As someone who, about a year ago, was running a GMing a ttrpg campaign over Discord and was essentially winging every session because I had no idea what I was doing, I wish you good luck. I'm assuming this is a homebrew game?

Considering how Cruise Ships are practically floating Petri Dishes, that's actually a great way to make a Horror Campaign much more horrifying.

Side note in regards to the horror cruise campaign. That could be an interesting situation for a number of reasons. Ilithid false front to collect new bodies to eat/use for growing their population. One of the demons of pestilence needing more power for a ritual or needs their bodies to spread their plagues and grow power that way. Cultists of one of the many far realm beings, abolish, or krakens looking to appease their masters so they will appear on the realm.
