I think that ASL should be taught in American public schools.

I recently bought a ton of new houseware items for myself. Coffee maker, rice cooker, pots and pans, slow cooker, air fryer, toaster, towel sets (both bath and kitchen), alarm clock, oil sprayer, bed set, memory foam mattress + bed frame, etc. Most of it is a sage/pastel-esque green since green is my favorite color. Probably spent more than 500-600 bucks at this point so far, but if I do decide to get the sage green mixer at my work to add to it that'll skyrocket my total cost lol

My favorite pizza toppings are pepperoni and ham.

When I worked in the deli, we used to have to keep cheese samples for customers. One week, it was Muenster. I decided to use the Muenster samples as a 'base' for a stick man me and my friends created. Cheese for his 'leg', taped toothpicks for the body, and then we drew a face on the grape for his head.

We named him Fred Muenster.

Our manager made us throw him in the trash.

He had a legendary four hours of existence.

Yeah, we carry it at my place of work. I manage retail and in our kitchenware/gadget section we just have a bright pink section between all the black, stainless steel, etc. cookware.

Maybe it's the biological code working in over drive, but no child ever has to worry about anything around me. Hungry? Wanna play? Got big questions? I've got it all covered. I can't count how many times I've helped a wondering/lost kid over the years. I wonder if they remember me at all.

I once had a pet hamster who escaped from his cage, and my family didn't find him for almost a month. Luckily he was still alive and well when my dad caught him in a live trap made with a bucket, some books, and a spoonful of peanut butter.

Growing up I was told that hate is a strong word. Ok, a lot of people use the term loosely, but I'm talking about the real deal. I don't think I've ever hated anyone, although I'm not sure because I'm not sure what it feels like. What I know is that I've never acted spitefully or maliciously, temptations notwithstanding. I guess that could be a good thing.

On the opposite end of the scale is love. Growing up, no one warned me against it, because maybe they thought it is something everyone wants. I'm not sure if I've ever loved someone, because I'm not sure what it feels like, either. Maybe love is just caring deeply for someone. Although I have cared for people in my life, I can't honestly say that I've cared deeply for anyone: the type of care that causes you real pain when you know another person is in pain or brings you true joy to know they are happy. I've heard about it but can't say I've felt it, not to what I assume to be the fullest extent. Maybe I'm not capable of it, or maybe I just haven't met someone who affects me like that. From what I hear about love, and the hurt it can cause, I guess that could be a good thing. Nah... I hear a lot of nice things about it, more good than bad. I want to know what it feels like.

I've had depression for over thirty years.

One time, I had asked my husband to get me a necklace for my birthday. I was very unspecific. So, when my birthday came, he somehow managed to convince me that he had gifted me an air fryer for my birthday. In the process, he had me watch all these unboxing videos of how amazing a particular air fryer was. (I am now an expert.) However, when I was finally done opening the huge packaging, it was a beautiful Cartier necklace. ❤️
