Yuki Akane was born in Kirigakure into the Yuki Clan as the granddaughter of Yuki Samanosuke, the Fifth Mizukage. As part of a clan that traditionally is counted among the highest caste in Kiri, the Aokiri, prior to the reform, she would be born into a high noble family in the Land of Water. Since she was born after the reform, she only has few memories of a mansion in the upper-class Mizuhana District in Kirigakure, before the Enclave project happened, making the gilded walls of the Enclave where she remembered most growing up. The Enclave was the name given to the residential district in Shiomori Island—formerly the Land of Whirlpool—specifically for Kekkans, those that submitted, in any case.

When the rebellion over the Enclave project broke out, like many in the Yuki Clan, Akane’s parents chose to stay loyal to Kiri in order to honour the Fifth Mizukage's wishes. As a result, Akane grew up as part of the Kekkanjutsu users who remained loyal to Kirigakure, sequestered away from the rest of the population, marked by a cursed seal that can be activated to kill her. While serving as a ninja is not required for the Kekkan, there was little else to do in the Enclave, and so, just like all the other children within the Enclave, Akane enrolled in the academy, before participating in the infamous Brood Feast graduation exam, where she had to kill one of her fellow students, a boy from a civilian family she was sure had a crush on her.

As a genin, Akane started doing missions. Unlike the D-ranks missions given to genins in more ‘peaceful’ villages such as Konoha, for instance, Kiri genins see combat and are expected to kill or be killed. A talented genin with a Kekkei Genkai like Akane, even more so. One day, in a C-rank mission, a group of masked shinobi ambushed her team, killing everyone except for her. Rather than finishing her off, however, the group deactivated her cursed seal and brought her to the Land of Fire, specifically, Konoha.

She later found out that this was due to her father’s request. Her father had secretly been in contact with the former Third Hokage of Konoha, Shimura Danzo whom he had known in the war due to the former Hokage and his father, the Fifth Mizukage worked together as allies. Her father's request to Danzo was to take Akane away from Kiri and allow her to live in Konoha. Even back then, Akane already expected that Konoha would have her serve as their kunoichi, what she did not realize, however, was that her cursed seal was not deactivated but merely transferred ownership to Danzo.

Fulfilling the agreement only in technicality, now being the one holding Akane’s proverbial leash, Danzo conscripted Akane into his personal black ops unit, the Root under the codename of Yui. Under Root, Akane was sent on many missions, typically assassinations, her ice release made it convenient to blame the assassination on Kirigakure rather than Konoha. After Uchiha Sasuke killed Danzo, like many Root agents, Akane was reassigned to ANBU under the mask of an owl, where she remained until today.

As a member of the Yuki Clan in post-reformation Kiri, Akane is used to having a stigma. In order to offset it, she has long since learned how to adopt a specific persona to fit in better. A social chameleon, so to speak. This does not necessarily mean that Akane would actively try to deceive people outside of missions, but her first instinct in social situations was to fit in the best she could. Her real personality is the quiet, introverted sort, preferring reading books at home rather than going out on to drink.

Aiko Muramasa is a child born from an unexpected union, one between an heir of a clan known to forge some of the finest blades in the Land of Iron and a clanless Ronin who quickly rose through the ranks by the virtue of her talent and adherence to the principles of Bushido. A figure of hope and admiration for the masses and Aiko herself. An ideal warrior of Bushido that Aiko wishes to follow in the footsteps of.

That code of Bushido however will lead to her family's ruin when they played host to a foreign dignitary, she remembers him being a rude guest and on the first night of his visit he got killed by his own guards that he insisted to keep with him along with her father. She remembered the chaos, the rage inside of her as she cut the traitors off with her mother.

It will be her first and last battle with her however, as the failure to protect the dignitary became an undeniable stain to their name, one that under the code of Bushido can only be satisfied through seppuku. She was spared because of her age and a passionate appeal but she was forced to watch her mother and what remains of her family cut themselves so that she may live with dignity and honor in accordance with Bushido. The sight will forever haunt her as she struggles to uphold the ideals set by her mother, as she finds herself questioning if Bushido is the actual way of life that she should strive for.

She found the answer to her question a month later, when the very people that her mother once protected took advantage of her naivety and looted anything of worth at what remains in her house. Despite being capable of easily escaping her ties, she tries to understand why they are doing this and why they desecrate the place where their protector once lived.

There is no reason other than plain naked greed and the belief they are powerful enough to prey on her an emotionally distraught young girl and win against her. Because as they say, the code of Bushido is an land in the sand made by the weak to deceive the strong because there is only one truth in this world, the truth that allowed the Land of Iron to once dominate the world.

That truth is that 'Might makes Right', the weak cannot fight back, protect themselves or even try to defend themselves.

So it is her right to kill all of them, when she easily escaped their binds and took the last blade her father worked on, after all they were so weak that a girl like her could easily beat them despite their numbers, right? Because she is strong, because she is not weak like everybody else. Aiko survived that night but she will never be the same.

She spent the following years wandering as a Ronin, taking the dangerous jobs she comes across and honing her skills against powerful opponents. Beast, shinobi or fellow samurai it doesn’t matter as long as she gets into an intense fight where she can throw herself and forget about everything.

She continued her life until a mission in Konoha set her blade against Yusuke Uchiha, the man that she did not know at the time will win her hand... (in progress)

Aiko lived most of her life as a thrill seeker, the woman who revels in fights especially the ones where her death is a possibility. For her it is an addiction, a way for her to run and cover any insecurities buried inside of her mask of a free willed woman. She had considerably mellowed out at her time at Konoha, letting herself mask slip sometimes to show the girl she was before; a fair, curious girl who held the blade to protect her family.

By every account Shinku should have led a life in high society, luxurious, sheltered and a tool for the system, or at least it should have been for someone hailing from Nara Clan's Main House who inherited the prestigious Shiei Shōgun. Instead Shinku found herself in the middle of internal & external clan wrangles, amidst the circumstances regarding succession birthrights, Shinku, including her family left Yume with scorn & migrated to Konoha. Having disavowed associations with the Nara, the family bear Majire, taken after her mother's surname.

Although it's a loose whim situation to bear, the Hokage Shikaue, fellow kinsmen & her uncle, sheltered the Majire Family against said grievances. The family integrated as middleclass residents employed in the Konoha Military Police Force, helped them get by. However, the same cannot be said for Shinku, by the decree of shinobi rights of Hinoan Constitution, Kekkījutsu Shinobi are to be surrendered to their clans but the law remains unclear regarding post Chūnin Graduation.

When time came to choose, Shinku desired to overcome her disposition & be the ultimate judge of her life. That's why she's drawn herself to the cause of Uruha, an ambition of a friend’s lifetime while for Shinku it’s a path to find a life of significance.

Deadpan and vigilant by nature, Shinku puts up relationships slowly to a tortoise pace, conforming to those she trusts but nonconforming most people. Shinku is zealous for anything that's ostentatiously comely or so impressive, like Ninjutsu and Chakrascitechnology, obsessively grasping something petty yet practical for the rule of cool. Amidst the extremes, Shinku is ironically the voice of reason in Uruha.

Born to the first (or second) generation of Uzumaki to know only liberty, Ren was given every advantage, and borderline spoiled by his parents, who nevertheless made sure he was taught the story of how his clan was not always like this - If not for Minato the Liberator, he would be a slave along with the rest of his generation, so he had to learn gratitude for what he had. He made friends early, learning the importance of seeing people for what they are and what they did, although he was wary of the more traditional parents of some of his playmates. And of course, he had enough talent to make it in Konoha's Ninja Academy.

He made sure not to directly compete with anyone unless someone challenged him first. He made sure not to make enemies unless he had more friends than the potential enemy had. Yet behind it all was a young man interested in surviving a world where things were less stable than they seemed, considering how Konoha's political scene was as chaotic as ever behind closed doors. What had been done, even by Minato the Liberator, can always be undone, and so alertness, awareness, and a watchful gaze is needed to avoid the Uzumaki Clan falling into perdition again. In the meantime, what noncombat problems can't be solved with enough ramen?

Then came the events of AR 705; first Sasuke killing Danzo after exposing Root, then him, Naruto (who in this world, had the Namikaze name, but still retained his Uzumaki ancestry), and Sakura sacrificing themselves to destroy Pein (who was a full Uzumaki) to prevent him from destroying Konoha completely. Ren's parents barely survived that calamity, while Ren himself had fought valiantly in defense of a group of civilians who had taken refuge in Ichiraku Ramen. He lived, but at what cost, considering how Konoha's position and the Land of Fire's stability was less secure than ever - And the Uzumaki Clan's fortunes; its chances of a dignified place in the world, rested on the Land of Fire staying strong.

Ren knows he is lucky, and only with hard work and a keen eye can he take advantage of that luck. He sees the need to maintain friendly, or at least cordial, ties with as many people as possible, knowing that the best way to avoid conspiracy is not to be hated. While it is sometimes better to be feared than loved, that does not apply to him, for he knows that if he is feared, then he will be hated, and if he is hated... People will plot against him and he cannot abide that.

He has a life to enjoy, after all!

Ren does not seek the spotlight, but he does not want to be shunted into the shadows, either. He seeks to be the main support of his friends, providing them with whatever support they need if he can give that. Suffice it to say, he is good at making connections and leveraging them, but also at cultivating and preserving them.

And above all, he has this deep wish inside himself, one born from historical injustices which might return in unexpected ways, a wish that can be summarized in two words:

Never Again.

Jin was destined for a life of struggle and disappointment from the moment of his birth. He was born when tensions were at their highest in Kirigakure, and born to a bloodline that was already the focus of that tension; Worse, he didn't even have the protection of the family he was hated for being part of. He was the product of an affair, a source of shame for the Terumi family, even as he was hated by outsiders for being of the same blood as so many Kekkans. Those tensions reached their boiling point before he was old enough to even remember it, and the civil war in Kiri began.

Reviled by his own bloodline, feared by those without it, his only source of protection came through his mother, a commoner, and fairly poor besides. All of his earliest memories involve running, from one group or another- Always on the move, a step ahead, but terrified to fall a step behind. With skirmishes breaking out constantly, and the fear of a knife in the dark to drive them, their only choice was to flee the Land of Water entirely, making way for the welcoming arms of the Land of Fire as refugees. While they never knew it, they escaped only minutes ahead of Jin's father, determined to erase the stain on his honor.

Once within the Land of Fire, things improved dramatically for the pair. Jin's mother was a talented seamstress, and while her skills would never make her wealthy, they were enough to earn her a place with a dressmaker in Oto, home of fashion in the Land of Fire. It meant a childhood almost approaching normalcy for Jin. He made friends, explored, the grim memories of his escape from his homeland fading swiftly. He was even able to, with help from his mother's employer, be taken into the local academy despite being from the Land of Water. It was here, however, that he would learn his limitations. Despite his bloodline, and all the famed Shinobi within it... Jin was a hopeless student. He showed only the bare minimum talents for Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, and while he excelled in Taijutsu, and was quite adept at the most raw forms of Chakra manipulation, it was clear that he would never be a shining star. Indeed, despite his ancestry, he was never even able to harness the power of the Kekkei Genkai within him.

In a way, it was a relief. It made him normal. Perhaps even less than normal. It meant he would live a quiet life, if not a peaceful one, never to rise up as a public figure, never to have the spotlight on him. His mother greeted that realization with joy, and after a time, Jin began to believe it a blessing as well. Still, he trained hard in the arts he was able to, and through sheer effort and grit, placed well in the Chunin exams at the first opportunity. It meant that while he may never shine, neither would he be trapped in the archives doing clerical work all his life. He's been quite content, since then, to do his duties with Konoha's police forces, a notoriously jubilant and pleasant presence on the street.

Jin is, put frankly... A bit simple. He isn't actually stupid, of course- He never would have made it through the exams if he were. But he is simple, and direct, and he knows his place in the world will forever be right in the middle of the pack. It allows him a level of complacency, the freedom of not being destined for great things. It lets him take his life a day, an hour, a minute at a time, and to never overthink things that don't concern him in the least. This leads to a laid back and cheerful attitude that is often mistaken for his being dense, and that perception is strengthened further by his refusal to hold a grudge- People think they can get one over on him, or take advantage of him. To an extent, they even can; If only because he can't be bothered to put in the kinds of effort and angst it would take to get them back for it.

Yet, by the same token, it has led over time to people liking him all the more, some even becoming defensive of him, and solving such problems before they ever arise. After all, what good is it to take advantage of somebody so perpetually good natured... Especially when they have friends who can and will rip you apart for it? He has become the Cop that everybody knows and everybody loves, the name you can call out on the street to get a hand moving something heavy, just as much as to stop a crime in its tracks. The only time he can be said to behave seriously, let alone look it, is when he's busy training, or when he actually has to do his job. For all his easy going nature, there can be no denying that Terumi Jin can, and will, throw hands with the best of them.

It's a simple life. A happy life. A life he's content to live.

Chakra Control- While his ability to perform Ninjutsu is subpar, Jin possesses excellent foundations in raw chakra control, for such techniques as water and wall walking, dispelling Genjutsu, and physical enhancement.

Taijutsu Specialist- His lacking skills in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu have led to Jin specializing in Taijutsu. While he is not on par with such legendary masters as Might Guy or Rock Lee, his skills cannot be dismissed, either.

Compared to the life of her fellows the life of Tsukina had been an easy one, she wasn't under the threat of slavery, and she wasn't a bastard child. She was just an unimportant ninja from an unimportant branch of the Yuki clan, however, that would all change when a civil war broke out in the clan; her parents would quickly go to Konoha to stay away from the chaos with her eventually becoming a shinobi there.

Eventually, though her parents and siblings would join the war effort, leaving her alone in Konoha, Tsukina refuses to accept this and is determined to grow strong and eventually return to help her siblings, parents, and clan against the rebelling states.

Tsukina is quite laid back compared to her comrades and is also quite optimistic, cheerful, and curious she is however also quite determined in her role to bring an end to the civil war back home. Regarding ending the civil war, she's been regarded as having "iron will" when it comes to it. On the flip side, Tsukina is hiding a secretive personality behind a wall that is her cheerful personality.

She finds trouble truly fitting into Konoha, often doubting if she can be considered a true member of konoha, she hides all these worries behind a mask of joy that's slowly starting to slip as time and time go on.
