Today is Xaltmas Eve, which is the day us Swedes have decided to celebrate, rather than Xaltmas Day - which is the day the rest of the world celebrates. As such, I'll be off to have a bit of family festivities between about 12 PM and 3-4 PM, CET/GMT +1. And it's about 11:30 AM when I'm posting this, soooooo...

Not a huge deal, I'll be back and able to respond to any posts or PMs today, just not as quickly as usual.

Also, as it says in the Tips & Hints, if you want to post more than once per round, you totally can. Don't feel like you have to wait for me to drop a GM post after everyone's posted once. Just don't flood the IC with short back-and-forth posts and things'll be fiiiiiiiiine~

Alright then, off to stuff my tummy with food and give and get soem holiday presents.

That being said, is it safe to presume that we can't 'finish' an action/activity before you update us in another post?

IF you've asked for details or potential results for your actions, either here in the OOC or via PM to me directly, you can finish a task before I make a GM update-for-all post. That said, if you want to finish a task before a GM post, keep in mind that your character will be disjoined from anyone else in the timeline until they reach a similar point as you.

Thus, I'd recommend not tryint to finish too many things on your own, unless you're by yourself, or have no intentions of interacting with other characters for a while.

On a different note, I do believe that's everyone having posted at least once for this round, so I'll get to work on a GM post a little later. Note though, apart from @ERode none of the rest of you lot has actually gone or attempted anything that requires my immediate attention or interference, so it might not be a very long one.

I'd suggest starting to get to work on, or heading out to, start doing some action-y actons of actual acitvity - unless you're all fine with just hanging out at the town center and chatting. I'm cool with that too. ^^

... Also gotta write a little tid-bit for the dorf huntress and her epic adventures~

@Xaltwind Don't feel like you always gotta include each and every thing from a round, at least not on my account. We're all just kind of interacting at the moment, and I've never really seen the need for a dedicated "Posting Initiative Order" outside of something like combat or time-sensitive scenarios. Since you're controlling multiple characters and the environment, no need to unduly burn yourself out.

Given the farm-sim nature of things, it might help reduce stress on your end if any NPCs the Players can't currently see/interact with just get a sort of "Status Report" every once in a while, like "The Miner(s) returned with: Copper Ore x3, Coal x10, Stone x5" or whatever. Not to discourage you from writing up their exploits, of course, just saying for the sake of reducing GM-load.

Your concern is appreciated, and that'll very likely be what happens in the future. For now though, it's the start of the RP and the early days, and I don't really have all that much to my plate to deal with. Of course, I'm not going to write about things there's nothing to write about, but even if you guys are just standing around talking, the NPCs around you will still keep moving and doing stuff.

Don't worry, I'm in nowhere near the territory of being burnt out. That'll likely only be an issue when I go back to work in a little over 2 weeks from now. :)

Oh, and to clear up some confusion I may have noticed.

The longhouse and the stone building are two seperate structures.

The longhouse is made out of wood and has a tiled roof and has cots in it. The stone building is across the street and is made out of, duh, stone and has a thatch roof, but is empty inside. Or it was, until Sheryl and Daryl started using it.

Further info: There are a total fo 10 cots in the longhouse, five along each long wall. They're made out of wood and are of a very basic quality. Hardly comfortable, but way better than sleeping on the ground, floor or in the back of a wagon.

Just holding off on posting just to see what others will do.
