Given that unlike the test with the pillar, where the officials and staff conducting the trials explicitly were mentioned showing up and putting up barriers to both shield the audience and to rein force the pillars, I'm of two minds regarding this.

1) There are no safety measures, until someone does fall off their broom or look like they're about to crash - at which point the officials/staff will interfere by casting some sort of cushioning spell or otherwise soften/prevent the full-on bellyflop onto solid ground.

2) There are no safety measures and people are responsible for not eating dirt themselves. This is based on anime/manga in a setting of magic and fantasy. Falling from your broom and face-planting into the dirt isn't necessarily something that'd kill you unlike in real life. After all, people get hit by fireballs or toxic gas or lasers or a myriad of other hings in Black Clover and don't die. It's only in SRS plot moments where people actually seem to be able to "die".

Of course, I'm just guessing here and don't actually have any answer. Could be that Zeroth has something entirely different in mind.

I asked about the use of violence and the response; “But as long as they don't kill each other, blasting somebody out of the air, or restraining them, hiding with the ball, etc are all options. Basically "how do you use your magic to obtain, protect, and so forth an Object of Importance."

So I’m assuming there would be safety measures for such actions.

Oh, he is going to make his existence a problem for a lot of people.

As for Kreszenz, yeah, he would for a few reasons. For starters, even if she is a noble, he would rather work with someone he would deem to be one of the few that could be a threat to him if she was not on his side. Second, he would think that it would actually look good to the captains. Teamwork is a valued skill as a knight and to be able to coordinate with someone he just met effectively would probably be a gold star for both him and Kres. Third, he'll take whatever edge over the competition he can get because he can't afford to fail.

@Xaltwind I'm imagining Kohra having trouble getting a broom off the ground, and this seems like a good opportunity for interaction between her and Camilla. I'll get a post up later today, but I just wanted to put it out there now in case anyone else's character is going to have trouble and wants in on the interaction.

Actually, I'm curious if anyone is going to ask the man explaining the trial any questions. Kohra is going to hold herself back from asking any questions since she doesn't want to appear like she doesn't know what she's doing, but if someone else is going to ask something basic that'll affect how I do my post.
