conflict but less so about the lore and backstory.

I have not played a lot of games. But I will at some point.

Microsoft bought another company. (Activision/Blizzard) And all I see is how gleeful others have been in how this somehow screws over Sony.

Was every power-hungry asshole thing they did and said during the XboxOne era simply forgotten about? (Looking at console sales figures between the two companies, I guess not.) Still, why on earth is 'them having more power', a good thing?

And neither one of them has fixed their production issues. Which is frankly embarrassing.

But Sony is basically the diet coke of evil. So it's not like I have a side to root for here. It's just that I'm not cheering on monopolies growing larger, or for the obvious greater of two evils.

At least Halo doesn't suck again, I guess?

(I also have yet to hear about any new PS5 games that were worth it's 70 dollar price tag. But a lot of 'em sure are pretty lookin' aren't they?)

I'll always hate Microsoft for buying Rare, they took the dream of there ever being another Conkers Bad Fur Day or a Banjo Threeie and smashed those dreams into a thousand pieces and frankly I'm sad I won't see an official sequel to either in my life.

EDIT: And fuck you Bill Gates.

I've heard decent things about that one. But to me, it looked like "pretty Risk Of Rain 2" and I got that for fifteen bucks.

On a note when looking it up, it apparently just recently implemented a save feature. Because like half its negative Metacritic seem to be complaining that the roguelike game is a roguelike. (And it crashes a lot, which is far more understandable and quite potentially the systems' fault. Because I know that all too well with my PS4.).

But hey, if you've never played Risk Of Rain 2. Maybe give it shot, and you'll like it too.

Been playing Unite despite having zero experience in MOBAs. That said, it's fun. Most of my playtime is a Cramorant build dedicated entirely to denial. Start with Whirlpool, then Feather Dance (FD is practically useless since you probably won't be fighting other players prior to level 4 when you upgrade FD). After that, pick Hurricane and Surf for upgrades. I suppose you can go for Air Slash instead, but Hurricane is much better, IMO. Dive is useless since you want to stay away from opponents, especially things like Zeraora that'll shred right through you.

Rainbow Six Extraction was much better than I thought, a lot of good design choices in my opinion that helps sell the game to me. Chiefly the health carrying through incursions and the MIA system can allow for some intense moments. But there is no friendly fire so Doc can't accidentally kill a teammate and Fuze can't Fuze hostage which kinda sucks. but then again if Fuze can't Fuze hostage then that means bad news for the Archæans...

I played about three hours of Legends Arceus and it is now ridiculously clear that Sword and Shield were 60 dollar proofs of concept.

It remains to be seen if the next gen of games will be more like this but I'm not sure I'd want that because Legends Arceus seems to think the catching of Pokemon is the thing that I like about Pokemon but I assure you, catching 20 fucking Buizel to find one that is tall enough for a quest is not what I come to Pokemon for

I have played even more Legends Arceus

I have a lot of nitpicky complaints (why can't I just give the inventory expansion guy a flat sum of money to boost my inventory by however much it costs since having to do it one at a time is fucking stupid) and the game is really, really flat but I dunno, it's weird and I find myself just veging out and chucking fruit at dudes to smack them with my big heavy black balls to make an arbitrary number go up so it has that going for it.

The only thing I would want future gens to take from this game are a more realized open world (none of this gated zone shit) and the ability to just always be able to pay someone to teach my Pokemon moves and having the ability for them to swap moves on the fly no hassle.

But as this is GameFreak I assume the next gen Pokemon game will carry over nothing and disappoint everyone all over again

I'm playing Warframe again. For some reason. (It's because my friends are into it too.) I guess it's better than its more popular counterpart Destiny 2. But it's my only defense for the game that I can muster.

Because f*ck me the in-game currency is overly expensive and needed for everything.

Dude add me, I literally have nothing better to do than try to grind. Btw you can just do Relic grinding for free plat. Literally I made 25p by selling relics for 1p a piece and people flooded me with messages.

Switch at the moment. (So if you're on the Switch, sure. PM your friend code or something. (Apparently at some point it will be cross platform. But I don't think it is yet.)

But I just spent over two fucking hours trying to catch fish on Deimos. (Since its the only free roam place that seems to ever actually spawn fish.) And my Switch just froze/crashed on me. So bye bye to all of my progress. The 2nd day in a row I've lost hours of resources to free room. Fuck my life.

I just want the damn fish oil to make this damned archwing thing for fuck sake.
