Tell us about yourself: My sister tells me I should just say (A Krysa glyph representing manic energy) for this. I think she’s joking. But I do things fast and I don’t like to sit still. I’m hard to put down.

Work history: I’m Krysa. We do a lot of science here. My science tends to explode, sometimes on purpose. Don’t worry, though – the explosions are mostly controlled. I’m mostly careful. And anyway, explosions mean progress! They're basically how steam engines work, you know.

Tools you are skilled with: You know how if you focus light it can burn things? I’ve been playing with that lately. I don’t think my prototypes are strong enough, though, so I’ll bring a big hammer and a high-powered shotgun. Do you know what a shotgun is? I can show you if there's something you don't mind me destroying.

Occult Knowledge: I don’t think magic likes me, personally, but I know some designs and materials that it likes. I use it with some of my inventions for energy amping and such. I bet I can guess how your catalysts work.

Relevant Abilities: "I'm a line cook, so yeah, I'm good at taking orders. Goes without saying that I can cook and clean up afterwards too. By the way, 'Cookie' is just the name the line guys gave me, baking cookies isn't really my thing, just so you know. Combat abilities? Wait a minute... This isn't exactly just chef training, is it? I'm in over my head now, aren't I? Dammit. But I get to be a full-blown chef in the end, right? Okay, fine. Does chasing out thugs with a knife or a meat hammer count?"

Tell us about yourself: "I'm already here, so might as well. Grandma always told me to go for it, so that's why she was fine with me leaving our tavern out in the sticks to work here in the city. So when I overheard a pair of patrons loudly praising me ('the fine young women of your kitchen' in their words) to our head chef for dishes I didn't even prepare all by myself, I should've been suspicious right then and there. But as soon as they mentioned they were Fiore retainers looking for candidates for their 'girls-only apprenticeship program,' my boss, ever-hungry for prestige, didn't hesitate to put me on indefinite leave and sent me over here. Yeah, just me. I'm the only girl on our line, you see."

Work history: "Mom and Dad are always away doing who knows what for the Empire and they rarely visit if at all, so it fell on my dear old grandmother to raise me. She brought me up on stories of knights-errant going around the Empire putting things right. Don't know why it had to be those kinds of stories and not much else, but when I told her that I wanted to be a knight of the realm too, her eyes grew wide like you wouldn't believe and she told me not to talk about things like that ever again. Naturally, neither did she. She told me I should make a really good name for myself in modern, non-confrontational ways instead, like being a highly-rated chef and eventually running my own place, maybe even work for some royals if I get really, really good at it. As soon as I got old enough, she started training me and putting me to work in our little tavern. Before long, my shepherd's pie was the talk of the town, and my old boss happened to be in town visiting some relatives. Most people would disapprove and call what he did 'poaching,' but Grandma didn't mind at all, saw it as a 'graduation' even. She was really beside herself with pride the day I left our quiet little burg to join the kitchen staff of no less than Chez Bois-Joli."

Occult Knowledge: "Let's see... I heard that my great-uncle Stanislaus was a witch hunter, fancy hat and all. Or should that be 'is'? Nobody's heard from him in quite a long time, you see. Other than that, nada. When it comes to things known to tempt demons, my people think it's better to be safe than sorry."

Nila is actually rather new to the maid thing, and by rather new this is her first. Coming from a wealthy family Nila's knowledge on household chores and serves are very limited, however, her family's name came from demon-hunting. Her most prominent battle tatics are ranged attacks (particularly with her self-made weapon she dubs the 'Stabbow') but she has basic skills with a blade. Her knowledge on actual demons is very little.

I love a good story! And creating new easy ways around things! I don't very much care for academics but what use is that in housework and killing baddies, right?"
Nila is full of vigour and life. She's a very chirpy and happy-go-lucky young lady. She tends to have oodles of motivation for the things that interest her but anything she finds uninteresting or not worth her time she will stubbornly avoid it. When it comes to things she has no interest in but has to do Nila likes taking a path of least resistance, showing her to be extremely lazy but also very inventive, even if those ideas are just making more work for herself or even straight down delusional.

Nila is very sweet and funloving. She doesn't take anything in life seriously at all and seems to almost live in constant self-inflicted naivety about the state of the world or her own life. She is always up for a chat and giggle and will never let her friends visit without tea amd baked goods.

Flung into this world in a magical mishap the first of the Zylan bloodline in this world made a name for himself as a prized hunter, bringing tactics and weapons unknown to the mortal realm. With time the Zylans came more and more 'humanized' in their ways but after generations of hunting the family moved on to hunting the evil creatures that plagued the lands. Between their warrior ways and their fae knowledge it didn't take long for the family to become renowned in demon hunting.

From a young age Nila was trained in Demon Hunting and Demons. The fact of the manner, however, was she retained nothing. She didn't care for what type of creature did what and was weak to what, all she really cared about was 'go out and shoot it to death'. This made her very ineffective in someways but her naivety-born bravery gave her advantage in other ways (even if those other ways nearly ended with her as a human meat shield).

Despite her vigour, tensions between Nila and her father came tight as he wanted Nila to be prepared to take on the family name but she showed no interest in actually learning about the craft. Eventually he cut her off, telling her to prove herself by making her own way in the demon-hunting world

Stabbolt is Nila's prized posession. A beautifully crafted, yet mechanically simple, simple crossbow with 3 dagger-like blades afixed to it- one near the end of ea h limb of the crossbow and one at end of the cocking stirrup- all 3 facing forward ready to stab the remain life out of its target.
