Teen Titans: Ouroboros
Years of playing cat and mouse with Slade had finally come to a breaking point for the Titans when a series of leads got them into a position to head off and confront the criminal master mind. The resulting fight caught Slade on a back step, seeing that the team had the advantage he chose to turn and burn, leaving much of his assets unprotected. Taking advantage of what they were able to gather from Slade's hideout before it was destroyed by the fight, the Titans began to systematically track down and apprehend Slade's known associates. This would have a domino effect of finding more and more evidence linking to some higher level crime rings. For the next few years the Titans carefully used this fortuitous line of information to aid authorities around the country to set up and execute several searches and arrests on long standing criminal heads, and raids on properties used as safehouses. Things had finally come around in a big way for the team and this put into perspective how much the team was lacking in terms of reach and aid.
Though some leads came up cold, they made sure as many loose ends were tied up as they could, and got with the JLA to turn over some leads that were a little beyond their scope. After the cleanup was through the Titans decided to expanding their team to help handle covert and ground level operations so the JLA would have more time to look at the bigger picture. This was an exciting time for the Titans where they found that the spotlight put on them helped other meta humans to be comfortable coming forward with their powers and even form teams of their own. Some years of trying to aid these teams from Jump City showed the Titans that while being together was nice, they were going to have to split up to give proper aid and training with the meta humans that were cropping up. This gave rise to many new teams that, paired with the recent destabilization of the criminal underworld, saw a significant drop in active crimes.
For several years there was a sort of peace, not a lot was going on that warranted full teams to mobilize, but Robin could tell something was brewing. While it was a huge win to clean up a large set of criminals like they did, it created a power vacuum that lesser groups or other branches will be looking to take advantage of to get a leg up on their competition. Slowly he could see the darkness creeping back in around Jump City, old names being whispered, properties being renovated and reopened. They were signs of the beginning that showed they were coming full circle once more.

Hey everyone! This is a rebooting of the previous Teen Titans roleplay that I had a while back. I plan to have a story that unfolds around the players' actions, but their inaction will also have consequences should they choose to not act on events happening around Jump City. As time goes on the city changes and more leads and stories will pop up. With how the story is designed there are a few cannon characters unavailable for players as they are for main or side story hooks. Once we get the story started the progression through it will be paced with how the characters interact with each other and the hooks that are out. I plan to allow for a good amount of downtime between major events to let characters explore the city independent of the story. During this time investigations can be followed up on, independent stories can be explored, and many other things and later on new places to be found. Aside from telling this story with you all, I most of all look forward to the stories you all will write with your characters.

Intro Hive Five encounter where they showed the Titan’s there is more than just street crime they have to be ready for, and that there are high powers looking their way.
The Titan’s become comfortable with their position as they successfully put away many heavy hitting street villains and mob bosses throughout Jump City.
Slade makes his first move against the Titan’s showing them that they have become lax in their comfort. Slade was able to easily divide and conquer the Titan’s after Robin broke the trust of his team and made a false persona to work for Slade to try and get close to him.
After a long game of cat and mouse with Slade a final confrontation with the team showed that he was more than capable of taking on the Titan’s alone, but an unforeseen hitch in Slade’s plan lead to him having to withdraw from the fight subsequently destroying his base of operations, and sparking large scale conflict from groups he was allied with for assets he had left behind.
To combat these conflicts the Titans enlisted heros they had met along their travels and missions to help quell the unrest from other cities.
