Conjuration (7): The first of Rowans powers to manifest, he is strongest in the school of Conjuration.
Rowan has been blessed with electricity, wind, and water control.
The lightning that Rowan shoots from his hands is light green in color, and has a range of fifty feet. He can also use this electricity as a shield around himself for up to ten minutes. He cannot use the spell offensively and defensively at the same time.
Storm Bringer: During intense times of battle, Rowan has been known to be able to combine his powers and start large thunderstorms where lightning strikes his enemies and rainfall makes it hard for anyone to see. He is working on controlling this immense power, as it does take a lot out of him.
Transmutation (5:) Through transmutation, Rowan can call metals from the earth to him, and craft them into weapons and shields. He can also mend weapons, heal people, and blend in with his surroundings.
Metal working: Rowan has a sixth sense for knowing when he is around precious metals and gems. He can call them to him, and weld them in his hands to become what he wishes. He can also use them in their raw forms as large shields.
Healing: Just like mending weapons, Rowan can mend people. He can stop blood flow, close up wounds, and mend bones. He cannot bring anyone back from a life saving injury, but he can prolong the inevitable.
Chameleon: While most transmutations can change the appearance of themselves or those around them, Rowan has been blessed with the ability to blend in with his surroundings. Much like a chameleon, Rowans skin can change colors and textures to make him virtually invisible.
Born and raised in Tanner Washington, Rowan was the only child in a very loving family. While his immediate household was small, Rowan had a family full of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Holidays were very warm, cozy, and crazy. He has strong southern roots, with most of his family originating from Louisiana, Georgia, and Alabama. Rowans mother was a powerful witch - his father a warlock. The Gale family has never been looked at as the strongest or most powerful out there - but they are useful.
Rowans school life was easy enough. While he didn't care for his studies, retaining the information came naturally to him and helped him to get good grades. In high school, Rowan was on the football and wrestling teams. He dropped out of wrestling at the start of Junior year to focus on football full time. Rowan stared on the team as an offensive lineman his whole high school career. Girls came and went, but Rowan never really focused on them. Rather than seeking love out, it always seemed as if love was seeking Rowan instead. He never really had much interest in the games that came along with short lived relationships, and chose to focus on sports instead.
Getting a full ride to multiple universities for an athletic scholarship, it didn't take long for Rowan to turn them all down - much to his parents disappointment. Rowan has worked for his families logging company since the age of sixteen, and saw no reason in going to college to make less money. He put more of his time into his blacksmithing, woodworking and crafts. Eventually, he gained a good enough following online to get some of his pieces sold and displayed in famous peoples houses, museums and the like. He has spent the last few years in Tanner the same way he has enjoyed the rest of his life - peacefully in the outdoors.

Invocation (7) Tristan has a flare for combining use of elements with other destructive spells. The elements that he first found himself mastering had been fire and water*ice* Fire Storm: Has the ability to summon and control a Fire-storm. It'll literarily be raining fire, in around a 60feet radius around him. Anything, or anyone in that radius will be effected and catch a-flame from the raining fire. Power is very draining, as it's requires lots of concentration and channelling to keep the magic flowing. Can last up to half an hour, until concentration is lost/or energy of magic caster is weakened. Frostbite: Requires close contact with target. His fingertips will turn immensely cold. A single touch, will inflict frostbite to enemy. Can use this ability on 2 in unison. Prolonged contact with target, will lengthen the duration of the spell. Water manipulation: Tristan had manipulate water in most ways he sees fit; whether it's creating a big chunk of ice, freezing a lake, summoning a 30ft wave or creating icy weapons. He can also temporarily encase an enemy in an icy prison. Two enemies at once can be trapped. The spell lasts until Tristan or other Witch/Warlock with the same ability breaks the spell. Or he uses that ability on a third person. Cone of Cold/Wortex: Summons a very ice-cold air in the form of a 30ft cone in front of him. On a naturally windy day, it can sometimes shift into a ice-cold vortex. The Vortex does on occasion allow whomever is trapped within it, to hover mid-air. Magic Missile: Manipulates magical energy into the form of shooting missiles. Can control 3 at a time. Magical missiles fly up to 130 yards. Limited by how many missiles he can create per minute. His record had been 6 in a minute; before he was unable to use the spell for a while.
History/Bio: Born and raised in Tanner, Tristan is the eldest of 4 children to Alaric Pearson (Magi) and Emma Pearson (Warlock). Magic being in his blood. When Tristan was 3 years old; his mother gave birth to twin boys. Then another 2 years later after the twins, followed the birth of the baby of the family. Tristan's little sister. The Pearson family had lived in Tanner, for centuries; having differently skilled witches and warlocks born into the family. Most witches and warlocks in the Pearson family focused on Illusion and Abjuration magic. Tristan being the first in many decades that showed a promising future towards Invocation magic. The Pearson's being quiet a wealthy family; so all of Alaric and Emma's children didn't have to want for much, growing up. Both saving up funds for all four of their children.
As the Pearson siblings grew up; Tristan took magic out of them most seriously. The twins never showing much interest in trying to hone and learn about their magical abilities. Once his sister got older, she showed promise to learning quickly, but still falling behind her big brother. Tristan himself being a quick learner and at times liking to experiment with his abilities/spells/potions, what have you. If someone's missing something; chances are that Tristan knows where it is, or can provide it.
From the age of 18 to 22, he spent in New York getting decent higher education. Eventually getting a degree in science. Mainly as a back-up plan, if he ever decided to pursue a science career. But because of his natural attunement to magic, his parents expected him to work for the coven. Despite the cushy fund they gathered up over the years for him and his siblings; Tristan took a part time job in Tanner's well known and popular diner. Not wanting to entirely rely on his parents. It's been like that for the past 4 years. Being happily independent and only dipping into the fund when needed.

Illusion (4) Lydia's magic has always been weaker than that of her brother Tristan. Mainly because she never had the discipline to learn more. But she does have a few useful spells up her sleeve. She's slowly trying to better her magic, due to her brother and parent's constant nagging. Holograms: Lydia can create up to 2 holograms in the shape of herself or her allies. Used as decoys during a fight. Hologram can act like the specific person it's modelled after. It can even chase after a target, if one wishes it to. But the timing of the spell doesn't last long, due to the weakness of her overall power. Blindness: Lydia can manipulate the colours of a target's vision. Putting them under temporary illusion of being blind. Spell can last up to 5 minutes.
History/Bio: The youngest of the Pearson family; Lydia is the most spoilt of the Pearson children. Being a very much mommy and daddy's girl. But also somewhat spoiled and protected by her eldest brother. Growing up, Lydia had always been the closest to Tristan. The twins being the annoying brothers, whilst Trist has always been the protective, caring big brother. Lydia like many members of the family has control over Illusion magic. But it's considered to be quiet weak; having fallen behind in her magical training. Lydia's always had short attention span when it came to learning more about her magic. She'd much rather be off doing something 'fun' and getting into somewhat dangerous situation; finding it more thrilling than magic itself. Being energetic and somewhat of the wild child, she knows how to keep everyone on their toes with her constant vibrant energy/personality.
Over the years, she has grown used to her parents paying for everything and having large sums of money saved up for each of her siblings and herself. Not lifting a finger much, with how much she's spoilt. Often spending her funds on pampering herself and her friends. When she's not trying to learn more about her magic (which is rarely), or getting into some sort of trouble. Lydia can be seen doodling and scribbling in her notebooks. Having a fondness for writing and art; her parents have hired her a private tutor hoping that she can have some sort of a decent education outside of a college degree. Her parents figured, if she's not going to college, then they could at least realise her talents as an artist. Hoping that she'll make something off herself; sooner rather than later.
Whilst Lydia has grown used to everyone nagging her about her magic among other things; she secretly hates herself for not being better than she is. Knowing she's not perfect, she's trying to change her ways; before it's too late. But it's not proving an easy task for her when most people she knows seems so far ahead of her when it comes to magic.
Misc: Parents hired a private tutor for her, instead of sending her to college. Allergic to nuts and kiwi's. Looks up to her brother and certain members of the coven; secretly wishing she could be more like them.
Greater Invisibility - Kirstie or someone she touches becomes invisible until the spell ends. Anything the target is wearing or carrying is invisible as long as it is on the target's person
Mental Prison - Kirstie attempts to bind a creature within an illusory cell that only it perceives, making the area immediately around the target’s space appear dangerous to it in some way. She might cause the target to perceive itself as being surrounded by fire, floating razors, or hideous maws filled with dripping teeth. Whatever form the illusion takes, the target can’t see or hear anything beyond it and is restrained for the spell’s duration. If the target is moved out of the illusion, makes an attack through it, or reaches any part of its body through it, the target takes psychic damage, and the spell ends.
Mirror Image - Three illusory duplicates of Kirstie appear around her. Until the spell ends, the duplicates move with her and mimic her actions, shifting position so it's impossible to track which image is real.
Conjuration
Black Tentacles - Squirming, ebony tentacles fill a 20-foot square on the ground. When a person enters the affected area for the first time it takes damage and is restrained by the tentacles until the spell ends. A creature that starts its turn in the area and is already restrained by the tentacles takes damage
Cloud of Daggers - Kirstie summons a swarm of spinning daggers in 5ft cube. Anyone caught in the cube or entering it will take damage from the daggers.
Conjure Barrage - Kirstie throws an item, weapon or projection (i.e a bullet) into the air. Once it reaches the height of the throw, duplicates of the item appear in a cone above Kirstie. These items then fire forward upto 60 feet infront of her, striking anyone in the way. After the spell the duplicate items disappear.
Divination
Augury - Using ornate cards, Kirstie can ask the spirits for information about the outcome of something specific in the next 30 minutes.
Locate Creature - Kirstie can locate any person or creature that she knows if they are within a mile of Kirstie. She can also locate the nearest of a different species (I.E Magi, Werewolves) so long as she is aware of them.
Fortune’s Favour - Kirstie can infuse luck into a person she touches, including herself. For the next hour the person finds that lady luck is always on their side.
B A C K G R O U N D
Born into the more affluent area of Tanner, Kirstie wasn't left wanting for anything growing up. Her mother was a lawyer working mostly in Seattle and her father owned one of the local doctors surgeries. Due to their demanding schedules, alot of Kirstie's upbringing was done by nannies and childminders.
In school, Kirstie managed to raise her social profile to become the 'queen bee', climbing to the top of the social pyramid as Captain of the Cheerleaders. Always in charge of the most elite social circle, Kirstie relished in using her power to say what was hot and what was not, people's entire popularity lived and died by her word. As she grew up into her teen years, she was so used to people saying yes to her whether it was at home or at school, that the word 'no' seemingly dropped out her lexicon.
She knew that she would eventually begin developing powers. After discovering that she could divine and create illusions, she realised that the system was open to abuse. Being able to predict or even outright see certain events in the future helped. The only issue was that she ended up making enemies of other fellow diviners. It was at this point Kirstie realised that her visions were only accurate if people didn't meddle in events. And other diviners were experts at knowing exactly what to mess with.
She was too popular to be taken down, but her final few years was a battle, she tried to apply herself to her magical studies for the first time, but couldn't quite pick it up as well as others. Therefore she was always being outplayed on the magical chessboard. Still, at least the preppy girls of Tanner High followed her like their lives depended on it. Well, their social lives did depend on it.
Kirstie wasn't exactly keen to go to university, but went to uni at Seattle and chose a simple Social Studies degree. Away from her normal social circles, Kirstie struggled to make new friends, as uni students weren't as manipulative as high school girls. She returned to Tanner with a slightly bruised ego, more so that she now has to work for the Coven.

Kirstie is a woman who radiates confidence. Always believing in herself and ger abilities, beleiving she has what it takes no matter the situation. Despite this she is a fairly responsible person. Being the Cheer Captain taught her a it the duties she needed to do to the school and the squad. Even if she would moan about doing them. At times that responsibility can manifest itself only if she personally gains from the situation.
There are times where she can hyperfocused; throwing away everything else in an attempt to get her chosen task completed. This can be of tremendous benifit, but only if the correct taka is selected, otherwise it comes to the detriment of everything else. She is working on trying to learn how to choose what she focuses on to be more for her benifit rather than random chance. Despite her snobbish and brash persona, she does actually care for those closest to her. She will never show it to them or admit it. But behind the scenes she would pull strings to make sure that they were safe and protected.

Kirstie can be a vicious woman when she needs to be. She prefers not to be physical however and instead use physiological methods instead. She can also be a selfish woman, who puts her own needs instead of others.
Courtesy of her upbringing she has a fairly snobish streak in her. She distains interacting with those that she thinks of as having a lower social status than her. Her confidence came come across as arrogance at times, as she doesn't take the time to listen to anyone else's views or opinions. This has blown up in her face numerous times. Sonic Scream: Reyna has the ability to let out a high frequency scream, causing those around her to become disoriented. In some instances, this can inflict pain - especially those times she’s made peoples ear drums burst.
Emotional Manipulation: Reyna can pretty much make you feel anything and everything that she wants to. In order for this to work, you must be able to hear whatever Reyna is saying. This ability can work on up to five people. The young woman also enchants her music with her magic.
Memory Manipulation: With this ability, Reyna has the ability to reach into other people's minds and read their thoughts. It’s easier to do this with passing thoughts, but Reyna can also dig around to find what she wants when given enough time. This isn’t a power that Reyna uses often, as it leaves her in a completely frozen and vulnerable state. Once in your mind, Reyna can find a memory and alter it to be either good or bad in your mind. She can also create false memories and implant them there. Other high level Enchantment mages have been known to kick Reyna out of their minds and back into her own. This ability only works on one target, and leaves Reyna with a splitting headache afterwards.
Synchronicity: Reyna can curse or gift people with a few simple words. The blessings and downfalls are often simple ones unless you really piss her off. When in Reynas' favour, every stop light will be green, you’ll have money and love coming your way, etc. If you're cursed - well that means the opposite. Reyna can only bless/curse one target at a time.
The young woman also has the ability to make things appear different than they are. She can enchant objects, people, and places to look as if they are something/someone different. Again, this can only work on one object/person at a time. She can also bless and curse objects.
Shape shifting: A more intense version of her enchantment magic, not only can Reyna change minor things about her and other peoples appearances - she can look like someone or something else completely.
Sin Magic (7): The Rosales family has always worked very closely with one particular deity - Santa de la Muerte. In every Rosales home, there has been an alter for Santa Muerte. She has looked over the family for many generations, and now Reyna has chosen to work even closer with her. Through Sin Magic, Reyna can do many things - all pertaining to the Seven Deadly Sins.
Envy: Reyna can suppress other's magic, deflect it, or even 'absorb' the spell so that it becomes her own.
Gluttony: A bit of a 'fun' spell, Reyna can emotionally manipulate people to become extremely hungry or thirsty, forcing them to gorge themselves to the extreme.
Greed: Reyna inflict people with this emotional feeling as well, making them crave money, fame, love, etc to a near point of insanity.
Lust: Another ability that's mainly used for fun, Reyna can make two people lust after each other so strongly to a point where they forget everything else for the time being. She must be able to see both targets the whole time that this spell is underway. Once the illusion is dropped, the natural relationship between the two targets will remain and resurface.
Pride: Reyna can make one target at a time extremely over confident in their abilities and capabilities. Too scared to go cliff diving? Now you're not.
Sloth: Laziness is a curse all by itself. With this ability, Reyna can summon three, slow moving 'mud creatures' to do her bidding. They are tough creatures, and about as smart as a rock - but they can be used to help her gather supplies, distract enemies, and other such things.
Wrath: In times of great distress, anger, etc, Reyna can channel whatever overwhelming emotion she is feeling into a glowing ball of energy to be used in defensive spells.
Evocation (5): Reyna specializes in and water/ice manipulation, though she can access other elements just like Evocation users.

A warm personality and a genuine smile makes Reyna one of the more approachable people in Tanner. With a loud, outgoing, down to earth, live in the moment personality, it’s easy to see why she makes friends so quickly and has so many.
Sarcastic and blunt, Reyna has never had a problem telling people like it is. She has no time for fake people, fake words, or bullshittery in general. She’s the type of person to be the problem, and also end the problem.
Reyna has often been called a ‘Menace’ - often listening to her most impulsive thoughts and only thinking about what feels good in the moment. She’s loud, abrasive, and at times - just plain fucking insane. Her views on the world often don’t align with others, though she has no problem sharing said thoughts.

History/Bio:
Reyna is the youngest of three siblings, and the only girl. Her home life has always been great, as she was lucky enough to be blessed with a loving family. Being the baby of the family, Reyna was spoiled - perhaps just a little worse than her siblings. Regardless of her parents' affection, they instilled strong morals into Reyna - especially her work ethic. Growing up in her family's restaurant, Reyna slept on a cot behind the counter until she was old enough to walk around and help out. Once she was old enough, Reyna began washing dishes, eventually helping out in the kitchen, and working her way up through serving and bartending as well. Family gatherings were a common thing while Reyna was growing up. Her closest cousin - Tessa - was more like a sister to Reyna than everything.
School was easy for Reyna, as book work came to her naturally. Her personality made it easy for her to make both friends and enemies, with Reyna being accepted into most social circles. She began partying in her Sophomore year, and the entire party girl persona had taken over by Junior year. Reyna had managed to graduate with a decent GPA, and spent the summer after graduating learning how to manage her families restaurant business on paper.
When winter rolled around, Reyna found herself living with her cousin Tessa in Palm Beach Florida. Reyna had always imagined herself going off to college, but as her fathers health took a turn for the worst, she moved back home to Tanner shortly after her twenty-second birthday. Taking over the management of Mi Casa - a local Hispanic restaurant & her families business - this is where you can now find Reyna if she isn't writing music or surfing.
Reyna's hobbies include: surfing, writing poetry, collecting old records, spending time at the beach, hiking, and dancing. She's excellent at the tango, salsa, rumba and bachata. She also dances freestyle to hip pop.

Personality: Clara is a extremely energetic, she seems to be constantly bouncing from one thing to another, unable to keep her mind or body still. She seems to always have a couple of hyperfixations at anytime that she can and will spout random facts about, sometimes and not so appropriate times. She is naturally a very curious and inquisitive person but she doesn't quite understand social cues often leading her to step over boundaries and create awkward situations. Clara does have a big heart and cares a lot for the people around her.
Clara seems to still have a childlike naivety and whimsy to her that may lead to many to believe she's simple-minded but Clara is actually very intelligent, just not so much wise. She can be rather impulsive and lacks a lot of awareness, often walking herself into a lot of trouble. She is rather eccentric, she genuinely doesn't care how she's perceived so will often make bold choices without a care. She's not all that sensitive but it's hard to know if she genuinely isn't bothered by anything or doesn't full process the meanings behind some insults. Clara is also very creative; her outlets lie in many forms she's picked up over the years but the main ones she's kept up with is writing and playing songs on her guitar and painting.
History/Bio: Although Clara's maternal family had been in Tanner for many generations they were never really a prominent family. While they were ever-present in the coven and their doings they were never in the spotlight or given much pull over the coven, and that's just how they liked it. After a struggle to conceive Pheobe and Jacob were over the moon to welcome Clara into the world.
From her most formative years Clara was an extremely active child. She seemed to constantly have pools of energy, more so than many of her peers, however, she didn't utter a word before 5 years old. She also tended to keep mainly to herself in the playground, seeming to prefer her own company most of the time. As she got older that disinterest seemed to turn more into a struggle to make friends as she seemed to be unable to work out unspoken boundaries and social cues. Clara learnt to be content in her loneliness at this time, part of her was never really bothered by it, she was often wrapped up in her latest fixation. She jumped from one thing to another like a 'hobbies dolphin' as her mother would put it.
Clara really struggled in school. Although part of her enjoyed learning she struggled to stay on task, her mind often getting distracted and the classroom environment often made her overwhelmed. She was very quickly singled out as a kid who needed help in school, that help often coming in the form of easier worksheets and more input from her teacher. ll the while, her younger sister was constantly top of her class. All this left Clara feeling like she was stupid which led to her slacking off on her studies and rinse and repeat. That all changed when Clara's power started coming in.
Clara was 15 when she first exhibited signs of her powers, namely her illusion magic. She became absolutely enthralled by her magic, not so much on strengthening it but on the how it works. Clara spent hours and hours into researching amd questioning in an attempt to understand it. In this she found not only did she know more than she thought but she actually enjoyed studying.
After Sophomore year Clara dropped out of school and worked in her family's game shop until she was 18. She took a couple of remedial courses to get into college and went on to study a bachelor of science majoring in human biology in attempt to understand how magic works. Unlike school, Clara excelled greatly in college as she had more freedom over her study. After finishing college Clara returned to working the game shop, taking occasional trips to other covens to network amd learn more of what they know.

Despite having such dark abilities, Willow is actually very bubbly and lighthearted. She is very laid back and kind, always generous and can be a people pleaser. Willow is very authentic and true to herself. She believes in equality and justice for all mankind.
Willow is a huge animal lover and will stop her car for any and all animal crossings. She is definitely the type of person who will stop traffic, get out of her vehicle, and help a turtle cross the road.
When she is crossed, all her niceties fly out the window. She can be headstrong and ruthless in the face of a threat. Willow will stand up for any and all who need help.
History/Bio:
Grew up as an only child to witches Miriam and David Shernock in Tanner. The trio has never resided anywhere else, as her parents wanted her to grow up completely surrounded by the coven. After having discovered how dark their daughter's powers could be, Miriam quit her job as a Hospice nurse to make sure she grew up in a happy and loving environment. David continued on as a lawyer, mainly working for the cult.
During high school and despite her loving and caring nature, Willow was an outcast. She was the hippie child who was always playing with strays. She had a tremendous soft spot for anything that was mistreated or harmed.
After graduation she was finally able to get out of the city. She attended Harvard university to follow in her father's footsteps, then quickly realized that law wasn't her passion. Willow then went on to study social work and graduated at the top of her class. She returned home after college to open up her own little clinic where she helps those suffering from substance abuse.

In this method, he has to imbibe wine mixed with someone's blood to conjure the spirits of his family. From there, they speak through him as to the future which awaits someone. The trick is, he doesn't remember what he says. He's even tried recording it, and the video goes to static. And he cannot divine on himself, as he doesn't bleed. What he says can reflect what will happen in the near future or a hundred years from now. There's no set timeline. He also speaks in rhyme and metaphors.
ABJURATION ▮▮▮▯▯ ⋮ ▯▯▯▯▯ Nondetection ⋮ He can block someone from being able to find him using any form of location spell. This doesn't stop them from being able to open Twitter, but fortunately, he doesn't have much of an internet presence.
NECROMANCY ▮▮▮▮▮ ⋮ ▮▮▯▯▯ Inflict Wounds ⋮ First and foremost, this is not how the Xenakis family operates. This is magic that he gleaned after his soul was placed into a soul jar. The person that he is affecting has to look him in the eyes and hear the words he saying, but after that, he is able to use this power to tether their bodies and inflict wounds. Whatever he does to himself will be duplicated onto them. The spell is broken if he is overcome with pain, after ten minutes, or if it is counterspelled. He can't make the wounds fatal, for if he dies the spell is broken before it reaches who it is supposed to influence, but he can make it hurt. Vicissitude ⋮ This spell can only be used upon the dead, but technically Pallas is dead. He can change the shape of his body by crafting his flesh and bone into different forms. This can range from hiding injuries that he has sustained that haven't killed him but would be worrying for anyone to see, to elongating his finger bones into sharpened claws, to giving himself sharpened teeth, to causing his ulna bone to leave his body and extend into a scythe-like blade. It's akin to turning one's body into a literal weapon. He mostly just uses it to reform himself, but it does mean he's never weaponless. It does ask if you want to hear him grunt in pain while he turns his thumb into a knife. It's immensely painful, and the limitations are within the realm of what a body can do.
SOUL JAR Pallas has put his soul into a magical jar, allowing his body to become undead and basically unkillable. He can survive without air, food, or water. He's also immune to poison and sleeping potions, but not to the magic that induces this. He's also strong against the cold and ice magic, but in return is very vulnerable against fire, magic or not. This power comes with a lot of caveats, though. First, if the jar is destroyed, his soul will return to him rapidly aging him to his actual age (which will mean death). Second, if the jar falls into hands that are not his own, that person has power over him. Third, while he is unkillable he has to have time, and all his parts, to mend his dead body to "come back to life." If he's incinerated, it may take hundreds of years for him to come back together without assistance. If he's decapitated, again, and someone makes off with his head--he won't come back to life until it's met back with the rest of his body. There are reasons that there are large gaps between his appearances in Tanner, and some of them have to do with dealing with an undead body.
Pallas is the sort that brings cocaine to a book club meeting, wine to an intervention, and weed to a hospital. He truly doesn't understand social norms in this regard. He'd rather be halfway to the moon dragging someone with him than actually be a responsible adult. It's hard to take things seriously when you've seen so much and been through even more.
Like your bachelor uncle, he has stories about all of his travels and adventures. He always brings gifts. And will take you out to ice cream despite your parents' objection. He's also not judgemental and a shoulder to lean on when you're feeling bad. Because whatever you think you've done that you can't come back from, he's probably done worse.
Pallas is aware of his shortcomings, and he's more than happy to joke about them in a straightforward manner. No one is going to get under his skin by seeing all the chinks in his armor. He's prone to laughing about it, self-deprecating even harder. Pallas is what rock bottom looks like in a suit and a tie.
He also has a tendency to use out-of-date terms for things the he doesn't know the modern equivalent of.

The Xenakis family came from Greece in the late-1800s to early-1900s. They settled in Tanner, Washington after hearing that it was a safe haven for witches and warlocks alike. To ask why the Xankis family left Greece, they'd just laugh and say that had a "disagreement" with the Ottoman Empire. Though the Balkan War was on the horizon, bloodshed and death were on the horizon. The Xenakis were old-school fortune tellers. They had sat at the side of sultans, politicians, and even prominent criminal organizations.
Ionas and Polina Xenakis were the heads of the family and had three children: Dimitrios, Micial, and Nicolaos. Other members of the Xenakis family came with them, including Ionas's brother, wife, and children. Though, they were half-blooded. Though the Xenakis were not the sort to treat them as secondary citizens, they were not allowed to be the head of the family. A few years after arriving, Ionas and Polina had their fourth and last child--Pallas. And then shortly after that, their house caught aflame while the three elder children were visiting their uncle. Ionas, Polina, and Pallas all lost their lives, or at least that is the story.
Twenty years later, Pallas returned to Tanner and to the few remaining members of his family. They were more than ecstatic to have the prodigal son back, but they were less happy to have the sentient piece of hedonistic trash that he'd become. He promised to change his ways if they taught him the family way of divination. He'd inherited the family power of being able to glimpse into the future, but it was wildly untrained. They agreed, showing him the old arts of abjuration to hide himself and more methodic divination than his sporadic portence. What the family didn't know was that he'd made a living as a con artist, and he'd pissed off a very powerful witch of a very powerful coven in New York by stealing a valuable artifact.
Surprisingly, years passed in peace. No comeuppance was delivered to him, and he assumed that he'd hidden himself perfectly from his actions. He studied hard to catch up with his cousins along with dipping his toes into some of the darker practices that they'd brought from the Ottoman Empire. Pallas even met a young girl in town that he fancied. Things were looking--up.
That was until his family found him decapitated in his room one morning, the artifact having been stolen back. They buried him next to his parents and mourned his loss--again. One year later, he woke up. His family had reconnected his head before his burial, and it'd taken that long for him to "heal." Pallas was surprised about this before he panicked at the realization of how it happened. The ancient artifact that he'd stolen from the family was a soul jar, and he'd successfully put his soul into it. It was what he'd been researching in the older tomes. He'd thought it would be a way to protect himself if the coven came for him. It'd worked, but now he didn't have his soul jar.
So, Pallas left the quaint town of Tanner once again. This time he'd be gone for thirty years, showing back up again having gotten a good lead on his soul jar. He showed up one morning, drinking their tea, eating their biscuits, and promptly scaring the shit out of them. He hadn't seemed to have aged a day. He wasn't back to catch up, though, he sought some of the old tomes he'd used before.
Fifty years passed after that, and he returned having achieved his goals. He was ready to settle down. Tanner had changed, wildly, though. This would be in the late 1990s, and Pallas stuck out like a sore thumb. The remnants of the Xenakis family were in their thirties and had no intention of having any children. He pretended to be a cousin that had been born from a family that had stayed in Greece. This was the truth, but it was wildly truncated. He might have been able to keep this up except his bad luck had a tendency of following him. He was shot in the head. No one can really say why. But the rumor was that he was drunkenly belaboring a member of the town, and it had turned to fisticuffs... which had turned into Pallas having just brought insults to a gunfight.
Pallas had only been buried a week, and per tradition, his gravesite was being visited by his family and a handful of the elders of the coven. So, when he dug himself out--they screamed, he screamed, and it was probably a nightmare for all involved. At that moment, he was excommunicated from the coven til there was a time that he would be needed. But they swore that he wouldn't be.
Well, apparently hell froze over because he received a letter inviting him back to Tanner, Washington when his cousins requested his help with something. He wasn't given much in the way of respect or authority. They were just happy to use him for his knowledge, however, liquor-soaked it was. From what Pallas could tell, they were looking up an old Xenakis ritual, and he would be the last one to have seen it. He couldn't help, really. The last time he'd laid eyes on it, he'd been a baby. Most things from his childhood had gone up in flame.
Yet, while the invitation that he'd received had been one for him to come and help, his stay wasn't free. He ended up working for the bed and breakfast that was run out of their big, old house that now only housed a few of them. It specialized in discreet stays and authentic Greek food. Timeless Taverna and Inn was the name of the place, and while it didn't see heavy traffic--it was nice punctuation for an idyllic stay in Tanner. Pallas pretty much handled a lot of the more heavy-duty tasks around the estate. That was about five years ago. While Pallas has been absolutely bored out of his mind with the mundanity of it all, he was happy to be back around family even if "Family Monopoly Nights" were the things of a capitalistic nightmare.

Ever since she was little, Helena always had a strong connection to the dead, and them to her. She can see and talk to them just like any other living being would. This strong connection towards the supernatural comes naturally for her and the dead feel the same as well.
Key Spells:
Tether: Connection - Helen creates a poppet or an effigy to represent the target. To "link" the effigy to the target's soul, she integrates a piece of them into it like their toenail clippings or hair. While linked, whatever is done upon the effigy will reflect back on the target but they cannot be killed through it. To break the connection, the effigy of the target must be destroyed or set on fire.
Haunting: Infestation - Calls upon a horde of ghouls and spirits within an area to strike fear in the hearts of Helen's foes and to generally create chaos. She uses this spell to make a person's house haunted or 'infested' with different types of ghosts. To make it more long-term, she can create a totem. When she creates a totem, she pours a bit of her soul energy into it so it becomes a medium for the ghosts to keep coming back to this specific place and continue to haunt it even when she's away. The totem lasts up to three days max on its own or until Helen's energy that's stored within the totem runs up. The infestation can be stopped when the totem is destroyed or set on fire.
Possession: Legion - Helen's body becomes a channel, allowing multiple spirits to possess her at once. On top of giving her improved strength, speed, and dexterity, a dozen spectral arms will sprout out of her body to assist her in battle. However, it also uses up all her pent-up rage, fear, and sadness to cloud her judgement and make her act on instinct like a rabid animal, hellbent on destroying the person or group of people that made her feel such extreme negative emotions. She only uses this spell unconsciously in the most dire of situations and she can only come back to her true self by a purification spell or through an act of love from a loved one.

Helen is quiet and mostly keeps to herself. She's not the type to go clubbing at night or partying over someone's house; crowds drain the life out of her. She mostly likes calm, serene environments like a cafe, the forest, or her room. It's not like she hates socializing but personally, the living is too complex for her. The dead are more transparent, no pun intended, as they always say what they need and what they feel out loud right from the get-go. Worrying about what other people might think about you is useless when you're dead, after all. Besides, she's not that famous in her class anyway. While she might be more straightforward and a little too honest compared to what most people might think, she always helps those in need if it's within her capabilities. She's a very patient and understanding person who doesn't like conflicts and does everything she can to avoid them. It's a whole other matter if her loved ones are involved however, and Helen will stop at nothing to exact her revenge.
History/Bio:
Helen and her brother Harry were born in America and had been living in Tanner, Washington for as long as they could remember. Her mother Paulene was part of a foreign exchange student program at a university where she met Richard and the rest was history. Harry was the star athlete and mister popular in their school while Helen was more of the nerdy wallflower. At a young age, Helen developed a talent to hear voices from people who weren't there. It definitely made her look like the weird kid at school and the other students bullied her. That only made her feel more connected to these voices instead of people. At least they knew the right words to say to her.
Listening to these voices often lead her to situations that would harm herself. Despite her parents telling her not to listen to them anymore, they were Helen's only friends and she didn't want to feel lonely anymore. It had become worse when she would have died if her dad didn't save her at the nick of time.
Determined to not let her be in trouble again, her parents decided to tell her and her brother the truth about who they were. Paulene's family came from a long lineage of babaylan, priestesses that talked to the spirits of the old for guidance and wisdom. They were essentially warlocks who dedicated themselves in the magic of necromancy, using their magic to commune with the dead. Most of them had been killed off by the Spaniards but bloodline managed to withstand the test of time, passing the gift of their ancestors from a mother to her daughter and to her daughter's daughter. Her father knew this about his wife and he still accepted her as a whole despite his own beliefs; that's how much he loved her. Paulene also told the siblings she was a part of the Coven, a secret community within Tanner comprised of witches and warlocks.
From then on, Paulene introduced Helen to the Coven and have her trained as a warlock that practiced necromancy just like her. When they were at home, Helen would also be taught necromancy based on how their people practiced it at their motherland. Paulene hoped that with Helen being half-Filipino, half-American, she would be the bridge that connected two different worlds together to harness her magic and become strong with it so that she will not fall victim to it again.
Helen would then leave Tanner for a bit to get her bachelor's degree in psychology before moving back home while her brother went on with his father at another state for work. She had already set her mind in working for the Coven again, for the immediate time at least while she figured out what she wanted to do in life.

True Seeing - By focusing his connection to the Astral Plane, Lucas can for a moment allow himself to see via Magical means. His vision isn’t perfect in this state, it feels more like looking through LIDAR Maps - Example. Lucas can see magic in this state, seeing things that are invisible and hidden to the naked eye. This spell normally lasts for an hour, however Lucas has worked on trying to extend the duration.
Speak with Animals - Lucas can converse and understand the voices of animals, and they can then understand him. Some Animals are more useful to speak to than others. He tends to use this to speak to Blu to make navigation easier.
Infallible Relay - Lucas Targets a person whom he has spoken to previously. They must be on the same plane of existence as him or on the astral plane. The nearest communications device will ring within 100 feet and they are compelled to answer. If there is no device, a device appears that the person understands how to use. Once answered, Lucas has a connection to them. He can then speak to them, using his mind to speak to them.
B A C K G R O U N D
Born in Tanner, Lucas’s birth was anything but smooth. Carolyn West had the unthinkable disease - Rubella, striking near the start of the pregnancy. No one was entirely sure what the effects were going to be, but upon being born, it was clear that Lucas could not see.
Growing up blind while learning magic was an interesting one. Most Witches use visual cues to be able to focus and react to their magic. Lucas had to learn magic purely by feeling the sensation it created within him. This has left him extremely sensitive to Astral Energy allowing him to pick up on things that others may have missed.
Outside of his magic studies, Lucas began to gain an interest in music, taking solace in being able to listen to every note. He started to learn the piano, and while it was a difficult process to start with, he learnt to break down every sound by hertz, and then apply that to the piano. As such, by the time he graduated High School, he could listen to a piece of music and then replicate it to almost perfection. He also took the time to learn guitar using a very similar method. Speaking of High School, He didn’t do too bad for himself. Tanner’s only high school wasn’t exactly perfectly equipped to deal with his condition when he started. But with the help of a few community fundraisers organised by several students, Lucas had everything he needed to live a comfortable school life.
In his final year of High School, Lucas finally got a seeing dog: an Golden Retriever called Blu. This allowed Lucas to have some level of independence. Lucas bonded very quickly with Blu and regards them as his best friend. Lucas eventually decided to go to college, Going to Seattle as it was close to home. He did a basic Music degree, hoping to perhaps go into making his own music. Coming back to Tanner, Lucas is somewhat nervous for the future. Trying to see the future, trying to become independent, and also trying to actually be a productive Coven Member.

History/Bio:Raised by Tina and Ronald Parker, Violet had the best life growing up in a small country town in Florida. Her parents were well off- her mother a Professor and her father an Emergency Department physician. She wanted for nothing. Though, as she grew into a teen, her rebel years hit her hard. Violet didn't feel as if she belonged with her parents and felt as if she were destined for something bigger than what she had. She started to act out and using her powers for her own wants. Thankfully her Coven hadn't caught on to what she was doing, as they were very lax on their dealings with their members.
Finally, at the age of twenty-five, everything had fallen into place when she received a mysterious letter from a woman named Amanda Aston. She stated that she was in fact her birth mother, and promised her a Coven of her very own. One that was her birthright. After a few phone calls and a couple more letters, Violet received an invitation to the Coven's Handover party and an offer of housing to remain in Tanner, Seattle. Violet was finally going to get everything she could ever want.
