Years ago Scott Grayson was the original Sparrow of the hero called Dark Claw, until his meta-mutant powers kicked in. After years of training with the violent vigilante as well as a chance encounter with Dr. Strangefate, Grayson went on to form the Titan X (10). Shortly after, Grayson took the name Night Vision and the team evolved over the course of roughly nine years. Members of the team would come and go, dozens of heroes it seemed like. The group even had an off-shoot, the Teen Titan X, that had several iterations as well. Now during a time of crisis, the remaining members of both groups have banded together to stop mutual enemies.



Its been too long since I've had time to RP, so I've been cooking up this idea for a few weeks now. Amalgam Comics style universe with a twist, just creating characters combining heroes from the Titans/Teen Titans with the X-Men. I chose to only incorporate a handful of the established Amalgams from previous universes because I didn't wanna step on too many toes in what you fine folks have to play with. There's no Amazon flying around so Storm is free to use in a new Amalgam character. This whole idea stemmed from a Titan X concept I saw somewhere on the internet recently that had the Night Vision Amalgam leading a squad. I came up with a backstory and connection to previously established Amalgams and here we are LOL.

Who on Earth could mutants like Gambit and Morph combine with from the Titans universe? Maybe Gambit and Arsenal could be merged to create Wildcard? If I could do it justice I would totally combine Kid Devil and Nightcrawler to make Hellcrawler. What would a combination of Wonder Girl and Jean Grey's Marvel Girl be called? Prodigy? Girl Boss?

Like the majority of my RPs, I'll be looking for around 7-11 players. We're still just a player or two shy of where I'd like to be numbers wise. The only requirements are that characters are based on combinations of Marvel and DC heroes affiliated with the X-Men and Titans franchises. Here's a list of previously established Amalgams, as well as the 'original villains,' and accepted players' Amalgams in a separate list...

Finally got my new CS posted, who are we still waiting on? Just @Polaris North as far as the already approved cast goes?

I'm still working on the opener for the IC, had some slight problems on my laptop earlier trying to use an earlier version of mspaint. Still trying to recruit a couple more players to make a squad closer to ten people, if we don't meet the number I'll likely throw in a couple characters as NPC's and fodder for villains.

Lady Mystique (Lady Shiva and Mystique) and Wild Thing (Harley Quinn and....I think Silver Fox at a guess? Idk she was mentioned in Orphan's CS) could be added to the villains list as they've been established in our backstories

I'll get the IC started sometime after work today. Bout 12-13 hours from now. Had to let the baby use the laptop to watch YouTube before bed...

Still working on the IC opener. I didn't wanna rush it and it be half assed. There's still time to find another player or two if anybody knows somebody that might be into this sorta RP. I'll tag some people later and see if I can get anybody...

Finally finished some micros. Took a few liberties here and there just cause I didn't want everything looking too similar, and then with some I just didn't wanna rely on black as a primary or secondary color. Lemme know what you guys think!

Quick question for my next post. What powers will Marauder copy from the Herald of Cytorakk

I'll try and get caught up reading on the IC this evening to start on a post. I generally RP during my three day weekends between Sat-Mon. I also accepted another CS combining Zackary Zatara with the Scarlet Witch to make Spellbinder. @Double will be in-game with us soon!

Quick question for my next post. What powers will Marauder copy from the Herald of Cytorakk

I'd say he's generally just gonna give off strength, a little speed boost, and durability. However since his powers are somewhat supernatural, they may be unable to be copied for any long length of time. Cytorakk may not be keen on somebody using his power without permission. Rogue's had different outcomes trying to absorb Jugs power, depending on the writer and circumstances.

Also! The production plant I work in is getting some much needed maintenance tomorrow so I've got a four day weekend!

Funny enough, I’m playing Zach Zatara in another RPG. My take on him is definitely different from yours lol.
