LUX BAR

Chas didn't doubt Lucifer's words, as he never knew of the man to lie. If he says he owes John a favour then it's most certainly true. John didn't do anything without making sure he was owed something in return, it's just how his friend was. He took a file after Lucifer and Serena did and began to look through it, making sure not to miss a single detail.

His attention got interrupted however when Serena suddenly gasped and held her head. Instantly putting the file down, he went to get up but Lucifer best him to it, as well as Josh. When she said Kay's name before her eyes clouded over, he instantly got concerned. He didn't waste any time getting his phone out and began to dial John's number. He had to know what was happening back at The House.

JOHNS PLACE

Kay didn't come round, she remained under whatever was having a hold on her. Her eyes remained locked in the golden state as she was limp in John's arms.

"no!" Kay screamed at the male in this void, vision? She couldn't even say what it was. But she could say it felt so real to her. "It's going to happen one way or another. You can't run away and hide from this place ..from us. You ARE one of us" he told her sternly, closing the gap between them in a blink of an eye, scaring Kay to her core. "let me go..from whatever this!" She practically begged, but he just grabbed her arm and dragged her to the wall. "Look at this!! Look!! This is YOUR fate!!" He screamed in her face, making her look at the wall where it depicted her causing destruction on Earth, turning it all to rubble.

"BUT you can change it if you just come home to us!" He warned her, letting go roughly. Kay shook at what he was telling her, not wanting to believe his words but what was happening in Fia's time, it was true. He then grabbed her arm and pulled her to look at another wall, brushing vines out of the way to reveal a future where she killed Fia, Serena and other loved ones. The shock made her gasp and run away, not seeing where she was going and she fell off a cliff. Making her wake up

In her unconscious state, when the mysterious Fae male grabbed her, a red hand mark appeared on her body in front of John, a tear fell from her eye. Then she woke up with a start and a gasp.

John held her to his chest, tears in his eyes. “Love please…please wake up…darling don’t leave me now…” when she woke he heard her and looked down at her. “Love? You alright? Bane she’s back. Bane mate what’s wrong?” He had been so focused on Kay he hadn’t seen Bane holding his head in pain, leaning on the wall. He said weakly “Serena…something…wrong…can’t…pull out…”

Then his phone went off and John pulled it out and hit the speaker “Chas?! What’s going on? Is Serena alright?”

Serena hit the floor as Drake and Lucifer ran over to her, moving her to her back. “Serena? Love can you hear me?” “Mom? Mom! What’s going on? Dad…her eyes are clouded…what happened?”

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay was terrified as she tried to regain her breathing pace to a normal slow pace. Looking up at John, she could finally see she was back, in John's home and the mysterious Fae was nowhere to be found. She found herself, clinging onto John as she tried to not burst into tears over what she just saw. She still didn't know what was going on, what happened or really where she had gone. She didn't understand any of it, but she had a feeling if this kind of situation was happening, then they must all be getting close to a few answers.

Then she heard Chas' voice come through the phone, with heating Drake's in the background panicking. Whatever happened to her, Serena was now feeling it from the link they shared. "I...I think you both..are feeling what happened to me..." Kay said to Bane trying to make sense of everything, and hoped that now she was awake, Serena and Bane would be able to come round shortly too.

LUX BAR

Fia went over to Drake's side to comfort him, wrapping an arm round him and onto his back. She wished she could say everything would be alright but she didn't know that for certain. She just had to be there for Drake in the here and now and hope that she was being of some kind comfort.

"John mate, I was about to ask you the same thing for there! Serena just collapsed, eyes clouded over. Said something about Kay before she passed out..or at least, what I think is passing out. What's happening?" Chas replied on the phone when John finally picked up. he glanced around DT everyone but for the most part kept his eyes on Serena. He watched as Josh ran over now that he had shaken himself out of a shook induced frozen state.

John held her and said “you’re safe. I swear it. I’m right here…you didn’t go anywhere…I’m not sure what that was but you’re okay. I got you…” he looked at Bane then said to the phone “Chas, I need Luci here. As soon as you can. Something is going on and I think we need more help. I don’t think this is by chance…”

Bane groaned and said “I think you’re right Ms Kay…if I’m only getting a part then Serena must be in a lot more pain…hopefully this fades…”

Serena stirred as her eyes cleared, seeing those above her. “Josh…is she…okay?” Lucifer frowned and said “maze, pack a bag. We are going with them.” Serena waited till she heard the answer then her head fell to the side as she blacked out.

Drake hung onto Fia, tears in his eyes. “I can’t…not again…I can’t watch her…get hurt…again…”

JOHN'S PLACE

John may have said she didn't go anywhere and that she was safe, but she didn't feel like it was completely true. Whilst her body stayed here, in his arms, her mind certainly didn't stay. She didn't know how to tell him that she did go somewhere, at least partially and wherever it truly was she went, it was terrifying and whoever she spoke to scared her greatly. That the only reason she snapped out of whatever it was, a trance? A vision? A full blown mental trip? Was because she fell off a cliff side.

She listened as John spoke to Chas over the phone, Chas' voice just about breaking through to her as she tried to come to terms with what happened to her. Then Bane spoke up, explaining he felt a fraction of what she went through. "I'm sorry the link made you feel that headache..." She mumbled, refusing to get out of John's grip, only feeling safe in his arms. Then the words just csme out of her mouth, not realising his phone was still connected to his call with Chas.

"I...I think I did go somewhere John...." Came the words.

LUX BAR

Chas looked a Ross and up at Lucifer as John's suggestion came through the speaker on his phone. He could tell by everyone's reaction and facial expressions that Lucifer had already made up his mind to agree to John's request. "we'll get ready and head back as soon as possible." He replied, when he suddenly heard what Kay said in the background, *what does she mean...she went somewhere?" He asked, aware of Serena asking after Kay as well.

Josh knelt down beside her and pulled her into him, kissing the top of her head. "I think so...I think so" he replied, not knowing for certain if Kay truly was okay. He didn't want to give her false information or lie to her, so he could say what he thought was the best thing. Just as he was going to ask her if she was okay, she passed out herself.

"Serena!" He gasped, keeping a hold on her so she didn't hit her head on the floor as she went sideways. He looked up at everyone and saw how scared Drake was, "she's going to be okay Drake, I promise" he told him, pulling her closer to him again and then looked down at her, sweeping her hair out of her face, "come on Serena...wake up beautiful" he cooed to her.

Fia kept a hold of Drake, rubbing his back softly with one hand, "she'll be alright. She has us all here this time." She reminded him, "if I have to, I'll step in to help her okay?" She added, looking up at him as he was always just that little bit taller than her.

"John I gotta go, Serena has passed out. See you soon" he spoke one last time on the phone before hanging up.

John looked down at her and said “no love you stayed…wait, are you meaning mentally? What did you see?” Bane tried to get up, worry on his face as he made his way over to the pair. “Ms Kay?”

John said “I’ll get the details for you when you get back Chas. Take care of Serena for us. Hurry back here…” when he hung up he looked at Bane and asked “is she okay?” Bane was rubbing his face and said “I’m not sure…but she’s alive so that’s something…”

Drake was shaking against Fia, holding her hand as he fought to get a grip.

Lucifer moved over to the bar set up and was digging around for something. “I think I have smelling salts somewhere…Maze didn’t we use that salt for the drinks last weekend?”

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay tried to sit up slowly, making sure not to move too quickly and risk making herself light headed. When John realised what she was implying, she gave a slow nod. "I don't really understand it to be honest, but I think I was in some kind of cave or something? There...were hieroglyphics all over the place, like crude ones. Then this guy appeared out of nowhere..." she began to explain as she forced herself to remember everything she could. "He told me it was my destiny to be there. I'm guessing to lead them, whoever them was" she added, "but then he threatened me with a prophecy of me killing Fia if I didn't accept who I was" she finished explaining.

That last bit of information hurt the most. She could still see the figure's face looking serious and foreboding as he stared at her. "I got so scared I ran and that's when I woke up" she then added, realising she forgot to mention that part. She tried to remember if she was told where it was she was stood, but her mind was foggy. Then she had an idea, "get me my sketchbook and pencils...I think I can draw out what I saw" she suggested.

LUX BAR

Fia could feel Drake shaking against her, as she tried to keep a firmer hold on his hand in an attempt to comfort him but she felt like she was doing a pretty poor job. "She'll be okay" she told him once more, determined to get it through to his head. "I'm right here" she cooed.

Maze gave a nod and went straight to the bar to help him look for the salts. "If it's not in one of these cupboards, I might have another idea of where it could be" she replied to Lucifer, not personally finding anything. "But yeah, we did use some of it" she replied, "you used smelling salts in drinks!?" Chas asked surprised at what he just heard and hoped he heard wrong. That could not be healthy to be mixing smelling salts with alcohol in his opinion.

Josh just kept trying to wake Serena the old fashioned way, keeping ahold of her and stroking her hair. "Come on babygirl...wake up" he spoke softly near her ear, hoping she would wake up soon. He hated feeling so useless and helpless in these situations. He wasn't immortal or had some kind of power, he was just a normal mortal and there was nothing he could do to help her.

The book was floating next to her in moments as Bane came over, shadows holding her things. He smiled and said “these what you needed?”

Drake swallowed then nodded softly, slowly getting his head back on. He said “thanks Fia…and sorry about…you know…” he blushed as he said it.

Luci said “not in the drinks. We keep small cups around the table to keep everyone from passing out hard. We were having a party the other night”

Serena stirred in his arms, her eyes fighting to open as she turned her head.

JOHN'S PLACE

Looking up and towards Bane and the shadows, Kay nodded slowly so not to send her head spinning all over again. "Yeah, thanks..." She replied. Taking her sketchbook and pencils from the shadows, she gently pulled herself out of John's grip so she could sit cross legged and opened her book up. She began to put pencil to paper and sketched out the walls she saw and what was carved or drawn on them. She even drew the hidden image that was shown to her behind a vines covered wall. As Kay did her sketching, she saw the original images in her so clearly, despite them coming to her as flashes which did hurt her head. She powered through however until she just couldn't anymore. She dropped her pencil as a nosebleed began, droplets of blood hitting the page.

LUX BAR

Fia blushed ever so slightly for a brief moment when Drake brought up his confession from earlier. She shook her head, "don't be, it's okay. It's something we can talk about later...away from snooping adults" she told him, knowing it had to be addressed between them at some point. There was a lot to unpack when that conversation happens.

Chas nodded at the explanation from Lucifer and he had to admit to himself, he was surprised Lucifer was so sensible. This was like a different Lucifer he knew in the past. Maybe this detective was being a good influence, he figured. "makes sense" he replied as he saw Maze being what Lucifer needs.

As Serena began to stir awake, Josh let out a breath he didn't even know he was suddenly holding. "Serena? Come on baby girl, you're almost awake" he cooed, kissing the top of her head.

John pulled out his tissue and held it to her nose. “Love no more alright? You need to take a break. Apart from my freaking out about you, I have a feeling you’re linked to Serena as well…”

Drake said “I meant snapping at you before…and getting upset with you…”

Lucifer smiled and nodded then saw his face and said “I’m not as reckless as I once was. I’m not as immortal as I thought and my dear detective doesn’t like when I take risks like I used to. She’s…changed me a bit”

Serena groaned softly and opened her eyes a little, her vision blurred. “Josh…what’s…”

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay was going to keep going until John all but stopped her by pressing a tissue to her nose and told her to stop. "O..okay..." She replied, feeling like whatever was coming for both her and Serena, it really was coming soon, just as the shadow said it was. She felt like she losing her mind, but there was no way she felt she could tell John or Bane that as it was clear she was worrying John enough as it is in this moment. "I think we are" she finally said, not sure how to take being linked to more than one person.

"Whatever is coming...we got three days to prepare for it" she told him and Bane.

LUX BAR

Fia felt like Drake didn't need to apologise for snapping at her. She was expecting that what she did and how she went about it all would make him snap. It was understandable why he would, it was Serena, his mother they were talking about. She knew deep down that if the roles were reversed she would have snapped too. "Like I said, it's okay. I would have reacted the same way if I was in your shoes" she told him. She watched on as Chas and Lucifer continued to discuss things and Josh managed to get Serena to stir awake.

Josh exhaled the breath he was holding in when Serena opened her eyes and spoke to him. "You're okay. You just passed out. We think it's to do with Kay. She's gone through the same thing back at John's. He needs us all back there." He explained. "John sounded like he was freaking out on the phone" he added.

"And I don't wanna scare anyone but John freaking out is out of character for him, so if he's freaked, something big is happening" Chas chimed in.

Bane nodded softly and said “the bond between you and Serena is different than your link to John. She feels what you feel when it’s a threat…that’s how it was for your mother and Serena’s father. John let’s get her off the floor shall we?”

John nodded and picked Kay up into his arms and said “Kay…you’re not telling me something…what do I need to watch for?”

Drake nodded and said “still…I know you would never say anything or do anything like that unless you felt you had to…I know you well enough to know that”

Serena tried to move and said “she saw something that scared her…that’s all I felt thru whatever that was…”

Lucifer came over and knelt down, resting a hand on her cheek and looked at her closely. “Maze and I are coming with you. I feel we are needed…maze? Do we have bags ready t9 go?”

JOHN'S PLACE

Kay felt so useless at the moment and she hated it. It brought back similar feelings to when she was on the streets and constantly trying to find warmth or hiding from demons that were stalking her. It was that similar kind of helplessness that she felt now. She hated making the others worried, she hated that even though they were apart, she was affecting Serena as well. The girl didn't deserve to feel what she felt just now. It was so full of dread, desperation and pain. Groaning as John hoisted her off the floor and into his arms, she held onto him securely as he spoke up, assuming she was withholding some information but she didn't know what she even held back. She thought she told him everything.

"I've told you everything" she replied to him, "I..I don't know what you need to watch for, there's been so much information thrust on me, I can't think anymore...it hurts" she said, glancing down and still seeing the mark on her arm from the male Fae, causing her to pull down her sleeve to cover it up. "I just hope those drawings will be of use to someone" she sighed, glancing her eyes down at her sketchbook.

LUX BAR

Fia gave Drake a small smile, glad that he did still know she wouldn't go out of her way to hurt him. She would never want to hurt him in any way, at least not purposely. Watching the others tend to Serena, she overheard what Serena said and rose an eyebrow at the words. Now that was curious as as far as they all knew, whilst being at John's house, there shouldn't have been anything around to scare her to that extent. "I wonder what that was" she mused to herself, more than to anyone in particular.

Josh let Lucifer see to Serena for himself before glancing up at Maze as she was spoken to and seeing her walk off to pack the bags in record time. "She'll be alright yeah?" he asked Lucifer, meaning Serena as he helped her up and off the ground when she was ready to stand up.

John shook his head and said “that’s not what I mean love. I mean you’re not speaking your feelings. What’s going thru your head right now. That’s what I’m worried about. You can’t bottle it up. You can tell me love”

He walked over to the office and set her on the couch and looked back at Bane. “Is Serena alright?” Bane nodded and said “she’s awake now. Just needs a little help and she will be just fine”

Luci nodded and helped her to her feet and said “just don’t move from her yet. The backlash she got might make her shaky a bit. Seems you guys are having a lot of fun”

JOHN'S PLACE

As John clarified what he meant, Kay sighed. He really was starting to read her like a book and she didn't know if it the bond sigil or just the fact they had been round each other long enough for him to recognise her cues. She didn't know how to tell him what she was thinking or feeling, where she could she even begin to start? As she thought how to even begin that conversation, she gladly sat on the couch as John asked Bane whether he could tell if Serena was awake again. Hearing that Serena was was of a relief for Kay, as she felt guilty in some way that she put Serena through a fraction of what she did because of their link.

"I feel bad that because of our link she's felt a bit of what I did.." she said somberly. "But I mostly feel so confused and...lost...I guess is the right word ..or scared...I don't even know..." She finally admitted to John. "I'm being pulled or tugged from every direction it seems, if I go one way I got demons and a good chunk of Hell on my ass and lead me to corruption, if I go another way I think I got my mother's kind...my kind coming after me...I think. I don't know know which way to turn." She said, trying to find the right words what's going on in her head, but she didn't want to go anywhere.

She wanted to be normal, or what she considered normal.

LUX BAR

Josh nodded and took on what Lucifer was saying, having no plans whatsoever to leave Serena's side. He may not be immortal or have special magical powers that he knew of, but he sure as hell had determination and fierce loyalty he could count on. "I got her" he said, when Chas couldn't help but scoff in amusement at Lucifer's choice of words. "Not sure fun is the word I'd use" he remarked.
