Appearance: Unkempt messy black hair, brown eyes, 6'3", lanky build
Background: Bertie wasn't a gunslinger at heart. Or even a true thief. Although if asked, he'd describe himself as the latter. In reality, he was nothing more than a petty mechanic who got caught in the midst of a fight one night after work. Fists were drawn, weapons came out and someone died... leading to him being arrested.
That was six years ago.
Fresh out of prison, Bertie had nobody to turn to. Not because of family death, but because he was disowned and had kept to himself all these years after. That mechanic job meant a lot to him. Both in terms of sociability, but more importantly, survivability. After several attempts to get hired on as a mechanic again, at various outposts and with failure to do so, he found himself broke. More notably... hungry. Who'd want to hire a known trouble maker? A delinquent.
What's a guy gotta do? Starving to death was not a viable option. He was damned sure to survive, one way or another, if only to bother his parents that much more. Just as he was fixing to pocket a single candy bar, he overheard some older gentlemen talking about his next meal ticket, Julia Meyer.
He wasn't a fan of the idea of an escort mission, not at all, but figured it was a decent enough start at proving himself.
At A Glance: Binx is not morally sound necessarily, but he doesn't go out of his way to do harm unto others. His actions tend to be out of a need to survive, but his compass may shift depending on the situation. He's very self centered.
Skills: He's good at evasion but more importantly, fixing mechanical things.
Equipment: Binx always carries a few bobby pins to help him pick locks. He also likes to read. He'll occasionally swipe books when you're not looking. Particularly if they're of the occult variety. He doesn't necessarily believe in the supernatural, he figures it's just a nice way to pass the time.
