I recommend requiring people to verify their email before sending email notifications to prevent abuse.

I also don't know if anyone also suggested this one, but:
maybe a limit on how many times you can post in the status bar per day? to prevent spamming and all that?

If it has, great. I thought I saw a screenshot of someone checking the notification box with an unverified email.

@Mahz The "username history" profile slot is bugging out. I haven't had any recent name changes and it's displaying for me. That said, it doesn't have any names or anything. It just says "username history" after the bullet point and that's it.
